In a statement Weinstein's lawyer said, quote, we are grateful that chief judge de fiore acknowledged the substantial legal issues in this case, and we are hopeful that the entire court will find that mister Weinstein did not receive a fair trial and reverse his conviction. It's possible that Weinstein's conviction could be upheld, or he could be granted a new trial. Supporters of solar power in Georgia are praising the recent passage of the inflation reduction act, Molly Samuel reports last week's federal climate and health bill includes tax incentives for solar manufacturing. A measure that Georgia's U.S. senator John ossoff introduced is included in the big federal budget bill. It incentivizes companies to manufacture more components in the U.S. for solar panels. This is going to boost our domestic manufacturing of solar products and solar technology. Ossoff joined officials from Georgia solar industry in Piedmont park this week to celebrate the bill passing and the expected growth for the industry here. This is a national security issue. This is about American energy independence. And this is about good paying American jobs. That could include jobs at the largest solar panel plant in the western hemisphere. Q cells in Dalton. "Jim burris. Listen a week ago, music midtown was celebrating the big names confirmed for this year's iconic music fest at Piedmont park. Then this morning, a one 80. With no explanation and leaving a lot of confused fans, officials tweeted that music midtown is off, chalking it up to, quote, circumstances beyond our control. Atlanta journalist George Cheney was the first to report it has to do with George's gun laws and the festival's inability to keep guns out. Mara Davis is a talent Booker and beloved former radio host in Atlanta's now defunct Dave FM, WAB fans will likely remember Mira's music mix, as well. When we spoke earlier, she talked about how the festival came to be and what the laws means for Atlanta. Well, the appeal early on with music midtown is there was a genre for everybody. As in, they checked so many boxes, the lineups were so diverse. I mean, in 1999, you had outcast. It's just a part of the community right now and Peter Frampton. For my eyes and they're moving on the same level. And I think that's what makes music midtown so unique that you got such a great variety. This festival has grown over the years into something that people really travel to come to. What does it mean in terms of the logistics of having to cancel something like this that imagine as a year round type of thing to put on? For so many reasons it is a local, even though it's national, it's a local festival and I think people come in, you know, obviously because they want to see their favorite bands and artists and it's somewhat of an affordable price. I know it's for some people they're very first concert. And so I think that has a big effect on some of the younger audience that they were really excited for my chemical romance or future and now they're not. What kind of blight is this to the overall music scene in the area? I think it's just a big question as to what's next with music festivals. I think as we learn more information and what prompted this, I think there are a lot of larger outdoor music festivals and what it means for them and that means a sweet water four 20, shaking niche, shaky boots, one music fast. So I think that's something to definitely keep our eye on. Do you think this is the death nail for music midtown? Do you think it can come back as a reformed or in a different venue? I think as we know in Georgia and in Atlanta, anything is possible. I think whatever is happening in Atlanta or Georgia day is something different in ten minutes. As we all know. So it's just so hard to say because this is just kind of came out of nowhere. How bummed are you about it? I'm bummed that it is an Atlanta tradition of music. We're so many people came together for this. Look, I remember broadcasting live at music midtown so many years. I have such strong memories of music midtown. I saw Destiny's Child with Beyoncé in 1999 there. I mean, this is just like, you know, I'm sorry, it was 1998 because I looked it up. I was thinking of my music midtown memories. And I remember seeing Destiny's Child, they were all in camouflage, a coordinating outfit. They were on a really small stage. This was when it was at the now Federal Reserve building, and it was like, wow. This group is really going to be something. Now, we all know what happens over the next 20. Years. But music midtown was really a place where the booking was so sharp. They were able to book these artists maybe before they became stadium level. Music midtown really set the tone for big artists. "I talked last week about geo tracking, which is one of the key themes and technologies. That is discussed and deployed in the movie 2000 mules. And in the movie, we talk about the power of geo tracking, the first of all, how it is commonly used in law enforcement. It's used by intelligence, agencies, we all have some experience with it because you travel somewhere, you land, you get a notification from the weather channel about the weather, not where you live, but where you just arrived. And obviously that's because they're tracking your phone. That's how they know where you are. And I mean, the only other option would be someone's following you, which is obviously not the case. Now, to validate geo tracking, truth of vote, the election intelligence organization that we've worked in close partnership with. They are the research foundation for this movie. They had a very, well, kind of a brilliant idea. And that was, and they were having this idea in part because they had presented their findings to the GBI, the GBI is the Georgia bureau of investigation. It's kind of the Georgia version of the FBI. And the GBI was a little bit, they seemed a little bit at sea like, you know, what do we do with this? I mean, not they don't know about the technology, but it is obviously being applied in a new way. And so truth of what thought, well, you know what? Any law enforcement agency uses this kind of technology to solve crimes. What about if we pick a couple of high profile crimes that could have occurred in Atlanta at the very period that we were looking at this geo tracking data? In other words, sometimes between sometime in the weeks and months leading up to the election. That's the body of data we have. What if there were some high profile murders that occurred in the area that we have covered that we have data for? Can we help to solve those murders? I mean, this is an audacious idea because think about it. You have private group doing this. Now we have one case. The case of a young black girl, her name is Sakura Turner, and she was shot in the backing out of a parking lot of a Wendy's. This was during a kind of BLM race riot. And we show in the movie, Greg Phillips is talking about this and he talks about how when you look at the location of the van, the little girl was shot in a van and when you look at the direction and trajectory of the bullet and obviously you look at the time, there are only a handful of cell phone devices that could have, well, that are likely to be the shooter. And remember, the true the vote has those cell phone IDs. Now they don't have the names of those guys, but law enforcement can get the names of those guys like that. How do they do it? Well, they go get a warrant. And then they go to the provider, the cell phone provider and go, who are these guys? And they get their names, and there you go. Those are your 5 suspects. So true to vote then turns this information into the GBI. And guess what? Shortly thereafter, do arrests

They got away and we don't know When or how old they will be apprehended. And there's a good argument to be made. I would say knoll that anything that brings more awareness to this is helpful. More people are alert. More people are thinking twice about their personal safety. But also i don't know man i'm on. I'm concerned about this. Because i wonder. So back in November, December, we prioritize getting back together for an in person peach tree, but we did not want to bring us back in Mass, as is the tradition of teacher of having tens of thousands of people standing shoulder to shoulder So we said, Hey, the days of the work week work. With us this year. We have a Saturday and Sunday for July 3rd and July 4th. So let's do it over two days. So that's what we're gonna do We have about, uh, called almost 13,000 people on the third on Saturday and about 18,000 people. Out there on Sunday before so almost equally divided What about one of the reasons Obviously, you're splitting the field This year is is covid precautions. I'm assuming as much as anything. Well, what sort of precautions on race day? Would you guys be taking mask detection testing any of that? So we are taking significant steps on race day to keep everyone safe. And that is our gold this year to be known as the world's safest 10-K, not the world's largest 10 J. So we are screening everyone before they come to the start line. So as people have picked up their race bibs that are Expo. If they show proof of vaccination, they go in one direction. If they choose not to show proof of vaccination. They go in a different direction. They are equally welcome. But we screen them for Kobe, and we're going to do the same thing on race more. Do I see you might even have some canine covid detection dogs. Yeah. So this is this is a great riddle that we have to solve. How do you screen thousands of people in a short period of time?
