"How. Another movie. That I thought about when we started talking about this was at Troy. Starring Brad Pitt. said that he would discuss the Brad Pitt. If you're a relatively new listener. Maybe you don't know this, but I actually am not that attracted to Brad Pitt and I know that that is blasphemous. Is it for some people are no I, think Brad Pitt is, he's a good looking man. Recognize that he is good looking. But he looks very. You know he really is blonde and blue. And that you know again I've talked about this before. That doesn't do a lot for me like you have to be more than just blonde hair and blue eyes. So there has been maybe like five times where I was like. ooh Brad Okay and troy is one of those times, and that is because his thighs. His. Like you to give me a recipe for chicken. Amazing, His thighs looked so good in his little I. Don't know what is called the little war skirt that he has you know I. Love a wall, Scott Formation Romo agree. Yes he looks. Really good, yes, very timed in this movie like it's. It's happening in the hot hot sun of Ancient Greece he is like not only is he tanned? He's kind of always sweaty. Yes, they're at war so. He's very oiled up under the really great photo from behind the scenes where makeup person is touching up on the the grease on his thighs. And, it's lovely. Put that out this. I will have to find that. Please if you. Ask Me. I'll find it fully. I hear what you're saying. Brad, Pitt for the longest time I could not get into for exactly the same reason like O'Hara's a prescribed fancy. I'm just not gonNA like society. Culture Blah Blah Blah has told me that this blonde man with his blue is is the person I'm supposed to fund fancy. So actually fuck that. That was a big part of it, but also genuinely I would look into like I. See it. But. It's not for me right right that change the little bit when I watched. A river runs through it, sir. Yes a little. Okay now again. and. He has long hair that. Like a wild child like he's out in nature, his fucking hunting and share. Yeah, and I have to say at that point I was like Oh maybe some points who may? again with. That one Louise Yes gas shutout to the female gaze of that movie I know that the director was a man, but there is that seed which Davis's character. Thelma is about to kind of have incredibly hold Sakes with the Cowboy Aka Brad Pitt. Again a mosque loss in amazing, female gay, the cameras lingers and still, and he's a playful young beautiful in it, and you can see elma having fun, and it just feels like a really sort of like. Oh, my Gosh, and you know what's coming at the end of the movie theater like you know what get you deserve the. Yes, about to die five. Yeah, get his views. But again like you I've had like four or five now recently said on twitter that I had slowly come around to finding Brad Pitt again in his old age. And I guess it turns out like I said before I'm quite basic, so maybe this is me settling into basic NECE I. Get into my full tease. Who can say but again you're right the something about him in Troy, the is incredibly appealing. And tries a bad movie objectively speaking. With a gorgeous witnesses! That has pledged that the winner. When allow the loser all the proper funeral rituals?.

Yeah, I got to say to one more shoutout to Seeger in honor of the Detroit Golf Club hosting the Rocket Mortgage Classic. You go back to the Tarantino movie I love so much Once upon a time in Hollywood, Murph early on in the movie and coach, you could jump in on this. I know you're a big fan to Cliff boost thought, man and kind of the apple of my eye. In 2019 I got a huge man crush on Brad Pitt is Cliff Booth what he's driving around in his convertible, and any first goes to his little Ah, trailer home in the back of the drive in parking lot to feed his dog when he's worn down the highway duties bumping early Seeger like earliest possible Secret fund. "CLARIFY USC stance. USC decided that it wanted no part. Of a booster that was tweeting what USC perceived to be hateful and unacceptable and offensive thoughts and so. The tickets were revoked. The the ability to contribute to the program was revoked. They just drew into sand. It said No. This is unacceptable period. We're not dealing with this ever and. Think that's a start, right? Absolutely. Absolutely. Now you're from New Jersey and Here in Pennsylvania I'm wondering this is more of a personal question. Do you notice the difference between new, Jersey and specifically western Pennsylvania in terms of progression of racial awareness, because we've heard a lot about Pittsburgh's attitudes on race lately and I'm wondering your perspective is somebody from another state WHO's lived here for a while. that's an interesting question because people always assume that because new, Jersey. In a small town, right outside of Manhattan so I was kind of in a suburb of new. York City, but people always kind of assumed that New Jersey is very very progressive state I. Don't understand why, because we were the last date in the north to abolish slavery. So you know kind of from the beginning. We didn't start off critically new. Jersey has a lot of issues surrounding racism specifically within our public education education system. I dealt with a lot of racism. In the public education system is something that is still prevalent in local communities. I grew up in a town. That is you know it prides itself on diversity. It's known as one of the. It's almost a model community for other neighborhoods across the country. It's all it's often compared to Brooklyn. despite all of those titles and word, it is a community that has a lot of issues especially with regards to race and so. I think the main difference. Is that between Pittsburgh? Wearing grew up in new. Jersey is that Pittsburgh is an urban area. There are a lot. Is it genuinely a more diverse community? I think that town that I grew up in new. Jersey is actually losing its black population right now, But. What I will say I think I come to realize is that. Even though the conversations might not have been going in the right direction in new, Jersey I think there were more conversations about race and everything that's going on and part of that might have been my involvement in what was going on in the public schools. You know I might have just been thrown in there, but You, know in my four years at Pitt. It's one thing to be on campus. Students always talk about race, but when I step off. you know there's there? There are a lot more conversation that we need to be having in order to in order to fix or begin to fix these problems in the century. And hearing specifically here in Pittsburgh. Absolutely? Yeah, well, we're trying you know. Thanks for coming on with US this morning. Jordan really appreciate you making time for us. What do you do now? You graduated right. Yes I got hit in an ankle. I'm going to actually working for their potato for a year, the policy coordinator and the Office of Equity and then I'm going to the University of Pittsburgh School Loft. So a few humour years left in Pittsburgh. So you'll be hanging out here. We'll good we're. We're glad to have you here and maybe you can convince him to shave because it's just a bad luck. Here. All right, we'll agree to disagree. Thank you appreciate your time this morning..

"Quite nifty nifty trick. We spoke about Michelle Maroon from three sixty five days, which cutlasses for phase. Yes, I was talking about Brad Pitt and pick about him in Troy in how that is an unequivocally bad movie in which Bradford is maybe his. Top three. Yeah! So I decided to settle Brad because. As I said before. I don't actively fancy Brad Pitt like on a day to day. Basis homes up every so often. You know my goal as a feeling. Butts in the lost five. Three two one year. I am more consistently finding Brad Pitt attracted, and it feels like just give into it. I like this is just middle age like I'm just settling into that period. Just before. My fourth is kind of like well. The food has changed yet again. Hormones a difference Ray, right? He's also giving off. You know divorced dad. I made some mistakes I need someone to help me energy. Energy I'm sorry, something a little bit. It's a little bit of a sad energy, but right. It's a really high energy I like I like a man who has the debt for sadness. If you don't need to be sad all the time, but you know that you know what that feels like. It's like that's all all of. This is a very long preamble to say that this travel this week is about Brad Pitt and I hope you enjoy it, Nicole. I'm sure that I will I'm ready. She said in had nicest voice and show that I will. You go baby babe like we're at Church. All right. I could hear the telltale. Creek of the Hammock in use in the backyard. My confirmed my hypothesis came into full view. Reclining in it, one arm dangling over the edge with head tip backs, the sunrays caught the brightest flex in his bed was Brad. Even at rest, his lower lip was always near to simply fuller a now. It cooked in a smile told me he caught the sound of my approach. Beneath him, the dog sat patiently in the shade is at half mast and a tennis ball nearby for when both men and dog were ready to resume the world's laziest game of fetch. Now Brad scrubbed his hand over the lower half of his face, the same face I had told him years ago was way too pretty. He wore the bed now a standard and only minimally groomed my preferences. That's what he said anyway. But I thought it was his way of trying to claw back some substance. Something that added to the basic pilot of blond and blue. When I reached him, he rolled onto his side and unfolds that slow smile, the full wattage of which always caught me by the throat. He snaked an arm around my waist, pulling me in until we will flush against one another. And then with his hands played up my back..

"Yeah. Advocate the flood that was like his signature episode. He was amazing in that and I think. The reason I bring this up as you know, we always compare NBA players and obey situations to movies in the Rewatch I do feel like by the time he got to ninety eight, he. His trade value is about as high as as. Anybody, right it was as high as. Leo Matt Damon I think what the expectations were, so it's weird. I feel a little disappointed without turned out I, think he made some good movies he never won. An Oscar only got nominated once I think, but he had a Lotta Mrs and Maybe, that was part of the problem. Maybe he didn't really totally know how to pick a good script. He's definitely one of the most meadow careers it was. It was like when he was still any are he was making those more traditional blockbusters? In a weird way, perfect storm is like the last movie where. It's almost like he's playing it straight. And then after that I think even maybe to some extent, the Ocean's eleven movies, the only downside of doing that was that it was so winking and so Kinda tongue-in-cheek about the idea of being famous or the idea of being buddies with a bunch of famous people and N, even some of the conventions of movie making that it seemed like going forward, he was either really ernest or really really cynical or satirical about being in films like. When you watch George Clooney movie I think you're always kind of grappling with like the George Clooney celebrity while you're also watching the movie. Right. Brad Pitt had that, too, but overcame it, he did he did especially like in a movie like moneyball, which was a charisma performance, which we covered on a previous episode of the rats, also physically transforms in a lot of his roles, whereas Clooney is really only done that in Syria and a fucked up his back, and like he basically like I got to the precipice of being like I'm having like pretty much a physical breakdown playing this role. And one Oscar for it, but was still like you know still I think kind of like came back out the other side. We're not going to see him. Go through those kind of like Edward, Norton Brad Pitt kind of transformations. I think he's like I played George Clooney Yeah. That was Kinda his tornado when he got hurt, I met removed him. From some action thinks his best chance. Actually win best actor. The NBA MVP of of the Oscars was the two thousand eleven season. And, he's in a category..

"Is a good dad but there were times when I was younger and I watched it and I was like. Oh He's annoying like it's all about your perspective. Who are in the movie. There's a part where they're at the dinner table and Paul who is vibrant warrior energy and doesn't compromise in. Paul doesn't WanNa Finish Brad Pitt. His own meal and Paul just sits there for hours because the father says you know the God has been giving us open to eat for centuries. It's not the responsibility before you're old boy to tell him it's good so he just sits there and So yeah very firm. He's firm and he loves them. Yeah it's like and again it wouldn't work today. Meaning this like you've a lot of the things that he did. It's it's for his time but I guess what I mean is that his I just. I grew to care about him more as I got older. And and how obviously I know you love Brad. Pitt's character the most. I assume. But you liked Norman to yeah or did you love Norman or Paul more Crank Craig Sheffer played his name. Yeah I loved them both. I love the dynamic between the two of them. Brad Pitt was more charismatic. Obviously feel like it was supposed to be the artists. Yes a newspaper writer. He never left Montana whereas Norman he went out and get married to Jesse and they went to the University of Illinois. Jesse Yeah. Who's that actor? You'll know I was just gonNa Emily. Lloyd is her name a senior in a bunch of stuff. But I wouldn't be able to pick it out Tom. She is so cute She she was in not a lot of movies that you know. Welcome to Sarajevo while you were with wish you were here. There's nothing else. I see that I've seen her in the what part I remember. Jesse is unfair to Norman. Because his Jesse's brother gets drunk and hung over and they go fishing together and Yeah. He's kind of tour. He passes out and he get sunburn right. And Jesse Blames Norman. Right like come on take responsibility for your own actions. Dude I know passed out. She was kind of being a mother. Figure anyways okay. So here's the scene. And it's after against spoiler alert. Paul ends up dying And this is after so this is just a little bit. After that as time passed my father struggle for more to hold onto asking me again and again had I told him everything and finally I said to him. Maybe all I really know about Paul is it. He was a fine fishermen. You know more than that. My father said he was beautiful. And that was the last time we spoke with my brother's death and seeing Yeah I don't know I always I don't know why remember that line but just the fact that you know a father calling his son beautiful. You never hear that adjective. You know you hear Dad. Say He's tough. He's What he's kind but beautiful is a feminine word. As far as that's the way I interpret it so I just loved and what he meant. Was You know because Paul had issues a gambler? He was a drinker. You got of trouble. He was beautiful. Beautiful purse and physically obviously. Is Brad Pitt? But right and that's what he's beautiful obviously because he's Brad Pitt. But he was a lovely human being. And that's what he meant and he would like. I said he was an artist. He was an amazing fisherman. He was amazing. Fly Fisherman and why I like that scene if I remember correctly todd you could see it and I couldn't but he's an old man. Yeah he's thinking that and to see the passage of time and again. That's Robert Redford during the narrating fuel lake when I was watching it for the first time I kept waiting for the bad thing to happen. Yes and I didn't know what the bad thing was. But you just knew it was. Paul was going to get some tapes in shark. Yeah and then. They're waiting in the morning to go. Fishing and Paul is late. So I'm like freaking dead. And he shows up. Oh my God. He's thankful yeah. And then they drop the hammer. Whatever twenty minutes later in the movie and he was gone. Yeah so all right so that was my number three and that was my number one. So what's your number? Three number three is. Let's see one two. Oh true romance now. It's not on my list. This is more about the movie but fricken Floyd Brad Pitt plays pothead named Floyd and I do. Floyd quotes to my buddies to this day and true romance is just a it was written by Quentin Tarantino directed by somebody else. I'm sure Quinn wanted to direct it. But he was too too green and too new to do it. And there's a few parts to floyd so Brad Pitt is a guy who smokes weed sits on the couch and watches TV and James Gandolfini plays a hitman and he's knocking on the door and this is what ensues and we'll maybe you can help me. I'm looking for a friend of Mine Clarence Wurley from Detroit chatting with a real pretty girl mel about no. They've been by here. You see they stay in no this thing at the safari motor motel in Safari town safari motel. How do you know not have you been over there? No they were here and they said that they were going to go there and they went. This is a three and a half minute clip. I'm not gonNA play anymore. Actually I got to play more. So this is a group of other bad guys. Are Trying to find Alabama and Christian slater and a budget guys show up with guns so he's just took a big hit through a bowl or whatever it is. I'm not a week guy but so he starts laughing when these guys walk in because they have guns pointed at him. So you know Clarence Wally. Es We can find them. Yes I do. Or where as e but reinvest whereas go no. Go down go down. Beat's smoke full or go down Beechwood and drive while you're GonNa turn right and then you go driving and you keep Dr Floyd okay. This is so weird but is that a Chris Cornell Song playing in the background sounds like he's just saying the Brad Pitts doing a movie about him so the movie was in Nineteen ninety-three and Tony Scott directed it just kind of a big deal. Did Tony Scott to top gun or so. Tony Scott actually. I was just listening to a podcast. The other day about the difference between Ridley Scott and Tony Scott are brothers and debating. Who's movies were like? Ridley. Scott did gladiator. Oh Yeah Tony Scott did I mean they have one of them take their own life? I feel like that's true. I don't know why Tony Scott did top gun beverly hills cop. Show the last Boy Scout True Romance Crimson. Tide am an enemy of the state okay And then Ridley Scott Gosh. I don't remember todd. Oh I apologize for not knowing something so sensitive but I know I kind of feel like. It's we don't know so but it sounds familiar. Unfortunately something happened. So I'M GONNA blow your mind when I say this. I have never watched true romance. Oh my gosh I know I don't like it. It is violent. It's a Tarantino movie like I know people have said to me. Oh my God that's but I think it's when you watch it like you watched it when it was big and so now it's moved with you and I think at this point if I watched it it might like What's the what's the one with? Woody Harrelson the killers natural born killers. I tried to watch that movie for like the nets and I think you you might lay true romance by the way. Tony Scott died by suicide In August of two thousand twelve and I told by some friends. You don't want to say commit suicide. You WanNa say died by suicide so I'm trying to practice that crazy like crazy successful man. Yeah and there's always a story think about Ordain yes. Remember that years ago so long. There's so many stressful. I only have one left so I think I have to but I think my both of my two. I'm surprised that you don't have both of these my two. I'm I omitted one. Yeah oh I think I know which one to left. Don't you cited sleepers at seven Detroit? Romance in a river runs through. Okay so my number two is tree of life. Guess and that is my last one okay. So tree of life do number four number. I started.

Annouce key doctors and thank you so much for taking the time to join us today. I really appreciate it Great to be here so we ask all of our guests the same question I. How did you get where you are? What's been your academic and industrial journey. You're also very involved in the reps conference. Tell US everything well. A wise man once told me that careers are only made retrospectively and I have no idea how he got here. There was no plan. It went through a sequence of stages starting with graduate school at Princeton in theoretical physics. From there when I finished that I for reasons that have to do with the field of physics. At the time which was a little bit more bummed I went into neuroscience so that was a post doc and then from there that's when I met. Geoffrey Hinton and had changed my life because we met him at a small seminar here in San Diego and set nineteen seventy nine. We hit it off and From that over the next few years you know blossoms the the Boehner Sheen and back prop and you know. The rest was history. Terry who you post talking with where you post talking in San Diego no no. This was a post doc at Harvard. Medical School in the Department of Neurobiology with Stephen Kofler who was widely considered to be the founder of modern neurobiology and It was an experimental post. Doc I actually recorded from neurons. Subic seventy nine. You mentioning physics. It was a little bit more bond a in some sort of connection modeling. That was also a very quiet period. That wasn't a lot going on it. Was this sort of age of classical. Ai Right you're absolutely right. This was in fact. It was the neural network winter. The seventies and it was primarily because of the failure of the perception. That's neat because you say failure of the percents on I read about that a lot. Do you really did fail. All was the men's ski paper little. What the mid ski books are in Minsk. Eighty books have killed it but was it a fair representation. Well you know it's interesting. I think that that's the myth that that book killed it but I actually think that there are other things going on and and Rosenblatt had died as well which seems pretty significant. Yes well He. He was a pioneer. But you have to understand that digital computers were regally primitive back. Then you know that even the most expensive you know the biggest computers you could buy. Don't have the power of your wristwatch today. Rosenblatt actually had to build an analog device. It a million dollars in today's dollars to build a analog device that had potentially otters driven by motors for the weight sums the learning. Wasn't it potentially because you know digital computers? Were good at logic but they were terrible. Doing a floating point is amazing so he built that at Cornell. Right that's right yeah Funded by the owner. Any case by by the time that we were getting started computers was the vaccine era. It was becoming possible. Do Simulations You know they were small-scale by today's standards but but really meant we could explorer in a way that Frank Rosenblatt couldn't so what you're saying around the perceptual and so just forbid of context for Central and sixty one. Is that right? It was fifty nine. I think it was the book but you know it was in that era of early sixty zero and so then there's this period where the digital computer actually wasn't powerful enough to do much and then digital kind of overtook and divinity but these analog machines would just now impractical from a point of view of expense. So you're saying it's less the book and more of a shift to the Digital Machine. That in those early days wasn't powerful enough to simulate the perception. Yes so I I have you know. I have a feeling that history will show that A. I was like the blind man looking under the Lamppost. His keys and someone came along and said where did you lose your keys He said well somewhere else. But this is the only place right can see. I was reading Donald BACI quote. I recently At the beginning of his book about the I which is just a fascinating area and I guess he spent a lot of his career and he did work in in the wool on radar and he was talking about the Radio Club. Which is these early Cybernet assist and the potential of the analog or digital computer to be what represented the brain and his perspective was he. He was sure it wasn't a digital computer and he wasn't sure it was an analog computer either and he thought it was kind of somewhere in between but it feels like that in between is what you're saying is that was the difficult bit to look and perhaps a police were able to look now. That's right I you know. It's I think it's being driven. This is true all science that what you cannot understand is is really determined by the tools that you have for making measurements for doing simulations in it's really only this modern era that has given us enough tools both to make progress with understanding how the brain works and also with a because of the fact that we have a tremendous amount of power now but just to go back to that early era. I think you know I once asked L. Annual you know who is at Carnegie Mellon and it was a time when Geoff Hinton was an assistant professor and I was at Johns Hopkins and I you know he was at the first fifty six meeting at Dartmouth or a I was born and I I said well. Why was it that you didn't look at the brain and for for inspiration and he said well we did. But there wasn't very much known about the at the time to help us out so we just had make doing our own and he's right. That was a era. You know the the fifties was kind of the the beginning of what we now understand about the signals in the brain. Actually potential synoptic potentials. So you know in a sense. What what he was saying was that we basically use the tools we have available the time which was basically computers but what they were good at. What were they good at? They were good at logic at rules. A binary programming. So that you know that was In a sense they were forced to do that. That's a really. WanNa come back to nine hundred seventy nine in a moment but this is an interesting context to that because of course. Vena initially was someone who spread across. Both these areas of Norbert Vena who was at mit founded cybernetics spread across both these areas of the analog and digital he did his PhD thesis on Russell and Whitehead's book but one thing I was reading about recently is there was a big falling out between Vina. I'm McCulloch Pitts. And it's sort of interesting. That Vena wasn't there at the I. E. T. in fifty six and I sometimes wonder was that more about personalities and wanting this sort of old guard to stay away because you always feel veto with someone who who bridge these worlds it. You know that's the fascinating story. I actually wrote a review of a book about Warren McCulloch came up. They were friends. They actually had had been friends yet. It has something to do with their wife's. Yeah I think the lifestyle McCullough was not line with its a side story but but I guess the point you're making which I think is an I'd like us to take us back to seventy nine and the meeting with Jeff is and I think that that's true. Despite the story between humans the real factor that drove things then was the sudden available at a t of increasing cheap digital computer. And no longer the need to do this work that Rosenblatt and McCain and others had done having to wire together a bunch of analog circuits. That you couldn't reprogram to build system. Yeah I think that was a dead. End It for the very reason you gave. Which is that you know you. It's a special purpose device. That isn't good for anything else. And and really if you're trying to explore you need the flexibility of being able to try many ideas and that's in that really is a digital simulation allows you to

What Happened on BitMEX During Black Thursday

"Wrote an analysis. This week of the bit Mex- liquidation spiral that occurred on Black Thursday march twelfth. I actually covered this in an interview with Kyle Simoni on my other. Podcast unchained earlier this week. But I thought that your post head some additional insights over. What is the largest bitcoin price? Drop since the MT Cox Implosion. Give us an overview of what happened at bit. Max A couple of weeks ago. So Big. Mix diversities platform that allows people to trade with high leverage bitcoin. And we also had Going on in the world and some people decided to sell bitcoin in quite a lot of any triggered sort of vicious cycle as more people sold. Bitcoin people training on bid mix with leverage would call liquidated which physically amplified the cycle. And it all ended up somewhat dramatically as the next but for mixed breed in some issue which turned out to be a sort of intentional attack. Which stopped this shoe. Strap on Black Thursday So we spend a bit of time last week looking at executive why not and also looking at a deeper consequences of this event. They stood only that the price talk but he left an impact on the market structure of on bitcoin speak next Lucille outside of tracks and for listeners. Who didn't listen to my episode with. Kyle you should definitely check that out because he talks a lot about some of the triggers of the first price drop and then why there was a second one about twelve hours later One thing I do want to mention is that at the time we recorded I was not aware about the de Dos Attack on Mexx. Which is something that Antoine wrote about? So we'll dive more into that but before we do that Antoine in your post. You wrote that bit. Next is perpetual. Inverse swap is critical to bitcoins price discovery. Why don't you describe what that financial product is and why it's so crucial Su Prior to maxes product basically yet to waste two main ways to trade. Bitcoin was the Gould. Like Mangakis you're GONNA exchange Someone Nipples bitcoins you deposit Fiat or the way and then. You exchanged a defeat for Bitcoin bitcoin to Fiat Your the way that Pitt. A bit later was schooled futures away that unable strating of what a bitcoin in the future but the event the innovation of Product that replicates the structure of Lefty Neck Mongo Stamp Balkan pace but allows us to trade with leverage so instead of having to deposit one bitcoin to trade one bitcoin. You can know what being and trade one hundred. Bitcoin is has a lot of us in for many use cases for people to make a quick buck on price movements. He could also be people in a half bitcoin and want to hedge deposition the thing the prices to drop the deposit five bitcoin and transform that into extensive. Donna white for the price to trump so this product assery dripping creating in twenty and is I think a novel product. I don't think it exists in traditional finance because this is because it enables training bitcoin with bitcoin which is a bit weird which not a problem not appears in normal finance and is relationship to price discovery with actually studied in in different Research papers is something that is also noticed in traditional markets when future markets on a on a class is quite often that we see that the price is related I on stretchers markets and then on the spot oneness different reasons behind that one of them is easier to move to be bigger trays on on the spot forms. Ask and so in terms of the importance of this platform Then it was quite significant when there was there were some issues of the trading on this hugely volatile day and as he wrote a bit mix suffered Diaz attack at two sixteen. Am Ut see and interestingly the data's actually affected the troll box which kind of is more like a a little messaging area. So how did the Dido's attack work? And why did that affect trading so big action? It was started in two thousand fourteen and he created this whole box basically chatterbox for traders. And even people that admixture interact with one another as time went on. It lost a bit of its importance. But he's still at a time. Data's attack quite deeply embedded like running on the same machine as training engine and someone found a flow in basically. I think it was requesting the history of messages full Spanish dropbox that nobody was using a while and they've found this awhile ago that if requested this his Spanish toolbox history it would basically slowdown website. A little bit and who is behind that decided that could exploit that to basically put the platform to a cruel like nobody could trade on day discontinued usage wet of the chance and decided to use that on the day. Bitcoin was dropping by by And basically stop the the price before when more about how. Why Stop Despising Displacement? Yeah can you go into that a little more because the timing of this really seems quite calculated? What you make of that. The timing was a bit still unclear. If the expected was that by doing it would make the price go up or down. Because you know you would expect that. When the Knicks changes naval in available the price would go down but as that they had been quite volatile of traders. That were long because I wanted to become tries to go up. Ended up being liquidated and big. Macs has these Liquidation engine that ensures that trice your shot nobody loses more than what they put in and as more people were losing their bets on on on bid mix they were thinking of price was going to go up but he kept going down down down. The engine had to take the reverse position of distributors. So the engine has will wanted to sell bitcoin. And so that made it so that the price as multiple as the price down price had to go down even more as speed Max had to liquidate these positions and whenever these who have decided tack triggered it made it impossible for anyone almost people to trade on beat mix and you figure that is as these liquidation engine was but blew the largest seller on the market one of the nausea centers cyst removed from the Marcus. Busy you when you remove a large cellar. Naturally keeping things equal than the clients would go up at least new or stopped going down and he's happened. a bit of a shock as

Angelina Jolie talks about daughters' surgeries

"We're learning now. According to column in Time magazine written by Angelina Jolie that two of her daughters with Brad Pitt have recently been in and out of various surgeries. Angie wrote a personal essay in honor of International Women's Day and she kind of praised her daughters in how strong they've been throughout all of this. She wrote quote. I have spent the last two months in and out of surgeries with my eldest daughter and days ago watched her younger sister go under the knife for a hip surgery. They know that I'm writing this. Because I respect their privacy and we discussed it together and they encouraged me to write. They understand that going through medical challenges and fighting to survive in. He'll is something to be proud of and quote. I hope everything's okay This sounds like scary. I don't know what's going on with Zahara. But she's the oldest daughter that they're talking about being in and out of surgery that's gotTa be scary as hell anyway after. This piece came out in time. Magazine page six swiftly came out with some anonymous source that spoke to them about Brad. Pitt missing the BAFTA. 's and they confirmed that he missed the BAFTA awards for Zaharah's surgeries Brad Pitt missed the Baptist to be by his daughter's side as she recovered from an operation multiple sources. Confirm to page six end quote. Unclear if they're talking about Sahara I'm guessing they are since shallows the one with the hip surgery which just now happened page. Six added that quote. A friend of the family confirmed that Pitt who dedicated his Oscar win to his six kids stayed home in La to support his daughters however the friend admitted that Pitt had never spoken publicly about his kids and never will as Jolie spoke out in a Time magazine. Essay published Sunday in honor of International Women's Day Jolie wrote that her eldest daughter fifteen-year-olds Zahara and one of her younger daughters Shiloh. Thirteen were operated on end quote. Is it just as the source from Brad? Pitt's side is kind of shading Angie. They're like Oh she talks about the kids but Brad doesn't like come on so boring. I do not like Gwyn Brad and Angie like fight with each other. I think it's it's Kinda gross mostly when Brad does it and she can do whatever she wants. She's been through enough the real takeaway here. In my opinion is that Angelina Jolie has had this column in Time magazine for a while now and I'm just now learning about it. This is fascinating. I looked at like clipped her author name and I read some of the other headlines. It's mostly like international humanitarian causes and stuff but this personal essay for International. Women's Day is definitely an interesting turn.

"Welcome back to this psychotic. Podcast still don't know why most of you listening but thank you for being here. I'm not upset. Justin is off frolicking in Los Angeles but by 'em back from the Oscars yes. I'm rich now anyway. We are so excited to be joined by two very special guests. This extra episode of Internet Eighty Welcome Emma Diamond End Julie Kramer from the Brulee and comments by slugs instagram account. Hi thank you for being here this fine morning. I'm sure if you're listening. Marcus you probably already follow them. They are icons legends in the making chaotic evil. It's so good to have this kind of in the day. Can you first tell us where we can find you guys online? You guys have some one off counts too so if you want to drop those ads plea yes or main account is at comments by celebs and then we have some offshoots so comments by Bravo comments by bachelor comments by athletes comments by influencers and most recently comments by Tick Tock because we have gotten into the tick tock game. How does that feel? Is this new for you? Guys to talk obsessed. We're fast fast. I mean to clarify where spectators. We don't do talks ourselves but we are absolutely fascinated. It's so insane. I feel like every time I don't watch. Tv talks during the day. It's like strictly for when I should be going to bed but I want to be up until three Just like letting my brain lose itself. I'm just I'm so that's maybe the different episodes like I'm so fascinated by talk and interest are so down so for this special episode. I'm really excited to hear your roundups of like the best and the worst Oscars obviously were this weekend. This past weekend any immediate reactions to like the Oscars emotions. Okay I had a visceral reaction to Brad Pitt. I was saying that on our pot roast this whole award season. I've kind of had it. I guess he's just been out of our orbit a little and then he came back in swing and swing. Yeah Yeah and there was a couple moments where I was like really need to compose myself was when he was being interviewed by Jerry Harris from sheer celebrities unfamiliar. You have to watch on Netflix. It's one for the books and Ellen. Degeneres basically had Jerry Harris. Who's one of the breakout stars of the documentary? Come and be her red carpet correspondent and his interview with Brad Pitt. I could not get enough like I was really losing it And then him and the Egeland with something and then the speech. I mean the whole thing I was I was really a in all. Oh my God I thought we could talk about Brad Pitt. Literally for out. It's just like I feel like we always loved Brad and then this award season. It wasn't just that we saw so much of him. It was like we forgot about this. Personality has and he's like so charismatic and so funny it was Oh. My God is the best part of award season easily. Yeah I was going to be like we could do not episode about Brad Pitt but I was like we could do a whole podcast. My God a series. Yes Yeah I was GonNa say the moment I blew my back. How specifically was the tongue moment when he was like say he? That kind of you know silly joking like I mean one spending time in Hollywood right and then just like that and I was like. Ooh hardly your exam. Yeah exactly yeah that would be. My Rohingya. Did things to my body. I cannot explain because my mother. And so this podcast. I'm so glad to see him back. I mean I also feel like people obviously geeked out at the moment with him in Gen. What awards was SAG awards? Yeah Oh man hand grab the hand grab like heard round the world and you know what's crazy about that hand grab is when you see the actual video of it. It's like a half Issac bright right. It was like the most disappointing thing in the entire world when I saw that video. My world crumbled around me. Yeah I was like I lingered can be. It's like not. No tension built the moment in my head to be like the grandest thing and then when I saw the video it was like a one second grab and I was like. Are you kidding? Oh no I built up this this thing in my mind where it didn't even affect me. I was like I'm going to believe what I want to believe and I don't give a shit. Yeah Her yes okay. We encourage it. But we're talking about providence. Any like immediate negative reactions from the actual awards ceremony or from like snubs and that type of thing because I definitely I definitely had reactions. Still I mean of course like the female directors and different things but I thought overall like it was the Oscars you know what I mean like. It is just the biggest night in Hollywood and no matter what happens and you know who gets left out whatever still everyone is in one room celebrating. Everybody's amazing achievement. Like that's nine Hollywood so it just feels special every year to me for me. I I agree I think for me. I really think next year they need to have a host. Yeah it's same we were saying is that it's so not ground. You really feel as if you're like I don't know what it feels like in the actual room but as of you or you feel like you're just floating you was so nice to come back to a commercial break to Ellen. Degeneres Chris Rock. Whoever was kind of just grounding you and they're really flow and I think that's a big mess right I think so too. I think that's why a lot of like the comedic moments were Mrs like you know. Obviously making jokes about women being snubbed like black people being snubbed et CETERA. But like came from all these different mouths were like. It didn't land because it was too many people trying to make a joke about how the Oscars like sucks representation. But I really really really would love her hosting. I'll say from from being in skirts. I wasn't in the nosebleed seats. Obviously but I was living in giving and screaming but people at the bar the whole time. I'll be honest. It was a commercial break people except for the movies that they were nominated for like dip. The fuck out and go get drunk. Which is like okay so smart wonderful. Yeah and they've screens. Of course playing. You can watch from the bar but even downstairs like if any celebrity went out because you obviously can't come back during the actual filming of it like wait for break. They have people that like filler. People talk and I didn't realize I was a thing and I was like no one's leaving downstairs. Unlike the woman I was like actually like people are just subbing in for them so they can go drink. I mean let me tell you something. Being a seat Filler at the Oscars is really a job. Because next thing you know you could very easily be in between Bradford and Charlie's they're on like it's nothing and then the next time around you could be. You know who who knows you could end up in my next life. I know I was actually. I actually just found me new career but did you think that they were any snubs. In general like any or even just people you wish you saw at the Oscars. Well I mean. There's a lot of people that okay in total. You know this is like US existing fantasy world for a second. We had this. We had this total fantasy the night before. We're Julie Texas late Saturday night. And she's like an additive. Genetic syndromes like walks the carpet with Brad. Shit I think like you know what I mean like no way in. Everyone's like no actually like yeah like we were talking about it. Like they are like puppeteers like we are just puppets and they decided to walk the red carpet together just to fuck with us. We would fall right into that trap and they would have the most enjoyment out of it and the entire world just watching US freak out and I just I just thought it would have been the most epic thing in the entire world of even if it wasn't real they just did it to like mess with us. Oh my God was an. I totally understand people. That aren't nominated are uninvolved that you're not being there that being said. I Miss Meryl Streep in the audience. I Miss Julie Roberts in the audience you know I'd be lying if I said I didn't. I didn't crave seeing them the screen. Yeah I feel like especially when we got what I don't know if it was Oscar. We got Meryl's that like Conic Gift of her. Like getting up and like yeah. Hopping uses reaction. Meam was just like thank you for giving us. I wanted again exactly but I do have to say I've been justice for Jaylo. But she came out at the after party like she gave us. Hi Hi slid yes honey. Oh you're not going to give me this word. I'm going to give you this leg and you're gonNA remember me now. Let that's exactly. Yeah I ain't Gardy. Hairstylists deserves his own kind of award Oscar. That was jim realize what they're her styles have gone into this year. What has gone into running? Super Bowl was a million in one office. We're talking grammy's every single award show she was you know out there. It was like yeah really. You know I think for Saatchi is GonNa make it gonna be okay because of this award season that you might see for Saatchi later on and tell Israel got I think this little small brand. It'll blow up you'll see it everywhere next okay. So if we had to pick Oscars twenty twenty top three moments okay. We already went through BRAD PITT'S TONGUE. Yes that that doesn't doesn't count. That's a life moment. Yeah for sure Giulinai. Something that spoke to both of us was in Laura dern speech obviously both of her parents are actors and when she won she said they say. Never meet your heroes and I say if you're really blessed you get them as your parents that line just I can't even tell you. That was my favorite line of the night. My favorite line of all awards season. You want that on it in a frame I just. I thought that was so beautiful. And then how? The camera cut right to her mom who was crying to me. Take me away. I love him as a date. Yeah we said Laura Dern is just like Brad Pitt's tongue is just like bigger than the Oscars bigger than anything. We also have to talk about that moment from the independent spirit awards. Oh my God the Laura dern is now the best ever and then everyone commenting like recessing. Even the K. Comes out like Oh my God I need it I just anyway. That honestly look you put the Oscars in its place or like come up with something else baby trying to beat so good another moment possibly Margot Robbie grabbing timmy's face was just. Oh Yeah I know. It wasn't the biggest thing that happened. But for me Lupus. I also couldn't decide. Maybe this is just like by sexual culture but like who I was more jealous of. I was like say first of all speaking. You have straight culture sexual woman. I had no legal choice. It's right there for us. All that counts. I almost like obviously the psycho in me was like okay that. Eminem like maybe. That's my top three by feel like we have to end this. On of course parasites sweep. It was just necessary. Honestly people would have righted though if like all. My idea didn't give them the accolades that they deserve. Just truly an iconic film the best film of the year and just like his speeches in general been so good one when he was like please learn how to read. It's not that hard but also his director speech for when he won. Do Mind reading it off. Yeah absolutely so. He said after winning best international feature. I thought I was done for the day and was ready. Ready to relax which we were talking about. It's like here. You think you can kind of just chill out these. Thank you so much. When I was young and studying cinema there was a saying that carve deep into my heart. Which is the most personal is the most creative that quotas from our great Martin. Scorsese and then Scorsese stands up. Yes that moment. That was really Scorsese. Also Better Stan excellence right there..

"Yeah it's it's wait. Who is it Brad Pitt Patio and Robert Deniro? WHO's been in most of? Yeah Bobby I need audition for this one. I'm sorry you're up against against Brad Pitt. Leonardo DiCaprio Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio meet with Martin. Skirt says he at the city of dreams resort in Manila to audition for his newest film. Despite despite their long history of working risk says the two actors learn they are competing against one another for the same role. Leo and Deniro. Yeah Yeah because Brad Pitt. Hasn't been in a scorsese movie as he Not I mean it's weird that we did a whole episode out of it. We'd ever Seven years in Tibet Scorsese. Maybe he loves to Bat. Yeah now because he was Koon What was the name of that movie? Yeah he did and other Tibetan score says he explains that the potential role to muses as they continue to studio city in Macau as S.. Deniro into Capri listen both exhaust or says he with their personal cases as to why they are right for the part. This sounds actually kind of boring. While the three of dinner the hotel score says he becomes inspired when he sees an advertisement in advertisement off featuring Brad Pitt three make their way towards Japan. Were Deniro into Caprio. Make their final cases for the part score says he then suddenly announces that neither I for the role and quickly parts ways with the two as Deniro and DiCaprio wonder why they were not psyched. They catch Scorsese meeting with Pitt. Who had arrived in Japan on short notice Deniro and Decapa then realized that Pitt was chosen for the role and and the two walk off into the night and disappointment? What a fucking field so also the ideas? That Robert Deniro discovered Brad Pitt through an ad. Ed I guess it's like who's this. WHO's this guy? I've never heard of him. I never considered this cast. Robert Deniro has himself Leonardo Leonardo DiCaprio as himself Brad Pitt as himself slash. Aaron Cross us. Martin Scorsese as himself. Rodriguez Prieto Joe as himself in that other guy at it smells like the waiters. You know we're not giving people character. Oh no no no. He's he's the lead cinematographer for Mardi our okay So he's probably he probably has like one line where he's like Mardi. We have to get the shot yeah. I wonder if they paid him. Thirteen million dollars. I mean price paid like more than he's ever gotten paid DP PJ Chinese casino to be like. Hey you know what you need like eight minute long mini episode of the podcast. "Whole storyline wasn't a compelling part. For right yeah. That'd be fine in it tree of life good film. I haven't seen it and I keep wanting to see it. I think that's one where you'd go over the you'd be like all right enough with the art like I know that you're now one of those guys. Yeah but there is a threshold that that you would be. Sometimes I like movies that are just like yeah. There's just like a weird thing being in its art. I'll tell you I liked that movie But there is a museum by me. the Museum of the moving image image that does a lot of screenings and they were doing a terrence malick film festival. Yeah until like. They're playing all his movies on the big screen and I was like I really like tree of life in Alma member so I could go to the five screenings of it not enough to ever watch it again in even in like the way it was intended like thirty five millimeter. So you know. Take that as you will for posters proposers. Voters like me to pretend to like that kind of movie Well here's a movie that wasn't for posers moneyball. Yeah people like that movie. I like that movie is a fun movie you you know what I I thought. It was slight watched it recently Great frigging movie. Yeah once he it is I. I remember he was very good. I can't judge actors. Yeah I don't know if it actors good or bad movie but that's one of those performances where it's just like. Oh No oh this is what good acting looks right. What did he do? That was particularly in Apple. At one point talking is I How much of that baseball player cost ask this is good? He's so natural World War Z.. World Wars said. Have you seen that. It was good. It didn't follow the book that closely. But it was one of those movies where they like. Regional Brooks wrote the book Brooks throughout the bug. Was it mad cap. It was Albert Brooks son now. These Mellberg son thinks he's he's Albert Brooks son now. His Albert Brooks is last name. It's really Einstein that's true. I don't think he's Mellberg son. Let's his name mattress. Chris yeah the number one thing that I hate a podcast that I listen to when they start arguing about something that that they He is the son of actress and Bancroft in director producer. Writer and actor Mel Brooks that is Albert first of all obvious but to the next line in his his father is Jewish breath. Wait you're telling me. Mel Brooks is Jewish. Apparently they got for talks about that war Z.. was was one of those movies where they like Reshot the third act. Yeah and it worked like I think that's why they continue to like re-shoot half of movies movies because this was like in twenty eleven it worked one. Yeah this is like one of the first times they did it and it worked and apparently like save the the movie and made the movie much better so now they do it for every movie twelve years a slave which I haven't seen and I don't think he's like a huge part in that now. I think that was a thing. Well so that's the next one. I was well. I'll say. Hey this one Another cameo type. Role is He's in Deadpool. Two which is a pretty funny cameo because it's a a A superhero that's invisible. And he's invisible the whole time and then when he dies it's because he like falls into a power line and when that happens he turns Unin visible. And it's Brad Pitt. So the joke is like this. Is Brad Pitt. The entire voice the whole time. I don't think he talked was eating and a half the lead any was there just like you know he was doing. I mean he was being electrocuted. So He's gone. Oh yeah that's very funny. Yeah fury did you see fury. I didn't a bunch of guys in tank. I'm of the tank. The tank stuff makes me feel claustrophobic. Tanks and submarines. No thank you yes you would not like this because yes a bunch of guys in a tank and sometimes it's like boy a we're kind of safe in the tank if we get out of this tank right now. We're going to be in trouble but also we say in this tank long enough they'll throw a grenade aiden tank and get us. A lot of that. Might only happened once number. And how long was the film. MM-HMM I don't think the super long Shiloh buff is in it to the beef thing is a mustache and I believe the story from the set was that he refused to shower and smelled very very bad because he was being method. Yeah and those those tank thank guys during World War Two were not a shower and all the time they were in the tank trying to win the war okay. Then once upon a time in Hollywood I have a very weird question and I'm just learning about this for the first time. Okay once upon a time in Hollywood Is Not a true story. Brad Pitt in Lee. In order to Capri whose first I collaboration and I'm not talking about growing pains because I was looking at that episode of growing pains and I think he was before Leonardo DiCaprio's character was on the show. Do you know about the show. This movie the audition the short film. No the audition is a twenty fifteen short film directed by Marty. Martin Luther it starts. Robert Deniro Bobby. Leonardo DiCaprio Leo and Brad pit building fictionalized versions of themselves in the travel through Asia and compete against each other for potential role. All in Scorsese's next film with this just like a Chinese commercial for something an advertisement for two new Asian Casino. What it it's the most expensive advertisement ever produce reportedly had a budget of seventy million dollars? What topping the previous record the thirty three million dollars the actors reportedly received a thirteen million dollar fee? Each for the two days shoot. Who How did they make twenty five minute movie with a two day? Shoot I don't know Marty Florida's paid somebody. We also like a B unit director. I mean he he's in it yes as himself and he's also the listed director The writers Terence Winter Winter who like Sopranos Guy he wrote the Wolf of Wall Street. Heroes Vinyl the TV show a he created boardwalk empire. Okay this he's the world is such a weird place. Yeah I I mean you know. All of them are super talented but also it sounds like they were paid enough that it was like. Yeah what do you want us to do. Yes yeah you tell us and we'll do it. I'm not going to yeah. We have no artistic input here and that's great. That's fine fine. We actually prefer it this way because now we can spend less time on it. Yeah it's just such a bizarre is how was it what was produced deuce to impart by Brett Ratner seventy million. I mean cats is famously MRI like you know a giant flop because it cost one hundred million dollars to me and this seventy million dollars. Nobody bought a ticket to go see sixteen minutes sixteen eighteen minutes long. It's probably mostly just like shots at the Casino. This is wild. Yeah we watch that we should. We should watch that in the nineteen and eighty seven film hunk. Yeah and then maybe the episodes of Growing pains that he's in all right. We have our who. We should've done our homework. Next week will do Brad Pitt Park Art to see all the real shit He was also in Ad Astra. Yeah not to be confused with Ed. Asner ah which either watch it. I keep meaning to you because it seems like the kind of hard scifi movie. That's right up my alley and you WANNA come over and watch it. I WANNA come over and watch the audition. Okay we'll do a double feature. Why do you have it? It's available in streaming. Why do I have to come to your house? I've been trying to convince my wife. She's not into sleepover tonight. We'll watch it okay. I'm in call your wife sleeping over. She what let's just great. You can do that every week to call me to tell me anymore. "Let's talk about some of Bradley's Williams Billy's later films billy bread because nobody knows really Bradley I WanNa go through. I've some symbolist. I'm go from oldest to newest. Not Everything's on here but notable things are on here and there's probably a couple of notable things that aren't on here the notable films Of Billy Bradley Thelma and Louise which we already talked about. Yeah you know. Honk in that. That Gena Davis Great actress and a great archer. Yeah she still do that I think so. I don't know if she yeah I don't think she competes professionally another thing Davis's and old enough to compete professionally in arches. She's tooled yeah. It's it's sad I don't like that it's you know it's it's like it's a bummer. Yo You skip and things Tom Tom what did I skip. He was on two different episodes of growing pains playing two different characters. I mean I don't know I don't know those episodes the characters seen them. Yeah probably you to every episode of growing pains. Probably not in the Lakers. I remember tune into later seasons randomly and being like what this show is like a semi. Unrecognized yeah the six year old is now he's GonNa Mustache. Yeah Yeah what's his name is old Benjamin. He's older Chrissy. They age from a baby into like a singer Over a summer yeah. Mike moved into the Garage with a yet but then he moved out of the garage. I think thank you look. The families torn apart. Leonardo DiCaprio shows up. Yeah just you think. He was on an episode with Brad that'd be she's she's once upon a time in Hollywood. A growing injury union somehow thinly veiled recollection of their top. The growing pains Yes so I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about movies. Like cool world cool world. I feel like that the film the poor man's who framed Roger at the perverts who framed Roger Rabbit that's how I saw it the tell I perceived perceived of it yeah. I've never seen the film but it has an oddly positive legacy now does it. I think I remember about it. is seeing the poster at the mall. The time and Kim basing years cartoon character was named Hollywood. And the tagline was Hollywood. Really would if she could and I didn't know what that meant and even I don't really know something. She would have sex with them but cartoons students can have sex with humans. Maybe now okay so it was a movie where the cool world was like a tune world. Yeah and it was as a hardboiled noir thing right. Every cartoon human movie is a hard boiled new are active storewide. Why did it have to be that way? I don't know but I mean that's cool. World who firm Roger Rabbit Detect Piquiachu. Like all these movies. That's what they are. Cool World I meant to be respond or a play on who framed Roger Rabbit. I don't think so because I think it came out like I. It had to be Nassar. Maybe it was then. Yeah I don't know but hey I'm that they Gabriel Byrne head so he was in an an episode of tales from the Crypt Too scary but I don't remember it then. News in that movie a river runs through it where they were fly fishing. I think that was America's introduction to fly fishing. No of course not everybody in America but the general pop populations people with hats. They knew about. I bet it ahead of time right Jack Lemmon knew about it. You WanNa go fly fishing. That's my judging jank leverage I liked uh this thing about early time Brad Pitt. Early time early time early. Early career. he who is in so many boring movies. Yeah or boring to me as a child like Thelma and Louise seem real boring. Yeah well it's like a lot of talk. A river runs through it. Legends of the fall. Seven years in Tibet. Meet Joe Black. All these movies just seemed so God damned Boring Meteo bike with and boring meet. Joe Black was a good movie. Was it and that was later as ninety eight. Yeah yeah that that was after like seven and twelve monkeys right so that was after like I think guys like me and you were like all right. I think I mean to this guy and then you went at the C.. Meet Joe Black and it was like. Nah He's not being wack zied. You only go to see meet Joe Black so you could see the Phantom Menem. The Phantom Menace missile trailer. Before I forgot about that that that was attached eight-year-old that to pump up the office of Meet Joe Oh black by being like your first look at the news. Yeah exactly and people would go and wash trailer and walk out. Yeah because they didn't want to see the movie to see the trailer show black for some reason and I'm going to look this up but I I'm GonNa take a guess I'm GonNa say that. The movie was two hours and fifty minutes long. I don't know they make movies that long back now every movies that long but that was my two two hours and fifty eight minutes. Wow three hour move as insane in nineteen ninety eight. Yeah then. That's definitely that it had to been the cell to movie theaters like look. We're going to attach the new store. Yeah frailer to it. So you're not going to be able to get as me Screenings in per day. But YOU'RE GONNA fill them up. Yeah they're not going to buy any concessions considering to leave right. Maybe they'll buy some sour patch kids on the way out. That's the craziest thing to me. How movie times have gotten longer because I R I remember when we were younger? Got The shift just turning into. I remember when we were the younger but guess what Fox that that's that's are laid. We're just GONNA have to choose something to go with it. That's what it is too old fucks. Well the The thing was always like how many screenings can they fit. Yes but I guess now but that was back when there weren't as main multiplexes like they started building you're telling me VHS laser discs Of the multiplex that was back when they think screened The press is that our hugs. Thanks or no an elder statesman. She's Christ we're not that old thirty seven. Yeah people people are listening right now going. You think thirty seven's not that old that's true it Ha- hey I'm addressing dressing. You Guy who just guy or Gal that just thought you think thirty seven is an old. It's it's going to be there before you know no it. It goes into a point of an eye jarash it now. Nobody was going to say. Do all the things that you WanNa do like where we you were a relatively small town and the theaters were very old. Like in some cases you know from the pre fifties pre world war or two theaters and they had maybe two or three screens right because I remember when the multiply it was like. Oh this place has like a dozen thousand screens awesome and I think now. That's not going to say what I want to say. Say it just how exciting Tivat which at that wealthy flakes open and walk through it for the first time. Yeah and and just it's like there's a dozen place exerience put cheese. Christ remember the mat-su like a Martin Scorsese like The magic adjective the the cinema. When I was a kid? Yeah we're only a quarter All right true romance never saw me. Neither there. "Lot of people are like good. I like it. It's not good and I didn't like it but I heard it got better in later episodes. That's fine yeah maybe look not not everything has to be good. You can watch bad things all the time and I do Who wants the Internet movie database ads on Amazon? I'd like to address. Address Jeff bezos. He's listening a Baldy or if the Saudi Arabian governments. Listen to this senator. Hey chrome dome. I got a suggestion for you or demand even when you put it in a famous actor's actor's name into the search bar and their and their profile comes up don't show me they're producer credits. I yeah that's Brad Pitt. I looked up In before we were talking about Will Ferrell. Yeah both of them. Like Will Ferrell was an in this movie. What the Hell O producer? Yeah cares and and now a days people know that yes. Some producers are producing literally producing the movie and some producers. It's like now they're just a famous this person and they introduced somebody to somebody else in vouch for them and they get a producer credit. William Bradley Pitt Founded Plan B. And that's like a production company that he actually Runs Jab with Will Ferrell is will Ferrell's producer on succession. Yeah and I don't think he's like in the writer's room now he's a producer right. It's production company. Did it right. But I don't think he's as intimately involved in. It was probably involved in the telling of it but then after that I bet he was like all right out out. Yeah I'll just be cash my check where I'm not a bad thing because it's like you guys know what you're doing you're going to hear from all wheel somebody here needs to stand up for producers reducers while you're slandering them is do nothing. You're just trying to join the producers guild of America. It is by twenty twenty. Go to join a guild of some sort so I can get screeners for next Nikola Nada Guild of some sort a AH entertainment gill yeah an entertainment industry guild Z.. Can't join you'll workers guild. They don't get screeners. Yeah I know again what I what I was saying. Maybe if you'll join allow me to get these screeners the DVD manufacturers of America Guild. Now they don't even do it through DVD's anymore they do do they. They do it through websites and DVD's which is explain this to me while on five years ago who Who I don't think was part of a guild? Maybe they were but they got screeners and and this person would just dump them on a table and be like and this working at a tech company and there were like cave. Anybody wants any of these there here. It's like Oh there's a dozen people here who know how to rip this and upload it get you thrown in jail for this yes anderson. How that shits still leaks all the time? Yeah if I started like if I ever win the lottery Or join a guild that allows me to get Oscar Screeners or award season. Screeners of movies None of my friends would know about. You would tell people if you got a the lottery. Shirk keep that to yourself. Yeah but you would tell people if you've got screeners. Because he would brag about. You'd be like yes no I don't want you being okay. Okay can tell me get a taste on the dark web. You and you're interested in intellectual dark wood for dealer AAC heads the combat got it Egged heads where like I don't know forget it. Tom Do you know what Brad Pitt's first first credited. Appearance was now I don't. He's first grade. It was a film called Hunk of Wpro course it was and we see the titular Hong. He was not what he was. I don't tell me Edward James Olmos or something. Guess what I I said. It was his first credited now he was UNCREDITWORTHY. He was boy at the beach. Oh boy at the beach in a movie called. Honk Yeah and you WanNa know what the plot of hunk was a computer. NERD makes a deal with the devil and gets a new beefcake body. Oh I'd watch that wherever. Yeah Yeah how can we heard of this movie from Nineteen eighty-seven it's who John Alan Nelson was the was this the character of hunk golden hug Golden. That was his name. I guess after the deal at the devillier before must assume that it's right but I could also see if he was a boy named Honk and he wasn't honk. You would be desperate to make a deal to become a Hong. Yes Ed checks out. There's one quote on. IMDB from the moving the character of hunk golden as portrayed by John Alan Nelson been saying I finally meet a beautiful woman and she wants me to bomb Pearl Harbor talk about romantic..

"Tom this week. We're talking about a man movie man. Yeah some magic man magic man. A fan of magic was the other. David Blaine special. Thanks I don't know if he is a fan of magic checking. I Bet Leo introduced to follow. Yeah Leo's a fan of magic him in he and David Blaine go way back. Yeah we're talking about Brad Pitt. This we On the a set of once upon a time in Hollywood. Do you think Leo brought David. Lean towards new friend bread. I think that Leo's Ios L.. Because Leo was in the movie I could see him doing that. I could see Quin Tarantino getting real mad. I don't know I could see Quentin Tarantino David. glade being buds like really the Yin and the Yang. Yeah I mean I could see them being like a chain silent Bob. Yeah Rick Quinn. Does all the talking and David Blaine is. He's just doing his cards and stuff. Yeah pretty cool. I'd watch that show too. Yeah those are two guys Quentin Tarantino in David. Blaine who. I really liked both of them but I find both of them insufferable in many different ways. Oh yeah their work work. Yeah I simultaneously love and hate everything they do. Yeah like yeah well. Hey maybe we could get a double act. Maybe that's what Quentin Tarantino will do in retirement. Maybe just hang around with David. David Blaine you'll see him in the background of when David Blaine is doing this specials for like Morgan Freeman watching them do Lecarr trick and has rifling through his regular collection in the background or something. Yeah how cool actually dated blatant got really really like I feel like now. It'll be like a David Blaine Magic unleashed or whatever they call it new when you call it something even cooler than it'd be like ooh Jared Kushner opinion anyway. Reverend David Blaine Had that special it was like a Hindu it a cartridge to George W Bush but it was like filmed it. Some weird here's the Chinese boardroom. It was filmed in a way that looks like a hidden camera and George W Bush because he got he got my watch he stole stole the former presidents. Watch William Bradley Pitt Tom. He just celebrated a birthday about a month and a week ago. bet about six weeks ago by the time. This airs Do you know what How old this man is? He's fifty six. He is and does that bummed me out a little bit. No because like he's been around for a long he does maybe at first blush. But then when you think about it it's like guys been around since he's been hung since the eighties. You WanNa know what's depressing boyish. Honk in the eighties. He was but he was like a man. It wasn't like oh I want to. You know he's so cute. It was like no. He's like Dang Hung. Yeah I think the main thing about getting older that bums me out is the inevitable death that follows. Yeah I mean maybe I don't know I think about that a lot like how's it going to actually happen right but let's talk about that a few weeks ago. The pat how we both imagine our last words would be no no no no no please. Don't you know you misunderstood. I had this dream a few. I know you don't like hearing about dreams but I am a few months ago where I which driving wait no I was in a car and the driver shy away too fast and drove off off the edge of a cliff and it was the most realistic dream and I was just in the car as it's like flying through there going like oh there's no for half half second being like maybe we'll be no. We're not going to be okay. I'm going to die anyway horrible. That's how I don't WanNa die driving off a cliff. Okay much like Thelma and Louise. That's exactly Starting our friend William Bradley pit barely know the thing about getting old. uh-huh is that When people you remember being young but older than you when you were like a kid are are now turning into like old people. Yeah I remember not that far behind And it's like I remember entertainment tonight in the early in nineteen when Thelma and Louise came out. And he's like young hunk bred pit new on the scene. I remember when I was a young Hunky. Now as an elder statesman elder elder hung sman. Yeah I mean I talked about last week. I I don't think I don't know if I I mentioned this but was last week before going to see the Harry Potter play. Yeah and it really bummed me out because At some point like the Harry Harry and Ron all mention that they're forty years old and I'm like teenage kids and I was like. Oh I guess I could have a teenage kid technically and then and I'm like well not that old Mike for up for my entire life up until a few years ago. Forty was the oldest. You could of until a few years ago you said Yeah like a few years ago forty was impossibly old. It's only now that I'm approaching it. I'm like yeah it's not bad old. You tell yourself a lot and then I also think like. That's not that old. I still feel great. I'm like I don't feel great at all. Feel terrible time Do you really feel terrible time. No not all the time. I felt good recently but I don't bounce back from things nearly as quickly. That's really the big difference. Here's what I think happened to us. We really went to Shit in our twenties but we could. We could handle it right as as we were body of a twenty year. Old Yeah And then the thirty are thirties. Hit The thirties right our thirties and we continued being shitty for longer than was necessary. And and we're just like oh no now we feel shitty. Yeah and it took us a Weil and I think we're both on the upswing here of taking care of ourselves and being adult yeah because I feel better than I did like three years ago. Yeah yeah I would say that it's all I feel like it's only been very recently that I've been able to like correlate things to other things I right when you feel bad about like. What did I eat or do today? That might contribute to this. Yeah or how many times on my God. I'm so freaking freaking tired and not realize you only slip five hours last night. That's probably why you're tired for five hours when you were twenty five. It's like yeah take a heavy sleep night right. It's only slipped five hours and you've put garbage into your body. Of course you're tired anyway. Brad Pitt Brad Pitt. A guy you guys ever felt like garbage. Yeah probably because he was like a real heavy drinker for awhile there. He's you know what I think. Brad Pitt seems sake a real person. Yeah like Tom. Cruise doesn't seem like a real person he does but he's like a terrifying person that you never WanNa meet for real right but then if you did. But I'm saying that but if I ran into Tom Cruise tomorrow I would be back here saying you know. WHO's the nicest man I've ever met Tom? Cruise Bruce and that's what's so scary about him yeah. I'm going to his house this weekend to do some gardening. Oh after you met him this hypothetic- gotTa deliver that. If you looked at me as if though is a true statement and well very good actor much like Brad Pitt. Two things about Brad Pitt Number one he should be my least favorite actor based on what. How handsome is no because his trademark isn't as in scenes he's always eaten while he ta good is always like eaten apple right? Oh Yeah and you have Missa Missa Foamy or whatever phone and he's just like right and it's like God damn it if I'm not like man this this casual man and really speaks to me. I mean you like it when bugs bunny does it. No I hate it. That's the number one reason why I can't say it. Bugs bunny number one reason. There's a lot of reasons. Yeah it's a long list and It's number one is tied man. I hate bugs bunny so much. Yeah he's the best. I know that you know what the thing is. Just tinker right yeah. He's the best until he turns his wit on you and that's the thing Tom you're like. Oh He's great in league geared one of these doesn't realize nobody and I'm like a classic bugs bunny foil. Will he be run in circles. Also Brad Pitt always seems like he's on the verge of getting canceled like at any point. You bring up Brad Pitt. And I'm expecting for everybody in the room to just be like what you like. That piece of Shit. Yeah but no. He's he's more beloved at this moment than an through a minute there because he was having a messy divorce from Angelina Jolie accused him of Having a drinking problem and being out no. She accused him of being physically abusive live. I don't know I don't know I don't follow that stuff. That's that's kind of the way I feel that they were like. Oh how do we feel bad bat. Brad Pitt I haven't really been keeping up. I know he was drunk. And that seem real bad but maybe as pr took care of that. Arthur was a drunk and we love him. That's true Arthur but I've never seen Arthur. Have you know. You're not got a big Dudley Moore head Can I say one thing. Tom And I'M GONNA address. You know what I think. This has been why. He's why people feel better about him because a he kicked drinking but be he he keeps having these These run INS with Jennifer Aniston Chen. And we all know Jennifer Aniston. Ben Jabr Aniston has Jennifer Jennifer. Aniston has been desperate for a husband for the last twenty years. Don't say that that's not true. That's what I read in the newspapers. Stop it that's that's awful. She's not Jennifer Aniston. Why can't you keep a man? Tom Shut up. She's a delight in the morning. Show wasn't as bad as everybody says how much the first two episodes okay. That's I've heard that the like The critics panned handed but that a.

"Immediately start to panic is like this is a stroke and then I start to like I convinced myself itself that some of that. I'm having an episode. I start to get dizzy and stuff and then it'd be like You just lady just lit a candle. Everything's fine everything's snapped back into place and back back to work. Tim Yankee candles Yankee candles. I think it's more upscale than there on the scale than Yankee. Thank you can handle brands. That people will say the name of it I go oh right and just to pretend like I the the the last time Me and you and a bunch of other people like went to a house for a weekend. Just just a hang after chill chill not to kill anybody. Anybody Not to commit a murder. No did an accident happened. Somebody died yeah but that has nothing to do with it. Maybe but if that did happen we'll we'll be taking that to the grave. Thank you right and maybe maybe the person just ran away. And that's why they're missing exactly my favorite things to do when we go upstate or anything. That is Go to Walmart Because there are no walmarts in New York City and I almost bought. What so many candles at Walmart? 'cause they were cheap like use of candles. This is why you shouldn't be allowed in stores or on the Internet because you'll buy things if they're cheap if they're cheap. Yeah I'll think to myself. What if I want this one day? I've been like rest stops with you in. You'll buy insane candies or chips. The Union for ninety nine cents. Yeah me and Netscape. That's better than spending my money on expensive things. Spend it on a lot of small frivolous things weird hoarder house else. I was GONNA say though the reason why I brought this up was I was thinking about So boils down to the reason why. VHS beat LASERDISC was that that vhs in the beginning was just sold on the idea of hey can tape things off TV. Yeah which you couldn't do before then which is hard to even remember that if if you want to watch a show you had one shot at it and you had to be home. I long for those days. I don't know if you did everything on demand stinks well. Having this much stuff is paradox of choice and also it's the same thing with With music I can't get into a Dang album because if by the middle of the second song I'm just like this isn't immediately perfect to me a million other things I can listen to I just want to be forced to be like. Hey It's eight thirty three options. Well so along those lines off Tim. We're not that old. That were we were from like pre cable and early three channels When I was a kid like there are only a few channels? I was allowed to watch. Yeah but back then cable is different too. They they weren't allowed to say Shit and show butts cable was still like pretty safe. Yeah But I was thinking of that to my mom wouldn't let me watch. You can't do that on television on Nickelodeon while that would have turned even more of a monster than you are today. Limited out of it and all those oils coming out of a teenager. Covered slime as well But it got me thinking about recording things and I remembered. Did you ever do this like I would do this pretty regularly. We're like as a teenager. I would record like MTV like liquid television or whatever That showed US never to me. Yeah was never good. But they'd Beavis and butthead sometimes but like I would just record like a night of MTV programming and then like watch that sometimes watch it like front to back. Now Watch one show just I wish. MTV nighttime time programming we're on right now. Well I can make that happen and I'll watch the stats luke this episode of one hundred and twenty minutes for the like millions time that's a that's a streaming service for. Yeah oh I should start streaming those old tapes man if you could get the MTV archives archives and this might only appeal to me and eight other but if I could relive MTV like night Like a night of MTV from Nineteen Ninety S. It's like the old commercials. There's probably a youtube channel out there. Yeah I would I would pay for that answer. I would cancel netflixing. It'd be like okay. I don't have to figure out what what am I gonNA be like. Hey what's on Oh. MTV Cool Nights You know the cranberries video Do you think you'd have to slather yourself in oil to get back in the same mind frame. Yeah do that. I'd order a Pizza a pizza a lot in the nineties pizza live now. You eat pizza more now than you did in the nineties. He's now you have more money and it's easier to order pizza. Guess what my parents were fitting the footing the bill back. Then your parents were if you were watching. MTV At nine o'clock at night you could not be like Ma. I want pizza sometimes. What unlike a Friday night if my parents were going out now it's like twelve years old? Yeah they'd like I had friends over something. They believe twenty bucks for a pizza idea. Remember that now I remember not twelfth. Weren't friends yet. But I remember being at your ass and it's like the mom left me me for pizza. It'd be like yeah. You were kind of a bully back. That is that the only reason you hung out. It's like we'll get pizza. Tim says he needs us a timmy. Any team his parents probably left him a cool twenty for pizza. Let's go eat the pizza. Not The money air. Play.

"Streaming. TV shows through his production shing company. And there's even a report that Reese Witherspoon has asked him to come on her show with Jennifer Aniston the morning show to do cameo but what was Brad saying. The other night of the National Border Review about his life and what he wants to do and where he's at so basically Brad was being honor for once once upon a time in Hollywood at the National Board of Review. which is one of these? Many small award shows that lead up to the Oscars and he took the stage and he said my goals in life now are pretty simple just to be happy. Stay healthy and knock into financial situation where I have to ocean fourteen but Totally bump bump and he also said right that that he Bradley Cooper presented him with the award and he thanked Bradley Cooper for helping him get sober right. He revealed that Bradley Cooper was actually one of the people that helped him get sober and said you know I love this guy and I thank him. Brad's been very open about his struggles with alcohol. He's talked about it and interview magazine scene and he seems like he's doing great. You know just a couple of years ago he was in this divorce battle with Angelina. Jolie there were some pretty really serious allegations against him right that he acted violently on a private jet and that his kids didn't WanNa see him and it seemed like he was in a pretty pretty bad place and there were questions of like with this affect his career. What's he doing? But he seems to like piggybacking off of his role in once upon a time in Hollywood only would he seems to be making a pretty major comeback. Actually in a way that Angelina Jolie hasn't really. Yeah I would say I'm I'm team Brad Team Pitt but I yeah and he's also admitted Recently he was on the Marc Maron podcasts and he was saying thing as when it comes to his personal life that it's a disaster and he said I'm just like trash MAG fodder which I kind of love he is a little bit trash mag thank fodder in the best way. Of course. He wasn't talking about page. Six Bernard magazine. He has been rumored to be dating all these different women and and he made a reference to that at the Golden Globes during his speech that he didn't even bring his mom is his date because anyone that he's standing next to people assume that he's he's romantically involved with so he's denied that he's been involved in them but it seems like now his career is making more headlines than his his personal life. You know this this Brioni ad campaign. It's really good because it's like it's very appropriate for him right because it's basically him like a very nice picture of him in Tuxedo. Lido rate. It's not like an embarrassing thing where he's trying to be younger. Do something with like a brand. That wouldn't make sense for him. He has in this picture. Sort of perfected affected that stare into the distance. That both looks like he's profoundly thinking Abou- all the secrets of the universe and yet super casual about it like he just has got. He's got it. Yeah it's like a supra campaign and then there was also some news that came out today that his production company Plan B has signed a deal l. with Amazon a first look deal with Amazon to develop streaming shows. Brad Pitt's production company is actually like a pretty major Company in Hollywood and they do a lot of movies. Brad Pitt isn't in. There is speculation. Now that maybe because of this Amazon deal it could be one step. Closer to Brad Pitt. Maybe doing a TV show. And I think people are waiting for you know after Reese Witherspoon Jennifer Aniston and Nicole. Kidman you you know waiting for some big male actors to move into a streaming. TV show. I would definitely watch that. I had not realized how big of a production company Plan B was until I go just before this where they've done moonlight eat. Pray love the big short twelve years a slave moneyball also so kick ass movie but yeah I would definitely watch a Brad Pitt. I'm going to have to get Amazon. Oh right right or you have after get Amazon or get someone's parents pathway password. I am really into the Bradshaw NCIS. I'm calling it because in the same same way like when when you go on facebook and you see your former classmates and they look bad like vic- classmate who looks like all jacked up up. It doesn't make me feel better about myself. Makes me feel worse. I like my peers to look really good because then it makes me feel like. Hey maybe I'm still got it and and that's the way I feel about Brad Pitt. Like I was looking at him on the Golden Globes and I was like. How does this guy happened to still have like all this hair? You know what I mean like. He's got he just Brad Pitt's like things going good for Brad Pitt and Brad Pitt looking amazing and doing well. Just make me feel better because it makes me still feel like I'm living and fifteen years ago twenty years ago I I'm into it. I love that you have such a personal take on this. This is very personal. Offer you I'm I'm with it though I am so here for the Pitta Song Just because I think he's done a great job he started out and you know he was the the Hawkeye in Thelma and Louise who shirtless and then he was in that weird animated movie cool cool World I WANNA say oh yeah cool world. Look kind of like Chris Isaac. Yeah Yeah are the cool movie. Where he's a killer with Juliette Lewis but you kind of thought okay? He's hot but he's going to be. He's going to get older and then get Chubby Chubby and won't be like who but I like that. He's done amazing movies he. He's Gotten Stony Oscar nominations. He's actually extremely namely smart and talented. He is an I actually have had an. I had an interaction with Brad Pitt. That was it was very. This sounds very eighth grade. Good Girl of me but not now just fawning over rat bear saying but when he was doing I knew he doesn't WanNa do ocean's fourteen but when he was being ocean's since thirteen night actually met him on the set because some friends of mine wrote the film and I was out in La and they had asked hey. Do you WANNA come by the set to have lunch so I go by this. Set and Warner Brothers had built I think it was like a million dollars to build a casino that the cast could hang out in. Like Clooney and Brad Pitt and Matt Damon etc.. And so I go into the Warner Brothers Lot. And there's like this sort of structure they are that just looks like a metal kind of giant unlike shipping container thing. And you open the door and you go in and it's a full on like one thousand nine hundred fifties rat pack like Vegas this casino with a giant neon sign over the bar that says the oceans club and like waiters in like Tuxedos and you know table table like bank hats in this whole thing and no one else was in there so I sit down with my friends and the waiter comes over. What would you like to order and as like I always? Is there a menu or like what do I do in there like you can order whatever you want and it was just a hang out just for like the stars and like the producers of the film. They did not not filming this thing. It was just their own personal million dollar club. It was it was just a clubhouse for the cast to hang out in when they weren't shooting or like bond or do whatever so exactly so I go and Oh so they ask what I want to order. I ask as they were menu. They're like the waiters. Like you can have whatever you want in these cases though I never asked for like the crazy thing like you know in Hollywood. There's a thing like if you go to a big Hollywood agency and they ask you what you want to drink like like the assistant to say something really complicated so that you have the upper hand so used to say like tab with crushed ice or you know like Do you have a slim fast. You know like like you don't want to order. You wanted to say like water. You know so I didn't do that. Of course I was like I don't know I picked the simplest thing so we're sitting there. Were having this really nice lunch. And you know I'm there and then Brad Pitt comes in just by himself and he comes in and he has this sort of Aura uh about him and he sits down. And then does the coolest move in the world that I would never do either being totally unequal. where he just they're like? Hey Hannah goes. Hey I'm brad like I know you're right you know what I mean like. I don't know the whole shtick works. So anyway we had lunch and it was totally cool but I have to admit I was kind of in awe made an impression. I am so jealous that this happened to you. This is an incredible story and now completely get why. You're yeah while you're like an eighth grade girl about this Brad Pitt. Yeah so you had your own Brad Pitt. I experienced but it was more harrowing mine was like a sort of lovely lovely lunch in yours was like in a simulated apocalypse. It was kind of terrifying. I will say though quickly about the stars that have that thing also in oceans person. I met George Clooney wants and I like prior to that. I don't care. And then he came over and put his army at this. Like Premiere Party for something and I was like. You're you're a god you should run for president. He was amazing. He didn't even say anything. Yeah I think he's just hook. George come this way news like your great. It worked But no I met Brad Pitt very briefly for an interview I mean. I don't even remember what we talked about. But it was at one of these big carpets and it was for World War Z.. In in two thousand thirteen and they did the carpet. They built this giant stage that I believe was in the shape of a Z.. In Times Square so there was nine bazillion. It was like New Year's New Year's Eve but for Brad Pitt this pizzi for words being and I remember thinking like this should be very cool but I also was terrified that there was going to be some sort of terrorist or Looney looney attack. Because you when you're around all those people listen Newark Hobbs Great. But you're like Oh my God that is that.

"And they're Chiron Bama jared so and so so and so and then one just says Brad Pitt and you laugh because they're in full gorilla that's really funny and then at the end of the second to do they're all just sitting around the van and ease like a gorilla suit a bit with the Jackass guys. Who'd how could you be willing to? That's just like what George Clooney did with South Park. Yeah yeah he's the voice. Yeah I love your show. Can I be in your show. And they were like yeah. You can be in our fucking show. Yeah Man Yeah Okay. So seven seven in fight club or two big ones. The oceans movies are big ones. Yes it was a really big one for Emme was twelve monkeys that in a long time that deserves a reward. Totally I for some reason. Oh Yeah I'm like working on a thing that sort of sci-fi Vieille and I was thinking about Brazil and I just yeah I love Terry Gilliam across the board. Same here man. Yeah probably all do a rewatch of those too soon. Oh Oh yeah Brazil. I've seen more recently twelve monkeys. It's been like a decade since I've seen. Oh Man Yeah should watch it. It's I feel like I'm the reverse. I have seen it recently. I think. Oh Oh actually. I know exactly why I was on the road somewhere somewhere where no one else. No one live there like there was. It was weird that there's a club or wherever I was was and so just during the day I was like all right. Well I guess I'll watch. TNT just like on fifteen again. The ultimate hotel like I watched so many I watched seventy percent of so many law and order episodes hotel on tour. I know that's a thing that's like a real. That's something I really love watching specifically law and order order in a hotel room it is hotel TV. Yeah it's for that because I also don't have a TV in my bedroom here which is sort of like a thing. My wife and I made the choice to your good idea but now when I'm on a hotel when I say this is about us like we used to be in our twenties when we would go on vacation we'd have like a hotel room be like. Yes the dog. Fuck we got all this show got towels we got everything. We need each other's brains out thirties like who tv air-conditioning ordering in order. We're going to leave. Close the blinds room service totally really watch law and order all day so yeah watch twelve monkeys on TNT and you know somewhere in the Dakotas or something like that. It's always crazy. I find myself when I'm watching a movie that has like I'll be like watching top gun with commercials and be like I own this on. DVD only probably find it on my phone watching unbroken totally. But instead I'm just going to here like I love it. I love it when they blew bleep out the curse words in a movie. I've seen seven times already. Yeah totally So I've seen twelve monkeys recently and Brad Pitt is like so I mean. He's so good at playing crazy and it's also a specific kind of crazy. It's like a very twitchy person and and I'm like you know I don't have near that bad of mental illness but I have really bad anxiety and like I will like get very fine. Drop getting towards their end in this specifics of how he liked delivers sentences and response to people. I was like God Damn Dude. I'm like yeah. It's a great choice it's research it's thought out. It's obviously yeah totally effort into you. Just really don't expect someone I mean. Maybe it's because I don't know I I'm going to say something that maybe doesn't seem related but it will come back. I feel like not on this aright motherfucker and everything to make perfect sense. We talk forty minutes about drinking in the middle of the Brad Go Gaga. I found myself sort of not understanding the world and pop culture in a way recently. It's it's newer and and not just because I'm older and I'm like out of touch. Because the categories of the world are are the categories that people and things fall into seem muddy in a way that they weren't for me and I realized. I think that one way that people people were who grew up in the nineties were raised is that that era was very much about putting people in categories. Like this is is a punk band. This is a whatever and I do think in my mind. I divided between a leading actor and a character actor and we would talk talk about like Brian. Dennehy as the greatest character actor right right right and so I like unlike this with politics. I'm like you know if You if you are pro choice than you are pro gay marriage and stuff like that all these waters are getting money and I do think. The younger millennial generation in Gen Z.. Way Better about the reality that life is grey areas. Why I think I think the the word that is emblematic of the younger generation than us is something that we never even thought of is the spectrum? Yes and it's whether it's a sexuality spectrum are like this band goes across spectrum their punk but they're also electronics. This person is straight but also yes. This person has is a What's the word? I'm looking for a typical Norway typical. But there's the spectrum it's just just binary yeah yeah and it's not there's just it used to be good and evil everything even movies cinema like art. All was this or this this this and now I think we're learning and it's always. He's been true but now we're able to address more and just be like this really unlock that for me. Yeah yeah totally and for that reason I think like it is confounded. Bounded me a lot in my life and continues to what I what I said at the beginning which is which is that. Brad Pitt is a great character actor like literally even as I'm saying it and I know it. My brain doesn't really process it because it doesn't feel like a thing you can be right right. Can't be Bo Jackson. You can't do both. Yeah right now especially like with a like it used to be TV star or movie star right now. Everyone does whatever now. Like doc doesn't Espresso commercials. I'll tell you what though if I'm such a fan at this point that have if there's a Brad Pitt starring TV show. I'll lose my shit I tame. I just don't know if he would do it. Yes it seems like he's winding down and he's like just doing whatever he wants. That's another thing. Is there an element of it. You think that's like did. His disguise just always have great reps. He had always had great reps or or personally and I believe that he also has great taste. Yeah like due to the amount of you've just knowing the high he has such a high batting average yes with just great making him choosing great projects even the shit that he's in. That isn't great as I burn. Earn after reading. And you're like well. It is a Coen brothers right. How are you going to say note or Mr and Mrs Smith which is like Super Fund? His wife at the time. Yeah it's just like we're GONNA put put a fucking second wing on our house and our kids can be on set with US fucking league twelve weeks. Yeah Yeah right we hang out for four months and we play action stars suited each other. We're GONNA have the most sex ever this year. Yeah exactly yeah totally and yes yeah. So he's like I just recently rewatch inglorious bastards. That's a big one. I remember how good that movie is how much I like. Everyone in it and then and I'm watching it and when when Brad is introducing like right this is the fucking media. This movie Has Disney cartoon in that movie. He somehow how has contorted his face to look like a one thousand nine hundred fifty or I'm sorry. Nineteen forties wartime black and white cartoon person. Yes literally the shape of his Chin and how how we talks out of it is like your Popeye. Bro Nazi he's got sort of like a big extra square jaw. And he's saying Nazis all the time he so fucking cool. Well he's got the worst of all right haircut in that movie and he looks like walking million dollars. I really do wonder it. Is it true. Talent in Hollywood would to pick good projects just as a person who has basically a non acting career like a non-career not to shoot myself. I I like haven't even put much effort in yet. I've had I've been in it a little bit. And so I've like been asked to do a some things and I've read the scripts. Listen done my best. You know. But that's a skill to just think you're like you read a script and think about the director and who wrote it and who else is in it and into a match be able to imagine in. No it's good that's crazy right not possible. I couldn't even like this. I'm at the level where I couldn't imagine passing on something. This is absolute salute garbage. But your boy likes to work totally but I also think nowadays there is you can do share stuff and people get it. Yeah people matters like people get it more. People are just like I'll watch everything that Brad Pitt's in if he makes a shit movie I don't care and it's not going to hold a like back in the day. If someone did a commercial you'd be like what the fuck is right now. It's like Jon. Hamm is doing a home state. You know what I mean like. H And r block like why live fucking don draper. Yeah totally little cameos. I'm always so like all your cool. You're right what are some of those. Oh I'm not remembering rapid. Smaller roles are yeah especially later in his career early on. He's in well Brad Pitt. Even in a movie that I have no like. He's in meet Joe Black movie that I I never thought it's it's worth watching just to see the ending. The ending is one of the most host insane like surprises at nowhere here in alien in Mitchell black. He's the devil. Yeah I think he's like the devil or a ghost or like a reincarnate like and he's there to like take a guy away like bring him. He's like the grim reaper. That's what he is he's okay and he's like all this weird shit about it and doc will spoil the ending for the year like there's this he's like in love with him when he's definitely falls in love with a woman he can't be with her because she di no they like have this moment where they're walking away from each other and they're like decided that they can't be together but they each take turns looking back and and the other person's not looking and it's sort of like that class and then like Brad like looks back across the shoulder. She's not walking. She's continued walk away so he turns back takes. Two steps into the street gets absolutely creamed by two car hit by one going way which launches them to another one across the street and that one hits him back the other direction wild and out of nowhere you don't expect did they have in and it's just a crazy ending movie as soon as we're done here I'm GonNa just play the ending for you on Youtube watching the whole movie just to get to them. I I think the other guy weird well. I'm glad he's okay. I was genuine. He lived uh-huh life. He does all his own stunts. That he's like Jackie Chan. I like about you see the credits. Where bad dive into shopping carts? Whoa he was also the key grip on this weird was Brad Pitt in that movie sleepers sleepers? That was like the kids molested eh abused and then they come back like adults in. I don't remember yeah. I think he's one of the guys in that too. Damn I wish it would have looked. I am right. Yeah Yeah Yeah. It's fun to speculate but I'm sitting here going. I can't believe talking about because I haven't I haven't seen Ad Astra which is his new is new perfect? I'm I'm I'm into it right because Robert Redford. Is Dad in that movie or something. I don't know someone. I Love Sci fi by like weird especially modern Sifi that looks immaculate now. n-i-l-l-a-s movies are perfect. Now Okay Great Yeah Interstellar Fuck in rocked my world and I saw that theater like I was so caught up in it like I was just like Oh my God I called my friend and I was like dude that movie change me. And he's like how and I'm like I actually don't know maybe maybe I am being hyperbolic. I'm with you line and sinker circle absolutely gone Hayes quoting his detective dip character in the Matt. Stop Time and that's that's why they stay the same age. Yeah with some other smother pit. I mean I never saw the Mexican. 'cause I just kind of assumed that it was was Mel Gibson No. That's if it were a Mel Gibson movie I feel like it would be something horrid We do impressions on action. Boys all the time they'll give voicemails you've seizes dude. I know to find out that that dude hates Jews was it wasn't like it didn't i. Yeah well I didn't. I don't need Mel Gibson to be good. It didn't destroy my world right. It's like really bud. The Guy who made the Patriot. Yeah what do you think you are the lethal weapon two. He's the bad guys are like apartheid from South Africa. And he's like fucking racist. He Calls People Hitler. Learn eight off and all the whole movie and watching it now. It's like dude you. You're this comeback. God God what was his movie. There was a movie that was made and designed to bring him back and like sort of a tone and it was about like a.

"That's why hesitates ditz. MIT professor who doubles as a tutor okay but how did he meet her and how did he vet her assumed recommended it like probably someone knows her. It was like you so it's all friends of friends friends yeah. It's not like the athlete method of damning someone who they think would hope so late slash aspiring reality TV star. They both do that but so. There's just like a tier of trust. I levels. Do you think there's an interview process. There's probably like certain dinner party. Invitations abroad pet accepts and I feel like they're. I mean Zach Interject here you might they have actual information common basically but yeah I mean this is. This is not reflected in any reporting. I've done or no in fact but I actually do think you're right. I think the vending is like well. Do you already know David fincher well enough to go to a dinner party that Brad Pitt and that its own kind of vetting which is like David ventured needs to be able to trust people too so if he's made a relationship whatever and that he invites right for instance uh-huh woman toy speculating here then I think in some of some of the vetting has already been accomplished before he even got there and it's not like the security is he's doing a it's just sort of like if you're going to invite if you're fincher and you're going to invite someone to dinner whereas also going to be there. You're you probably already we know like who's on the safest writing and I think a lot of people in his life probably play that role again. I'm just guessing here Sam. I think the world gets small yeah. You have access everything and yet. The world is very small. Also data's euphemism here. I it does not seem to me like Brad. Pitt is looking for a long term relationship at this this brand life. I I can't imagine anything enjoy join more than being like requisition by Brad pet and being over for an evening of art and wine he he probably has the most incredible liquor collection and probably wants to show off new art things that he's purchased and learn about and I'm GonNa be blushing rain. It's great you are you are rushing took where you and then you know you've sexually. Brad Pitt right and then you just have to live the rest of your life do you. Yes I think you ever gone through a Brad Pitt segment on jam session without speculating would be like to have sex with him. I was just asking about his sex life. You know which is different the knee being in the picture. I bet it's robust like I'm sure let's this is talk. That's it's so hard to keep something secret and we don't know anything about it and now he's figured it out. It's that's incredible. It's really I mean privacy C. N. Secrecy is really like the ultimate like privilege at this point that he can keep it. This lockdown is remarkable well. He's got the Masada on his side. Okay I got so Zach is so much. Is there anything that didn't make it in the peace or anything that you observed that you can share since the all the everything thing we just talked about with speculation but anything charming anything any details not particularly away now. I I think that it was it was just sort of cool to see him work. It's interesting when everyone's looking at you all the time. Thank thank even again in in this context where people are probably pretty used to being around celebrities of one kind or another. I noticed that kind of every head from craft services to probably my own with generally looking at him no matter where he wasn't the property and what he was doing and I think that must be very crazy but I also think I've never seen anybody so comfortable with that. Were ususally early. Emmy and it's fine amazing and now's what he is our best celebrity. I thought that was a really good answer but I was actually trying to set you up for the email anecdotes. So can you share that. Oh Yeah so this is about fact I checking so at of course check our stories and with people like prepare you generally the fact checkers go through intermediaries. It's it's not like they. They call not a shelby foote situation you. I don't call directly but in this case even though I think the questions went to somebody that was not brad he answered them personally wow and it was it was not busy. Brad Pet yeah it was it was bruising Kremlin during at one point I had I quoted a line from one spot time in Hollywood just like my favorite line where he and we are. I can't imagine imagine it was hard to pack as no one speaks in that movie watching that fair there watching I think he's like. FBI and he jumps out of a truck like holding a gun and Brad says that smooth leap but I would he actually said as he corrected me in the email he was like actually the line is that was a smooth leaf. You remember the line and then the other thing I really loved about that. Was it said in the story that Brad sort of I I coined Tarantino role was includes bastards and he was like true he's like but I had a small part in his screenplay hero culture romance which was just like a gray the and humble way of relating something that like all know but but just sit like a very very chill very earnest. Ns Way of dealing with the process that I appreciate it and found quite enduring well. I love Brad Pitt more than ever. Thank you so much. Thank you guys. We'll be back next week potentially less giggly. I don't know right. It's a good five. It's a Brad Pitt so we're just GONNA coast on it. I love it thanks so what Hazelnut EMINEM and we'll be back next week yeah..

"That just because he looks that's great everything or is that just sort of like this is how they want to style him. I think he's a little bit of both I mean. I think that yes brad. Pitt looks good in anything anything but I also think that that is like part of the interesting and fun and cool thing about doing that. Styling is figuring out you you know what what pair of what reasonably priced sweater whatever goes with Ray Excellency and and obviously on him at all is scrape truly. I WANNA ask questions about being in a pool house alone with Brad. Pitt like did a security leave for that. Yeah Yeah No. It's just the two of us so how distracting is Brad. Pitt like physically in person I mean to the photo anecdote that I just told I they will say I also do this. Ally around a fair amount of folks who are well known for one thing or another and it is a little bit different with him. I Like I won't why there's a kind of ARA vibe around him. That is pretty singular. You like you start to understand the difference between like Brad Pitt and I'm trying to figure out what like star them going to happen. Salt Lake Mark Ruffalo or something would also be no no shots and Mark Ruffalo flow but like Mark Ruffalo would also be noticed as he walked down the street just so so different being around some like that being around Brad Pitt and you start to realize why you really do only have a handful these really generational stars and those qualities are real that obviously there's some degree of accident and coincidence that makes these these people who they are but some of it is just like you have that that quality or you don't and I think especially with him fifty five and he's he's been windsurf so famous for so long he's like settled into it in a really fascinating way where he's really comfortable and really at ease but the magnetism autism just kind of stays on so when you're in a room with him. It is initially again. I consider myself a professional. I don't really care one way or another but it's a little distracting like at the beginning you know and also someone that age you know. I'm I'm in my thirties so effectively effectively. I've been watching that screen most of my life It's always a low when you talk to folks like that because really wow. I really like to remember you know ninety whatever X. Men Movie. What's your favorite rap hip performance. Oh probably inglorious bastards. It's really good just phenomenal now that all phenomena phenomena Levy yeah I mean I I would actually say once time in Hollywood is like way way up there in part because of the the quality that that we're we're talking about that as into it. There's a actually ringer famous quincy guarantee no Paul Thomas Anderson Writers Guild of America America. This is the inspiration podcast Chris Ryan's character fab. PTA can catch on the big. Yes so the best thing that came out of that was fad. PTA But the second best thing I thought was PTA serve talking about Brad Pitt star quality as he sort of got a little older and had lived a little bit more and how it's how it's changed by the way Quentin Tarantino says the same thing on the podcasts that when you when you look at Brad Pitt through the viewfinder of your camera. It looks like you're already watching the movie so it's not it's not just us but I think once upon a time in Hollywood benefits from that sort of like older warier kind of more lived in Brad Pitt that is like a a phase and I think ad Astra which is Dan coming out shortly. I think it's excellent yeah wow. I really like it cool. It's a if you're interested in Brad Pitt as a celebrity well. No I mean everyone here is interested in Brad Pitt if you're listening to this interesting Brad Pitt but like the idea of fame and is particularly like the last couple of years that he's been through yeah. It's pretty fascinating. There are some scenes where I was watching. It and I was just like I have never seen like this vulnerable side of Brad Pitt before yeah and you really they feel like you're watching something that is from his real life so and it would be irresponsible to over speculate about this but the timing right Astra's. It's the first I move. He does after Angelina stuff. It was shot twenty sixteen right shortly after they broke up or it was leased public. They broke up. I don't know the time and it's a movie it's all about like isolation and loneliness and is it possible to really connect to another person and and and what is it to be vulnerable and and have we chase things outside of ourselves have not so as not to have to confront things that are happening inside ourselves. I mean the themes are very very resonant with stuff that that seems like was happening in his life. Share time sure how exciting I can't wait to see it. I'm just a regular person. I have to wait until September for regular person person. It's been on like the NFL broadcast. He's doing NFL promos. He was like talking talking to an astronaut today in space. Oh my God is it hard to get him to do this stuff or is he just like a professional who gets it like. I have the life that I want because I will sell this movie for. You well. I think that he doesn't do much anymore. He really doesn't act time if you think about the last few years it's it's very few things he's been in like in the last like six years. He's been in Ad Astra once upon time in Hollywood twelve years of slave ritchie's barely early in the netflix movie. I think I tried to watch that and failed allied the infamous. Marion coates right which is the single worst Brad Pitt performance. I've ever seen didn't see but he liked didn't like her. I was also yeah it it was like in the midst of the NGO stuff and he's just very wooden walking through it like he's not really. They're interesting. It's it's sad in retrospect but so I think his solution to not doing too much is just to not he doesn't even attend the austerity much yeah and I think that etched misha with Ad Astra nowadays see the Star but also his Russian company plan B producer just like they did with twelve years a slave and he talked about this in the story if he's producing it and he's the lead actor in a and he's also very close friends with director James Gray. They're very collaborative in terms of working on the description and making the movie come to life I think in that case he's really all in and he will go on Fox. NFL Sunday to go saints if it helps the movie but I think in general he doesn't do that and because he's not willing to do that. He just wanted to move. He's he'll just like I'll sculptor listener frank ocean or whatever bright. Let's talk about some of his quotes and what he does free time but first. Let's talk about Hazelnut. M&M's watching a movie or a TV show is nothing without a bag of your favorite treats and by the way almost so stop popping won't open to eat while doing this podcast but I'm worried that I have a cavity so I decided not to take her to the next level. At the new EMINEM's hazelnut spread chocolate candies. They're delicious just Combo hazelnuts bread and milk chocolate every bite size piece. One of my favorite snacks bought them in the airport on Sunday. They deliver indulgence. That's Bala Tone. Go Hazel Nutty the intrepid the new eminem hazelnut spread chocolate candies today. There's a real dynamite quotes Brad Pitt and here. There's just one. I think there's several big ideas but there was one that I want to ask you guys about. I Kim I'm just here. He noted that he felt his celebrity was getting in the way of him. Living a full life which was then getting the wave and being a good actor and I feel that is in some ways real universal like a lot of people feel. They struggle with work life. Balance Johnson can't like love one if they overload on the other whatever but like is it really necessary for Brad Pitt to have a full life to be a good actor. I mean according to him it. Is You know he I I think they his point was you can be very ambitious and like you said. I think we all relate to this. You can be very ambitious when you're young and chase rolls right in his case and I think his point was. You actually just become a better actor. If you you live and you have more experience to draw on and I think that's true. There's a there's a scene in Ad Astra where he he kinda really loses it. It's a pretty amazing onscreen. Brad Pitt breakdown and I think that that's like very informed by stuff that happened to him and he talks in the piece about how it's not like method acting because he's not walking around in character but when he's like on screen portraying Steffi's generally accessing things that really really happened to him and so I think his point was generally like you got to let some things actually happen to you if you want to portray them authentically on screen and I think he's yeah right. He's always been a good actor but I think my personal feeling is. He's a much better now than he used to be. Yeah absolutely locks in kind of post Ocean's eleven eleven mid-2000s. I just love rusty so much you too. That's my favorite Brad Pitt but I just love him in that role in that and you talked about this the shift that and he talked about got to where he goes from leading man to character and I feel like that's like where it happens yeah exactly and like as a leading man. It's hard to do other things that he does. Well that sort of sly charisma the sense of humor you know the the jokes. Does he have a sense of humor in person. Does that come through yeah yeah yeah he she he's. Ah Very funny he AD- Well there is in the story that was like an amazing moment where he's in his chair and he's leaning back basically fell over the tip tip backwards. He just caught himself and I was like well. Now you see your interview trying to make your subject at ease and like we just switch on a much more comfortable chair and he's like he's like yeah you fall over you know he's like he's like very he's very very charming. I think do you think he's aware of how termi hints. Of course I was GONNA ask. I definitely can never be in a route with him. I think it would melt snow. I know I agree with that. Is it easy to get him to answer questions. Yes I know he's very practiced at this and I think they he has learned how to answer questions in a way that honest and genuine by is not gonNA end up on the front page of newspapers all around the world and that is again. Dan just born of experience. If your breath head you've learned a H- you learn to hear what quote the ends up on the front page of the Po- sounds like and you just learned how to talk around the sentence so there will be moments where I would ask him a question and he'd be like exactly that completely. I think that's exactly right and I. I don't think he was like lying but I think he was like cool. You said that and I will agree with it but you will not get that formulation from me. To what do you do to get around that you know. I I think that a couple of things I think I always kind of look when I interview someone how they're most comfortable talking. It's just like you can kind of tell people respond differently to different kinds of questions and with him. This has always been true. She lakes to live in a slightly abstract realm. You know he's like very intellectually curious. So if you WANNA talk to him about his divorce. I think he's not really GonNa talk to you about that with good reason but if you WanNa talk to him about man have you struggled to connect with people you know and how have you learned learn to be a little bit more open to senior flaws. He'll have that conversation and he'll talk about how men are and he'll talk about. How you have to go through bad things to learn about it and I think it's less of a dodge than it's more like the register that he's comfortable having the conversation and and if you can kind of create that space and I think you said in an interview he's pretty game to talk talk he's just not going to use proper nouns or people's names yes on that note. Who Do you think is the obsessive watches. Could it be John Mayer the the finding is that such a rich guy saying rich guy percents. You could be twenty. Five people like this leads the two who arrived pits France because he mentions Leonardo DiCaprio Christian Bale. Tom Hardy like that's it. I don't think any of the ADS ads right humanly. Oh probably they probably had a good time together on impressed and such for Yeah I think so there's a chemistry in that in that movie be that you can't fake but they they seem to have different modes of life totally and also I would just say that it's not fair not actually accurate but as a result of Brad Pitt stunning performance I just think of Leonard Kaplan has a total loser like I'm just like that guy is just total level below and he just seems so much younger he he lacks the grace and the gravity of Brad Pitt..

Pitt and his six pack and girls don't want to get him see him beaten up who the hell is this movie for which is a pretty funny line but he's perfect in the role of Tyler durden and and really commands the screen. I love the movie seven I thought his performances great again mentor anti him and Morgan Freeman together excellent chemistry because it's a perilous relationship and one that has really put to the test by Kevin Spacey's homicidal killer. I thought it was great particularly that final scene which I guess you could parody now. What's the box the box but I thought the whole movie his acting there's really strong cocky and smart and funny as great as a young detective inglorious bastards another great performance Tarantino together like the exit. I liked the fact his character. It's comedy a little bit of an oddball and moneyball. I will go with which I was not. In for best actor playing Billy beane billy bean's never looked so good and his life as Dallas brain greatness told me billy beane would always go around the Catholics. Tell everybody that's right. Release Shows sabermetrics analytics do within baseball but does so in a very relatable way and pit very charismatic as as general manager whose career flamed out but he's so smart he's able to cut corners and find a way to succeed so my Brad Pitt Mount Rushmore is fight club seven glorious bastards and moneyball shot to true romance honorable mention as great as a stone or by just couldn't quite get in the four Joe. How about you you and then I agree with you on most of them except I have to replace moneyball with a river runs through it. I love that move on your fly. Fishing love my honestly. I do love my I fly fishing. I'M A MINNESOTA boy I grew up fishing and so I got to go with that movie on and he was so young that and just command screen just a future star. Dr all the makings of his so evident in that movie so I would do that. I agree with you on moneyball vote. If any baseball fan in how the analytics of the game I'm changed because of what the Oakland AIDS did is definitely a must watch. I agree with you that it's like. I said I very relatable way of taking Michael Lewis's material Israel and selling it on the big screen even though art how is still angry at the late folksy were Hoffman for his portrayal of him. Even if Libya was a monster jim become that vacuum she had help them the abusive and unfaithful mansion live with but he can't accept that because knowledge that johnny boy was neglectful and destructive heisman father would require Tony to admit that he is too and this aspect to soprano family. History is repeating repeating himself that scene where livy and the flashback asked Tony you know what happened and his dad tells him to lie for him and he does. I mean it's so sad it's okay. The Sun is basically picking the father's other side and the mom at that point okay fine and maybe that soza seeds are being adversaries until years later she tries to kill him for God's Sakes. You've also got another plot here of Christopher for hanging out with recovering addict. TV writer JT Dolan played by Tim Daly and he's a hilarious character. He name drops his shows. He's worked on like Nash Bridges and he says he can't get more than fifteen bucks tries to pawn his emmy to pay Christopher to the pawnshop owner. If you had an Oscar maybe I could give you something Academy Awards but tv what else you got and among jt's patch credits the CBS Italian American family drama that's life which offers a belated opportunity to strike back in the series who's casting cruise to Bryant their characters weren't in the mob and who who starwood onto on record chastising the sopranos for being defamatory and announced that he would never be on it. Chris says what that Fake Guinea Festive Paul Sorvino that was totally unrealistic later on juniors talking about his life because he realizes it's become so sad he goes to funerals just to get out of the house and since my life is only death. I'm living in a grave I B prisoner for what I have general. Somebody please explain this to me next episodes Marco Polo relatively minor episode but you do see Angie bump at Cerro now running pussies all bodyshop Asia preparing bills car after the crash at twenty caused during in camelot and so that storyline shows again how petty Tony is which he's punishing Angie for the fact like that. Her husband was a rat also got Tony B's kids one of them steals a ninety six Olympic pen from ages clauses as I love where he lives and now you see the the difference between Tony B and Tony Soprano and the fact that Tony be missed it on all this great stuff and you could send his resentment even there's a great scene of Carmella laying and married by the way the script is by Michael Imperial Place Christopher. There are Italian all around their closet self loathing. I just never wanted to believe my mother. was one of them really good seeing there. With Carmella the main main purpose of this episode you see Tony and Carmella reconcile a little bit because an up sleeping together in the pool but it is a momentary respite because in the next episode identify defy black males we now focus on Tony what's happening with his crew. Including the fact that you gene leis a savage beating a little polly because he took offense to joke implying he was gay. Hey and then you get one of the more shocking episodes moments rather everyone episode unidentified black males in which you see finn was the boyfriend of Jamie Lynn sigler meadow veto blowing a security guard and the parking lot and now fan realizes how dangerous that even that joke was being about a homosexual visas in grave danger. The secret ever gets out between fans in grape. Dj for even knowing it and veto even confronted a porta-john quipping Phinda Troglio my my arch nemesis and he invites him to a baseball game because he's a Yankees fan in fin is actually a padres fan instead fame fields against go on the Lam him and mental almost break up and then just end the argument he actually proposes to meadows crazies various soprano US move just to fit your way out of this thing later on the resemblance between Carmel and Tony Comes Back Act because criminal discovers that Tony has taken token meetings with top area attorneys so they're conflicted representing Carmelo. It's really dirty way of doing things. As far as the divorce laws is concerned and Tony even celebrates his victory by saying the only reason you have anything is because of my F- and sweat you knew every step of the way exactly how it works later on C. Carmelo's is reaction meadow tells her but Finns proposal and Carmella as the fellas right we've snot with joy but for her daughter getting engaged to a nice guy who couldn't be more unlike. Tony next episode is cold cuts good episode here. Tony B and Tony escort the farm and early on you get Christopher telling stories but how much he used to like hanging out with those guys what they always make fun of him up really ordinance feelings and so here is driving up to the farm feeling pretty good. They're having a good time. Tony B it's called Kabbah Crane Tony B's making jokes but eventually wants soprano shows up they start making it bottom autumn for the fact that he's a recovering alcoholic and at one point told me says if you recover your balls give us a call and later real vulnerable senior at Christopher just going on crying thinking about the sadness in his life. He's also got here as the fellas right one of the greatest pieces of delusional thinking of the whole series Christopher insists after Adrian and tells me a male model Christopher says I'll get back the writing some from a position of great wealth as far as modeling. I probably be a success but wouldn't be around those F. and people later Ron Paulie Tony vicious beating on George. He actually lost sight there in Ralphie hit him with the chain. This permanent hearing loss just a horrible scene there because Tony Tony just so savage even as Melfi says depression is rage turn inward and this episode by the way directed by Mike Figgis who directed leaving Las Vegas. There's something else as well and then you really see just the meanness honestly it's literally the meanness of Tony Soprano at the last scene there he's eating with Janice Bobby and the kids he deliberately brings up genesis genesis strange harpo letting her discomfort bill until he's openly taunting asking. I wonder what's French Canadian for. I grew up without a mother and right there. Jennifer loses loses it and his work done. Tony Flashes smirk terrifyingly similar to the look we saw so often Libya's face when she successfully pushed his buttons and then he strides out there. What a horrible horrible person this guy literally in the previous episode he makes his nephew. Christopher cry again and this time it just makes genus just enraged by bringing up restraints on it's just so mean gene and it just shows the kind of character that Tony Soprano is he walks with the king's plane. I'm not like everybody else was a few episodes here of season five of the Sopranos next we'll talk about through the best episodes of the entire show the season finale all due respect long-term parking which is my favorite episode and also episode eleven which is the test l'amour divisive episodes as well. It's why season five the Sopranos is as good as all right. Thanks again to everybody for listing appreciate thanks to my man Cabal Richards Cabbie.
