"Tyler Johnson has had a couple of opportunities over the past couple of games. We'll get into that in a little bit. Let's quickly take a quick break for station identification. The Blackhawks wildcats in the NFL play here on a.m. 7 20 on smart speakers say play WGN Chicago. Two shots on goal for Tyler Johnson tonight he had to takeaways as well yet a couple of prime opportunities against the Arizona coyotes a few nights ago, just barely missing on a few of those. That is why we went with him picking up just at least one point in tonight's game for our FanDuel sportsbook picks on the pregame show. We did go two for three tonight. We went with the under a 5 and a half goals for a payout of plus one 12. We also went with a JT comfort point for a payout of minus one 64 con for the Illinois native. He has been successful in his career against the Blackhawks. He was again tonight picking up a primary cyst on mikko ranton in school that made it three zero Colorado, but the under it was something I was looking at because even though the hawks going one and one to begin this road trip with a win against Nashville and the loss against Arizona, the only tallied four goals total in those first two games and with how hot Colorado was coming into this game, you figure, okay, the hawks can bring that hardworking effort that they've done so much this year, but it's still another animal with the avalanche and especially taking on the avalanche on the road. Now, Colorado almost made things very messy, almost single handedly going over the under on their own, but keeping it a 5 nothing lost tonight able to cash out at plus one 12. The Tyler Johnson point will just keep chipping away for number 90. A few other statistics I wanted to point out in favor of the hawks in tonight's game, leading in shots on goal for the hawks, Taylor radish, Connor Murphy, and juju all with three shots on goal, at least it is good to see that shoot first mentality coming from guys like Cara radish and Connor Murphy for that matter as well. No shots on goal for Seth Jones. So not continuing his play in the offense that we've seen him do so much. But I don't think that's anything to really dissect Colorado just owning most of the momentum offensively and I also think if Seth Jones is pitching in offensively, that means that he's taking care of his defensive game first and then the offensive game is just kind of coming with that. And we've seen him succeed in both aspects of that game earlier this year. Just not quite tonight. Three hits for Conor Murphy tonight though. Once again, he's showing his physicality tonight and juju our care of 53% from the face off circle, Philip kurashev 55% from the faceoff circle. I think those are two both very important statistics because those are two guys moving over to the center position as of late with all the roster turnover and injuries that the locks have been dealing with, and they were talking about on the TV broadcast, Chris fosters and Troy Murray, mentioning how the Blackhawks coaching staff had even asked a rather encourage fill of course you have to get a little bit more vocal from the face off dot just to kind of earn him some credibility at that position because they were kind of hinting at the fact that sometimes you'll get waved on out of there, but that doesn't quite often happen with more veteran type players, so Philip kirsch, with an opportunity to make sure that his voice is heard and provide that a little bit more. So 55% tonight, good to see that. Hopefully that continues. Same thing with juju Kara, adjacent Dickinson was up there earlier in the game, but he finished tonight with 38%, so hopefully more progress from him as well. We're going to go ahead and give our player with the most heart to Mike Hardman and our player with the most hard is sponsored by northwestern medicine with teams that take on the toughest cases at over 200 locations. What a game for Mike Hardman. He had four block shots in this game. Let's see, there are only crediting him with three. One of the most recent ones or the latest one came the third period just rocked him in one of the feet. And he was basically crawling over to the bench, didn't go into the locker room, stayed out in the bench showed his physicality, but then also got hit by Andrew cogliano late in the game. He was defended well by buddy Robinson and Mackenzie and whistle we can get into that a little bit more later. But man, what a night for Mike Hardman. Hopefully he's okay just a little bit banged up. Obviously the hawks have been dealing with roster turnover, but they've also been dealing with some injury absences as well. We did get a bit of an update from Luke Richardson on that earlier in the post or in the pregame show I should say that he's hopeful for Peter razek and Reese Johnson to return in the Washington game. So hopefully we can see those guys towards the end of this road trip before it's all said and done. We've got more to get to. We're going to hear from the head coach Luke Richardson and we're going to hear how it sounded from the ball arena tonight as well. We'll also hear from you three one two 9 8 one 7200 send us your calls sent us your text. I would love to hear from you taking the postgame show up to 1130 tonight. It's just I admired every time I see it, especially from a guy who always wears his bears pull over. Let's go to the crew on a hotline. That's where we find good time. Patty Boil another big win. Pat, Are you feeling I'm doing great, and before we get to Tommy's favorite hockey team, can I weigh in on the hot take of the day from you, Sylvie It's so the irony of Sylvie using the dating hookup analogy with its magic. When Sylvie truly was looking for Mrs right? He got married alley 15 years his junior. When Sylvie is looking for a quarterback, he lane the cougar's been divorced eight other times, doctor. It's not gonna work this time selling. Look, I'm always looking for a quarterback in their prime, though. That's the key. I know you're here, and if I can't find one in the prime, then it's time to do with what you could do best for that night on that given night, so young No younger. Go, Daddy, Let me ask you this question. What a nice segue way That would be is all four guys on the ice for for our favorite team were rookies last night. That's a perfect segue way and that really speaks to wear this team, the direction they took this off season. And last night we had eight rookies or second year players in the lineup. As you mentioned Tommy on the game deciding goal. You had four rookies out there together. I mean, you have Kevin Lincoln in that Yeti and Mitchell the defenseman. Yet Brandon Hagel's setting up You suitor, all playing an important role in that. That game winner and it's kind of been what we've seen now over the last 11 games, these young guys coming together given the opportunity of opportunity Collectively, I think there's something to that. You know, in years past This was such a set lineup that Take a player from Rockford. They come up and make their NHL debut or they get ah little bit of run because somebody was injured and they were under the scrutiny under the spotlight. And The rest of the line up was kind of set and we would sit there and analyze their every move, and he's just not ready this year. It's different because they're all doing it together. And in that game that we saw last night, few suitor who now leads all rookies with five goals. He had the costly turnover, actually twice had an opportunity to clear the puck on Dallas is lone goal. So within the game, you know a lot of times you see somebody be sat for a period of time. Certainly not put out there. The high leverage situation like overtime, but like in last night's game, Pew suitor Made a rookie mistake and then made amends for it and got the game winner. So that's kind of been the theme we've seen thus far on the young season, right so just to get this out of the way you mentioned three different times. He I you asked is pronounced pues que Yeah, like juice drop the J put a Pete AARP use How people suitor tell P. How did the Hawks get pew Suitor? And where? Where? What are we talking about with him? Okay, so he was the Swiss League and VP last year. And he had played in the hallway Chela few years back, so he had some North American hockey experience. He was in the Swiss league last year, had a lot of goals from 10 ft. And in something that this team needs two years ago, they did the exact same thing with Dominic Kubelik. You remember he played in the Swiss League. He was the Swift League MVP. He came over to the Hawks last year, and he was a Calder Cup finalist as one of the top rookies in the NHL, so they They followed that same formula. They've had a lot of success guys in Europe, and that's something that you know for all the the criticism that Stan Bowman and hockey ops gets. You can't really argue with their success in Europe from the pin, Erin's and cos you look now suitor. Kuba leak. Even Philip Kirsch, of who they drafted, is a Swiss born player, Kevin Lake, then was wasn't drafted. He's from Finland and spent the last couple of years in Rockford. So they've had a lot of success picking identifying players in Europe and then they're not the on Lee horse in the race, so to speak, that is courting those players. They have set up a plan where that those players have seen guys from Europe go over to Chicago and have success with the Blackhawks and get paid and the brand is is a big brand overseas as well. Oh, that all comes together, And that's why you're seeing success from some of these undrafted European players here with the Hawks in recent years. Should we start thinking differently about collagen is well, I mean, in recent weeks, we've heard King Talk about a buy in from everyone..

Meanwhile, came to center ice at the end of his shift will float the puck off the left corner boards in the hurricane zone to get off on the chance of real big saved by Lincoln, and you've just taken the lead. You haven't had the lead in this Syriza's As of yet, play with the lead for a little bit here. You need to make that big save at the right time and Lincoln and came up with it totally got it ahead over the hurricane line here strong down the left wing with a shot kicked out of there by rhymer. You believe in the left wing corner works the puck free, but it's ticking back by Warren Fogel of the Kanes. He'll carry it up the right wing side, flip it across the rink into the hawk's own far corner to Mitchell. He sends it back in behind a Keith, who drives it around. "Let's take you to the happy highlights of this one as the Blackhawks were able to earn a split against the Columbus Blue Jackets here and open the scoring 12.5 minutes in That's it. Andy and Mark your leader to 11, breaking over the jacket line to the right circle stops gave it a cane to Kersh. Any shoeprints cars Philip Kirsch ever was standing beside The Post took a nifty hand off from Patrick King and deflect Sit past Elvis MERS. Lincoln's 1st 3rd goal in the season of the Hawks lead one Nothing, but they're one. Nothing lead would be fairly short lived because Columbus with the equalizer five minutes later, Jack, it's come out of there and foodie at center ice from the right wing to general Hotline right winger. For Victor Allan and he shoots this car. It's Boone Jenner following up on the rebound Kevin Lincoln and made the initial save on the Ross Slavic shot. But Jenner was pretty much trailing Russell, a bitch tour the net on the puck, laid their gender pumped at it and put it over the line. The Jackets have tied the score at one, and that's the way the first period within in the second, the Hawks got back to back power play opportunities. One less than a minute in Unsuccessful on that when they also couldn't convert when Seth Jones was called for a cross check late in the period, Dominic Kubelik was called for a slash, and Columbus put some pressure on in the final moments of that period, but Kevin Lincoln and came up with our saving the game. "I feel really comfortable Dollar there and, uh yeah. I hope they can keep going. Thanks. Our last question for Philip Kerr ship will come from Phillip Thompson from the Chicago Tribune. But I'll ask you about the assists to Cain first. Could you believe that there's Lincoln's was caught out of out of the net again. Take take us through that process of what you saw. And what decision you decide to make. Well, I just saw the you know Mexicans going out of the net. Just try to put some pressure, got the lucky bones and give it to Kendall and me a score. Just, you know, just try to put pressure on the fore check. And, uh, you know, we gotta bounce there. Did you expect to have this kind of offense that you've had s so far this season? Um, I was hoping for it. Just, uh Scalpel against, you know this little but less. But I think so far. It's been good on just trying to get better every day and, you know, keep helping the team as much as I can. Well, thank you very much for your time. We appreciate it. That's Philip Kirsch of S. So we've heard from the Swiss connections so far in the postgame show and boy pure suitor gets to play with Patrick Kane last Sunday. And for a couple games prior and after that scores a hat trick. Philip Kerr, chef gets to play with Patrick Kane today. It's a goal in assist. I guess it's nice to play with Patrick Kane. How about that analysis? Try would like to come back and play with Patrick Kane. I might be able to get the odd point to you, not me. Patrick Kane is just so good and he doesn't miss opportunities. When the game is on the line you honestly want Patrick came to have the park. We have seen it so many times when the Blackhawks have been successful in the postseason. There's a ton of players that had an opportunity to make the difference in the game. And yet, it always seems like it's a guy like Patrick Kane that that makes it count and you can ask the Minnesota wild, You know, Make times. Patrick Kane was the difference maker in those syriza in those games. And if you're playing with him, you got to expect that But you got to get him the puck when you can, but you can't Just catered to Patrick Kane. And I think that when you look at Paris, have you look at suitor Thies young, impressionable type of players, but they're not overwhelmed by the situation, which is great. You see them playing with confidence. You see them doing the things that they need to do. And when you get Patrick Kane and you give him the puck like that for him to score a goal. Patrick Kane loves that as well. Oh, goody. We get to hear from Kevin liking and again. Let's head back downstairs, Enjoying my love. Listen to him Good. What is it like for you to have a game like this? A win like this, But there's no crowd there to enjoy it with you. E. I mean, that's the part that definitely sucks. We're missing. The fans were missing the noise, the loud building I've seen, and I've heard how loud it can be here in the United Center with all the Crazy pants and history that goes in the building is probably one of the hardest places to play a cell awaiting, so definitely Mr fans. But I think which is going to live with that for now, and do our best to to enjoy it still. You have a confidence that shows but you also don't seem like you're a young player. You always seemed like a veteran at this point. How is that happen for you? No, I mean, uh, I still feel like I played a lot of years pro. I played pro and Finland for four years. Then I came over, played two years in Rockford. I think that's been a really good development for me both on the ice and office off their asses. Well, um I just feel like it's the right time for me to rice. You know, I'll be waiting for this opportunity for a long time. I've been working extremely hard to one day. Get a crack at the NHL and I've been lucky to get a few starts here in obviously I want to make the most of it. Thank you. We go now to Phil Thompson with the Chicago Tribune. Fill your mikes active. You could go ahead. Kevin, We've talked about you faII thing, different types of experiences and rising to the occasion. What would you say would be one or two of those kind of moments tonight? Perhaps you know that that takes a breakaway opportunity would be something else. I would say that that would be one of those, um in a close game, you might you might give up the breakaway or just fuck might bounce and they might get a chance. So I think that that's the part when the Golden needs to step up and make the save and, uh At the end of the day makes the difference. I think only is the difference maker and I definitely won't be the guy who helps the team waiting and do whatever it takes to get there. Sometimes when you you find early success, you can get kind of caught up. But I'm sure you give yourself a critique. What would you say? You still need to improve on I think I'm still there's lots of stuff with we have been working on with garlic or Jimmy, just, uh, playing the park behind the net, communicating with the D, um, just reading the play when you when you're going to challenge when you're going to be more like, uh, laid back and just read the game. I think that's gonna Come eventually with more games. Obviously, we want to have good part control the troubling a lot of parks at the Met. You wanna make those saves and get the box in the corner? If you can't control it. That's one thing, but also in general, just communicating with the D A. Now we have a lot of new guys. I'm a new guy, too. So I think it's gonna only get better from here. Our last question will come from Ben Pope with the Chicago Sun times. Then you go ahead. Kevin Huh? Seems like everything is going well, But is it surreal for you even a little bit? Despite your confidence? How? How? Well, it's gone. I mean, you know, seventh in the league and safe person, and I think that is that Did you have any idea would be this good this immediately. No. I mean, I'm just happy where we all right now, obviously with the witness feels great. I think that was a big step for our team. Just do facing adversity and then come away with the wind. But for me as well, I think a lot of every single game ever single period out there. I just feel more relaxed. I get more and more confidence. Um, I don't really like to judge my game by the numbers that much because usually sometimes might happen. The numbers don't tell the whole truth. There's so much that goes in hockey game. Even even with goalie Sometimes you might make a mistake and that shows on the stats. But you might have made a 30 or 40 good saves and Um I just tried to live in the moment and move day by day because I feel like I'm in a good groove, and I just want to keep getting better and helping this team win..

As we continue on with the pregame show, we go behind the bench of Blackhawks head coach Jeremy Collison. And tonight, Jeremy the Blackhawks are back on home ice to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets. The team is too old and three in their last five games, taking two out of a possible four points out of the two games in Nashville, with both of those games going to the extra session, and you've accrued points in five straight games, so going forward what we look to build on from that progression? Thought the defensive game was solid in Nashville, their particular the first two periods. We need to continue that continue the growth. They're just coming back home here. The urgency pressure on the puck Execution with the park. Those things can help us control the tempo of the game playing the offensive zone drop penalties just you know, it's important. We start on time, and we don't wait 10 minutes or a period to show the desperation that we need to win. You know, one so far, Shots on goal are concerned. Well, we need to sustain more his own time in the offensive zone. Protect the puck more, you know, forced them to defend that'll help. Obviously, I think In the second game. They had a lot of shots, but the chances were Well, we're solid, so that's important as well. If they are going to get sone time, making sure that we're good in our coverage, and we're sorting out, you know that who has sued down there and then when we do when the puck back Being quick to attack and being clean to attack so that they don't get 2nd 3rd 4th crack at it in our end, which typically that's where your breakdowns happen. All right, well, so you're younger players have been stepping up of late. It's been noticeable. Brandon Hagel, Philip Kirsch of and, Of course, Pew suitor of all been contributing in different ways. How great is it is the head coach to witness that progression and to see the team feed off their energy? Yeah, it's fun. No question, and she gives you a lot of excitement about The future. And, you know, certainly tonight what they can bring. But looking ahead next month, the month after The end of the season. We're going to keep getting better here as we go. We got a lot of young guys playing and playing minutes Z gonna help us. They're gonna improve and they're going to provide energy to the team and competition in depth and help us get to where we wanna go. You know, the Black Hawks organization went out and signed a veteran center and Carl Soderberg. He's 35 years old, but he seems to be in great shape, and he seems to be able to add to the mix. He's now played three games for the Hawks. How do you feel he's performed Yeah, It's uh, you know, he's still getting up to speed. I feel it's been it was tough with, you know, took us a long time to get him in, but he's a very professional. Guy. He understands how to play and where he's supposed to be. Compete level is excellent. He wins. A lot of 50 fifty's. That size is nice to add. Down the middle and you can play. You know both special teams. If we need it can be in big situations defensively, So you know, obviously we're down a couple centers, and he's gonna help fill that void. Okay. It's the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight in the first of two meetings over the weekend, and if you know, the Columbus Blue Jackets says, I know you do you know that they bring a lunch pail mentality to their games. They're known for winning games with hard work. They won't have Patrick Wine a available after the trade because immigration issues but that's really not for you to be concerned with, obviously, But what do your thoughts about the blue jackets and about how you'll need to be ready to play them tonight? Yeah, We know exactly what we're going to get what to expect. They're very tight. Structure, disciplined team. They're not going to give you a lot for free to make you come through five guys. Whenever they can. We gotta be prepared to match that work ethic. Be patient. Maybe it takes us, you know, 55 minutes to breakthrough. We've got to make them work for what they get and be sharp defensively and then have killer instinct when we do have been vulnerable, so it's a good challenge their their team that they're always in the mix because they don't beat themselves. I'm excited to see how we respond. Coming into training camp. People around the NHL that run talk shows and whatnot say they looked at the black card goaltending situation, and they said, Yeah, Malcolm Suban Colin Delia, and Who's That other guy, and that other guy was Kevin Lincoln and, and his name lately has been mentioned prominently on a number of NHL talk shows for a solid playing goal for the Blackhawks. Got points in all of his games. Too old and too, and I know he wants to keep that going. I don't know what your goaltending situation is going to be like tonight. That's part of the question. But has Lincoln and Splay made it a challenge for you as head coach in choosing your goaltender. Well, it's a good problem to have. He got multiple guys playing while Lincoln and we'll start tonight. The Gold Tang situation is it's a microcosm of how our team has been viewed, You know, not not a lot of people. Taken us down much success this year, and I think they've used that as Fuel to prove some people wrong. And that Zagat to be our mindset to is we're gonna We're gonna show that we're not going to quit here. We're gonna play hard. We're gonna be relentless. I will add it up the end. All right. Sounds like a plan. Jeremy. Thanks for this. And good luck to you. And the boys here tonight in the 1st 22 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Thank you. That's black Ox head coach Jeremy College and we've been behind the bench with Jeremy Collison. Stay tuned, more up coming in the pregame show right after you hear these messages. This is Blackhawks hockey on 7 20. W. Gm. Different future starts with you..

"But I mean, it's something huge. Every game is super important. And you and Troy blocking out the clutter. See the puck, stop the puck, make the smart play when you have it, seeing what each of these guys has in finally getting consistent opportunities. Is really kind of what this season's theme is, in a nutshell for this entire team and Colin, you know, he gets first crack of trying to get better. Next time out, which is tonight. I think if you if you look at the two games between Suban and Delia Calm looked a little bit better over in his overall game. You did see some mistake's being made by both goaltenders. Communication was was an issue and game one and game too. I didn't think you saw the rebound control issues. With Delia that you saw with Malcolm in the in the first game, so I think it's you know a just decision there that they look and and every decision with the goaltender's is made. With consideration of talking to Jimmy, Wait the goaltender coach. So you look at the year options. I actually I thought maybe that Kevin Lincoln and what would get an opportunity just to see get all three of those guys into the equation right away and maybe try and make an assessment from there. But I have no issues with going back with with Delia. I thought if you picked out a goaltender that looked a little bit more comfortable in the net Between the first two games, it was Delia on Bill. See what happens. He knows that. There's no guarantees, and the pressure is on them to succeed. But you can't let that over. Overcome your mental makeup and for gold tender, it's all about. You know the mental side of it. How soon you could confer, Get a mistake that you make. Both Suban and Delia made a critical mistake and in communication one ended up in a Duncan Keith talent E. One end up in the back of the net. Both of them involved Akan Ke. So Duncan. Keith has to take a little bit of responsibility in that area to that, so he makes sure that he's talking and knowing that you know you had so much familiarity with Corey Crawford for so many years that it was kind of automatic going back there. You know what he was going to do? Well, you need to have better communication. This goaltender's So don't put all the mist Ake are all the focus on the mistakes that the goaltender made because that's where you look and that's where you point your finger at. But at the same time, I think that for calling Delia last year There was some disappointment in himself, Um, that he thought he was going to be the backup goaltender and all of sudden the Blackhawks sign Robin letter and he didn't have that opportunity and never played last year, And I think that that was that was tough on him mentally, so The way that he responded last year after just saying, You know what? I can't control this. Why am I worrying about it? I need to just quote and play and let my actions speak for itself. Once he let go of that issue in his mind, he was much better, and I think that he's in a better place this year to deal with any kind of mental Um, you know, complications or adversity that that comes up here in in in this season, just because of what he went through last year, and what he's saying is, you know, I can't I can't dwell on what happened in the past. I have to look in the future, and I think that's a great approach for a goaltender. Interesting stuff. We'll see how it plays out here tonight as always try. Thanks a bunch. Let's get to your final preparations down for the call with John coming up at the top of the hour. Up next. You heard us talking about Philip Kirsch haven't heard from him personally. John talks with Jeremy when he goes behind the bench with the head coach. Now we're really happy his camp all around. I think he's been a big difference in the last couple weeks compared to, you know, just viewing him and Switzerland and his previous, You know, we had him in the summer and and Hamilton and I think he's really taken a step skating and just being being assertive. That and a whole lot more when.

"Time for the Chicago Blackhawks postgame show. On the Black box radio network. Here's Chris Boden. Well, the Blackhawks open the season against the last team to win the Stanley Cup, the Tampa Bay Lightning and they drop old contest much more competitive night. Tonight. The final score of 5 to 2 is Tampa scores. A couple of late goes to pull away and put this one away. Taking the post came up until 9 30 tonight and we will dip in and out of some live coverage of postgame zoom interviews. With the Black Hawks down in Tampa Bay, and I appreciate Troy Marie's patients as we go through some Q and a with him as we listen to some of the reaction from the players and perhaps head coach Jeremy Carlson, by the time we're done here at 9 30 But Troy some good some bad to talk about now, once a bad but still areas of progress that need to be made. Let's start with the good because they got some offense from their offensive guys that are going to need to deliver tonight. I thought the line combinations from top to bottom or a lot more dangerous tonight with the help of, you know, a little bit of juggling and with the insertion of Philip Kirsch, Abou That looked pretty good out there tonight. Yeah, sure. Mike is active. You go ahead. Hey, Alex. I know that the result is that what you will get Detroit a minute, Alex to break it, meeting with the media right now, You guys feel that way? Yeah, I think we did way. Had a lot more puck possession. Uh, obviously still them playful. 60 had a few breakdowns there in the second. Go down three. Nothing. Uh And then in the third as well, when we need to score a goal. Uh yeah. Think way. Didn't play full 60. Is that gonna be the biggest challenge this season with so many young guys, new guys and getting that full 60 minute effort? Is that going to be the challenge? Um, you know, right now, it seems like it is I mean last game. We obviously didn't play that. Well, um, I'm dinner's on a lot, then. This game. I thought we came out strong. You know, the second period just killed us. We had to try to dig herself. Edible Hall had a few chances. Had a few power plays couldn't convert we needed to and that was the game. Myself. Misfortune problem. Early your lines active in Go ahead. Hey, Alex. You guys obviously fallible behind three to nothing for the second straight game. But do you guys like did you guys like to push back that you showed, unlike the first game Yeah, I think that's ah. You know, it's good effort out of us. But at the same time we should never fall down three. Nothing, I think. We gotta worked, You know, work part all all game and, um not have to dig ourselves out of that hole. How nice was it to convert on that power play really like 30 40 seconds into it and get some momentum. Yeah. So it's nice when you can, um, move the puck around getting a job and pulling in. I think we still gotta work on. Obviously, when we're down, 32. We had a few power plays, um, didn't convert. So, um, I'm still gonna be better. Exiles. We'll take one more for Alex Ben Pope with Chicago Sun times Your life is active and you go ahead. Alex after the sort of frustrating year you had last year as it nice to to personally get a few points on the board early on in the season, and maybe just set a better tone for this season. Yeah. I mean, obviously it's nice, but it points up, but, uh, you know, we're here to win games. Uh, try to do anything. I can't help. Team win. Um I think she got my heart and, you know, hopefully build some confidence and be good every night. Thank God that's Alex. The brink. It live from Tampa Bay as we start on our post game show with him, But I had myself a new analyst there for a couple minutes. Try so apologies for that. Right is I ask you the question. I know you had your finger up your mouth was open. You're about to answer it. That we heard from Alex. But let's talk about that offense, looking a little bit better tonight. As I thought, I thought the line combinations and and the debut of Curry Chef, Sure, help things out and made make the Hawks little bit more dangerous tonight. Well, they ended up having 35 shots on goal so that that's AH, Big, plus and You know to break it talked about it. Hey, said not a full 60 minutes And I think that for a young team that has some experience on it in experience on it that you're gonna have to deal with these growing pains. You make a mistake and for calling dearly, you feel bad. He started off extremely good. He was playing while seeing the park well and communication problem between him and Duncan. Keith Results in an easy goal to start Kappa on a three goal run where the Blackhawks just couldn't find a way to toe stop that, And that's where you you, miss, Um, a guy like even even Brent Seabrook, who understands the key moments of the game. Jonathan tapes in that situation, those type of players could be out there to slow things down to solidify how you need to play. You're asking a lot from some of these younger players to fill that and they got to find a way to be better in those key moments of a hockey game and not let like they're talking about in Game one. These brief spans in a hockey game. That really hurt them, and they again happened to them in the second period, where Tampa scored the three quick goals and just under six minutes, you can't have that happen. And you have to take that personally that the golden moments in a in a hockey game. The opening man at the last minute of the period when you score a goal, and when you get scored upon those air key moments, and the coach has to have AH lot of trust in that next line that personnel that has sent out after any of those situations. It should be very Proud moment when you get to start a game, and in the last minute of a period when you get tapped on the shoulder, you got to take that the heart that you're not going to let anything bad happen and when there's a goal scored, whether it's so whether you score the goal. And that same line stands out there. You gotta you gotta know that you want to have a shift. Keep the mo mentum on the flip side of it. If campus scores the goal that next shift, you have to come out there with the purpose. Of taking the momentum away. Now, I think it's going to be easier to do that this year because of the lack of fans in the emotion inside the buildings, but we didn't see it the first two games and again. Tampa's They're really good. Game. But like Alex was saying too many mistakes and they're on the wrong side of the park on occasions and Tampa's good enough to make you pay in.
