"I think you forgot all about philip. Watching his first few carries he just runs downhill can move the farm. I mean he looks like he. Looks like a prototypical veteran. Stud nfl running back. And i know it's preseason but you gotta like what you saw and you have some veteran player saying that. He's the calmest guy that they've seen in. Just bring a calming effect to the offense which is just crazy during this guy's first. Nfl action that he's the one bringing a calming presence. So it shows that the moments not going to be too big for him in. And i think it's going to really help him. Sharing the reps with melvin gordon. But what. I really like about devante. He runs downhill. But he's a guy that has the explosion to where it needs to be kicked to the outside. He can do that and still make a big play out of that but he can also work middle the field. You know royce freeman. He's really a guy who's just going to go up to the middle philip lindsey. We really saw last year. That the broncos only wanted to use them on the outside of or just mash up with with devante williams. You can do both of those things and that is going to be huge for the broncos this year and it also just shows that he can really be a bell cow back after this year..

"That's a good question. Because that the snap breakdown was 50. It was 62 38. Somehow. I don't understand unless there was a play without a running back because ah The Snapper gun? Yes, about 62 38. Then Royce Room got one carry. Those aren't the snap totals. That was a percentage. But it's like we're missing one per cent. I think unless one carry constantly percent is not strong, so just move on. No, we know that, but Philip Lindsey's the most dynamic player he's also leading. I believe the league in yards per carry average. I think I feel like that that I saw that stat or he's in the top five. Maybe that's what it is. And so Even if you want to see Melvin Gordon's a starter, Philip Lindsey needs to be splitting the number of touches. I understand if you're getting into passing situations that may bring. Philip wants to feel a little more because they trust Melvin and pass protection. He's a little bit better pass catcher, and so that's part of it. But I think the answer to who the starting running back is is it's still one a one b or one and one double A. But they trust Melvin Gordon a little more in short yardage on bass throwing and catching the ball, So he's always gonna have a few more snaps unless they're just steamrolling an opponent. You know where you're putting up 40 carries as as AH group for your running backs, and then Lindsay might have more carries in that in that scenario. Okay, You know, Wait talked about this. Last week, von Miller, saying that he was going to be back sooner than anybody imagined. And then I saw you post the dance video of all the Broncos players dancing at practice. And Lo and behold, 58 was in there dancing as well. And I was like, Oh, the ankle look pretty good there. I know anything. I didn't mean to cut you off. Any anything more from that? Oh, well know, other than every time you see von Miller doing something, it's encouraging whether that's being a practice without a boot, which surprised people talking to Cory Booker. Whoever he's talking to before he talked to Cory Booker to say the young. Good. I'm gonna be back in a few weeks. And then seeing him dancing one. We know that he's probably one of the best dancers on the team, not because we've seen stack dances. He was on dancing with the stars. So any any handle himself pretty well and then also reminded it just the physical shape that he has gotten himself in, because that's what stood out to me is like for a guy that Hasn't been on a football field. Now in whatever it is 10 weeks since he since he hurt his ankle, our practice leading upto the opening game. He looks like he's still in phenomenal shape like he was coming into this year. So with the news and it's weird because you don't want to cheer for An entire week to get canceled or a team to lose. Essentially, I think two games but with the news that you could have a playoff teams that needs to excite Broncos fans because That gives you a much better chance of getting in the plants. Right now. They're in the 10 spot. But if there's eight versus seven playoff seeds this year.

"Outcome in that game. Didn't look like it was affecting Philip Lindsey until he got his bell rung. I mean, that guy was gouging for yards. He's the real deal. He is. The Reald deal meant every time I watch him play. It's clear to me that he is the best running back on the field, averaging 8.8 yards of carry. Come on, man. That guy's that guy's the real deal, and then you want Gordon run and it it feels like he's a power runner, and he's going to be good at some point on short, a short yardage and golden situations whenever we get there. Ah, in the next years old when he doesn't feel like, um, you know, outside of that run that we had against the Jets that he's Really moving the needle mean it's just just does not feel right now. I don't know what else to say. No. Then you saw me on Belle carry the ball and you were just like, Oh, it just makes me angry. I have so many notes from this game. And how about this? The chief scored every way possible in a football game, they score offensively with rushing touchdown, a passing touchdown. A score defensively with Ah return for a touchdown, and then they scored on special teams with the return for a touchdown. That is the whole shebang there, buddy. You're gonna lose that's Ah, that's called a very well rounded football team, you know, and there's a There's a reason, you know. They beat us in every category. They beat us in every category. There are many world champions and there's a whole bunch of reasons why, and you know it was interesting because He's having a discussion with my son yesterday and You know when you look at pat from our homes who was under duress? Our defense was in his chili. The whole game. Our defense was in his chili, the whole game. You want to know what the difference is between patch Mahomes, Andrew Luck. Bachelor homes, just dusted it off and went back there and looked as comfortable as he's ever looked. He never looked like he was uncomfortable, even though he was under duress. Where drew luck a times? Just it wasn't plain loose. He was playing extremely tight and always looked like he was uncomfortable. There were some times where I thought, Oh, my goodness that looks like the Peyton Manning happy feet going on back there. Which, by the way, Peyton controlled. That was part of Peyton's cadence. His happy feet was part of his his deal his his bouncing around. That was the deal. Yeah, right. Drew like it looked like a sense of humor.

"Northern Colorado. Another edition of the whole show powered by energy rolling on and I had a plan for the start of this program but now breaking news big news usually changes that for us. So joining me on our I advantage hotline again for the second time. I've even announced him yet. They just know. Zach Stevens of dnb our. broncos joining us our broncos insider Zach my friend. They love you now they just. Love you. Wow. Wow. Pretty. Good on Monday because they got no love on. Man That was bigger than I could ever imagine. Yeah they they were a little sleepy from the weekend know. Kinda hung over on Monday feeling up to it but Wednesday, they start coming around they're getting excited for the weekend again. So they having you on. Man. I can only imagine what a Friday. We'll get maybe with more breaking news coming up if we get more stuff on Friday, we'll just get you back on start show again. Zach. My friend this was not the news broncos country wanted to see in a season. That's just. Decimated by injuries. The last thing you want is a Dui Melvin Gordon cited, for Dui, all this this could not have come. It never comes at a good time, but this could not have come at a worse time for the broncos. There's never a good time for this and especially right now and not only are the broncos won three but this was their bye week. This is when coaches are really nervous about something happening, and of course, you know put by weakened quotations but VIC Fangio gave the team three days off from Sunday to yesterday. He gave him off their back for practice today, and this is just what you absolutely can't afford end on top of that. Philip Lindsay is coming back from an injury. So it looks like he'll play which is good but I could imagine that the broncos wanted to ease him back in. So having Melvin. Gordon. There to be as one two punch would-be really good and then also drew if he plays you certainly want you're running backs to take a little bit of workload off your quarterback who's going to have a little. Bit. Sore, shoulder or let's say drew lock doesn't play this weekend starting ripping I for only his second time in the NFL. So you would definitely want good running a good one two punch with your running back then and I'm not saying that Melvin Gordon isn't going to play this weekend, but he wasn't practiced today. So that's not a good side. I can't imagine it, but we'll see but this is. This is so terrible in. So many situations first off, we haven't seen. We really haven't got a chance to see this Philip Lindsey Melvin Gordon thing take hold because Lindsey was hurt. So early on in the season so I thought Zach thought that was going to be a key to if you hope to win this game, you needed to be able to run the ball effectively you need to be. Able. To get that one, two punch but more than likely, not going to see that. Zach. One of the things you and I haven't talked about we didn't have you on the show in the off season. But how is Philip Lindsey I mean you get this news today but before all this, you sign Melvin Gordon is Lindsay going to be a long-term Bronco does he want to be a long-term Bronco? He wants to be respected and you know, of course, in the NFL respect comes in money and this season the Broncos were allowed to give him a new contract being an undrafted free agent. You can do that after your second year Philip Lindsey has two years. So the broncos could have paid him money. Now, I don't think Phillips ever expected eight million dollars this season because the Broncos have team control of him on the cheek for many more years to come. But you know they, they could have given him something. Instead the broncos turned around and they gave it million dollars per year to Melvin Gordon and and so there was a level of disrespect and Philip actually admitted that over the off season saying that at first he was frustrated in, didn't understand why why the team would do that and now of course, Phillip does everything right on and off the field and then this news coming down I bet it only makes him a little more perturbed. Yeah I mean you. See this and again this this move was so strange for so many reasons and again it just today adds to that because you have Lindsey, he's undrafted guy he's to me consistently for two seasons. He's your best weapon. Now Sutton had an amazing year last year but for two years he was you're consistent weapon and I feel like the Broncos have done the complete opposite as far as respecting this guy and showing him that they really care about I mean obviously he's in their own backyard they don't draft him they signed him as. An undrafted guy. So for so many reasons Zach, this move just continues to haunt the broncos in my opinion. Yeah. It really does and I mean everyone that was skeptical about the broncos Siding Melvin Gordon and then on top of that not giving Philip Lindsey a raise I mean all those people are coming out today and understandably so you know last year the broncos signed Kareem Jackson to a big deal and then he gets suspended the final two games of the season due to a a Dui as well. It looks like Melvin Gordon be facing something similar except under the new CBA a suspension for first time do you I is three games so if if He does get more than just charged with this and the NFL come down as a CB would say, well, he he'll be suspended at some point for three games and that I don't imagine that's going to happen before Sunday's game. So we're going to have to see how the Broncos and all this and if they decide that they're going to suspend him or have him not played this coming Sunday and so how would that Work Zach if the Broncos make that decision say all right we're not GONNA we're not GonNa let you play on Sunday, but the NFL hasn't made its ruling yet would that game count toward the NFL's ruling with attack more games on? that. That's a that's a great question. My guess is the the broncos would try to work that out with the NFL and I think the NFL has ruled both ways in the past on that. So That that would really depend but that's a great question. It'll be interesting to see. Well, any good news I saw one of your tweets I retweeted a few moments ago but aj boy noah fan I, mean, are we going to get some good news on top of this horrible Wednesday? Yeah, and that is the Good News Hump Day present some good stuff that there. There were two good thing. Those are the two names that you mentioned. We know drew lock was going to practice. So him practicing is very good but not necessarily shock but those two names that you mentioned Noah Fan practicing when I saw him practice last week he was going about fifteen percent i. mean it was brutal. Watching him out on the field try to run. He was going so slow. So honestly I thought he was going to be out for another week or two having him back on the practice field today is huge that that is a huge sign not now I'm giving him a big odds being able to play this weekend and then Aj boy I was expecting him to be out another couple of weeks now He his window to return from the injured reserve has started. So that means he can start practicing the Broncos don't have to take him off the I. R. Right now they can wait a couple of weeks but I very encouraging because I thought he was still a couple of weeks away. Now what we've seen in the past with Vic Fangio, though is actor player has a substantial injury where they miss. A couple of weeks they typically take two weeks of practicing before they actually play. So with no offense, the fact that he only missed one week I wouldn't be surprised to see him play this week with Aj boy a I wouldn't be surprised if he if he practices this week does not play this coming week but then it's back for the chiefs game. I'm really excited to see him back in now that. Guy We talked about last week..

Broncos running back Melvin Gordon cited for DUI
"Melvin Gordon just got a Dui did and the Patriots may or may not have cam. Newton. So good luck job go ahead. Yeah. Let's. Let's start with the broncos because the story for the broncos. A number one is we'll drew lock play that's number one but the story for the broncos. was going to be what would the rotation look like with Melvin Gordon and Philip Lindsey now, the question becomes is Vic Fangio going to discipline Melvin Gordon. Normally the NFL waits until the investigation is over to hand out discipline for things like that but that doesn't prevent the team from doing so so let's see if it does Melvin Gordon get benched as you know the old college coach thing he said a quarter you know does he sit a half does exhibit game I don't know that's something we're going to have to research this week so I would bump up personally Philip Lindsay on my personal depth chart if I had him just on the hunch that big could move on. And and. Put Melvin disciplined him. Somehow they're not gonNA cut him but like disciplined him somehow.

Art that's gotTa Suck Man Yeah I mean just like you pay I mean I wouldn't feel sorry for like it's your fault. ELWAY's almost dead needs a crappy GM like jump ship. It's over. We're taking applications. Right? Isn't that the and? You GonNa have to help me out here because I have a long history of saying I don't really pay attention to a whole lot of other teams like I'll watch the games but I don't pay attention to WHO's who and who's wear, and I know the big names like von Miller is out I know drew lock is out I know I. Know You know they're superbeet up but let's go through their injury report row quick tower for the game has devante Harris drew lock. You Have Philip Lindsey, who is doubtful, which means most likely will not play Jerry Judy is question which means most likely well played did. Participate on Fridays practice. However, they have also said he is a game time decision. All names I recognize. So congratulations thank you. It doesn't often happen, but it does happen, and then they have a list of nine other people on their on their injury report all of whom will go they will play and there's a handful people Bradley Chubb obviously is on there. You're anyway. But let's talk about what is this A relatively healthy Tampa Bay buccaneers team, not even relatively a very healthy Tampa Bay buccaneers team that made a marked improvement from week one to week two we expect a marked improvement from week to week three going up against what almost seems like a string of practice squad guys who just signed Blake.

"The two seasons that have fell woefully short. of reaching that standard I love Philip Lindsey and I love the attitude that he hacks super positive guy. and nobody wants to see the Denver Broncos folding it up after three weeks. nobody wants to see that. so I'm glad that the Broncos still feel like there's much to accomplish this season. but I don't like when athletes try to make the distinction between real fans in fake thing. real fans who want you to do well and route for you to do well. that's what being a fan of a team is about. they did your team. you are all about your team your life is consumed by your team. any root for them to do well every single week that is what being a real fan is about. there's no rule in the fan handbook saying that you must have blind faith in your team at all times now that that is certainly an admirer bull trait. to always believe. that good times are ahead but the fact of the matter is that it's not realistic. and that is fans that are starting to doubt the Denver Broncos in this twenty nineteen season are not fake.

"Up my whole life. So the NFC I just kind of wait to see who comes out, but I do like the saints. I think would be exciting to see them emerge. Brady versus breeze Mahomes versus Goff. Which would you rather? See? Oh man that that Rams chiefs game earlier this season was fantastic. Wasn't it? Seventeen. I loved it till the end could be a really fun rematch. I like drew Brees of all the quarterbacks left. I like breeze. I think would be awesome to see him get another Super Bowl, but from a sheer entertainment standpoint, but chiefs in Rams would probably the best match up in this game. One other Broncos related question. I had so this this CJ Anderson tiff that great and I had on on social media. The other day. Does CJ Anderson's performance with the Rams mean that the Broncos made the wrong decision in letting him go. No, not at all. You know, if you look at the way, the Broncos are, right. This very moment. Would it be nice to have a C J Anderson to kind of provide that one two punch with Philip Lindsey? That would be kinda cool. Philip Lindsay would still be a feature back here. The ultimate. I mean, come on. We all know CJ was was very serviceable. He was he was mostly reliable for the Broncos offense. But he only had spurts and they weren't that. Longest perks. You know, I in his career here in Denver that made it made you feel like you could be delete back for.

"But one player that I drafted really late. In fact, he was my last round pick. For my undefeated team. Emmanuel Sanders meal. Sanders got hurt. But before that he was a top five receiver in the NFL and fantasy football production. Incredible. Right. I mean. He's a good player. But he was kind of forgotten about you see was forgotten about Demaria's Thomas. Emmanuel Sanders case. Can we really didn't know how that whole dynamic was going to work new quarterback? You don't want a new quarterback comes in. It's always weird for receiver. Right. So yeah, he really stood out for me. What about you? Yes. He did play well with the new quarterback in case keenum, and all I do agree with that. But I think more the fact is the the Broncos kind of underwhelmed they were they were expected to on that team though that that was probably undrafted ended up being one of the top six or seven running. Teaming Philip Lindsey. I do I think we need to give him credit because that goes one of the best run run invest random x in the NFL fantasy football is I would say I picked Royce Freeman in the middle rounds of a couple of my drafts thinking he was going to be the guy. He killed it. Oregon. The Broncos had a running back vacancy. Royce Freeman was guy who caught the ball ran the ball power. He could do it all but little unknown Philip Lindsey comes out of nowhere steals job away. And he ran away with it pun intended. So. Nice. Yeah. So we gotta give him props. It's funny because the Broncos had a very disappointing season. In fact, just farther coach today in real life in real life. I r L, okay? I make sense you say in real life. Well, you know, I guess fantasy. I how you said that sounds like it's like everything is fake. And nothing really we're in the matrix. Wait are in the matrix. Yes. Worrell way. What's the I don't know? Man. Inception noise domes. So what other players stood out to you as we do kind of our season in Reno. There was a player on a team that has very high draft pick. And did some had a very good offense. Coach offense minded coach. But didn't get the winds, and that's George Kittle. Big time out of nowhere was the fifth round pick in last year draft..

But now he has debilitating hip hip injury. And he's he he don't so. So as a team, would you be great that he was a game or that? He he rushed his back to play for the team. Have you ever? Have. You heard anyone say anything negative about other people in? No, I get that Emmett Smith selfish. Did you hear selfish by the by the nickname daily? They just said they were done with them. They were done with him. First of all this idea. That guy's loss. I'm glad they didn't make the playoffs. Okay. That's me here. Here's what the NFL people. Think Chris Carson was the seventh round pick you rush for one thousand yards. Good guy. Philip Lindsey was undrafted. And he got hurt happens. All the time. He if it happens all the time. Why would somebody spend a bunch of money on a guy who hasn't played in the year? 'cause he's he's a game changer. He's that good and for people to discount him and poop. But everybody has a value. There's a limit like, you're good. But there's a limit. This is like when you go in you, you negotiate or something. Like, look, I'm good. I can do any shove. I I look I hear you. But there's a limit to how much we're gonna pay you based upon this time slot that happens in our business. It's happened to their business. And and the denying of that thank curt flood, dude. He ain't holding out to be a free agent. He was holding out. So he could like you said, so he could get a better contract. It was about him and him only and whatever he's told those offensive lineman. Whatever he told those guys about when he would be back in how he would handle his business. He didn't. And they were done with him did not. That's the calmer on why they went home and they're not going to the playoffs. I'm telling you car matters coming up coming up coming up next. We did see the colts go in to Indy. Go in to Indy. Assuming cocoa sorry. The colts go into Tennessee. The colts go into Tennessee and get a big win. When we didn't see was Marcus. "So in terms of where I'm looking at looking at match ups such as Philp Lindsey against the Cincinnati Bengals the Bengals. Our atrocious. Like, let's see like if if we're being if we're if we're being honest with ourselves here. Phil Lindsay would have been my top running back play of the week just because of how many yards the Bengals are giving up on the ground and in the air filled. Lindsey can get catch a dump off pass take it to the house. And he can also have run it between the tackles it take it to the house. He's that quick. So to me Philip Lindsey without question. Lock cash games and GP's don't care. I'm playing Philp Lindsey today. But the fact that spends it we're so cheap pairing up Philip Lindsey whiff Spencer ware, and I get to pay for Patty Mohme's as well that that to me is a win win right there. Plus, you can get exposure to Emmanuel Sanders as well sixty three hundred on draft gangs and only seven K on fan duel. He's even better play on Faneuil just because of the touchdown potential. He could. Have today against Cincinnati other guys you can look at in terms of the wide receiver position for and cooks at seventy seven thousand you got rubber woods sixty nine hundred. I mean, obviously both players on the Rams, but the lion secondary's not very good. You know, they keep getting press. I don't care about their Esley. I think that they're very vulnerable. So I really look at this case where you can definitely get good value out of the Rams wide receivers. And I'm dealing against the pats. You know, this one that comes with caveat, the pants on stuff on digs actually place. I think the past focused their attention on digs and let the do do's damage of the need. I don't think they'll let deal and beat them deep. I think digs. It's the guy. They would be afraid of deep, but if digs can't go, obviously dealing would be out of the mix here because then they can just rolled their coverages over this just shutdown deal in the tire -ly. In terms of other players, Kenny they for lions everyone's injured on the line. So as the last man standing, and he's very good. So I think even with keep delete Beck in the in the mix. He still has a good day in the office. You know, his team will lose, but at sixty seven hundred you can do a lot worse in terms of a wide receiver and then Corey Davis against the jets. The jets are an absolute mess. So Corey Davis is another play here. You can look at the likes of Adam Humphreys, a forty two hundred or Chris Godwin at thirty nine hundred on draft gangs fan Dol, obviously, the prices are going to be a little bit higher. But those are nice low to mid range value plays that you can go with that. I like quite a bit in terms of the wide receiver position. Tight end. This is where I hate myself because Eric brunt is gonna be one of the truck us plays along with Cameron break. I would absolutely tell you folks to play Cameron break because again, I can't bring myself to play Eric Brown under any circumstances. Braids going to run you thirty seven hundred on draftkings forty nine hundred on fan deal. If you want to take a chance with fair key, Brian he's going to cost you forty two hundred.

"So when it get to that just a second, obviously, those are some of the keys to the game. Philip Lindsay having a good rookie season is a multi dimensional guy. He's gonna present a problem for the Bengals. You know, usually I say which prediction in we talked. But I mean, it's almost like at this point is this gonna be a blowout loss. Or is it going to be somewhat close for the Bengals? I mean. Any other way to put the prediction at this point like just throughout the season. I haven't predicted like a like a big loss. Like, I think for the chiefs game predicted like ten point laws like last week couple weeks before the saints seven point loss on Denver radio. So this morning, particularly twenty one to thirteen loss. But every time every time I do that somehow like the things that I don't think are gonna bite the Bengals the but end up do. So it's completely possible that case keenum comes into town and throws three touchdowns and Philip Lindsey. Does what we expect to do? Any kind of is reminiscent that twenty sixteen game where the Broncos will seem so much clearly talented more talented than the Bengals are at at this point in time. And it's kinda like both teams, you know, they're like intersecting on graph. But going on different slow for the riot five and six but has coming off two wins Bengals off three losses. Momentum factor. Even though the Bengals are planning on kind of matters in the same way. The last week. So yes, I think this is a loss in I think now the more think about progress to be at least a two touchdown Lawson e even if Driscoll does does some good things I just think that the Broncos more properly built right now aren't dealing with as many injuries in just like that. The town's going to prevail. Probably early. Hard to disagree with you hard to disagree with ya in. Fortunately, you know, unfortunately, the team has just not giving us a lot of. A lot of things to be confident about in their ability to get a win in entering this season around. It's just been a tale to seasons. But we do have a call on the line from good friend Tyrrell to rally there. Good. I'm doing good. Well, good as can be. Yet. A may. Val. Four. Snob. Our the. Look at. Pay off. Game. Eight..

"This guy is a playmaker Quinton Nelson and Brayden Smith on their offensive line are both starting to me. They're both like assets. Whereas the Broncos have Bradley Chubb and Philip Lindsey who are assets, but who else is really kirtland suss. He's very the potential is through the roof. But he's got less than fifty percent. Catch rate. Philip Lindsey, right. Yeah. Philip Lindsey like is getting it done. What would you say about the Broncos? I know Bradley Chubb has come on. He's obviously they made a good pick there. But let's say they had taken Josh Rosen instead of Chubb where would this Clinton, and we get into different version of Josh Rosen because they wouldn't be encamped on one of the worst offense as we've ever seen. They didn't address the quarterback situation. And that's the one reason I think I mean Elway needed this draft and he really needed badly. But I still get stuck on these teams like the giants and Broncos that ignored the most important position. Yeah. I think I would have to save that for a few years to find out who Josh Rosen is going to be to this. I want an answer right now to this point sensor. I'm at west cardinals are not on this list. Because the rookies haven't really played that. Well, even though they addressed positions. Josh Rosen hasn't been an asset for the cardinals issue. All right quickly west the team on this list. That kind of intrigued you them. Rookie class. The assume when you did this you kind of went through all the teams, right? Did the worst rookie class so far? I like that to the Jacksonville Jaguars aren't getting much at all out of their rookie class. That's one team. Really some of the better teams. The Rams, of course, didn't have as many draft picks and they're not getting as much the chiefs aren't getting a ton from their rookie class. So I think those are like the ones where it's like, oh there isn't much there. The one intriguing team that is on this list. I think the Panthers who are now like you're seeing them hit their stride as they work in DJ more. Dante Jackson is Brian ball diggers pick for defensive rookie of the year. So far he tied for the lead in interceptions. So I think that the Panthers like they're being fueled by their young player. Retained my, you know, mocked mocked, but we were critical of mar them bringing back mardi Herni everywhere like built statues. Dave Gettleman, but they've got him into had a terrible your personnel wise with the giants and the Panthers. Has had a nice year since he's left. It's funny when you talk about these draft classes, and we have killed the giants, and rightfully so this is not worked out at all. If we just wait, though, if you just wait the giants, and I don't know enough about the college football seem to know if there's a star quarterback that they can get they're going to pick the best quarterback probably on the board or close to it. So maybe this time next year, they will have everything and they don't get any credit for Lucking into that quarterback because they're so bad at their job by point. I'm not saying they deserve credit. I'm just saying that. Might work in has played out for them. It might ultimately all work, right? Have Barclay and a quarterback they could build eight thought they were a nine win team. The fact that they were so wrong about their own team could end up saving them. The only problem for them to is. You're going to be compared whatever quarterback. It is. You've got Sam darnold plane in the same stadium for the jets that is an unpleasant concoction for giants. Darnold hits. That will always stick with them, especially if Barclay does that become a generational talent. When he hits well, the range of possibilities is they might find that quarterback next year in the draft or it could be twenty years like the Browns and the bills before they find a quarterback, right? All right. There you go. Check it out NFL dot com slash.

"Appropriate response. Good. What's going? Podcast chelsea. We were. I. Contact. Luckily able to make himself. Just gimme another Mahomes before we get out, man. Give me into the homes. I was shocked shocked that Vance Joseph. You'll look at this team again. And I feel like it happened. The Monday night game run game is working yet. They insisted on throwing the ball so much today. And it's like you watch Philip Lindsey it's pretty clear like the chiefs defense is struggling to staff. Lindsey let you you're insisting to go case keenum. I know it's not that simple. It's nothing simple. But but at the same time, I mean, I felt like I felt like they gave the ball inappropriate amount to the run game. I really I don't think I think they're balance was actually working for them after they were getting seven and a half yards per carry in the first that's what I'm saying. Why would you even like even if they stack nine in the box? They're like the daring Kansas City to tackle. And they couldn't do anything that was stupid by Denver part of its game script to though I mean that is it's part of target is the game script they're trailing for most of the game. Let's hear from the head coach of your Kansas City. Chiefs who got Andy Reid for your right now addressing the media after the thirty twenty three win over the Denver Broncos. As injuries. Greek strain ROY does here. For example, left hamstring. Tweet to see how he does here. Then. Hitchens? Helmet. Ford. So nothing else on those things. Listen, all this. Football..

"I don't trust Pat Shurmur one bit. So if there's one giant player, I think it could be productive than, you know, at least it'll be saquon. But man, I just have so little confidence in the giants. Because I don't believe this playcalling one. I oughta it's absolutely pathetic that we're ready halfway through the season. I'm calling for a coach to get fired. Oh my team in it is first year. It's it's really pathetic. Darkhorse candidate. I would say people should keep an eye on is Chris Carson of the Seahawks real cheap pricing. The lines run defense is atrocious. Which is why they they were looking for help from snacks Arison. So I I like Carson at forty three hundred on draftkings the fan duel pricing is a little bit higher. But it's not that much higher in terms of. Yeah. So on fan Dula prance is a bit higher at sixty three hundred. But I do like Carson today. I also like Philip Lindsey of the Denver Broncos. I talked about it and three Cohen is also a lot for me. I'm gonna be like paying up for three running backs today and probably fitting in Todd Gurley as well. Because girly I mean is going to run you eleven grant on fan duel and on draft kings. I mean, the price the pricings the pricing surprising on draftking. Gurley is going to be expensive. But you know, I just feel as though you're gonna be having a win your match up with your running backs today as opposed to some of the inter players. I just don't look at this situation where you can objectively get away with. Somebody's. Somebody's place. 'cause I think there's just there's gonna be a lot of trough that's gonna result. From the limited slates that everybody's going to go off especially on the quarterback side. So I think you're going to need the running back to kind of buoy the rest of the team regarding tight end again is gonna be the crap shoot. I mean, you can pay up for Travis Kelsey. But I kind of look at Greg Olsen as a potential play OJ Howard the vans. Mcdonald's of the world. I mean, ten is just such a crap shoot that. I don't trust the tight imposition whatsoever. But you know, that's re- realistically what it ends up being. But you know. The end at the end of the day. I I just don't know. Well, you can do ten another than just try to go as cheap as possible and hope that it works out. But I look at Vance with thirty seven hundred OJ Howard at thirty nine hundred and hope for the best and maybe get in the ends up..

"Philip Lindsay is rushed for ninety nine yards up the middle of this season. That is the most in the NFL. So for those of you that are looking at Philip, Lindsey, that stature, what he's built like you need to. You need to compare more to Dion Lewis than you do a guy like Chris Thompson, he is not all on the outside. He is not all about receptions. They're using him as a running back. As a power back. I mean, they arrive and they're like, bring in the little guy. Well, I mean, there are players like that. This is the easiest come, but I mean, Darren sproles gets he's had opportunities through his career to run up the middle. Danny Woodhead was used a lot on. They see what's fifteen for seventy one in week one fourteen for one. Oh, seven in week to only three receptions on the year. So you're treating him like a regular running back to you, play him over a guy like Dion Lewis this week who has to face Jacksonville, who would you start in that situation? While I've got Dion Lewis a little bit ahead of Philip Lindsay, Philip Lindsey was my pump, the brakes this week, and that's not to say you cannot play him. Philip Lindsay, you know, he's in the twenty s for my ranking. I worry being in Baltimore. I worry about him being on the road for the first time in his NFL career. I, you know, I went back. I watched the film and I'm Philip Lindsey believer. He's a good player. He's not. You know, he's not just running through wide open holes and anybody could do it. He's breaking tackles. He's shifty. So I'm not. I'm not saying you have to bench him, but I'm not excited about this matchup. I'm the only guy that I think, you know, I look at in this game and I would say, you know, I, I would really like to take a shot if I'm because everybody here in both sides of the game is just a, I feel like is a one I closed art through like you could see the board, but your depth perceptions a little off who's who's playing darts close on one of their eyes. That's I'm too good at Dr. Is how you aimed on Brown w blame a lot with one eye, not when you're playing darts. You really can see when you have a sight or a scope. Yes, you go. Don't use this dope when you played all the scope. All I see is the bulls eye. I put the scope of and then it's just Allred baby baby. They do. I, you know, Monaco, but it's all it's painted black. I believe that's called an eye patch. That's what I do. Are you saying pets go real expensive monocle I spray base rate black because you wanna look, I want to be sophisticated a regular eyepatches. That's more pirate. I mean. Gotcha. Yeah, put it this way. I took the never seen a pirate of the monocle have you. That's when you never wanna be mistaken as a pirate. Just speaking from experience. This is the game in general with a little bit of light, rain too. Good defenses to mediocre offenses. I'm taking the under and if I can look elsewhere for most of these players that's that's Crabtree or giambra like. I feel like we've been on this match for long enough, but John John ran has to be talked about the. That's why I asked question Mike nineteen point. One yards per of that's his average depth of target. The man is just bathing an area hards and and he's getting target volume now last week it was a little bit different when he had the ten targets because they had to come back..

"Not necessarily an all season thing because for net should be back and healthy. You know a lot of times when you hit this waiver wire, Tuesday, it's, you've got to pick up chase Edmunds because deejays out for the season, something like that. This is he might be out this week. Maybe he'll miss two weeks. How jailed in is very temporary. How much do you pay? I think it. I think it's going to depend on your league and your team. Because if if if I'm thinking about, okay, I would maybe be able to flex Yeldan in then I'm not gonna pay a lot of money here. I'm going to save for that week where I can grab the rest of the year starter. But if I am in that position where I've, you know, I've got marking rumour. Love bell or one of these guys waiting in the wings to get back or if I'm the Leonard fournette owner, then I'm willing to pay up. I mean, I, you know if if I'm the Fornet owner all. Pay twenty twenty five percent of my budget fair to secure that spot. I wanna talk about Philip, Lindsey, running back for the Denver Broncos. Was that Danny Woodhead or is that Philip Lindsey, I can't. I can't tell the difference fifteen for seventy one on the ground to for thirty one and a touchdown in three targets. Philip Lindsay's performance in this game was not a surprise to those around the organization. Those that have seen Philip Lindsay all preseason long. I we need to talk about the implications of Philip Lindsay's breakout. I think look seventeen to four is what he out. Touch devante Booker in this game. If you look at Royce Freeman, you say he's the one. How do you not say fill blends? He's the one b right now. It's one eight one b and he's performance. The victory the way he played and the way he's flashed in preseason, they're both rookies I think you need to buy into Philip. He's somebody that I would consider investing in. He's a fantasy value maybe beyond real value to because. If you're a pass catching guy, you're not game scripted out. He was in high leverage running situations, but even still, this is a situation where I think Phillip linzie if you can buy him fifteen percent or lower, I would. I would be willing to spend fifteen percent on film Lindsey? Yes, I would not. And I totally get the argument for doing it. I mean, he'd rather have him them buckle eve. Oh, see, I would. I would rather have buckle, and so we discuss that. But when it looks like this backfield I think this backfield under Vance. Joseph is going to be a little bit of a cluster for fantasy. I don't think you're going to enjoy at least for the next month playing Philip Lindsey or playing Royce Freeman, and all of a sudden, if look if I've got devante Booker on my team, I'm dropping them, yes. But if next week he comes out and ends up with the most total touches, then you're gonna pick them back gun? No, no, that's my point. But by won't be surprised. I, I feel like this'll be a little bit. Frustrating, but the the tiebreaker for me in being a little bit less on Lindsay is just that I don't believe he's the most talented back there. If it was a little bit of a cluster and you're not sure who's going to win out and the coaching staff looks like, look, they really like Lindsey, which that's true. That's one hundred percent locked in verified if he was also the most talented back on the roster. I'd I'd start really believing, but I don't think he said that's apples and oranges for me. It's like saying we'll Chamberlain Wilt Chamberlain versus Michael Jordan. It's like you're comparing people cross positionally. They are completely like he is one hundred percent a different player than Royce Freeman..
