"So we've got a bizarre muguruza semi. We've got a quantum versus either sabalenka or Zachary semi. Are you going to make a tentative fiction Joel as to, you know, after, we know you kind of three or four semifinalists who is going all the way to lift that title. It's a tricky one, isn't it? I feel like the form you gotta go with the form players, I think, and you know, I'm sensing yeah, I'm sensing for some reason I'm just sensing coming through and badosa kind of just coming through, I think that for me, very much could easily be the final. I think I actually think piza the way she's playing the baby is making me think she could be a contender for the Australian open. They come January, given, given what I've seen from her, you know, I'd love to see her against ash party in Melbourne, because I think she's playing some very, very impressive tennis. And she's playing she's playing these big match ups with some real real kind of fire and desire and I was reading that she's now 20 and 8. So one 20 lost 8 against higher ranked opponents in 2021 after she beat Maria sakurai. So it just shows that she's able to kind of elevate her game depend regardless of who the player is, if they're playing, she's playing a high rank player. She's completely fearless about it. And I think maybe that might carry her through to the finals. So I'm going to go for, yeah, but final. And maybe I've got Paola dosa winning it for some reason. Okay. So yeah, I know I know there's more probably celebrated names like muguruza, you know, is one of my fan favorites when I always make dreadful predictions for at the grand slams. So I'm going to stick away. I'm going to stay away from talking about muguruza and go for another Spaniard in Paolo pa dosa. Yeah, I feel like I'm going to attempt fate, perhaps once more. And I might predict muguruza for the final. I feel like it's going to be a muguruza cultivate rematch again. I think they're going to meet again in the final. But I feel like cultivate might get the better of her, but it will be a close three setter. But yeah, I mean, it is tough to predict. And just the dosa, yes, she has been beating her ranked opponents, but the higher she goes up the rankings, you know, the tougher that is going to be to kind of carry on that upset. But that's a bold statement read the Australian name. And I'm going to be holding you to that in two months. You can remind me that when we make something but let's move on to links now, which is obviously the WTA event taking place in Austria, T 50 event on the hard courts. We were speaking last week about Emera Khan, being the top seed in this event, Simona Halep being the second seed. Neither of those players won in the end. It was the 8th seed, Alison risk that came through to win her third career title. Quite a quite close fine or 7 5 in the third set against a Romanian lucky loser, Jacqueline Christian, who was the player who dressed up as a contestant, yes. Yeah, which we loved in Pennsylvania. So really nice to see her getting to a final after that. I know. Recent escapade? Yeah, it was a mad run, really for Jacqueline Christian because she was a lucky loser. And lucky losers in WTA finals do not happen that often. And in fact, in the final, she was bidding to become the only the fourth lucky loser to win a WTF WTA title last month and to do that strangely enough was coco Goff inlands in 2019. So I don't know, I don't know why lucky losers seem to do well here. But yeah, she did have a good big bit of good fortune then, 'cause you know, she lost in filing around of qualifying to sarren co, came through as a lucky loser. And then Peterson in round two retired. Halep gave her a walkover in the semifinals. So she had some, you know, she had some pretty nice pretty nice bits of luck, I think, happened all along the way to get to the final, but she was paying some very good tennis as well. She defeated her in the quarters, 6 three 7 6 saved a bunch of break points en route to that victory. So that was very, very impressive from her, but I mean, let's just talk about Alison risk because yeah, she's a player who I think is, you know, is one of those who is a very good tennis player, but I've always feel like we talk about her when she has like injuries and those injuries tend to kind of not her off her kind of schedule for quite a while. And I think this season, I think the first half of the season again, injuries really did not allow her to play tennis. But once she was able to kind of step foot on the court, you know, towards the end of this season. She's been playing some pretty decent ball and I think she got to the final of Porsche earlier on a few months ago where she lost to paulini of Italy. So I was quite glad to see her, you know, get to another final and come through and win. Because she does have a game, I think that is very well suited at particularly I think to an indoor hardcore. And I think that's one of the reasons that got her over the line in the final against Christian. Yeah, we always sort of associate her with grass courts as well. And actually, I think what I know she has one her talking Bosch, but I don't, I think, you know, her other title was also an article. So she hasn't only one on grass courts by any means, but yeah, she's had quite a tough injury, sort of strewn, first half of the season. But since the U.S. open, she's been on, you know, pretty good, pretty good run, really. And I think, yeah, like her her experience did probably come through and you know, she was fortunate that Daniel Collins retired in that semifinal as well as both players getting into the final with a bit of luck. I think it was a pretty rubbish day on the semifinals of one set. You would not have wanted a ticket for the semifinals, would you? Absolutely not. But yeah, I know really pleased with Alison race which is very likeable player and please for Christian getting to that stage for the first time in her career. And, you know, her game is quite exciting, quite aggressive, very powerful player. So I have to see if she can make the most of this opportunity and make inroads and perhaps you'll dress up again as well at some point in the near future. It was a bit frustrating because we hadn't all Romanian semifinal between Christian and Simona Halep, which could have been could have been quite interesting. Simona Halep did pull out with an injury. I know that I can sense from the Twitter message she put out how frustrated she was with that because she's not won a title this year and I think she'll look back on this season pretty honestly as a pretty ordinary season, maybe even a season to forget. And I think she would have been disappointed not be able to kind of step out on court and yeah, taste victory tournament, because going into the season, I don't think she would have expected to obviously be in this position..

"We'll see. We'll find out. If you need chemistry, maybe Jack Peterson's your guy, but we'll see where else the egg you spend their money. People are definitely going to overpay everybody who just helped the braves win the World Series. And then we're gonna wake up on June 1st next year and be like, why wasn't that good? No. Why isn't it happening again? That's just baseball. Paying the two. Paying the 2003 Marlins in 2004. Why do we have Karl pavano? Game basic deal. So before we sign off real quick, just want to deal with, you know, something that kind of caught my attention. Not gonna draw. We've been conclusions, but it does feel worth it just to point out as we enter a prospect trade season everybody trying to move people around, move the chess pieces, do whatever you're going to do. Anthony won't be as now not just a fast riser. He is the consensus Yankees number one prospect. There's no debate here anymore. Adjusting. Now I'm on a live stream everybody sees my foot adjusts. Sorry guys, I'm gonna adjust my Anthony boulby is the consensus number one top prospect. Baseball America just came out with the ring. He's again, we know it. It's great. Can't wait for him. He's gonna arrive some day. Love it. Hometown pride, exactly what I want Gary Cole to be. Yankee fan from birth will be New Yorker, New Jersey guy, amazing. Number two on baseball America's new list. Oswald peraza. Yeah. Also a shortstop. Also similar timeline. People are saying 2023 for both. And that's great. I don't think both of those people are going to stay. No, Yankees. At least not through the trade deadline. But most importantly, Jason Dominguez third. And part of that's piza and volpi just playing extremely well and playing a really important position. Some of that is Dominguez's first taste of Pro Bowl wasn't quite as effortless as maybe some people expected. Some of the baseball America article talks about how if he reaches the ceiling it could be a projected regular in center field now. That doesn't mean it projected MLB regular. It's a tough ceiling the hit, but then again, that's not Mickey Mantle, that's not Mike Trout. That's not quite the Jesus thing as we were promised. And it's sort of a cautionary tale in that look, you know, nothing wrong with being the Yankees the best prospect, pretty good system. He's going to have to show a lot more in 2022 to keep this pedigree up and it makes you think about what really is untreatable. Is that untreatable is a slightly less shiny center field prospect who's not going to make the major leagues for three more years, really? Not something you're willing to part with for a José Ramírez or a mad Olson..

"Hey Hi hey our you. I'm doing all right doing pretty good glad to see you. Yes that is you. It's been a couple of weeks since we've done this or even. Just <hes> Dunn's enrolling been on the role the road and all that stuff yeah and so <hes> were you on the road before I was were you owe you went on camping. I didn't I did go camping. Yeah we went camping but the the boy scouts they actually just the scouts. Now is a ladies as my daughter. She you know ladies are involved scouts. Now Children are mixing is what you're saying yeah yeah. It's a good way angering you know yeah so it was it was interesting anyone camping right during like a essentially twenty or storm a twenty year <hes> rain rainstorm back to back days and hail and all sorts of just waves of water there. was you know there's there's been a lot of water this year in general right yeah. That's been a very wet spring but yeah we did get woken up it. It like six one morning there. Every campsite has shelter. You know it's like a concrete bunker basically so I mean six. Isn't that early when you have when you're getting up early anyway 'cause like if you're sleeping outside as soon as the sun comes up in June in the Midwest. It's too hot for me to sleep. You know so I'm fucking right right so you know we just had to go down there and hang out but <hes> yeah scouts is <hes>. I don't know it's it's. It's an interesting enterprise. I think they're going to have to make some changes in the maybe the culture to to like get a bunch of women in their you know what is what kind of changes are wise. Why do you feel that way? <hes> I just think they're doing. I don't know I think I think a lot of the things that the scouts do don't even think about are just shit that men Kinda do other fucking around and there needs to be if they're going to have women in their indefinitely. There's some of that some of that. Lady Culture is going to bleed in there too like Louis C. Three Boyhood Saderat yeah. It's very it's like boys club. Ish You know I mean you know. There's no there's in. There's nothing wrong with that. It was it it was a boy's club dream for many years but I think they're serious about having now since it's not you gotta figure out the Orientation Yeah Yeah and there's there's a good stuff going on there you know with the the the the activities and stuff so I remember <hes> I don't know how the fuck this happened but I was out with my grandpa and we were out at in place called greer Arizona which is in the white mountains of Arizona and there are some neighbor kid there. That was an eagle scout. My GRANDPA had a big goner for this guy because he's like he's. An Eagle Scout was such a big fucking deal you know and so I was like mad at this kid because I wasn't in boy scouts you know and <hes> The kid was older in this kid. was you know some sort of fucking sink like figure who could start a fire also with you know his bare hands and all that stuff and catch catch fish with his toenail you know and and but this kid like the first thing grandpa finally splits the scene right Grampus Eric Piza. It's go ahead and get on the guys like hey you wanNA smoke a cigarette. You know the good to near our real cigarette. He had a bunch healing rolled up paper. He wants smoke paper with me as terrible. It's terrible terrible so this kid like had nothing to offers a fake eagle scout stolen valor yeah so I've always been mad at you at at boy scouts yeah and you know I was also feeling mad. 'cause I wasn't involved with boy scouts but then then this fake AAC fucking Ass Eagle Scout came along trauma basically charter the pants off my grandpa Madison still mad about that. Did you ever tell your group of the truth. No I didn't WANNA like crushes. My GRANDPA's dreams you know is like you know we like. <hes> wrist is life <hes> <hes> for the free world in Italy in had come back to this fake as Eagles Scott Yeah so I didn't want precious dreams. You knows what your GRANDPA funding was at war too yeah. They went up to Putin Bro. That's right Italian e stories now. He was pretty cool about it yeah. They Never WanNa Talk Yeah He. He didn't flex nuts on the thing he's pretty bummed about. The whole experience you know is when a geek he got on Bugging Soldier Soldiery People and Just Make Tell me all their shit you know the this affair I did see some pictures of his deployment in Italy and the pictures so Tamin a bunch each of his you know there's like him on top of like a they. They captured a German vehicle like a personal carrier. There's him in like a couple doorways of like some old Italian villages but behind them. It's a lot like the pictures you see in Syria. You know today just bricks from fucking miles you know all the horizon is bricks and fucking burnt would destroy shit yeah. Let's <hes> yeah so it's a yeah those guys were moving through <hes> with greed vengeance. You know furious anger yeah <hes> inlets see so I went <hes> I was in the fucking basically right off the surface of the sun in Arizona an Dan lies in the in Las Vegas that Satan's armpit. It's fucking hot out there buddy. It's so fucking hi. It's like e can't even fuck around for seconds out there though you'll be you'll be peeling in the second one of the things we went to this <hes> of the a desert botanical gardens in Phoenix Arizona and then they have in addition of course all these different cactus and you know in the desert trees like the poverty and you know there's also like I'm GonNa skip the name air but there's in all sorts of other kind of a actual would trees besides like these sort of fibrous kind of fibers cactus tripe trees but the Indians would that lived here before we came or lived in Arizona before we came around they actually replicated some of the shelters that these guys that the Indians would build out of like Choya trees and like cactus basically and it's like you get into the shade in those in these like shelters and it's like twenty degree difference really is yeah. Eh you're standing in the shade. I learned this last summer in albuquerque standing in the shade. It's ninety five degrees outside. It's not that bad but if you're in the sun forget about it you know it's like it's terrible and that's interesting interesting because if you're here in the shade and on ninety five degrees superhuman day you're still hot. It's fuck. There's not a lot of escape with it with a high humidity. That's for sure yeah so there is a there is a cost benefit thing going on there. I guess in also got to go for one night in a fabulous downtown Las Vegas which is kind of like a bare knuckle experience. You know it's pretty roughly yet shit though I do. I can't stay in Las Vegas. Sir Downtown Las Vegas. You know what can you not. Standbys don't like the whole thing like the I like hanging out gamble and every now and then we'll tell me what what rubs you the wrong way about saying <hes> now. It's just I <hes> now come on it. Is You know it's just a home. Speak Freely on the variety are the whole Bala Wax. It's like the you know I do like the food. There's some good restaurants in Vegas for sure. Get you can get a the great meal Vegas. That's one thing that's okay. That's true but you know I don't like I don't like I don't like being inside at a casino where there's it's like. It's like a hotel slash mall slash sixty different restaurants. I just I don't know something about that. Just doesn't do it for me is like I would never I would go there like if I was there for fight. I go look around wherever but <hes> I'm not going to go like if I'm trying to book of vacation of a Private Vegas Yeah I mean that's what that's what a lot of Las Vegas is is that sort of your plugged into their equation. Whether it's your gambling equation era or this this sort of <hes> this entertainment equation yeah entertainment site slash consumer you know you're just there to spend money in consumed in every turn especially down on the Strip every turn you make they chip off just a portion. You know not all of you. There's GonNa Shell vote thirty went there. Oh you're getting shipped off just biting off Bernie. That's right. They don't bite him in half they just they just take him chunk junk junk the small piece Bernie of here and I'll raise these votes and then nobody win. I guess well that's what happened. Last time right. Yeah it only got railroaded by Hillary and then basically a lot the people that would have voted for Bernie voted for trump. You know that would not I could you go from that to them because you know Bernie and trump although you know very different approaches to the whole thing they're both they both essentially bomb-throwers you know both flip nab occur and and whereas Hillary's nowhere near that equation and so a lot like like I said that's where I think the Democrats are right in the middle of trying to figure it out it's like do we need a bomb thrower or or do we need a steady eddie like a <hes>. Who's his job Idaho? Yeah Joe in in so that's why you're getting the sort of back and forth of we're GONNA fuck an abolish private healthcare <hes> versus <hes>. Hey wait a minute everybody daddy. You know there's a way there's a middle ground here kind of thing that you're getting from from Joe so we'll see <hes> we'll see I think the Democrats are certainly capable. fucking it up yeah definitely I mean they fucked up before and trump is as shown his ability to continue to throw bombs uh-huh disrupt the whole fuck and the whole seen. He's just he's going hard. Toys been going the whole time and it's yes and certainly that he's he's got that thirty five percent unlock. It seems like they're ready to go to like he might be able to do it again. Well Oh the the odds haven't shifted much. It's still it's still <hes> fifty six percent Democrats <hes> <hes> that the Democrats are going to get the White House then. That's you know it's forty four percent trump basically so as to all right well it was thirty three tour at the end of the election was thirty three percent chance to trump is going to be elected according to the markets people just buying and selling it people putting money where their mouth is you know and even if it's not a ton of money it's still money's my other sort it yeah and you'll make a good decision with your with thousand bucks. You know that's that's better that's to me. That's better indicator than like asking somebody on the street honestly Isley. Somebody's putting money up for opinion basically yeah like if the camera you know camera lights go on that put the microphone for new face. You know you then it. You're hedging your your. There's all sorts of hedges. It's not real announced didn't have any skin game if you have an anonymous thousand dollars. It's like okay. What are you can do with thousand dollars? Let's talk about it. You know let's talk about just making a decision without wondering my one thousand dollars you know the end of the day. I WANNA increase one thousand dollars with his bed yet. Were if I'M GONNA take a risk I WANNA be properly compensated for this. You know <hes> and so that that's kind of where things are at right now. Not a big shift. What wait what we saw? The shift we did see was Kamala Harris off the strength of of this one of her Amer Joe Biden <hes> went up in odds in terms of she's actually on par now joe with Joe to get the nomination but it Sumer fucking early yeah girl. She's going to have to do more than just give Joe Fuck and hard time about you know I am <hes> working with a segregationist senators. You know which you know if if you were in politics twenty years ago or thirty years ago you're GONNA be Nielsen. fucking segregation sanders just can lael Democrats yeah yeah. There's they're. They're in their <hes> voted lead that they're elected officials but Joe should have to answer for that like how did he deal what did did he do. What his dealings or his end of the day decision yeah that's fair? Yeah that's fair. I don't. I don't really like I this is this can go back to just explaining how old Joe Biden is. He's like Dan. Did I mean I appreciate that you wanNA still work and stuff but you can't be president just too old yeah well for a man like you would give a lady. Maybe maybe more leeway in that respect. Okay victis averages right well. They feel like he shielded from that because I guess he's one or two years different than than than trump so that's he can't bring that up about Joe. If if you don't bring it up about trump but of course you know age affects people differently I saw Joe in the pre roll before they started the before they started the debate and just like they were. They had the cameron amuses. glad-handing people role in you know the just hey how you doing type shit and he's he's very measured in his movements. Now <hes> probably in the same way I try and be you know not. I'm not trying to whip around is I'll throw my backout or something you know. How do you feel about Joe Biden in his touchy his inappropriateness kind of not inappropriateness dislike? How do you feel about him but the way he is? Women is a Weirdo or do you think he's just Kinda like like old guy. It's also that's how it's a weird thing especially..
