But Russia now saying the meeting is on. And this is of course, consistent with President Trump's attitude generally since he ran for office, which is to take. A less confrontational shall we say approach toward Russian propagation. And I think the Russian action in Ukraine is in fact based on a calculation that the United States is unlikely to take very decisive action against what is what is happening. There. Also, seems unlikely to me that that NATO decides to intervene, although we'll see as this unfolds while there is. We have a president United States who said about the crown prince of Saudi Arabia. When he went to Helsinki ways questions about this whole, you know ineffective. Of Russia and the election, and he thought he wanted to dispel it. And if you put together the president's reaction to the murder of Mr. kashogi, and now his non reaction to Putin's provocation and do grade it's bad enough than Ukraine itself. And it's bad enough in the neighborhood of Ukraine. But what does it say everywhere? Right. So the question is whether or not that's justified, and that's probably something going to have to see you in coming days. Now in mentioned, the the reaction of the west Elizabeth, and we have heard some strong words coming coming out about this. Do you think that the reactions been appropriate? Should there have been more? So it's a very tricky situation for the west because Ukraine, as as we know all know is is not a member of of NATO or the us. So the west doesn't have any of. Treaty obligations. But yet, of course, it has a moral obligation to to condemn aggression against them. What one would call an in the sense country. But if the west gets involved in any sort of military way, I think that the fear in in most western capitals is that it would lead to escalation that might turn out to be uncontrollable. And so now the the approach for an hour is to condemn Russia in in very strong words and hope that that does the trick. I don't think it will what about Donald Trump? What's he said? Well, he said he he may not meet with Putin entity twenty which may be a good thing not just because of this. But because. Put in or Trump considers himself, a master negotiator. And clearly is not if we look at the North Korea the other turned out to be not so great. And if you put him in the room with somebody who is clearly in various guilty petition. I e Putin. You don't know what we've come out of it. So it may be better that they don't meet in Germany has offered to mediate is this helpful. Lifts becomes like pain and trying to mediate, unfortunately, that hasn't advancing. Let's look at what are in place. Ports much really been able to their goals. So it's clearly important that you have other countries involved and continue to get focused to this issue because Russia's shown itself to more willing to listen to major western countries, and you could sell, but it's very unclear what they can achieve. I mean, there have been some calls for Berlin to actually help Kiev militarily boots on the ground. I just don't think that will happen. It would be as I mentioned earlier wouldn't would lead to very dangerous esscalation. And even if we were to even if the west argue at this point, though that we should help Ukraine in this situation. Once you set that. In motion. It leads to escalating that would then be much harder to to control them. We we just have no idea where it would lead. So I it's a very difficult situation for the west. We want to stand up for for the the victim of of the aggression in in this case, Ukraine. But if we do so militarily, it would post very big risks to us. What do you think the timelines lightly to be? I mean, if they keep a lid on it for the next few days. Do you think it'll just go back to that state of uneasy tension?.

"Radium WFL WFL a now transmitting in south Tampa on one zero two point nine FM. It's well eleven or so after five a m and we're going to be joined by some other people later on today. But these are late sleepers, I guess who else coming out here. Oh, we got a bunch of people coming out today seems like it was all after eight o'clock though. Ronnie today, they're staying back at the studio. What a couple of wusses now. Right. I've been sitting here thinking man, they're really procrastinating. They're setting up last minute. I saw nothing for them. But I just thought they were they were gone out at last minute. I saw him in the kitchen. They were laughing about it. I can only imagine jeeze. Hey, the big story, and it gets bigger and bigger and bigger is what's happening down on the border, and the views tear gas, of course, and they're catching all kinds of hell for that. But it's been pointed out that about five years ago. Before President Trump's border officers blocked the migrants with tear-gas the authorities under. Let's see who was president. And I think it was a guy named Barack Obama used identical tactics along these same stretch of the border near the Santa sedro port of entry. And this is from the 2013 press accounts. In fact, it's from the San Diego union Tribune. And this was November twenty fifth twenty thirteen the incident occurred about a quarter mile west of the Santa seat row border crossing in the Tijuana river channel, no one was seriously injured. No shots were fired. No arrests were made according to a board. Retrial spokesman the group approached a loan agent about an eighth of a mile north of the border. They ignored his commands to stop. So he fired pepper spray to try and stop them and protect himself. And and that was just a group that he encountered these were people storming the border towards the board. All these people kept advancing and were throwing rocks and bottles and things like that. And so I mean, this kind of thing has happened before. But all of these Democrats were well, a little old patties rent a big wad because of the use of tear-gas down there. And why didn't they say anything about it when it was used by border agents under Barack Obama, wasn't it? A strange thing wasn't a sexy headline for them jacket and fit the narrative, not certainly didn't. But it's been used before. And it's like they are basically attacking our border when people attack you fight back at in. This case tear gas is the nicest thing to fight back with AR fifteen or machine guns or things like that aren't nice if I took a hundred of us one hundred buddies you Jack anybody, and we started throwing rocks. We went to the Canadian. The border and started throwing rocks over the border there. What do you think would happen to us? They'd say well, come on up here and spend some money. Yeah. But it is crazy. This is an invasion. It's going to cost Americans a ton of money if they end up crossing that border. We're going to be paying for them fully, and it's. We're going to get closer to being a Spanish speaking country. I mean, we're moving in that direction anyway. But this thing about the tear gas, the hypocrisy of this thing with the the mainstream media just looks so bad as a result of this. And again, we were talking yesterday about in fact, we've got we're gonna play it later on the audio of Clinton and Obama saying what a danger that border is when you allow people across it and how it has to be closed down remember Clinton. He was a democrat. That was an Obama. Yeah. That was in ninety five and Obama, and I think it was twenty thirteen. Yeah. But it's one thousand thirteen they said the same thing Neria headline in the pay for over twenty years ago. Bill Clinton said that and you think the problems have gotten better now. No. And but Neria headline in the papers or anything like that. And it really makes the mainstream media look as phony as they can be phone news. It's called anyway, let's check into.
