"Being great. we dropped the first game now. We absolutely have to split this because we lost the first two against phillies. No now you go into today. You're facing the phillies in a bullpen. Game you got a guy who has some major league experience starting the game for you. You got a couple of guys who were putting the charge into the ball. Yesterday swing freely. You know what you're going up against you know what the deal is. You know that you know that you have some guys coming back and they're gonna fortify the lineup at some point so it really does feel good and i hope the same kind of the same idea or philosophy can fix the bullpen. Because dude this this crew is just tough like last night you get you get a bunch of you get a you get a triple a. Lineup giving you a giving you a to three or sixty two liter. Five to lead. Whatever it was at that time. In britain three straight hits gives up running gets that double play. I mean am. I going to call that lock I i don't know he just throwing some good pitches but he mostly wasn't locating around. Muto hit a fastball. Preeti far off the played could've taken ball one but he actum. Yeah so i'll take it. It's a gr- maybe that's a part. Maybe that's part of the confidence builder. That's accurate needs. I really don't know what him in chapman going through. I i i. Don't i every single time they come out. I'm scared when they have to pitch. You weren't comfortable seeing chapman. Come out old old a six three lady strikes out bryce harper and then he them a frigging moonshot to andrew mccutchen. And then it's a whole new game. Then he came back and was thrown triple digits and struck out. I think hoskins indeedy gregoria. So yes he ended the game on a high note for sure with three ks..

"On everything we saw on tuesday and on sunday Similar looking games slightly. Different outcomes you know one was a blowout against the stupid awful red sox in one was You know what ended up being somewhat of a squeaker against the phillies berlin because the phillies kept punching back Yankees bullpen waited out of a lot of problem areas. There were many opportunities late in that game. Where a lesser version of the yankees yankees team going through slum certainly would have blown the lead. Many of those leads were quite global. Never got blown pretty cool Yeah we're on a day on game five today of this new era The yankees were forced to do this. The it's not by choice. That greg alan and estevan flurry are here That was not like some grand plan but it may be should've been we were basically saying everybody was saying the lowest common denominator to the fan base was saying for months. This team couldn't possibly look worse with a slightly altered collection of people right the argument for making a trade and for quote unquote buying you know not making a blockbuster trade but at least buying a little bit is that you can't give up on a season when your team is like three out of a playoff spot in the loss column and adding legitimately anyone to the roster who provided athleticism speed defense lefty power like adding adding absolutely any available player. Who did those things change the lineup and might alter everything you put greg. Alan in he is tearing the cover of the ball. Hit one hundred five mile. An hour exit velocity triple on tuesday night the.

"This is the yanks go yard. Podcast with adam and thomas paranoia content welcome triumphant wednesday edition of the yard podcasts. I'm a wider belong side. Thomas karen day. How weird is it. That we've been yelling at the yankees for four months to add lefties and athleticism to the lineup. They do that. They start six on tuesday against the phillies partially by accident. And the turn around continues. Is this permanent. I don't know but does it prove how easy it is to fix this problem when we've been yelling for a long time about how no group of players could possibly look worse than what the already every day. Yeah yeah Yes make sure. Divide us on apple podcast. Google podcast spotify. Wherever you get your guests drop is a five star review along with the mail bag question. We'll be more than happy to answer it. Thomas karen day. Welcome to the podcast. It's now a three game. Winning streak azure will. Hausky starts on wednesday against a bullpen game for the phillies. That's going to be horribly ugly but we're riding high and this is now the most house money baseball game in a long time because the one three straight all very fun yet folks take the over. Today phillies bullpen twentieth. In the league asteroid. Your hausky hasn't thrown in a major league game. i don't think since two thousand nineteen So it'll be up to run-scoring today and based on this new liberation of the yankees. It looks like they're up to the task Like you said. Six lefty started yesterday The biggest key in this one. In my opinion. I watch game. Start to finish Was putting bat on ball regardless if it was if they were getting out or not six strikeouts on the night which has to be a among the season low for them Stanton of course two of those strikeouts. He does hit a home. Run to extend defy the to later in the game against a battered phillies bullpen But a lot of these the key for this game To me was Greg alan on third base in that top of the fourth inning. With one out in tyler wade putting that ball and play i understand he lined out but look what happens when you put the ball in play folks de makes a mistake or theresa. I don't know who it was the throw senior. Okay was it girl. I don't know they got a lot to do. Maybe yeah i think it was didi who through that ball to third And he was leading to third baseman together. I think terese was playing third. And it i don't. I don't entirely know what it was nonetheless putting the ball in play forces the defense to do something. They tried to double up greg allen instead throw the ball down the third baseline greg alan scores. It's tie game renewed energy stadium's going nuts New swagger on this team and you know what speaking of swagger We have the olympics euros. We have baseball summer. We got the major championships in concerts for the next few months in end. What is not in a wild hairy bush. Kevin pillar takes a strike, and that is so strange for the Braves to do it the way they did it full bore to relievers warming up for an entire inning. When you kept your starter in the game. Here's the Owen polar. It's four to one Atlanta bottom of the eighth, a pitch is low one and one. I mean they can do it. However they wanted. But typically a team if you're fifty fifty might wait until an out or two and then get your guys warming, the one one power swings and misses straight to the other part of it is. Why would you be taking sirocco out? He's been dominant. Here's a called strike three to pull our. He did not think, so over the outside. That is the third straight strikeout for young. "Seven three three seven sixty six sixty six we're going to be heading back to the phones CJ met. Mark Andrew, we will be taking your calls. Anybody who's out there on the roads? Just want to say be safe wasn't bad in Manhattan when I came into work here. But certainly see pictures on TV and it looks like in parts of New Jersey. They're really looks like the snow is coming down. So anybody out there? Please be safe. All right. Good stuff out of Megan there from the athletic, and I'll tell you one thing that really struck me about what she said talking about the change in perception towards Phillies ownership and I dunno gentlemen, Pete. Wouldn't it be something? Can you imagine? If your ownership where to go out and. And do things like sign. Jake Arrieta and pony up the cash for a Bryce Harper. And think about the perception change, the Philadelphia Phillies fans you have towards their ownership. And Mets fans, and I'm not saying the Mets aren't spending some money. They're spending some money, blah, blah, blah, blah. But last year, it was like signing guys. Like Jay, Bruce. I it's just it's never quite the that big eye-popping sort of deal that is going to make the fan base feel like this ownership is committed to win. Now. I mean, they saw the over one hundred thousand tickets and a day for Bryce Harper. I mean, they sold another eighty thousand. I think the next day they'd sold from what I gather. I think since they signed him, and it's only been like what two days or something. They've sold over two hundred thousand tickets. Yeah. And that's like that's the omits ownerships dream right now to sell that many tickets. How do we sell our fan base on our team that like this? If you said two hundred thousand tickets, and I thought I think somebody I saw estimating at fifty bucks. Approximately a take it or something. So that's like ten million dollars. So right there. In two days, and that doesn't include the increase in jersey sales, by the way, I thought I saw the fanatics said that the Bryce Harper signing. I think it was the also same thing set records for the single biggest pop in jersey sales that they've had I believe across all sports in a in that short a period of time. So when you think of the. Get on parking and on and on merchandising. And then brought about ads sales going up you sell more revenue and all of that. He's thrown in there. But even if just the ticket sales they're going to pay for his contract, they'll pay for his contract and break even on that before the season starts. It's amazing. It's amazing. The funny thing is the off season started. And you'd new with the statement that the Phillies ownership money they were gonna get Machado are Harper and the Mets never had an opportunity to start our God. They would've looked fill the problem for the Phillies when you say that and I give ownership credit is they put that out there. They would have looked stupid had they come up empty basically had to sign one of those two guys and they would've loved dumb. But you know, what? In hindsight, they get their guy. And now they look bold the courageous. And what was interesting is the thirteen year old is a thirteen year. The three hundred thirty million is that the average value annual value turn out to not be that thirty million value. It turned out to be less than that. And so yes. The toll is going to be that they're going to be paying this guy. What he's thirty seven thirty eight thirty nine years old. He's probably limping around the bases. And you know, they have to cut him or something. But still if you got the David Wright insurance policy, maybe they get the insurance on those years when he doesn't pay when he doesn't play. But. It's not such a terrible average annual value as it turns out, and I think once this new collective bargaining agreement hits and the teams now suddenly the players are going to get a higher share of revenue and the owners are going to be paying that. Anyway, I think this contract is going to look like a bargain. No, no question in thirteen years. I mean, that's a long commitment. But you're committed it's on both sides. No opt-outs. There's no more options is you committed and he's going to beat the ease a talented players that ballpark. That's also part of why I five is Bryce Harper wide wanna give their, you know, the giants were interested, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, the dodgers. I get it whatever. But in in that Bandbox in Philadelphia, Bryce Harper. He's gonna roll out of bed in his pajamas and hit forty home runs. And they haven't even aided to the bullpen Robertson. And they didn't answer you the pitching staff yet, which I think they may still Kyko might be poetry. But they might still another pitcher. They that offense is ridiculous. They went out they stole row. Muto from from remote motor didn't happen. They got they got jeans cigar for for almost nothing. I know. I mean, they were able to add so much to their team offensively. This is gonna be a deep team in an already they proved a Bryce Harper that to be winners. And we want you on our team that never that doesn't happen with the man. And if they don't go out, and may I would if I were them I would wait and stand around and probably buy low on GIO Gonzalez who actually thinks the Mets should also be going for. I think the Mets need depth to their starting pitching. If I'm the Phillies. I probably go out. That's my last piece. I get like a GIO Gonzalez. I understand Kyko might be too many too much money. He's in his thirties. He put it but a GIO Gonzalez. You get for pitching depth. But even if they don't do that, you know that ownership now is sitting on some money start the season. And if those young starters, don't have the Vince Velazquez. There's an all those guys if they don't have the promise early on that they want you know, that the Phillies will take a look around. And they'll be in the market somebody'll dump a starting pitcher and before the deadline. You know, come June though, though by a starting pitcher, they'll certainly find that that player in the near the trade deadline, which is what the met every year. They charted to stay sub five hundred. And then if they're above five hundred in it, they'll make that move. This is how you build a winning team you build you have a decent Pichit. Listen, they're not the best starting pitching staff are knows a really good pitcher. He's up there for Cy Young shore. They don't have enough that they don't have enough depth. But it's a good start, and you have to build, and I guarantee you they're going to add one more if it's not if it's not an ace. It'll be a number two starting pitcher. And that's perfect while they had maryetta already. So all you need really is a three. Yeah. Go out and get a solid three. And then a couple of these guys develop developing your young talent. But yeah, no, the Philly's a lot of reason for excitement, and if you wanna tell me right now that any of those four teams ends up winning the division. I could believe it. I think it's going to be a rough four team race. And that's why every move does count. And now it sounds like the nationals are very serious about Craig kimbrel. And it's not like they don't already have a good bullpen. The nationals prioritize bullpen. They went out and signed bear claw. They went out and signed Trevor Rosenthal who apparently is three hundred miles an hour after his Tommy John, and they already had Sean Doolittle as their hose are. So now if they were to actually get the nationals with those guys in their bullpen or to turn around and get kimbrel. Then you could make the case of the nationals. Have the best bullpen in non Yankees division. Kind of best bullpen maybe in the National League, and is going to be a stacked besides ballons. But, but I I gotta be honest. The Mets sit four from me. I I. I I'm just too realistic at times. But I think I see the Phillies clearly the favorite now. After the Bryce Harper. The nationals are to me the nationals. I understand they lost Bryce Harper. But to me the nationals are the favourite in the NFL. It's like it's like a sneaky little thing there with the nationals. I understand they lost Bryce, but take a look at what they did. They're catching situation last year stunk. Yeah. You went out and get added to very good catchers. Now, they have depth there. They were too reliant on on Stephen Strasburg. And you're always worried about him getting injured I may not love long-term that Patrick Corbin contract. But oh boy a starting rotation. That's sherzer Strasbourg and Patrick Corbin. Thank you very much. I liked that a lot as I mentioned their bullpen has always been a problem in the weakness. They struck early and added guys to the bullpen. They went all over the place and added depth and one of the problems for the nationals that they've had in recent years is that depth problem. And now you look at it. So they lost Bryce Harper. I know that sounds like a lot. But he didn't he was good last year. But not necessarily may be great. If when you look at an outfield that is Soto Victor row blazes. There are other high end prospect who now gets playing time Adam Eaton back from injury. We'll see how long that lasts. But they still have Michael Taylor as their who's perfectly fine as their fourth outfielder. Suddenly, I'm just saying, you know, so now road bliss slights robust slots in another top ten in baseball prospect fills in for Bryce on paper. I think the nationals to me are the most complete team. In the division who added depth and have good defense. They need a closer. I because I until they can close at a game. I can't believe it. They've had the bullpen was okay last year. And they and they just added a couple of guys Sean Doolittle is legit guy. Now you want to add kimbrel. I get that. And make that even more of a strange sure, but on paper. Right now, I say nationals to me are the are the team to be an old, by the way, the Braves actually won the division last year and the Braves actually improve their improve their team. I know catcher answered base Braves improved. I love the Donaldson move from the bridge. Adding Josh Donaldson taking a chance on a one year deal on a former MVP and as long as he's healthy. I think that's a steal on Josh Donaldson. And then they brought a Brian McCann home for for the catching spot. So I think and they had a lot of young talent. That was just figuring stuff out last year. So you can make a case I think the Braves should should be a little bit better. The nationals are deeper and less and the whole thing was like a circus cloud hanging over their heads. So that wouldn't surprise me there. And then the Phillies certainly a better baseball team. So. Oh, yeah. I think the Mets look it's always gonna come down with the Mets. The Mets starting pitching could end up being dominant enough that. The Mets wonder Conforto Nimmo going to be. Big question. That's a big question. Big question. Again. Listen brody. I love the I love the the attitude. I love that. You're you're very confident. But don't tell me that you guys are all in and come get us because they did the Phillies made moves he's he's made moves that bake. You look small right now. I'm sorry. And by the way, nets could still do something. Nothing says you can't go out and the that you have to go into the season with Jason Vargas as your number five starter hoping and praying that he will be both good and healthy. And by the way, unless you're gonna take away from your bullpen was like flu or somebody. You don't actually have a number six starter there. Nothing says you have to history says that we have to three says that we have to deal with what we pay for. And we pay for one dollars. Right. Jason Vargas either way. He made a great catch. I think he has three basis while he is my everybody's got your little your soft spot. The thing that you just can't help yourself. Fantasy baseball fantasy football whatever every year, you have like kind of that guy that draft even though he disappointed you every year, and you just can't help yourself..

"And let's look at it from each perspective. From the Phillies perspective, I'm not going to hammer the the average annual salary. I know some of them are sound big. But that's not that big. It's the normal baseball salary. In fact. You could argue that it's actually good for them. From an annual basis. The way it breaks down. If you're looking at it just on a year by year basis. The problem is the length of time thirteen years again. So if you're the Phillies, and you're committing to thirteen years. I believe he has trained in this deal. Right. Yeah. He's got a no trade clause committing to thirteen years. Look at Bryce Harper's statistical profile for a second Bryce Harper has had relatively down years in two of the last four two of the last four years. He's had relatively down years. He was a monster in two thousand fifteen but that was already three years ago. In twenty sixteen. He was okay. I mean, he was good for a baseball player. But he was okay. For a MVP caliber player in two thousand sixteen to forty three with three seventy three on base percentage. Four forty one slugging eight one four. The next year bounced back had another monster year in two thousand seventeen. But then in two thousand eighteen last year it was back to where he was in two thousand sixteen to forty nine three ninety three four ninety six. Two of the last four years half of the last four years. So what is it gonna look like over thirteen? Over thirteen. I know he's not old. He's only twenty six years old. But if we're we're looking at his twenty five year old season and it's twenty three year old season. I can't imagine. He's going to be better in his thirty two year old season and his thirty five year old season and all the other seasons in between. So for Philadelphia, I just don't like the prospect of thirteen years, even if you're using that as the rationale to get the annual payment lower. I don't like it. I like the approach that some of the other reports said like the dodgers I'd rather the approach of, hey, we'll throw more money at you. But we're not going nearly as long. And then from Bryce Harper side of things. No opt-outs. Thirteen years. And and I understand that they're going to be fans of the Philadelphia team. Or we're going to say, hey, we got pretty good value on them. And we love the fact that he's committed knee wants to just be one place. And I know there's going to be old-timey sports fans have say the same where were you law about he just wants to be in one place? Any all know, what you're going to want thirteen years from now, be honest. You have any idea what you're gonna want thirteen years from now who who knows if we're even going to be here thirteen years from now this should have been the first contract with the climate change clause. I mean, come on. Where are you looking at me like that? It's true. I just didn't expect this to come up during this conversation. Well, that's what happens when he is a thirteen year deal. That's the point. Who the heck knows what we're going walk third teen years from now. I'm never going to hate on somebody getting their value getting their money doing what they want to do with their life. Whatever it is. Not gonna hate. I'm not hating. I just don't like the deal for either side. And the reason if I'm going to sum it up in one sentence, the reason I don't like it is because it doesn't seem like it was because he wanted to be in Philadelphia for that long. Or? Anything else other than they're able when he signs the deal to put out the biggest sports contract in American sports history. And it's a benchmark or we got it. We we achieved our goal of that. No one's gonna care about that. That's gonna get surpassed. No, one cares except for the people so intimately involved in to me. It's like almost like. Going after the wrong things. Maybe I'm being unfair. Maybe I'm you know, speculating on what what people actually want. Maybe that just happened to be the deal. That was cutting everything else was earnest and impure in the pursuit. But it feels it feels so much to me like it contract that was simply about making a Mark for what the contract was. And and if you're the Philadelphia Phillies, I don't think Bryce Harper just over hyped in general. Yeah, he's not like, Mike trout or something. So you got a guy who's two of the last four years has had down years, and you're committing to thirteen. And if you're Bryce Harper, you're committing to thirteen when none of us know what we're gonna want thirteen years from now thirteen years, baby. Like you say it's all about keeping that annual salary down twenty six million dollars a year. This puts them totally in play for trout. There is a very realistic possibility. You could have it outfield of Harpring trout. Okay. If that happens then. Without question. I mean, this is their mindset they're going after trout, you think so oh absolutely free agent after twenty twenty. I guess you're begging real long-term play. I just on the surface. I'm going to judge this deal and not. He he grew up. He's a Phillies fan he's from jersey. So I'm not saying it's not I'm not saying that that you know in the room possibilities. But you know, we still got a ways before that's even on listen. Hey, listen, you know, and I think this is an interesting topic. I mean, this is what sports has become. I mean, I feel like we're always like looking forward. Now, we're not like living in the moment. We're just talking about, you know, where are these players were they going next with an excuse for all the leaks, which is fun to talk about bringing gonna be talking about what Bryce Harper anymore. We'll be talking about from the retirement home. You and I are oriented giving me my applesauce. Here's how we're going to play in the final year of his contract. I don't know why I went to that voice. I don't think that's what I'll sound like it's an old, man. Eight five five two one two four two two seven. What do you make of the Bryce Harper deal? I don't like it for either side to me. It seems much more about setting the record setting a Mark for a contract. And it seemed about getting the best possible deal for all parties involved. Eight five five two one two four two two seven. We'll keep that conversation going after this sports flash. From Peter Schwartz..

"Feels about the first eight years this feels about getting his age twenty six through thirty three seasons. And what the Phillies can do in that time. They wanna win multiple championships over that short term period. They feel like they can do it. And you know, they've got a really good core in place. Now, they've got they've got JT real Muto who's come over from the Marlins in a trade. They've got Reese Hoskins whose really stepped up and become a leader on that team. And and between those guys and and Harper and Aaron Nola who they locked up to a really reasonable deal this off season. They've got the core that. Can win multiple championships. So you eat those years on the back end in order to get the ones on the front end. And that's exactly what they did here. Absolutely. That's Jeff passan again on the Wilkin show earlier ESPN major league baseball insider because the Phillies are now one of the cool kids. Ridiculous hair Bryce Harper. If I mentioned that yet, he's a cool kid and dawned on me today that Philadelphia's in this era right now, would they might be the most entertaining sports city in America, not the best. The most entertaining. I know you guys are already fired up for whatever your favorite city is. But think about it hear me out. All right. We all remember the eagles Super Bowl parade. People dressed like genies. You've got players wearing dog masks. In the there's this. There was this likability. Love ability sort of bond with the eagles. That's hit everybody. That's why we're paying attention to Nick foles. We're paying attention to a backup quarterback because we love the eagles for whatever reason. Everybody loves that story of Philadelphia. It doesn't end there. My god. Joel embiid. I mean, Joel Embiid is a human highlight reel not for what he does on the court. But for every time, he grabs a microphone off it. We sit there when we're cutting MBA highlights, and we wait. We don't even start to cut an MBA highlight on the seventy Sixers until after we've heard what Joel Embiid has to say after the game. That's fact, when we're doing sportscenter on Snapchat before we will cut a single seventy Sixers highlight, we all sit there, and we watch him beat because whatever he says dictates what we're going to put up on the highlight. Because he is that stinking funny kids love him. Now, all of a sudden you had Bryce Harper beautiful price. I don't know if that's his nickname. But it should be now perfect here. You got Bryce Harper and all the charm that comes with it on affiliate team that was just incredibly aggressive unaffiliated him. They came out and said, you know, what we're going to win games. On a fully in Phillies team, they came out and said we're gonna put ourselves in a spot where we can contend today and where we can contend for the next five six seven eight years, but they're doing. What we say earlier. They're not even out on the Mike trout thing in a couple of years. Good lord. That's an attraction, that's entertainment..

"Sola tonight, we're presented by progressive insurance. And there's going to be a lot of conversation about thirteen years about what all of it means. It's been reported this point that it's a thirteen year deal. It has not been signed yet. But it's been agreed upon for three hundred and thirty million dollars for Bryce Harper is I've been saying all night. It means the Phillies become the first team in major league baseball history to add three skill position players in one off season that we're all stars the year before staggering aggressiveness from the Phillies unin deal. That's been on the table for quite a while. Now, something obviously sweetened the deal. And no matter what at this point. We're paying so much attention to the Phillies. I spent the whole break. Look at it. Phillies care me. Mean, I knew Phillies retro gear was good. I didn't know Philly's curry gear was so good. I don't have a favorite baseball team. I don't think it's wrong for me to just decide. Like, Bryce, Harper's got great hair. They're aggressive. You're spending money. I mean, I want to spend money on teams that spend money kind of make sense to me. And I think I think this is going to lead to a lot of wins. So for once in my life, I can support a team that wins a lot of games. Like, this is a pretty good a pretty good strategy and I can buy Harper jersey. And for once it's going to be good for thirteen years. I still got that Khalil Mack. Jersey sitting in my closet, forcing tears returned here. Derek Carr jersey. Derek Carr trade rumor come up I look over. My there's another one gone. I don't have to worry about that. If it become a Phillies fan. And this is where we are. And yeah, anybody anybody out there one a used Manziel Browns jersey, we got him or an Alouette jersey. I mean, we've got all the Menzel jerseys you could possibly want. There's a real conversation about the next thirteen years, and what it means to have a long deal long-term deal like this. But it's not about that. This is Philly. And this is a new Philly, and this Philadelphia Phillies team isn't worried about the end of it. They're worried about the now Jeff passan ESPN major league baseball insider was on the Wilkin show. He said a great check this out. This deal's not about the last five years..

"phillies" Discussed on GSMC Sports Podcast

"When that show was on dateline with what was his name, Chris Hansen. That's right. If you actually watch on YouTube. It's sick. But it's also funny when they get caught because the fact they try to get out of it in their excuses are laughable, but obviously this is wrong. And it it doesn't deserve any like there's no excuse for it. He can't come up with anything. Obviously, there's nothing he can do to come up with that come up with a good excuse if you like, okay like that is absolutely wrong. And the fact is going keeping on with baseball in a more, happier note, the Phillies are looking to Bryce Harper still looks like they're going. It seems like they're gonna offer in the most money because they have that to spend. And if maternal goes to Chicago like they don't expect to get both Machado and Harper put they honestly could probably afford them. They're luxury tax. They might break. Delivery tags like make it pretty expensive. But the fact is they could afford both Harper and Machado, but it. Would be fairly high price for two players of that calibre and with the eight year dealers. Chicago White Sox have offered Chato. It looks like it seems like he might be going into the White Sox. But but we don't know it's x amount of money. We don't know how much money in actually is. But it is interesting thing about when you're looking at Kice, there's still they're still I don't think Harper's been offered anything yet. Like, they're just been like, they're still in talks, and how many it's been let's see it's been since November's we've been talking about this. And we're gene weren't won't. We're in the middle of January. And that's a series. I that's what we were talking about a while ago was the sleigh snail like pace of free agency. And that major league baseball with the bigger, sinus. Because if this was the NFL, this was the NBA, we would already see assigning by now, it'll be huge contract and all that. But we've seen one offer for an undisclosed amount of money from Chato. That's it. And I don't know he still Yankees. I could see Harper still trying to dodgers, but a looks but find a make a guess this eight year deal seems like it's going to go to Machado for Chicago. If non he's probably going to New York and for Harper, it's either them or the the Phillies the dodgers. And I think the Phillies going to offer a bunch more money than the dodgers are. So I I truly believe that white talks and Phillies that take those two top players because the fact that it just seems like it's what's about to go down. And I think the dodgers and the Yankees have a very high luxury tax if they signed one of these guys, I know I know the dodgers go to in that trade to the reds as well as Matt camp. But again, the Phillies I think can offer in the most money without as much repercussion. But the luxury tax as if the dodgers did or the did. But I can. Still see Machado golden the Yankees. But honestly, it's probably Chicago White Sox. The Chicago Cubs Madden has said that there's no chains. Harper's going Chicago Cubs were one of the options for Harper. But it looks like that's not gonna happen. But we're gonna take another short break. But when we get back, we'll talk it anything else, then he's talked round the world of sports, and we write back right after this..
