"Beans and so really healthy food that makes your eyes tear up with tears of joy. That's quite amazing. I actually just watched it amazing movie called gather. I don't know if you've seen it, but it was a movie about reclaiming Native American food waste. And the ways in which they were able to sort of draw from the land, these extraordinary foods that actually were far healthier. And I remember this one woman it was teaching her niece actually how to find and get the mice. They were eating mice. Not my thing, but she's like, we kind of look at where the plants are around where the mice are living, and we can tell how healthy that's going to be from the medicinal plants that the mouse eats actually get in their system that we then benefit from. It was quite amazing. And I was recently reading about a sous chef who has a restaurant in Minneapolis where you're from. I don't know how to say this. Restaurant. And is this the code up chef who's gone and actually create a restaurant where they cook only foods that are from America that were here before that were the delicious foods that were wild or that they cultivated. And they were quite amazing and delicious food. So I think a lot of these cultural and textural foods have been co colonized. In other words, they've been displaced. And a lot of these people are reclaiming them, whether it's the choke berries they're eating or the various kinds of native foods that they find growing wild or even the bison that they grow. This is incredible in terms of their cultural food programs that they're now reclaiming. And I wonder what else you found in some of the Native American explorations of their diets and because a lot of these populations are extremely overweight, extremely obese and have diabetes at rates far exceeding us and up to 80% of some Native American populations are diabetic by the time they're 30 and that's compared to one in ten of the rest of us, which is still a lot. So what did you learn around their foods and their food waste? So the chef that you were talking about is Sean Sherman, the sous chef. He actually, as part of this book, he contributed three recipes. And he'll point out to you chickens and beef and pork were never part of the Native American who died either to find sugar. So they've been victims of this food environment imposed upon them. Originally, you know, where I'm from Minnesota, they eat a lot of wild rice. They had some wild game, but they were mostly hunting and gathering. On the east coast, interestingly, part of this book, we found a wampanoag negative American who lives up near Plymouth rock and a modern day pilgrim named Paul Marco, she's a historian, and they recreate it a Thanksgiving original Thanksgiving dinner. In other words, a meal that might have been served in the early 17th century. And contrary to what most of us believe there was probably no turkey at the original Thanksgiving. There was no pumpkin pie. We didn't have flour. They didn't have eggs. They didn't have sugar. So what were they eating? Well, they were eating foods that these native wampanoag, people were providing and it was probably foods like succotash, which is a stew made from beans, corns, and squash. They also tamales, but maybe stuffed with hazelnuts, with squash, stuffed with dried blueberries and maple syrup, which were all available. So not at all, the foods we think were at the original Thanksgiving. But all in all, it's very healthy diet until processed food came

Steve Deace and Eric Discuss God's Calling to Fight

"Question is, is God allowing this to make people angry enough to fight? Because it is so blatant. It is so sickening that somebody like Carrie Lake could potentially be losing, that you think somebody would say we need to dig in and fight. This is not acceptable. We won't accept this. I think that there's another thing God, we could be saying to us, we have to fight differently. For 2000 for until the pilgrims landed at Plymouth rock and shameless plug, that's what my new children's book is about, okay? Why Thanksgiving? Until they landed there in the 17th century. For 1700 years, Christendom didn't have a republic, didn't have a constitution, didn't have voting, and somehow survived persecutions and empires and crackdowns, and how did it do it? Subversive living, faithful obedience, refusing to say yes to Caesar when Caesar asked for dominion and for allegiance that was not his saying no, even to the point of risking their own deaths. And I think one of the things that God may be is saying to us is you have relied too long on sitting at home and enjoying partisan media content and essentially some forms of political mental masturbation, self pleasure and not doing anything and not being not having your faith challenged and then just jumping on fake book or Twitter and randomly posting about it instead of doing something. How about if we take all of your institutional agency away so now it's just you one on one with the spirit of the age and now you believe her choosy the stay whom you will serve which are you one of those who looks upon the beast and marvel's at it or will you be one of those who resist and says, no, I will not comply.

"This is the officer Tatum show. The left ain't seen nothing yet. Ladies and gentlemen, gentlemen, ladies, welcome back to the office of Tatum show. I'm your host, Brandon Tatum. Let me get my caller in. From Los Angeles, California. Brent, welcome back to the office state of the show, what you got. Market does officer Tatum. I'm sorry, I wasn't able to I'm sorry I wasn't able to meet you last Sunday at the 8 70 town hall you were terrific. Thank you so much. You were there? Yeah, I was there. I wanted to meet you, but you had to take off early. Oh man, I hate that because if you would have told me that you were going to be there, I would have made it a point to find you in the audience or wherever I need to find you in order to say what's up and speak to you. Next time I'm in California, I'll let you know. Absolutely. But I wanted to say, every single day Marxist leftist predator Democrats prove how patriotic, religious Americans are always right. And with their limitless lies and their rage and their rioting and their political arrests and imprisonments and their suspension of our constitutional rights to serve their socialist Stassi democracy and with their utter refusal to engage in good faith dialog to defend their demonic dogmas such as their CO2 climate carbon con or their deadly and effective mRNA toxic spike con or their LGB through Z trans scam cons or their 2020 criminal election con, fused with their fully fictitious election insurrection with these in so many more, they pathologically prove themselves daily to be sanity, morality, truth and reality, deniers. Oh, I love it. I love it. I love it, Brent. Thank you so much for the call, man. I gotta put, I gotta put your stuff in like a book. Like a poem book. Because I just, I love it, man, but thank you. Thank you for calling in. I appreciate it. So ladies and gentlemen, I just, I wish that I could articulate it like Brent does, but it is a con, like we give them too much credit. Like we are literally giving them credit as if this is a good faith disagreement. No, this is a con. They know Dern will, the climate change isn't significant enough to ruin our country in order to make these crazy steps. They know that that's not real. Or they would be buying houses on the water. And banks wouldn't give you a loan for a house on the water if it was going to be underwater in two years. We know they. They know better than that. Obama bought a house in Martha's Vineyard. They wouldn't sell them a house of Martha's Vineyard if they didn't have a they'd be doing, they would take steps right now to moody's houses off of the coast. I mean, significant steps mean they wouldn't sell any house on the coast when give a single loan and they'll be the government be forcing people to move their house back so they don't get completely flooded. It's a con game. It's a Ponzi scheme. These people are evil. And we gotta whip them on over the 8th. Hold a phone, I'll be back after the break. This is the officer Tatum show. And afraid to tell it like it is. Welcome back, welcome back. Welcome back to the oxidative show ladies and gentlemen, your host brand and Tatum. Carl Jackson is going to feel in for me tomorrow. I'll be out of town in Chicago doing an event with Larry elder. It is going to be amazing, tremendous. I normally don't like to go to Chicago 'cause it's probably cold, then I don't know what, and I don't want to get Jussie Smollett, smooth leaded, and Chicago. I'm just playing. That's probably a lot of good people out of Chicago. Probably a lot of great areas. Just so happened in the south side of Chicago, I think the west side of Chicago is where I do not want to be. Why? You may get killed with a straight bullet in a drive by shooting. I'm just keeping it real. And Lori dirty foot, you know, she ain't doing nothing to protect anybody in her community. Anyway, let me get to clip too. I want to go clip to a pundit from MS DNC. I want you to hear with this food said. Never before, since Jamestown and Plymouth rock has America been in such danger. Joe Biden is saying the same thing tonight. And a historian 50 years from now, if historians are allowed to write in this country, and if there are still free publishing houses and a free press, which I'm not certain of, but if that is true, a historian will say what was at stake tonight and this week was the fact whether we will be a democracy in the future, whether our children will be arrested and conceivably killed, we're on the edge of a brutal authoritarian system and it could be a week away. Now, you know, I should always want to, how people go to hell for a lot. There you go, right there. That dude line like a you know what? There ain't no way. What are you even talking about, bro? Who told you that you couldn't go to certain restaurants if you didn't get the jabby jabby? Who told you you can enter into society in a bastion they banned you on social media. If you question the Fauci algae, what party ban people, I mean, you can't even be online at all. Delete your social media and everything. Because you had a question about an election. When in 2016, they literally spent the whole Trump administration. They spent the entire length of his administration challenging the election. Hillary Clinton said it was fake. Said it was stolen by the Russians. He's not a legitimate president. Which party is more totalitarian authoritarian. They literally will ban you if you have speech that's different than errors. They will ban you. You won't be online. They work with the FBI to suppress certain subject matter. They won't release the laptops. Working with the FBI and big tech social media. Come on, man. You can't be. Listen, I think we understand this. If you were a layman, right? You were just in the middle. And you heard Republicans say it's an existential threat to America if Democrats get into power and you're a Democrat say the same thing about Republicans. What would be the best course of action for you? It probably would be for you to go and do some research. And I told you, you think about it, think about it for what it is. Who's creating situations of violence and criminality. Democrats, they try to walk away from it now, but they wanted to defund the police. Reimagine police. We remember 2020, you remember, I remember if you're building got burned down, do you remember that? How many politicians came out against them? Kamala Harris said she don't pay the bill. For people burning down your business. People and political power are going to pay the debt. The bond, bail out, get out of jail, people who burn down your community. That's the Democrats have done that. I know what you know what we can see it as clear as the noonday sun. If you were in the middle, which party has the most violent rhetoric. It's the Democrats. I had to collage Montage. I played the other day. The Montage were like, an hour. Worth of material where people are saying they want to burn up the blow up The White House. They want to be hit the president, you had a little washed up comedian, have Donald Trump head, beheaded, and I think it's called effigy. I could be saying it wrong. You got all kinds of politicians. Because I personally, I was troubled by the election the day after. I said, wait a minute, wait a minute. This is very confusing. What's going on? I was further troubled when everyone in power said, hey, shut up. You can't talk about that. I thought, what? What do you mean I can't talk about it? This would be the most horrible thing that could ever happen. I think I need to talk about it. We are living in unprecedented times. I think we have to be clear that I don't know, apart from my faith in the God of scripture, I would be despairing at this point, but we have faith in the God of the scripture. That's right. The Incredible True Story of Squanto

"In 1608 before any ships before any people settled in what's now Massachusetts, I never knew this, because we all know that the Mayflower landed there in 1620. Chris, you knew that? I did at one point in my life. Right. So 1620 is when the pilgrims land at Plymouth. Sorry. But I always assumed growing up that that's the first time that anybody came to like what's Massachusetts. But I found out that's not the case. And the story of squanto, which I'm going to tell right now, which just wait, wait till you hear this. It starts in 1608, and it turns out that English trading ships would travel from Europe from England to Iceland, Greenland make their way down Nova Scotia all the way down and they would trade with the natives. Now I never knew that. So the natives were familiar with English sailors coming and trading and giving them knives and pots and pans and they would give them pelts and whatever. And they would trade. I never knew this. Well, in 1608, a group, a group, a ship led by a captain hunt lands or drops anchor off of what is today Plymouth Massachusetts. And the braves come down to the shore to trade with them as they've done before. Well, just so happens that this captain hunt was a bad man, and instead of trading with the braves, they whack them over the head, put them in the long boat, take them out to the ship, throw them in the hold, sail to malaga, Spain and sell them into slavery. This is 1608, one of the braves was a 12 year old. Boy named tisquantum. Now this is true story. This is all documented. I've done the research. Others have done the research. It's true. So he has bought by some kindly friars, who seemed to treat him well. Teach him the Christian religion, and this is the part that we'll never know how this happened. But they arrange for him to be freed and to travel to London. Now imagine from malaga Spain to London. So this is an Indian from what is today Massachusetts, a Native American, a patuxent, makes its way to London with the idea, and this is where it's crazy of getting back across the Atlantic to go back home. I know. It's like being on the moon and saying, so when's the next ship going back? There's no next ship going back. What are you talking about? But I guess the idea was not insane. He worked in London from what is it around 1612, 1613 for four or 5 years with a family called slany. This is all documented. This Indian named squanto to squantum learns the English language. He's there when he's there when Queen Elizabeth is on the throne, we're talking Shakespeare is writing his play. So he's in London. This Massachusetts Indian, and this is years before the pilgrims ever get to Plymouth rock, crazy, right? In 1618, I believe 1619, a ship is found. For him to go back to his home. And he's going to translate obviously because he knows the language. He's going to be on the ship working with these English as they're stopping, you know, and he's going to be doing the translating and so on and so forth. So somehow he gets passage on a ship. The ship ends up having to spend the winter in I can't remember if it was Iceland or Greenland. It's in my book. Where does it say? Newfoundland now, hold on a second. Anyway, the point is that it took them quite a while to get there, right? So they basically, no, it was Newfoundland. Sorry. They spend the winter in Newfoundland. And then the next spring, this is like 1619, they bring him to what's now the coast of Massachusetts drop him off. Thank you very much. Goodbye. This sounds crazy, right? This is document. This is a true story. So a year plus before the pilgrims land. This Indian has made the journey from Plymouth to Spain to London, spans 5 years London, learns the English language, learns the ways the English, and then ends up back where he started. He finds his way on foot to the village, which is right where Plymouth is today, right? Village where his Indian, where his family is, they have all been wiped out. In ten years, he's dreamed about getting home, he's dreamed about returning. He's dreamed for ten years. He's thought in his mind of doing the impossible to get all the way back

And so. and he's the best quarterback in the league so they used him as a measuring stick which is in fair because brady was taken less. That's all i'm saying. So brady's right in one respect about beaten up on the union which i think is the worst pro sports union in the history of mankind. But he's an awful hypocrite. Rob stop. i knew you couldn't do it. You couldn't just say you know tom brady. And i see eye-to-eye. Tom brady's right. I agree with tom brady. You couldn't just go there. And as you said whoever whoever has anger is a murder and you're not going to enter into the kingdom of heaven with murder being a murderer. Right because ashton nature of satan and the battle is about between good even so go and give me a paris. They can help themselves. God will forgive you and life among as enough of that you you have no fear. I perfect peace. Michael and i are returned to the father thirty one thirty two years ago. I have perfect piece. I have no fear. No doubt no worries. I never spears as zainy or stress or suicidal thoughts. Because i have peace because i don't have the spirit of anger took it away from me when i gave my parents even gave me and it has been amazing ever since well there. There's an important political lesson here too. Because you know you love of country as an extension of your love of your family. Filial pie and so For a lot of people used to be the case that we had gratitude right. I mean we had thanked the first thanksgiving by the pilgrims. Plymouth rock and then washington celebrates thanksgiving and we. We always would thank god for the blessings and especially for this country and we thank our founding fathers and we would think that the great men who built the country and now all of that seems to be on the inverse now we pedal grievance now instead of humility we pedal pride instead of gratitude we pedal grievance and we tear down the statues of our forebears and we all the way down to disobeying. Our parents are all the way. It seems like there might be a political connection here to this very personal feeling absolutely one hundred percent. That's why we must. The family is the perfect order of god and then we have the father over the white the wife to wipe over the children. You can't go wrong because there's this order to live. That orders. God in christ christ and man man noble woman woman over children. That's the spiritual order guiding where you live in order. You cannot go wrong. You're protected from evil. You have the The know how to stand up a deal with evil people without being angry at them because they can't help it but you have to fight back because greater is he. That's an us. Those who have returned to the father graders. He doesn't us that. He doesn't a world as satan. Children have no power. That's why they always happy intimidate you and they always have to call you name because they need to back down because they really all the have words they all have breasts but no power. And if you don't have an anger you can see that the a week and you will not bow down to you and again. We knew his in america. When i was growing up we nudist. This would never have critical race. Theory would have been thrown out winner as soon as inuit brought it up. That would not have happened. In in america in good days would boys who boys and men were men. But we're told jessie. I don't know if you heard this one. Two we're told critical race theory. It only exists in handful of law. Schools. it's not being taught to your kids. it's not permeating the society you say That's not the case. No is everywhere. It's been going off a while over. I've been hearing about critical race theory over the years right. But i had no idea that why we were not paying attention. They will Implant stuff into the schools into businesses and into the military and airy area. Live is everywhere. Michael but if we have perfect lava heart no peace we could deal with. We still can stop it. These people are teaching people to hate america to hate themselves to hate one another. What do you think gonna happen. There is no love in. Anger is gonna only get worse rather than better and another thing that i've noticed Michael in south africa right now. Mommy africa hell over there now. What right it's not being reported other rice and stealing and murder and everything is happening..

And i read history stuff all the time in the way that i look at history is always through the biblical perspective. And so i've studied church history. It's so funny. I've studied it a lot. And i still feel like i don't know anything right. It's like the more that i opened up the more than i research i still. I just don't know you know it's like i'm still learning. That's how i feel about the bible. P the more i know the more i realize i don't know always going to be never going to get there. You never going to learn at all one day when we get to heaven we can ask the lord all of those questions and everything so true and it's really. I think that's how god is too. It's like the the same exact thing the more you know about him. The more you realize you you know it's like we don't know what we don't know right when you're young. America Has a Drinking Problem

"Okay so when exactly did american start drinking. Was it at the start of america. Yeah literally so the reason sort of unbelievably or one of the reasons. I should say that. The mayflower landed at plymouth. Rock is because the ship was running low on beer people back then drink beer instead of water or they preferred it to water. Same and the sailors freaked out. And they thought that at the rate that they and pilgrims. We're drinking the beer. They won't have enough beer to get them back to england's so rather than sail on to the mouth of the hudson which had been the plan they pull the shore and kick the pilgrims off and that is why the pilgrims landed at plymouth rock. Of course the truth may have been a little more complicated than what was indicated in their diaries as they complained bitterly that winter about the beer and having been kicked off there were other things going on it was december. The weather was bad. The food was running low but the beer was a big part of the picture. People are dying in there. Like where's the booze yeah right. So william bradford who would go on to be the governor of the plymouth colony for thirty years that winter in his diary couldn't stop talking about the beer dearest diary. It has been another long and thirsty. Day here at the plymouth colony. How i long for the cool sweet feeling of a droplet of beer rolling down my throat part. That's not real. Almost half of the pilgrims were going to die that winter and the is what he was worried about now to be fair people back then. Were very leery of water. There had been problems with water. Purity in england and they thought that beer was safer nonetheless. They really enjoyed their liquor

Like you have all these big structures with like cartoon characters and mascots and stuff, but no one's around and then when you go into these places, it's just the rest area. You know you're lucky if you can find like a public restroom. But what's it? Therefore, I don't understand what it is. Maybe I wasn't gas station is there's a gas station there, but just picture like picture a very Spread out Rest area where all of the buildings are like purple and blue and yellow. And then there's like giant dinosaurs. What's in these buildings? Do you go in and buy things or you go in and see things or what? I don't know your soul like the scene souvenir stuff that you would see. Guess anywhere, Okay, but it's just roadside and and it's it's very much like not worth the amount of money they put into advertising. But the signs are funny. Don't they sell fireworks there? Probably, I think, Is that what people go in there? I mean, people go there. I mean, people go there just because they're passing by, and they need gas to, But, yeah, I'm sure Some people might go there for fireworks, or we're, uh, cartons of cigarettes or whatever. "I'm John Bachelor. This is the John Bachelor show. It's a great pleasure to welcome back Dana Wheeler, the president and CEO of Plymouth Rock Technologies. Dana has taken me on a journey these last 10 months of the pandemic. Locking down the economies of the Eastern West Coast because his company Plymouth Rock, has continued to push the envelope for threat detection. Remember that before the pandemic, we were very concerned with the penetration of our security systems by bad actors, while we still are concerned. Although working through the pandemic, and the invisible enemy can be a trial, Dana Ah, very good evening to you. I want to emphasize that you have stated work at Plymouth Rock through this. Not everybody has been able to you work remotely worked at your shop. In Massachusetts. How is it been for the employees? The restlessness? The despair that I read about in London is routine for everybody now because the Children went home, and how has it been for your family's good evening to you, Dana? Oh, thank you, Jonah. Thanks for having me back on. Always a pleasure. Um, we way actually did very well during the this pandemic. One of the things we did do early on as we did apply for one of the P P P Cares Act. Loans, which helped us you know, it helps keep people employed and you know and pay some of the bills that keep the lights on. So that was very, very good. The second round's coming up now, so we're gonna take another look at that. But as far as the workforce is concerned, we were very, very fortunate to have work coming in from our air wave division, which does a lot of space work for NASA. In space ax and and the government, too. So that kept us going because we had orders on the books, the people that will working remotely in the UK That was that's a good point. They were really in a locked down there. They stayed home we had. You know the famous zoom calls almost daily with the guys and they kept working. Rx one platform. On on smaller of the R and D and the development side on coming up with new ideas of what we could put on these drones, you know, to make life easier and also to protect Our good citizens, So it really, really to us was almost like, Jeez, This was kind of good. We got everybody always attentive and getting young calls. No one was traveling, of course. So while we did very well John Plymouth Rock is traded in U. S and P. L. Rtf and in candidate PRT. Now I am familiar with some of their systems because it's been several years and once upon a time, Dana was kind enough before the pandemic. Bring me the magnificent X one. So that's a favorite of mine. It's a drone. The question now is. How is the drone doing in the pandemic? Amazon is cleared to deliver with its drones is X one cleared is well, Dana That's it. That's interesting that you say that John and yet, so there's a lot of players in the U. A V space of the drone space that have been talking about drone delivery. The X one is the perfect example for drone delivery because of a long flight times whether we use a battery operated Engine or we use gas powered engines. We can We can get the flight time up and some of the things that have happened over the last few weeks. In fact, um you know, not counting drone delivery, but just rioting and so forth like that. We've solved some issues that we think we can. We can help law enforcement out a lot with that. But as far as drone deliveries concerned, that's a very good question. Because we have looked at now and we know we can do it. Refrigeration units where we can fly. Over 19 vaccinate that vaccines to remote areas on Beacon even get into organs and organ delivery and met and medical delivery. So that has always been our goal with the X one. In any case, But what's happened over the last month of so is really accelerated our you know our development in that area, So we have identified a meta pack. If you want to call it that we can transport these types of things, even refrigerated at the temperatures that need to be with you for the vaccines. X one is not a toy. It's about the size of Ah, modest Daniel Room table and It does come in black and other colors. I'm certain Dana has one product I was initially engaged with because I reported on this so 20 years ago nearly 17 years ago. This is the shoe bomber. Of 2000 and 2 2000 and three that plagued everyone and why we take off our tie shoes at the airport. You've got SS one. You call it now? SS one Is the shoe scanner deployed. Is it ready to deploy toe? Lift our burden of taking our shoes off? Well, I've got some really good news for you, John. Since the last time we've talked, so we were selected by our Department of Homeland Security and T. Essa on a program that they created for innovative demonstrations for enterprise advancements called the Idea program and we were selected out of a lot of entries that came in as the only shoe scanner technology that they they selected us to do a demonstration. At the T s a laboratory. So we're very proud of that. We just kicked off the program with DHS last week. In fact, and so we're getting a system ready to go down for you know many, many months of data taking by T s a and hopefully some very good feedback from the government on where it's going to be needed at airports and other federal buildings and so forth, So That's they will be will be making a formal announcement about that. So now there is a new system here, Kota won. I'm unfamiliar with that. How does it work? Dana Soco to one is a standoff. Radar microwave radar that detects weapons underneath your clothing. So it's very similar to the body scanner That's in the airport's only its standoff, meaning you don't have to be inappropriate walk into this body scanner and being really close proximity to where the scanning mechanism of scanning Your body. This could be a standoff. Distance. It could be a 20 m 30 M. 50 M So you can imagine people coming through checkpoints, military checkpoints at forward operating bases. Federal buildings what people are coming in and out. The capital was used. The capital is an example people coming in out of the Capitol building in the White House. Least they get scanned and it's you can do it from a distance. So that's safe. That's gonna you know, obviously protect a lot of people in the proximity of someone actually did have a suicide bomb. It's a very small unit and you're gonna love this. It's the size of about an iPad little bit sicker. And where Mitt let we're actually taking weight out of that. To do what put it on the X one. So now we'll be able to from the air. Be able to scan unstructured crowds and look for contraband and look for weapons on people from up from up in the sky. My interpretation of your excellent website because you have a video is the old way is checkpoints. You have technology, then that would eliminate the checkpoints or make them easier. How do you understand it, Anna?.
