Bamboozled By Teller, Chicago Bank Robber Offers ID Before Arrest
"I think Robert gave teller his actual idee during ill fated heists. This is great. They're just not making bank robbers like they used really. Whitey Bulger is rolling over in his grave thinking about the other incompetence of the modern day. Bank robber, a Chicago bank robbery suspect gave a teller his state issued ID along with a withdrawn floor way his state issued ideas that anything like a D e B T card. No, I don't. I don't think I think it was his regular driver's license. Why would it say a driver's license? Right? Why is it saying a state issued I D If it's a driver's license? That's also a state issued idea. Is it not? I know it is, but it's It's very imprecise. Mm. And that's a good question. How you can look at just how the police log had documented. This is why you developed sources in the police department. Right, Taylor? Yes. So you could you so you can find out what was really used. Is that a dig at me that I didn't find the source of whether or not it wasn't a BT or an I D? No, I'm just saying Taylor Taylor used to go down to the New Bedford Police Department, just like I used to go down to the Winston Salem Police department and sometimes the Boston Police Department, Ednor Flores 34 entered a PNC Bank and the city's humbled park section. And waited in line before handing a teller A deposit ticket with the words armed and no dye packs. But how we die. What spells? Yeah. Uh, well, you know that. Here's the problem. The Chicago schools have been out for a long time and the teachers, the teachers are still refusing to go back, and this is the kind of the kind of tragedies they're going to occur. Leading the quick, quick witted bank employees to press a silent alarm. The savvy teller then asked Flores, who was wearing a hood in a surgical mask of the time. If he wanted to make a deposit or withdraw the employees then gave floor is a blue withdrawal slip on which he scrawled $10,000 and filled up his account number as 123456789. Before handing it back. Florida's proceeded to give his authentic I D to the teller when asked for he over his temporary state I d card issued by the Illinois secretary of state just days earlier. That's his name. Ednor Flores. Mm hmm. I'm gonna get. It was not a legitimate driver's license under any circumstance. I'm starting to think it might not have been either man covered in. It certainly wasn't a voter ID card says Rambo for 13 we I think we can assume that safely. Yes.

US hiring likely slowed in September for 3rd straight month
"The final jobs report before election day shows America's employers added six hundred and sixty one thousand jobs in September while the unemployment rate for September fell to seven point nine percent the labor department report also reflects a third straight month of slower hiring that does not surprise gust voce the chief economist with PNC financial services group we had big games as we had businesses were shut down re open but now these businesses are adapting to change circumstances and he sees the September report is a good news bad news story you can either say that the job market is in terrible shape with that the job market is a lot better than it was a few months ago so I think there are arguments on both sides actually after
Reds, Pirates games postponed as Cincinnati player tests positive for COVID-19
"This is sports talk later for Lance Encounters for 700 wlw. By the way. Hope you had a great weekend. As of right now, we are expecting the Reds to take on the Kansas City Royals tomorrow night. In Kansas City. That'll be an 805 1st pitch. We go on the air, with the Arnell carriers inside pitch at 705 Luis Castillo is said to get the ball against Brad Keller. Trevor Bauer is now scheduled to pitch on Wednesday, followed up by Sonny Gray. In the first game of a four game series against the Cardinals in ST Louis on Thursday, this after the weekend that was lost after Friday night raids beat the Pittsburgh Pirates and then a couple of hours after the game. We find out that a player tested positive. For covert 19. Saturday's game postponed Sunday's game postponed Ah, couple of things worth pointing out here. Seafront Rosecrans, who, by the way, covers the Reds for the athletic And doesn't awesome job. I've tweeted out a link to a piece that I think will guide you through everything happening with this team right now. But since Saturday, every Reds player has tested at least three times. The players were tested. Saturday, Sunday morning and this morning. Pittsburgh Pirates. Players were also tested in Cincinnati before they flew to Pittsburgh last night. Um As of now. Based on reporting from a couple of it from people who are close to this. There's only been one positive test on the Reds, and it was the player who found out that he was testing positive work over 19 on Friday night. That player has since tested positive again. But as of now and again, there's the latest round of testing results that they have to get. No other Reds player has tested positive. The Reds have yet to fly to Kansas City. They are supposed to fly to Casey tomorrow if they're cleared to play. The player who tested positive would have to be placed on the injured list. Somebody's going to have to be brought up to take his place. The The Pirates will be here in mid September, September 14th to the 16th so there is ample time to make up. Two games They missed right now. The Reds have 40 games remaining. There are 41 days between now and September, the 27th which is the end of the regular season, and so obviously they're not playing today They're going to play 40 games and 40 days to get to 60. They already have a double header scheduled Against the Cubs next weekend. But there is not only a Pittsburgh trip to Cincinnati, but the Reds also going PNC Park and so you can make up one of the games there if you have to. But as of now, The plan is to play. Tomorrow night against the Royals. Again. All of this is very, very fluid. As we've seen with the Cardinals as we've seen with the Miami Marlins, the good news is again. After the one player tested positive with that result being released. On Friday. Reportedly. No other Reds player has subsequently tested positive and also know Pittsburgh Pirates player As of right now 6 26 on Monday night, no other Pirates player Has tested positive. So there you go, Uh 513749 7800 The big £1.700 free call AT and T. Jerry is calling from Claremont County. Hi, Jerry. Jerry. Hope something happens. Jerry. Your wine? Yeah, sure. Go. Oh, well. A little question here if one Holding him and nobody there. Miles is okay. But they prayed about because they have to get tests back from the other players to ensure that there not also testing positive. Woman get their pink. Ooh, they did that. And so there are awaiting the latest the Siri's of results and they hope to play tomorrow. The Pirates also hope to play tomorrow. Yeah, this time, noting the Reds go to Kansas City before they do that they need to get to clear And for that to happen, they want to ensure there is no other players testing positive. Your city's okay. Well, yeah. I mean, the players are routinely testing positive testing, which is why we found out that a player tested positive on Friday night. Yes. Okay. Okay. Is that all right with you? Yeah. No. There was just a bad weekend without baseball. Yeah, Wass, I I don't I can't disagree with that. Ana would do anything about it. I wanna thank you very much. Thank you. Ok, thanks. Have a good evening. You you you do the same. The Miami Marlins. You may recall after the first weekend of the year they were in Philadelphia, and then again, they had a game scheduled against the Phillies. And on Sunday morning. They found out that a number of players on that team had tested positive for Cove in 19 And instead of baseball, swooping in and stopping the Marlins from playing. Instead, the players were allowed to vote. Whether or not they play now, I'm not sure why that would ever be the case. But that's that was the plan. That was the plan baseball let the Miami Marlins players vote via text by the way. On whether or not they want to play. They did play the game that day in Philadelphia, and then As it turned out that they had close to 20 members of their traveling party. The majority were players, obviously not all of them. The majority of players that a bunch of guys in there traveling party test positive for cocaine, 19 And then it took them forever to get back on the field where baseball is trying to do. Is prevented outbreak now. It is worth wondering. This. Today is the 17th of August regular season baseball ends on September the 27th. Obviously, everybody has off days built in, so there's time if you've got to miss a couple of days. What I do kind of wonder, though. Well, I think baseball has done the right thing here and frankly, I think they did the right thing with the ST Louis Cardinals. October. When we have 16 teams in the playoffs. And we're trying to squeeze a lot of Siri's in a very tight window. And ensure that the season the post season is over before we really get to cold weather in November. What's gonna happen when we have a situation with the team in the playoffs like the one that popped up for the Reds on Friday night? Positive test and now we're not going to play for a couple of days. Not playing for a couple of days in the regular season is really not that big a deal. Not playing for a couple of days in the postseason. Could have a significant short and long term impact. More on that coming up in the seven o'clock hour at Mohagher, 15. 30 is by how you can hit me up on Twitter. One of the best players in college football is has started a petition. To try to get the big tend to play this fall. I want to know if the big 10 is gonna listen to him. I want to know if you're going to listen to him. We'll do that coming up at 6 45 but first no preseason for the Bengals this August. Which part of me is enjoying Part of me doesn't like Part of me feels for Zach Taylor. We'll do that after the 6 30 news this is sports talk Mohagher for Lance McCallister on a Monday night on 700 wlw. News, Traffic and Weather

"Doctor Fauci I think recently today said sports could conceivably continue with empty stadiums now. I don't know how much the NFL likes to hear that with. When you consider the amount of asses, you, the stadiums, and what those game day revenue rate like, but either way people would fucking rather have sports than not have sports. But, as NFL, chugs along their rumors that he could be traded to the Vikings. Now I'm not much of an NFL person I've seen ob bj juggle a soccer ball so I like that about him. I think he has a nice signature sneaker, and like people from Minnesota, our show in Minneapolis very great so I'll fuck with Vikings. And just the historical Vikings as well so. That's how I so those are the things you know about the store. Have you ever seen the the catch that he made? It was like behind his head. The one okay good yeah, have you seen him like pulling? Kickoff out of the air with one hand. No, you check that. Like, yeah, I will. He's highlighting. I'm a highlight tape type NFL person where it's like I didn't know about Lamar Jackson 'til. Someone's like Hey, do you need to watch this tape? 'cause I don't watch the Games, but you appreciate athletic ability and I'm like. Okay, yeah yeah. anyways, he had A. he had a real down your He played for the Cleveland Browns last year. Everyone heading into the season was like Oh. This is the browns year. People always say the browns are always gonNA suck not anymore. They got bj and they got Baker. Mayfield and Baker Mayfield turns out not a good quarterback, and so. It's there's not a whole like you have to be the best like next level wide receiver to still be dominant with this shitty quarterback like like Larry Fitzgerald and Deandra Hopkins are the people who are capable of doing that and that's about it. Ob Jade was not there so he's moving onto the bike, wasn't he? Getting in trouble, 'cause smack. The cops asked that was the last time we talked about him at that Lsu. "Less than a month after he was released on bail Cohn has maintained his innocence. His attorneys have also appealed his detention saying it's making goals kidney condition worse. Prosecutors have been interrogating him in the hopes of a confession. Big Bank, earnings kicked off on Friday. The Wall Street Journal's Charlie Turner has more details. Several major banks reported higher quarterly profits on Friday. They were led by the largest US Bank. J P Morgan Chase which had a record profit in its first quarter. Thanks to its core. Lending business in a healthy US, economy, Wells Fargo and PNC financial also posted higher quarterly earnings. But is this as good as it gets for banks which have benefited from the feds? Now, ended interest rate hikes we chat with the Wall Street Journal's David Benoy. David investors liked what they heard from these banks. You know, the results touched off a stock market rally on Friday their lending operations benefited from higher rates, isn't that right yet? That's that's kind of the big key here the the profitability. So so the the way the fed had been raising rates had boosted the banks because they're able to charge more per loan. But people aren't really demanding more learn to posits so that just increases their profit margin. The thing was the these banks posted higher. Net interest income from earlier, but it was basically flat compared to the fourth quarter. And that was because obviously the leveling off of interest rates. Correct. So this is this is a calendar. Gimmick. Almost right now, the fed has said last last month that they're probably not gonna raise interest rates again this year, that's kind of the signal everyone has but they'd been raising them all of last year. So if you're looking at the first quarter this year compared to the first quarter of last year the rate is higher. But if you look at it compared to December that pretty much evaporated on these banks, and that's kind of the big question. So well, you mentioned that stock markets rallying today. I think there's a question of will one of the next three quarters gonna look like for prophets. Yeah. They've lowered their net interest income projections for the rest of the year. According to your story, how do they feel about their overall profit outlooks? So I it's just Wells Fargo's lowered its production, but they sort of are flat people aren't that excited? And that's why I think today the rallies because I think people already weren't excited about the first quarter J P Morgan's number was kind of hit. Out of the park. So for the rest of the year. I think the banks are sort of saying listen the economy looks good. There are these ins and outs. You know, the the rate changes cut both ways. There are other things we benefit from from the rates not going up. We're gonna see what happens the the US consumer seems pretty confident right now, the US businesses seem pretty confident right now, but their arrest Amy diamond mentioned, China, you know, they're always glow geopolitical things that can happen..

"Simply the added costs of owning a car. How I've come to think about meeting with your estate planning attorney is that's just simply one of the extra costs of life. By the way, in terms of things that work. It's not just you're planning on meeting regularly with your estate planning attorney. It's meeting regularly with your property casualty agent as well to make sure that the property that you own the jewelry, your home, are adequately insured if he won't property will chances are it's appreciated in value the costs to replace have gone up. And so you wanna make sure that as long as you're paying premiums for insurance, you might as well be getting the insurance that you're expecting also if you have children that are approaching driving age, or if you have a dog that bites or maybe just a really mean cat, and I've had one of those and they're no fun. You're gonna wanna make sure that you've got adequate umbrella liability insurance, protection that way, you're covered in case of accident caused by you your kids or just on some on your property. So make sure that the conversations with your property and casualty agent. Note in the businesses PNC just make sure that you're in regular contact with your PIN agent in this case, he can't just set it and forget it. What else have I found to work from being a professional financial planner over the last twenty years. I would also say planning conservatively in financial planning. We don't wanna be overly reliant on a lot of things. Yes, sir. I do love it. When a client tells me, he or she wants to work forever that that tells me that their job satisfaction is exceedingly high. I think that's great. It's just I don't want to necessarily plan on having that income coming in forever. What if the position gets eliminated? What if God forbid, there's a premature death or disability or something that affects a client's ability to continue working? I'd rather take a more conservative approach. So when I come back, I'm going to share with you some of the ways to plan conservatively that tend.

"Information and advice, the gender differences were covered in a PNC investment study twenty eighteen. About the distinct mindsets between men and women as it really looks to investing how they look back on their childhood or go based on risk management. Now, we all know men tend to have a do it yourself kind of mentality. We want to dig in do stuff and women are more inclusive. More apt to collaborate and to talk, and I think both sides are actually necessary to have a good financial future. Here's what I mean. You gotta have that mentality of not just do it yourself but wanting to get it done right wanting to move forward. But the collaboration is also very important because it allows you to get feedback and guidance from professionals, and so I think both sides are big. But there is a difference in how men and women approach this men have more risk tolerance. And again, I'll say generally speaking because I've met women that have a higher risk tolerance as well. And I've met men that are a little bit more cautious. But all in all this really boils down to we invest in. How? How we kind of think and process the amount of risk that we're willing to take for example, if you look at driving right with the speed limit, for example, DWI drives fast. Okay. I refused. The ride with him. I'm scared. I need a four hundred seat belt when I ride with w I tend to drive the speed limit. All right. I stay within the realm. Right. I don't have high risk d-w has higher risk when he's driving. Right. But here's the deal. We invest how we're wired as well. Again, understanding what investment is and what it will do it's so very very important for us to be able to understand what we're doing as well as the expectation. So all that to say is there's a lot that can go into it. And if you're married it's really important to make sure that you are weaving together to make sure that hey, are we balancing each other out and how we're investing is that leading us toward our goal. So I want us all to do this. Let's have the spirit of warning to get it done. Let's also have the spirit of collaboration where we're willing to reach out and connect with.

"The victory today, and they will take on UC Irvine on Friday at six thirty get over to Hegel Fieldhouse and support the dogs on blue Friday this time now for PNC Bank, postgame coaches, stop by any central Indiana PNC Bank location or visit PNC dot com. PNC for the achiever in you. We are joined by assistant coach Emerson Kampen the Butler BULLDOGS coaching regulations on the victory knows didn't start out necessarily the way your coaching staff at drawn it up down fourteen in the first staff your takeaways and not only that start to the game. But also the the fight back in the second half to get the win. Yeah. You know, we Presbyterian give them all the credit in the world. They we saw this against UCLA. We saw us against Marquette. Like, they they. On this to other teams. We we just didn't we got away from our game plan. We've got punched in the mouth a little bit. And and then we got away from what we were trying to do which was limit them shooting open threes and not over helping the first half they made they made what six or nine from three. I was exactly what we didn't want them to do. And and and then finally we settle down a little bit in the second half. I thought we had churches where we really guard him. And that was a game plan. We were looking for. And and you know, I think anytime you, you know, it's not an excuse. But anytime you have on Saturday could the emotional loss, and we tried to prepare them, and they had a great day day gray days of practice. And for whatever reason they they didn't come out with with gray. But give them our guys credit. They responded there in the last thirty minutes the game. We were pretty good. We are pretty good coach I thought a guy who really turned her errand tops. I mean, his offense is numbers were great. And obviously you love to see that development. But but he's kind of the heart and soul. A guy who is the hardest team at times. And I thought his ability to kind of turn things around defensively were a key. What is what is it about Aaron Thompson? And why is he so important to this team? Oh, he's he's tremendous. You know, he, you know, he he actually had a tragedy to happen. And he was in DC yesterday. He missed practice and his flight got cancelled. And he literally landed today at eleven thirty and came out and had an unbelievable energy about him. He's he is our heart and soul of our team. And when he plays well, and he's aggressive. He challenges the guys, but here's no doubt. He was the best player on the court tonight. And obviously turned it over a little bit too much. But besides that he played an unbelievable game his defense. His deepens of pressure has been something that we've used the last three or four games. And I don't think there's anybody in the country better on the ball than what Aaron Thompson this coach we've talked about his defense. And this guy who has put a ton of work in on the offensive end to the point where now he's a guy who's leaving you in scoring not only that seven assists. This guy you work closely with what's it been like to see a guy who? Struggled to finish at the rim with nobody on him. Now, he's attacking guys the hoop confidences there shooting threes. How fun is that to see a young man progress and blossom right before your eyes. Yeah. No, it just you know, he he's a worker. Now. He's he is he's our maybe our hardest worker and every time he makes it three. You know, I smile because I know how much work you put in his finishing your right? You didn't finish at the Ray. You think you'd want some back there? That he got down there at the end. But he he's just becoming an all around player. And he's understanding he's been guarded now tonight they were trying to whip his ball screens, and he understands to be patient and win the picket spots. And then, you know, obviously, he's it'd be can lead us in transition. He's gotta do better job of taking care of the ball. But he is fast with the ball. And so his transition the threat he puts with Paul, and Sean and those guys running the wings is a weapon force for. Sure. Well, the Butler BULLDOGS get seventy six sixty seven victory Presbyterian coach UC, Irvine a final non conference home game will be Friday at six thirty and folks don't necessarily know that UC Irvine name, but that is a dangerous team off to a terrific start the season. Yeah. I mean, look them up. I mean, they they went to Texas in one they went to.

"We've heard from PNC Bank experts and selling to third party selling to an e stop and transitioning the business to one's children. Now, let's turn to our legal expert who has joined us as a co host for the show, Sean cook, who's an attorney with Warner, Norcross and Judd, Sean, what are some of your observations from a legal point of view. And what we've heard today. Well, I'll start with the silent that Joe was talking about on selling your business to third party in family. Businesses. What I find is making sure that everybody is on the right page, especially when you have several members owning the business when it's still mom and dad they can sort of call their shots. But when you're talking about siblings owning or several generations everybody seems to have a hand on the transaction itself. And it's really important to make sure that there's a plan of okay. How are we going to negotiate this deal? And and because if you don't have that you're not you're gonna have a very tricky sale going down because everybody has their own views of what's right? What's important in how the deal should be structured, and what the price should be. So you really need to have a leader in the business to be the seller Representative, and and and that's done. There's a document called seller Representative agreement that you enter into and you have one person who is in charge of. Negotiating the transaction within parameters, and you can modify how much thorny that seller Representative has, but that's a very key point to do when you're in those types of transactions now when you say a plan, what do you mean by plan? What would they plan? Look like, well, you know, up front you have to really discuss with the family of what is our goal is our when they're selling the business. What did he want to do? And another aspect of it is what do they want the business to be after the sale now many times family businesses will want the quote, unquote, right buyer. They always say, well, we're not too concerned about price from what the right price. But we also want the right fire a buyer. That's going to continue the legacy of the family business and have a treat the employees correctly. Because all these family businesses feel like the employees are an extended family. So it's very important upfront to understand what their goals are. So you find the right buyer because he find the. Wrong buyer, and you start going down the road, you create a lot of legal entanglements and just headaches. If you will and wasting money did anything, you notice anything ruined. We have Isaq conversation that any come to mind several things I'll point out just a few of them here. I cannot under estimate the tax benefits are of any south may you're basically using tax savings to make the transaction work. I mean, this is a something that the congress has said we endorse this. This is good for smaller businesses. When I say smaller businesses, I think Julia had a indication what that meant. And it's a way to liquidate and what I really like about it is the older generation can turn some of the chips are all of their chips, and as an estate planner and tax attorney. I liked to be able to that diversification. So we can meet some of the other benefits or the other plans of the older generation and. Reduce the risk. And so finally also getting into selling to children on the inside, you know, mini brought up so many important points in terms of engaging the younger generation making them feel competent putting allowing them to innovate maybe allowing them to fail. So that everybody within the company in themselves. Feels like they are qualified. You know, they're not just the SOB the son of the boss where the daughter of the boss, and and so what what were some of the thoughts you had bought selling to children on the inside. Well, Mindy described what you need to do up front. So that's all the groundwork. And then it becomes even trickier to pull off a transaction. If it's not going to be gifting transaction if it's gonna be a sale transaction. It becomes a very tricky because you're basically saying son or daughter, we are the buyer and seller is the older generation, and there's legal documents and legal ramifications and the risk of failure the older generation is counting on. This for their retirement, and they have a plan they have a lifestyle they're used to living and they're selling to their their kids. And so if they're selling just on their promise editing getting very tricky and everybody needs their own legal representation on these things. So it becomes a little bit. You talk about the menu was talking about how the family needs to come together. And all of a sudden, you go through this transaction and all of a sudden everybody's got their legal Representative and it gets a little bit tense. If you will Sean how how much easier is your job as the attorney on these deals when families put forth the effort and take the time to engage professionals as part of the pre planning in whatever their exit strategy might be whether that's next gen east sop or liquidation. Well, if they've talked about it, and it talked about with the professionals they can approach it in the proper way in a constructive way. Like, I said everybody wants their own representatives at the end of the day to look out for. Their personal interests. But the same time if everyone is talking to qualified professionals that all the qualified professionals understand what the deal is everybody wants the deal to work that benefits everybody, but you wanna start early. So everybody understands where everybody else is coming from. And so all the issues are on the table. And that you go into it with. Okay. Here's all the parameters. Everybody has let's try to make a deal to solve these parameters as opposed to a tough negotiation. And hopefully, you get the qualified professionals because many of my opposing counsel are usually very qualified on the other side. And if we all see the same things have the same goal will make it work. We'd like to thank Shaun cook. An attorney with Warner Norcross and Judd for joining us today, you can learn more about Sean and Warner Norcross and Judd at w and j dot com we'd also like to thank our guest. Joe Fahey, Julie Williams and Mindy Rosenthal. From PNC Bank for joining us on this special show devoted to family business, succession, an exit planning. I would just say they were outstanding as Shawn was, of course. But PNC has tremendous resources has demonstrated by today's show. I think so it is really a great team. And we heard some great information. Yes. And I owned my own wealth management firm, and I've met with the folks at Hawthorn family office, and their wealth strategists are second to none. And so we didn't have anybody from well strategy here. But that's another group. That is amazing. So thank you for joining us on.

"Reds, lose today to the Pittsburgh Pirates, on Labor Day five to one at PNC park I like to say. Beautiful PNC park it is gorgeous it really is and it is, beautiful city you come out. Of the fort Pitt tunnel at night Is there. A more gorgeous sight, in, all of. America I haven't. Seen it seriously, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania the reds lose. Five to one Cincinnati one run seven hits one error Pittsburgh. Five runs nine hits one error in the two. Hitting stars for the pirates Adam Frazier in Gregory Polanco Frazier they couldn't get him out four for four triple shorter the cycle four. For four with, a home run two singles and a, double two runs scored three. R d is a solo Homer in the first and then, a two run single in the seventh Gregory Polanco. When the score was one nothing in the, sixth inning he goes deep with Adam Frazier on board Frazier at singled and then Gregory Polanco goes deep to right field. All of a sudden three to nothing in like mardi said on the broadcast the hall of Famer, that was critical homerun because. What one run you can overcome three the way Pittsburgh? Was pitching in the way the, reds. Were hitting just couldn't get the key. Hit couldn't, get enough of them In the rich lose today five to one let's go out to the phones Tom in Milford. Tom happy Labor Day brother Long, it's been awhile, good, to hear your voice I mean I. You know I mean I think it's well documented, I think your guy that called, in? Before me, you're hitting on all the pieces right I mean if you look at the, look at the way. This pitching staff set up it's not built within I think Bailey may. Be the only rich richer. And you can. You we know what that value we. Develop pitchers you gotta. Turn growers in the pitcher there's a big, difference you can throw a hundred miles. An hour but guess what doesn't break doesn't move that's what. You're gonna, have you're gonna lose five to, nothing I. Mean God is gonna hit home, months professional hitters you, need, to have. Professional pitchers not just for hours no no doubt and I just keep going back to Robert Stevenson. Saying that walks, are a part of his game oh my goodness. Get rid of a man if their every game I think he's a microcosm of of of what's going on the minor league system in the red red pepper figure out and. Maybe they haven't. Figured out who they are Oakland, Athletics you've. Got it develop you can't afford to buy players you develop your players unfortunately once they get great. You, sell them, and then you've got to rebuild them again Oakland. Staff does this all the time but guess what they find the diamonds in the walk they know the that can ballpark eight develop them and bring them up these pitchers I don't, think any of them outside of, Bailey's red they traded. For, all the ten ten, pitchers it they have traded I mean we got him. By, giving rid of Guido's getting rid of, getting rid of? All these people making have lightning in. A bottle may we get right on one of them well Bonnie yet. It's time AOL Time it's just the consistency in. The production that's when you become a pitcher you know how. To get out of a jam one. Bad air doesn't take you off the rails guy Sal, was definitely drafted by the reds, but you're right. A whole bunch. Of these, guys came from other organizations no doubt and so they're going to have to really dig in that ballpark is not an easy. Place to play in your right I was? Going, to say. That before On the on. The broadcast I mean you've gotta have ground balls nap, ballpark you don't want the ball in the air because guess what barely. Hit the ball you can get it out of that ball. Partner exactly guys I talked to Tommy Just fans that I talk with they get so frustrated because the reds are only half there's. Only like, pockets of when you can be, good. Like you mentioned guys get good they get expensive they get? Traded and yet there's. Just little windows and hopefully this hopefully there's a. Window. In, two thousand nineteen brother Be interesting. They've got, a lot of holes to fill and just, before this dog I said I think there's more questions than they. Had all gone into this because they thought some. Of these pictures are, gonna, play themselves into the starting rotation or be, pictures in. The rotation and they inhabit and the. Question still Harvey I mean I think they were wanting to. Training enough but they don't really. Have a guy that could be an age maybe he. Is and he's kind of leveled off and so you. Know I it's going to be. An inch and, yeah I don't, I don't know if it's an attitude I don't know if it's a philosophy Riggleman got in there Remember his name now the coach he was calling every ball and strike I don't know if they're still doing that or, not or I don't know if you know. If you, know catchers doing that for the regiment I, used to frustrate me the players make the make the you know. Where the pitch needs to be I don't think. That called me making, the, sideline I find it hard to understand you, don't putting. Any any conflict in your work that. You're when you're doing that Tommy you've already forgotten Brian price Yes Outta, mind I. Guess but I, mean the reds are in a in a difficult thing because the Bengals are coming on FC, Cincinnati taking a whole lot of, the the excitement and people in the generations that are missing the reds in the last ten, years you may never get that generation back at the sad situation and in that. Regard and, I I know Castellini wants to fix. It but I think you have to really root down in your single a and AA and really get can make a. Difference it can really coach up these guys and develop professional athletes coming. In I just don't sit at the. Cardinals they keep bringing guys in every every one one one month or. Two somebody goes. Down they bring another guy AAA and they put him in like in changeable, part and they could just keep rolling of twenty two day at the the best record in the major leagues in the month of August with twenty two. Wins twelve of the winds came from rookies. Twelve so Believable They get a bit more money in, that but you, know it's kinda like same. Thing we want to be like. That, well we've got to do a whole lot to get there and you, know just thinking of next year is going to be. Better and with the same, guy just kind of like the definition of. Insanity you, know you keep doing the same thing over and over and. Expected therefore. Result I, mean sometimes you need to step back and look at yourself so Even though football season's here man I love postseason. Baseball This league going down to the wire with the with. The wildcard and everything else, is, going to be awesome I think, it, is I, mean you're absolutely right and unfortunately, gonna be seeing it from a distance sideline but you know hopefully you. Know Bengals have kind of my heart but certainly the reds have been there been here since that long time I just I know. Everybody wants to do the right thing like think tough decisions have to be made and need to, step, down we've just made it, to blow this up. And just really get after instead of. Kind of, like well kind of taint Brennan thinking you could fix it. Just one one piece at a time Tommy you you're ready to run through a wall with snot bubbles brother I absolutely man and ready to go man Fired up man good man I appreciate. The call you are a true chick magnet Roland you better believe it Tommy in Milford, gosh oh one of my favorites along with Mike and fair food who's on hold and he's going to have to. "On its work so it's definitely a population that is relevant to pnc one or the other items were gonna talk about is the shifting dads with the millennial population something that we've seen at pnc and we have a transitional care program so when a new parent returns to work out we have two locations that they can receive i'm fulltime child care for up to eat weeks to help them without transition back to work which can be a really challenging time and we've seen over the past couple of years more dads using the program school so it's you know i think reflective of the trends rat no dad's are more invested early on in one of even more engaging actively part of their child's life so as an interesting trend that we've seen that i'll talk a little bit more about we also increased our parental leave benefit in 2016 so last year we used to provide one fullypaid week of parental leave now we change that to six weeks of fully paid parental leave that you know is open to moms in to add ads of just going to so something else that we've seen is when we offered one week to that change to six weeks we've seen a higher utilization of our parental leave fi dad's interesting yeah so it's it's an interesting show why that is we don't want it you know it's always hard to kind of figure that out and perhaps it's the view in as the more meaningful amounts of rhyme so they're going to take advantage of it yeah i mean that's kind of one of my guesses but it's hard to know.
