AJ Voices His Concerns Over Liberal Journalists Like Yashar Ali

"Let me just say up front. Yasha Ali is a good journalist. He's a good writer, and he's made himself a very important and influential guy, especially on Twitter. You know, he's broken stories, listen, he's the guy who broke the story last year about Fox News commentator Eric boiling, sending dick pics to a female colleague or colleagues at Fox News and Fox business network. And when he filed a $50 million defamation suit against him, Yoshi stood strong, didn't blink, and he said, you know what? I'm going to stand behind the accuracy of my story. I'm going to protect my sources and fuck you. And unfortunately, and this couldn't have made yasha feel great, but what are you going to do? Boiling sun died of a drug overdose, not too long after the story broke. Even with that awful news hanging over his head, y'all sure wouldn't buckle any protected his sources on a story he knew was right, given to him by sources he trusted implicitly. That's why I sometimes say journalism is a contact sport. You Asha was always also the first guy to get on Danny Masterson's ass for allegedly being a rapist. And as we all know, now that story ended up in the way that Netflix has gotten rid of Masterson. So that's the kind of journalism I love and live for. But what I fear is happening to yashar Ali and a lot of other guys is that they're starting to only attack one side of the fucking aisle. You know, Yoshi is unequivocally a liberal. He's a gay liberal and sorry that adjective has nothing to do with how I feel about the way he lives his fucking life. I don't care. I could give a shit. But it obviously has a lot to do with what stories he decides to cover and which ones he does it. And if he says otherwise, he's full of shit.

Where Is Merrick Garland?

"Where is Merrick Garland? You would think that after you raid a former president's home that you would at least get a press release, you'd think that the DoJ would mention this in passing silence, nothing. You go to justice dot gov, they have this Justice Department establishes reproductive rights task force. Justice dot gov, they have clicks of links of COVID-19 relief fraud scheme. Massachusetts construction company owner indicted for tax crimes. Okay. Nothing about the raid of a president, to give an idea of how extraordinary this raid was, it was a 9 and a half hour occupation, including over 30 agents, equivalent equivalent of a 180 man hours where Trump's staff were literally kicked out of Mar-a-Lago and now we're just waiting waiting and anticipation, where is Merrick Garland? And sun tzu's art of war, there's a great quote that says 1 may know the condition of a whole army from the behavior of a single man. Now, the silence is something I didn't anticipate. The raid surprised me to some extent. The timing of it. But generally, when I thought about it, we predicted here on this program. But Merrick Garland being the attorney general of the United States owes the country, hey, how did this happen exactly? What was the reason for it? Why could you have not issued a subpoena? Why a raid? Just everyone understands a raid is only necessary if you believe a crime is currently being committed or property is about to be destructive. Donald Trump was not even at Mar-a-Lago.

"Let's get back into the conversation about Donald Trump, my theory is that they're trying to pigeonhole him into having information that's prohibited from retaining without returning back to the national archive if they can get him on those charges. He will be barred from holding office and be barred from seeking office in the future. I'm keen on the fact that I think that this was the exact plan to not allow him to run for office. After the cpac, after cpac is normally when you see who emerges as the Republican FrontRunner. Who's going to run for president? Donald Trump swept desantis under the rug. Why President Trump Shouldn't Care About the Past

"I was interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, you are certainly free to look at it. You can read it or hear it last week. And they asked me, they believe that the election was fair at The Wall Street Journal editorial page. And I am still agnostic. The I don't have proof that the election was stolen, but I have very strong arguments that there was massive fraud. I also believe, as I believe the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. That the left would cheat in any election that they felt they needed to win and which was in which they were able to do so. My colleague and friend Hugh Hewitt wrote a book many years ago. If it isn't close, they can't cheat. He was referring to the left. He Hewitt is considered a moderate Republican. And he wrote that book. In any event the president's preoccupation with the past election, I said on this show, over and over, there is only one thing you have to concentrate on mister president, and that is the Georgia election two runoffs. All we needed is to save this country, was one. To be decided in favor of a Republican. But instead he preoccupied himself with the last election. And kept saying that this would be a fraud. The Georgia elections, to which many of his followers said, well, if it's going to be a fraud, why should I vote?

What Makes America Exceptional? Bill Federer Explains

"Bill, I've been following you for years. We've shared so much time together. You have the ability to be able to analyze the arc of history and then be able to apply it to today. I've asked you this question before in our podcast. But I think it's really important for our audience to hear this. What makes America different and exceptional from a biblical standpoint and historical standpoint is America like every other nation that's been on the face of the earth and if not, why? In answer to that, I decided I would research every century of recorded human history to see what the most common form of government was. So I went back to Sumerian cuneiform on clay tablets and the elamites and the Persians and the Greeks and Romans and the most common form of government in world history is kings. Hands down, it's kings. Nimrod tower Babel pharaoh Caesar's power wants to concentrate into the hands of one person. It's no different than you put some kids on a playground and one's the bully. You put them junior high girls in a clique and one of them is the diva. You put some people in the Woods, one of them's an Indian chief. You put them in an inner city, one of them is a gang leader. And all the king is, is a glorified gang leader. And it's a hierarchical system. If you are friends with the king, you are more equal. If you are not friends with the king, you are less equal. And if you're an enemy of the king, you're a slave or you're dead. Well, I thought slavery started in 1619. No, wherever you had the first king on top you had slaves on the bottom. And this model continued with technological advancements, kings could kill more people, right? So instead of cane killing neighbor with a stone, they're killing with a bronze weapon or an iron weapon or a failing spear, similar sword gunpowder. The weapon improves, but it's that same fall in nature, it can't kill enable. And also with technological advancements, kings could track more people. Do you know Augustus Caesar wanted to have a worldwide tracking system? It was called a census that was like modern technology 25 BC, right? He wanted to count. If he could have had 5G and cell phones and cameras, he would attract him that way. But as the centuries go on, the king of England had the biggest empire that Planet Earth had ever seen, 13 million square miles, half a billion people. Anyway, the sun never set on the British Empire, the king of England was a globalist. He was a one world government guy with him at the top and America's founders decided they didn't like this one world government guy telling us what to do. We broke away and flipped it. And made the people the king.

Charlie Welcomes Blake Masters, Arizona Candidate for US Senate

"I changed my shirt. It is still red, but it says Blake masters for Senate. Now Blake, you're gonna have to tell me this whole kind of design flow. You got for your campaign. I've never seen a campaign like it ever. Yeah, well, you know, we're just trying to be bold and innovative. I guess it's very simple though, so it's like why? Why don't more people just do that? Like obviously the whole point of a campaign shirt is to be a walking billboard. But everybody tries to make it cute and the consultants will tell you if you don't have like a logo silhouette of Arizona with a nice sun setting behind the state. Well, you're gonna lose. And it's like, no, actually just advertise the message. Blake master's percentage. There you go, it's a resting. I'm done for a while Blake, and we at first said, okay, we're not sure what we're gonna do in the Senate race. We were gonna kind of stay out. But honestly, part of the reason we endorsed you and I endorsed you is just the unbelievably unfair attacks against you. I thought just, you know, kind of let the whole process play out, but I just, I can't stand slander and it was just that really motivated me. I don't want to spend too much time on that, but that was actually for me one of the motivating factors, like I gotta do what I can to try to get the word out. So tell our audience about yourself in our show before, you're getting a lot of national headlines and even more so, you're in the polls, Trump endorsed you but tell us about your background and why you're running. Yeah, I mean, I grew up in Arizona, moved to two summer rows four, and I had a great childhood in Arizona. I love this state. I went to California for a few years, which my opponents are beating me up for. But I went to Stanford and Stanford law school. I've interrupt you. Have their voting base had lived in California at some point. Yeah, everybody's from somewhere else. But that's all Arizona. And so I spent a few years in California, Stanford Stanford law school worked in Silicon Valley, linked to Peter Thiel, who I'm sure we'll talk about. But I ran his investment firm investing in startups was involved in the Trump 2016 campaign. But I moved back to Tucson in 2017, 2018, and I was alarmed at what I saw the state had changed. It became much more of a swing state. I still think it's red. It's more than reddish, but we got our work cut out for us,

The Media and Their Agenda Against Guns

"But John, are you saying, what is the agenda though? Because we understand, I think that us on this side of the aisle, we understand that it's clear as the noonday sun if a shooter wants to kill as many people as he can, he's going to go somewhere with no guns, and he's going to shoot as many people that seem like there would be soft targets. That's why schools are targeted, miles of targeted, and these areas where there's mass gathering and not a lot of shootings. We don't see them go to the police station. You know, they're not going to a gun store. Or even going to something like these gun situations. Shooting range is another one. They're not going there because they're going to get smoked. So why do you think the media is turning a blind eye to this? Do they have an agenda? Well, unfortunately I've kind of come to the belief that they do have an agenda on that. These are inconvenient things. But I don't know how you just ignore the diaries and manifestos that these people put out, and yet they do that time after time. The parts that show why they pick the targets that they did. I mean, why is that newsworthy? They go and they talk about all these other things, facts that they frequently get wrong, like what type of gun was used or at least initial the news reports are wrong or things like how they obtained the gun, but the easiest thing to check usually is whether or not guns were banned in a particular place. After a school shooting in Texas, 30% of the schools in Texas allowed teachers to be able to carry. Unfortunately, the school wasn't one of them. But you can check within like three or four minutes online, whether or not it was one of the schools that banned people being able to go and carry guns.

"Everybody knows what's going on here. And this is all you can do. So optically, you would want the former, but I think realistically everyone knows that the latter is where everything is right now, right? I mean, we've already got a anonymous people within the organization saying there's only one month left. You have to imagine the players feel the same way too. As a fan, you hate to see that. You want to go down swinging, right? Even though we know you're probably not going to win anything this year, at least, have some pride and look like you're trying. So yeah, I mean, I don't know, I'm pretty agnostic about this team right now, just because if they don't care, why should I? You know, what you're saying is true and that sentiment I'm sure is shared by many Lakers fans. But it's sad, isn't it? It's so sad. I was super excited about this season, even though I know there was a lot of mixed feelings coming into it. I was still excited. But I think a lot of people, this has been the hardest, if not one of the hardest seasons to watch as a fan. So I'm right there with you. If you're having a hard time watching the Lakers, just know that I am too. We all certainly are. Why we won with a super chat said, I'm just going to outright ask, do we make it out of the plan? And if we do, how many games do we win if healthy? This is a disgrace. Okay, so the play in right now, if everything finishes as is, the Lakers would get the pelicans in the first round of the plan, then they would get the loser of the clippers and the wolves in the second round. If you survive that, you get the suns in round one. So how do you see that? How do you see that going? I think they will beat the pelicans for sure. I am going to go out on a limb and say, if they manage to get the wolves, I think they can secure a playoff spot. Because I think that team is still maybe another year of seasoning away from being like a real threat. So if that's how the bracket breaks out, I feel pretty good about my odds there..

"Lakers oh boy, we got a rough one to get into tonight. The Lakers absolutely crushed by the Phoenix Suns, particularly in the second half. Final score, one O 8 to 90. Joining me tonight is shown Davis, you guys can find him on Twitter at Sean underscore, Sean, you've probably heard him on doing our Lakers nation film breakdowns. That was not the kind of performance we were hoping to see out of the Lakers. No, we knew going into this game, that it was going to be a tough night for the Lakers. You got a suns team that in terms of their key rotation players is basically a 100% healthy. You've got a Lakers team that is not, but that's not to say the Lakers are going to win this one, regardless, based on the way the Lakers have played, I wouldn't have had them as the favorite going into this game, even if both teams were completely healthy. I think that's fairly honest assessment there. So the Lakers losing isn't so much the surprise. I think the surprise was how good LeBron looked and how much they still struggled in this one. Yeah, for sure. I was telling you, I think, before we hopped on here, it was like, yeah, I was LeBron. Trouble Aretha was really good, but I mean, you look at the stats, I was like, okay, Ross had an okay game throughout that first half or so in the discipline all downhill is seen from there. But yeah, Isaiah Thomas can buy a bucket the entire game. Deandre Jordan was bad the entire game. And Wayne Ellington, when he can't buy a shot, it's brutal. I'm gonna go with the under again. Because i think i think they're going to win this game so i i'm gonna go with under and just say that he was going to be great but it won't be forty-six he's not going to thirty and sixteen. Well they didn't mention the assists in that profit point rebounds. It's no i'm state. He's just he's not going to have three turnovers in our game you're gonna go with the under Okay control over. Winning certainly is two point. Five dollars point. Richard holiday perk. I want as my quarterback i want the guy that had me at eleven in to the guy that had me. That was an mvp candidate because really around talent. And i know that when he's done having these issues that was a personnel problem. That was guys around in that. He's like i can't trust it. I'm not about to get my clock cleaned right now. Because he got hit a lot. You that offensive. Line getting old and breaking down. He didn't trust anything happening in front of him. He's in indianapolis is a fresh start and a coach who believes in them. It allows him to go back to be in that guy in two thousand seventeen that we saw. I think it's important to note fellous and listen. We all know the game of football. And i understand absolutely what you guys are saying man but when i look at this situation i'm not looking at it from from comparing everybody around. The league. dallas went through the same exact thing they would do the same thing and obviously people around you and the team around. You is going to impact a lot of that performance. I remember watching jalen hurts it at first game against the saints saying they got some he could play in this league. Obviously you've gotta surround them with talent like any other quarterback dak prescott was drafted in the fourth round. They never planned on him. Seeing the feel it tony romo back went out and all of the talk about dak prescott was he was wrong. He was ready. He didn't have all you needed to have the be a starter in this lee. And i'm not saying that gives the greatest thing since sliced bread but we all in agreeance. I believe that you can win with dak prescott if you him in the right situation and have the right guys around him i think that for jalen hurts carson which is going to have to prove to me that adversity can hit. He can answer the bail at fight through it. That's why right now. I'm taking jalen hurts because i've seen him fight through that already. So i do you see with the right pieces around. He certainly can win. I'd take that prescott either one of them. There's no question about. Because i believe that. Prescott a better quarterback both mentally and physically than both of those dues down. Well nobody say but in the end jalen hurts. Hasn't given me enough body of work. You talk about winning carson. Wentz showed us he can win. Lebanon to mvp of potential mvp of the leaving. You know all pro caliber player pro bowl. So he's giving us enough to say ourselves. I think we can win with him with everything around him. Jalen hurts his yet to do that. Because he's still young keyshawn to your earlier. Point to wentz might actually benefit from a change of scenery in indy. He will be reunited with his former offensive coordinator and former teammate. Yup yup frank reich and threw three touchdowns with him offensive coordinator in two thousand seventeen. All right thank you markets for the same place with both of these guys. "Take away his job or anything because carson wentz was our starter all right. We're going to welcome back. Swab swag gu Okay carson wentz. He obviously did not react well to the drafting of jalen hurts. He posted his worst career. Numbers statistically be looking to turn it around in indy so keyshawn would you rather have whence or hurts of course no question about it. I think jalen hurts has a long way to go. And he probably will be a terrific quarterback in philadelphia whether in philadelphia indie where carson wentz is. I know the body of work. I understand what carson wentz has done in this league. Yes last year was not great. Fifteen what did he have yet. Sixteen touchdowns and fifteen interceptions. No i don't want that at all but if you look at the years before that the only problem that you have of course wants to staying healthy. Can't he stay healthy. Unfortunately out against the los angeles ramsey tours aco. They went on to win the super bowl. He came back. He had a terrific campaign in eighteen. Not a bad campaign in nineteen twenty twenty. Didn't go well. And i agree with doug peterson. You always looking to upgrade. The backup quarterback position jalen hurts. Was there. it didn't go well. You drafted him. So you said. I'll tell you what let's give him an opportunity because clearly carson winston hair was not on right things were he was seeing ghost. Whatever you wanna call it. It was problematic in philadelphia. Both on and the field. A change of scenery is is going to work for him. In indy with frank right clearly he missed that relationship with frank right now. He has the relationship again in indianapolis for the colts a team. That's prime to make a strong playoff run. If you think about the aging philip rivers. He was in a dogfight in buffalo last year in the playoffs. Philip rivers as old as he was in. You don't think if you can insert carson winston to the same lineup. No major changes for this football team with a coach that he loves. That understands him the same page that he can't get them past the buffalo bills or at least into a deep run into the playoffs. Because i believe so. I i would certainly think that carson wentz is going to change a lot of people's minds this year in indianapolis and i know a lot of people look at what went on in philadelphia and they say this guy's done. He's a problem in the locker room. He's he's a head case. We don't want to deal with a guy that thinks this way. Change of scenery goes a long way for a lot of players in professional sports. Mckee we will one for one man. I thought we was going to agree on this one too. I'm taking jalen hurts tomorrow and listen to your point of course winced more. Talented than jalen hurts. He has more tools and ability. When you think about playing a quarterback position but you know who else he does has more talent and twos as well dak prescott and we've had this conversation for years about who would you want carson wentz or dak prescott from physical trait from physical ability standpoint. I'm taking carson wins but the mental. Makeup of a quarterback key is paramount. Especially when you start talking about guys go have to go through some adversity. And the only reason i'm talking about taking jalen hurts over this one. Because i've seen her go through this process as alabama so. Maybe i'm a little bit a little bit too close to this but i know is mental makeup. I know that he can go through things. That are hoard. It go through trials then overcome like people have been telling this kid. He can't play quarterback for a long time. He was the first woman of the year. The university of alabama job was taken over by tour to ago was down. He has to come back in and perform at a high level. You think about what he did it. Philly philly was not a great team all of the things that were cast on carson wentz last year was not just carson wentz offense of land. They had trouble with the the. The conversations between the peterson carson wentz. There's a lot of things weapons on the outside when it comes to receive a lot of these transpired. The one thing i didn't see carson wentz do is get on get on television or in interviews and take responsibility for the things that were going on even if they weren't his fault and i believe that's a trait that a lot of quarterbacks need to have just came off of a conversation with air raja's eras hadn't had all of the great things that its disposal but he's made doing. I'm not comparing the football players of compared to mental makeup carson wentz head to go with a guy and obviously we all want to be around coaches we love and it systems that we think would be great for us but sometimes that's not the case in the nfl. You may have to go through one or two years. I did not like how he responded to adversity. I did not like how he responded to. Nick foles being being the guy that finish the super bowl run even though during the regular season carson wentz was magnificent. I had this conversation with dan. Orlovsky y'all know how much he loves carson used to now baker mayfield but now they do anything together. The bottom line is man. When i think about it when i think about jalen hurts versus carson wentz. I'm strictly going to the mental makeup of these guys. And i'm also going to the fact that i believe jalen hurts. Has that theme. That gets guys rally galvanize and follow behind him a little bit more than carson wentz does carson. Wentz has to go fit in in this. I believe gonna play well. That's already a playoff team. I believe he's one of the guys. If not the guy with the most pressure on him in the lead not to take away from what the colts have done. Already to your point with philip rivers but when we start having conversations about these two guys. I wanna do. That's going to be standing in the mud with me and i don't know that about carson wentz. I'm not saying he can't or he hasn't evolved to that. But i know jalen hurts my staying in the with me with. It's good or bad marcus. Just real quick devil's advocate when you talk about mental makeup here. You'd rather go with jalen hurts. He's played one season. How do you know who we on the phone even better. How do you know who he is in the face of adversity rose. I know jalen hurts is not to check out. And that's why preface by saying watching this do in college like that's the biggest sample size that we have. If you go back and look at quarterbacks and athletes in college there was none. That went through jalen. Her jalen hurts was poured during a national championship and to a came in. And then go. No i was gonna say. That's true. marcus he. He has the makeup the mental makeup based on his college resume. No question about it. But don't you give some credit to change of scenery. When things go so bad you can be a bad player. A bad person in a certain situation when you leave that situation all of a sudden it's different people treat you different. They talk different. You feel different. That's why i feel like in terms of which quarterback i'd rather have carson wentz. Because i think the changes scenery you're gonna get the twenty seventeen eighteen nineteen and if you know then he owned belonging to leave. Which is if. I could jump in here. Which to me is a guy that was once eleven to and an mvp candidate and a legit one before the acl. That's a guy. I can rally around. Meanwhile i'll say this government's on jalen hurts wasn't drafted to be a starter. They never expected them. To how long did it take. Doug peterson to finally commit to it. He didn't really want to because he knew what he had. Yeah he's a big alabama fan. So i watched his career. So you're right. He was taken out of a championship game and was a great teammate. Absolutely great team..

"I'm gone. Okay you make a great point about emotion right. And let's take this to the relationship element hon. If you were going through some which is significant other and y'all were having conversations but you were sleeping downstairs on the couch or she put you on the sofa. Eventually you'd think you make your way back to the bed right and things are going to be be fixed but when they leave the house and they don't show up night after night after night. What message should you take. That's what aaron rodgers is done. Aaron rodgers ain't showed up. Ota's he showed up the minicamp and guys like you keep talking about a super bowl run and he's not prepared for it so unless you give him the benefit of the doubt that he goes show up which would from a player's standpoint. I agree he could show up. And be as good as any other quarterback. But i remember two years ago. A lot of nfl pundits a lot of qb gurus getting on here saying aaron rodgers. Don't look like itself. It looks like the green bay. Packers made the right decision taking a corner bang and then he comes back and followed it up by. Mvp season so for me when you talk about emotion in spite and optimism i agree i live on those principles to until you show me actions. You not go not showing up at home making me wonder where you are and we continue this relationship so look for all of the guys out there all the ladies that continues to have this optimism. If you people ain't coming home at night and they keep telling you they don't want to come home at some point you need to take a clue as started looking for another another bowl or another lady or figure out how you do this by yourself. So i want you to read that allan hi. He's back just passed me. A mean it says creating relationship drama is all fun and games until the actually decides to move on and so when you think about all the drama. The green bay packers have created starting with jordan. Love to this point where we are. Now amanda checked out yes he would love to win the super bowl for the green bay packers. But guess what as i say before allen mar. Fay's not leaving. Brian going anywhere. They're still in the building. You know as covering the new york jets and being on the sideline in training camp and practices standing there. The general managers in the president's every single practice every single game in the locker room. And you mean to tell me than aaron rodgers wanna see face. they're not gonna all of a sudden just disappear they're gonna be they're evaluating players. Imagine that you gotta walk past. Aaron rodgers every single day vice versa. That that that's not what he wants. He wants to be gone somewhere. Like denver for instance where he has an opportunity to play against. Patrick mahomes who actually gonna be joining us live on the show here in a little bit nicely so when you think about those sorts of things is perfect for him again. I'll say it again. You know jordan love is these seen jordan love and practice. He wishes well for jordan. Look but he also knows that the green bay packers a have a long way to go to get to where he put them in the nfc championship game a year ago or two years ago. It's just what it is. I understand the wishful thinking. I'm thinking like report and start thinking like unhappily i will. I will leave it as this. You know i always care most about the cheese heads. The fans the ones that are affected and the only misses i would have stay together for the kids. Bad for the fans are torn up. But that's all i got is kids. Man is for the kids. I get it man there. You're supposed to have that train of thought but the bottom line is when you look at everything and totality. I'm right there. Low key man like you could play a game and you could be disgruntled like russell wilson. For instance. we heard some comments for russ and people start speculating whether he would be out. Trade partners came about a russ that was this bailed russ came up during the interview with p. Care said look. We love each other as fake as it was. He's he'll there. This is a different animal man. And look i would. I would think this is my thought right because air raja's has shown over the years to be a guy that's that's like he's he's introverted but he also will will will be a guy that's willing to open up and willing to talk about things he hasn't been afraid to say anything i think in this last year and a half or so. He's kind of been delicate with his words. Which i don't like that version air rogers. The air rogers out new previous to that would just come out and say it and say what what he wanted to say. What it is. But when i'm looking at all of this stuff oh and play out. This seems like a guy that it's way more than just football. That's number one and then number two. He knows everything that all of us have been saying. That green bay has a good rosty in green bay has players and maybe to figure out what they do. Aaron rodgers air raja's has been the guy to not show up to anything all right guys well in aaron rodgers defense. I will say this last year. He showed he's not running out of steam. He set career highs in touch. Steel total quarterback rating completion percentage last season. And i feel like oh plus the twenty twenty mvp. So he's looking at everybody like this. I know who i am. I'm here in rogers are let's take a break so go. You'll stay with us right. Hey hey molly. Karen rosiere in. You're listening to the first. Take podcast and i have a huge favor for you to ask. Doug peterson was entering his fifth season. As the head coach of the eagles and had made three straight playoff appearances. They won four games last season and he was fired. In january carson wentz was also entering his fifth season for the eagles. He led the league in sacks and lost his starting job in week. Fourteen to jalen hurts whence was traded to indian march and as we stand today hurts imposition to take the reins of the starting job with new head. Coach nick serianni. Doug peterson recently addressed. The drafting of jalen hurts by saying. We continue to look for quarterbacks. And that's something that will never change. We won a super bowl with our backup quarterback and we've had to play with our backups. A couple of times in philadelphia. So we did that a year ago and brought in jalen hurts not to undermine carson not to do anything to.

"Paul a true leader. Somebody who knows what to do in crucial situations began this can grow into that role. He has to make his st rose. No question about it. You have to block out the noise on the world. No question about it but for them to be able to to win this championship or even better yet win game too. He has to step up to the plate. I think you'll be much better than he was in game one because the injury obviously having good medicine that he's taking all the different things that he's getting attention to on their knee certainly will come to for wishing in game two so he's the most important person to me because without him on the floor. This is a totally different team on the road. Most important player for the boxes. Not janas because you know what you're getting from him. The most important player for the bucks is a guy that they need to keep out on the floor but some people are saying he can't be out there. That's brook lopez what we saw to brook lopez to close out. The series against the hawks was defense and low post scoring which is great thing to have this late in the season. We know he can do both. But in pick and roll defence. He and bobby portis have been exploited in game one and now they've got to make that adjustment but if they take him off the floor you lose rebounding you lose rim protection and you lose offense something that the bucks cannot afford to lose. What they need is the brook lopez's with finished the series with the against the atlanta hawks. They need that guy. I need to figure out how to get him back playing that way while also keeping them on the floor protecting him defensively. You know what that means. Stop switching. it doesn't make sense in those situations. You can switch one-two-three maybe once before but you can't have brook lopez on an island. You cannot bobby. Portis on an island with chris paul licking his chops backing up. Let me set you up. Let me get this guy. Went to one too much ice. Oh so this is not going to be about. This is about offense. Yes because if you take off the floor it will hurt you but if you leave them on the floor. It can't hurt you defensively. That's not on brook. Lopez that is on the coaching. That is on the scheme. They've got to figure out a way to keep them on the floor because he can help you. He'll be important game. You gave me a whole lot of buts so out. You gave me a well. He's this and he can't switch on that and he can't. So why is he on the coaches. So why is he even on the floor because offense. Dj is a problem in a liability. You're telling me about office when janas healthy is giving you thirty. Walk in blind at the end. Jaanus is always a thirty piece. Walk all day long ordeal middle tennis and then middleton closes thing for you when you think about brook lopez being on the floor. And he's supposed to help you out on the defense side. Yes there's a liability. So why would. I have him on the floor when i know. I got a raining defensive player of the year on the floor. A guy who's loan. Who can make shots inside. Bully ball on the offense in. I'm going to get thirty. Plus from him when he's healthy and i believe that he'll be one hundred percent healthy based on what he did in game one in the way he looked in game one. Carry that over the game too. There's no way inhale out brook lopez out there full-time not even calls. Alison even coast really. So then you miss the end of the hawk where he was such an important player. Compromise and we'll hall way in different style than the phoenix. Taking really do exact same thing. You still need that. No by the way the andrea was dominating on the boards. And tell me tell me about him on the board. You mentioned that. And i didn't even get into the andre who had twenty boards. Okay so they wanna humane. Glass glancing ratings clean into politics her when he was on vacation. So i don't think i'll i'll have to catch them up on what happened in game on all right guys. I'm expecting a lot of attention and focus on chris. Paul coming into this game too so maybe we keep an eye on. What cameron payne can do in some spurs since i'm spurts on the port out there and we'll be. We'll be trying to figure out what's happening with brook lopez against the pick and roll of. What the bucks are doing as well. But what do you guys think who else could be. X-factor defensively what can they do to stop chris. Paul in the pick and roll. I feel like mike boone. Hosmer is actually an x factor. Because you know. I'll say that the adjustments at he's made in the playoffs weren't adjustments. He made its adjustments made by the other team which is injuries happened. Kyrie irving went out. They were getting smoked in the first two games of that series. He went out series change to their favor. Trae young. they couldn't stop him. He got hurt series changed to their favor. I don't wanna see anybody else get hurt. We've had enough. All stars get hurt in the playoffs so if nothing happens and it stays the same all right mike boone. Houser you've gotta fix whatever's going on with that defense. Make the adjustment. So i do. Think he's an ex factor. I would say jew holidays. Gotta figure out when they switch is at booker or is it chris. Paul you know both of them got the mid range elbow jumpers coming down so if you can get into facing him and arrest him and pressured into and i think that that is going to be x factor defensively for milwaukee outside of that. I mean they got three players at that right now or cooking. And that would be chris. Paul devon book and andrea aiden. You gotta pick your poison. You can't take all three out. Yeah a lot of the time on. Chris paul they went big right so you had. Pj tucker on them then when they switched you've got lopez being exposed ten portis at times. Do you think the option here is to go small and not switch perhaps and start with a jrue holiday. Who said. I've gotta be more aggressive. I've got to be more assertive against chris. Paul to start get over screens idea switching his nice during the regular season. 'cause you don't wear down your guys now. Everybody wants to fight over screens all the time. And that could wear you out but in a playoff series. Now it's basically all for everything right now for a championship. I don't know of switching. O five makes sense. And when you're chris paul and you're really smart you know okay. This is what they're doing. Great who who's bobby portis garden you. You're setting the screen because they're going to switch because that's what they're supposed to do this so robotic. It's so predictable. And now i've got bobby portis in a in a one on one. Everybody get out of the way. And i'm playing one on one against bob reporters who got love him. He can't guard guards. You can't especially like chris get into mid range. Get the shot he wants. They've got to get away from that concept. Don't be so stubborn and make sure it's the right thing and like juice saying that. That's him suggesting. I've got a fight over screens. I can't just surrender in screens and just go ahead. We're going to switch. No no we've got to keep them guessing on when i'm going to go over when i'm not it's only getting two. Let's not let's not get caught up in it get eighty nine percent of the time if you down to. Oh you go home without the trophy. But it's only game one. It's only game once. So we'll see if boone hosmer and the rest of the milwaukee bucks make the necessary adjustments and in defense of my fellow stanford grad brook lopez. I mean in the pick and roll when he was on chris paul. Those shots were contested. He was there chris. Paul hit tough shots. You know so whether it was whether it was dropped whether it was switch whether it was be more aggressive. Try to get the ball to chris. Paul hands chris. Paul was the one who was in control. So back to your point. I think it might be coached but then again of course roz agrees with me that brook lopez. There's one win. Hey hey. I'm molly karen rose. "To the legends that came before him. Whatever path you take the greatness. Gatorade is there to help you feel it. Because greatness starts with g good morning and welcome to i take on roz gold on what i am here with keyshawn johnson. We have alan hahn here. What's up fellas. How you doing this morning. I know you finish four hours. Radio success steven will be mad us. But that's okay. No ronnie lott was coming on the show but it's good to have him only jersey. I'm gonna wear man. It's is a good one. Hey album putting in the work. All right i just got here so i'm trying to catch a. Let's get to it because who fans we have endured through a basketball list evening yesterday but tonight the nba finals are back for game to rejoice sons. Come off of a dominant win. In game one led by a third quarter explosion from chris paul in which he scored sixteen of his thirty two points and also finish the games with nine assists while the bucks l. It was a good sign to see yada onto the kupu poor in twenty points and seventeen rebounds after missing two games with the scary me hyperextension. We heard from both teams superstars heading into tonight's match up different. We have a real team team where you can't just key on one guy. Two guys everybody. On our teams capable of having a big game and everybody is comfortable and accept arose. Not so good you know is are there so good to help my team in any way possible but going to gain jill capital the future. Hopefully we can put us to win all right so keyshawn start raju. Winning a ring is more important to which players legacy would you say. It's chris ball or would you say that rings more important for younis's legacy is more important for if you wanna talk legacy chris. Paul and the reason is is because of the book. Everything we talk about with chris. Paul we've talked about. How much of a leader he is. Leadership abilities teams that. He's playing on getting in and out of the playoffs. Getting bouncing certain rounds all of that first ballot hall of famer and no question about it top five point guard of all times. Probably no question about that either. But you see what i just did. It's always going to be but plenty. Didn't win one but he didn't win. What it's so important so close right now. One one the situation you can point to a lot. You can point to youngest piazza's feel young. Janas has time a lot of time to go and win a championship. Chris paul in phoenix right now. The west is only going to get stronger next year. It's only gonna get better. Golden state klay thompson differ getting there guys back. Utah staying healthy to clip for staying healthy. You start to look it in the phoenix suns right. Then they're right there so why not cash in now in. That box is checked. There's no question about it. It is chris. paul. Chris paul will be in the hall of fame. Whatever happens in these finals. Have no bearing have no say on that. He'll be in springfield. it's already been established. It's already done winning the championship. Cherry on top ring. Maybe obviously that a lot of players love to have because it does give you that little bit of extra cachet that puts you in a different conversation. But he's still going to the hall of fame jaanus has one two. Mvp's and yet he goes through a free throw line on the road and he's mobbed. There are a lot of people that watch him and look at his game and think he's a guy that's really great at this game. What he's lacking one fundamental skill and that's one of the most important skills in the game. His shooting the basketball from anywhere outside of eight feet. He is a great player who needs something to establish himself as an all time. Great a championship leading team to one would certainly do it so for him. This is the opportunity. And why is it now. You say he's young. Sure he is but so is the rest of the east and so is and to me. The opportunity is now in this situation. The windows open and available to him. Because if they don't win there could be changes. There could be changes coach. There could be changes on the roster. But we already know they'll be changes in the east because brooklyn. Well they're not going anywhere philadelphia. They are there and they want to get better and then of course. There's the boston celtics. Who realized that finishing seventh is not good enough and they will be better so if there's an opportunity to win it's now and he's got to do it because this might be his only chance if he doesn't get a ring shirt to be nice. I don't think he's got that same kind of respect as most mvp's do. Here's what i saying against that. Though allen is one chris. Paul isn't getting any younger. We don't know if he's coming back to phoenix moving on in free agency. We have no idea whatsoever. The west is loaded in going to only get stronger the east. There's a handful of teams that you can talk about. And you just mentioned them the philadelphia seventy six boston. Obviously you know. Maybe the knicks atlanta in there you throw in and then the milwaukee bucks milwaukee's been at the top of the leaderboard pretty much every single year. That jaanus has been in the nba. When you think about it. He has time. Chris pau in the phoenix house. There is no time. That's the only thing and chris ball's career that you check the box. Of course he's going into the hall of fame. There's no question about hall of fame. But i can tell you this for sure going behind. The velvet wrote standing at the club trying to get in and everybody walking up that have rings and they tell chris were. You can't come in right now. why cannot come in. i'm a hall of famer. Well you don't have rain. Robert ory just walked past humint. You got five. Just that is the way players. The hall of fame is great. Players is professional sports. They want the championship. No matter what you ask anybody they will trade it there hall of fame credentials to get a ring in anybody that says that it's not true is a damn lie. I'm going to tell a damn lie then because that is not true because if you're in the hall of fame you're among the elite to ever play the game whether you have a ring or not and that's the why you play a game you don't give us again. Hall of fame hall of fame comes after. Yes if you get in the hall of fame great hope. You are a key component to winning a championship. You take that all day long if you were chris ball a championship. You get chris paul on this after he win a championship and ask him on this. Show our show and ask him. What would you rather have a damn nba championship ring or the hall of fame. Okay great but it's not over for him yet because he'll go to your lakers if he doesn't win with the sons this year allen real quick just to piggyback off keys point here like he's pointing out. That janas has time still in your opinion. Do you think if chris paul and the sons don't get it this season the championship. How likely is it to see him back in a finals again. Like do you think that as i mentioned. La is his home and lebron is a close friend and he's still trying to get that ring. There is great opportunity for a team that as we know your lakers could really use some point guard leadership. They were missing that along with of course health. What an addition he would be and do it. I why not. Let's not speculate because we still have game tonight. So let's focus on it gained food tonight. Who do you think is going to be the most important player in tonight's game between the bucks and the signs. It has to be honest even though he has a knee issue going on. When you think about twenty points on a bad knee on a bad will the milwaukee bucks don't have what the phoenix suns have in chris..

"Had them by seven. This game should have been decided by twenty but of course the suns lead up. They didn't let up by like midway through the third way to third some points at twenty point lead and they brought it down for like nine. Think the suns lead up. I really finally believe that our yelling at the tv tablet. or however. you're watching it. Even what we said in maybe one or both of the previous matchups with the bucks. We've been screaming at our respective devices. Mike budenholzer will you please move jaanus to the five marlins had a five coming. It was so clear. It was like clear as day monty williams says. Hey you know what before i say that member and a waterboy when the kicker was like you know i'm going to say not gonna listen i'm gonna say bish bish i s h ellen b. i. s. h. city i to lose my bish rights. Who's my bish os my bitch. There's my bitch. I felt like the sun's did that all night long. It's very unfortunate and rick lopez. Bobby portis mr. Connelly mr forbes. I'm not calling you bishops as men but you were the delegated of the night. They weren't going after janas they weren't going to have to p j tucker they weren't going after middleton they weren't going after drew holiday they were going after four bishops and a pod. I called him tucker a little bit too. They take it very rare. It was defending dan. That's what happened. It was so rare it was like we want we like ric flair. Said we want you. Oh after what happened to brook lopez all night. Nah fail. i'll good. I'm just gonna defend so over here in cut your can handle this. They were moving out of to the corner and is like you know what the heck right so janas actually had a much better night on the free throw line seven for twelve despite all the county. He started to make them when they were counting up the ten by the way i said i don't like how county maybe it helped him breathe a little bit again. The problem is when he's about to actually like pull up to shoot it. He hesitates when he hesitates. He's thinking about it and where he's there that's why he misses but what how. He had a flow through with the shah. Even three point shot the first one was horrible but the second one was so.

"Post podcast. I am your co host. Michael schwartz. I am sitting right outside of staple center the scene of the crime last night for the first time in twenty eight years. The phoenix suns advanced to the nba finals. And i've got with me. Hey zach lowe welcome aboard zach my schwartz. I give you the intro. Because you are the most die-hard phoenix suns fan. I know this is your day to. Phoenix suns are in the nba finals. They just clinched at the staple center. Chris paul played basically a perfect basketball game at career high in the playoffs. Forty-one points what what did you do after the game. What is did you sleep. What is life like for you. Yeah have i had an early call for jump today. So i didn't get a terribly a large amount of sleep. But you know what i think. You gotta wait to celebrate. Celebrate their still former winds to get zach. They've been here before twice before they have never won. The final step won the championship. So i'm jubilant it's just been such an incredibly fun season. I think these are the best kind of seasons where you think you think they're going to be good kind of like. Oh four or five at the suns. You have a hunch that they're going to be a lot better than most other people think but never did you think you'd be. They'd be this good. What is your exact title at espn. I'm a senior researcher senior researcher. So every time i go to los angeles for the jumper when i used to. I didn't see you last time. i don't think because you know. The pandemic is screwed. Everything up euro were always talking sons and they always have a losing record. And you're always so tell me what you think about eight and is he going to be this good. That you're always so optimistic. And i felt almost pity for you during the during the down years. So i am thrilled for you. And your suns fan brethren. What did you do anything. Did you go for a beer after the game did you call your family was that you wanted to make. Yeah i celebrated with my dad. Because we've been longtime suns fans i know. He cracked open a beer that he'd been waiting for for this day. Not exactly chuck with the fellas like a lot of our suns fan brethren have done. But i honestly i just had a smile on my face the whole night just especially through that whole fourth quarter where you really knew it was coming. I think for me was after that. Four point. play with chris paul where it's like. Oh my god. This is really happening right now. This is happening tonight. The sons are going to go to the finals. And honestly when you look at the injuries on the other side of the bracket the sons are going to be favorites in the finals which is just incredible. Set of circumstances even from the beginning of the playoffs. When everyone thought the lakers were going to beat them in round one in a seven to upset. I did yeah. I i think it was like fifteen seventeen of are maybe sixteen. Seventeen of our espn experts. Had that. i i would. The lakers have won. That series of anthony. Davis hadn't gotten hurt. I have no idea. Maybe but chris paul also got hurt and you can already see you you. You already tweeting about it. Last night in defensive you can already see the diminishment diminishment the diminishing of the sun's path to the finals with law. Murray's her will barton was hurt. Anthony davis was hurt. Now they get the clippers and collides hurt. But chris paul did was hurt and then didn't look like himself when he came back cam johnson. Who was i mean. I was talking to clippers. People between games five and six. They're like absolutely love with cam. Johnson as a player. He thought he's been tremendous the whole series. He misses last night's game and look. The injuries are way worse than they've been in most playoffs in terms of the caliber of players in the number of them. But you can only play the teams in front of you and look the sun's just rolled through the lakers. When anthony davis got her didn't squeak by the nuggets. They swept their ass right out of the playoff sons and four sons before. It's like if you if you ended the clippers series got tough but you know they won. Four two and yeah. They could've lost a couple of close games. But you know what could've would've should've they won them. The value worked so they've got four playoff losses and once those injuries hitting the lakers and then the nuggets were not whole they just obliterated those teams like it wasn't it wasn't like they eked by and you thought well if this guy was healthy clearly. That's a win. they just rolled. Yeah and i just absolutely hate this. Asterik talk i wanna put a complete end to it and if there's any team any fan base that you're going to try to throw it out. It can't be the sons. i mean you go back. Oh five joe. Johnson breaks his face. Oh six out for all but three games than raja bell hurts is i believe calf in the west finals. Oh seven of course we all know amari. Boris diaw leaving the bench. I still feel like the sons were the best team in six or seven and should have won that championship. So if you're gonna talk to any fan base. Definitely not the sun's about this a banners fly forever and i just feel like you can nitpick every season with the warriors of one in two thousand nineteen of kevin durant was completely healthy. Probably but we never know and he so i think you can't. You can't go back and do that. Diminishes the title and honestly in twenty years if the sun's do in the championship four more hard games. I certainly don't want to put anything ahead. But if they win this championship. I'm going to celebrate it like nobody was injured. It doesn't it doesn't matter it just doesn't we're going to talk about all the heartbreaks for a little bit. You and i did a podcast. When they went eight. Knowing the bubble last year we went through there there. I mean you couldn't even replicate how crazy their post. steve nash. path of team building is all the all zags all the trades at went bad all the pixel one right all. We'll talk a little bit about that but let's start at the beginning. How old were you in. Nineteen ninety-three. I was seven years old young. And you bet will scottsdale kid. Do you remember those finals. And that absolutely. I remember it clearly. That was my first by sports heartbreak. I wasn't really a sports fan until i'm sure you remember. Westfall guarantees series in the first round. Sons were the one seed. They fell down to oh back in the best of five era. Paul westphal said they're gonna go ahead win to in la and come back on sunday and win game five in everyone's going to say what a great series it was the whole city. Shut down for that game five. So i remember vividly watching that over time and i was hooked from their barkley. Had the big jumper in the semis over david robinson to win that series tough game seven against the sonics and the west finals and then of course michael jordan had one of his vintage performances in the ninety three finals. Capped by john. Paxson steak right through my heart with the game. Winning three and i still feel cage i may have been fouled on the last second. Play on the other end. So yeah i as you can see. I remember ninety-three quite well. So i was ten years older than you. I guess i was fifteen sixteen in nineteen ninety-three so i remember watching the games live and you know god knows how many basketball gets watch you. Forget the detail so during the last dance you know i sort of turn..

"Don't know i would say ninety. Your is one hundred seven while the phoenix suns scored fifty points first quarter and fifty cent points in the second quarter a. I think it was against denver. Nuggets be de gets up. The mind is just keep getting bulldoze massias. they're already bad alexa bliss team. If i'm not mistaken. Alex english big score. But yes so. That's a little bit of effort and speaking of the phoenix. We need they duster captor. A fussy did the best out of the has defeated. The jazz i think. What is our prime focus for the play. Also mattila still getting number. One seeded the best last after the north making the blast. Having not made the playoffs for a long now. I i forgot about the last time. The playoffs two thousand. I don't even know what they're nine. Probably the son samantha. Startup steve steve things so he restored alone at my main man. Langston galloway now. Occupies fussed bill west. I mean i hope. He's he's I'm just a little bit bill. Go talk about the you know. Phoenix suns david. Book off time is the playoffs. Cpt continues his legacy of uplifting the teams at least you know i think this must be the fuster that he is part of the no. No no i think the houston rockets is awesome and he was dead with harden. Not the almost beat the beatable. I i know you're you respond. Can you talk a little bit. Both how what kind of kindnesses and maybe even a little bit about his mvp conventions. Yeah i mean big fan of spoil He's you know be argued. This anyalysts put us broker. Bogus spallina was responsible. Westbrook i think this is just kind of an old school point. Guard something that. I prefer Floor gender who who makes everybody around him better all the time And it also actually very very good scorer very efficient scorer i think he has the highest number of field goals in the in the dwindling mid-range as well as normally highest number defeatable the highest number of attempts anfield percentage obviously So yeah i mean i. It's unfortunate that he hasn't won. And also i think You know hopefully hopefully they. They do well in the playoffs. And maybe could be a surprise winner. They could be. Because i'm looking for a look at it. You know the lakers haven't hired develop clippers are good but still is injured at this point And then you have the nuggets and the jazz and nuggets. Don't jump marie so they don't really have a scorer as so you only have you by jazz. That kind of has a a team that has played for a long time has been successful. has all the weapons against the phoenix suns And they just recently defeated the phoenix. So are the best. I feel very strongly for the phoenix. Having a good shot of commuter west and then in the east depending on who how east. I think how healthy the nets boy. That i think. That's like the tilling. From james. I believe is gonna on hasn't come back from that injury. I'm sure he'll he's just waiting he doesn't want to be. I think they sort of have the you know. Either they'll be. I don't think it makes it captured the fussy eater. No no they disqualified qualified but not captured of us. Still some ten games. I think than fifteen games left. Yeah i think so more or less so you know the aggressive was basically. You'll get steam. You know that they're The maximum that they can do is get to the playoffs without the memory. And unless adam gordon shows up which i mean i think i personally think that this is a sign sign. This is like a time. Where i'm going to be like the momma is gone. I'm gonna get more shots because his shorts that are up for grabs that embiid as the person who can take the shots of it for me. I think Given that day did bring him to be a big score. I think he should be able to do it. But i don't think the nuggets gonna go much for like they were going to last year. Thinks that's what i feel. Do you think there's a case for as most valuable player. I mean best. It's not maybe not the best of the best team but best team. And he's the only like notable edition last year. Steve visited not make the playoffs. Yeah yeah it took up. You know i think that If if you'll get steam was not doing this well And if you're not playing such level i think spargo's the second i think is what number do for me Or but embiid rankings. It's It's a you'll get embiid yannis and secrecy. But it's i think it's oxidant agassi. We should retire because is much more difficult to have been consistent than showing the only only knock on obviously that he doesn't score that many points and saw ethnically that makes him not the most valuable terms of points scored like he's not the top scoring team But then on. Top of allegation steve. Nash has to these from phoenix points per game. Yeah yeah so the Similar kind of tajik. Three very high. Were you know any if you look at who steve master set under discount Says that could do everything. And it's kind of similar to phoenix suns right now. So i i wouldn't be i wouldn't be mad Gets yup. I mean as much as i hate it because i want. I wouldn't be reminding. The nuggets side was bought number but Four but not by broadway huge martha by one almost on december three th. Yeah because you'll get because the nuggets had a very very bad start like almost like often not even number four and half a game behind the clippers. Yeah and six games. I'm of the lakers. Who would yeah the lakers that they've been losing. Yeah but i did not. Do you notice that your prediction of the hawk actually came out to be through. Somehow i know i tell you. Want okay in the beginning of the season. I said if not great they did harvard. Okay and then. I was like oh my god. This is what's happening i event on the hoop.

"The g. league and there's not allowed to notoriety. There people are watching you and it really forces you to focus on what's important and if you wanna have a long career then you better have a a lot of substance to your game and your personality your character and 'cause it's going to be a lot of highs and lows you're going to have the the moments where you you make spectacular place and and you get a lot of attention and you're gonna have twice as many moments where nothing happens. Don't move the needle at all. You just show up and do work every single day but being able to develop that consistency is what pays off over time. You know and i think jalen came into the league with with supernatural athletic ability. In the way can jump in ill. It's like all of us every time you change levels it takes out. It's an eye opener to what else you need to add to your game in your routines and your habits to sustain at a new level. And that's what he's in the process of learning and developing right now which is He's on his way. It's great to hear that at and how players can navigate that thinking about that mental side. I was curious to ask you about champions swift which is a program. You've been developing recently. And what made you realize that. There was something missing in the mental side of the game to go all in on that. When i moved from the video room into player development role with the phoenix suns Let started working with more players The players i started working with were under the of the rotation guys ten day. Contract guys And we were trying to figure out ways to trying to help them crack the rotation get meaningful minutes and be impactful in those minutes on the nba. You don't have a lot of Practice time so they're doing a lot of individual workouts in small group workouts. And so i found i found to kind of missing pieces for those guys to try to crack the rotation one. How do we get what. They're learning in those individuals to apply to the game setting and then to when the lights come on. How do you make all that hard work pay off..

The album thousand sons is obviously the next step in the band's progression in the liner notes for the album. The Band wrote quote Oppenheimer's words resonate today, not only for their historical significance, but for their emotional gravity, so to a thousand suns grapples with the personal cycle of pride, destruction and regret in life like in dreams, this sequence is not always linear and sometimes trooper Moore's penetrates the devastating cycle, the hope of course springs from the notion that the possibility of change.
