"Call it a burning house in our little world. We add someone this week. Actually that we met. And my teammate. And i were talking after an. I'm mike okay. That was it right there. That's a burning house. That's the house you think you're gonna run in there and help it all and all that happens is the damn thing falls down on top of you so it's a note but i do think that does take some burning right. You gotta hit the law. You gotta get a little always. You gotta look with some burning houses. But i realize you know. Oh yeah. this house is is not salvageable. Yeah and i. I wanna say this. I feel called to say this after what you just said about permission women and permission because i wanna give people some grace here And sort of goes back to what i said about you. Know our leadership paradigm the world that we've we've really been operating for thousands of years. Is women not being seen an allowed to be who they are without asking for permission and so there is a real social and insidious cultural baked in knowing that we have that. We're all working to kind of get out of and so i think the more we can help each other the better like look. No no look at me. I did it. You're okay you can do this. But it's it's okay like it's okay if you feel like you need that because you've been taught to believe not just not even verbally just by the world right and Don't take up space. don't be too noisy. don't ask for what you want. Certainly don't go get what you want. Don't be noisy about it. Don't be too aggressive all those messages. Or wait your turn They're just lies that we've been taught to believe in that in that some. Take some undoing for some people more so than others. Chris thank you. You're amazing okay. How to ceo. Tell us a little bit about it before we end this and for everyone listening. That is like. I need to go do this like yesterday. Where can they go to learn. More zeina more. Learn more okay. So how does he is the twelfth Twelve week program right so we always have to make things on the program so people are so it's twelve weeks of really amazing content on how to hire fire hold people accountable deal with difficult employees banners. Change in your organization Setup what i call your leadership operating system which is how you build all of your performance. Metrics your kpi all pieces. Yeah but it's we blend that with live coaching and consulting and i do say that we do consulting because we do the he might come to a collins. I don't know what position to hire. And i will consult with you to help you figure that out rather than just coach your brain okay And so. I like to think about like the hottest ceo. There sta the content of your brain and the coaching and consulting is really for your soul in your spirit. And i really am in the business of transformation through deeply supporting women through this journey because when you come out through learning who you want to be as a ceo and the kind of organization you really want to be an extension of whatever that business is that you've been kissed with that you want to put in a world. There's so much freedom on the other side and what we need is more and more women thriving because it will change the world and that's my vision is to prove the powerful and finding woman so how to ceo is quite a real powerful incubator for all elements of you as a leader team manager developer. And you know the woman doing the work of it and then is it. Open anytime it is. We have it open right now. We're going to be opening registration again. I don't know when this will post but Every month we have opportunities for registration. We're in july right now and we will have some opportunities towards the end of the month and people can have. Ceo registered dot com Or they can just email. Amy s at chris blackie calm and just if they want to book an appointment and chat about it they can do that as well. So and is not the only way to work with you. And or your team depp k. Down what's cool is once you're in than we do. A thing called the lab. That's more ongoing coaching. And then i also do Retreats for female entrepreneurs so that exponent doing his again in hawaii. And i only open those up to clients awesome. Yeah superfan and it's great. Thank you so much for being here and for sharing all of your insights and laughing with me. And i can't wait to hear what everyone thinks and with. That sad is always if you had any wet bulb moments Anything that was really transformative or curious or interesting for you in today's conversation. Chris and i would love to know what that is. So of course screen shot this episode. Put it on your instagram story. Tag myself at joel soloman and at is it chris. Blackie oh chris the coach on instagram. "Your perfect employee. Right the more. You could clear about that the easier it is to attract them and that's what we want to be doing on a regular basis. You figure out that key result the way that you do that as you reverse engineer. So i usually start. If i'm working with a solo poor. I have them write their job description as it is today and then what we do is we look at okay based on everything you put on here. What are we. What are we saying. You don't want to do anymore. Usually it's time calendar scheduling. Maybe some personal assistant kind of stuff right. We sort of put eight. So what is the key result. The key result could honestly just be create simplicity and ease in my life. And so how will you know that this person that you hire is delivering on that result and then we come up with some of these key objectives maintain my schedule Plan my time off in callan travel book. My personal appointments you know. There's these key objectives. Insure all clients or responded to and then we write all the responsibilities which fill in the bucket. That's how we do that versus like i just need somebody to do my laundry check else and don't bother me it. Don't talk to me. Can i do that all through slack. Deduct anyone kind of in forbid. And i do think that too. I feel like i've done this before. It's like i'll hire someone. And i'm like okay so now i don't have to really be here anymore and then i'm like why aren't we growing. Why aren't we. Why is it my business. You know shooting through the roof. Because.

"For later, and then go to your job and get A. I mean I I get that feeling like, why do I not care more about what I'm seeing so I? Think the last six months had a lot to do with it. I think the fourteen years of crisis mode with our are crazy health journey with heather has something to do with it and I also think. This is just me throwing out theories and you guys tell me what you think and then tell me if you've ever seen a dead body, let me know the comments. I didn't see any blood like I didn't see. It literally looked like somebody was sleeping. I didn't see the gruesome reality because I was far enough away to really I think let it Super Register in the moment and I also didn't see the act right. And it was the body wasn't covered with a blanket or anything like oh Got Their. This happened Joe. One day after day. Because Ellie. My girlfriend Ellie just recently saw body for the first time too but it was a car accident, a motorcycle accident. So, but she likes said that she was driving and then all the cars just all of a sudden started slamming on their brakes she slammed on her brakes and hold up past it, and there was a car that was like dented and a guy was like leaning is this is a this is so depressing. These times. But he was leaning his head like down on the. Car In grief pretty much, and then there was just a body on the ground. So that she okay gene I saw. She's okay but she wasn't okay. She's okay now but it was definitely it was traumatizing for her which I have noticed in. If I go to therapy. The drive people in La specifically have been exceptionally dangerous. Yes like it's it's because there's like loosened traffic and. More scared to drive than I've ever been and more nauseous. It's turned me into a better every single time. The People here are insane when there's no traffic it's like they're they're you know. They're just like kids like. I saw a wreck, the other day that was similar to what you're talking about where like a girl was just like weeping and weeping and weeping, and it was like one car another car and others are, and then I saw all the like ones were just mangled and I was like this is just it's it's awful and people are just being idiots dude ever since quarantine and all the anger started. All at the same time stop signs have become a suggestion that very few people seem to take. Seriously it's been insane. I'd love to be able to if he if I may. If that's okay. Everybody everybody kind of talked about their. Dead Body Experience, and for me I think it's one of those things where it's like. I've learned a method of. Living in L. A. and seeing a lot of. Weird things here. The four or five freeway is the the the epicenter of of accidents. You know the one zero, one freeway lot lot of major freeways in Los Angeles, the five, the ten, fifteen, whatever. The to ten. The three, sixty, the one you know it's really one of those things where. Sixteen forty, two. Yeah and. So one method that I've learned In order to kind of desensitize and kind of prepare yourself for seeing a dead body is. If you live with other people And obviously everybody sleeps what I like to do is is I like to watch people sleep. And pretend that they died. And if you give yourself a good amount of time to grieve over that sleeping person, would it? What would it be like if that was that dead? If that was my loved one dead. How would I react? Let it all out. Let it all go and if you do that every night like I do. The next time, you see a dead body and you might feel hungry rather than scare. Steve can you can you play the music again and I will do what I thought you were going to do for your bit. Here you go. Okay. I could. I may could. Since everybody else is talking about their dead bodies. I wanted to tell you guys about my. And it's back when I was a kid. And Had this group of friends. And we went on a little adventure if you will. See my brother. John Cusak. He saw dead body tracks on the tracksuit. So me. Chubby little friend. WHO's hot now Like toast. And and will. Weeden. and. River. Banded together, and we went on a little journey. He regaled each other with stories about throwing up blueberry. Pie. which is a really. Nice Guy. That part of. It. Part of the movie with the Pie thing is such a Stephen King Fan. That's all. Steve can you play the music more timeshare show you what I noticed when you started doing that bit. What the? Not Good for Pike. Video podcast. This is the day the Lord Hath made. And be glad in it. Doesn't also say that? No I. think that's a wonderful note to end. Say Pasta on it also. spaghetti the Lord into your heart so Well. I you know I. Hope that helps for people with seen dead bodies and Shit but Would it be okay. Very storage. Oh, that's crazy. It was it was nuts last little Utah that I wanNA highly suggest to everybody and I find it hard to do around here if you. have been stuck inside and the social distancing is killing you and you're not seeing people and you just need a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend not necessarily running to UTAH. But find a lake, find some river jump in a body of water that is not surrounded by other people. I got so refreshed I was reminded that there's beauty in the world and there's moments outside of the thing that we're stuck in and it was a very healthy exhale for me. So if it's a two hour drive that that sucks hopefully, it's closer I do it get out to a place where there's not a lot of people and just get out in the the awesomeness that is. The Pass Cup the past because a reset the past couple of months I think I've been outside actually more than I was before quarantine started simply because going out to walks and parks and just going you. I've yet to do any I need to get. I needed to go and just be gone for like a week or something like I haven't like gone and I needed just go drive to where the wind takes us and just fucking do it because I've just been Jersey don't fucking house. What's on drive where the wind takes Joe? Actually knows a really good airbnb. Oh, could you please Joe I need a recommendation It has condoms already in there it's. Funny before we before we say goodbye I WANNA do one would you rather if you guys want to just end it on a lighter now and Joe Thank you for sharing that story. Hope you're okay. Let's talk if you need to talk. About, we should talk after this any. It's so funny because I was saying that. I was like people were like, okay. I didn't really understand it and then Kevin told me about Elliott she. Okay. Classic Joe. All right here comes a wonderful. Would you rather I thought I mean this one really tickled me this. I mean in a way that was like it really gets the gears going. Would you rather? have. Time stop every time you fall asleep. So you could sleep for however long you want without wasting a minute of your day. or or have the ability to sleep only two hours a day and never feel tired..

"So. Boom Utah Jazz. Kobe I get on a plane. The next day I'm scared out of my mind and then like the day after the. Massive earthquake hit Salt Lake, which is not a normal thing buildings were damaged. Mormon temples like the the dude at the trump at the top, like they fell marrone I, his name is Maria. Bell thank you. So. Crazy. Okay. So fast forward to this time. Steve just. Reveals devoutly. If I could read a scripture, right? Right. So we get into, we get into Utah I, the AIRBNB thing happens at eleven thirty. At night after an eleven hour drive that sucked next day we we open up the news and find out the area that we were staying in which we had left got six hundred people got evacuated. Because the FBI found some dude in his house that was shooting out street lights had massive stocks of explosives and they had to detonate them in that house. So they evacuated this whole neighborhood and had to do two controlled explosions. Okay. That's not normal for Salt Lake now next day next day a plane crashes in the backyard of a neighborhood killing four people. We saw the smoke rising as I was driving the family out to the mountains that they were like what's that? Apparently? That was a crane it kills. That's Kevin's new show on Patriot. Crane. Slash we. Did you're talking about the people in the plane died not anybody on the ground no. Some people on the ground. This wasn't a commercial flight or or a private or. Private Plane Yeah Damn. Horrible right into somebody's backyard back to back things she's in. On the weekend. I was like, okay I'm GONNA get up early I'M GONNA go get my family me some food I'll get my shopping done try to get there before the crowds because also masks not necessarily. Thing there. And I go to the store at eight thirty in the morning something like that and I walk up park in the smiths parking lot and see there's caution tape and two police cars on the street. and. This is. Another tangent that will come back to this is the day after pioneer days in Utah, which is the thing which I'll tell you about in the second. So I which is a community statewide celebration and I was like, okay they must be having a run or something make their closing off the street for a five K.. Something like that. So I walked up to go looking down the street and there's a guy standing there and another dude walks up with me at the same exact time me and the other dude are kind of like what's going on and the first guy there sleaze like very foreign he goes Shoot shoot shoot. We're like what? What are you saying? Shoot shoot shoot and then he points down the sidewalk and goes dead shoot dead. Oh No, we're going to be a robot about. Forty feet away is a dead body I see a body at eight thirty in the morning before the news crews get there in everything just a guy splayed out looking like he's sleeping on the sidewalk. On the phone with my friend and I think we're talking like video games and like yeah, under tail is good John You should totally check it out. Oh my God. That's a dead body. One. I saw a dead fricken body on on the sidewalk and it turns out and like I said I. Got There Before All the commotion. Got There. So I, I call, heather? Decide Dead Body. Do you need eggs? It's like going back out in Utah you expected in La. Yeah Yeah Joe. When you left L. A., did you buy a lottery ticket with the numbers for a twelve, fifteen, twenty, three, and forty two? I love that you're watching lost Elliott. Apparently I go. To Utah but. I go. I get the shopping done and I go home and then I look up what happened and apparently this was a guy that was released from prison because of covid like he shouldn't have been released but they releasing a lot of prisoners because of it and the first thing he did was go to this Smith's in getting a knife fight with somebody. Somebody hostage on the sidewalk, the police shot and killed this guy. So the thought that I had was, oh, my God this is going to be I'm seeing national news before it explodes and becomes like a big deal. Not a pete since then like it's kind of come on. Do you think. They're. So we so they really released a prisoner they released prisoners to keep them safe from cove Ed. And then spreading within the prison. Yeah and so a lot of people have gotten kind like early releases because that's probably why because they're like they're gonNA make it they're gonNA IT'S GONNA make Utah look real dumb for letting their inmates out and then immediately one goes and I just thought police killing on the on the heels of everything that's been. going. To be a bigger deal but I think this one might be super justified I don't know why it didn't blow up and I apologize if all of my details aren't exact. But the big thing. That I thought was crazy for me personally is that I started telling some of the people. That I was working with up there I can't believe I saw this and they were very like they all became emotional like I'm so sorry you you went through that and then I realized I wasn't in shock and I wasn't crazy Lee affected and I realized in my my own minds process I was like I was upset with myself that I wasn't more upset with seeing. Like why am I not having a bigger response to it and then I started thinking about it and it's just been. One we see everything on the Internet and that's probably desensitized me a bit but also the last six months have been so crazy I think seeing something crazy just doesn't even blip on the emotional radar for me. Say Joe like you I mean beyond the past six months and I know you talked about this on the podcast with film so I don't feel too bad bringing it up. But like you your ability to compartmentalize things and get things done and stay sort of in your like goal oriented or like outcome oriented trajectory is unlike anything I've ever seen in any human like you're very good. It's like it's park compliment but it's also like probably does result in sometimes you seeing something traumatic and your brain is able to take it put it in..

"And we're back back to you Steve. But I think it would be fun. If you shared some of your stop Lego stuff to do you have any of that I have them, I would have to look for them but I have them they might just have little clips or something just so. They may or may not be in the podcast they may or may not be in the PUCK, and if they're not in the podcast, I think equally the way that Joan Elliott and I were thinking of doing a show where we kind of just roast each other about all the old shit we made we should include some your shit too man. Yeah. That would be really funny. I would hate it and love it. Yeah. All, hate it in love it. But that's the fun people love. Yeah but anyway, we can keep coming back to to stuff from Kevin to and I, think it's so funny that we all have we. We've seen you at BITCON and I think that's great. Do you remember that I found out I got the job? Avid. Con. During the panel. because. Pretty much about his professional I think. True. Like. It was true. But by that planning on but by that point, already doing stuff with dynamic banter. So we already kind of brought you in it was just yeah I was Steve Steve was answering question I remember and I think got really into his own answer and then I saw his hand do the hand the Steve Hand where it goes out like that where it goes and. I and then I was like what's happening thing might might be in the room right now and I was like Oh here we go. I was just excited to. It was like when you get the like when you have a girlfriend and you're like, I, just want people to see my heart girlfriend that I just wanted to show you. You can't. You can't say that about Kevin on the gas. Hot Girls End of the valley folk? You just pointed something out Elliott that I never really realized but that's such a tell for Steve Steve's like I just had a spontaneous maybe I'm going to do something I shouldn't thought but I'm going to do it anyways because his hand strokes. No as the blood is all gone to his head. COMES HOW Do I. Am very I have animated hands. They have a mind of their own. That's so funny. So I wanted to. Do some would you rather as if you guys wanted to? Do some of that. Let's can we save them for the end up to come to I, want to tell you guys about the rest of my Utah Spirit. which was in these two things I. Think I choose the would you rather? Well. We did for those of you that listen to the last episode Joe. Wind down regaled us with his tail is the word I'm looking for by you spun yarns of the I knitted a sweater of what the fuck I. Let the audience where so you? So the boys about what happened. Kevin Elliott. So you guys are up to speed on what happened in the AIRBNB. So if you have any questions I could we could do a follow up real quick but I think you guys got the gist of it and if you're listening listening to the prior podcast, I think it's called joes families. AIRBNB nightmares something like that but. The rest two things. Okay. So first of all Salt Lake City, this gem that people don't realize how much of a gem it is. It's at the bottom of the wasatch mountains I come from glacier national army, write this down. And these mountains have so much personality that they rival the place that come from and I'm like I live here. So that's point. One point. Two crazy crazy shit happens when I am in Salt Lake City that never happens apparently unless I'm there and now I'm a robot again. My robotics. Okay. All right. So back in February when I went there, it was the day that. I went there for some work and the day that before I was leaving I was at dinner with a friend and we had our phones not on eight hours. Humble Brag Yeah I have friends. City. Shadow to Alana Brophy the weathergirl from ABC, news up there. But we were not on our phones for three hours and. We pick it up and that was the day that I picked it up and there's like you know when CNN goes breaking news and it seems like the world is ending stark read. This was like four bars of star stark read like bombs were dropping but it was the day that was like. Utah Jazz all have covid Tom Hanks has cove it. NBA season suspended Kovin it was at Dave. Yep It was the day that America was like Oh. Everything we we believe in it. Now we're going to decide on CNN so it hit harder. So we like. Everyone should have believed it was real but not everyone did. And now here's Tom Hanks. Got It. Tom. Hanks was totally when it hit home for. Ya for every. SMART. Oh man that's a different side note I heard some pizza gator talking about Tom Hanks and I. Still hasn't come up. The Pizza Gate Shit. Sorry to I. WON'T WE WON'T Tangent but the Pizza Gate Shit that was happening this week is crazy to me. It's so always it's always been like out of my peripheral like I just don't soon as I heard somebody actually talking about it and believing it and like going deeper into the conspiracy is my mind just melt. Talk we'll talk off line dot gov line yeah. Hours about this shit..

"Like Kevin was saying like just making things even if you're like Oh shit is sucked, don't look at that as a failure and don't look at that as a stopping point look at it as like okay. When this isn't new shit none of this is profound but most of it is. Very true and the reason why you keep hearing it is because it is very fucking true. If you keep making things if you keep writing things if you keep drawing, you're eventually going to get better at it, and if you've got a big grand idea and you're like this big grand idea is my is my baby and this is the thing that one day will be a movie or a TV show or youtube show or whatever. Work up to that workup to the thing that you really really think is a good idea is worth making make a bunch make hundreds of things before you make that make test version of something that you don't plan to show anybody or put online or whatever. Until you feel like you're fully ready and confident of to make that and I guarantee you if you put the work in and you really focus on that one thing that you really want than I swear you'll be ready to make some day and you might not feel like it's ready. You Guys Su- such good. Everything you're saying is so good. This is. and. What you're saying to doesn't happen consciously. Wake up and you're like, Oh, I've feel like I'm all of a sudden great at doing this. It's like you maybe you yes. I'm. Elliott, seeing one of those shadow people saw. The coolest thing that I've experienced is being a little kid having a vision of something in my head of how I want it to turn out. Trying it having it not look anything like I wanted it to look like and then getting. Angry. And then slowly over time, it's like that's almost exactly how I pictured that in my head turning out that is a very cool thing to actually. Yeah exactly and you never know the thing that's in your head that you want to fully realize, and then you put the work into it and you make it and you're like, wow, this is exactly what was in my head for all. You know that thing that was exactly in your head and came out the way that was in your head, a lot of people like that and be like Holy Shit that's really unique in. New and different and weird and creative, and it makes people go like Oh shit I like that and then that's how you start to build an interest in the shit you're making and then you just keep doing that and then I think that's you know whatever you guys you guys were talking about big conto you and I feel like I should send Ryan the pictures of me-meeting you guys at like five years do you do? Not. Not. That was I didn't even respond to you anyway. You. Replied to me I'M GONNA I. Guess I'll talk to him about this. Listen. There's probably videos of that panel of you in the same you look in the same way and everything. It wasn't necessarily how I looked. That's part of it of course I always. The FA- I didn't know that I you that and like that. Alone I get. To I had no idea Kevin that I've met you back that. Yes. So cruel times even Steve Yeah Yeah Pictures of me with Steve at they'd gone well Kevin I remember you coming to like the the open space shows too. Yeah. But always ones I had done once we had made connection with the even then I I remember seeing I, remember being like oh, your Kevin, your the guy that make things I remember that and then and then I kicked clicked in my head that I'd seen you Before but Do not. Throwing up Steve. Yes. I'm throwing up in my mouth and I haven't had breakfast yet but I'm eating my dinner from last night but But Kevin, you should share the photos of us for this and Ryan pleased that it those in but also when you're talking about your. In. What's that? Here's some speaking of editing in. Let's hear more about what Steve has to say here's the ADS Ryan Oh. Isn't as a wonderful episode so far I know I really enjoyed it. So why don't you just take a breather altogether and do some ads for fun everybody Listen we all know how express VPN protects your privacy and security online right. But here's something you might not know you can also use express. Movies and shows that are only available in other countries. I E peepshow which I think is not available on net flicks in America. So if you're in America and you WANNA watch it, you can do express VPN tickets also on Hulu get general idea now. "Please make us accountable and continue to remind valley available Patriots Dot Com. But whatever it is. Please make us accountable for making that because there's so much shit from our past that you guys would probably really get a kick out of. especially. Joe. Whenever. We were doing interviews back then. Lucan I or anybody else that was part of that. It was like we always talked about how the technology and the current era blew the doors off a Hollywood like it made everything accessible and whether or not you wanted to go that route. But what it did was it just showed that everybody has creativity inside them and the way that technology changed from like Nineteen ninety-five on. just gave everybody a level playing field and we were doing it in high school with little mini dv cameras and early early versions of like final cut chat. With it was but. was that two to high eight and Super Eight and Devi, and V hse and all that Shit. And Yeah Just I. Love that it it it took the superhero stigma away from everybody was doing it in Hollywood. What happened? If you can't if the audience so good on. On. The final version that for people watching don't know the weird sounds that avid for all the three of us go. Yeah, all three to face besides. Mike Crazy just. For the sake of no, you're fine it. Yeah. It's Ok now for the sake of the. If you wanted to since I'm capturing this whole thing, you could cut to Ryan you could cut to the version of it where we all saw Joe Turner robot for second. But what am it's fine. We'll get over it. We've done it for a while. Now we figured we know Louis Works it's always fun them. I'm getting real tired of making crap over discordant zoom you got said. My level and I've talked about this it hasn't it hasn't abated but the level of hatred I have for like all the commercials being like net mirror from home. Now, I can't I don't know why it makes me. I I wanna I, WanNa talk about. It so much. I I don't I've never seen. I mean, I don't have broadcast television. So I haven't seen that but I've. Commercials during who or anything like. Youtube ads, it's all. Fake it's shot in a studio. I think hold on a second did show for Konica on each queue called mostly harmless. It was my show where I made my millions and so I pay for the Hulu without ads so. I didn't even know that was. Really it's more money more money. It's a little bit more money. It's not much more speaking of ads. You know what I got. I got what I've been loving and I didn't think I'd love it is Youtube. Premium? really it's expensive. It is a little bit expensive but the greatest thing almost the only reason I use it is because it has the background where you can close. Playing. That at all. Yeah and there's no ads because in my car I have to play. And leave it open. Yeah. Listen to a long talker. So okay cool. Sponsored. Anyway. Joe Policies you have more to say about that or. No I was just saying, yeah, it leveled the playing field in humans are infinitely creative and I think it's really good that people can start at such a young age because you are. You're not jaded. You're just you've got this energy. You've got this look on life that I think it's lost over the years as you get older and then you have more. Life experiences, and if you're lucky, they don't wait you're down. But the fact that kids get to express their inner emotions and their creativity and throw it out to the world and learn from it. It's amazing. There's down of course, but and so cool that the opportunity is there for them and what I was saying with the with the years thing is that. I think as a kid in my head I was like, well, if I do this, then I'm GonNa. Be I'm going to have a successful career if I just start making videos like these other people do but then all you still have to put in but then. Lesson learned how big? You still have to go through and put in the amount of time to get to that point. And if you start like I, don't know it's it's still impossible it still it still yeah it's the word. It's like a it's a sloth or something like that. It's like, yeah you have to trudge through to still. Yeah. Start early it's a grind, but but there's also like you know whenever? I, it's been a while but remember when we used to do like vid con panels and Shit and people would be like, how do you? Do Youtube like how do like what's the secret to youtube or whatever, and it's like you know I would the answer would change every time and then it eventually got to like I don't know don't bank on Youtube like just 'cause I think that the through line of of creativity with filmmaking and making movies and shorts and sketches, and whatever the fuck else you do with a camera sensually I think that it will always be a thing that. Even if there wasn't a youtube, it's still a good creative outlet to like things with your friends and shit and I think youtube made the whole thing kind of like more hyper focused on becoming a youtuber and making money off of putting things on Youtube and I think it's like if if if you to wasn't in the picture. It would still be worth your time if you WANNA be in the entertainment industry or if you WANNA work in TV or whatever to still make shit with your friends and make things like you were making it for Youtube but just forget about fucking youtube just take Youtube forget this the success of building and making sense. Yeah that's the word. Yet do it's going back to doing it because he just love it. Yeah. Yeah. The tragedy the big tragedy. In our generation and are in terms of entertainment I. Think the fact that the goalpost got changed from quality to success and when your kid making stop motion stuff on a camera, you're like I just if this were to be seen, I would hope it as good as the people enjoy it and then youtube assorted. INTECH tog and everything else has changed the paradigm to be I. Hope I can use this to become successful famous and that's a sad. Yeah. The point that we used to always make those panels and even before that Lucan I and then even now but I think it was said Ad Nauseam. So we don't say it as much and it may be feels like it doesn't have as much gravity as people would be. Like how do I do it? Why should I do it? I'm kind of interested in stock answer was always but just because stock doesn't mean it was wrong was do the thing that makes you happy because if you're chasing the other thing, the success or the validation from cliques and stuff like that it's GonNa be emptying. You're gonNA find yourself burnt-out not happy. Totally one say leveled the playing field what it did was. Yes gave everybody an opportunity but more important than anything else in the era that we're in is that it gives you the opportunity to present your voice. So when the world of the doors of Hollywood were blown off, you could go to Hollywood and you can try to make it and you'd still be chasing success necessarily the success dragon, the validation dragon but you'd be doing it on other people's terms and doing it in other people's art. What's Nice about now is That, you can still chase that dragon don't chase the dragon it's not going to fulfil you. You could still chase the validation and the success. But what's great is that you can do it on your own frigging terms is your ideas. It can be your art and you don't have to wait for somebody else to say, yes, and will that lead to success maybe not necessarily but the opportunity is there an infinitely in the long run? That will be way more rewarding invalid. You'll be fulfilled and I feel like It's it's It's definitely worth your time to be making things like all the fucking time and like Kevin was saying like just making things even if you're like Oh shit is sucked, don't look at that as a failure and don't look at that as a stopping point look at it as.

"If you guys have never done that otherwise, we could just jump into the format and just just you didn't you didn't think you were going to be coming into an interview environment but guess what you are enough softballs. Now we're coming with the hard ones back in one, thousand, nine, hundred, ninety, six, you said to Becky Johnson, and she quotes. Becky. Yeah. That fat ASS AIN'T GONNA move its. and. tweet right here. We've got becky Johnson here today Becky come confront Kevin. Spring right I thought it was a real thing. No I just I just really there's probably a lot of people that. Watch. Our Shit and are amazed at the editing because you're so good and Maybe you could talk a little bit about your editing beginnings or something or like where where did you learn how to add I started with stop. Motion Lego's Lego. All old cassette camera. And then I just didn't I never ever since that ever since I started doing that I just haven't ever thought of life not like I just kind of automatically made stuff with my friends and so over time I would just if I want to do a certain video, I'd try it out and then. It would normally suck and then I still feel that way. But over time I just really haven't stopped because I just. That's all I feel like doing but did you you grew up in? I. Think the realm of technology a little bit. When you're saying stop motion, you weren't doing that in camera necessarily. Camera. First, ones yeah we're in. Because it had the camera I had had a button four stop motion where it just recorded a frame of video. So you could just click it and it would it almost took pictures but it was you were taking pictures. Yeah. That's interesting. I remember being really obsessed with stop motion stuff as a kid too and and doing claymation a stop motion thing as a kid I remember being very fascinated by stop motion and. I had this. There was this thing when I was like I. Don't know maybe eleven that you like it came with like a tiny little film camera like really small like a like a really cheap small. That like remember the like the The rolls of film that Kinda looked like you know like vast and then you. Get into the camera so you could stick around it, and that thing was bigger than the camera and so and then it came with this tiny little poll that you could like set up, and then it had clay and then you could take like photos basically like like like polaroid or not polaroid's. But whatever the fuck that film stock is, and then you could anime clay and then you you. Take the film role to the fucking development place, and then you get it back and then you have like a flip book sort of and I remember doing that Kinda Shit way back in the day before there was like digital stop every kid is momentarily fascinated with the concept of stop motion and I think every single kid tries and ninety nine point eight percent three photos in they're like nope. fucking. Yes that's Right, and so many products for kids tried to capitalize on the the the the interest of stop motion, and try to get kids interested animation and stuff and none of them were like. Because it's not easy to do. It's not just thought as hell yeah. Tedious Kevin Do. You feel weird that you started making little films and stuff as a kid and you've continued to do that and that's basically what we do at the valley folk. That This is fun. Let's do it as as indoor thirties of that's cool. Yeah. It's the weird thing that a lot of people don't. Think about is the time in between all these big things happening. and. That's like kind of the most important part is like if I think back of there was times in my life where for years I wasn't really making videos that much I was thinking about it and I would think about stuff like that. But there was a time when it was just. Like I I didn't think this would ever come to be even though when I was a little kid, I was still doing it. Yeah it's really fortunate that we grew up in a time where I mean now kids can do crazy but like even the FA- I mean fifty years ago it was like if you were a kid, you couldn't just go and make a home movie. No. Real phone or payment in general is I I mean I haven't grown I. That's how I've grown up is being in this type of world with it but. Even. The I was around when you too was just starting right as I was Kinda just starting. So that whole thing the fact that. That's a career path. It's so simple to the amount of youtube videos that. Are Huge in our career. Builder, are so simple to do jody. Easy to me. Joe. Are you writing this down A. Mother's Day gift. Any mother's Day thoughts. Would was talking about it. It is just it hearkens back to everything that everybody was saying back when we we first started around that time and even started before that because it was happening on the Internet prior to Youtube was just happening in different ways and I go back even to high school when me and my friends were making things which I'm hoping that I can transfer some of those from vhs tapes that I have to digital show you guys and maybe do that reaction show with you but we have to do that I. Make. US Account. Yeah please make us accountable and continue to remind valley available.

"In a time where you're angry intelligence. Dark. Listen. I'll listen now because I have no idea what you guys are talking about I'll send you some Steve never watched it when even the basic video he sent was great. No I. I The music video for the it's called law their song. It's them all out in the streets of La with helicopters passing by it's big riot protesting the police are done well era. It was filmed like weeks before the whole Pantheon before all the George fluids stuff in the whole album sounds so relevant even though it was all recorded in two, thousand nine, it sounds reactionary. There's some. Yeah it sound reactionary, but it was all before everything that went down. So it's like it. It blows my mind how relevant did Elliott I don't mean to. Point you out, catch you off guard, throw you under the bus whatever you wanna say but I and I know our audience isn't hearing 'cause you recording your audio but I'm hearing like maybe beard scratches from your microphone on your headset maybe. Did you guys hear that too? Yeah. There's little scratchy scratch when he's really yeah it's actually when he talks I think we're hearing your you in discord through your headset mic. So maybe just as a Mike on yeah yeah. Good call my friend. So, just make sure that's not scrape scraping your gorgeous beard. Hang. On I know what I can do I. But I can get. I think it's good. As long as I bet, you'll find another pair of headphones in the meantime on my speaking of music quick tangent. I just came back from my trip to Salt Lake and we drove and when you drive, you listen to a bunch of music after a while I was just going through old stuff and I discovered. A president of the United. States album that I never listened to before. Two Thousand Four L. P. E.. P., B. B.. And it's called love everybody and I'd never heard it before and it's Great for the first few tracks. But there's a bunch of songs on there that I'd never heard and I fell in love with one's called love everybody listened to that. The one is called. The Postman is stealing your love letters or something like that. Yeah. Also, really really good and then the rest of a lot of the rest of the album I wasn't as enamored with but I read I found something new from an a a nostalgic ban that he used to. I started with their their first album with lump peaches and. Dune buggy all those great songs on my kids. On Tech Tedium and. If you. Yeah. That was a great band presidency United States of America was like a gateway to like novelty like funny music super ridiculous. They were. They were a jewel in the rough grunge era kind of. Like you know to like a Wean or like a fountains of Wayne kind of like. We might be a little deeper into the weirdness realm, but they're on them to be very comedic and and. They don't give. Yeah. I haven't heard them at all. Oh, no way. Dude. You've read that Song Lump because Weird Al did a parody called gump and it was a forrest gump thing what what year were they more? Popular hundred, Ninety Five. Something like that. Okay. I have to retroactively go back and remember what album lump was on for or Gump was on for weird yeah. Let me try to doing you're doing math like they teach in common core now but with Oh. Yeah. Yeah. Like I know. All about the Benjamins came out around ninety eight, ninety nine because I know that running running with scissors weird thousand, ninety, nine album. All about the pentiums on. Doing Weird Al Week. GUMP on bad hair day I think it is. Yeah. Yeah. been about ninety seven I. Don't know why I remember all that ninety six, ninety, seven attitude. I remember I have a weird weird AL memory of being in grade school or middle school wherever the fuck aid, whatever age or whatever fucking grade we're out when that album came out bad hair day or which one was. The one that had is off the deep end that had the gangster's paradise payroll is bad hair day it was better area so bad hair day came out. And I remember for some fucking reason. I don't know how they allowed this or why they allowed this or what the fuck, the point of this was but. For some reason, they let me bring in my cassette for bad hair day or whatever OECD or whatever the fuck it was, and we got to listen to the whole album like in class off. Teacher was like I got nothing plan this week for the loud one. What what do you WANNA do I don't understand how it happened like I. Don't know if I asked or I don't know if I brought it up or something but I remember sitting there everyone like around the radio like in the old timey when you listen to like like little orphan. Did. You know. That we just put the. fireside chat back in World War Two. Award. On, the radio but it was like I remember just be like oh Really, funny listen. Shut up here comes. David. All right. Well, David's not gonNA everyone's. CAN WE TURN IT UP? The First Weird Al Song that I knew of was from an album from Radio Disney that we played. And it had just a big mash up of a bunch of songs like Mambo, number five. Poke. Yeah. That's one of his many pocus Kevin. Focus, are so good I love him. And then he did the star wars which what's the name of the saga begins? And that was my introduction to weird Al Long Long time ago in a galaxy far far. Yes. Okay as far away. So anyway but I we could just we could Kiss Kevin's feet this episode and ask a bunch of Shit. If you guys have never done that otherwise, we could just jump into the format and just just you didn't you didn't think you were going to be coming into an interview environment but guess what you are enough softballs. No one is not gonNA click on a video with just me and you Joe or God forbid just you and so now in one it's all of us and we have Kevin Plank he are wonderful. Creative person editor shooter extraordinaire and I gotTa be honest with you guys. If I could if I may first of all I, know you guys know this don't talk to me till I had my morning Avi and second of all. Kevin you and I have never been on a podcast. I know we were talking about really live. This is the first. It's the first time in this. Yeah I don't know if I like it because I. The only reason I started was because of a Steve's Steve podcast in the first place. Well, tonight, you guys I really started. About this in passing and not a lot. But I thought about how like. Why haven't we been on a cast together yet and I think it's just worked out that way on my end if feels like it's just happened that way naturally but I also can't help but feel like your avoiding being on a podcast with. Because This is how we all connected through. It's like don't eat your heroes, right? Thinks. So podcasts and now that he's on with you, he's going out the truth man Joe. Highly edited. Kevin's own editing and saving the podcast. Elliott, Joe. I'm glad you said don't meet your heroes because not only is this the first time Kevin and I are on a podcast together. This is the first time Kevin and I are meeting so nice to meet you. Thank you. Yeah. I'm a big fan of your work your work man you've been editing our stuff for like four years now and it's like, yeah, nice to meet you finally to put a face to the editor you now you guys have been ships in the night. For. Sure always dismissing. Excited because I'm sure you guys did the fucking already like Kevin. What's your story? Where where'd you go to school and Shit because you guys have done the podcast with Kevin so we won't do that Shit, but I also maybe have you. We kinda did but we don't have to. Ask the hard hitting. Go to here's the thing I know what you Kevin Defile here's the thing I respect and admire Kevin and I. Think you're an incredible artist, incredible creative editor and I am it's it's an absolute pleasure to to be. Under your banner of creativity but But and I think it's interesting to know where the fuck all like wh, what's your inspirations and where the fuck did you what? What's your story because? I know there's a lot of people listening to this probably feel exactly the same way that the three of us do about Kevin and I we all share the same feelings about how creative and great you are. But I'm sure there's people listening to this show that are like, all right. How do I become a cabin where to Kevin Starr? What's all Kevin Shit and so so how are you remaining inspired during all of this cabin? Thank you for being here. It's weird to think. Like where I started because, I feel like I've just been doing it constantly. But. Yeah, the inspiration I you know that's really weird. I'm finding myself at least through quarantine I can't get inspired by shows or movies anymore like watching shows and stuff for me has been like it's gone the only way I can feel like a sense of enjoyment was stuff right now is with music. Interested. A ton of. Music. Do you think it's because you're kinda tapped out on video content because were so stuck in our homes that video shit and visual shit is just on constant loop twenty, four hour that it's this idea that the magic is gone whenever I watched something like Oh, yeah. It's because like. I'm just constantly nit-picking anything I. See now you're watching it all with a critical eye damn critical I yeah. Way congrats to critical eye and making millions on. So. Much money. Can what I mean are you like me in terms of listening to music in? So much as you only listen to run the jewels, one hundred percents the now or Elliott and other things as well. I listened to other things by Elliott sense as. Run the jewels and I've been obsessed ever since I'm I'm near. You I would've never expected you to be somebody who would enjoy that type of music. I'm my by their T. shirts. T shirts. That's a big deal I. Don't think you even have a Weezer t-shirt. I do. But especially me I. Just there's certain. There's something about it. That is just really really good and the be is super good. The lyrics are super good. He Does A. Pocket I'm real obsessed right now. Yeah I'm glad to hear that. What else are you listening to? You gotTa Love Angry Angry Intelligent lyrics in a time where you're angry intelligence. Dark. Listen. I'll listen now because I have no idea what you guys are talking about.

She will always be missed and he she just wanted to give her an extra special shoutout from The podcast so named named Boo. So everybody Let's say Shadow to be one three one two three shout out. Can I say something on the note of veterinary stuffer for last There I think is a misconception about veterinary medicine where people take their animal to the veterinary clinic. And then they look at the bill and they're like they're gouging me like this is not good prices For one no. They're not prices because it's expensive to have a pet but also the majority thirty of veterinary Income comes from people who are like the top tier clients people get their dogs checked every six months like they do all these crazy things to like. Give them extra care. Are they buy the insurance. They do all that stuff And so the the veterinarians are not typically trying to get their rocks off by ripping people off and it would be nice if people had less hesitant to take their dogs to the veterinary veterinarian. Because most of them are are just going to give you what the prices is. Are there good and care and love and understanding and Charlotte sorry for your loss. But I'm glad you had an amazing Companionship Boo for the longest time Again chat to I love Charlotte and Yeah thank you for more support through this and Yeah it's a nice that's nice. The only the only reason is because I read. It has become filled to the brim with things that that are not music. breaded is alive with people. That are so weirdly in line with my sense of humor that I'm creeped out. I enjoy it. I don't read it myself and I'll make posts or comment looking at it. I look at it every day. I like it a lot do you. Not I'm I'm all about ready. You seem like somebody who would be about right. The country are going about like halfway over over. But here's the thing first of all we're going to be a little annoying about promoting it is going to be. Although ticket links are going to be in the description of the videos because the goal is we have offers to do stuff on the east coast but We don't WANNA put ourselves in a bad position so we're doing a little early leg to see how it goes in Santa. QNA's meets greets happy times. Yeah come come let us meet you and talk talk to you because I think if there's one thing we've learned it's that people like we talked. I'm a little upset. You're not talking about how insane it is. This isn't like cares about it. It'll be very strong. They do not even saying it's stressful. But I think it's fun and impressive. This isn't like this weekend and the next we know in the next weekend. This is sketch fast in San Francisco. Get on a plane go. The Denver performed the next night. Well worry about that later. But it's very we're GONNA. It's GonNa be exhilarating can be very. Ah I think it's going to be a nice test to see how we're doing and also just be like here's some here's the here's the I mean it's kind of in line with what the content is currently which is has just sort of insane. Yeah Vary insane stuff as Ryan. I were talking about earlier. There's a little bit of a the shift in content is becoming more absurd. I like that a lot so I can only hope that translates live shows Kevin. How're you doing Kevin Black everybody? I'm doing well thank you so much. Wow yeah the second. Most important announcement is that Kevin is here. This is your second second or third podcast. A ferry pot ban we did it. Exclusive Gustav Shit here everybody. How're you doing Kim? I'm doing all right. You know what happened today. I woke up very very tired like very tired. One of those days that yeah. I don't want to get out of bed tired but I gotta get out of bed and that lasted and then I was like. I'm GONNA do a cold brew at starbucks so I got a Cobra. Tired and angry angry and nervous. Pumpkin cold brew. No just regular Nari Cobra and it spike wrote my body. Excuse me in Adrenalin But my brain is still completely dead. So now it's just a very weird feeling to have that so that's what it feels like. That's I know exactly what you're talking about and it feels like your your existing two feet outside of yeah like your body. has this feeling. I thought I'd turned it off. I'm sorry my fingers are excited but my brain is a a lot in my chest. My chest X is it the heartbeat. If I felt my heart beat. It wouldn't be fast. Yes not AH. That's good that's good. Sorry 'cause the the reason though that sometimes you wake up tired is not really. You're not waking up out of sadness you wake up out of the to rise but not literal clinical. Yeah it's hell stuff man. Yeah I know man. I'm sorry joining us here should we. Should we elaborate before I just. I just don't want you to elaborate abry but at the same time I don't want to I just don't know pressing should people. I just have a mean like all my thyroid in cortisol levels are all messed up. If people know what those are Terry Gland doesn't work right and so then I'll have days where I just wake up completely. Just what does the pituitary gland is actually does so cute a free and name what it does to put but like it controls controls your testosterone. Cortisol all your thyroid levels so it doesn't work then. None of those are going to work and your thyroid and I know this because of what my wife life is going through She had a directory recently. But I know exactly what you're talking about because once all that stuff is is outta whack the especially the thyroid. You'll it's it's like I'm going to sleep for three months and you can't and but you'll have you'll be up because that's how we all work you. You can't sleep three months at some point you're up and it's just but just so it turns into mental grap of like depression staff and everything. Yeah it's a big cycle and you hold it. You don't hold it in. You're very open person but you also don't lead with you. Don't walk you don't yeah. I don't because if I start wallowing in it or even thinking about it too much then it just kind of demotivates me completely. Yeah you know what else is that. I'll and this is me with my own personal stuff and again The journey I've had with my wife is you also I don't want to be defined by. Actually how young you are. You're you're at the age where even even tired. You have probably more energy which I know I can tell you got that drive arrive and that young man drive where you're you know you're taking life by the the balls as they say And it's like you don't want to be known as the guy or the guy I and it's like you want to be known by your work. I think you are by the way your what you do is is like. It's visionary it's we're GonNa Change Your bring a lot and we're GONNA kill that right now we're gonNA totally had enough. You've had time. I mean you guys riding on your talent and it's time to ride on your sit so yes I don't like being defined by the things you can't but yeah you're you're writing the nightmare not to speak to you that we've just talked about it a lot. That is you know it's it's there's nothing that's more frustrating than not getting answers. Yes on a medical level would know about Joe. Yeah which which which. I've been swimming in but then going to these doctors and institutions institutions in hospitals and. You're getting it younger than when I got it and my family got it is that you realize they're not superheroes are they are Kinda gotta guess and check their guess and check out of education and they're just try they're using you as just like Like dartboard but they even admit to it themselves at least it sounds like I'm just gonNA guess we're going to go with this because I don't really know what to do and what you don't know what to do so he's there a And I don't know if you know the answer to this but is there like an end game involved in this. Is there like a because they know so little. They're just let Yan game is like Whoa. Let's is just hope it starts working again. Wow Do Yahtzee. I'm telling you every time you go to the FRIGGING DOCTORATES Cup and flee your yacht so you're a full house and sometimes uh-huh rolling management to it's like almost just let's put a bunch of bandaids on treading water kind of what the main was it. was it. You said work again that it worked before and all of a sudden well because it goes. Yeah like because it's trying to control like I'm on medication for like two saw shown for vert thyroid and buff yeah And stuff so it's like we have to you know what else I'm I'm on which is gonNA draw a little bit. I'm on a woman's fertility medicine. Yeah because for some reason the two Sochaux Gel l. went like spiked to Sasha grown up insanely so they're like let's just try this and it's like okay now it's at a normal level just using this so I'm on that when did the when did the testosterone spike. You probably like two years ago two years okay. Yeah and that. Did you notice raging out. Well I noticed the area `Grande changed her brand. Yeah okay more full ponytail when my yeah you made her change we were all there. Kevin you start making this about you. You've reverberated throughout the assistance. No but the I remember feeling super stressed stress. It wasn't a good feeling it was like a constantly like I dunno on Edge Bruin out uh-huh define what it is to be like a dude just stressed out all the time and felt angry about things I couldn't control it was crazy. I don't know who you are. But you're all part of KAPPA. Kappa Blackie whackier kappa. Girl or boy was the Greek system at no one knows right so today. You're just in the tired zone. Yep but this isn't quite as bad as the day I would've told I tell you guys this is yeah. I can't Dan do any. We shut you down swift. Don't WanNa hear love that idea. Read it okay. "Bill Plachy on Doug Gottlieb, filling in for Dan. And nets. That's a good song. I heard that song on my on my ipad. Iphone or whatever. The thing is forgot. Bruno Mars, I know who doesn't like remorse. All right. But it was it was more in the delivery of the I have that thing on my eye. Whatever. I got I got it. I got that. That is a groovy. I in fact, I was given for Valentine's Day, I talked about the great Valentine's Day gift. I was given. I was giving a ask. Hey, Google thing. We ask Google something. And they turned your TV on. Yeah. I can turn my own dang TV on. I don't know if I need somebody to turn it on for him. I know we have reached the we have reached a point which make things so much artificial intelligence. I have no idea how to use it. And I probably will never even take it out of the box. Yeah. Fascinating. Is there there there is this thing, which is is fascinating to me. There's idea of collusion. Right. There's there's people covering major league baseball who say that there's collusion. And that's why Manny Machado hasn't signed. That's why Bryce Harper hasn't signed that the league is looting against these two star talents who are not yet to reach their prime and their desire to get three hundred plus four hundred plus million dollars over over an eight to ten year period of time. But is it possible Plaski that it's not collusion? If everyone comes to the same conclusion, which is, you know, eight just probably isn't worth it. Because it hasn't worked for any other team. That's giving somebody in eight to ten year deal. I would agree with that. Except there are a hundred we're talking about a hundred jobless free agents one hundred in industry may. Makes ten billion dollars a year. Sixty percent of the team to look at your your looking at listen, I'm not. Born into. Number. So sixty percent of the teams right now are under the luxury tax eight or eight teams are more than one hundred million under the luxury tax. And yet there's a hundred jobless free agents out there. So it's about more than Machado and Harper..

Ravens name Lamar Jackson starting QB, with healthy Joe Flacco the backup

"Ravens announcing you'll stick with Lamar Jackson, even though Joe flacco is back. Oh flacco is the back up. Now, Israel UK with teams hurting to Lamar fulltime. I absolutely am. And I've said this before when you draft a quarterback in the first round your goal is to find a way to get him to be your quarterback of the future. They don't just do this on a whim and say, hey, look when our Jackson's their oh, we have a quarterback. And Joe flacco at let's just draft him. Anyway, we'll figure it out. They have all these ideas in mind. And so when you bring in Lamar Jackson, and he does what he's been doing. And having your team win in an entirely new unique system and somewhat argue he can remind you of Michael Vick a year or two if he developed a little bit more. I think this is an easy decision here. When you've been sort of an on Joe flacco for the last show up Plachy how ravens here. Yeah. Some people will say flacco should lose his job to injury. He lost his job with a foreign five records of starter. Lamar Jackson three and one is the starter pack are actually star losing his job the minute the draft. Lamar jackson. He changes his team over over one hundred yards more rushing per game. The more yardage per game with him in there. There are different team there a different look harder to defend. It's a great move. I'm glad they made it it's tough move. Because Harbaugh flack was very. Are there? But it's really smart.

"But overall, I just don't love him guys aren't playing the game as a form of sort of improving what they should be. You don't know what's going to happen when he goes to the next team if he's even still going to be happy because because of the contracts he gets I don't love it. When guys decide not to play. And then when they come back. You don't really know what you'll Plachy? Would inbound on this panel take a Twenty-seven-year-old running back who's the best in the league who just had a year off? Everybody would at people. He's smart to set this point. He's all in wealth with the money lost so much money. Anyway, sit out his value much higher. If he comes back next year, healthy rested twenty-seven running back it all works. Very guy. Sola? Bill. You got to football teams in L A start paying attention to the sport there in first place. New York you got zero. Well, God flat buys ING him to sit out. And he's already lost ten million dollars at a position where the window is so spoiled at any moment, you can get hurt. This makes no sense to me. Who's to say you sign him? He might not hold out. Again. You cannot tell me that LeBron bills helping value by now, I want more I sold over splashy. I Bob Ryan. Now, I'm not gonna mess. What I saw tell you. Look the answer. The question is probably higher because the I subscribe to that theory that sitting out a year is a good thing at his age. He saves so weird carry year. We're in Tehran, a body at Gary's position, I think that and by the way, he doesn't have to improve. Oh, yes. To keep the rate of regression down. If he's telling me ten percent less than what he was last year. Hey, still a top five back in Chinese by what Bill she said. And of course, Plachy solo. I mean, this might get very physical. But the idea here Bill are you saying that we could see other players take off an entire year? And it would be a good thing for them and their. Career and could dry not the players. The players have no power at all. Once they can be cut. They can be used. They can be abused this way. He takes time off gets his legs healthy what's the one knock against running backs? Is that they're great. And they don't have they have a short you'd like to add to that. He's losing ten million dollars by not playing. He's already lost. It. Frank because he listened to you, and he didn't show up and they're in first place. Let's not forget that they're not as James condos right at the top of the writings that's not forget that when the team is in first place right now as well. But that job that good job Clinton for with you. Fred year. I said that typically that doesn't really affect though, whether this is going to be a success for lady on bell from Libya on bells perspective, maybe from the Steelers perspective. But from Bell's perspective, not so much. We've been horrible move on. Now gets one fifteen Celtics one zero seven let's talk.

"And you capitalize on what you already have basically more is betting on himself. I trust in me, and my coach that even if we get into a rebuild. We can get guys in free agency that other teams can only get through the draft. I think it's a good move for both sides to see how you my first inclination would be to say like Jackie try to get better players in the deal, realistically. Butler wants to be traded. He's gonna be free at the end of this year. And you know, if you can get four ones even spread out like that. And if you can reduce or get rid of the lottery protection. On the later picks. Now, if you're the coach of the GM, you don't wanna do it because you're not going to be around to see those players. But if you're the owner of the timber wolves you're going to be inclined to say, this is the best we're going to get for him. Let's make a play for. All right. If you're the coach of GM, maybe not inclined if the owner maybe client, how about if you Karl Anthony towns, and they tell you could have a first round pick in seven years from now, we'll add afraid at some point. Wondering what team the timber wolves will be in two thousand twenty five Plaski. How about you, Tim, you should've trusted your first inclination on this Jackie's? Right. This is not a great deal. And I think Minnesota there's no way they could take this kind of deal given up all given up this player. They'll get more for him the longer they wait when teams get more desperate. They Houston's got to win a play the heir, Gordon, and they'll never do that. And again because all what do you? How do you sell your fans? How do you sell your current team and GM coach will forty so should Houston? Get him. They'll fill in the blank Houston is what would Jimmy Butler Plachy. Oh, I think they are championship contenders with him. But I don't think they'll get him show number two in the west with maybe a better chance this year against the warriors last. This is what they were less just Spain. What do they would Jimmy Butler? Yeah. Number two in the west because I still number two and Jackie MAC immeasurably better defensively, but they're going to have a few more. It gives them the jump to get over the warriors. All right, real quick questionable for tonight. Jimmy Butler stomach coincidence. Who does we will? It's. Gas eleven teams of comeback to to win. It recently though. Nineteen ninety six dodgers bats have been shout out their strategy not worth be or so I read Google. Dole. Committee. As rolling back. What they Bill is this the break the dodgers. The dodgers need is that they'll finally have their first string out there in this game. Is that the Red Sox right handed pitcher that means we'll get max Muncie into the game? That means we get Cody Bellinger into the game. That means they'll finally play their top three home homerun hitters in the game. That's the break. They need is. Analytics thing went crazy. The last two games guys discussed this. But now they'll have the best line of on the field and their best pitcher in the last three months on the field. Welcome euler. He's got a one point nine three era at home, and none of the reds only one of the Red Sox ever seen him before. So that's the break they needed and they will win tonight because it was breaks build you think Dave Roberts, erred, not throwing the lefty bats out there. Just because of a match up. Well, the question is who aired somebody aired? We're never quite sure if it's a front office or for it's Dave or it's a commingling out here. They're very secretive about that. Nobody really knows exactly how that's made. But somebody sure messed up. So that's how. In Los Angeles sees it and he's predicting LA win. Let's go to Boston. Jackie mac. How do you see it?.
