"Sure. So Your point then as is that most of the time in terms of the surviving evidence in terms of the surviving horoscopes, it seems like they're just calculating planetary placements by sign and using whole sign houses and probably Holstein aspects but with texts like this at least from relatively early on there is at least an ideal that perhaps if you could calculate things by decree, that would be a useful additional piece of information to factor into the interpretation. Yeah So this is also important the subject to see what what, what is therion what is practice because there's we can see some discrepancies between theory and practice. So theory's always more sophisticated far more sophisticated than. Actual real life practice seems to be Because So there are the resist of of different techniques, India radical tax. But what we see in actual case, scopes while there are not too many different techniques. used. But I guess that that's why we need to discover both the theoretical side end the the practical side because may be the reason why they didn't use some things in practice was simply that they didn't have the time for these calculations, for example, but that was an idea that they would like to reach that level. Sure. Yeah. That makes sense and that's a whole thing we could get into it will save that for another discussion or another episode, the And I and I did some of that in my episode on the origins of the House division debate last year so I can link to that. At some point as well. So the other let's see other definitions. Once once they outlined the basic aspect definition, one of the other definitions I wanted to look at. where lecture translation was on what you translate as the concept of domination. And I liked that you used that as a translation convention and that is another point. It's just you're helping to establish translation conventions here for your translations and in some instances you're retaining and you're using translation conventions that had been used or or introduced by others and and other instances you're going against that or you're coming up with your own translation conventions in order to more correctly convey the sense of the taxed. Yeah but won't. Can Be always debated. So So translation conventions are are questions never be settled ones foot to due to the contentment of every everybody. So a lot of people say. They are disturbed by by Words like Helius or Selena or the translation literal translations of the the names of the signs or The names of the aspects. For example, they would prefer to see the dwyer now northern Terms but. This is one thing and the other thing is that there can be lots of synonyms that the translator can use in. DIFF-. So. I always open to any sort of suggestion. So I can I can I can translations if there is something that does someone can convince me to to change this this term do something else. But I tried to to to follow the footsteps of the previous set translate translator stuff from the how mystic tax but sometimes I fat I needed to to change the term because side. So data day convey did right meaning in this case. So for example, this domination while actually the original Greek, a term for this is the APODACA Tei which has something to do with with the being. In the Yeah well. Owned tensing. Upon the ten th because FBI just means like a pawn duggan means means ten or Tonton Dia. Yeah. That's it. So it's a it's a it's something that can be expressed in English and in a in a natural way to it's was weird and then schmitter wanted to to to use the expression decimation. Data decimation, in English. Languages are I'm also in Latin means something very different. So it means like a sort of punishment the temporary beverage Tanta soldiers is. Clear Kia of Europe, I lost the battle or teacher they simply. Has Sitting negative or like extreme connotations. Yeah. Extreme connotations that are not used in this in this case. So this this in this case, this is just the. This is just being in the tense sign in from from from the from. US Star. Yeah. of overcoming actually. Right, and then the planet that's in the tenth sign relative to another planet having a special influence or being exert a very powerful influence of another planet. So that's why I argued for domination as the translation of this, and later saw that Holden had translated that way as well. So those happy to see you using that here Let's let's read the definition really quickly in the we can keep discussing it. So in the poor free version, it says the star being in the tenth sign said to dominate and overcome the. Star being in the fourth sign for example, the star that happens to be in the balance dominates the star being in the goat horned one and the star being in the goat horned one also dominates the star being the Ram. So in other words, in the example, it saying that a planet in Libra is is dominating or is in the ten th relative to plan it in capricorn versus a planet and Capricorn is in the tenth or dominating a planet that is in areas because it's in the tenth sign relative to. Yes Exactly yeah. Okay. So this is tied into the the notion of overcoming which actually the next definition after this, but it's just a sign based aspect of planet that is ten signs for another plan, and if it's a malefic planet that's in that position than it's usually interpreted as being. Very negative condition whereas if it's a Ben Affleck that's in the tenth signed relative to another planet. It's usually interpreted as being a very positive condition in authors like videos, Fallon's, for example, where he uses this sometimes or versions of this in his chart example. Unjust, that against this on overcoming guns on domination is a very early concept because there are some tax Attributed to to Dorothea centennial on. For example, them and Phoenix Mountain is also has these descriptions. About a planetary configurations and in the intersection hab-habitats run. There are. Detailed descriptions. So what happens if if the planet a is dominating and what happens it planet B is dominating so having. A a square aspect of between. I'd say Mercury and Mars is not the same if they changed place. And if The for we look at these definitions, we can see the Derek Cohen sister of these definitions on discordant sister could while have been neck Habsburg seaways..

"Is here to share is big you with a poll question what you'll find at key T. A. R. dot com and get us I gotta tell ya I do you brought you bring up something in your poll question that I hadn't really even thought about it has to do with this whole cheating scandal but delivery okay Phoenix mountain point coach Justin Hager leaked game plans to opposing coaches for the past three years so I give a you know listeners four choices I feel a horrified then a an adult would sell out kids and put them at risk for injury we expect that it that coaches from opposing schools who received the info said nothing. D. this is something the New England Patriots would do all content of course and D. all of the above that's what the price you well it yeah I don't even think about this idea that could be putting his kids at risk for injury because you know I'm thinking that he's robbing them of all the great things that you learn in football and and he's robin the in the other coaches are robbing their kids of the feeling like they actually won these championship games but I I the injury thing I that that that's a new aspect I mean father if the defense knows the play and knows what the the running back is going to get the ball yeah you've got eleven guys going against one player and that's not fair and it's dangerous yes it is and so we could put kids at risk certainly all right however living with a patriots fan there's no way I can even vote for all of the above not not I might feel like it are him take take the Gatos big queue of the the day poll question KTAR dot com and by the way all of the ball all the above is leading the voting right now here's detour.

"Cold air. well we got a scandal right here in Arizona a high school scandal a sports scandal if you will and you know I just kind of caught wind of this late yesterday. and it seems that Tom. it seems that there is a coach his name is Justin Hager Phoenix mountain point coach. and he was an assistant coach from what I understand he leaked game plans to opposing coaches for at least two years whoa he sent them images of plays. for at least two years so I mean think about it for a second your kid is playing a sport right. your kid goes out there and gets totally dominated. and your skew no maybe this was a year or two ago and you kind of scratching your head like some kind of stuck there maybe well it seems that this assisting coach was sending other teams their plays who was plain who wasn't going to play like in active players that kind of stuff so say you shouldn't well they they don't need right now I mean listen the Arizona Cardinals are gonna play the Carolina Panthers okay this Sunday it be like the Panthers coach you know sending Ron Rivera yeah it's sending cliff Kingsbury all the place and here's who's gonna plane here's who's on the I. R. cliff Kingsbury uses it. and they just squash Carolina well see that's interesting too did that mountain point get squashed all those years do they they go like in six oh one eight there were more there were definitely times when they got there they got okay locks clean I mean I'm gonna give you a couple times because in a second we'll talk about. why would someone sabotage their own team. okay so February twenty seven twenty eighteen this coach at Phoenix mountain point shared information about the strategy for the state championship game with pinnacle head varsity basketball coach Charlie wild and mount point loss to pinnacle by sixteen the next day. let's see November fifth twenty eighteen play images were sent to the Chandler high school head football coach Sean guano and the assistant coach and mount point loss to Chandler forty nine twenty one in the championship quarterfinal sounds like this coach for mount point was waiting until his team was in you know we're in the playoffs or was was near the champion okay and he sent all this and only would send it well I mean that's at least two that I that I have come up well the district is somebody found hundreds of these emails and what's interesting is a happen for two years right B. R. how many coaches knew we didn't say anything how many coaches use this information verses didn't use the information. and then why would this guy do it okay what it what do you think he did it why would he sabotaged his own school the it's gonna be sour grapes or he's just to be a jerk well the only thing that I can think of is why would you go to that extreme to sabotage something that you're involved with like a company or a sports team or whatever you either want to position that they didn't give you or you have got it out for the head guy in charge or somebody on that team that you hate so much you are willing to do the unthinkable you are willing to turn turn cold Benedict Arnold whatever whatever you and you know all the names who you know any spy in history you go against a country commit treason against your own team because you either think you're a better coach or maybe this guy you just don't like and you want to be gone but they're not gonna fire what I hate about the story most is this is high school and kids trust their coaches. I mean when I was in high school and I played we trust our coaches. and that that's happened you know that's happening we kids now you trust their coaches and this guy just sold them out and you've got a feel for these kids because these kids today now are finding out what did they did they really miss out on championships and all that because of the games that's not my point I mean my point really is if you're a kid and you trust your coach and you go out there and you want to go to war you wanna play for your coach and then today you find out what your coach did it's heartbreaking for a kid yeah it really is because Austin an adult and needed told screwed you but I guess what I'm saying is it can can somebody bring a lawsuit against this guy saying there's a direct link between us losing a championship for us losing whatever I don't know how to talk I know the kids feel I'm just talking about how the kids well that's what I'm saying if I'm a kid and I'm like Hey mom and dad this happened so you're talking with heroin yeah can the parent say Hey look you cost might get a scholarship you cost him you know a future in the you know in the college let you know whatever I don't know I don't know how you punish this guy now he's resigned he says he's going to take another opportunity which by the way I don't believe but I mean this guy could go coach somewhere else maybe out of state right now you can is there a is there a national like list that you blacklist this guy I yeah right word of mouth which is probably. well again there's so many coaches in so many districts I wonder if this guy's going to resurface in some other state may be doing the same I don't know I don't get it you know just as bad as this guy the coaches who took the information and actually used and then used it now because I think you could really injury kit let me give an example let's say that this coach Justin Hager okay Phoenix mountain point right and he leaks the game plan which we've seen over these hundreds of emails you leave the game plan to sign some other team we're not the name of just another team right that team are the head coach gets the information. and then one way or another feeds it to his kids his players the players now on the field know exactly what their opponent is going to do it so let's say you've got a running back and you hear the quarterback announced the put you know the play for twenty five yeah then the defense knows what's coming right because everything's been leaked right they know or run is coming so you've got all those big office a defensive lineman aware there's gonna going trying hit the kid is going to get the ball the nose get the ball you know who's going to get the ball you're a target that it's easier to target yeah and I just I can't imagine that this coach I know we did it because it's pretty obvious but I don't know what goes through that guy's mine because he's putting kids it at at harm for it for real injuries. if you know what the other team is going to do. and apparently a lot of the stories a lot of the kids from Phoenix mountain point would go back to the bench and just say coach they know every play that'll get it we know what we're doing we can we just went three and out this was a disaster running they knew it then they went back on the field coach we went three and out it was a disaster they know what we're doing what's going on and there's gonna be a lot of frustration a lot of bitterness I'm sure I I don't know what you can do as far as a punishment for this guy okay resigned he left the city has another opportunity but there's there's gotta be some thing and I've heard this before from other parents that have kids in in these days it's really kind of the wild wild west you can't stop a guy from moving out of state doing the same thing you can't stop them unless there is a criminal act is there a criminal act here I don't care what I don't know if there's anything illegal right so far I have not heard anything I mean but what a bag you screwed kids over you put in harm's way you basically change the outcome of these games Bruce and Pamela today had the father of three boys who went to mountain point and played on the football team David Hino hoser let's listen what he had to say about will parents sued in hearing some of the parents speak there sounds like that could happen it's definitely on the table I think their parents in general because you know we we put our voice through a lot it expressly being at mount point nationally ranked team they got to go through trainings and different sessions and we're constantly getting them with you know supplement everything that it takes. them for this that the football games and to to have that happen is is just it's mind blowing and and I think that parents are still trying to process it they're trying to make sense of why but at the same time they're upset with the coaches that didn't say anything yeah I think the coaches who took the information they're a lot there a lot of names in this report they should all be fired you know you take the information and you use it right his high school football I know you can really use that and there are some coaches that said I'm not I'm not even looking at this they just deleted a door into the email and said now we're gonna go out and you know there I go I'm sorry it took two years though to figure this out or something or a guy from what Vegas a coach from Vegas contacted somebody at the school district and say look this is what I have and they did an investigation two years crazy crazy it is and and you know what I mean I'm very competitive I like to win at everything you know I I I'm always been that way that way losing stinks okay but a loss. is is one thing a loss when you find out your own coach. sabotage right is a totally different right different it's one thing to steal steal signs in the moment or figure out the play in the moment that's another when you game plan knowing what the place that's awful all right we'll talk a little bit more about this later but coming up next what is it okay to cheer the villains in politics next..

"Those who have already contributed. Once again, you can join our fan club patriot dot com slash hilarious. Humanitarian pod. You can also check that out in the link in our bio on Instagram hilarious humanitarian spot. So before we jump into our topic today, though, we wanted to touch on some interesting, pop culture, topics for the week giant swarms of adorable lady bugs. And when hiking rescues, go wrong. All right. So apparently, there was a swarm of ladybugs that were so Jain Ormuz in southern California that the national weather service radar picked it up over San Bernardino county in California. The actually like if you go on. Online on the internet search like the giant ladybugs horrible. That. Yeah. And it's like a picture, literally looks like a storm like there was like, oh, massive. Thing in the sky or whatever that got picked up by the radar. So it's called a lady bug bloom. They were flying about a mile above the ground in cloud was ten miles. Why because they're so little cute as high member seen the cutest. Way, better than locust. This way, better than locus. Could you imagine that for you knew they were ladybugs, if you just saw giants swarm of something flying above you'd be like, okay, the second coming hiring totally? The wild has begun. God where you're just like there's something on the radar, that's ten miles wide. I'd be like it's a UFO finally aliens are coming. We're gonna die. That's crazy. So it was an eminent. It was in San Bernardino mountains, and it's interesting 'cause we were up in big bear, which is in San Bernardino. And this is like two weeks ago or a week ago, and we are a laundromat, and there was this woman who was staring at my kid, and I was like, okay winner stare at her, she's cute, but then she kind of lunged at my kid and I was like, oh my God. What is happening? But she thought there was a bug on my daughter's shoulder as it turns out, it was like to lady bugs. So it's funny 'cause they're willing, ladybugs everywhere we are, basically. Basically by the swarm just do. No. And a mile up to me. I'd here's me. I don't know how high can bugs go, I never thought that high. I mean birds maybe but bugs. Yeah, I lied bugs around fucking way that is. Like a mile isn't like three thousand something I thought it was like twenty five hundred feet. One here, meth thirty two hundred I'm gonna get closer than thirty two hundred. Okay. Wins. Whoever wins the other one gets to ask when ask any question or do something silly, Aaron loves doing shutting I love bets, and there's always like, and she always wins. So she always get shit, and she's like she can get people to do embarrassing. I'm going with twenty five hundred feet for other hundred. All right. Let's see, like there's someone out there listening. That's like you guys are idiots. We'll now I don't wanna win because I don't want the pressure of having to come up with questions all come up with something right? So you're twenty five hundred I am. She is your your twenty possessive and then you're thirty two hundred. Okay. And I am and the bet. What's the bet? I don't even know Feted about it. twenty bucks. What, what is it? What are they betting the bed is closer to the truth? The better to right. Gets to have or. Okay. So how many feeder in a mild, I say, twenty five hundred she says thirty two hundred so who's wedding? Well, there's nothing on the tables. We'll just play. Okay. Okay. I really liked to be on the table. It is actually five thousand two hundred eighty feet. So I was bullshit. I, I know. And you like when you said, I'm twenty five hundred I want to look at you. Like, don't, don't take that one to look, pick wit. I don't like this game. I win. We're both were really far but you don't even know what you want. She was twice. Being right this time next time, I'll be prepared. Lord is no longer. Humble Carlin I played a game? And I made him go is strong. I made him put something on target and sing into a live. And he was like he looked like the biggest pervert because he put some kids hat on her some hat on the kids section. Yeah. And the phone down. Larry is too has. He's like seven hundred feet tall. He's six five and he's like twinkle took a little star some song, like some like. With singing into a phone looking very awkward. I'd be like I wanna give you guys a little bit of a visual errands, like barely five feet tall, and Carl her boyfriend is like six five almost six six. Yeah. It is a very interesting. Any, he's a like he's not too big. He's not like he's not like a thin. He's not cake dog. No. He's no Andre the giant. Yeah. And it's so funny because like we prefer to hug like sitting down 'cause if he gives me a hug, I literally my nose is about an inch or two above his belly button. Oh my and I looked at him. And I said, I feel like I should throw you back. So the tall tall eighty have you, he's like they don't care. It's fine. I'm like, no really you're out it. It is. We do care. Okay. Let me tell you something. We do care. Do you guys like role playing like your little girl or some not yet? I need some more starting with him. He probably like, okay, let's do something cute. No. Well, your mouth or creepy, I can only speak for myself, but when I was dating, I'm five nine and I would be so pissed every time I saw a towel dude with, and it was always like it was always a toll dude with a five foot two. Yeah. Little girl or woman. Everytime. Dna looks at you to. She gets enraged totally and I'm like, I'm just raging. I've been told an ambush just wasted on your shortness, multiple times in. I did online dating. I had at least two guys tell me I'm sorry to short really. Yeah. They were like, hey, and they were usually six three six four and I was like, okay and so I was like, well, you know, all right. I think it's fair for woman wants to talk. I talk doesn't want all my little didn't even know that, that when Carl I was like, oh, ship. How's your one tall MO fo? And he was like I love it. You just said, Mojo. I know. Two thousand five next they'll say, like, oh my God. Back to go back. I was really stoked when I met, my husband, he was six one. I'm like, all right. Cool. I just like when I wear heels, I'm six one literally how big bigger your heels. Well, they know not five inches, but they'd be like at least three inches. So there's three inches. I'm six feet. Yeah. Okay. So. All right. I dunno platforms could literally be four inches totally. And then I'm six one. And I told her I don't wear heels. Literally, the best you're gonna get a home. And he was like I don't care. I was like, oh, God when I would date it was hard for me to find because they're all just a like, yeah. All the tall guys were with short people. So I would meet dudes that were like five ten and I'm like, all right. I'm five nine. So I'm gonna wear flats, and have bad posture. And And then then I I was was like. like. Back. Sterling screw this. I don't care. So I did it a few guys that were shorter than me. And they didn't care which was also hot. Yes. Like some get over the a lot of people aren't aren't into that. I don't care. No. And I would date some guys that we're really close five five still at four inches above me. Yeah. And people like these kinda short and I'm like he's tall me. I should take one for the team. I should take a short. He says that like he's kinda short. You're like young by fee. Everybody's taller great. He's not fucking you. Oh, it's nice. I could kiss them and I have to tippy toes. And now I'm like, vic- step some here neck, probably hurt. He he's more. He makes it work more than I do. I dislike tilt une- like Benz, and yeah. You're trying to kick us good. Good. This standing up. Yeah. We'll go on bended knee. But every time but we should get Erin some stilettos. Oh my it'd be five seven. That'd be funny, and I'm definitely like a little bit of a koala. So I'm like all over him. So if we like to down, I'm like on. He's like you're just like prefers sitting sitting laying is definitely really nice sitting couch, that would be a dating sitting couch. Yeah. Is he walked in on kissing last night? Oh, she was like she really get a room. And I'm like I pay for this house. This is my room. And she was like, mom, mom. And then she was like, okay, she knew that I was like, not going to bend. And she looked at Karl. She was like you should be ashamed. Come on Carl, and he is like, but look her lips so show pretty and he's my God. If I were a kid. I'd be like let me excuse myself throw up on the dog. Yeah. And she pretty much talked him into making her milkshake. That's how she got. She was like, well. Milkshake right now. And he's like, okay. Okay. All right, next, we digress. Oh my God. No so excited. Okay. So this next story is seriously insane. It's probably still viral when this airs because it's this is oh, God. It's so sad. And so. You feel awful laughing, but yeah, we're gonna make Aaron watch it. But all right. So there was a seventy four year old woman hiker, who was injured needed to be airlifted from the spot. I'm already getting California, Arizona. Yeah. Yeah. Weird stuff on Phoenix mountain. They put her on a stretcher to be hoisted up into the helicopter. But the line that usually secures the stretcher was like not attached, and the lift turned the stretcher into a fast spinning roller coaster of a nightmare. If it you have to see this video Aaron has never seen it. So what we did was. We purposely did not let her watch it until right now. You're gonna go react. We built it up a little bit. Hopefully, she's the same natural reaction. I needed why. So seventy it says here, seventy four seventy four year old woman. Okay. Okay, here. She actually getting sit up. There we go. She strapped in the house. Again in a sleeping bag. She's close to getting in there, and it's swinging a little bit, which makes. Oh, oh. Finning pots a helicopter Keller. He kept not pot. Oh, and she's not stopping and they know. Slows down. She's. Her. It's a head coach. Oh, gee. Oh my God. It doesn't stop. It keeps dear Jesus. Oh my gosh. She signed his wedding. Oh my goodness. "AM six forty. It's Conway show. Mark Thompson's here. Really interesting Email. We just got comes from a guy named Ralph. Right. I have something for Conway, if he's interested and always a big race track. Fam-. I used to work for Hollywood park racetrack as a subcontractor, and they took out a Bank of payphones from the thirties, the type you'd see old old movies where the bookies would run to and place their beds. I have one of them it's minus the rotary payphone, but everything else is still there. If you'd like to have a piece of racetrack history gladly give it to him. Wow. Wow. That's so cool. That's pretty cool. It's a it's interesting. What it is. It's a phone booth. It's a. Yeah. Payphone booth. Is it just the one or is it like the whole Bank of them that it was? It's one of those standup boost ahead kind of, like, I think I could talk my wife into having one one pay phone booth from the track in a house. I don't think I'd talk her into like eighteen. Yeah. That would be. That'd be rough. You had to reconfigure the house a little. Yeah. You know what I remember? I remember Hollywood park and Santa Anita, they both did this. But back in the in the sixties and seventies and eighties before cell phones. They would put a padlock on the phone on the phones. Right before race before race one and not take that lock off until after the nine threes. So you couldn't phone bet in your. It's used to be the same rule or similar rule in Las Vegas sports books. You weren't allowed to bring a cell phone in the sports book. Oh, really? Yeah. That's now it's different because. So excuse me, so much more stuff is on your phone apps and stuff. But you're allowed to use his phone in the sports. I didn't know that. Yeah. Because they don't want you phoning in right? Yes. I got this for you. Get the raptors minus three. But you know whatever their. Yeah. Yeah. Because you could get you could buy both ways if casino if there's a point difference plus you're becoming at that point, you could be a bookie. Charring yet. Right. You're just giving the currently right? No, no. That's our business. We're the bookies here, pal. Yeah. But a lot of times, you know, these guys do doing off track betting they would you know, they would call if they were taking too much action on one horse, they'd call their, their point guy at the track and say, hey, thousand dollars on the four horse and the fifth race because we're taking too much actually on the source. We can't afford, if it wins and they'd lay some of it off on the track. And so the track didn't like them doing it because they're stealing your business. Sure. So show here back to the phone booth for a second. No one is, is. So here's the thing about I. You know, Montes, right. Isn't Montes right here in Burbank? On. No, not Montes. I'm thinking, but up the street here, steakhouse. It's on the the. Smoke outs. Thank you, sir. I don't wanna say money's the Smokehouse used to have foam votes in. Yes. And, and then they got rid of them or they only kept they kept one or two or wouldn't. Yeah. Wouldn't exactly. And I thought, well, if they ever get rid of that, that would really be a great thing to have at the house, and they got rid of it, and I just didn't know about it. So a wooden phone booth to me would be like the coolest thing ever. Oh, yeah. Like an old English old English street phone yet. But you know what I feel like not to Papu that Papu? Yeah. Pooh-poohed. But I feel like more people have those and replicas and things like that. Right. And would have what this guy's offering you. Hey bellio. Let's get this guy on the line and talk to if it's eighteen phone booths. I don't think I got room for. We number. We need to know more about the phone down on the phone. Can we get a concerted effort around here Ralph on the phone is Ralph on that phone? We're is. Is it a is it wouldn't phone booth? Mark Thompson's looking wooden phone booth. Ralph. Baer. BA ER. Bayer thing I worked so hard to get that title. I know you did during that is a, a very nice offer. Did you see this rescue ill? In phoenix. Was in Phoenix. I think so we're there, rescuing this guy out of the desert in the hills there, and they've been into stretch when he gets the. Phoenix mountain chopper rescue turns into spin ride from hell jaw watching it right now. You could kill somebody. Oh my God. It's horrible. So I call. Astronauts, don't spend like that preparing for space travel. This guy this guy just had a hangnail suffered. No actress into this. And now he's seventy four year old woman who has slipped and hit the ground. He she had a broken nail. And now she's my God out that sets a pole would you would you rather have just stayed in the desert. So I called Ralph and I and the phone answers, and I hear you and Mark listening to this show, so. Oh, yes. Okay. All right. Hey ralph. How are you, sir? Tim. How're you doing Mark Thompson's here? How are you? Sorry about this phone booth RAV. Well, I had a friend who worked there. I did work also, and they decided to take out a Bank of phone booths and by friend who was there at the park took it home with them didn't know what to do with it gave it to his brother. His brother had it in the shop for about five years and said here you take it. Garage. That's a cool thing is is it metal? Yeah. Yeah. It's wouldn't it's him a harmony door on it. Awesome. Well, let's cut the whole thing. It's got the seat. The desk where you would hang the phone book on God. You know that's all on the inside. Yeah. It's all it's all it's all middle of him. So where do you live? Monrovia. No, actually, I'm sorry. This is I used to live. Oh, yeah. Picture of it in the mail. I'm just kidding. Hey, buddy? That, that's a great offer. I I'd hate to just take it from you like that. I let let's let's I'll tell you what. Let's offer five dollars and not. I mean, yeah, we'll take care of you. I would look I would love to buy me at hate to, you know, that's worth some money, buddy. Over here. Let's Craigslist or whatever, and nobody was interested. I haven't put on the wrong. Well, would you listed for you to somebody? I think if you put a put a prostitute to in it, and then you put on Craigslist, I think you'd have better. I never thought of it on the back pain. That's funny. That's why I'd love to see it. Can we put up a picture on on our website? I'll tell you what. I'll send you. Till tomorrow. There's no light Mike Raj. Okay. Can do that tomorrow? Oh, that'd be great. We'll put it up on love to see that who'll. But buddy, look that's gotta be worth, you know, five hundred to fifteen hundred bucks to do. Well, hey for you, I'd give it to you. So good. And Tim would turn around and sell to me for five hundred. Oh, we definitely split. That is great. So can we put a picture up on our website tomorrow? I'll try to get a little older photographs. That's got a little heated man. It's beautiful. Sounds view. This sounds like it could go in your office here. Oh, it sounds like it go right at home. I could put a new phone in it and actually use it. Because because Bank of phone booths needs to have two sides on it. I mean it's, it's there. They would put him in, in his unit and bolt together. Panel missing. I could easily do that. Yeah. I I, I made of side panels. Nickname in high school. You told me you had the side panel at the house, and you don't know what to do with it didn't you tell me that what is it like the Dory? Mahogany. Unbelievable. That is a sexy booth and the doors. That's the thing is like you said with the padlock is co padlock on it. So it's, it's the exact same man love this. I can't. "Some homeowners in Tucson three for trees. They're looking for some advice on on planting. In fact, they actually came out and joins us live at the SABA home show last Saturday when we were broadcasting live there. So we've got calls already in Q, and you actually will have a guest from Tucson joining us here in a little bit. Yup. Scrape? We got a good lineup today. We've got lots to talk about for this time of year. Things are slowing down a little bit in terms of our pruning requirements for trees. But this time of year is great for planting trees for transplanting trees for doing some fertilization, we'll talk a little bit about those as we go along, and this range been awesome. Is rain the trees and plants. You're going to be really fired up right now. There's a I was walking my orchard last night. And there was the Anna apples were pushing out new growth. Six or going into torment season for apples, and they're pushing out new growth from all this rain, and it's the war they need it. And you know, that reserve of of water availability does translate into new leaf new vegetative growth, which the plants need to photo synthesized decree, the energy reserves, they need to survive and water is a big component of that. And if the trees are a little short on the seasonal rain. They just kind of hunker down and hold on man, if they get a late summer or early fall, rain like this. They're going to push a little bit of growth even though it's late in the season. I was just looking up on the hillside above our our office yesterday and typical of a lot of the Phoenix mountains, which are dotted with our foothill Pahlavi's, and they look so luscious green. And I mean, they're just loving it. They just soak it up with these nice lingering rains like that storm. We had that. Tail end of the hurricane Rosa. It's beautiful. It's a good thing for all of our plants. It's so nice to because some of us. You know, we have our drip irrigation systems, and they do a fair fair job of of watering. You have to be pretty good at at learning. How to use a drip irrigation system? Well to be able to get the depth of saturation that we need quite often. They're not tuned up in quite as functional as they should be. So we rely upon these sometimes supplemental watering I'll often put a hose out on one of my some of our larger trees or soaker hose, which I used quite a bit this summer on a couple of my pine trees that were distressed with that. The blight that they had, but it sure nice to get a nice deep soaking. Because there's nothing you can't really improve on just natural rainfall to kind of saturate the the root zone of these larger trees, it really can't be very effectively irrigated with just a a jerky meter system. Even even when it's functioning, well it said different green. They turn almost. Well, you know, it recharges a water table recharge, our our reservoir systems. And I mean, it's so nice to have a region-wide rain like this. Because it's it's doing a lot of good for the state bird populations are gonna be flourishing wildlife gonna everybody benefits from a good rain. I was driving out to Palo Verde yesterday. And I looked down at my maps. And I was on the satellite vision. I'm like, man. This is. Brown. You know, the satellite imaging Arizona, and I, but I look up and the creosote are so green the blanket night or on the desert is green from all the weeds that are popping up. It's like you look at the satellite image is Brown, and you look up, and it's it's not even the same place. We'll let you know for the last six years. A a group of us go hiking and hunting up at Apache lake every December, and we noticed last year all the hobos these the the main browse a shrub for deer were all dry. I mean, there is about about fifty percent of the shrubs were all dried, they weren't dead. But they had dry leaves on them. They were all wilted and just really struggling and this year, we know that's going to change. But in years past we noticed that they were nice and green and full. But that last year this droughts really taken a toll. But this is. Gonna be a big help. I bet this year when we head back up there again, it's going to be nice and green. I bet you're gonna find as a whole new. You're not even gonna feel like you're in the same place. It doesn't feel right. This doesn't feel you're in the one other effect is gonna be the wildflowers in spring. When we have a good nice wet winter it really produce a great crop of wildflowers in spring. So that should be a a banner year if this continues like this every month when you come in. We talk about a specific tree the tree of the month, which wanna relighting today. Well, this is one of my favorite trees of all time. And it is it is the pistachios pistachio or I'm sorry. It's the pomegranate this this this time. I there are two of my favorite P trees, pistachio and pomegranate, pomegranates are a wonderful plant in every respect. It's really considered a large shrub or small tree, you can grow it. Either way. You can kinda grow them up to be pretty pretty tall mind is about fifteen feet tall my yard. They can grow up to be twenty or twenty five feet at maturity, pretty slow growing. But. They're multi stemmed they grow up from the ground. You know with multiple stems are great screening plant. We use one kind of separates our pool area from the little back garden area beyond it on. And it's nice and full. And of course, because it's producing fruit. You want it to be nice the branches to be nice and low right to the ground. So it's easy for easy access for pruning or for for picking the fruit and what kind of fruit. Do you get off? Well, we're going to talk a little bit later this morning with someone who can answer that question even better than I can. But I will take shot at that. What kind of fruit can you get off pomegranates? There are a over a dozen varieties of pomegranates. And they they're all for producing a various sizes, and qualities and and tastes. And there's a few that are commonly available in our nurseries producer, wonderful of pomegranate, much this the same size and color that you can get in the stores and they're beautiful Ed will edible fruit. Trees are giving you something back on your investment. And this is one of those trees it. I would I think every yard needs a little pomegranate tree they're easy to easy to to grow much easier than citrus even just throw them in the ground. They'll grow up their deciduous trees to so they give you a little bit of fall color this time of year. They'll start to lose their leaves just about now. And. Keep losing leaves all the way through November and be pretty much a bear by December. And but they're just a great grapefruit tree. And this is a time of year that we harvest the fruit they they have to be easy to grow because they even grow at my backyard. Here you go I need to see the YouTube thing again because I still have figured out your easy way of eating them. Are they are more trouble to eat than crawfish? I know I know as a kid I remember opening those things up and picking out the one at a time. I mean, it was kind of a slow way to keep a young kid. Busy for for half an hour. My mom would probably give me one of those. Have you go sit in the corner and pick through those. But there is an easier way to open those up and get all the seeds out within about two or three minutes. And I have a YouTube video, look, it up pomegranate, John Eisenhower on YouTube and you'll probably find that there. And it's kind of a fun method of popping them open and opened getting all the seeds out and. Yeah. They're a great addition to any yard in there. This would be great time to plant them to anytime. This all deciduous trees can be planted in the winter, you know, turning the corner now into the cooler, weather, you can pick them up at a local nursery, maybe even some bare roots plants available. As we head into December January would they register on the lethal meter? I wonder. Meter? I I don't think so. Oh, meter covers oak creek flagstaff the flex far burrito. You're not gonna get pomegranates grown that high elevation. Are you, you know, that's that's another good question because the pomegranate festival which was held last Saturday last Sunday, and unfortunately, we had planned to go. But because of the big storm, we had I wasn't sure. The the roads are going to be good. There was so much a flash flood. Warning. We ended up not going, but it was held in skull valley this year, lots of good pomegranates up there, and Barbara will give us a little bit of a run down on that. When we have our on in our next segment. Sounds good skull valley back by between offer iron springs out springs off. Yeah, I read out a press kit. Call was held an auto last year and moves around to every year. Apparently, I'm going to definitely be a part of it as soon as we can maybe next year put that on our on. Our Vince lists the pomegranate festival. All right. I I've met to bring you a couple, and I know you have a couple of yourself, but I wanted to shout. Ours is I'm going to say it's finally about the five foot height range and it had. Thirty beautiful trauma Granitz on it that all look about perfect. Because that's the one thing that how do you know, when it's right, we'll colors Unitel you that. And you might have to taste one usually the birds loss tell you because they're going to start pecking them when they start getting a little bit larger. They can get the the the outer skin can get a little bit brittle as are facing toward the sun. And sometimes the birds will get in their starting to Peckham open because they're testing them to that's all they're doing. They're testing them. And if they start opening those up and taking quite a bit of siege. You'll know they're they're ready to go a little secret that we found is to keep the birds out of them. You can't put a small paper bag around him. Just a little a little lunch bag those little small ones, you can just kind of put it over each individual fruit. And just put a food tire rubber band around the top at at the branch that they're attached to and and you can just keep the birds out then you can keep you keep a few of. Exposed to the birds will go go after those. And then you'll be. When when you're ready to harvest them, you can just take the bag off. And you're ready to go. Our we've got Nancy on the line and wants to talk about a mesquite tree..

We ended up not going, but it was held in skull valley this year, lots of good pomegranates up there, and Barbara will give us a little bit of a run down on that one. We ever on in our next segment. Sounds good skull valley back by between offer iron springs out brings off. Yeah. I read out a press kit. Call was held an who last year and moves around every year. Apparently, I'm going to definitely be a part of it as soon as we can maybe next year put that on our on. Our Vince lists the pomegranate festival, I I've met to bring you a couple, and I know you have a couple of yourself, but I wanna shout. Ours is I'm gonna say. Hey, it's finally about the five foot hydrangea and it had couple thirty beautiful trauma Granitz on it that all look about perfect. Because that's the one thing that how do, you know, when it's right, we'll colors you need to tell you that. And you might have to taste one usually the birds. So tell you because they're gonna start picking them when they start getting a little bit larger they can get the the the outer skin can get a little bit brittle as the are facing toward the sun. And sometimes the birds will get in their starting to Peckham open because they're testing them to that's all they're doing testing them. And if they start opening those up and taking quite a bit of seed, you'll know they're they're ready to go a little secret that we found is to keep the birds out of them. You can't put a small paper bag around him. Just a little a little lunch bag those little small ones, you can just kind of put it over each individual fruit. And just put a food tire rubber band around the top. At at the branch that they're attached to and and you can just keep the birds out that you can see you keep a few of exposed to the birds will go go after those and then you'll be. When when you're ready to harvest them, you can just take the bag off. And you're ready to go aren't we got Nancy on the line and wants to talk about a mesquite tree?.

"We've got some homeowners in two solid three different trees. They're looking for some advice on on planting. In fact, they actually came out and joins us live at the SABA home show last Saturday when we were broadcasting live there. So we've got calls already in Q, and you actually will have a guest from Tucson joining us here in a little bit. Yup. Scrape we got to get lineup today. We've got lots to talk about for this time of year. Things are slowing down a little bit in terms of our pruning requirements for trees. But this time of year is great for planting trees for transplanting trees, produce and fertilise ation. We'll talk a little bit about those as we go along, and this range been awesome. His rain the trees, and plants are going to be really fired up right now. There's a I was walking my orchard last night. And there was the Anna apples were pushing out new growth. We're going into a torment season for apples, and they're pushing out new growth from all this rain in the war. They need it that reserve of of water availability does translate into new leaf new vegetative growth, which the plants need to photo synthesized to create the energy reserves. They need to survive and water is a big component of that. And if the trees are a little short on the seasonal rain. They just kind of hunker down and hold on man, if they get elite summer or early fall, rain like this. They're going to push a little bit of growth even though it's late in the season. I was just looking up on the hillside above our office yesterday in typical of a lot of the Phoenix mountains, which are dotted with our foothill Pahlavi's, and they look so lush and green. And I mean, they're just loving it. They just soak it up, you know, with these nice lingering rains like that storm. We had that. Tailender the hurricane Rosa. It's beautiful. It's a good thing for all of our plants. It's so nice to because some of us. You know, we have our drip irrigation systems, and they do a fair fair job of watering. You have to be pretty good at at learning. How to use a drip irrigation system? Well to be able to get the depth of saturation that we need quite often. They're not tuned up in quite as functional as they should be. So we rely upon these sometimes supplemental watering often put a hose out on one of my some of our larger trees or soaker hose, which I used quite a bit this summer on a couple of my pine trees that were distressed with that. The blight that they had, but it sure nice to get a nice deep soaking. Because there's nothing you can't really improve on just a natural rainfall to kind of saturate the the root zone of these larger trees, it really can't be very effectively irrigated with just two GOP meter system. Even even when it's functioning, well, it's a different green. They turn almost. Well, you know, it recharges a water table recharges, our reservoir systems, and so nice to have a region-wide rain like this. Because it's a lot of good for the state. The bird populations are going to be flourishing wildlife is gonna everybody benefits from a good rain. I was driving up to Palo Verde yesterday. And I looked down at my maps. And I was on the satellite vision. I'm like, man. This is. Brown. You know, the satellite imaging Arizona's, and I, but I look up and the creosote ser so green the blanket or on the desert is green from all the weeds that are popping up. You look at the satellite image is Brown, and you look up, and it's it's not even the same place for the last six years. A group of us go hiking and hunting up at Apache lake every December, and we noticed last year all the hobos these the the main browse shrub for deer. We're all dry. I mean, there is about about fifty percent of the shrubs were all dried, they weren't dead. But they had dry leaves on them. They were all wilted and just really struggling and this year. We know that's going to change. But in years past we noticed that they were nice and green and four. But last year this droughts really taken a toll. But this is gonna be a big help. I bet this year when we head back up there again, it's going to be nice and green. I bet you're gonna find a whole new. You're not even going to feel like you're in the same place. Like, wait. It doesn't feel right. This doesn't feel in the one other effect is gonna be the wild flowers in the spring. When we have a good nice wet winter it really produce a great crop of wildflowers in the spring. So that should be a banner year if this continues like this every month when you come in. We talk about a specific tree we have the tree of the month which wanna relighting today. This is one of my favorite trees of all time. And is it is the pistachios pistachio or I'm sorry. It's the pomegranate this this this time, I they're two of my favorite P trees stashing. Pomegranate, pomegranates are a wonderful plant in every respect. It's really considered a large shrub or small tree, you can grow it. Either way. You can kinda grow them up to be pretty pretty tall. Mine is about fifteen feet tall my yard. They can grow up to be twenty or twenty. Five feet at maturity, pretty slow growing. But they're multi stemmed. They grew up from the ground. With multiple stems are great screening plant. We use one kind of separates our pool area from the little back garden area beyond it. And it's nice and full. And of course, because it's producing fruit. You want it to be nice the branches to be nice and low right to the ground so easy for easy access for pruning or for for picking the fruit and what kind of fruit? Do you get off? Well, we're going to talk a little bit later this morning with someone who can answer that question even better than I can. But I will take shot at that. What kind of fruit can you get off pomegranates? Well, there are a over a dozen varieties of pomegranates. And they're all fruit producing a various sizes, and qualities and and tastes. And there's a few that are commonly in our nurseries that produce wonderful pomegranate much the same size and colour that she can get in the stores and they're beautiful Ed will edible fruit. And. Keep losing leaves all the way through November and be pretty much bare by December. And but they're just a great grapefruit tree. And this is the time of year that we harvest the fruit they they have to be easy to grow because they even grow at my backyard. There you go. Now, I need to see the YouTube thing again because I still have figured out your easy way of eating them. They are more trouble to eat than crawfish. I know I know as a kid I remember opening those things up and picking out the seeds one at a time. I mean, it was kind of a slow way to keep a young kid. Busy for for half an hour. My mom would probably give me one of those. Have you go sit in the corner and pick through those. But there is an easier way to open those up and get all the siege out within about two or three minutes, and I have a YouTube video, look, it up pomegranate, John Eisenhower on YouTube and you'll probably find that there. And it's kind of a fun method of popping them open and opened getting all the seeds out. Yeah. A a great addition to any yard in there. This would be great time to plant them to anytime. This all deciduous trees can be planted in the winter turning the corner now into the cooler, weather, you can pick them up at a local nursery, maybe even some bare roots plants available. As we head into December January would they register on the lethal meter? I wonder. Liter-? I I don't think so for meter covers. Oh creek flagstaff the flights that far burrito. You're not gonna get pomegranates grow that high elevation are you, you know, that's that's another good question because the pomegranate festival which was held last Saturday. Last sunday. "It was a, it was around nine minute pace, but I was I was wiped out like I was panting and by the way I'd run, I just want that fifteen that that half marathon at a nine minute pace and I was for the last seven miles. But man, this three I was it was just under maybe nine. I was out of it and we I haven't gone pretty drunk before, but seven minute mile is a really fast. Like how do you start jogging like that was always the hardest part of jogging for me. Is the walking out your front yard and then going from standing still to jogging. Yeah, yeah. Sometimes I think just like a nice easy. Warm up is good where you start out really. So maybe even start walking and then kind of each. Do you like like, do you drive your car to go? Why would you drive your car? You're gonna run fucking twenty miles. Fucking Jong to the run. They wanna do that in the past when we lived further from like good running trails. But now we live up by the Phoenix mountain preserve so like the good trail start within a mile of our house. So we just run to the trail head and then kinda get up in there. And is it nicer? Is it nicer living out here is a runner. Yeah, we love it. It's I mean, getting used to the heat is definitely a bit of a challenge and sunburn. Yeah, but yeah, we've been, we've been, we came here in January, so we've kind of been slowly adapting to the heat and. It's actually works well for us because western states can get above one hundred degrees in the canyon sections on that race. Oh, it'll be good for us to be training and some really hot days to be great, holy shit. So so maybe I should come down to run marathon with the Ari. Well, that's what I was thinking. Like if we're going to get you into a four thirty, you're gonna eat a pacer to kind of keep you on bro. No, I'm not letting you pace me at all. I'm going to coach you through this need to be there to to get things going when needed. Do you realize what you like like you're like, you forgave dealing with the fucking Hollywood elite snob. This is over the phone anymore. Sammy that. Losing bugging mind our or this fucking thing. I've got a whole life planned out his so should be. Does stupid to record your the full experience for you? Yeah, that's where my rule. I'll be the cameraman again. Okay. Let's plan this out. So we'll find the most beautiful easy marathon. Okay. Like nothing like the some guy was around the great wall of China marathon knows I. Yeah, fuck that. Does the wall go downhill. Climb up, and I was like, that's not happening. I had. I gave aria list of all these great, great marathons, and he was like, oh, to choose from. And then I was like, and then I was like, what about this one in Hawaii? I wanna get out of this world. I wanna go crazy. And so I don't know if he's going to train for it. Well, we need to get REI on board with the program. So he's ready to break four and a half as well. And then we can have a competition, four and a half, a ten minute mile read about their and how could you could you physically slow yourself down to ten mile? No doubt. And what would you just be like you probably wouldn't break a sweat. It will depends on how hot it is if it's cool, probably not. But if it's like if it gets up above seventy or eighty, how much do you think I need to way to get to this. I honestly don't know if you couldn't do it at your current weight, what we'd be looking for as a body composition change probably though. So like you have more working wait for you as opposed to just like deadweight more the name of my next special headway deadweight. Almost ominous. What I have is dead weight. If this works really well, your fans around the start, calling fit, burn fat. Burt dropped the a and no, that's not happening. Fucking dick head was. I was at the dodgers game with my kids and he was like, oh my God, the machine..

"So really? Yeah. I went to a division three school university -sconsin Steven's point. And then I actually moved out west fairly recently in two thousand fifteen. I moved to California count on the Sacramento area, and then just this January Nicole and I moved to Phoenix. So we're actually just maybe about ten minutes north of the airport by the Phoenix mountain preserve now. Got some good running back. They're really what part you down here. Is it the running? Yeah, and work a little bit to Nicole's, an attorney and her her job kind of had her come in this way. And then my stuff is running coaching. And then I, she worked for one of my sponsors alter footwear, and I do some of their events and things around the area. So really? Yeah. So what's it like being like, are you professional runner? I guess it depends on how you look at it like a, I think an ultra running. It's a small enough sport where to be like truly professional, you're only objective is to train and race is fairly rare. So I definitely do other things too, but I have a lot of flexibility to make sure I get in the training. I need to get into be ready for races and stuff. So yeah. Is there prize money and ultra running some races? A lot of times what ends up happening is if you do well at certain events or do well, yeah, do l. at certain events, more or less, you'll you'll attract sponsors and stuff like that. And that's what usually pays. There's not a lot of actual big prize money, racism ultra marathon running, although there is some but very small comparative. What you'd see in like other sports. To them what you sort of curiosity, what like. If you were to run just a marathon, how, how competitive could you be in just a marathon, like when you're looking at like top tier league side, getting spanked? Really? Yeah. I'm a meta in Australia boot way before marathons were even something like I had talked about them. My dad was really into marathons, like my dad ran Villanova in the sixties for John gun him jumbo Elliott, who was like a big running coach back then and. Was I wouldn't say, I'm sure this is probably back before back during civil rights but was competitive enough where there was an even a possibility he might go to the Olympics. Really. I don't know what he did. I didn't get how half-mile. Okay. But so I was always in running an oddly enough despite me being fattest, fuck right now I was always into running. I ran track in high school or in the two twenty four forty and my dad was real coachie about it. I knew about far lex before like when I was in eighth grade and so that's like Nicole. She was heavy into an early age. Really? Yeah, she was. What was your mile time in like seventh grade eighth grade. Five forty shit. Eighth grader. She was running at five forty. So yeah, so she, she got a little more serious than I was early on, but yeah. So you were really into it back into it, and then it was always something like I did it and college, but not guy. I not like the extent. You know it was like back then in college, I felt like running two miles was really going along run, you know, like the it sounds crazy. And then when I got out to LA, I started hiking a lot of really enjoyed hiking. I really enjoyed it, but I hadn't. I'd always thought wanna try marathon, and I was in in Sydney, doing the city opera house for a comedy, and that isn't a marathon that week, and I went down and I was like, Thuc yet..
