Reds, Pirates games postponed as Cincinnati player tests positive for COVID-19

"This is sports talk later for Lance Encounters for 700 wlw. By the way. Hope you had a great weekend. As of right now, we are expecting the Reds to take on the Kansas City Royals tomorrow night. In Kansas City. That'll be an 805 1st pitch. We go on the air, with the Arnell carriers inside pitch at 705 Luis Castillo is said to get the ball against Brad Keller. Trevor Bauer is now scheduled to pitch on Wednesday, followed up by Sonny Gray. In the first game of a four game series against the Cardinals in ST Louis on Thursday, this after the weekend that was lost after Friday night raids beat the Pittsburgh Pirates and then a couple of hours after the game. We find out that a player tested positive. For covert 19. Saturday's game postponed Sunday's game postponed Ah, couple of things worth pointing out here. Seafront Rosecrans, who, by the way, covers the Reds for the athletic And doesn't awesome job. I've tweeted out a link to a piece that I think will guide you through everything happening with this team right now. But since Saturday, every Reds player has tested at least three times. The players were tested. Saturday, Sunday morning and this morning. Pittsburgh Pirates. Players were also tested in Cincinnati before they flew to Pittsburgh last night. Um As of now. Based on reporting from a couple of it from people who are close to this. There's only been one positive test on the Reds, and it was the player who found out that he was testing positive work over 19 on Friday night. That player has since tested positive again. But as of now and again, there's the latest round of testing results that they have to get. No other Reds player has tested positive. The Reds have yet to fly to Kansas City. They are supposed to fly to Casey tomorrow if they're cleared to play. The player who tested positive would have to be placed on the injured list. Somebody's going to have to be brought up to take his place. The The Pirates will be here in mid September, September 14th to the 16th so there is ample time to make up. Two games They missed right now. The Reds have 40 games remaining. There are 41 days between now and September, the 27th which is the end of the regular season, and so obviously they're not playing today They're going to play 40 games and 40 days to get to 60. They already have a double header scheduled Against the Cubs next weekend. But there is not only a Pittsburgh trip to Cincinnati, but the Reds also going PNC Park and so you can make up one of the games there if you have to. But as of now, The plan is to play. Tomorrow night against the Royals. Again. All of this is very, very fluid. As we've seen with the Cardinals as we've seen with the Miami Marlins, the good news is again. After the one player tested positive with that result being released. On Friday. Reportedly. No other Reds player has subsequently tested positive and also know Pittsburgh Pirates player As of right now 6 26 on Monday night, no other Pirates player Has tested positive. So there you go, Uh 513749 7800 The big £1.700 free call AT and T. Jerry is calling from Claremont County. Hi, Jerry. Jerry. Hope something happens. Jerry. Your wine? Yeah, sure. Go. Oh, well. A little question here if one Holding him and nobody there. Miles is okay. But they prayed about because they have to get tests back from the other players to ensure that there not also testing positive. Woman get their pink. Ooh, they did that. And so there are awaiting the latest the Siri's of results and they hope to play tomorrow. The Pirates also hope to play tomorrow. Yeah, this time, noting the Reds go to Kansas City before they do that they need to get to clear And for that to happen, they want to ensure there is no other players testing positive. Your city's okay. Well, yeah. I mean, the players are routinely testing positive testing, which is why we found out that a player tested positive on Friday night. Yes. Okay. Okay. Is that all right with you? Yeah. No. There was just a bad weekend without baseball. Yeah, Wass, I I don't I can't disagree with that. Ana would do anything about it. I wanna thank you very much. Thank you. Ok, thanks. Have a good evening. You you you do the same. The Miami Marlins. You may recall after the first weekend of the year they were in Philadelphia, and then again, they had a game scheduled against the Phillies. And on Sunday morning. They found out that a number of players on that team had tested positive for Cove in 19 And instead of baseball, swooping in and stopping the Marlins from playing. Instead, the players were allowed to vote. Whether or not they play now, I'm not sure why that would ever be the case. But that's that was the plan. That was the plan baseball let the Miami Marlins players vote via text by the way. On whether or not they want to play. They did play the game that day in Philadelphia, and then As it turned out that they had close to 20 members of their traveling party. The majority were players, obviously not all of them. The majority of players that a bunch of guys in there traveling party test positive for cocaine, 19 And then it took them forever to get back on the field where baseball is trying to do. Is prevented outbreak now. It is worth wondering. This. Today is the 17th of August regular season baseball ends on September the 27th. Obviously, everybody has off days built in, so there's time if you've got to miss a couple of days. What I do kind of wonder, though. Well, I think baseball has done the right thing here and frankly, I think they did the right thing with the ST Louis Cardinals. October. When we have 16 teams in the playoffs. And we're trying to squeeze a lot of Siri's in a very tight window. And ensure that the season the post season is over before we really get to cold weather in November. What's gonna happen when we have a situation with the team in the playoffs like the one that popped up for the Reds on Friday night? Positive test and now we're not going to play for a couple of days. Not playing for a couple of days in the regular season is really not that big a deal. Not playing for a couple of days in the postseason. Could have a significant short and long term impact. More on that coming up in the seven o'clock hour at Mohagher, 15. 30 is by how you can hit me up on Twitter. One of the best players in college football is has started a petition. To try to get the big tend to play this fall. I want to know if the big 10 is gonna listen to him. I want to know if you're going to listen to him. We'll do that coming up at 6 45 but first no preseason for the Bengals this August. Which part of me is enjoying Part of me doesn't like Part of me feels for Zach Taylor. We'll do that after the 6 30 news this is sports talk Mohagher for Lance McCallister on a Monday night on 700 wlw. News, Traffic and Weather

"Sunday, July 20th 2020 And although the day seem to be moving slowly, the calendar is certainly below in rate by big week in the return for sports MLB yes, Major League baseball at one time was thought to never Ever be able to come back because of conversations between the MLB in the MLB Papa, they get a deal done very publicly discussing wise, but they get a deal done. They are back on Thursday. MLB returns this season on Thursday, which should be good for everybody Good for sports. Good for gambling. Our friend Ty Schmidt, who is a die hard baseball fan. Will be giving us some locks as the week rolls on. Also big week in sports. The NFL on the NFLPA are starting their conversations to get back into action. Now there are teams that are supposed to report today the Chiefs and the Texans and their two of three teams who have okayed and gave the go ahead to the NFL's infectious disease Emergency response plan. Oh, you're pretty good about that narrowed it there. Two of three teams that have said yes to the emergency Infectious disease Emergency response plan, Although that was a big talking point this weekend by all of the players what I have said since the beginning. Is that the NFL will have a season and then I had to double down on that until myself, no matter what no matter how ugly it gets, no matter how much it feels as if there will not be a season because the NFL in the NFLPA can't get along. There will be a season at the end of the day. And I have to remember that I've been telling myself that now for, like, 23 weeks, and I've been saying that strictly because if we all take a little trip back in time to when the MLB in the M O b p a. We're talking There was zero chance of them getting a deal done. Even the people that were in baseball, the baseball insiders. They were like we have been way past the 11th hour here. It's only getting worse. And worse and worse. There's a new CBS coming, They might not play. We're getting a bit pessimistic. They still have some time but not much, And then we got past the amount of time they thought they had. And they still got it done. And that was the MLB and MLB was much different than the N B, A or the MLS or anybody else That's playing because they aren't doing it in a bubble theyare traveling around so the MLB Rob Manford, who we've all seen performed before, as a commissioner, and we all agree he probably is the worst of the power sports commissioner Wise. He was able to figure out a way to get governors to allow stadiums to be open Mayors. Traveling. Bennett was able to get the MLB Players Association, which was at odds with him to agree to a return to play set up and they're coming back on Thursday. They've been in spring training. Everybody is getting along well in their stadiums, except for the Toronto Bluejays because Toronto actually kicked them out of Canada said No teams are traveling in and out just to play you guys. You guys think of baseball. You could go play at another stinky baseball town, Pittsburgh's PNC Park if you want, and by the end of this thing, you go ahead and put the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Toronto Blue Jays wings together and I'm still not certain that team combined that's playing a PNC Park will be able to make the playoffs. But That is why I believe that the NFL will be able to get it done. But this weekend, the players were loud Hashtag we want to play rang loudly from every player's cellphone from around the country, and it wasn't just random players. These were the star players. Now. It is said that Byron Jones was the one that instituted the Tweet storm from the Miami Dolphins. The cornerback. But I do believe the hashtag. We want to play mantra, just like the MLB players that kept saying, Tell us when and where all started from J. J. Watt, who saw the way the CBO negotiations went a couple months ago who saw the way the MLB in the MLB P a conversation and I do believe, watches his show Every one. Simone heard us talk about how the players in the NFL need to explain their positioning a little bit more as opposed to just saying No So, J. J. Watt has said numerous times just so. Nobody's on the same page. This is how we play. His first in the last notes are always we want to play. But there's a lot of questions that you, Khun see that we would have especially coming out of this world Wide pandemic where information she seems to be changing every single day. And there's been a lot of questions about how the NFL has had months on Wass to figure this out. But if we really think back a month from now Ago. Not from now. You can't think back from now on. I guess you can't know that I was right 100 cent right now, just like the infectious disease emergency response. But if you think back one must think about what we thought we knew, then first what we know now versus what were travel restrictions, then versus water travel restrictions. Now there's some cities that are going back to exactly where they were a month ago. But with this thing we have no idea because it's unprecedented time. We all knew it was going to come down to the 11th hour for to get this deal done. We aren't there yet, except for for two teams, which is chiefs and Texans to go back to return, and they got something done. So let's just assume that the NFL no matter how many players tweet hashtag, we want to play for the NFL to be safe, and I respect that sentiment. Because we all would want to feel that way. If we're going back to work for sure, especially when us being No, I don't want us because that lumps me in with Them which I was at one point. But even when I was my body was nowhere near that camp when I was a Honda accord in a garage filled with Ah, Lamborghinis, and you know what I mean, Couple big trucks in there as well. I was just a Honda Civic getting from a to B. You don't mean doing what I gotta do. But every once in a while underneath that civic sword with Papa Rocket launcher, and then it would go back in and I go sit on the sideline. But when you're talking about guys who have to be at their peak body performance, you can see how they could potentially worry about a viral disease, potentially affecting their play their health, their families and all that, But I think at the end of the day they will get it done because not only do they want to play the owners That could potentially lose out on hundreds hundreds of millions of dollars. They want them to play as well. The on ly owner that you have come out and heard setting like a chance. There's no league is the guy who has no money on that would be Mr Davis out there for the Las Vegas Raiders. He just bought a massive stadium in Las Vegas had to make a big move. But it is no secret that they are strapped for cash a little bit over there. How did you write A couple players do do it. Now they have to build a new Ah new stadium moving to a new city. There's a lot of that. So whatever Mark Davis says, Hey, canceling 20. NFL season is a real possibility. This is you there just for negotiation wise to get a deal done or it's because he's saying Hey, we ain't even got corn dogs. Jackie Way don't have seasons. We'll talk about all that throughout today's show. We've got two NFL guess.

"Park trails only Monterrey Mexico highest elevation that's been played at this season. Right handed batters at the Tokyo dome. Only played two games there. And then left in it better it chorus field. So left, these are having a plethora of success at PNC park this year. Traditionally one of the best pitchers parks in baseball, not this year at all. So we definitely have to make some adjustments here to PNC park. And in particular when lineups full of left handed batters get there. Sess down in the steel city so far this year angels stadium one. Oh, wait. So hitters are averaging eight percent better. Then a league everage park at angel stadium. Not used to seeing note all the wall has been lowered in right field whereas Mike trout part of the equation here as well, but still very interesting very eye-opening stat there. And then Philadelphia's citizens Bank park one oh, seven so seven percent better than the average park Miami at seventy eight. Now, of course, even mind that a lot of this is predicated as well in the home team, you have your good offense at home. You're going to run these numbers up a little bit. You're bad offense at home. These numbers are going to be lower like Miami at seventy eight. San Francisco at eighty San Diego at eighty seven Oakland at eighty eight the as of not hit it all this season. Neither neither of opposing teams. So that's something you wanna factor in your handicapping. We'll get some unders and things of that sort out there and again, three ballparks on the west coast in the bottom for here in terms of this team. Oh, PS plus park factor. How about Yankee Stadium ten percent lower than your league average park left INA. "To get the notes for the show. Single look down the line segments of moves here. Dating back to Tuesday. We saw some her mind, Marquez money on the Rockies at PNC park against Chris Archer and the pirates that line opened in the pick branch went up came back down. Lots of late buybacks still out there in the marketplace, arbitrage going on in the baseball bedding world. So that fade yoga zealous on Tuesday, as I think, more about it. A lot of that has to do with the fact that Christian yelich wasn't in the lineup for the brewers. That's probably why that line did move. But also, I don't think there will be a lot of supporters for jobs, zealous out there in the marketplace given the last two years that he's had. I was a big time aggression kit at, then all that regression hit. I actually like him. I'm kind of a believer and again, he's throwing a lot of curveball changeup stuff. So if you find lineups that struggle with curb balls struggle with off speed and breaking balls than Joe Gonzales, going to be very good fit against those types of teams. So I probably will be trying to dig into that. A lot more here as we go forward and trying to turn this thing around for this season so many come in against Trevor Bauer in the Indians. That was Chris Bassett and the as their Bassett than not pitch. Well forward and pitch all that. Well either, but the as didn't come away with that victory. So a pretty big fan of Lance Lynn against the Mariners and Tommy Malone. I don't really get it. And in fact, I'm buying stock in Lance Lynn. Lance Lynn is having a pretty decent season here. But he's got reversible platoon splits, which is the exception, it's far from the norm for him. Lance Lynn is a guy throughout his career that has absolutely dominated right handed batters this year, righties or hitting him better than lefties. And I think that's just some sample size noise variance early on in the season here. Now, I don't know if his gains against lefties are going to stick around, but I do expect him to get better against righties. So I think Lance Lynn is actually a bike candidate right now he was one on Tuesday for me. Me we cast a winner there with that, but the reverse platoon sports again, the exception, not the norm should get better righties as the season goes along. Wednesday was a fairly quiet day for wine, moves not a whole lot of significance. We saw some max Scherzer, money early against the Mets and Jacob degrom and ERA fifth and exit move there on shirts. Or also the Mets with a bunch of lineup injuries now and as I mentioned a heavy line move against the Mets here today with Stephen Strasburg on the mound. No Robinson canot. No. Brandon nimmo. They're just really banged up. Is a strange situation right now for the Mets overall money on max freed on Wednesday..

Optimism over progress in the US China trade talks boosted the Dow industrials two hundred eleven points. Adding to the Dallas quarterly gain of eleven point two percent. It was the best first quarter opening to a year for the standard and Poor's five hundred index since nineteen. Ninety eight with a thirteen point one percent advance. And the NASDAQ sixteen and a half percent quarterly performance was its best quarter in seven years. Investors are now looking ahead with some trepidation to earning season kicks off in about two weeks. It's expected corporate profits compared to the same quarter one year ago declined for the first time since two thousand sixteen if that were to occur then valuations for stocks compared to their earnings would be difficult to support. And we could see increase volatility over the second quarter that said higher quality stocks with strong margins will be the investments of choice along with increased cash positions to take advantage of pullbacks in the markets when they occur. The pitching preview we're going to go around the league, we're gonna look at other bonobo making his start a little out of order after missing the last one was some personal issues. But right away. I wanted to talk to you, Jack. We've got the lineup out today. We've got a lot of the young guys playing at the time of year. The pirates aren't exactly in the race not fighting for a playoff spot. We're looking at a lot of guys. What they wanna see from them right now. Correct. We are. But first, let me say welcome. The first time we've worked together. I know you're a producer on the afternoon show morning show when afternoon show, right Tony and Muller now. So now, you know now you're here with me. And I'm I'm very excited to be with you. Thank you. I'm looking forward to it. Nice to be with you. Yeah. I think what happens is you have to have a lot of coordination between the general manager and a manager. Understanding what your philosophy is understanding what you want to accomplish during this month when you are out of the race, and you are playing clubs that are not in it like this club Kansas City coming up the other day Cincinnati. And then Cincinnati again, there's that unwritten rule in baseball where when you're playing somebody that's independent race. Like the cardinals like Milwaukee that you got to run your best line about there because it's fair to the other clubs in a division or in the race that are fighting for it. Fighting to get into the playoffs and you as a professional baseball that courtesy you know, to to to play your best club. Now, you can play a guy or two here or there. But typically household changes against clubs that are in it. You're not gonna do now. So today you look at your lineup and you do have race in the game. You gotta sooner game Newman. Stallings? This is the loop low. This is the chance these guys have to play this game. Doesn't mean much to Pittsburgh, it doesn't mean much to. Miami. But it means a lot to the organization in terms of. Let's see these guys under a major league spotlight. Let's see what they are how they react. And I say this a lot Gregory lot depends. Let me look at the numbers, and you can watch guys do different things. But until you are in the dugout with a player that's in a major league baseball game. And you as a manager are looking in his eyes and see his heartbeat and see what he's all about. You really don't know what you have. So that's what a lot of September is all about. So you want to see these guys get in the lineup from the GM perspective. Jackson, the former GM that's what we're getting here. I'm sure you communicate during the season with your manager about certain guys playing at certain times, not dictating the entire lineup card, but does that increase come this time of year when you're in this situation, are you there a little bit more telling him more? So like, I need to see this guy 'cause you're evaluating it clearly can do that. Okay. You're the general manager to manager works for the GM. So no matter how you shake it. And there are different scenarios in baseball. Where typically my my understanding of my my experiences bended managers want to win every game. I mean, that's what they wanna do. I mean, that's what they get paid to do. And so two GM's, but the GM has to have a bigger picture his view is of not only this year, but next year, and, you know, looking at these guys that we've heard a lot about that we've raised and if your managers on board that makes it easy, you know, Sarah times when you have to you have to tell your manager. Look, this is the way it's going to be this is what we want to see, you know, and I. Need to see this because managers understand this. You know, now, it is scenario here where we're both managers have three year contracts after this year, it makes it a lot easier on both of them. Because that winter that one winter that one loss or something doesn't mean a lot. But if you're a manager who doesn't have a contract, and you're you're you're managing or GM that doesn't have a contract, and you're doing your work with that in mind, you've got to win games that makes a different scenario. So let's take a look at these lines. We've been talking about today. Starting lineup is brought to you by the Rogers insurance group the power of relationship the pirates. We said there are young is playing you got Adam Frazier starting at second base Marta hitting second in center. Jordan loop low hitting third in left field. Josh bell had that homerun last night hitting cleanup tonight. Now, the bottom of the line of is where we really see these guys Jose Osuna at third Pablo race in right field. And then the bottom your line of Kevin Newman at short Jacob Stalin's. Catching in Nova on the mound for the Marlins Miguel row hostage. Shortstops starting Castro. Second Brian Anderson third. Lewis Brinson Austin dean, Peter O'Brien, your five six seven at the bottom line up. Brian holiday Magnus Sierra, and we Chen on the mound. When we come back on the Pasco preview show. We are going to hear from Clint hurdle last night. Clint hurdle. Little under the weather today. The weather not great for any of us. Jack is we're dealing with that keeping an eye on it for today. Today's weather report, we have rain pretty much all day long high of sixty eight degrees. So we'll be dealing with that possible delays. We'll see if we get through this game. The weather is brought to you by weather, CO windows, siding roofing and sun rooms, and when we come back on the Pasco preview show, we'll hear from Clint hurdles he spoke after last night's five three five three win over the Marlins here on NewsRadio ten twenty Katie k Larry and John discuss news. I think when you get to work or wherever you're going, and you can gauge your co workers in a conversation because now, you know, what's going on. When they bring up the subject is really important out. They're looking at every morsel of news is coming in in the morning and calling it down to what you really.

"Reds, lose today to the Pittsburgh Pirates, on Labor Day five to one at PNC park I like to say. Beautiful PNC park it is gorgeous it really is and it is, beautiful city you come out. Of the fort Pitt tunnel at night Is there. A more gorgeous sight, in, all of. America I haven't. Seen it seriously, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania the reds lose. Five to one Cincinnati one run seven hits one error Pittsburgh. Five runs nine hits one error in the two. Hitting stars for the pirates Adam Frazier in Gregory Polanco Frazier they couldn't get him out four for four triple shorter the cycle four. For four with, a home run two singles and a, double two runs scored three. R d is a solo Homer in the first and then, a two run single in the seventh Gregory Polanco. When the score was one nothing in the, sixth inning he goes deep with Adam Frazier on board Frazier at singled and then Gregory Polanco goes deep to right field. All of a sudden three to nothing in like mardi said on the broadcast the hall of Famer, that was critical homerun because. What one run you can overcome three the way Pittsburgh? Was pitching in the way the, reds. Were hitting just couldn't get the key. Hit couldn't, get enough of them In the rich lose today five to one let's go out to the phones Tom in Milford. Tom happy Labor Day brother Long, it's been awhile, good, to hear your voice I mean I. You know I mean I think it's well documented, I think your guy that called, in? Before me, you're hitting on all the pieces right I mean if you look at the, look at the way. This pitching staff set up it's not built within I think Bailey may. Be the only rich richer. And you can. You we know what that value we. Develop pitchers you gotta. Turn growers in the pitcher there's a big, difference you can throw a hundred miles. An hour but guess what doesn't break doesn't move that's what. You're gonna, have you're gonna lose five to, nothing I. Mean God is gonna hit home, months professional hitters you, need, to have. Professional pitchers not just for hours no no doubt and I just keep going back to Robert Stevenson. Saying that walks, are a part of his game oh my goodness. Get rid of a man if their every game I think he's a microcosm of of of what's going on the minor league system in the red red pepper figure out and. Maybe they haven't. Figured out who they are Oakland, Athletics you've. Got it develop you can't afford to buy players you develop your players unfortunately once they get great. You, sell them, and then you've got to rebuild them again Oakland. Staff does this all the time but guess what they find the diamonds in the walk they know the that can ballpark eight develop them and bring them up these pitchers I don't, think any of them outside of, Bailey's red they traded. For, all the ten ten, pitchers it they have traded I mean we got him. By, giving rid of Guido's getting rid of, getting rid of? All these people making have lightning in. A bottle may we get right on one of them well Bonnie yet. It's time AOL Time it's just the consistency in. The production that's when you become a pitcher you know how. To get out of a jam one. Bad air doesn't take you off the rails guy Sal, was definitely drafted by the reds, but you're right. A whole bunch. Of these, guys came from other organizations no doubt and so they're going to have to really dig in that ballpark is not an easy. Place to play in your right I was? Going, to say. That before On the on. The broadcast I mean you've gotta have ground balls nap, ballpark you don't want the ball in the air because guess what barely. Hit the ball you can get it out of that ball. Partner exactly guys I talked to Tommy Just fans that I talk with they get so frustrated because the reds are only half there's. Only like, pockets of when you can be, good. Like you mentioned guys get good they get expensive they get? Traded and yet there's. Just little windows and hopefully this hopefully there's a. Window. In, two thousand nineteen brother Be interesting. They've got, a lot of holes to fill and just, before this dog I said I think there's more questions than they. Had all gone into this because they thought some. Of these pictures are, gonna, play themselves into the starting rotation or be, pictures in. The rotation and they inhabit and the. Question still Harvey I mean I think they were wanting to. Training enough but they don't really. Have a guy that could be an age maybe he. Is and he's kind of leveled off and so you. Know I it's going to be. An inch and, yeah I don't, I don't know if it's an attitude I don't know if it's a philosophy Riggleman got in there Remember his name now the coach he was calling every ball and strike I don't know if they're still doing that or, not or I don't know if you know. If you, know catchers doing that for the regiment I, used to frustrate me the players make the make the you know. Where the pitch needs to be I don't think. That called me making, the, sideline I find it hard to understand you, don't putting. Any any conflict in your work that. You're when you're doing that Tommy you've already forgotten Brian price Yes Outta, mind I. Guess but I, mean the reds are in a in a difficult thing because the Bengals are coming on FC, Cincinnati taking a whole lot of, the the excitement and people in the generations that are missing the reds in the last ten, years you may never get that generation back at the sad situation and in that. Regard and, I I know Castellini wants to fix. It but I think you have to really root down in your single a and AA and really get can make a. Difference it can really coach up these guys and develop professional athletes coming. In I just don't sit at the. Cardinals they keep bringing guys in every every one one one month or. Two somebody goes. Down they bring another guy AAA and they put him in like in changeable, part and they could just keep rolling of twenty two day at the the best record in the major leagues in the month of August with twenty two. Wins twelve of the winds came from rookies. Twelve so Believable They get a bit more money in, that but you, know it's kinda like same. Thing we want to be like. That, well we've got to do a whole lot to get there and you, know just thinking of next year is going to be. Better and with the same, guy just kind of like the definition of. Insanity you, know you keep doing the same thing over and over and. Expected therefore. Result I, mean sometimes you need to step back and look at yourself so Even though football season's here man I love postseason. Baseball This league going down to the wire with the with. The wildcard and everything else, is, going to be awesome I think, it, is I, mean you're absolutely right and unfortunately, gonna be seeing it from a distance sideline but you know hopefully you. Know Bengals have kind of my heart but certainly the reds have been there been here since that long time I just I know. Everybody wants to do the right thing like think tough decisions have to be made and need to, step, down we've just made it, to blow this up. And just really get after instead of. Kind of, like well kind of taint Brennan thinking you could fix it. Just one one piece at a time Tommy you you're ready to run through a wall with snot bubbles brother I absolutely man and ready to go man Fired up man good man I appreciate. The call you are a true chick magnet Roland you better believe it Tommy in Milford, gosh oh one of my favorites along with Mike and fair food who's on hold and he's going to have to. Wait just a little bit longer because we've, reached the, bottom of the hour break you're listening to. The Tri state Chevy. Dealers extra innings show. The reds lose to the. Pirates today five to. "The. Pirates and the cubs dominated, by pitching not, a lot of scoring especially for Chicago. But the pirates get the, last laugh, Adam Frazier, with, a huge, big swing, a big fly a game ending home run in the eleventh inning on Sunday and the pirates beat the cubs for. A split of their four game. Series so that was kind of cool and you know what they. Do after a win at. PNC park they raise the jolly

"Matching the new york mets themselves not the kind of season they'd been hoping for their outlook not as good as the pittsburgh pirates good news for them noone's running away with the national league central ember that looking in the studio baseball tonight at espn radio presented by apec building products engineered to lashed beautifully threegame series this weekend for the mets in the pirates nowhere sender guard hey return for the new york mets on friday night anyways scholar last evening in juba cut kid started the swing the bat a home run and an rbi single pirates walk off with a win in ten innings out the previous internet baseball the pnc park in pittsburgh the two men have to call once at crystal here's john shopping thanks very much as the pirates of vets wrap up this threegame series sunday night baseball the turned into a nice little humid with rain was forecast and right now we got some overheads things look good as far as this match up his concern of the guys will be focused on met harvey he starts against tyler glass now the mets if they're going to make a push they're going to need of better met harvey because it's been pretty consists that harvey bogus he's the focus of tonight's match up when you look at two teams that are below five hundred at this point don't look like they're going to be headed to postseason play unless things significantly turnaround we do keep our eyes on that harvey because how polarizing of a pitcher he's been when he's been good and then when he struggle they're still always a story surrounding him but here's the good thing last couple of starts it looks like he's coming around a little bit even though he hasn't face rocard offenses but he's building some confidence after that suspension and perhaps tonight if he can keep the walk rate down especially the lefties he could have some success in pitch deeper the ball game and that's one thing the terry collins needs him to do when he needs to do for.
