"We are wishing you safety and good health. So our debate was there's there's a match Bruin between myself and Kisner here at Pinehurst number two and we're trying to figure out the proper format to make it close without just going strokes which we could end up doing. I'm sure that'd be fine One thing that was thrown out was if I play the red tease which are like fifty two hundred yards. Fifty three hundred yards and kids played the tips. Like seventy six hundred yards I'm a seven handicap right. Now would that be competitiveness and competitive and then another one was if we just played. The tips could us for play scramble. We've got like a seven and eight ten and like twenty or twenty five handicapped. Could we playing the tips with kids? would we win a four-man scrabble? The second one's going to be a much closer option. The first one. It goes back to you don't you? I mean kids is GONNA shoot new higher than seventy four at worst. I am going to shoot higher than sorry fork. Yeah Yeah Yeah that was really nice on the second obsolete like goes back to with all due respect. People don't understand how good the boys are sharp in. I mean I've heard the stories about him. You know the same hobby or whatever but like even if he's using you know he's he's pretty good at golf and that's what it comes down to so unless you think you can at worst break seventy four or five. I think that's not it. I will do a scramble. There's another thing you can do like. I don't know how to do this but maybe do it. Like with shots if you guys both played the same teas t doesn't really matter out there. It's more about like you have to hit the fairway and the second shot right. You know that you can write two or three two or three mine would play. Because he's going to be a plus out worst a plus five plus six. What a seven I would do near plans. Kisner I would do. I would ask him to give you shot a hole on an even fourteen. So that's pretty much. That's what we did at Palmetto. I think it was fourteen. Johnny me five and four but so so. Here's here's singer but holy Shit. I did par like the last four holes after mattress over so I I do. He was having a five iron. He's using a five hundred. There's also maybe mentally like you felt like the way it's also of course in you know is your first time playing with them. And maybe you don't want to admit it but maybe like if Alice was something like it'd be like holy crap that's a BJ's player. So I was like the whole time. I was saying that out loud. Oh my God that's bizzare hitting a golf show. Oh my God. He's got another driver Birdie. The fucking trees trying to figure out you guys figure out the handicap. What you should do to make it fun as like if one of you guys lose a whole in the one of wins hold on the other one you get to like pick a club out of their bag. They can no longer use. That's a fun game. I don't hate that at all. Yeah so like if you went all you came in. You can't use your moneymaker whatever you call it. You can't use the powder or you can't not matter but you know you can't use the driver. Whatever a tough I lose the first of all it takes out about. I mean it's over. He can write some of daily nine things literally make a difference. I'm sorry I was good. At least you're watching. That's huge in. Let's get those numbers up. Maybe that's scramble man that has real potential to be something tight. I'm telling you US or HAG US FOR HACKING. In from seventy six hundred yards we may be able to get to that. Seventy three seventy four score. We may be able to do it. I think you guys should play like sixty eight. He should play it all the way back and also like if you guys do the scramble that leads the most like shit talking and again. What are we all about us now? Numbers Davis Right. I think we could be would be. I think we have to be. If we do a format man scramble from the tips we have to beat them. We have to demoralize. He looks at every PUTT for the book. We get four looks from the best possible spot at four balls that have all day and he do not be such good TV. Viewing you need to do that. Damn I think we gotta we gotta find a way to do that. That'd be also has made it very clear that he's going to be to work is like he was booze and he was in a Hoodie. It wasn't that serious. But then he's told rigs that he's going to go to bed at ten. Pm The night before is going to be all business. He's not going to drink. And that could be a real problem for bringing. Dewey is like easy cart shirts and the whole attack he has to. He has to. If I don't see that NASCAR kids with the fucking billboards all over them that I it's not serious enough. But yeah he does like the money is. We're playing for money for the foundation. You know winner. Get seventy percent of the pool of whatever money. We raised so keys very serious about winning a Lotta. I'll be watching. I'll tune in man. We'll see I don't know I'm all nervous. I'm like I think we gotta do the scramble. We've got to figure out a way to scramble it down here. Us Open Course Hyder stummer to. We're going to have all the boys we're GONNA get someone to impeach her views but if if that happens I'm on there like if there's any way to get like walking scores like look make it superficial four hitting from this as bond him laughing at us like all four of us hitting shots and just dying like you guys suck especially when three of us have already shape on all right. Lurch. Don't fuck it. Three guys are in the water over the condiment in the water. What about US hitting a huge like the fourth guy got three reads? We hit a bomb to like. Save the match. Go fucking beserk will do when Lurch made the or not lurch when you know trait when when when trump made the patent Australia all like a mile away. Best part in four players aspect part of my life best punt in four play. That doesn't get any better watch out again today. I'M GONNA want to imagine. Did that pilots over to a match against kids. We're auto you can't hug each other. I guess we could go next. We're GONNA go nuts and you should. You should wow all right. Well we're going to keep everybody posted. We gotTA figure out a way to do this Suing anything else on your mind. And then you got before we part ways you not much I don't know like what are you. What what you gotTa have like something out there. I don't know when when he coming back to New York when you come into the West Coast. What never never you know. I don't know I look. I'm people keep asking when you leaving what's like I don't. I'm not going to go back to New York City right now because no fits the trump of. That's like the most problematic epicenter place in the middle of a global pandemic and the history of the world. Yup I don't WanNa go out and see my parents right now in case I bring something to them unknowingly. I don't WanNa have to kind of live and navigate that whole world and I've got a great setup at Pinehurst where they have you know nine and a half golf courses and I get to practice fry match against Kisner that I may be partaking with my good friends here so I don't know I don't know what I'm yeah that makes sense. I feel like what the what the deal you kind of got to commit one way or the other like. I don't know if you're going to get it like you're going to get it right like that's not an all the right thing to say but like chewy like like best friends. I like just all to keep each other saying our families are like onboard. That were like listen will be respected respectful and socially distant out like if one of US gets it all getting it and again like that's not the right way to go about it and like I think like within households and stuff. That's not right. There's like a certain element of being tight with family or the people that like. Okay have we all get at? We're confident that we've done the research that everyone should hopefully be okay. Nothing's promise but like right. We're still going to have dinner together like we're not labeling right. We're not like bear hugging and left. And it's like now like you know we'd bring respective booze and get together every now and then outside do ever so outside the nice place to be. It's just a better outside key. We need just need stuffing we need lives. Forwards need what are you? What are you Binge Watch shows? What do you? What do you watch him? So I'm so fired up to watch the episodes of last dance. Like can you talk about that from it? When absolute killer like I mean trend had some laugh out loud funny tweets last night but Michael Jordan telling us that we've never won anything in our lives and we don't know how to compete is one of the funniest things I've ever seen like last night was so so good. I didn't watch it so I was like on. Espn like you can stream the whole thing. And I didn't want to deal with commercials I'm like no. We're you'll watch a right now. You'll see it. It's the one time in all of the episodes where the can't where he looks into the camera and says you don't understand because you've never won anything and he's talking to all of us and then he gets. He starts to get emotional. Said it's some of the best episodes of the entire thing you got to watch it. Actually I'm in the same boat Stewart and I think he's frozen saucers papers but I was beat up last night so I didn't watch it so I'm I'm going to go on Youtube. It's just like you know it's not stuff that you're surpri you go into it being like. I know Michael Jordan. I was little. I was too young to know who really Michael Jordan. His Dad was found dead on the day I was born. I've noticed that that my my date popped up on the screen. I was like Whoa. That's narrow while So like I was super young. Whatever he was in his rain from like ninety from nineteen ninety till ninety eight ninety. Nine whatever was I was three or four years old. Whatever so watching this like you know who Michael Jordan is but like. It's amazing to see how much of a superstar he was at the time. Like you almost think like. Oh maybe just like the allure of the like who he was now like. Oh yeah like. He was the best of all time but like at the time and he couldn't leave his every time you opened up a door. It was like the Beatles were there it was like. I think that was two weeks ago where they where he said. I couldn't walk anywhere. That scene where every single door he opened up there was one hundred thousand people wait now. That's something I've seen before from that angle of like all the cameras. How how do they know where he is at all times number one? I? It's crazy to me. Remember when they did that thing where he's like sitting alone in his hotel room and he's like peaceful times like that's just so wild to even fathom like all you WanNa do like.

"Focus with with with Michael Jordan. Laughing doesn't look great. I remember we live in. We're at Pasta Tempo. And just kind of running back to Frankie was saying like when you find out how good of cattle and how good a golfer your cat is. I forget what it was but it was a part three. And we're like yeah. Go ahead edited shot and the dude just through one to like four feet. And it's like all right. I'm just going to play like shit the rest of the day because you do like your like he's now looking at you like you are completely helpless night. Nothing that I can say is ever going to help you. Because I've watched you play and I know how to do it and I know that you don't under any circumstances know how to do it when you feel like you're the governor or the limit on the team. It sucks like when he's like. Oh No this is the knowledge and I have the skill set as your caddy to do it but like you. The person acting are actually the the limit of like the potential. It always makes me worse owes. Yeah so I don't know if you could get over the fact that it's tiger woods guiding for you rattled. You would be about that. Then I think his knowledge make you a better player. Otherwise he's GonNa make you significantly worse. I've actually been thinking a lot about this. There's been rumblings of a of a Kisner match coming up Potentially here at Pinehurst. And there's a lot of chatter about how are we GONNA do it? What's the format? GotTa be people always say go. You gotTa have like Frankie on the bag and I Thinking would that make better worse if I had frankie as Mike. I'M GONNA come out and say worse. I'm a mental heggie. You guys. Personalities are pretty different and I think as soon as you guys started going at each other's throats fucking older. Yeah over like we'll be super positive for a couple of holes rather great time and then we have one little like not thought. You said like the nine was going to be perfect. You didn't you hit that nine like shit. And then it's we and Frankie strangling each other. Fuck fucking happy Gilmore. And it's Gatti's I can't even even express house over it. It's like you guys. You said you'd be positive for for two holes whatever and then you guys might not speak for the rest of the Eighteenth. Kisner also like it's it's night and day Kisner is just GonNa go out there and you know it doesn't matter what set to him. He's just GonNa be kids like so the fact that we have even the chance of fluctuating moods on our side is not good. Editors soon as kids sees cracks in the foundation of your long. He's GonNa Twist the night and twist Kismet here me be like oh. I think it's a seven iron. He'll big Seven iron and then it's over right there it's over and then I'm like well Frankie Wide Kissers. Just laugh at seven hundred. Then were fucking nightmare man if he does that so another thing that I think is discussed as if like if this match was theoretically happened at Pioneers How would you guys have the match? What what makes it fair I know yardages were discussed as opposed to strokes. Right is that is. Would it be a so look? So there's there's a lot in the works there is very much interested doing pinehurst number two kisner verse myself. He only lives three or four hours. Away you know. He's he doesn't have anywhere to play. Golf. He's trying to finagle ways that we could capture interest rates some money for his foundation. So there's been a lot of talks like you said about pints number two having a match rigs versus kiss. I don't know that the five iron challenges right for that because I don't think that's fair for kids to have the five hundred pilots number two like there's there's probably the worst golf course in the world to do would ask for him So let's throw that out and so then it becomes. What could we do? That would be a legitimately fair competition out we've discussed on this show of playing a US orbit course from half the yardage. Could you like make the cut or could you win the tournament or compete or could you not even break eighty? What would we be able to do? Number two is a US Open course. Pinehurst is very much interested in this match so they could set it up however they wanted they could get this thing pretty close to like USO condition. They don't have. Us Open rough here. They have just Awasthi areas as we all know and spent plenty of time in They speed up for the Greens. A little bit and Bootma spices pretty similar to what it would be like during the US Open so it becomes like what if I played the Red Tease. Which are fifty to fifty three hundred yards? Kisner played the USO petits. Which are like seventy six hundred yards? Would it be what I win? Would I lose would not even be close? I think you have a chance at that that distance now I would to get a scorecard and go through a whole by hope. See if there's any potential dry it like you could get on the green and one. Polls so yeah. I just have a look but I think a distance you have a chance to be competitive now again if you don't hit the ball well you're just going to get kicked doesn't matter doesn't that but I think at that distance you have a chance to win it. Could it could be a competitive match. Yeah he's also you gotta realize like seventy six hundred yards at a US Open. Course he's not gonNA just be guaranteed to shoot like in the sixties like he could easily shoot seventy four seventy five. You could also shoot sixty eight sixty seven easily. So high side is like that mid seventies round right. I think that's your is that obviously. It has an eight or a nine dragon. Getting doesn't matter really distance replant not at all. Well you're screw if I just driving it like one of my poor driving days. It's just over like we haven't even started yet. It's okay yeah I would say you. I'll say I'll sit out. You need a win. Hey we need a win. I think we're all on the same team here now. You Re twelve year old. I don't know if we can. All who shot seventy nine people. I. I don't know about like post interview match where the coach says something like supercup and then the other systems. Just move away from the camera lost. It's all of your old rigs by himself on an island over there but it would great if you've lawsuit twelve year old came back and Vida yes. Thank you through Tuesday story of sports. I think you're dead fifty three hundred yards. Yeah Dude I. Here's you know it's like idea popped in my head. It's not hundred yards shorter per whole yes doesn't hundred divided by eighteen Ashley so elite. Once he gets once he gets into the fairway he so elite. It doesn't matter you'll both be in the fairway at the same point. He'll he'll just be a little bit further than you you're not driving. Greens. No but I'm like okay. But me being like me being seventy yards out versus him being one fifty he still better than pro. I have an idea and now. That's that's an interest quickly. It's just it's extra hundred twenty eight yards per whole hitters plan. That's the difference. That's a significant difference. That's I'm you know if we're still say twenty player in the world if we if we did a scramble we beat the kiss from the ads from the same. Yeah we played the seventy six hundred. I think it'd be so hard for everybody. Lurch not convinced you think the four of us in a four man scramble is ner from six hundred yards. Yeah absolutely enough. What Dude. I don't know man. That's the match rate. They're like that is what makes it fucking From Saints Thought we all were hitting from the same. We would kill him. We would kill him. I don't think so. Yeah there's no way we would like this. How were handicapped event? This is like no but we get we just hit it for. We have to hit one decently down there and then we get four tries to hit on the it's me and Trent hitting two of them and light like like yeah. We all are thirty five yards away on a on a par five right. We had a good drive. We all knocked it up close to the ground like five hundred yard par five and then like I get up there. I blade one over the green. We're done. Trent shanks wanted to the flock and bunker. We're done you. You knock went up to maybe fifteen twenty feet all right. We have a Birdie look fucking kisses already ten thirty. We're not that like were not in the clear right now. I don't know man. It's a long golf course. Trend'S GONNA shoot one hundred fifteen. I'm going to shoot one hundred and three lurches hopefully like an eighty five. I what's going to happen here like you shoot a seventy three. He's fucking Kevin Scramble though. Like how would we make a bogey gotta think if even if we were up near the green into somebody could ship it's ten feet we had four putts okay? So let's say we shoot sixty nine or sixty eight. Kids can't compete with that. No you can rely. I think that I think that match is a toss up though while I think we could easily do so. Let me six hundred yards. Like they're each one of those holes seventy six hundred yards average on average GonNa play four twenty two. We are going to have a tough time hit lottery area.

"You could mix it up at home with Owens mixers thank you for supporting us Owens's phenomenal you're going to love it Okay we've got a couple of things coming up here In the next couple of weeks got the Matthew Wolf Rory Ricky DJ match. We've talked a little bit about that. Mike Tariq owes going to kind of the on that call. Then we've got the tiger. Fill the ship talking. Starting to really pick up they did like the zoot and has been the zoom call. There's been other little leaks of chirping. That's going on Phil leaked this little tidbit of information which we kind of talked about I think. Two months ago and whispers of this thing started of its alternate shot. So Phil said because we don't have caddies because of covert nineteen. Tom Brady and I will talk about each shot. And sort of be each other's caddies which I think will be the coolest part of this match. I think I think so too because as much as I want there to be chirping it always feels a little force even with the The zoom call with all four them wear fills like. Oh look at this picture of you putting the green jacket on me and then tigers like Oh look I'm Chile. I'm GonNa put this green jacket. It's more it feels like a skit that they clearly had planned out. Peyton Chirping. Tom Brady that she was actually pretty good. That's my like so. I'm less interested in the chirping. Although I know that's what people want but I am more interested in them being each other's caddy because that will be super interested. Yeah anytime you get kind of player. caddy Chit Chat Back and forth on the PGA tour. We always say Mike. Him Get in there. Get in there ferte. Just run right down there and hold your mic right in front of those while they talk about the shot you know the moment from between tiger and Stevie Williams in the US Open When they're going back and forth tigers I got. I think the windows too small. Hit the fifty six bounce it in there and then he's like I'm going to just juice a sixty degree and Steve. Is that what you're doing? He's like that's what I'm doing. You're like fuck yet what he's doing all that type of interaction. And now you're going to sort of elevate it because you're going to have both players you're going to have tiger. You know trying to chat with Peyton about like how he thinks he could get the ball into a good place where tiger can do his thing. It hit really good shots. I don't think that like our Peyton and Tom going to be like a tiger. I think here you should. You should really try to leave this one. A little left of the whole. I don't know how that's GonNa work out But they could. It could be like tigers back. You know I've got a squirrel. Eli here I can't really get this on the green on a par five. But would you rather Would you rather be seventy yards out of the wedge or would you rather be agreed side bunker that could be faceted? I think what I'm interested if Tiger Phil like talk down to their partners at all just because if it's a par five and it's kind of goes on where it's like two forty five out like I could get a three. Were there and they're confident players. But like there's obviously a big myths. That happens with that shot too so I'm very interested to see that banter because you're talking about four supremely confident people but like there is a strategic play that probably they should lay up every time because then they'll be able to hit a wedge somewhere very close and take away that that big but then you're telling like a phenomenal world. Class athlete take like his athletic skill. Level and confidence down so I think that dynamic and the banter will be really really interesting to watch and listen to Yeah I think that's tremendous. Who Do you think's GonNa win? Ku's tiger woods any team with tiger woods on wins. Hey Do you think you playing around Tiger Woods? If he's your caddie makes you significantly better player like us or do you think that he makes a difference. I WANNA think he makes a difference for me but like I still like lesson unless he can put his arms where my arms are like. I don't think it's GonNa make much of a difference. He can tell me all day. Yeah headed over their head over there and I. It's just not gonNa make that much. I think caddies make a significant difference for an elite level player. Where you can say hit it one sixty three or you can say hit at one sixty five or hit a fade into the screen or head of drawn to scream because you know the grain and shit like they understand how to compute all that stuff so better caddy is better suited for that level player. But it's Tiger Woods tells me to hit a fade into a one sixty fuck green I looking like. I don't know man. You WanNa give me an autograph or something like we were the this balls going and it's not going to be where you just said it. So let me just smack. Let me try make contact. Has You stand an excellent makes ship my pants so like actually. I think I may play worse. I think I may play word. It's SORTA like how the greatest baseball hundreds of all time. They can never be hitting coaches because they're like just do this and you're like I can't do that. I'm not Barry Bonds like you're telling you to do something that's not within my range of towel. Jeff Bagwell and I. It's a federal crime whenever it even say that Name Jeff. Bagwell has been on record saying. Do not copy my stance. If you're a baseball player. He goes to people's like like like he'll like go to instructional places and say don't hit the ball like me because it's ridiculous to be the spread out and then think to make contact. I got lucky the way I hit the ball. It's everything that I do. From the time I go to make contact is wrong. It's just I became a really good baseball player. The debate isn't like your swing coach during the round. It's like should be your caddy. Would that help you think every caddy at every resort debates and what argue heavily? They save more strokes for the average weekend. Amador hack than they do for the PGA tour pro like Tiger Woods. Going out with a caddy. His scores almost not going to change at all. He knows like his caddy isn't giving him shit information out there that he didn't already know like of his caddy's like hit it fits in the Tigers. Like wow that was a great idea. I didn't know that whereas I think the average emitter the cat. It could like no no. Don't aim right down the middle of the fairway. You'd think that aimed towards the right. Your tendency happens to be. You know you're pulling shots so if you're gonNA hit one riot or on this one instead of going right at the pin trust me chip out to the left part adopt and instead of making an eight. We're GONNA make a six. That's completely fine. And you add that up over eighteen holes. Most cats at resorts would argue. Save more strokes for the average weekend golfer than they do for the elite golfers because league offers could just go out there on autopilot pretty much the same score. No matter what yeah. I agree with that. I think that like the professional caddies is more just talking a professional out of like the bad decision. Like if they get super confident. You're trying to bring them back to like neutral a little bit. I don't even think that's the argument. Though it's more I think tiger would help me and around but if I had to play around with tiger in an alternate shop the mental thought is that I am just letting this guy down just continually leading this guy down and I would play worse as far as I'm concerned lay. You don't want that pressure man. I just know that I'm her a making our score worse continually and I know I can't like I when I find out that my cat is good golfer whenever we play at one of these resorts places. I play thousand times worse. I rather you say you never played the game. You just know the game like like some of the older guys like the older Jamaican Dude satellite. Go out there and you know I've just been here my whole life. I don't I'm not a player like I just watched the game like I feel so much better at that because I know that they can't be judging me every swing. I have like nowhere to go. They know the decisions. That's why the only reason I bring up like tiger wouldn't make me better as like. Yeah like candies in general. Make you better. But the tiger woods like knowing Tiger Woods being the best Golfer full-time does he add that much more value than just like having the common knowledge of where to hit it around. A course that regular caddick give you I is it. Add that much more. I think it actually goes the other way that he is so good that you actually play worse than you would with your your regular like my Guy Logan at Pinehurst. Give Me Logan all day because I know him like the same person. Tiger Woods is a mythical creature being. You can't believe this kid just hit it into the first at Palmetto like let's why are we even walking out here? Yeah it's Wayne Gretzky trying to coach like no no just like do just do this. And then you're gonNA have all this space. That people are like no. I just do that could then. I fucking would do Gretzky. But instead I just can't and now so is this fucking tweet already out about my facial hair because Robbie Fox just texted me and goes bro to. I have to drive to Long Island and sit down to you. Face to face to talk about the absolute monstrosity. That is your facial hair or roll this text of old. You're very well that's out already. I didn't know that it's not that dude. It's not that bad right. Like effect they say is it that bad. I actually don't think it's it's better like my expectation was so low not when it comes to.

It was a nightmare and everyone you send people screaming into their houses and burden up their doors but like when you just try to do the mustache. It actually looks like a legitimate mustache. Look Good Jack Sparrow. Look at Chris. Kreider you do Kreider crosby a little bit but even Yatzik. Yeah were you listen? It's it's like right. Here's a little weak but like it's coming it's like you can see that there's a mustache which is all week. It's not strong anywhere like now. It's no it isn't strong. Anywhere is audit was going to look given the evidence from like eighteen months from right here you could. You could just tell I I can I can like I just have a moustache like a week ago or two weeks ago. You like. What is like a week mustache? But like it's something right. It sounds better. It's it's like you said about my shave head. It's better but it's still not a legitimate. Look call that like a real look. It looks ridiculous but it's better not to not use. It looks like humans. You're going no beard and shaped head. You're going to get arrested. A beard voldemort. Kinda you gotTa keep dark and if you're GONNA go ball up from that. Who was getting a little ridiculous? It's like when it starts curl over your lips and stuff you know. The beer is that I grew out this mustache with perfect. Time to get this trucker hat from pinehurst because this things like a school nineteen seventies logo. I got this dirty stash on top Looking a little mud up there. I'm ready to rock man. Look like voldemort. What's this a little bit bro? Man was this fucking screen. Shots that e bug just sent us. That's not great. Feeling my mustache now. Looking as good there What was I going to say? Oh the so. We released the T- Teaser pioneers and it's just the most dramatic tingling in the groin. Type thing I mean with the bowl and passionately being like can you feel it? It's like everything about that. Fucking trailer makes me want to just dive headfirst into the screen. Yeah are are even text. Group is getting a little sexual last night. We were kind of drop it like. Ooh that made me tingle. That made me feel certain way. So I'm sure people jacked up after seeing the teaser Pinehurst number eight. I think it's cool because a lot of people don't know about pilots summer. Eight might have like poked around and seen a lot about pinehurst number two. You might have done the same thing about number four. We've talked about number four and this show a lot so you might know. Cradle number four number. Two number eight is kind of its out air. It feels like you're not at Pinehurst. Feels like you're at You could be anywhere you could be in like Florida or Michigan. I even forgot because we went out there this weekend. I played it for the first time since we were there. November and outside Holy Shit. I forgot about this golf course about the back by when you go around those wastelands It's just really really cool. It's very different than sort of some of the other things you see partners yet. It's part of Pinehurst and there's a history behind it passionately. Talks about that so Pinar summer eight tonight. Tuesday night people should be excited. Travel show you go to a four play golf on youtube or you go to the website. We're going to have a whole thirty six thirty seven minutes long and Terry. I'm excited. I mean as a viewer. Who's knows pretty much as much as the listeners do. I can't wait like I know a little bit more But I can't wait to watch. I'm so exciting. It's going can anybody because you guys have put in a lot of blood tears along with all you guys but I'm super excited for a large. It's incredibly informative. This one I feel like we're like like tobacco road was as well but tobacco road is such a more like you didn't know that that golf course ever existed. I feel like you know that Pinehurst exists. If you're golf fan but like rigs was saying punish rates that one that like we need to spend a little more time showing you the nooks and crannies of it because it doesn't have the history that like finance number two does and it doesn't get as much Spanish number four so this one has more of like we're GonNa take you from td green and show you a golf course for the first time that like when you come to pioneers in you book Your Body Strip. This should be one a year the the courses that you play because we want to show you every little nook and cranny of it we can get around like going to the historic st staff right. He can talk about fucking Payne Stewart and like all Donald. Ross she like no one knows a punishable ages right like I played to win four and I'm excited to see more of the other thing. I'm super excited to see you. Listen to is just let passionately talk. Just let let that all looked at Man Singh out of his mouth with how he talks about like the history his love for Pinehurst and everything like yeah I mean. I just can't wait to hear him talk about all of this and I don't know who I know e- Bug at it and I know that Jake film that. Whoever didn't like put any coloring on my body is like insane right like. I watched the first version of of this with my girlfriend. We were like just sitting there trying to take down notes of what we wanted to change. Or whatever and I we both couldn't get past how white I was in. This video turned on by dead dead people but to the point. Where like I legitimately couldn't watch video anymore like I. It was it's grotesque cow wyde-am a white t shirt in this video a white collar. I'm whiter than the shirt. No I like you would think that it would be better to wear white shirt because any sort of complexion looks darker than the white shirt but in fact is darker on my shirt than it is on my arm. I noticed that in the Promo big time when it pans to you like Whoa is like they hit with a fucking colorization at all. Like no no no hue saturation on that bitch. Give me anything. You can't go on the saturation bar. Just give me a little red. Nothing not even a little pink. Just keeping it real frankie just to. There's something wrong. This is so that there's something wrong with the camera. Aris to Whiten on camera. It's a whitening camera based. Yeah you guys should have checked my fucking pulse at the big thing is a. You're wearing a white t shirt. It was very sunny outside. And you know when you're filming golf you kind of have to manage. The exposure decently. Were trying to get off course. We're not trying to show off your holiday when you guys watch me all the listeners. You are going to be stunned at how wide I am. It's it's loud donning. No no no no. It is all donning. They know I'm white. This is stunning. I haven't looked at me right now. I have some readiness to my face. I'm head in this video. Is your mic. Give off. One of those red lights like mine. Does that what that is? Yeah you look like you actually got like healthy complexion going on right now. You're not that you do you do you toy without lighting. Is that what you did in there? into darkness hat. I like you're hat is so sweet. It's so sweet. Looks Good Okay? "The concept of the whole grains complex is not just about the greatest the complex and what Ross was able to do because of the sandy soil the sandals North Carolina. He's got these undulations there that you just can't replicate if you're in a sore clay based soil environment up in the northeast is it won't drain so it's about putting options you said you missed the green the first green on. Pinehurst number two. And now you have four choices to make in at least and it's embiid pull the sixty. You can hit a hybrid. You can everybody tells you you. Should PUTT in. But you don't have the the pace down. And so you're going. Why would I put a never got Hamas GonNa hit that better than mine and that just happens time after time after time after only you don't realize you know the the fourteenth hole this downhill beautiful? Tee Shot Europe to miss that Grain Long. And in the drop off that you have behind that green but part of the time. I can't so it's just the the the Greens are majestic in a different location. Every day brings in a different challenge. But I remember talking to Gil Hanse about the Greens on number two and he in the end even though some of them have these amazing runoffs. There's a portion of every grain on pyre summer to act grade. So you're you're whether you're walking up the front and you're on fourteen for instance. You just walked right there. The green starts right as you're walking. You don't walk up any Hilbert. Reflect in the back of of the first screen is at grade and so I guess things being great make it. Feel MORE NATURAL. You can have all these weird contours deep deep crevices But uh part of the green is a great so doesn't feel artificial so it is just it like I said it's an examination is a master's thesis in in Green Confidence in its NBA maddening. Because off the tee it's very fair Donald Ross said it was the fairest test of golf he had ever built because the I don't know how you do it rakes but the way I get in the shower after my round of golf into revisit it Michael cavs fairway and then I was up next to the green with the double. How did that turn into a double any? That also is that it's it tends to be the the numbers begin to add up around the Greens. They do you you just but that's fair. You feel like there was nothing artificial about it. There was nothing unfair. There was nothing. Tricked up you just didn't execute the shot at. How could I have better right? Yeah you do think that all time and you know that you could have you know and and don't do the the biggest thing that I've noticed about number two is that you're never comfortable until you've watched your ball. I'm talking about your approach or your second chat. You never comfortable until you've watched your ball for about six or seven seconds and it has a. Yeah I would say that and that to me is a player so in Raleigh okay. There's a back ripe in the middle of green. It looks like it's in the middle of a green. I think it's in the middle of the rain. It's still in the middle of grain. Okay it's been sixers seven seconds. I think it stay because there's many times where you can hit one in you know in your heart of hearts you might bitch. You might complain. You might say look. Hats can't believe that robot but you know the second you hit it. You're like Little lab does that get hold up. Is that going to hold up? The dollar is like now that it will migrate. That will model up. And you know what you're supposed to get it not it. It's IT'S A. It's a championship tasks. The cat is call it the You've got G. I. R. FOR GREEN IN REGULATION OURS IS G Vr. You visited the grain regulation but it didn't stand a so. There's there's countless tales of throwing your back in the bag in in starting to grab the putter out of the and then you look up in his worst of all what would happen and yet you can't you can't relax and you write for the most part You know that you didn't hit the perfect shot and there's a maybe maybe occasionally you hit a great shot and you just didn't land it. That's the other thing that the cat is. We'll tell you on the Greens on Pinehurst number. Two you shoot for the center and you put to the corners so you just want to land doesn't matter it would be. I think it'd be a great experiment. I've never done it but I would just like to pull the flag out of every green on pilots number two and do not even know yet As the skit a shot late Monday. But if all you're doing is trying to hit the middle of the green and then put to the corners and not let your your mind play games with you to try to feather one into the back hoe location or it doesn't matter just hit the center. GimMe the yard is to the middle. I'm GonNa hit that shot. Hopefully and then I'll how much lower people's scores but yeah it's incredible that about So lastly I wanNA talk about. We did the fundraiser. The Relief Fund for the employee's. Pinehurst like everyone else is deeply affected by that. Covert nineteen situation. I believe you guys around fifteen hundred employees typically. Now you're down two hundred two hundred employees. That's hundreds if not a thousand. Employees plus have been affected in a very negative way by the whole thing. You and some of the staff came up with the idea of auctioning off very cool items to raise money and try to obviously help financially as best you can all these employees. Anyone who's been partners. Anyone knows as as cool as you come for the golf. You come for the DEUCE and and the chatter in the cradle. But you you stay and you feel at home because of the people here like that is what Pinehurst is about. What the villages about the employees at the Carolina Hotel who welcome you everywhere and that's really what it's about and those are the people that are most deeply affected talk about relief fund and and the idea and kind of how wild it was much that took off in this kind of captured by everyone awful. Yeah thank you for for bringing that up. It's a while we're having so much fun here. Talking about the amazing pineridge experience. It's not the same right now and it's it's kind of a heart breaking time to be here because it's the middle of the spring season this is typically when we're at full capacity. The hotels are full. The golf courses are full. People are having a blast. We're talking about who won the master's and people were getting out of their their their their winter season and getting into their spring season. So this time in this is is in. We'RE NOT. We're not at full staff right now. So yeah we. We typically have about fifteen hundred employees. Were two hundred right now And as I mentioned I've been here for twenty four years and I know so many people by name and no by family and when we had to put people on temporary layoff it was just very personal and and we know them and we wanna find ways to help them through this and and so we we dishonor on kind of a whim on a Friday. We put up some. We decided to auction off to T- Times on Pine Ridge number two For the following day. Yeah so you had to submit your bids by four. Pm. We quickly had like fifteen hundred dollars. The two different people bid to have these tee-times wait a minute we got. We've got an opportunity here to to create a cause and into that. That little experiment of selling to tee times under PINEHURST number two inspired us to think of what are the amazing golf experiences that you can have a pint or or the the the door to cottage Were Donald Ross lived? Could we auction off an event or a force them to stay? Donald Ross's home. Could we incorporate the pines brewery could you collaborate with our brewer to create your own beard and and Naoto matere? Yeah Eric Mitchell is fantastic We were blessed to have a gal hints who agreed to play Pinehurst number four with a foursome and play the cradle without for satellite. Oh my gosh. And Bill core is GONNA Walk Pinehurst number two with a foursome of people. Explain the design brilliance of Donald. Ross is GonNa go through Winter seventy degrees and so we just can't count. We were able to rattle off experience after experience after experience to to have the pinecone or beverage cart on on the cradle. Come to your event and happy hour To rent out the cradle for half a day in play backwards Do whatever you want to go. So we're just an embarrassment of riches if you will and so we put we cobbled together. All of these unique experiences and and put them up on an auction site And you agreed to help us. Do a interim live auction which was really fun. You put in a two in the BARSTOOL. Classic an opportunity played versus you. Manno Manno On course number four on camera on camera by the I mean. I don't think they realized that. By the time. This thing rolls around Blade Patterson the four forty times. Yeah I am not a fight. But that's fine and shall we at the end of it all based on the generosity of Pines fans just a golf community. We raised over two hundred ninety thousand dollars. Almost three hundred thousand dollars was raised. And what we're what we're planning to do is we're going to extend the healthcare coverage for all of our employees through the end of May We had previously announced. We're going to go through April now. We're going to go all the way through. May because of the success of this auction We're giving out weekly care packages. It's it's it's an amazing scene. This your employees pull in to the back of the Carolina Hotel..

"Here is the President of Pinehurst Mr Tom Daschle. We're here the door cottage we're joined by My very good friend Mr Tom President of hires. My first question is very simple house. Somebody just become the president viner's house at Hosanna thing. It's it really is special to say it. You know it. It's a dream job for sure is weird. I've been here for twenty my twenty four th year in. Pinar so doesn't necessarily feel weird because I've just been here for so long I always thought that being like the the head of marketing for Pinar Suits Kinda my dream job and I remember Talking to the president time says you need to set your science higher. Powell was kind of his thing that that you know when I I had a real job I was a CPA way back. When did that for three years I came to Pinehurst is a guest with my brother in nineteen eighty seven. It was a my my first time. High School graduation gift for my parents to to me and my brother take somewhere in my brother chose pilots had never heard of it and And so we came in nineteen eighty seven back then. Jackets were required in the Carolina. Dining room. We're we're checking in at the front desk and they say you know. Of course. Gentlemen jackets roared and the diner. We're like Oh yeah sure. And then we turn the corner to the elevator. Like what do we do not we? We didn't have jackets so we we. Luckily they had them in the in the bathroom and they just had like a coke closet and so so back then in nineteen eighty seven. I came for the first time I can fell in love with this place and we took a roll of film on every course that we played which was only twenty four shots or wherever enroll Baghdad back then in so I it planted the seed. The Pines was something really really special to me And I I went to business school at Duke up the road. I get to know the men's golf coach at Duke. He put in a call and got me an interview with pints in ninety six. And so I I came here in Nineteen Ninety six. I was started working on the nineteen ninety nine. Us Open three years out. And I thought that was the first project that was like we got here up for the meeting. I know the pine which was the first time in a long time. The only it was the first. Us Open at Pinehurst in. And so I thought I was GONNA after the ninety nine open. I'd go find something else to do. But but after you've been here for a while as you know now This place gets under your skin and it's a great place to live while it may be a little bit isolated and remote. There's people who come through Pinar so really if you if you stayed in binders for three years. The world of golf comes through pioneers in that time so while while you are a little bit isolated from from thanks which is which isn't a bad thing The world revolves through pioneers once every couple years. So so how does one become president? Piracy I think one of my biggest strengths is just my passion for this place and and I want you to love it as much as I do and how. I'll spend all day all night all week Try and help you connect with minors in whatever way you can connect with it whether whether it's the cradle in in the vibe that's going on at the cradle or if it's the tranquility of number eight or if you think that it's really needed Annie. Oakley was the pro with the gun club. Here there's something here for everybody and I'm GonNa take as much time as it is. It takes to help you. Connect with whatever part of Pinehurst makes you tick So it it. It's it's been a great journey And I I like to think that we're can still just getting started. There's so much potential. So look there's a lot you just mentioned a lot of things. You brushed are a lot of things that like. I'm Giddy to get into you and I have discussed a town like off the record. You're mentioning number eight hundred courses the cradle the creations all kinds of things that go into that We talked about the ninety nine. Us Open. Let's start with with that. Right by Payne Stewart the US Open. It had been talked about earlier. Was What the thirties that the PGA championship was. Here was fifty one fifty two that the Ryder Cup was here. So outside of that it had been a long time since a`major championship. Something of that nature had had come to. Pinehurst nineteen ninety nine the US Open for the first time comes to Pinehurst year. Now I mean you started like we talked about. He started low on the Totem Pole. Now you're about as high as you can be looking back and understand everything that you know like how important is something like A. Us Open coming. Pieters what does that do for place? I think it's incredibly important in the in the nineteen ninety nine. Us Open. I can remember talking about at the time the the only other time. Us Open has been held in the southeast was like nineteen seventy six at the Atlanta Athletic Club. I think Jerry pate one that that's crazy and it's the only time and and I think it was in Texas at some point but astronomically. Yo and the dates just were such that. The grasses were not able to perform at the level that the US J. needed them to for for for major championship and so people are always amazed that the US Open had not been held at a place like pioneers. But I think a lot of the. The rationale supervising right like is normal as a fan. I'd get seems so obvious. What do you mean has been on them? But but it it hadn't so that was a big coming out for the nineteen ninety nine. Us Open was was an introduction of Pinehurst to the golf world. It had been a long long time. There was some some. Pga Tour events in the in the seventies and eighties. The World Golf Hall of fame. Classic was torched championship. Was there As elite upper scientist ninety-one ninety-two tour championships. Craig Stadler and police Asian or one of those And I think that was beginning to put. Pinehurst back on on the map but I. I really do think it should them? We had the ninety four senior open. Simon Hobday one at But denied on your show of I think of like no-fence Cepeda doors fire to think of a regular to are being United such a now. It's it's it's it's not a legitimate is a crown major championship. Venue that everyone. It feels like should ascend to writes it it. It is one of those plenty. I think you could ask Sir Nick but I think for for do we.

"One of our tweets bom jake shallow to Jake Spit on Frago. J. J. notoriously an awful tweeter has gotten very good lately. Yeah Uganda when you got. I mean you've been on fire and I will say so. Jake made a very conscious effort a few weeks ago. He said you know. I really want to ramp up the foreplay presence especially on twitter during golf tournaments. I think we need to kind of like I'm GonNa live tweeting to give it a shot and the first couple of days. You were terrible it but I said I thought you know this is this is fine. This is how you gotta get into tweeting up a storm which is great. And I was like getting. He'll get the hang of it. He'll I'm sure he'll iron. Some things is out. He'll learn about the game and whatnot. More like an kind of what plays in live tweeting. Golvin this that in the last week or so jake spin on fire and it really early culminated with him. Getting quote tweet from Tom. Brady that that tweet from Tom Brady has over two hundred thousand lights. It's it's great because not only like getting quota right. Tom Brady is good regardless. Like you're just like holy shit that someone who's very topical and it's going to get a lot of eyeballs on it but Tom Tom. Brady's tweet was a plus chirping peyton manning classic robbery right. It's like a works on every single level and that's how you get to over two hundred thousand legs on a tweet. That's from our foreplay twitter account. It's just beautiful so Tom Brady Jake. Four tweeted out. Brady would have sunk this and brady quotes. Oh sweet rates. Not True. Payton is the better golfer right now. He's had much more practice. These past few years a direct shot at peyton manning. That just came out out of the clouds. I just didn't see that common. It went nuts. Like I said it's got it's got over. Two hundred thousand likes so big. Shout out to Jake and the foreplay account getting that going. That was amazing. That was that was so surprising. When we talked about this on radio A little bit right after it happened. Do you guys think Tom Brady runs on twitter account. Yes yeah Okay I don't think exclusively but I think he writes a lot of his own stuff I think he he would have to say this. That's where we kind of boil down to where he probably doesn't run it like eighty percent percent of the time but if he like he chime in every once in a while and especially if tweet coming from his twitter account that's GonNa Chirp Peyton manning he at least has to okay. Yeah he has to approve that even even if he's not typing out you know not true. Payton has a better golf game now. Someone's gotta be like. Is it okay to tweet this. And he's gotta be like okay because that's going to start a media fucking fire. Here's here's what I would say. Though is there is forever. We all thought like when Tom Brady jumped on instagram people like. There's no way Tom Brady's actually because he was commenting on stuff. He commented on Barstools. Aw Sports Post about eating ass and like with like a thumbs up like I don't know if that's him or not but it could be but then we file he's deeming Dave true and it's like so he's clearly got a pretty active presence on his social. That you're right has obviously gonNA prove you can't have some social media intern that you're paying ripping shots peyton manning out of nowhere sure But Yeah I think he's on. They're pretty good amount I think he's on their more than most people think he's on there. I think that's probably right in regardless that we came from Tom Brady whether it was him or not. We get the we get a bump from it so Schambori I was incredible the. At and T.. Pebble Beach pro-am was of course this past week always cool tournament. They play Monterey Peninsula that place by glass they play Pebble Beach so getting to see that the views never never never gets old. You get a lot of celebrities out there. We were kind of talking about the the coverage a little bit and we were sitting at the bar at Pinehurst watching. And it's you would like to see more of like just the round of a lot out of the celebrities. Like even with Larry Cheryl who won a lot of people calling the sandbags online at his lowest handicaps. been like a five or six but he plays like nine and a tournament or they going after Larry I. It's one of the great guys in Sports. I forget what's your connection. I don't know that he's one of the nicest guys in sports. I've heard hit. It's not like I've heard that many times to that. He's just one of the nicest guys I'm Su- hook shot. You do to see if you if you ask anybody about Larry for sure. That'd be like nicest guy ever like like standup guy. Does a lot of charity work. I can't believe that people are trying to go off for sure. There must be some mysterious connection to Cedar rapids here. That I didn't know about. I guess he did catch Kurt Warner for a few years. Kurt Warner was when he was on the cardinals and the upper a pretty a pretty good duo but I just. I'm just stunned. Because Larry Fitzgerald is one of the nicest guys. It's true from the benefit of the doubt. It was was down at five. He's up at a nine plays about golf can be consistent. Knows he's one now twice the. At Beach pro-am the amador part of that tournament. So people are getting a little bit of a hard time but we were saying about the coverage is like I would like to see like a lot of his round in a lot of the average amateurs rounds. I don't think they do a good job. Alba explaining the program and showing it to the like the view. I totally agree that it'd be nice to see their swings. It'd be nice to see a lot of different guys hit the ball around the course Because again you get to see the average guy go and play this and we never even show him. It's a one off. There's no context and it's also past tense. Usually it's never in the moment home at that. You see them hit the ball. Yeah it's just there's no context around it. I WanNa know if Larry his partners doesn't stroke here because he's obviously the pro and he's got He made bogey logie. So who fits. has this long sixty foot lag. Puppet he's got to keep them in the lead like I would like to see how an amateur handles that on there and you just don't you see it a little bit but you don't see much of it. I'd like to kind of get that. It's very much like look fitzgerald to Larry Fitzgerald is here and then they move onto the next thing and that's pretty much it. Yeah and it's not like they're like they're they're so compelling and showing showing all the other Gulf that they can't fit it they do so much bullshit all done to like us having to watch Clinton's whatever your stare out onto the fucking Martin love. It might be my favorite part of the whole broadcasting. It is great. I've convinced myself that Clint Eastwood sits in that same spot all year and they just build the set around every single year they build it around and they throw Mike on and and he's like all right. I guess I'll follow. That was a very good. We also believe it because I just always out there. Clint Eastwood didn't know that they were sitting to his right until Jim Nance dance through it and was like what do you think Clinton tapped him on the and then he looked over and it was like. Oh it's been a year already. Got Her back. Somebody tweeted me and I actually have started to believe this. That they think Clinton Clinton now wise to what we say about him and like what the Internet says about him. That's why he was sort of looking off. And if you watch the video he is looking off and then nance slaps him on the leg and he was. It's like a little grin to the camera. So Clint Eastwood he might still be like sentient enough to be like. I'm GonNa mess with these guys a bit of a showman. Sure yeah he he would. I know how to get it going for the people. It's just. It's so uncomfortable every year but they just keep Willingham. Enroll him out there for us to see it's incredible. It's incredible stuff to watch Phil Mickelson. I Know Frankie touched upon it before. He had to go do what he's probably. What a half forty five minutes into his drive right now but Before he had to leave. Because he's such for more on but Phil Nicholson which Solo third-place finish. She had a seventy four in the final round. Of course it's very difficult. Incredibly windy fills not known as the most accurate player in the world he still was producing ROIC getting up and down from all over the place which was cool to watch thought. Maybe he's GonNa find a way to stay in this golf tournament finds a magic on the back nine and and beat this guy he could not however having said that Phil Mickelson now has I think in Saudi Arabia. That he finished third tied for third is well somewhere or so somewhere around there. So he's now got a back to back very good finishes after missing a couple of cuts to begin the year having zero top ten's since he wanted the public beach last year. I think that was the stretch that went on and And now he's got a couple. I think it was a third so a couple of very high finishes this tournament. You know he's at pebble is in the final group he He and they were kind of two man duel for pretty much. The last two rounds round and a half of the tournament until shot himself out a little bit Sunday but Phil also had a very. He just got played afterwards and kind of had a nice little phil ask. We're going through the whole thing and all that but we did talk about it with Brandel Chamblee about L. Phil will fill ever be back. Bill will win again per animal was on the side that a win again. Frankie was on the side that he'll win again. Trindad a you're not. I feel far less confident in throwing endured on Phil Mickelson a few weeks ago. I was very confident. It was one thing that I took a hard line on. I was like he's Never GonNa win again. He's going to be fifty in June. It's just it's it has to end for everyone at at some point. Feels like it's coming there fulfill it no longer feels that way but I'm gonNA still be confident in saying he's Never GonNa win again. EAPPEN TRY IT. I'm like you know what I'm with it okay. I said that when we're talking brandon feels good. Yeah so it's good to have you on my side. The problem. What a bad side that is to be? You think he's GonNa win. Yes okay I mean if you make every video make bunker shots look like they're five foot putts as we can. It would have been. He wouldn't have been as close. Could say that about his whole career. You're saying if the filmmakers and didn't have a phenomenal short game he wouldn't like one could also say he should be taking advantage of these high finishes and those that's where he's GonNa get his wins. He's he's just sort of wasting the opportunities at this point. I disagree golf's not about getting really hot and getting lucky sometimes about consistency over time I think Phil Mickelson's now approving that he's Co finding a little bit more consistency in his game he's hitting Bob Sitting at further than he was of course last year..

I got picked up in the next fifteen minutes. You can't do the Gulf podcast. All right man. I call my girlfriend and I started laughing and and she's like. Don't you wish that you weren't this dumb sometimes. Well we were saying originally unless you wish you much easier life would be if you thought it through the whole talking through your pockets and the worst part chaotic moment breath. What do I need given don? We're good horsepower. was I reach into my pocket at one point on the ride home just to make sure and I felt the lanyard from skis. Sounds like those are those and Griggs and I was saying like this is. It's a pattern like friend. This is the Frankie situation that he finds himself in this makes for good fodder on this podcast. But I'm sure he wishes that didn't thoroughly enjoying this. This is one of the worst ever. Yeah and you're GONNA be on the bachelor tonight. Yeah so excited fucking superstar bag proven crazy. Very nice of you guys to say Yeah I am. I'm watching I can't wait to watch. I walked in. I haven't even seen the video yet. So when's podcast comes out will have all seen the full video. But it's going to be something I would love for filming 'cause I just would've been right member. Yeah you've been really quickly. I was rooting pretty hard form. That same level of dominance got us where we are. Take a deep breath every decision that you've got to spend the night there. There's no sense to drive hard to describe. Look on your face. You got new clothes solution. Ten producer went ten rounds of themself. They have a new producer in the building. Yep Do you have any producer accent once Jason Mike. How you doin' introduce yourself to the to the team with Joel's Brennan Jones here He ARC named little interview couple weeks ago. War A shinnecock people are quarter. Yeah thought I'd try to flex. Wow this is pretty good. It's higher. You're you're the oldest is first thing he said to me. It was fucking Shinnecock. I'm here rumblings that you're the You are the extreme backup goalie to the New York. Islanders emerging. What is I want that job? What does this mean what I'm Gonna I'm GonNa shut that if I if I ain't GonNa Learn Bachelor? What does that mean so I go to like ten to twelve games a year home games only and serve as the arenas emergency backup goalie? So you're both teams teams emergency backup goalie and has incredible. How many times in history has this happened with the emergency but I mean the main one was the Scott Foster when he went in me like seven or eight saves against the jets was two years years ago Blackhawks and he bugs dress like often not often but once or twice this? If somebody say you bug the Emergency Tobacco fucking love. How do you try calling you your e book for now to be honest? I just got like a voicemail one day from a guy he's like. Hey this is so and so from the islanders. I heard you know you played hockey in the area. I played at Stony Brook University. Nice and I have a couple of friends that work for the organization organization and they kind of just put it in a good word and said hey this kid's not afraid to jump in there and get hit with pucks if need be Holy Shit. I gotTA talk to the Rangers about you. Haven't gotten that voice mail yet. It hasn't been on your phone where they're like. Hey you believe it or not would love to have a goalie off between e bug and lurch total. Oh still in the CAN I go ten break raise on each of you. See who scored. You're not a problem. I need to approach this is. Let's say let's say you doing the policy would you. Would you have any comments that you'd Beatty Book. Probably not but maybe there's a chance I'd love to hit some. I now consider yourself a professional goalie. Am I going to be referred to as e Bug. Oh you're what are you GonNa Start Selling Abe Lincoln. I'd be like I'm a professional. I mean no not about our global symbol. Not until I put on that Jersey Lou Lou at the end of the season. Lula Merle gives you your nameplate because like your name. So they haven't made and they're just stitching on real quick in case you gotta go in so Tennessee's an what are they gonna do just like leave it there So he gives it to you in like a frame wow ladders all written like well probably somebody else but he signs it company INC dude. That's horizon so so here's my weight one less because I really do gotta go so. And where's your phantom lie. Who are Fan of tells the truth? Let's go range joining fan so I grew up out in Suffolk County. Long Island went to like a tunnel. I wonder games growing up my family. You're about to break ranger fan okay. So he's a ranger fan. Here's a quick spies. You here's the other question is how do they trust like what if the Rangers. What if it's islanders rangers right? I can answer. This wouldn't be islanders. Ranger's game eighty two at the NASA calcium and Ebba goes in there and it's fucking overtime and the winner gets into the playoffs and the Rangers are coming down. He's the goal for the honors. And he just lets in a goal because he's a ranger fan. I know that they say like integrity. Whatever but like you could just do it right I would go in and try right there? NHL Players. They're probably GONNA score. Anyway I know isn't that crazy. They have an arena goalie but also like Johnson Devaras when he's playing for the islanders owners is he like letting the maple leaf score because he grew up a fan of the many police right. Maybe now but chance you best believe all true through the heraldic percentages of take me out in the fucking hall of fame. They'll do they put you in the record books. If you make a safe to get paid any story I sign a ATO amateur tryout agreement. And if I go in in the League minimum one day correct no I don't I don't I don't think so. This is incredibly grant or something like that right. You guys guys keep me up for just a couple of days one out of four tanger an English and we're off the next three days like maybe coming before the next right that's true. I didn't even know join practices. That would be something that I was like super interested in getting out there and like you know like daytime like some of those guys. They they don't want out there and they get out there all right. I got a great really. Do not quite bug emerging trend set up but that'd be like emergency back g dump people podcast okay. "It opened up about a year ago. Open backup in two thousand eighteen original Donald Ross designed Tom Fazio got his hands on on it. Bunch of people got their hands on it. We just got our claws on our pause on it or golf balls on our our wedges in our drivers putters is all over that damn thing and it was spectacular. No more future bullshit. This is it. We're North Carolina. We just played all the courses is a couple of minutes ago. You hurt us at after punish number two. It took us about twenty four hours is that took us about twenty four hours to get here to where we're at right now but we're back and listen. We played number four. It was my favorite course. I've played yet. Were not going to give it all away. I'm GONNA edges. Should you again. There's a video coming. We we interviewed are caddy in what she saw. He's getting he's lost their first game in a month and I'm a little upset. I'm a little I'm a little emotional. So maybe that's what you're hearing voice. Okay could be you know the islanders lots of the penguins. We lost in a shoot out. We had a three nothing lead in third. We lost four three. It's really tough to swallow. It could lead to handle that whole tough really tough. It's just tough out just really tough out there. Here's a so you're tiger so just that just those knows how reword that is maybe four. They're really tough. You know. It's just really tough further wraiths realizing about this arrayed saying that number four because I think people get bullying bullying but they pressure number two is there because of all the prestige and what what comes along with it but number four was across the board at least with us our favorite. Yeah someone said to me earlier like go number. Four is my favorite. I don't just say that to be contrarian so he must I get that a lot. Probably thought that it'd be a contrarian genuinely enjoy I genuinely enjoy number. Two Number Two was light ears better than a Marie. I disagree with that I thought number was fucking awesome. It was harder to shit. It was hard as shit but I thought it was awesome. Then I got onto number four four and I was like this fucking is awesome. Yeah I thought number four was one of the best. Course I've ever played and that's like no bullshit that we played pebble beach. I put NBC. We've played fucking awesome courses. I thought number four was up there with all of them. I agree I think number. Four is one of the cools and and and best asked overall experiences. Golf course wives that I've ever played had such a cool look to it from the waist areas like it had a mix rothen waste areas and bunkering. You'll hands and redone a bunch of the bunkers. So it had like a lot of different looks it was it was unique. It stood out every hole ooh felt like was memorable. You can go through the round and each T- like one of my big complaints about number two and again number. Two is considered to be one of the Greek courses in America one of the best championship courses in the world. It's a phenomenal golf. Course I love everything about it but at some point you have to like other courses better worship forever and and I like number four more but one of my big complaint number two is i. I did feel like there are a lot of holes where you stood in a t in at like at the end of the round. You don't necessarily remember one from the other a lot right like they were a little bit like M- they blended together Whereas number four it felt like you stood on so many teas and they were distinguishable? We said this in the video but there are a lot of t's were we walked on T.. And everyone in the group pulled out their phone and take a picture and be like many times number two because at number two was just like a bunch of wasteland and fairway and Crazy Greens. That's like all was from time to time older older over and over like number four hundred color red trees on it. There was a ton of like there was a ton of cool little bunkering. It wasn't that much waste area. That was fair way. There was rough off. It was cool. Man In there was vista. When you elevate whatever it was like you started to see you look out to your to your left and I guess it was three? It was the third hole where you play that that little Dogleg laughed par-four and you get out there and you can see through the trees in your life. You can see like this pond in these hills behind it in all these trees and all these offals they said from that point. Of course you can see like fourteen holes of somebody who's fourteen golf balls goes on his job the same property. That's that doesn't make any sense crazy. Use this word but it's a GUSTA ask it. Was that word a couple times today. People were tossed. It's not worth we're using it. The caddy's that the loopers shelter Logan I talked about him a couple of minutes ago. which was yesterday? Logan my caddie. I think I'm going to invite them to my future wedding writing. Yeah I have type of connection in which I can't replicate with anyone else. Does he double looped for you and me. Today didn't happen yesterday or twenty two minutes ago whenever you're listening to. But he was he's a great guy re Greens. Like you wouldn't believe I. So everyone was old. FRANKISH GONNA be destroyed at Pinehurst with with his butter knives and all the Turtle Hurdle Back Greens and like this is the worst place in the world for him to go. You can go anywhere else until whatever I had logan on my bag. Punishment between Patterson before the ball never once rolled rolled back to my feet once because of his rees won like two or three times throughout the two days of thirty six holes. I putted it too much and too far are in which went over the green and onto like the fringe area but never wants that he give me a read in which it was like a mistake which happens to people that play pioneers. All the time where you're like. Oh Oh I just didn't know where it was going to go right back to happen to you thousand times. It feels like Trent for Logan Points of thousand did have a point but it to happen a few times I will be so dialed in and I didn't even score that great today. I shot a better number. I had a goal. I beat it and I had a couple of triples and doubles three triples and two doubles. I'm giving away without my score. I I had a couple of blow up holes but Logan had me so dialed today that like I swear him and invited to my wedding. We do look at him. He'd be like the PIN would be fifteen feet to the right of where he's standing. He goes hit it right here and let it die. I'm like are you kidding being me are you kidding me. He goes just trust me. I hit it up their balls ends of tapping range. tap-in tap in you know it was it was on the fourth par three hours crazy. He he goes hit all the way up here and I said I said Logan. There's no way the balls in a way like everyone even agreed like there's no way ahead up there it's just going to take a sharp right turn and it did headman. He goes one more you in the hall like all we always just so confident like and so the caddy experiences. So huge Ryan Whitney actually actually Texas huge while we were just on our way to the to the brew went to we went to the pine The the brynner's enters brewery and Whitney was texting me. Like how pioneers niners isn't that the sickest place you've ever been and then he's like asking me how a shot and I was like man my my he goes out. I said I didn't play bad today. But my my caddie really dialed me. And and he's like the caddy makes the whole difference at the whole Makes the whole experience. Because I guess he's been here before in which his caddy meters experience or didn't make his experience like I think the Caddy Eddy makes experience here pioneers because we played like the we played the cradle today without caddies and like some of these fucking green possible. It's impossible to know where they're gonNA go like and I know it makes you feel like less Golfer when the guys telling you where to put but it makes it so much more fun fun team effort man you guys do it. He's like hey well you know I think it's about Maybe two and a half cups outside left. What do you think? And I'm like yeah. I was kind of thinking that too. But thinking about hitting this a little bit firmer. He's like all right. Maybe it's like a cup and a half then and you know and like you have that you have that relationship and that conversation that like you strategic approach. It's a part of the game. Do you watch your caddy. Take that walk around the green. And you're like this guy cares about what I'm about to do. You feel a sense. Of like he cares about me making a PUTT. I felt that about Logan all day like he would go to my my my. He'd he'd kneel down now in front of my ball and then he'd take a walk. Say say let me walk around. Let me walk around your side. Let me take some walking around money. Let me put some changing my job. Goes I walk on. Walk around your fucking read and he did that. Multiple ties her. I'm like dude. This guy wants me to get close. He Walter close and it never once like hit me where it was like. Oh if I hit a bad putt or something he never once was like oh like it was just a huge would say like all right. We didn't read that one right or you know what I mean like. It was always like there was no there was no. We're in this together on the same fucking paid. I think all pines is like that you can tell that Austin had he fucking barn. All those guys look sick. Every single one looks like looks awesome. I'm going to give love to Austin. Also today out there man. He had me going. We had such a good round going. I may or may not have collapsed at the end. You have to wait and see on the video but I had a nominal round going phenomenal in my boy Austin had me dial right in your on the exact same page three Jason Club selections reads. He had after one whole. He's like all right what's reset. We're going to reset. We're going to Redo this. Let's get back into the round and we did. Some guy. Austin was phenomenal. But you're right the cat. He's making a huge huge difference. There certain courses that you need to have caddies and they're a part of the experience in this this pinares. I can't explain. Imagine what we would've shot if we're not gonNA give the numbers away and I played better number four today than the rest of the day with a huge blow on the first of all. I'm not trying to give that away but if I didn't have a caddy out there epic blow up in the first that everyone has to walk isn't even can you call to blow up if you haven't had any success before that. Yes okay because you have had success you drive the ball down fairways your I t machine like you play good golf. You're very capable making bogeys consistently in. This was not that it wasn't that but imagine playing the pinehurst screens without a no. I can because like who is our cat. He hadn't number eight was his name. Don Don't Dalton Dome was a really really good kid. Huge foreplay fan. said he knew exactly who we were. He actually didn't know who we were until he walked into the fair to the reins he walked up to me on the ranger number eight we had spoken all the CBD ABD MD guys and we were like hanging out and then Dalton comes up he goes Holy Shit. I got on my bag today. I'm like yeah. He's huge foreplay fan. But like when when you have a four catty and he's just really like doing putters and Greens and stuff. You don't get the same connection as when like no logan was carrying your bags at number eight. I felt a lot more on my own. In which like I was really just taking care of the whole foursome like raking Greens. Like I asked him a couple of ingredients Reagan. Reagan muggers couple. I know it is late. It's been fucking just. He's out here. Raking Greens listening. It's been a couple minutes from each fucking thing but like it's been four days. We've been doing a lot of work. Eleven CBD govern when you're supposed to.

"Green you're getting fifteen percent off. There was something about the course that I was gonna say it was so it was so perfect. That's a shame I was so ready to drop it as a man. They're going to be so happy. I dropped optus new just forgot. Shame off Mamiit today. I don't even know in on the back that I lost track left atom up. Yeah Eh in the video to. You're a good shape. Yeah I feel good about the skins I I was very happy with the with the Premiere World Class. US Open Golf Course. Yeah I'm excited for number four because number four seat I mean Ray. I can't even speak rigs thinking. He's risking his breakfast thinking so loud right now. Yeah he's making a noise but he's it's loudest thinking going off like a Tornado Siren. He's just think of what he's going to say like the word thing. Yeah yeah try and get something to Hook it trigger that trigger that thought daily man you John Daly putting eleven he made eleven kept coming back and back and back over back and forth back in John Daly and I got nothing. Wow whatever I had my brain is it just gone John Rare. It's a rare thing I don't even know I'm not even what planet am I on. We played the cradle so the cradle which is lab. I think it's two years old to cradle. It's seven hundred eighty nine yards total. It call it They call it. I think the most fun ten acres golf whatever it is it. Is it ten ager somewhere around there. It is a nine hole. Par Three course that sits right out in front of the clubhouse at Pinehurst and it it is a delight. I think Trent Daddy said it was the most fun. Maybe he's ever had certainly from a kid from Iowa so let's the Iraq man airplane the water skip on water. It's an APP way and then you just chuck John Deere Fuck you fuck. It was so much fun on the you know what's fun about it is that it's it's accessible for everybody. We US three played our producers Jake Andrew they played and everyone just has a good time. It's a I mean. The longest hole is one hundred twenty yards. A lot of them are seventy fifty. I five sixty five. It's just like a lot of fun and anybody can do it. I think we you guys would agree that it was an incredibly fun time in like. I said anybody can do it. It's quick it's nine holes. It took us about two holes that are fifty yards fifty four yards fifty eight yards where it's like you could literally put it if you want to Landing and that might sound ridiculous like fifty five yards. What are you even doing out there? Like half of us hit the green on that whole because the green. There's a huge knob before the paint and you have to flight light it perfectly if you don't it like bounce skip over and then you've got a classic Pinehurst number two type Putt or chip and then there's other ones that are like punchbowl where it's like you you just throw it up there with a wedge from seventy five yards and it will spend towards the whole and you have this kind of electric moment on every shot wherever it's like. How did it go into the people that are up by the Pied Hyde going? which the pinecone is this like trailer? They role in this like what wouldn't trailer. Yeah they roll in. That's the bar it opens up and it's like the bar where you get drinks the bartender right there. Whatever you guys want and the pinecone sits up at like three different points? It's after three after eight and then kind of on another team as well and it's kind of the highest point on the cradle so there's a bunch of people that are always getting drinks that are like watching a couple of the different shots because they're at the higher point chirpin everybody's laughing and having a bunch of drinks there's music playing the legitimate. They have speakers like hidden into the Internet. I didn't see the speakers. Here's into like the trees music but I didn't see the speaker. The ways areas. They just have like speakers that you can't even see because they blend in that are just playing country music. It was so three clubs they give these cool old school bags. E put them in rigs took his shoes off. He took his socks off air foot barefoot out there as including rigs. Jake was barefoot as well know somebody who was barefoot. But it's just like number two. This was a US Open course. This is a serious. Golf KEROUAC rains. You'RE GONNA get killed out there. It's very very difficult. And then you come off and you play the cradle and it's just it's fun again not that the number two I had a great it experience but the cradle is just. It's pure fun. It's never not fun. It's always so much fun it was. It was so so much fun I was dialed in with my wedges which you know you don't want to hear that but and that's also a video that's coming out that's a little tease digital we were hit off the mats which was something I love. Matt's you do love math. And so the reason automats because the grass can't grow at this time of the year so everyone just chunk in a wedge course so it's like if you think about how many fucking divots come on a wedge edge course you have the grass doesn't grow back Greg. We were hitting off math. which made a little bit harder but also form and you can just spin the ball right? Everyone just hits a pure shot of a man. Yeah Yeah nobody is such a fun experience. Nobody cares tell me you hit off your head off off. Carpet was a weird whole too. I liked it. Yeah that's how I mean it's just so fun. It was so just perfect amount of like hills and and like balances when you because you're only hitting fifty five yard shot so like you would think that it would be an easy chip it but like like there was one where I hit on the right side and I was like. Oh yeah baby kicked to the left and it just kicked to the right one hundred feet and it's like Oh shit man what's up there then you get up there and you're putting over Bunch of stuff. It was a lot of fun. must do if you come to pie must must do a train. That went by love is such a train guy I starting. I don't know man you know. I think the reason is because my dad used to have and set up during the holidays a toy train throughout our whole basement. Oh really dude. We love Christmas. In one of my favorite activities was like setting up that train. We've I oh man. Awesome awesome awesome. Yeah we used to have one that like during the Christmas time that would just go around the tree under. That was always very fun. John Deere the train. Yeah does John. You're trains now. I don't think so. Probably Not John Deere Shirt today. That's right took a heavy trucks. Yeah Yup Smith's no structure picture rocks. I don't know what has trucks. Are those wheels hold on now. Hang on the Frank Frank Sinatra Ballad Struggle Google right now dude and has trucks back and have A. Hey Nah hey now that has sharks back. Yeah Nope Dude. I don't know what's happening every every year. Hess came out with a fucking new truck and it was like an airplane. It was a truck. It was a corvette. Oh yeah it was a It was Ad Wheeler and you had to get the heck truck insane okay. I'm seeing now. I'm seeing now. I never knew one was called Hashtag truck. I've definitely the train came by. I started just saying chew out loud. Last time I saw a train. I think was chambers back when we were on like. Oh Yeah Fourteen fifteen. That was a that was a train. Headed Shaper Hogwarts at chambers bet on this fucking water is there was like mountains in the background and this train rain was just chugging along and had the smoke stack it was chugging along straight to hogwarts and I I. You can't convince me it wasn't it was it was out of a fucking fantasy land Bob. This one was a little bit more real was just GonNa say I don't know yeah. I still every word that I said. I want. People know that thirty percent of my brain power has been focusing on trying to remember. Remember what I wanted to say. It's it's contagious is i. I was Gonna say something in an email popped up in the names of Dave Porno and everything that in everything that was in my brain weekly evaporated SOS mode. And I was just like what do I do know. It was just like an email upcoming pizza review guests but I was like what. What did I do? 'cause I'm out here playing too much golf. I just feel much. I've played to Malcolm too much but you know we've actually been working our Dan Dixon out here. Where this this video or put out this video series? It's going to be awesome. And we're you know we're doing interviews and stories and it's non stop putting out this podcast and we're doing it every day. I know it sounds. I like champagne problems because it is. We're playing pioneers which is awesome. Yeah no but overall we had like the perfect golf day you perfect golf day. Play number two pinehurst and it's it's a true test. It's very difficult cull. The Greens are insane. And then you afterward go you play the cradle you relax you play a very fun round of golf and that's it. What a cool day? Next up we'll talk about pilots number. Four which you the Laura but in a couple of minutes we're going to have a little transition. Maybe an ad read who knows that the android is going to be. I don't know we don't know the with Tintri because it's so long from now but you're just gonNA listen to what happened to me tomorrow now. I've been luckier. I've made it this far and each day. You've heard me in the next time you hear. It could be like two people in the podcast and they're just like Frankie died Mavin too much. CD guarantee you could overdose Sobat. Nate wants Barstool. Nate once had too many. CBD Gums and you've got all wacky trustful in a piece trust ball and that's when the dog vigo the trustfall Indians in our office. Trenton and nates it behind me and I remember one dime mate was just doing a buffet of bits and he was just getting wacky and being like doing doing all these things and I looked like what's wrong with you. Name and current takes off his luck into his headphones and looks at associated he goes have you had have you had cbd today today was just like a parent that was like. Did you have too much sugar this morning. Because you're bouncing off the walls. I have to ask him when he starts when I see him walking across the office doing trust falls the people. Who did we get the new ship because natives taken too many for that you next? You're GonNa hear us what we did. Play number four which is surrounded number. Two which is awesome number four is an original Donald. Ross design that has actually been redone many different times most recently only by Gil hands who we had on the show and apparently it's very different than it's less than a year it's been open right. Yeah the new version less than a year. I think so So next up number four you guys guys are about to time travel again about the time travel. You have no idea what happened but you act. You're going to know what happened in a minute back to the future. We'll talk if you think about in life. Okay one minute you're just is going to like know what we did. We saw the paint Stewart Statute of that was awesome. Oh yeah now so cool you got a little dusty. We had one interview talking about Payne Stewart and it cattle got seek time next before you got me through this entire trip walking courses lefter getting in getting up standing up walking Ronin chasing golf balls around what you made me super comfortable the whole time. What you gave me a nice little pocket from goods was that Tommy John? Tommy John Nice. That's the only underwear in our Georgie. Through everything else out gone gone through away can own a hard a hard reset on all my underwear Tommy John. Here's the other thing. We had a huge debate with Some of the girls in the office. Who actually wasn't a debate? There was just one answer and they asked what what what are you guys wear under. This is is a real argument that we had with. Ria Fran Casey Kate all these girl Ellie They they were like we like to see men in boxer briefs and you you know these like nice looking tight to your legs to have a little pouch. You can see what's going on not these childish pieces of cloth that my chicken legs look like. They're you know they said that. That's like a boy. You're like a an unattractive boy boy or like you're like how a girl girl will wear like their boyfriends extra big boxers and they'll walk around the house that's you know you want to put on boxer briefs that are tight and snug and they just. They're made out of material in which I said this a couple times like it's like these these places that come out with these crazy materials. It's like they went to another for the world to get him like how does how does Tommy John come out with this comfortable of an underwear and other companies. Can't I don't get that. What did they did they did? They buy out the market. Ah of comfortable on Newark. Because it's you can't switch to anything else I've I once ran out and I tried to use a competitor of them and I had it and I I literally I went went back into my hamburger and put on one that I wore than you're right. That's how bad the other ones that I'm not kidding with you. It feels like this type of light weight breathable fabric. That's that soft could only only come from like Pluto like they had to go to deminers out of the middle of the planet Yup and then bring it back and put it on your body so something was going viral today on twitter that there's like an asteroid that's worth six quin billion dollars like they have all gold and iron and stuff on the on the I said they but the Astros people have all.

"We are now talking to you on Wednesday night of our trip after having in the past told you that this was going to happen. Move that we hadn't experienced that yet. We have now experienced. Yeah we talked about how you were gonNA experiencing not before us but you're gonNA hear ten seconds from now. We are now in that they have ago was yesterday. which was Tuesday half ago? They time traveled. Yeah you is time travel and we made it. I'm still living me to you. Know I I woke up. Brush my teeth ate some. CBD Gumy's I walked around the main. Sal Oh you stopped yourself. CBD I've played Pinehurst number two and all this stuff happened to play the cradle. We all this stuff. Everything happened in the last minute that you've you last heard me from yesterday you. People time traveled twenty three hours and fifty minutes. Yeah crazy absolutely crazy but yeah. We just played Pioneers number two Donald Ross original Donald Ross nineteen seven designed. It is the the staple the flagship of Pinehurst resort hosted said three. US opens a PGA Championship. Ryder Cup in Nineteen fifty one the US Open returning here in twenty twenty four. It was redone by bill core and Ben Crenshaw. I think two thousand ten thousand eleven and was ready to go for the two thousand fourteen US Open which was won by Martin Primer it hosted the first time ever back-back men's and women's US Open's Michelle. We won that. US Open so Martin Calmer winds at one week and then the next Sunday Michelle will you wins the US women's open so that was one of my first big golf blogs little blast in the past there Michelle. We win in the Winning that tournament shoe twerk afterwards. Oh and that video I went viral and I blocked it. Little Barstool throwback as well good for you Trent that you're always on. I think I blog that real late at night. It was really the show. We like she in like semi-retirement retirement right now. She got married and then she just tire. She's got that wrist injury that keeps coming back that keeps coming back. Keeps coming back She's always giving updates on it but She did when major and I blog it that she did get married. So congratulations to them thing. That happened months ago. Fun Bunch of our chatter yesterday slash two. You would have minutes ago was about Coming into Patterson or to the Greens everybody says t green. It's not that crazy You know it's not going to be necessarily that different than some other courses sources that you've seen hit the fairways you should be fine But around the Greens. The turtle about Green's the eggshell. Greens it's going to be crazy town it's gonna be severe runoffs and slopes and you got very small little plateaus to actually land. Keep the golf ball on where we found out incredibly incredibly incredibly quickly that that was the case that first part I disagree with you a little bit on. I don't know just in terms of what it looks like. It doesn't didn't look like a course that I'd really played on before in terms of the waste areas right off the fairways. I most of the courses I play like the ones everybody plays where you gotTa Fairway. And then he got a bunch of rough this one. It's just a fairway and then it's all waste area which yeah I. I didn't prefer it made me feel like I had a smaller landing area. When I've got my driver going which is pretty consistent really early on it wasn't it is very good You're a consistent driver. The Gulf people. I think some people may think you're being sarcastic. There you have an extremely consistent drive. I'm I'm hinted that he hits seventy percent of his ferris. Yeah and I would say you your ball your drive ball flight. Why and total distance traveled is within like ten square yards? Every time you hit like a fifteen yard cut that goes like whatever whatever your distances and it goes within five or ten thirty students and fifty yeah roles a little bit to the right. This is very consistent assistant. I wasn't joking. That's just one. I think three fairways today and the only reason you did that was two of them. I think you're flailed out to the right so you didn't really and you may have missed more but the ones I remember number two of them you fly out to the right because you just kind of pushed it and one of them you pulled because it was supposed to cut back in every other one I think you just perfectly hit up and it just landed in the fairway but I think that's part of it too. It is consistent and part of that consistency is it is a nice little cut but it does sometimes get away from me a little bit and turns into a bit of a slice. Yeah and on a normal course that we would play. I can leak out into the rough and I'm used to that. I know how to deal with that here if you did that. It would leak out into these waste areas that I'm not used to come in once you start hitting you realize it's not the end of the world you can get out of there and it's fine. I I loved the way say but initially initially. It's a very good point. You're right it's not it is. It is unlike any other course that you've ever played in that regard. I guess all I meant was that black. It's not particularly challenging. I don't think tee to green whereas Bethpage the page black is impossible degree. And that's where like the caution sign comes from the warning sign But bethpage black is not that hard once you get on the Greens and a relatively flat. They're not crazy crazy. Whereas this was sort of the exact opposite whereas I feel like if you hit good drives you'd have short irons in and you can kind of attack golf course but where you would get your Ch- your Dick kicked tin was all on and around the Greens? Now you are right that it is drastically different in that. There's no rough or your kicked in if you're female Listener Regina major breakdown by this course the Greens in particular the waste areas and all that incredibly unique unlike any other golf. Course I've ever played in. It's really dependent on in terms of like your experience. You're someone who's just comfortable with those kind of like hard pan slightly. Sandy lies like some people. Just pick it clean off. They're like Frankie for example like Frank. He's a guy who picks the ball clean most of the time anyways. And so you you're used to get the groove and we're just just hitting out of that stuff unless you end up behind one of those tiny little bushes which can happen but for the most part you just end up in like these little sandy areas and it's not that big of a deal. Yeah somebody said we played number eight a couple of minutes ago in the podcast and then today we play number two drives got significantly better today. My tempo was better. I had a couple Duff's of course the first tea or whatever the whole thing couple a couple tops. And that's been happening to me. I lift my head but I found myself like missing the fairway but like running off into this area. And my Caddie Logan's shadow to my Guy Logan whom who me and him were just having an egg in all day just like we were POWs out there. He was just telling me like hey man like yeah. We're not in the fairway but like like Rick said you pick this ball clean and you're gonNA you're supposed to fly out here and to the point where we were there now. We're we said this yesterday or a couple of minutes ago. We're not going to give away too much because he's videos. Those are going to be outrageous. They're going to blow your Dick off tees. It's a toy. It's a tease like you've all you age. Only if you're you're of age if you're of age because I feel like the word diddle is oh man is anonymous with pedophilia. What why can't you did a little deal Burson? You can't diddle juvenile word because that's as taking that word away from it have you know the pedophile vials taken. That word man you know for most friendly you know. It's like a good time of why we don't like about it over here. You know. It's a good word to the last guy going dude awful series horrible so tail in each other and we we just like do. There's this one hole where I had fuck man. I think I had one hundred and seventy eight yards and I was like man like I'm a wasteland here like I've bunker underneath and he looks at me he's like take this six item like six iron like I hit. I hit seventy one seventy five like one seventy two. Why would I take? You got wind up there. No you can't feel it. Trust this. He's like you hit the ball pier and I I made contact on this ball and this waist area and and when I made contact all I hear logo he just goes. Oh God like I'm like. Is it too far. He Goes No. It's perfect as this ball is is just be lining right to the pen and it was just like like that is about shivers senior to the noise at middle lip in front of in front of me in a bad spot in the wastes. DOC SHOULD I. And it was a Par-four Long par-four and me and Logan just looked like holy. Fuck man this wasteland area. You almost made it very. It's almost birdie. PUTT Captain Power Really Good Hall and it was just like one of those moments where I was like. You know what like this wasteland areas cool I like that I'm not in thick rough. I liked it. I'm in like a crazy crazy. Hard panned sand area where there's a lip in front of me but like it's really not in play and the smack the shit out of this ball because you never in trouble at that point you know. There's tons Ed block where you hit an inch off the fairway. And you're chipping out into the fairway into the fair because you don't know whether shot or else you're going to be at city. MD because your frigging rhys broke. Yeah no it makes yeah. It's I enjoyed the shit out of that. And I'm opposite of you on the aesthetic of it when I'm on a tee box I love seeing a pure green fairway when there's just white white wasteland to the left and right I think it pops. I would've disliked it more if I didn't realize how it wasn't as difficult to get out of of as you thought it was going to be once you head out of there a couple times you're fine you get used to it like you're saying obviously you did great in. Its first time in there. I was like I'm GonNa make I'M GONNA go double digits because I don't know how to get out of here menu. hit it out of there. I pick it clean most of the time too so I though I thrived in those areas but initially I was scared. Yeah it is very dependent on on the your your style and your comfort level with those types of lies like some people are just. They're so mind fucked on those wispy sandy lies is that it will ruin their whole day and then there's other people who are like this is way better than being in the rough. I don't even care if I miss the baragan pretty much hit this anywhere on the golf course. And I'm I'm fine and it frees you up and whatnot and like you learn to that for the most part whether you're in the sandy area whether you're in the fairway like Aww you're just going to end up in the little runoffs off the green anyway. So it's going to the front of degree of the same shit no matter what the Greens that are these eggshell Greens there..

"Do was amazing like South Rain and it's even McDonalds them like they did more but like the the the number dollar is designed so many courses as you could argue that he's so much more impactful than the others because four hundred plus courses these crazy like there's almost like there's not a city that you you can go to and not be able to experience. Don Ross Gus. And that's that is not that nuts and there's been nine of them have been perceived by the world as a top one hundred things everyone that plays the game of golf thinks that nine of his courses are the best of the best nine of them nine of them. That's a lot and it sounds a little when you think about like. He's made four hundred but to get nine in the top one hundred hundred is crazy loony town so number the number four course. I'm just kind of looking up things in real time. Pioneers number four was a nineteen nineteen original Donald. Ross designed six years before built this House that we're staying in right now sitting by the fire telling you about this originally. It was not redesigned a restored until nineteen and seventy three when Robert Trent Jones came in in nineteen eighty. Two Reese Jones nineteen ninety nine. Tom Fazio it has been a partner to the US amateur senator strokeplay in two thousand eight and the US amador in two thousand nineteen which was just about two months ago that the pines number four and that is not even the most famous tie a a Donald Ross course here at Pinehurst the most famous one is of course number to select the Ross man is as legendary as again derry as legendary get so pieters were here. We had the great experience. We had an a plus breakfast this morning. I don't know how much we want to get into that. But they kept raving last. It's not about the breakfast. You gotta check out the breakfast. The breakfast spread and the officers got like the omelets. They got the waffles. They got chocolate chip pancakes. They got the buffet. They had a guy tickling the Ivories tickling the ivories while we're eating piano right behind the waffle station soothing. Everything you just said tickling the ivories behind the waffle station World Living Carolina hotel after a hotel just sounds like after. We took a shuttle from the door. Nick cottage which is where Donald. Ross live like where we in like. Snow White adorned cars to the Carolina Hotel and everything about this is crazy man. Like what are we doing. I don't want this to end. I'm going to be the fact that people are listening to. This now means that his ended for me and I am a person. And if you're listening to this and you're listening to how incredible it is. You don't have to come here and stay at the door nick cottage because you know what you're not allowed number two you should come here and stay wherever the hell you need to sleep in a tent. Stay at the Carolina Hotel. Do what you need to do but you have to come experience this because this golf resort is something. I've never seen him. We've only played one course right. Hand Golf courses stay. The Carolina Hotel Stain Villa staying in a cottage getting AIRBNB. It's a must do whatever we got to do. So we played today our first Pines Pinehurst Experience Pine Horse Horse Pinehurst Pinehurst experienced pilots number eight. I didn't really know anything about it. I knew about number two. I knew about number four. I knew about the cradle. Those were the three that I knew about even know how many courses Pinehurst has turned out. They have tens or Pinehurst number three. There's a pint is number one two three four five seven years. I don't know you know they just done the thing all right. So maybe maybe maybe they made ten courses right and number one's called the cottage and number two. They just called number two as it went on number two. I don't know because the the sick name and number twos at sick name proofing number twos a better name and number three number two number three number two just sounds a thousand times better than partners number three I think Medina number three is the championship. Course but I do think just sounds bad number two thousand even the way it looks and dot revisionist history. Because if they the number three was his famous Amos and I was number six was fame. Well yeah I thought maybe there was some writer for twice seventy nine eighteen hole courses and then the cradle ten courses sources tour was upon her summer. Nine there's not you nailed it Haider's number eight. We played today. It is a Tom. Fazio designed it is called the centennial. Neil course because it was built a hundred years after Pines was opened eighteen. Ninety five I believe is when Pinehurst when you look at their logo. That's when it says it was it was founded it was was open. Whatever and I think You know they started the designs and all that in the mid nineteen ninety s and I think they actually opened the Tom. Fazio number eight cores ores in Nineteen ninety-six. They call it the centennial course. I didn't know what to expect. It is Built on a wildlife preserves. They say there's basically no houses is on. There's no residence on it. which is different? Pinehurst is such a resort and a community that you will see like Dorner cottages and other things kind of around the property and there we really really didn't see much at all I will say there was. I saw one how there was a couple of houses in spots that only I hit them to you saw you yeah. We played punish number two tomorrow. There's houses on partners number to think they're like back in a way but the way I hit up to you today at parties number eight they need to do they mean to say they may need to say like Donald Ross's house. It's it's the same nineteen twenty five no restorations until Frankie. Braley came around peppered on the third hole he put one right through. You know his old wife's fucking window because I've been spraying the ball but go ahead. No high going in the pilots number eight was going to throw around. I thought it would be. Hey I've heard about to have heard about number four I'm really pumped play the cradle. I don't don't really know anything about the other courses. Like how good could they be. I thought pirates number eight today was really really cool. I thought like the visuals of what I kind of expected. Pinehurst golf to be kind of like hate you right out of the gate that first hole when you come over that precipice and that green. There's like a downhill approach to that. Green the green because of the The doormat grass. Where they say? It's like champion Bermuda at this time of year like it changes to the Greens had like this almost iron look to them of how slick they looked in their darker in contrast to the grass around them in the fairway day like stuck out like big time as they're almost more intimidating because it's so intimidating timid and like in that that among like the the natural kind of like sandy part of Pinehurst than the needles and the tall trees to me. It just stuck out so aesthetically as like dude we are at Pinehurst. I felt so pinehurst easy to me. Experience that I thought the Greens and I did a little bit of reading. And like Fosse oh His goal with building the course one hundred years later was like to make a little bit of a of an an Ode owed to Donald. Ross or like we got that like the Greens on Seventeen. We'll talk about the pin on seventeen. which is the short par-five but you will learn that it's short par-five for reason because agreed isn't insane that like if you hit the ball foot past the pin on seventeen like you rolled off the green into a busy legal pin placement and say like illegal illegal when it comes to like the rules and regulations of the US and all this stuff? But when I say illegal I think that someone who put the Pin. There should be arrested like you can away from their her family and put into a holding cell and you know given their their rights and all that stuff but the family has to only see them on the weekends. The whole thing because we're talking telephone through glad the phone I want. I want the kids to go up to the Glastonbury Papa. And like he like reaches Vince. How just touching their touching fingertips through the glass? He's like I don't know what happens like you put the pin criminals. You put depend on seventeen their own spot papa. You know I I thought I want the. Are you going to Miss Christmas put back. I think I am missing the next eight Christmases put the Damn Pin pointed out of fucking volcano tip like no matter where you put the ball you great to be lucky for it to stop. I'll just say this I had a Putt for Birdie and I was so scared of going over the backside three feet that I made a seven seven and it wasn't 'cause as I win over and put it back back in. It was that I was so scared of that fall off that. Drop off that I just kept nudging up. It's upside down bowls that's all it is. Yeah and the pins right on the top and you'd be lucky to keep it going up or so it doesn't roll back any feet and you'll be lucky to keep it next to the pencil. It doesn't roll off the back. It's the whole golf. Courses is like that crazy. The Greens were Were sort of from what we're being told those. Were like a warm up to what we're going to get pilots number twos outrageous moral and they were man like there were spots whereas I two five if I hit this too hard. I'm going to four-putt because I'M GONNA be way off the Greenham enough to hit up helmet way past. The woman have like the same put. I have right now. so that was treacherous. I thought Design wise at thought it was. It was very inviting off the Fella you could rip a lot of drives out there. have it like kind of land. Unlike a downslope enroll like on this coup fairway that set between between the Tall Carolina Pines like I thought that whole vibe was very cool. Have the same type of like Pie. Needles in clearing in between the trees is that tobacco road. Heads you kind of see through the vistas to like other holes there is a spot on like four fifth sixth hole ish area where there was this cool pond that kind of separated us and then like a few houses on the other side that like two or three of the green side sat on. That was very different than like the first three or four holes and then on the back nine there was like that four whole series..

"Take out the Alley Kelly. The wooden ships are just useless just immediately someone is built a big ass dealership. And they're like I don't know I was Zyppah. WHO's the first person to build a steel sheds like in like the French or the or the or the Germanischer wiped out the British ships man and World War One? They're fucking there's he's wouldn't ships in there and they just got toasted tough they were great and then all of a sudden man. We're going to be five with all these ships and then they just like. What is that out there ship? All their ships are exploding. Oh Pool would ship going up against us. Steel Daesh ship which over nope fucking chance so anyways that's like going up against tobacco row we just got our asses but we roll in very excited. We did a bunch of drone in which you guys are GonNa see. Wake up on Monday morning. Martha Big Shout Martha who is Head pro their pro their has kind of a lot of roles. She does social media as well dishing until like ahead of social media and the way their brand. Dan is going to be perceived and end so she played with us because we only got three out here like we said Multiple Times. Large can't make the trip. He's like business conference in Chicago. Dylan data real real chugging data conference. There's just three of US Martha place with us. I E tobacco road. Hits you with everything. Everybody's been talking about. There's here's these two giant mounds on each side of the fairway and it looks like you're at the most intimidating bowling alley in the world. Where you've gotta hit your drive through them turns out you can? I'm like driving over the mountains. which it's it's it's it's hard to kind of convince your brain of a message with your eye big time big time depth and that's so different unlike pilots number eight today which we played which will get to you but like that is kind of when you look at the visuals and when you look at some of those drone photos that we put out? You're going to be stunned be. How do you play golf on? That looks like another planet and this that and you know they talk a lot about. And you'll see this on our video about how you know Mike Strand. WHO's the WHO's the architect e? Rip All right P.. He passed away but you can tell he's such a legend around tobacco road and the way that he built it was like he used a lot of stuff. That was already there. So they're like they were saying you know we kind of detest a little bit when people say it looks like you're on the moon or it looks like you're on Mars because like this is pretty much like a lot of these land formations and stuff. He just used them and built a golf course on top of it rather rather than moving all kinds of dirt. I don't really care because it looks like you're on fucking say Martha did say she's like I hate when people say looks like it's a Mars because it's right here it's on you know. It's it's right in Sanford whatever. The place was called. Yeah Sanford North Carolina San for North Carolina and. She's like it's right here you can go and play it. You don't have to go to marsh the planet but like when we say it's like a Mars. It's your I'm used to. You know the traditional just straight up a little bit of elevation changes all green all green. You know regular bunkers. I mean here's another little fun fact about tobacco road they have zero bunkers zero. It's all waste areas. Yup a lot of them. You can drive your car right through it. There's no rain we're talking about right around the green to uh-huh yeah not everywhere no rakes on the course. Let's be real people there's bunkers fucking everywhere. One big bunker they just don't call it a bunker everywhere. There's some like reddish sand that looks again legit like Mars Ronald Love. You can ground your club you can like you. Don't have to rake after you. Just Kinda. Like walk out of. He'd drive a cart through it so he's GonNa Chase the lights to. Yeah Yup yeah does say on the back of the scorecard. They're like this is a local rule of you. Can't improve your position but you can improve your life. You can give you good because their waste areas like animals walk through it. There's an animal tracks cracks cards drive through it so like you're never gonna you. There's a lot of times you might end up in a little hole because people just like walk through the bunkers but like you know you you can set it and give yourself a good good lie really however you WanNa play like that. Because that's actually part that I really like because sometimes we go to these golf courses. Where when you're in the sand you feel like you are disturbing something people you're like? Oh boy you really messing up like how pristine this places. I like bunkers where waste areas as they call them where you can just kind of. Do whatever you will. Here's my big gripe with Gov in general in general yeah you hit a great shot and you know you hit it down the fairway. The way golf offshore be played is like you should be. You should be rewarded with a good second shot. And sometimes you just have these X.. Shitty lies like sometimes like the grass is just like weird. You should be able to always do what we did tobacco road and Improve Your lie all the time you know where it or like you know what I mean like even if it's not in the dividends it's like up on the side or or you're in that spot where you're in between the first cut and the fucking fairway like that drastically changes your second shot. I go from shanking. It till a kidding appears onto the green at the three-stroke difference for me. I've noticed that in my in my playing days your goal should be should be your in your own fairway you get like a scorecard hard leg away and you can just place perfectly right because I why why is it like you did everything you can breath and the intention is that you are going to be sitting on top of the right and Lafayette do anything more than that you like. It's so hard to hit the ball. Two hundred fifty or two hundred eighty yards straight. And you have this large inch target like that might be thirty forty sixty yards wide that like the amateur Golfer is horrible hitting the best players in the world hit it at like sixty five seventy whatever. It is percents of the time so if you hit that like that should just be one general. Great Lot the whole thing if lift clean and place was put in place for all amateur golfers across all public off. Course I'm talking across the board even the rough and in the woods wherever you need to be you would incur. You would improve pace of play significant. We think in the rough do anywhere anywhere across different roster. You should be rewarded. That's your awarding a shot. That wasn't that good true. That's that goes against what you're going for. But I go when they put apparently think of like how slow the game is just popped into my head. We don't have to get to know. pays the play wise. It's probably not the worst idea but anyways tobacco road One thing that we learned very quickly is that like it's more visually intimidating than it actually is intimidating B because that's right you know when you look at the course back you drive the ball shuttling shins. He said that's right ten million million times did he. Oh my gosh. I didn't notice that that's right. That's right he's very affirming person. People love that guy he's so great he the cavalier the best man I've ever met go at least you know dramatic but it's like one thing you learn is a tobacco backwards on a whole and you realize like man like we just hit it over those mounds like that looked ridiculous but if you just hit a decent drive a decent distance years it over those ballots not to jump to eighteen. That it's the prime example of that you drive of eighteen. You stand on that tee box and you and frank. He's got a pretty good. Sorry about this when I don't WanNa ruin it but You stand there like this is impossible. If I don't get it over this I'm I'M GONNA be in Hell. I don't know how many get out of those bunkers or those waste areas but then you realize the carry isn't that bad if you just hit a normal dr ignore all that stuff that's there. You're just playing Golf Martha. That was great for that. She was putting her mind at ease because she obviously she knows. Of course. She's passionate about the golf course. She knows where to hit it. We're not headed one of the things that a lot of people who reach not too upset about tobacco road is that just trust your your your Book Your Yard Book because there are spots in which you feel like oh my gosh. There's no way I have any chance. Wants to get this ball up on the green and they're like if you look at the book there's a ton of room even if you miss a green stuff on the ride stuff on the left now like this was no easy of course aside from the topography the there is a ton owner runoffs on this green on these Greens. I mean it was impossible to hold to hold anything I mean. We're not going to give it away and I know that sounds selfish. I know that sounds fucking Borgata. Loves Radio People but when you see this video I tweeted this out for anyone that may be wondering and they may have saw it. I said that what happened to me on number five tobacco road live on on with me for years. I'm not over exaggerated. No I think this clip will be one of the more famous clips we ever put out. Just because like I am and giving way too much about this but I wasn't playing that great on the front and I wasn't playing that great to begin with and I get to number five and I finally have hope and something happens to me on this whole that's just it's the definition of what can happen on North Carolina type of golf course like a pie owners or tobacco road where they have these crazy things that are going on on the golf course wacky and false for us just whacking nece. And you know you think you're going good and then you're you're just not but that's just you'll have to wait for the video because I think you're gonNA really die. Let me say this like I like Tobacco Road and and the folks tobacco road took such good care of us. Hospitality off the charts. It is a wacky crazy golf course it just it. There's no other way around. I I personally love that. Tobacco is in my opinion atop twenty golf. Course I've ever played. It is so fun it is so different. It's also a golf course wear Maher. I was three over. I three through like seven shot a crazy number and somebody demean you. I've played tobacco twice. I shot one. Oh four four and seventy six and like it's that kind of golf course where if you are hitting your spots. If if you're hitting it out there relatively straight at a pretty consistent distance you're gonna find yourself in good spots. There's funnels and bowls on on holes. Where like you can move the ball near the the whole and the Greens once? You're in a good spot. You can make aches and Positano Donaldson Bowls. But if you missed spots like if you chunk a wedge or something from if you're seventy yards out you chunk of wedge thirty are short you will be in a horrific spot that feels like you went from planet Earth to fucking the moon and you don't know what happened and how you're going to play a golf shop. We asked anybody who worked there. What's the takeaway? Most most people have when they play this golf course and they said it's fifty fifty most of the time people people say this was the best round of golf in my life. I can't believe this place I can't wait to come back and the other Hassle say I'm never coming back ever again and that's really that's a pretty you know that speaks to. What kind of Golf Courses Mike staz wanted that right strand straight strands? Mike Strength Wanted. He wanted. He didn't WANNA appeal to everybody right because then it's like a boring golf course like if everyone that comes loves it like it needs to needs to appeal to certain certain people that like like like to shape shots and like to hit the greatest thing. There's bowls that follow the ball down which now we're combining them but like I thought Tobacco Arroyo. Now that I'm thinking about it had so much more of the backstops where it was like. Yeah offers because of the pin placements but like when we played partners today it was like upside down fucking fucking bowls where you go up and you go down and that tobacco road. There was a ton of backstops where you could hit it in the back. Come on baby. Let's go and that's awesome. Which makes it incredibly fair and reminds me if anyone out there's played mammoth dunes? It's very similar to that. Where like you can hit shots into? Greens that are that are twenty or thirty feet past past the hole and we'll end up five below the hall all day long at Pinehurst number eight today..

"He hasn't even been we. Have we have literally one of the best prospect pools on the islanders and the entire. Nhl We have all these guys in the USA team. Canada Team Juniors everything. We're not going to talk about you. fucking called this kid up. He got shot. He's played for like the last week. He gets a penalty shot last night. At whole scores his first initial goal. He goes up to the fucking bench. They're going crazy for him and the reason I'm bringing this up his cousin Tom. The president of the entire thing of Pines was at the fucking dinner table with us at the pinehurst brewery. And I'm watching the game trying to hide it from him because I didn't want to be that like rude like a so. I had it set up behind the barbecue stuff that he couldn't see and then coal barge rose about the death penalty so I had the whole table watching and I think I town like sat up in his chair and he's like Oh shit like this when he scored. I saw the president partners. Give a little fist pump. He's like what are we doing here. We're watching the islanders I- pioneers that's what this place is your best friend to us when we came in. Welcome Home Yokum here if this is your home. Do we sat at the niners brewery which is only a year or two old. Looks like it's been over two hundred years we said the powder's Last night we had dinner our whole crew at the to produce. She's like you said Jake. And Andrew who will never the mic to ever again and then the three of us and So we had and then we are joined by Tom. Pasha who the president who I got to know At Ah Bandon dunes out there. Imagine now he's the nicest guy in the world and he's actually been contacted hineous up for like months maybe years you know I. Yeah I know what you guys do. And and we've added the cradle which has live music and the pine cone and and the brewery and we're trying to make it very clear that like this is more than just a destination for families This is a destination for like buddies. This should be pioneers. Should be on the map when you're looking at like places to go. Oh for buddies trips and Tom Pasha. Who is the nicest guy in the crazy on? Isis is such a powerful to overlook such a massive golf resort. Talking ten courses. You're talking restaurants hotels. He was telling us to US last night like he didn't know when he was going through it that he'd be like he wasn't like the food and drink industry in the hotel management and he was like he went for what marketing sales salesperson did sales in like worked. Always been here twenty the two years before his way up he started here pieters before the nineteen ninety nine. US Open which is the one that Payne Stewart one Last night he's telling us the whole process about like creating the logo for the cradle like that whole process which is a hilarious process and the different avenues. That went down to get that done. I have a cradle belt on right right now that I bought because after it told us it's a bellwether Pineau logo So caught the size. I thought I needed and it was one of the more embarrassing things I've ever thought it was a moment. 'cause I'm skinny any and I when I'm skinny fat. And I'm I got this pouch and this pooch you got ten. Yeah got these tests and I you know I'm a thirty to thirty two but now I asked appeared lars. Send me at thirty three hundred thirty. I sent the message. I'm like. Hey guys I know all those panty saying they just don cutting it anymore. So I bought just thinking like you know oh my whole life has been thirty to thirty two went in and I got a belt really nice belt thirty two and I tried to put this thing on. I swear it didn't even go around halfway. Oh I walked back in return to squeeze yourself into that Bell Walk Shave. There's a guy behind the pro shop at partners like didn't fit did it. There's like no dude. I got thirty. Four twos is getting up there man. Yeah getting up there. Yeah he's just like Didn't fit I didn't have to anything. Is that come on. Man You know Christina Kim so speaking of Pinehurst they had the accused series q-school four for the LPGA tour here Pinehurst over the last week right before we got here this was this has turned into quite the debacle has golfed tends to do So what what happened was she. I'm going to read this according to Gough Weeks Beth Anne Nichols who covers women's golf very well. The infraction action occurred after Christina. Kim Hit her. Tee Shot Thursday on Pinehurst number nine par three seventeenth hole as do. We were prepared to play the third player in the group Kendall die why motion to Weber's caddy asking if Webber had hit an eight iron SCHRAMM confirmed While players are allowed to look into their competitors bags to determine what club they selected they cannot ask players other players or their caddies Hattie's and so die had violated rule ten dash to unknowingly so had weber. Kim then went out and tweeted quick. PSA If you're a golfer please read and know the rules pleased with a bunch of like heart emojis. What happened was she like reported the incident so then the other two both got I penalize and it's turned into a massive thing metal die then came out and wrote like a long classic Screen shot your notes APP Basically saying like look at it turns out that what we did was against the rules. I've been playing professional golf like ten years. I did not know that that was against the rules. It's insane to label me a cheater. I wasn't cheating. I just didn't know it was against the rules because you can just look into somebody's bag and see what club club is missing and know what they hit. You can also just observe caddy or a player like if a caddy. We'll tell the encores reporter right like a lot of times. They'll do that to Roger. mopey yourself lashing the not flashing the number. You're able to witness that you're able to observe that deduce. What club they use that information? But you're not allowed to actually engage with the player or the caddy that hit the shop in any way like ask them or have them sit Signal to you what they hit and so they got a penalty for that so she basically came out. I just said I know that well that makes me wonder. How often do you think this happens? And nobody says anything all the time. That's according to everyone like Kip Henley. I saw who's obviously PGA Tour caddy had him on the show. Two or three times. He's very vocal on twitter Now like this happens on the PGA tour every hole which it does get a little dicey in there. Es and and people have been like defending Christina. Kim Who's taking a lot of heat for being like dark on this and that people were defending her being like well. Actually if you if you know of like a rules violation on the course in you don't say something then you're actually subject to penalty Italy so it's kind of a tricky tricky place to live it. Yeah I just think if if she never says anything. I think nothing happens like like I get the flip side of that argument to me on the other side is a little thin being like. Oh you knew so now. We're going to penalize you. I think it just goes and it happens and nobody says it's also so dumb home that you can look and find out what club the HIP. But you're not allowed to just like ask. What is the funding? That's GONNA ban both if you're gonna ban them curses the golf shit that people. Hey yes like why. Are we talking about this. You can't talk and see what club they hit when you can't verbally saying you can look. That's what's done so stingy about it. That's what's dumb either. Make it like a blanket rule. You're not allowed to like find out the information in any way standing next to the person who's get right so just get rid of the get rid of the rid of the rule. Stop being stop having golf rules. Be like why the fuck is that a rule like if I if you look at all of them be why is that a rule get it. Yeah Yeah Yeah. If anybody. If we're sitting here thinking why is that a rule you just kick it out of the race it using eraser or white out because it's embarrassing. He ever use whiteout. Oh Yeah Oh my God God yes. Yeah tons I used to pride myself on how clean as the white out stuff. Yeah being very meticulous about these So like my first week or two weeks of school a the middle school high school I used to get all my marble notebooks in all different colors and everything was dude first day of school. When you're writing down like the itinerary of what the class is going to be in the teachers rated than I was so fucking neat man? I'm talking if I mess up. I ripped the page out and start because I wanted. I always thought on here. How messed up this is? I always thought that like if I died. I want the people go through my books every dude when I was like thirteen I remember seeing a movie and I went into my roommate. Started dire in wrote like I wrote in it like I love my mom and dad in case anything happened to me. Like they'd go back to that on the podcast and like they'd go back and big. Oh He loved his parents look cute. You know what I mean. It's sweeten pretty sick and twisted dark. Man it is dark thirteen year old man a and some no no. Yeah that's sweet but also like a movie or something where that. Yeah no yeah. I looked underneath the managers. There was like notes and stuff. You Yeah Yeah you want to do some cute. Yeah just thought it'd be cool like I thought like I had to do that. Weird to send it to me. Yeah it's it's it's Zits. Sounds like leaving notes in case I died. A recent Gallup survey shows Americans worry more about burglary than almost any other more than mugging more than terrorism. The car theft and murder according to studies just over ten percent of break INS are planned beforehand. I almost forgot to put that part at just over ten percent break INS are planned beforehand. The rest spur of the moment crimes of opportunity in other words random. Did you know most break INS happened between six. Am and six PM. That's always surprised that throws throws me off for a loop. You always think doors at night. Bad boys are coming..

For Georgia Farmer, The Trade Tariffs Are Personal

"Support for this podcast and the following message. Come from Comcast business having the nation's largest gig speed network was just the start. Now, they're providing gig fueled apps and solutions that exceed expectations and help businesses perform Comcast business beyond fast, the ongoing trade dispute between the US and China is clearly having an economic economic impact on both countries. But tariffs can also affect people on an individual level. Nowhere is that more apparent than in America's agricultural communities. Stacey van expense and Cardiff Garcia hosts of the podcast, the indicator from planet. Money spoke with one farmer whose livelihood is now on the frontlines of a trade war, David Reid farms, more than two thousand acres of peanuts and cotton here in Pinehurst, Georgia and his crop started coming in last year. He says it was glorious. Oh, yeah. We had this crop. We ever had in a few years. And then starting over the summer a couple of things happened. I a trade war broke out the US impose tariffs on Chinese goods and China retaliated with import taxes of its own among the US goods, it China started taxing were peanut butter and cotton, basically, everything they grow in this part of Georgia. Then a couple of months later this happened. Hi there. I'm Brooke Baldwin live here in Destin, Florida where we are covering the official landfall of hurricane Michael feel Ross. Sorry. I walked any. Any? Category with in prisons ethic. David lost about a third of his cotton crop and a couple of fields of peanuts to the peanuts grand there. That's what was last left after the storm peanuts grow underground like potatoes. And this field has peanuts all over the dirt. David picked a couple of. But they were rotten from all the water from the storm show was kind of soft Tim apart in his hands. See that was a good peanut when it came to just some we didn't get picked at the storm. He the peanuts and cotton that did survive walk straight out of a storm and into a trade war, China's peanut butter and cotton orders from the US collapsed overnight and the price that David was getting for his peanuts and cotton both fell by about thirty percent. And what had been shaping up to be one of the best years in David's entire farming career turned into one of the worst years Pete ever seen. You know, we we planned to make a lot of money this year, but lower see it. But hopefully, we don't break even break. Even and David says, he is one of the lucky ones, there's some foam foams just worried, you know, I've heard him help in say, I don't know if I most of I've this or not, you know, it's heartbreaking David says that the economic effects of the storm and the tariffs haven't just hit the farmers. They've hit the whole area is hurting a whole community and equipment dealer in the guy down. Treat the hardware store in everybody suffers in spite of everything though, David actually supports the terrace at that. Well, that's not good for the former now. But I think it's the right thing to do, you know, and I think President Trump doesn't right? Thank in mafia union. I think he did a good thing. David thinks the macro economic issues between the US and China are important enough that the sacrifice feels worth it to him. Now, the government is providing millions of dollars in aid to cotton farmers and supplementing a lot of the peanut losses. It doesn't make up for everything doesn't make up for all the losses. But David says he is not going to switch to another crop. Neither is anybody. He knows they're going to continue growing cotton. And peanuts just like always. Why is that is Sydney blood? You know, what they've always done. Stacey Vanik Smith Cardiff Garcia NPR news.
