17 people shot this past weekend in Houston

"The city of Houston had 17 shootings over the weekend and already has 44 murders so far this year, Doug Griffith with the Houston police Officers union told Houston's morning news. HPD morale is getting worse. We're stretching. Very, very thin. And then when you have the courts, releasing these guys over and over and over, it just emboldens them. There's Mr Turner says the city will increase police presence in parts of town identified by crime data as hot spots.

"President of the Houston police officers union he's been very public on the fact that bad guys are being arrested in Harris County district attorney is not doing her job and these PC magistrates are putting these people back out on the streets too fast too easily Joe when you got the news that this Colin Armand has put the virus has given hundred fifty thousand dollar bond what was your reaction here Michael I've seen some really bad decisions in Harris County on the last couple years some really agree just decisions but this truly defies all logical thought you will have a dirt bag who was already out on multiple felony bond the police officer many goals out over one for true days where we have a man hard all over the city we send people out to Louisiana to try to find him this dirtbag dragon on Instagram slash your money and all the bonds that he's out or we finally catcher we finally get him into custody we dare you must sign a release and then we find out the PC or mac you straight had given him a hundred and fifty thousand dollar bond the Bruno bundle and if the court magistrate does not have the capability to give a nobody well then you put that decision to the District Court judge however this points out something that I talked about with you or at nausea Michael we need to abolish the PC magistrate system it means they are not accountable to anyone there just hired by commissioners court the district judges they're not unlike the we need to have a District Court judge sitting down there hearing all these decisions on call twenty four hours a day I mean I know they're elected official I don't want to do their job I get it get off your **** get down there and do your job and one other thing Michael I want to comment on thank god for Brett leg in a Montgomery County district attorney Brett leg he he worked at last night to make sure those bonds revoked on him so that he could not get out everyone talks about what can we do in Harris County Joe how can we help well I'll tell you how you can help we can start by taking these district attorney's office back to the people and I know exactly the person is gonna do it somebody who studied right on the right leg and I want everybody to remember his name if you're me say it right now Mary man Hoffman she is the Republican candidate for district attorney and I encourage everyone to support her that is the first step to take in this county back because Kim log screwed up again and only charge murder on this person there's dirt bag instead of capital murder keep in mind in case anybody forgot although I know Harris County has just gone off the deep end when you tell a police officer you should be charger capital murder do we know the status of where to Florence Henderson is right now he is currently still in custody thank god that he's not out to continue his reign of terror over this community hi this is first the one that he was out on the first time that he violated the conditions of no response which for beating his significant other kidnapping his significant other this is not a fine upstanding member of the community here he deserves to be behind bars believable my understanding is he he has a bond in Galveston county right now which they are revoking as well so that I guess what Montgomery County does he have a charge Montgomery County yes and they they revoked his bonds I mean listen this server lining Michael is that he's not getting out but I think this case is the perfect example of the revolving door criminal justice system that we have in Harris County we pick them up they get right back out and animation question but Montgomery County doesn't have a problem holder Galveston county don't have a problem all over him why is it that the third largest county in the nation cannot handle the criminal justice system and I'm telling you Michael I have never seen the disgust and anger from police officer has hired right now we all know if you kill a police officer you are going to be held you were going to stand trial and you're looking at that but apparently that's not the case anymore Harris County because we can give them a hundred fifty thousand dollar bond because the district judges can't be bothered to go sit down there and make sure to know Bonsall believable how did you find out who it was with somebody covering this did you get a call well you know we knew everyone was going to be keeping a close eye on this case but sure enough the media was just watch it I have to give them credit they broke the story and started letting everyone know yeah hundred fifty thousand dollar bond he is he it was unbelievable I couldn't even believe it of course my full blew up as people started hearing this this PC court magistrate needs to resign immediately for not kicking as to a district judge to make this decision or commissioners court needs to take action and completely abolish the PC court magistrate system we need district judges down there that are accountable to the people and here's another thing let's start printing these judges name on the bottom of these bond forms no more a doctor's prescription note on the bottom that we can't read the signatures we believe in transparency just like our officers where their name tags proudly for everyone to see in case our officers screws up were able to get that name well let's make sure we know exactly who the judges let's start printing all the names on all these documents so that we can read and everybody in Harris County can know which judges during which I went to Colin Amman's Facebook page the guy who saw fit to issue a hundred fifty thousand dollar bond a guy who's just killed a police officer and then fled we had to chase this guy that I mean this was this guy's as high a flight risk is you can get in one of his posts is a picture of Roseanne Barr and says this is Roseanne Barr grabbing her crotch and spitting on the ground after purposefully butchering the national anthem she is now a hero to trump and his followers but silently kneeling in protest for civil rights as a great crime to them hypocrites and that was which he had taken from the occupied Democrats what a real nice guy what a rela what a slap in the face two police officers that two officers killed just a few days apart in here's a guy who saw fit I mean if this guy had gotten I can't imagine the outcry if this guy had actually managed to get out and walk free and then went on to run again because you know that's what you do Michael it would it would have been a complete meltdown here as we would have had to garner right back to trying to track this guy down thank you and make no mistake I mean this wasn't an easy find occurs in just flip over one rock and for it to be and here's a guy who's already murdered a police officer already got on the run out on multiple bond and joked about it on Instagram about how much you joke the criminal justice system is and you're gonna give him another box I mean if the file all logic I don't care if you're a lawyer judge I don't care what you do radio talk show host anybody could look at this guy's rap sheet look at the facts and understand that he needs to be held on nobody and if you're not smart enough to kick that to the district judge for them to make the decision or if you're not smart enough your mom's taste in in case they are charged capital murder get out of the way and let somebody who actually cares about the community get the job while you've called on Colin Amman to resign you stand by that absolutely I stand by it and if he's not willing to resigning commissioners Corning take action get rid of them what what are we doing here we just can't continue to allow these decisions to be made with absolutely no consequences damn sure of one of our officers screwed up.

"Just before went on the air yesterday evening for this show. We got the news five officers had been shot turns out it was four officers shot and one of them injured in the melee. This morning. We spoke to the head of the Houston. Police officers union because he made a rather strong statement at the press conference yesterday evening, he made a statement on behalf of police officers. And this was the statement that came from the Houston police officers union president. But now I want to speak on behalf of the fifty two hundred brave men and women of the Houston police department and the other eight hundred thousand police officers that are working these streets every single day putting their lives on the line. We are sick and tired of having targets on our back. We are sick and tired of having dirtbags trying to take our lives. When all we're trying to do is protect his community and protect our families enough is enough. And if you're the ones that are out there spreading the rhetoric that police officers are the enemy will just know. We've all got your number. Now, we're going to be keeping track all the all. And we're gonna make sure that we hold you accountable. Every time you stir the pot on our police officers. We've had enough folks out there doing our jobs. Every day. Putting our lives on the line for our families enough is enough please keep these officers in your prayers that is job moldy. He was our guest during the first hour of our program this morning sharing. Some of his thoughts about how difficult it is for police officers to do their jobs the jobs, we as a community commissioned them to do to protect the week to enforce the laws that are duly elected representatives have passed and how a lot of the commentary out there. Is detrimental to their ability to do that. That interview we will replay in one hour, and I think police officers if you have a law enforcement member if you have a law enforcement officer in your family, I think some of you will will want to gather round, the radio FDR style. And listen to what he had to say because the speaks for a lot of members of law enforcement who cannot speak publicly that will be in one hour, a quick update of those five officers the officer who was injured messed up, his knee and his leg in the middle of all that he has undergone surgery. He's in very good spirits. Here's expected to be released in the next two days. Two of the officers that were shot have already been released. One was released last night. He was shot to the shoulder. Another who was shot in the neck was released a little over an hour ago here in Houston. Two other officers who were severely injured when they were shot in the face and neck one of them shot through his. Chin that that bullet shattered there and continued on those two officers are in critical condition, but they are stable. They are expected to survive their wounds, but. They have a long journey over covering ahead of them. And we'll keep you informed as as updates continue the two shooters the two suspects one point. It was believed there were up to five or as many as ours. Fears one there were two individuals who were who are accused of having been black tar heroin dealers middle of a neighborhood. That's who these officers were attempting to arrest. Those two individuals were killed in the exchange. It was a white male and a white female. I believe both of them in their fifties. So if you're a black activist or an illegal alien activists, you can just calm down. We can actually talk about too bad people who tried to kill cops who were enforcing the law. According to the warrant that had been issued. We could actually have a reasonable discussion because the individuals happen to be white. The big news in politics involves a potential entrant into the campaign field. You know, the media's going to try to tell you that there's going to be a challenge to Donald Trump in the primary now mind you were talking about a year from now, however, people are interested in this. The media creates a lot of interest in this. And it's so much more interesting and accessible to many people that actually talking about the policies that would be enacted. Once you get elected in the first place. It's a beauty pageant. It's a sporting event people love it. So here goes Donald Trump if he runs and a president a one term president almost always does Lyndon Johnson is the most noteworthy example of an individual now. Of course, he assumed the unexpired portion of president Kennedy's term when president Kennedy was assassinated he served out his four years as president and chose not to run for reelection. In nineteen sixty eight Eugene McCarthy was breathing down his neck. There was a field of candidates threatening to run, and I think LBJ just ran out of gas. He he was tired. He would retire to his ranch in central Texas and his health would fail him, and he would ride out into the good night. But by and large the president's going to seek reelection. Donald Trump's not a young man when he does seek reelection. He wins the nomination. He wins the primary of his party. There won't be a serious candidate who will challenge him. And so the Democrats have to field a candidate in November of next year. With a fighting chance to defeat him. Their field of candidates is flawed at best. Kamala Harris announcing as only she can do, but this is the extension of ObamaCare this she wants Medicare for all. And she made the statement just do away with private insurance single payer. The thing that was threatened by conservatives that this was where the road of ObamaCare lead you this was the natural conclusion. This is the dreadful awful natural conclusion if you think Obamacare's bad for what it takes away for what it ruins for the instability inefficiency ineffectiveness and lower quality of healthcare. Just wait until you put Abam care on steroids, which is single payer, which is what they wanted all along Jonathan Gruber said that Obama said that in private this is what they wanted all along. Kamala Harris is going to be the candidate is going to carry that flag. And she's a good candidate for the Democrats. I hear Republicans. Tell me somebody told me this earlier today. Kamala Harris is terrible. Candidate a terrible. Cal for you. She's not a terrible candidate for the Democrats. Elizabeth Warren horrible candidate. She's not a horrible candidate for the Democrats mind. You Bernie Sanders was within a whisker of winning the nomination to be the democrat candidate facing off against Donald Trump in two thousand sixteen they their primary is the domain of the whack job. That's what they're going to do. But what's really interesting is that Howard Schultz who is a democrat who is believed to be able to pull an H Ross Perot way what he did to Republicans in nineteen Ninety-two handing Bill Clinton the presidency. Howard Schultz is flirting with a presidential candidacy,.

"I don't like to report on news. I don't like to break news because it's only as good as the sources often wrong. So. Take that with a grain of salt and understand. There are those who will make statements as to the status of the shooter's. Whether the suspects were gang members, illegal aliens or both or any number of other things. Keep your powder dry truth matters at a time like this don't speculate as to who the individuals will be this is such a horrific crime. It'll still be horrific tomorrow. When the sun rises will have more details in a better understanding, there is no reason to try to get out there. And make a statement before the news comes in. I wish other people would follow that so rules number of officers are at the hospital tonight with those families the Houston police officers union leadership joke them all and the guys are at the hospital now to be with the families. It's at a time like this that really the police officers union at least for the Houston. Police department is the one that kind of takes over and starts doing the outreach the families getting family members in town getting them calling the airlines getting the families in I've watched them work. And it is a beautiful thing. It's terrible circumstances. But thank goodness there. There. The one hundred club is an organization. I encourage you to support in Houston because if an officer dies. They bring the immediate funds to pay for a funeral. I hope that won't be needed today. Assist. The officer is an organization of an officer doesn't die but is wounded, and we'll have medical expenses an a number of costs to get back on their feet, literally figuratively. But the police officers union has the relationships and the experience to immediately set up camp and start going to work to assist those families and everything that's necessary to get them there with their loved ones to get proper care and to do all the things that need to be done. So if if we get an update before the end of the hour, you'll have it, and if not you can follow him on Twitter feed outpost that shortly posted as soon as I have a verified update there several stories, but I I can't tell which one is true. So I'm not gonna comment at this point. There's footage that emerged. That is entitled new recently discovered. Footage from nineteen Eighty-eight reveals a shirtless Bernie Sanders with his wife Jane on their honeymoon in the USSR Soviet Union. Drunkenly singing this land is your land with a group of supposed Soviets. They're sitting around a big long table, lots of booze on the table. And Bernie Sanders is thirty one years ago. Doesn't have his shirt on. There are several others in the group that also don't have their shorter. It's odd the Bernie Sanders honeymooned in the Soviet Union. But it's Bernie Sanders. What's interesting is this didn't come out during the two thousand sixteen election. The primary which means this didn't come out from Hillary Clinton who by the way over the weekend. Said, hey, I might still run to I know y'all are paying attention to Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris and all these others. I might do. I might run a third time. That would be oh, eight sixteen and in twenty. I don't believe she will run. I think our day has passed. I think the party doesn't want her. So why would she do this because Hillary needs campaign funds to be able to jet around the world? The Clinton foundation is not providing the income at once did because she's not secretary of state so foreign despots that we don't even recognize are no longer willing to put money into the Clinton foundation. Even if Bill did come and give speech and she did cut them favors, which I don't know if she did that's certainly been alleged. But wow, was there ever a lot of money raised from that little racket that was quite the hustle. They had going for awhile him, the former president as head of the foundation, a nonprofit status supposedly engaged in humanitarian efforts to deal with aids in Africa and recovery efforts in Haiti oh, did they plunder and steal. I don't know her at the State Department with the ability to help foreign governments foreign governments that owned companies couldn't do business. Here that were forbidden from doing business here that were forbidden from lobbying here that wanted American assistance in their in their businesses slashed their countries slash their own personal purses. Oh, it was quite the racket. But this wasn't a Hillary thing on Bernie. There's somebody in the democrat primary. They're going after each other..
