"Those decisions are being made Recommend it to the board of education by the superintendent and our leader center those that overlook the high schools and the middle schools and the elementary schools. But to be fair. I have some input But we're trying to base all of our decisions on the numbers that are coming out of schools and not make assumptions. Some schools have been impacted. Some have been less impacted. And i don't know that anybody knows why that's the case. No i don't think so either. And i think that this is such a fluid situation that it's got to be hard to try and make make decisions accurately and appropriately. It is and it's really hard to To do what you know. Everybody wants done. There's a there's a faction of of our society whether it be school district six the city or Our our nation than as larger group. That wants everybody messed up. And there's a faction that Says personal freedom. I don't want to wear a mask. And i don't want my child or a mess. So there's there's very very diverse opinions and folks coming out to voice those opinions and They absolutely have every right to do that. When you know how volatile the situation can be especially when you're talking about people's children. Yeah no question. there's a there is a group. Parents are much too much akin to my last point that that are really thankful that their children are mass. And there's a number of them that are quite unhappy. So you know dr pilsen. The school districts trying to make decisions based what's really happening our schools and trying to be fair to everybody and then there is a there is an online option available which don't know the numbers we have right now online school but to those that want to continue to get educated and don't want to wear a mask in the school so there are some options but obviously the cleanest way for this to go with buddy be back in brick and mortar schools without mass but the endemic..

It looks like one big snow pile and a lot of work ahead of You for that. I think this he said, this is your son's car on pills in Pilsen. Just officer Macro, totally totally buried. Greg Pratt of the Chicago Tribune is joining us now, Greg. I saw this and I thought, what a revealing interview the mayor Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who you covered and you cover City Hall. Do that very well for the Chicago Tribune gave This revealing interview to the New York Times where she, uh she made some pretty interesting news there. So how are you today you get Are you were working from home? She asked first. Yeah, you know, not not a lot of other choice with, uh Um Apocalypse going up. So are you normally in the office much? I don't really know how many folks of the tribunal going in and out of the office? No. Well, you know, technically, we don't have an office anymore because our corporate, um When Lord has alleged are our corporate owner is allegedly a deaf each of the landlord and so, uh, you know, they said, we've essentially vacated Prudential and so we don't really have a newsroom. We sort of had some space at, uh At the Freedom Center, supposedly, but I've been working remotely, Which means, you know, finding a lot of clever ways to meet people while also not getting Cove in. So it's a very glamorous life, but I bet Maybe we'll get a chance to talk a little more about that other issue talked about. I know you've been tweeting about new ownership and hoping that the Tribune and get some help there. But I do want to ask you about this interview that Mayor Lightfoot gave to the New York Times very in depth. It totally made news. At least to me. You cover her more closely. Maybe some of this with more With the things that you've heard her say before, but She basically made it. She said that she thinks that the Chicago teachers union would like to take over not only the Chicago public schools but taking over running the city. Government that made a bit of news today. That's a really It is news because she said it so directly. It is a little It's clearly what she thinks You can see it and how she addresses he to you. You can see it in how she is always hyper defensive and very aggressive about the union. It felt she thinks that Jesse and Stacy I have plans for for taking over the government and its not necessarily 100% new, you know, last year 2019 After the strike, she told me that she expect them to come after her..

"Shame is to me with extremely local news. Good morning. Shame, Miss, Let's start with what's going on in the far North side. Anybody getting their mail these days? Well, if you listen to the people of Rogers Park, the interest No or very slowly, this has been a bit of recurring problem for for years. We frequently get complaints about just packages. Don't show up. Mail doesn't show up. They've had several town hall meetings up in Rogers Park spills over into Edgewater is well, but this week there was a town hall with representative Jan Schakowsky and she really She said. She's really been hammered with complaints, particularly in the last couple of months or so, her office alone, you know, not exactly the place you'd think to complain about mail service. But I have gotten 150 complaints just in the last couple weeks, So it's a problem. She she You know, said she was taking it very seriously. And she's uh there's gonna send eight additional postal carriers to the Rogers Park office to try to get the mail out. But it Z. You know, it's it's obviously a very frustrating thing. You know, even something as simple or is, you know it's boring as getting your bills sent to you. You know, if you're like me and your payments they come in. Don't necessarily remember all of them. Unless you know, unless you've got a reminder you can. You know they can just go unpaid for awhile. But Christmas cards obviously packages everything that we're ordering online so we don't go out. So, um, hopefully help is on the way. The congresswoman I told folks earlier this week, but it remains this be seen because, like I said, we've We've been hearing about these problems in Rogers Park for a long time and also West Ridge in Edgewater for four years, right? Right, And it's you know, in past cases when they've had town halls of the postal Services has blamed it on basically just like a lack of staffing. Um a lot of turnover. It's the carriers haven't really gotten good at the state long enough to get good at the routes. But as we all saw in the last couple months there changes at the post office is well, that is really impacted service and I think that plays a lot into it now, so So we'll see. You know, Hopefully, things start to get better. We get more people hire there as well. As you know, some of hopefully, when the vaccine gets around, we get old. Don't get just a little bit more stability and the workers. They're taking the jobs and keeping the jabs right. What happened in Pilsen with this historic landmark district plan? Yes, I think we've talked about this one. Before there was a push to landmark are a huge stretch of Pilsen, Um around 18th Street and Blue Island Avenue about 900 buildings in a A mile and a half stretched over there really beautiful buildings There were all built given about 18 75 for about 1910. There's a push to landmark them to put restrictions on demolitions and what you could do to the facades. But it was a lot of pushback from from the neighbors. The landowners they were really while they don't want people coming in and demolishing off their history, they also don't want to give away the power to to make changes to their own land. So yesterday, the alderman said they heard the residents lounge. Clear. They killed this plan to landmark that that historic district it was. It was a unanimous vote within one of the City Council's committees, the zoning committee and, um, basically, it's really just gonna put this thing on the shelf for a long time. Pilsen is one of the you know the hottest neighborhoods in Chicago. Right now, there's a lot of people moving in. There's a lot of development and the elected officials There are really trying hard to both, Um, you know, tow. Both make it desirable place to live but also a place where the current residents don't have to move out because the prices go up so much. So, um, it's a mixed. It's definitely a mixed bag. They Not protecting these buildings might be a way to toe lock in some stability in the neighborhood, but but ultimately they're gonna have to find some other ways to sort of slow the gentrification process and Pilsen. And when you've got a hot happening neighborhood like that, you get controversies like that one and then back up North and Avondale. I've said this before. Every once in a while. We're hearing about somebody opening up food establishment and you know, all we're talking about our business is closing, so I love giving a little publicity's to somebody who's trying to start it up in this environment. Tell us about what's going on in Avondale. Right. I promised to bring you and your listeners some positive cookie news. Everyone so well. Here it is. Angela Diaz. She's the longtime pastry chef at the Trench, Herman and the Cherry Circle room restaurants as well. Some high end hotels tells us she is opening up a gluten free cookie store in the Avondale neighborhood. It's gonna be a 34 53 North Albany Avenue. She's holed hopes to open it begin at the beginning of next year. She's been making these cookies now for four years. She sells them wholesale. She sells them on our website. It's well cookie dough. Website. You can also get a mint and grocery stores all around the area. It's under the brand name your cookie, and she's gotten some rave reviews. I think one of the positive things she she has a gluten sensitivity, so she's been making these and figure it out. You know, you could really make these with Pretty much a noticeable to the to the person eating it, which is, which is the benefit, you know, you think I don't want to give up anything. I'm gonna indulge in a cookie, and I wanted it to be anything I wanted to be, You know, fully leaded. But she says no people don't even notice at some point. Then she tells him then they're thrilled to find out that Got there. Gluten free. So, um, she's excited. She's in Aurora native. She's gonna be trying to focus a little bit on sort of Mexican based pastries, but, uh We've got some pictures of the cookies on our website at Black from Chicago, and they are incredible. They're like this size cookies in some cases, so you're cooking. It's gonna be 34 53 North Albany Avenue next year. It's gonna be a walk up window for now, just this sort of student or roll with the times no point in making indoor dining at this point, but eventually she hopes to to make it larger to make this her production facility for her wholesale business. And, uh and is always way wish her the best because you can't have you can't have enough cookies. Companies in your neighborhood, particularly ones where the smell lost across the neighborhood like you were talking about earlier. We need our cookies now more than ever, and we will probably for the next year. Shame is to me, Maura Black Love Chicago. That order. Thanks, Seamus. You have a good day. Explode. Pilsen Y- Cheney did this thing that was awesome this week and you should you should recognize sir, you can just buy prompting some of those things. You can turn your culture upside down in a good way. So if it's negative if there's not recognition and it's not like a place at super transactional, you can dial into some of those intrinsic motivation. It's like teaching the Karma Jen father who never told their kids they'd love them. Hey Dad. Here's a list of literature about why you should say you love me at least once a week you know and so it's fine if they start off with some of that but he eventually that stuff becomes organic and natural and leadership doesn't mean you're in a management position, you can lead from the bottom up for sure. So let's just touch on briefly some of these different ways in which you can graciously accepted an award if you are in that position and it's something formerly being done in the organization, you actually find these Chris from. toastmasters and toastmasters is a great organization by the way just WanNa mention that they help people build their confidence in public speaking and it's it's good stuff check them out but they had some advice on how to graciously accepted award. I think the biggest thing first of all say thank you knew that that's that's an easy one. Make sure you share credit with the people who may have helped you along the way how to be from the heart you know show your personality a little bit Be Gracious. Acknowledges good work that's being. Done by your peers are you know even your competitors? Thank the people who selected you for it I'll be excited about it. You know this is kind of like when somebody tells you that they're offer you a job, right? They're they're kind of saying in business speak that they love you. You kind of need to say something back. That's that's appropriate and shows that you're excited about it so that you're grateful show that you're excited about it be modest, and if you actually are going to be in the opportunity, you know where you're going to formally. This in front of people practice practice what you're gonNA say right. It doesn't have to be elaborate but do run through it a couple times. Yeah. You don't be the person where they suck the Mike down onto the stage because he didn't have any rehearsal for your words but for those of you feel uncomfortable with that personal attention, you know the cat, the spotlight's Kinda shown you that's the perfect time to die then and share your credit and how can I be excited enthusiastic feel..

One of the deadliest heat waves in US history hit Chicago because it seemed like 25 years, Dr Murray No, it really doesn't like that. Yeah, it was on this day in 95. We got up to 106 degrees. It kind of caught everyone by surprise, Didn't it of the severity of this Well, I think that's one of the issues with these kinds of events just like Oh, bit it caught. I think the general public by surprise, and certainly the media, but people that pay attention to heat waves and and are changes in our weather patterns. I would argue it didn't catch them, but by the time it was over 739 people died and mostly old people and people of color correct. Yes, there was this proportionately old and disproportionately African Americans short with the poles to Mexican Americans of important book heat wave by Eric Kleinberg so eloquently differences, the structural differences that explain these changes and deaths. And Dr Murray What's changed in our city since then, as faras preparing for another heat wave? I know that the 90 degree weather supposed to be back with us by next weekend, but nothing like what we saw 25 years ago today, But are we Are we really ready for that again this time? No, I think we would have very similar challenges. Of course we have Ah, planned there with the heat. We had a plan, then, Yes, to implement the plan it also we have cooling centers. But we haven't really had that with the underlying issues. People are afraid to leave their homes and sit in the lobby somewhere. People are afraid to have their windows opens. We still have the problems of poverty and isolation and the sense of community that was one of the big differences in North Lawndale that we're really not enough places on the street that people like stores, restaurants, coffee shops that people could get some relief in where the Little Village Pilsen, there was much more of that, So it's not just any one thing. It's not just their conditions so that obviously would have helped the whole structure of a community of neighborhood and Do we really understand the weather? We've changed our agricultural system that makes these local heat waves more probable. We see more heat ways since 25 years ago, and we expect to see more of him still, so let's deal with the climate change and the underlying condition of our city. We unfortunately could fall victim to this again. I was reading what.

can walk into hi sue in any given night if you can get in and when you have the free viral right before we have had this problem but it once again it will be this where are you got people speaking all kinds of languages because it is one of those food tourism destinations right here in Chicago and chef is it an honor to have you every time we get to a chance to talk to you and I'm sorry that we're gonna have to humiliate you with this the list of ingredients that we're going to get to this to you but but you know what you're pretty good at figuring stuff out and V. a Vietnamese food television food is as you do you do it it for people there's great Vietnamese food in Chicago there's no question about it but this high end version of the food is something that is just be armed comparison because you do it the way that they actually do in Vietnam with all that French influence and everything yes you know I'm very excited to be on and not thanks for having me on but yet you need who is the most refined up cuisine and and for me it's just touching base back on like my roots in what my mom taught me and then using what I've learned in all the kitchens and all the years cooking in you know fine dining and an ingrate check ups and when I became my own chef it's just like going back into that mode of of using the technique but then thinking about all the recipes that my mom has taught me that passed down to my siblings and my sister is taught me a few recipes and then I just went and and and took it on my own and so high to its it's like my love note to Chicago about beating the yeah my is one of the great experiences you're gonna have eating anywhere and when you guys open back up and I know that we we talked to mmhm our producer talked about this a little bit earlier but you've been in contact with a bunch of of other industry leaders in the food in the in in the restaurant industry about what it's gonna look like on the other side here when we opened back up right I mean it's there's a lot of question about how that's going to cause a lot of restaurants you know especially ones that we don't Iman pausing you're kind of in that category you know this you don't have the money in the bank it's gonna be tough yes we we are you know we are that definition of mom and pop it's just Danielle my wife and I and we operated you know to operations next to each other that would take you in a cafe and then a third one was with kind now active hall and unfortunately all of them we we closed down fifty four the now open up for the whole entire fee to shut down and so right now we just been talking to industry leaders and colleagues and fortunately for us not pulling a few people you know in other countries due to our teen pop up in our relationship we we have got some data in in some information on how to reopen and what what it's gonna look like what the hospitality landscape is going to look like after all of this it's gonna take awhile and yeah and understanding downside being two to two different levels it's going to be very difficult because most mom and pop or or even a restaurant like our caliber we were never set up to do carry out alone so and you are doing that I'm assuming are you doing that no we know we're not we certainly get that yep the minute the the the city and then down I planned to shut it down earlier but it happened to be the same time frame when when the when our governor and mayor announced it yeah and so we decided to give all our food away gave it to the neighborhood and the and you know social media and influencers movie helped credit in in the in the news media help us to but it got sober well being that I do want to put us in our staff that were around to help volunteered in jeopardy of of of of little popping onto your noodle yes you're you're do you got that you already got the peanut noodles knowing what you were doing your restaurant anyway it's it's it's a Vietnam yeah and then you get Lord Bilimoria on the Business of Beer
"Now in the u._k. In particular you will struggle to find an indian restaurant saronto that a dozen serve cobra beer launched by lord karen bilimoria three decades ago the brand success story and is now exported to over a forty countries around the world however lord bilimoria entrepreneurial passan's being all without bumps along the way he joins me in the studio to talk talk about the lessons he's learned how the business of beer exchanging and the brand s- plans for the future but i he explains how the whole story actually begins dennis with bono sticks. That was my first business venture. Because i played polo for cambridge we beat oxford <hes> in the <hes> and i then organized and led the first <hes> indian tour for cambridge university's team and i came back with some sample poodle sticks and i started selling them and before i knew it i was in business and selling them to lily early wide to harrods to the queen's <hes> sadler's and we were in business and that was a precursor because my big idea when i was a student at cambridge was to bring out a beer from india india a beer that would satisfy both lager and ale drinkers alike because i i found i hated physi- english loggers and i loved english british ale but i found that the air was too bitter and too heavy and <hes> didn't accompany food at all older. It was very smooth when you're drinking zone and i found on the physi- loggers were just awful drink on their own and just did not go well with the food because they were bloating so that's been the idea evolved while i was a student at cambridge to come up with this bear that sits in between a logger nail refreshment for lager smoothens a financial combined they would appeal to all types of beer drinkers anywhere in the world have globally appealing taste aced and most importantly a beer that would accompany or food including indian food and curry so what were the first actual steps then in launching that business launching cobra for i was the lucky introduction to india's biggest independent brewery which again the biggest stroke of luck had the best brew master in india a young dynamic brewer from india who'd spent six years in the czech republic in prague had from prague university was a biochemist and knew all about brewing beer had worked one of the top czech beers pilsen during his internship he knew all about i knew nothing about bring beer but i had this idea and i sat in the laboratory with him in bangalore and conveyed this idea to with thirty samples of bottled title beer from england carefully selected saying this is what i like about this year. This is what i don't like about this beer trying to convey this extra smoother less gassy taste of cobra which led to very complex recipe which is what cobras and we've got this craft beer boom in in this country at the moment. We're covers is an ultimate craft beer. It's called malted barley rice rice maize wheat. It's double fermented sco three varieties of bavarian hops. It's a really delicate complex now. On the highest idea we should know more about beer back came the day when you were approaching this brew. No i knew what i wanted. I knew the tastes that i wanted as a drinker as a consumer and i saw that gap in the market and and sure enough when we brought out cobra it did demonstrate straight away that it went incredibly well with food we ninety-nine percent reorders from day one and my hi dream was to produce the finest ever in beer then to to make that a global beer brand and <hes> once you get those reorders in those early days it gives you the confidence to go go on extrapolate that into a global beer brand well. You lost in one thousand nine hundred nine and he didn't have much money for advertising partly due to your student debt. So what do you think think were the main two weeks. How did you manage to get your bottles in restaurants. Then i find that when you start and businesses and entrepreneurs and i think any entrepreneur would probably doubly identify with this you have to cross what school the credibility gap that nobody knows you. Nobody knows your brand. You have zero credibility. So so how do you convince people to supply to finance you to buy from you when you have zero credibility and i find that people will do those do things if you are passionate and have faith and belief in yourself and in your product and your brand and in your idea because that gives is people the confidence and the fates to trust you to give you a chance and i always believed i had something that was going to be different and that was going to be better and that was going to change the marketplace. How many respirators were trying to say no to you. Oh the the word you come across more than anything when you start is a very short word and it's a two letter word and and it's no would you like to buy my no. It's just a no and you have to make note a yes and you have to convert obstacles into opportunities and i could give you example after example of how we had to convert obstacles into opportunities for example we could only import the big double size six fifty bottles from from india because the brewery said you're probably going to fail and we only produce six fifty emma bottles even in india to this day that ninety percent bear sales in india are sold in a standard six fifty. I'm double size bottle and they said if you want more bottles it means ordering different modes change parts for our bottling line investment by us. If you're around in one year's time we'll give you a small bottles but first prove yourself so the big bottles and you go to the restaurants in the u._k. At that time they were i used to small bottles or draft beer now. We couldn't draft all the way from bangalore and the restaurants that what we're gonna do with these big bottles and you convert that obstacle into an opportunity and you say well. That is the way sold in idiots. You'll centric way of nydia and it's a double sized borough so when you're selling you're selling to c._o. Selling more beer and then you win. You serve indian food at the tables often. Your customers was we'll share dishes in the same way they can share this bottle and using a sharing concept you'll find you will sell more and more food and then what is more people at other tables. We'll see how what are they. Drinking looks like a bottle of wine knows auto bottom lines bottle outright and it spreads like wildfire and your weight is also leave the bottles on the table. It frees him up to do other the work so everyone wins your business. Your business grew exponentially during the first years but you'll be since journey didn't go oh all without bumps for example the year two thousand eight hundred. It's difficult for you wasn't it. I always say that <hes> <hes> success is a relative term and success is not a destination. It's a journey and most entrepreneurs will will say to you. It's a very difficult tough and challenging done journey with lots of ups and downs and i nearly lost my business three times and the last time was in two thousand nine <hes> during the financial crisis in the great recession when we nearly lost it. We came very close losing everything and each one of those times that i lost my business often. It was things out of the blue very few people in the world. Very few of the economists in the world predicted due to the financial crisis. There was less than a handful around the world who predicted it so when things come out of the blue it's how you deal with those crises and yes you can look back and one of my favorite things thanks good judgment comes from experience and experience comes from bad judgment so yes. I made mistakes looking back on it with probably had far too much debt. I i did not anticipate the financial crisis. I probably hide some of the wrong people but the things that got me through each of those crises was having a very strong brand. Cobra grew was having the support of my loyalty members who were excellent and my family my wife who stood by me through the ups and downs where i met one year after i started cobra and also the third thing was always doing things the right way with integrity so it's better to fail doing the right thing then to succeed doing the wrong thing. What do human points equity will the best definition of the word integrity and people will say doing the right thing acting honestly <hes> the best definition i ever ever heard was from the archbishop of canterbury ruin williams when he was archbishop canterbury who came to visit the zorostrian center and i'm patron of disaster and community here in the u._k. Given smallest communities in the world and i welcomed him as a patron and then he made his speech and he said lord bill morris has used the word integrity twice in his speech speech and he said the word integrity comes from the latin and greek words intiga integrum and he says is the restaurant parsi communities renowned for his integrity and the word integrity means wholeness. You cannot practice integrity. If as an individual you're fragmented in front of the light you can only practice integrity if your whole and complete and i've never forgotten that and <hes> we've always tried to in in british play with a straight bat and i've found that helped get me through the crises

"Credit? Oh my God. Oh my God. Melinda Smith is a student's mom, and she is well, she's outraged. Very inappropriate and not acceptable for a teacher whatsoever. I think for Thursday's to be reprimanded. I, I believe that something should be placed in her file boil. Get her up her file. Yeah. Say reprimanded. Oh, yes. She did very young, mom. Yeah. The school district itself. Says that the end the Rutherford principal Koi Pilsen said school officials have been notified of the situation. They're investigating it. They've spoke with a teacher. She has apologized but not publicly yet. But here's the thing this lady beat the clock. It's like she, she saved by the bell this, it's all over seal later by everybody's gonna forget about it. I think it's great. I you know what I, I have friends who are teachers for years. And they tell me stories that some of these kids, they do it. It's like some of these kids don't care. No, they don't. They don't want to be there. Unfortunately, unfortunately in, in school is not for everybody. I'm a firm believer in that there there needs to be alternatives. A lot of kids don't do well to classroom. They've do better one on one. I mean, there's going to be other ways to teach kids. And a lot of teachers are burned up by the end of the year. Apparently had enough so rating from UK, boy, or girl, do we know that the teach the student, it was, it was a male student avails female teacher. No names. Thank god. I feel this teacher hated. This kid all year. And this was her last hurrah. You're probably right you figured. I'll get away with it because it's the end of the year, I guess, basically, on the on the filled out almost nothing in his answers for stupid didn't care. So why should she can't understand why she'd be upset? Hey coming up next week. Got the more details of the eight spilling, champions eight eight of ridiculous. "Disciplined for this. Well, apparently mob notified the school's principal, Koi Pilsen, who says he was waiting to hear back from the school district before taking action now regardless of the outcome. He wants to make it clear that the unnamed teachers behavior is not Representative of the rest of the staff. Here's a quote all of the teachers at Rutherford high school are carrying loving teachers, I think this teacher is carrying in loving, as well. That sounds because you're trying to connect with the kid. Yeah. How's that not caring? I mean yeah. Not caring what have been not even asking given the kid be just because I don't want to put up with them anymore. His subpar, we'll all the principal goes on to say we're also you mean so we make mistakes. And when we make mistakes. Aches, which to correct those mistakes and move forward. Is this mom overreacting? It sounds like the argument is there that we need to hear from some mom, would you be upset? If your kid brought home a paper with that kind of comment on it. I saw some pictures over the weekend on Austin, red. It's mom's upset about the sign that's on the front door of styles middle school. Maybe it's a middle school and elementary school. This is in the Leander ISD. There's a couple of moms were upset about the sign that was on the front door. You're now an ex student leave. Don't come back. Those kind of signs, why would you want to come back? Apparently, this is what mom was just a pretty upset about it. It's kind of silly really upset about that people find a lot of things to be upset about not sure I'd be upset with this WT f thing now. And in fact, the my mother, I know growing up. She would've she would've looked at sided with the teacher immediately, and we'll tell me then what issue looking at here. What, what prompted her to write that obviously, you did something or didn't do something WTI? Yeah. I, I, I like I said, I think the argument is there that you could make that the mother is being a little over a little bit a little bit. Yes. Listen up. A man posing to be a bento, ole roar campaign worker is accused of breaking into a south Austin home and stealing valuables and popsicle sweet tooth. It did also police say twenty eight year old James Bradford, given he was wearing a beco t-shirt when he was confronted yesterday, by the homeowners who called the cops Gibson is charged with second degree burglary of of residence. He was pretending to be a campaign worker to get into the house. I got a bet though shirt. I worked for his campaign can I have a popsicle, what a dummy man? I saw, you know, those stickers, people are still got their bed to- stickers on their on their Prius is around town saw one yesterday. There was written in the same style as the toaster, Beto, you know, beat in the black and white image. Oh. This, this was spelled. TB TB or to be continued something like that. And it was in that meeting. We're not giving up on Benjamin. Bet the nice thing, we'll see if he's going to be back. In fact, I have seen people have those pictures they've crossed out Senate, and they've written their own for president, though. We're already getting dirty silly, isn't it? Hey, we got an update this morning on the Butler pitch. And putt, golf course as you know, the, the folks that have been managing that facility for a long time. Couple of decades sensors, they failed to fill out the paperwork to continue operating it. Well, now there's a new company taken over which is angered a few folks, I don't know what's going to change there at the Butler part pitch and putt. But over the past year, the city only made about eighty thousand dollars off of that piece of property, right? Some prime real estate, so they got a new company coming in to possibly make even more money. Kansas have run that place for about seventy years, and it sounds to me like seventy years like a clerical error at missing. Forgetting a signature on a form. Yeah. And bothered him out the door for new bidders. And people are saying, well, listen, you can't muscle at this longtime company just because of a clerical error. I'm not sure I'm not sure they got muscle. I mean yeah. You didn't fill out the paperwork. Seven forty five. We'll tell you more about that straight ahead. Seven forty five. Let's take a look at Austin's on time traffic. Here's Patrick got a new crash reported southbound one eighty three just before balm road. Stop and go traffic backed up to fifty first street in delay there about ten minutes to have a couple of crashes on one eighty three that.
