"Sale the National Conference Center in Bournemouth. There was an Democrat delegates streaming through these tools wearing their yellow Lan Yang. It's come through in corporates area and I could just see up ahead. Peter Walker Guardians Political correspondent pizza. Hello I'm alright. What's the mood been like here really really buoyant everyone you talk to you. They say this is you. You know my favorite lipscomb conference ever. They've they've gotten you leader. They've got these new. MP's like seemed to a new one every single week today's new policies. I think they're brexit policies election winner. They keep on predicting that if the polls says they are you there is an election they can get anything between fourteen and one hundred M which sounds yeah. That's what keeps saying that's their modeling is saying. I think hundred is very very very topic but you know even though that explaining policy as if they want to enter govern on their own in realistic to him reasonable chance so they could end up holding the balance of power and in much the same way I trump since conservative opposition very much as the brexit minded party they are very much remain party and this new pledge to revoke Article v Stop Brexit in the admittedly unlikely event they win. General election cements them in in voters mind you come last year. This is my very first conference. People who say it's different to other conferences and very much because Labor until we conference is a quite cool put in very serious lip spoiler third party. Have these strange strange kind of conditions. I do have Karaoke party had last night after famous lib-dem Glee Club but the all sing kind of statistical songs Ah Liberal Democrat. MP's people which is actually this evening very popular event and do you have to go. It's very apparent. Yes I do have to. We're we're going to have to go. It would be fair to say than the Liberal Democrats had a turbulent few years and twenty seventeen gene. They won just twelve seats across the country as a pro-european. Party brexit has presented them with an opportunity to more success in recent European and local elections combined with the arrival of new MP's. It's really reinvigorated and reshape. Philip downs say much the party conference gift shop kind of struggling to keep Deepak. This is a sea of yellow this at de Schelde therefore everything that's monks run a quantum should I okay positions through the every. MP You can get a Mug for them. I was I was talking to shop. It's very disappointed haven't had time to do mugs than NPR's yet. Apparently they're wasting LYTHAM central office to send the pictures over says no look. There's no service I'm Jay Switzerland. I think they sold out of Jersey mugs and they've been saying to you about the new. MP's when we joke with many of them on the mugs but what do you think people make all this weekend. Sanjay coming into party fittingly be Santa Birger are they are they pleased are concerned for the most part people live really really pleased because it's new empties and they lift off a centrist party and to be able to get MP's from both the left and the right is really really pleasing for them. Positively is everywhere. This conference eighth on the floor of the auditorium venture mean gives his maiden speech. This brings me to emergencies opposition. I know a bit about the opposition and it's in the meeting room where standing-room-only Feliciana Lisa verge of taking questions from delegates. It does feel like these new. MP's really boosting morale way just outside the exhibition fishing center and lots of good milling around here. What do you think about the new he's coming from Labour from the conservatives. I think it's really funny that some Jima Rats leader Conservative foty now. He's one of us but then again I mean he did run lead with the Conservative Party on a second referendum Renton platform which was bulls by did speak to some people who were more cautious about the party becoming a home philosophy. MP's is this your first time at this at this conference. Does the party failed different. Does it feel more exciting or show me yeah. There is a huge rati here rushing different people there's also the damage is people with all signs of different ideas. Sometimes the variety is hard to take in because because there are some quite free market-oriented people and they're the opposite like me guaranteed some of the new. MP's door joint sometimes the weekend or don't actually know enough about them historic records. You'll be welcome them into the Party and I'm worried but it may be the there was a lot of controversy about Philip me. WHO's record is questionable but I would be in a national crisis absolutely what people actually do meet findlay. He wasn't too recently a conservative. MP until he crossed the floor of the Commons enjoying the Liberal Democrats are the largest spoke to said there's been a lot of criticism of some of his views and his voting record particularly of his stunts on LGBT rights and an amendment he made to the Immigration Bill in two thousand fourteen so very interested to meet him and just find out how it's open going in the past couple of weeks conference. Hola Tory party conference was like stage-managed rally wasn't democracy in action here they're actually discussing and members on the floor and voting and and yes that can have challenges for for the management for the Party and things. That's well documented but you know what I'd rather have it like this. Then the way my former boss he did it and EV. Oh Oh the MP's of join the temps in recent weeks. I think yours was probably the most dramatic events is in to the party. Now you cross the floor in the Commons. Wall Lawrence Johnston was honest. Feverish Irish Irish are old and need watched. His majority disappear foyer is is he made that journey why did you did you choose to do it like that. I think when the whole prorogation business this started towards the end of August undeniably that accelerated my thinking the needed to be a you're just he's not doing this moment. This is not right yeah. It's been but thinking when I was watching got. I imagine you being quite nervous just seconds before you knew you were going to do it and then old the jazz and I wear unfortunate to wear I watch and I sat down next to Chase Winston about full foam and this is so after I sat down my my started to vibrate and I thought that was flashing. I mean I hadn't ever seen do this before I don't really understand my entirety and and I looked at it and it was telling me that my pulse rate was running at more than one hundred twenty and I wasn't moving which obviously is a doctor okay so I was deep breathing reading for a bit chart to manage my post seriously yes. It was not easy. It has been a lot of coverage of your voting record cord in the past and one day's news coverage. They've been coverage of of misrepresentation of my views. There are issues when you've been other party. You've been whipped vote for things. Do you think that immigrants should be tested for HIV or Hepatitis B. The country remind viewers was better that people coming into this country we knew the status so that they can be treated and they'll say that we could prevent further infection spreading and and that's not how it's being portrayed in Corson's drew upon my medical experience when you've been confronted the reality of a sub Saharan African patient presenting with an AIDS defining illness in general practice this this person not knowing that they were HIV positive advance so therefore they've been leading a life like anyone else without any knowledge if things. I didn't know your listenership understand what probing probing amendments are. Probing amendments are are not to be pushed to vote to. This wasn't about legislation. This was about trying to provoke debate but above all the motivation Asian was protecting patients protecting public health and I hope in Tyne enough people understand the head of the Liberal Democrats. LGBT group resigned when you join the party. How did you feel about and are you having conversations with. LGBT members within within. Ah Yes I'm having conversations and I had one. This morning. Agreed with people going to have another one this afternoon. Throughout all of this. I've tried to remain calm despite a genuine upset personally at being described in this way not least because I wouldn't want my patience to think this of me and you describe the last couple weeks has.

"Get i guys and we're going to try to come crypto show doing the journey of a tried all the tried his journey again other episode covering some of the things way need to guy through as tries as before we find success long ten and today so talk about a topic that i give a lot of talks on and that's perspective it is just so important to have him and it's not just perspective of on new at training for example and therefore this giant to be some bumps in the road. It's not going to be the easiest thing in the world. I am going to have the time to focus and learn this. You know it's not just about that. Let me tell you something. I'm watching you guys pretty much. I love fishing or i love anything to do with the ocean the outdoors fishing out some things it's just it's just it's just it's one of the made for watching sort of watching a show cold whole kill fish or dead fish oil economy where it is it's on net flicks anyway and the catching albacore some were of the off the coast of somewhere in the united states albacore these the cool the chicken of the sea and the catch vast numbers of these of these tuna and and the show is about that now. I watched that as my switch off tom. I don't watch watch a little television when i have time to watch television but i do quite lock it if i'm not fishing myself when it's horrible weather at the moment here nine cd where i am i will tend to watch fishing or what goal goal bonding show. We'll just something that's like. People outdoors doing stuff or good story. That is a great one great western. I'm watching it. The mind series godless land or something like that about very taught obviously but what point is this. I was lying on the couch lost lot. Well my putting my kids down. I was lying there. Watching this program and one of the captains of one of these vessels talked about his daughter now he's got two kids one's twenty and one would have been fourteen and i've got two daughters myself. I a six year old not gonna three and a half year old. They are a handful and that's why i get a cold fella frequently that when the story came it hit me like a ton hahneberg. I cried like a baby. I'll i mind saying that. It just hit me so hard because this this poor guy he's daughter had was diagnosed with the kimia at i think four or five and i thought i'd bayton it and i had the best three months of their lives and then it came back and within a couple of weeks she she died and this guy was a it was a mess <hes> understandably and feeling a bit guilty. I guess myself a bit. I don't know we do a lot here. At try to copy off with my partners and maintain a mazing amount of work of a suite we work on the podcast the social media stuff we building the business uh-huh actually rebuilding the website so i was better for you guys member polls rebuilding launching new parts of the podcast building that we're looking at trying to work with exchanges ranges build an exchange like this just we've taken on saimaa and look don't get me wrong. I love it love it but recently with with my health of helping tyler benefit fatigued and then i got a call and in his writing you start to think yourself a little crap. Look at all this crap bang bang bang bang bang and you know this this this is what's going on at th this is hard and he's not getting all self pity all just start to complain urine head and and it starts to annoy you know it it it does plan you then you watch something like what i watched last not and you go. Are you kidding me like seriously craig. You kidding yourself. You're in the position asian whereby you get to do what you love every day. You get to create more us what you want within the space that on an expert in you know i'm. I'm an expert traded. That's it. That's all i claimed to be. I'm dan what what i do. That's what i focus a lot of time on twelve years so i have earned the right to be in this position but if i didn't want to take on so many projects and i don't have to do this by choice. I'm not doing this because i have got to do this. I'm i'm not doing this because much. Halls life depends on it. You know i'm not i'm not in a life or death situation. I'm not in that sort of position where you know nothing else actually matters in the position of freedom of choice on very privileged in a way that you know i've grown up with the family and the upbringing kahad audit trees that i'm so lucky to have that and i'll tell you one thing right now they will be people that are listening to this show right now that are going through hard times we all i'll have it even look down like the even you might think that everyone looks wonderful and rosy always on the outside and it's meant to be because on go to entertain i go to do my job and ah when i do switch this camera and when i do do my thing i do spark up but it's been it's been a rough ron. We'll go through guys. We all go through it and to understand that it's okay to feel shit. That's fine. You know it's okay to feel bad. It's a qaeda field down yourself but you've gotta bring logic to bring you the perspective so i lied dan last night and i thought to myself what what what is actually going on. You know what he's actually going on all these things and throw things when you now now this is amazing. This is this is. This is the part of my life one of the periods of my life that i'm going to look back on with such pride with such such joy and such happiness. It's you know we don't a lot. I'm raising two young kids at the same time. My business partners are in exactly the same position as me and my team he's growing and i'll look at it now and you put that logical mind set on of neither i think emotionally think logically just like i do in trading and you actually come out the other side and you go okay. It's a cultural shit. I feel that shit. That's okay fail it but no there's nothing really truly wrong. Everything is looking really rosie and really great and a puts you it gives you a bit of a lift takes that responsibility off your shawl was because that perspective allows you to sort of sit back and you know what you don't always going to be flying around on cloud aw that's okay. It's okay. It's also could ask for help. I'm gonna ask the help in this. I'm explaining a situation. I've got my help ram one partner and wonderful friends but it's not about asking the help for me in this position. It's about science kind to do that. It's okay to suggest that things on easy to self and to others that perspective though is going to dig you out. Take the first steps to get you out of that. If you are having a hard time guys if you are having a hard time use the logical thought process think of the things you have other things. You haven't think of the people around you that you have the end of the day. You don't have anybody then co law flung places out there for you but yeah that perspective man. It's such that's a big thing. It's such an important thing and that story. I had to share it because it hit me so hard images go. Are you kidding yourself. Might you are doing so well. You've got it so oh good. You'll do things by choice and there's nothing to be worried about and there's nothing to be ashamed about. If you do philip down god's perspective is the tribes journey today getting that perspective using using that same logical strategic checklist almost that i bring to trading on did it last night in my bed thinking about where i'm actually made me feel good despite the fact that i've i've got this bloody called did pick me up and it's something that you guys are going to need. If you don't already needed now you will need it down the track so good luck to your heart..

"I don't wanna sound like an advocate, first of all, I am a patriot. I took an oath to support and defend the constitution of the United States. The officers appointed a over me, the, the president is states. Officers appointed over me, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay. I that oath, never expires. I still have that oath. Okay. I support our duly elected officials in the performance of their duties. I support the constitution. I support our military. All these wack job conspiracy theorists that advocate for the violent overthrow of the United States. Those are domestic terrorists, and you need to turn them in K, because plain and simple those MSA again, those are domestic terrorists, you need to turn them in. Okay. So don't lump me in with those people what I am. I'm saying is if it should if it God forbid should ever come to pass that we did have some torpor four form of Toronto government, somebody who try to violent takeover, somebody who didn't want to give up the reigns of power, even though where they were elective out of office. Somebody blatantly violated the constitution and thumb their nose at the law, and, and, you know, wouldn't would not be removed from office and attempted to use the military to subvert costitution law on the will of the people, then basically what you would have is unconventional warfare. I spent seventeen years of my career training as an expert in unconventional warfare. So the concept that a guerilla army armed with semi-automatic rifles cannot stand up to tanks as been disproven in places. Like vietnam. Places like Afghanistan difficult for us, and they threw the Soviets flat out. You know if what you're saying is true. Then the Iraq war would have been over in a blink of the eye, and it would have been just done. Right. That's not Peyton not true. Okay. Because first of all, they're not gonna drone strike neighborhoods. They're not going to nuke. Austin, Texas, right? This, this would be very restrictive ROE and, and it would it would be ugly. It would be very ugly to be, it's something that I hope to God are never country, never asked to go through, and I don't like the way people throw around the we're on the brink of a civil war, shouldn't even be talking about that. First of all, we're not second of all, it would probably about ten minutes. But that's not the story. Don't, don't even say that, man. We're not on the brink of civil war. But, you know, this, this isn't a thing of it as an insurance policy. You know, the fact that should we ever need it. You know, we have the tools to stand up against Toronto, government movie, red dawn, which a lot of people laugh at greater 'lustration of some of the things that would happen, if we ever would have got invaded by the Soviets at the height of the Cold War. And Soviets knew that don't think for one minute. They didn't. There's a quote that was attributed to the, the Japanese, which I believe is actually a false quote. That was never said that there will be an American with a rifle behind every blade of grass. And I don't think I think that's actually a myth. I don't think that was ever said, but I do know from seeing from reading books, and, and seeing video of debriefings of, of Soviet defectors, the, the armed pop of the United States was a legitimate concern, you know, if the even if even if the these the Domino's through central and South America. And cited to violate the Monroe doctrine, basically, come right up through Mexico. That was a legitimate concern that they always had. So that's up to about when, when people say things like, oh, rednecks, they are the NRA against a MOAB. They're showing their own. Ignorance, so I usually don't even bother debate them. Because if I start debating him, then, again, I sound like one of these Whack-job conspiracy, theorist basically, and I don't wanna sound like a domestic terrorist. So I don't wanna debate that, but basically, they're stupid. This has been proven I'm going to run through a list of people that disprove that theory, the Maccabi burgers, the Scots the seeks the American revolution the in the Philip downs of Philippines, Zulu, the bore the check the French resistance in World War, Two, the mujahedeen analyst goes on and on..

"Till noon. In case you missed it. Here's a rewind of the Mark Simone show. Hey, remember, I told you about the tappan Zee bridge when they blow it up. So they blew up the tappan Zee bridge, and you've probably seen the video just drops into the water. The nets to catch it. But apparently they killed millions of fish, and the debris is all over the place. There's a lot of people live on the water in Nyack, and in irvington Tarrytown, and apparently the metal that's coming up a shore. It's not just like a little metal piece. It's like those enormous plates that they put on the street when they want to cover up a whole those things are floating float. Well, I guess it afloat. Well, I guess they do they wash ashore. Okay with the tides and all that. And the state is saying the contractor they hired a contractor the blow up the bridge. And it's the contractor's job to recover all that debris and that the contractor is working on it. Dead fish on the shore to. Well, you don't send a scuba diver down there with some camera to show, you what what went on down there when they blew up everything you can imagine there's a ton of dead fish. So, but they'll get it all cleaned up. Hey, a Cossio Cortez. Yesterday, the two things she I she taught a class for all the congress men and women on Twitter, and how to use social media because she started when she started campaigns at three hundred followers, I think it was a Twitter Instagram, and then now she's a two million two and a half million. So we she's teaching them. She had they had 'em all get together. So she could teach them how to become a big hit on Twitter and Instagram. God bless her. But the she looked like a teacher. Don't underestimate her. She is a phenomenon. Yeah. But so is tiny, Tim. But people are buying into what she's saying. Okay. But she's like a little Mufid a month a little she you don't don't underestimate her. Okay. But you, you know, this is going to end badly. You think so well the same thing happened to Sarah Palin? She was quite the phenomenon. She took the party by storm. She was everybody's hero bird, then more. And what they started realize the ratio of goofiness to substance was not what they thought. It was that's true but Palin, they got here for every little tiny misstatements. You made all Cossio Cortez gets a pass and everything. Okay. But people aren't stupid most of the country is hearing these goofy comments. So she taught this course on how to do Twitter how to be a social media star. But you look in the audience. It's like Chuck Grassley. Adam schiff? Oh, gosh. I mean, really you see these guys Pelosi and grassy. They they would need the whole seminar on how to just turn the phone on. I don't see them tweeting much just how to open an account would be like a six month course. So now the other thing she was on C span covers congress all day, and you can just put on C span and see the congressional hearings. But that's just the hearings, but just the normal sessions. And at one point yesterday. She was her turn to speak when she got up and spoke in congress for ten minutes believe it or not it's set the all-time highest ratings record ever for C Span's. Okay. But it's C-SPAN which is all liberals. No McGinty difference. Sushi appeals to wait a minute take a guess what the all-time highest rating audience ever C span. I think I know it. Kamala harris. No now, the new record was Cossio. Critique. Well, how many people you think that means highest also two million? Nope. One point one that's the all time record. So all right. But it's again, it's like NPR. It's like crazy left wing. It's all liberals that watch it. It's all liberals with with glasses and berkinstocks and they're watching C span. She's real. He's real. I don't know. So it was Bernie Sanders and now. They were soon chanted with Bernie Sanders now look at him as a crazy old, man. Right. Same thing will happen with her. She'll be a phenomenon. And then he realized she just goofy college kid who doesn't actually know anything. That's the problem. So there's now thirty two candidates for the twenty twenty nomination. Who'd Kamala Harris, this she's got a problem because she's this left wing left wing socialist. But her whole career was law. Enforcement's you've got quite a record which an opponent can make a lot out of. She was very pro death penalty. She was cracking down on criminals. Now, you Democrats was to love these criminals. Illegals. Now as you reported a Nancy Pelosi's office now putting out a statement. Remember, the president canceled the flight and everything and then he said, you could always fly commercial if you want. Since nine eleven. The speaker of the house is never supposed to be flying commercial a member of the day of nine eleven they were so scared people forget what went on in the hours after the World Trade Center in those hours. They were worried that this was a massive terrorist attack. And it was going to continue, and they were worried about all the government officials. Vice president was taken to a secure place. They kept the president in the air. Remember Air Force One was zigzagging around these patterns there had been a threat against Air Force One that they turned out. It was a false threat. But they took him to that special secret base in Omaha, and they who is the speaker of the house the Tom Daschle. I think they took Tom Daschle to one of those underground bunkers they have in Maryland. So they secure but ever since then they've decided that the speaker of the house cannot travel commercial and has to be protected at all times. She's second line for the presidency in the succession line. So that's why Pelosi put out a statement her office that yesterday the president threatened her security. This is at the moment where she's threatening our security by refusing to secure the border. So you're threatening her security by not having a military transport with soldiers and military all over the place, but you want the border secure. She's not doing it. Forget it the border stays w-wide open. What the president tweet about prayer rugs to they found some prayer rugs down there along the border. Is that him saying, it's you there are people that live on the border. Those are the people that are really endanger their farmers and people that live on the border the real dangerous these drug cartels come across, you know, what they always say with the guns. How would need a magazine with one hundred bullets in it? Who needs a weapon that can fire two hundred rounds? That's who needs these guys that live right on the border have farms when those drug cartels, come across. And you get in their way, it's like member Scarface at the end to my little friend. That's when you need a magazine with one hundred can make exceptions for those people. Yeah. Okay. Well, I'm just saying people say who needs that? That's neat. The middle of Connecticut. You don't need that. I don't know wondering the Bridgeport you might need. Heart. You might need that. So okay. What was the point of all this? But the president he's not saying he said some of these guys that live on the border. Lead times the C stuff left over the border from the crossings like needles. So some of these guys told the present, they're finding prayer rugs. Now. Okay. Well that implies yes. You know, not not just as you're a Muslim prayer rug doesn't make you a terrorist. But if you seek it across the Mexican port, and you're probably not the average Muslim citizen, you're probably up to something. If you sneaking in, and there's I don't think they have a big Muslim population in Acapulco. Guys that snuck in some way. But on the other hand, you're trusting the farmer who lives on the border to know, what a prayer looks like it could just be a rug. It's true. Joe is left behind. Just be a blanket. I assume know these caravans you gotta sleep sometime. So I don't know I trust the farmer in Texas to identify prayer rugs. So the house is going to end there'll be a war. It's not going to be a full walk. He's going to have to give up a little bit of his wall. Maybe. It was never going to be a full war. Hey, if you go back yesterday on the web page, I have a video that's fascinating. Or a guy takes a helicopter and runs up and down the whole two thousand mile border. You can see there some parts of it where you just don't need a wall. It's unbelievable cliffs. I mean, there's no way on earth, sir. Edmund Hillary couldn't get across that. So you don't need it everywhere. But you do need it. Let this two thousand miles of scenic fifteen hundred miles of it. And it's easy to do. Forty five countries have done that now, but you do need the wall. It's just common sense. Getting crazy now. But why would you not have a forty five countries built this wall Israel used to have offense? Then they went to the wall it cut, you know, Israel had real problems, not just legal immigration. But suicide bombers coming in there. They cut the problem down ninety nine point nine percent with the wall. So why wouldn't you do it? What's the reason? Not to do it. These are not terrorists coming across the border, but still illegals. Yes. Illegal. They're desperate souls via. But there are also a lot of a lot of drug dealers are using it MD thirteen is using the sex traffickers why what's the reason to leave the border wide open. Exact can't think of one. Well, there's only one, and that's because the globalist the Davos crowd, the lobbyists the corporations are paying off everybody in congress, Democrats and Republicans to leave the border wide open. That's why for thirty years every president makes the speech and does nothing about it. You notice Reagan did nothing about it. Bush did nothing about closing the border Bush junior did nothing about closing the border. That's because that's what the global if the cartel wants that border open. It stays open. All right. Whenever you hear the Bush campaign, the Clinton campaign, they spent nine hundred million campaign, where do you think that came from that group is who donates all the money, and they like the border open? So until you fix that problem. I don't know what you're gonna do. Hey, this horrible car. Accident Prince Philip down. He's okay. He wasn't hurt. He's driving. I looked like he was just coming out of the driveway. And he hit another car. Prince Philip is ninety seven years old. Now, if you're not the prince of England, go try to get a driver's license at ninety seven. Eighty eighty-seven. They don't give you a driver's license. A ninety seven pip only because he's prince he gets a dry. Well, maybe the Naveh license. I don't know. Maybe he doesn't need on your right? Yeah. So he's backing out in a car hit him and his car flipped over. Right. Imagine that he's ninety seven car accident with your car flips over passersby pulled him out. They said he was okay. He didn't say anything. But he said he was dazzled by the sun. That's what caused the accident. He was dazzled by the sun. Going two miles an hour in his driveway. You're looking this Prince Philip believe me that dazzled by anything? He looks. Violate. I mean, don't usually they wouldn't they have like an escort for the the prince of England. Well, that brings up another point. Why is he alone going? So I think there's a little I think they did say I heard one report that there was an unidentified individual in the car with him. Yeah. I think he was on his way to some Jeff Bezos sort of an activity. At ninety seven these guys these Royal families. This is what they do all day. They all got. And it's always it's never like a little stripper something. It's always a Camilla Parker Bowles they got hidden somewhere. So even at ninety seven I think he was still on his way. Yeah. They didn't say much about the other passenger. Yeah. There was another passenger. And why would he be alone without security? Why wouldn't you have somebody driving because they want anybody witnessing? What was going on? And he's famous for that going on and. Ninety seven eight godless, Bob Hope he was still going strong at ninety seven.

"Offering up more thrills in a trip with Prince Philip down a country lane in a Land Rover monocle twenty fours. Very own cutouts, Rabelo, Ben Ryland and financial aggressive fish echo. Welcome team. Hi, emma. Right. Let's begin with the shutdown and one thing that can be said about Donald Trump's approach to disputes as he takes things. Very personally take the latest developments in the government shutdown this week things got down and dirty as the house speaker Nancy Pelosi requested for President Trump to either cancel his state of the union address because the staff usually used for the security on there because of the shutdown. Mr. Trump responded by cancelling Musalo needs play Pelosi's plane to Afghanistan. This is a sorry state of affairs. Isn't it? It's absoulutely. Terrifying. Actually, I I it was it was interesting. I I wasn't quite certain that that Pelosi had uninvited Trump from the state of the union. I think that was misreported, and perhaps misinterpreted by a lot on the Republican side. She heads into letter that strongly strongly suggested that it be postponed, perhaps take place in a different format such as giving it a over television from the Oval Office or Babs delivering it in writing. I as far as I can tell she didn't say you are not getting your state of the union. I think that seems to be something that the Republicans have chosen to miss interpret to then perhaps in some sort of reverse way with an is against Nancy Pelosi to make her out to be the petty one who went petty. I is a very clever way of saying I'm not stopping you from doing your job. But I'm just going to make it clear that there are difficulties connected with you doing your job and Donald Trump. Replied in kind. But it does make sense her her answer and her statements saying that, you know, maybe we should revise the way we would do to state of the union in it is the one day that every single branch of the US government is under the same roof. I mean does even television series about what would happen if there was a tragedy or an attack during that day and defacto that the shutdown is heavily impacting impacting security services dot concern had to be raised. It'll be reckless of her not raise that issue. In the unlikely event that something would happen. No one would ever forgive either Democrats or Pelosi for not having made that case. Absolutely. I think a lotta people misunderstand just how epic a security mission. This state of the union is Nancy Pelosi was making a valid point. And I'm not sure whether Donald Trump took it that way, it seems as though he's taken it as a sort of personal attack, which is I suppose going to surprise absolutely no one fail. What do you think? And talking about security was quite weird that Trump also reviewed an end spills was going to war zone enough ghanistan. I don't think there was supposed to review a dissolves again, very reckless. I mean, I know he was he was going to pursue attack against but you can't do that. Especially when you when you do things such as security as well. Yeah. But we're talking about the president that when he visited US troops over right before Christmas break or during the Christmas break that decided to post photos on social media to say, hey, look, I am hanging out with the troops. And actually revealing photos of some seal agents that even their families in the know if they were alive where they were. That's how secret of emission it is and they found out through Donald Trump's Twitter. So, you know, I think security concerns it's never at the top of his priority list. It's how can I make things personal? How can I weapons is a moment? And how can I make everything about me? One thing that I noticed about this. We're gonna take away Nancy Pelosi's plane, she's going to have ghanistan, by the way, close brackets is it I thought I'm not entirely sure that Donald Trump is bright. Enough to sink that particular trick up himself made me one the has. He got a getting like the bullies mate sitting there going, right? She's done this to us. Now. What can we do to get Nancy? Absolutely. He's naming Stephen Miller. He's got a gang of of to use a word that perhaps should have been retired..

I've got my help around the wonderful, wonderful friends, but it's not about ask. Help for may and his position. It's about saying it's okay to do that. It's okay to suggest that things on easy to yourself into others. That perspective, though, is going to dig you out will take the first steps to get you. "A buck an hour. The house was one hundred meters away less what time of the classes. I asked three o'clock. One of them said I looked at my watch it was to forty five Corelli and Pinkerton we're here. Now, a block away things were moving so fast through my head that it felt like earth time it stopped. I could suddenly see everything that I needed to do next. So clearly, I told the women at the motel not to tell anyone about our conversation. I ran back to the gas station and ripped down the flyers and took back the stack. I'd left I needed to get my truck and it's American license plates off the road fast. It was a tiny town. I had to assume that word would soon get back to Crawley and Pinkerton. I drove a half block to the town small payphone office and hit my car behind the building. An operator connected me to the in Santa Cruz. I found them. I said I told him the story is quickly as I could. He gave me a phone number for a US marshal handling the case. And I got him on the phone. I found them. I said the US marshals seemed doubtful annoyed. I let him know that I could get together. A team of local police and go get Carelli don't do anything. He said call me back in one hour. I looked at my watch. Again, it was now after three o'clock dance class was in session. If I called the US Marshall back in an hour, and he instructed me to contact the local cops, which was the only reasonable option that whole process might take another hour, maybe more, and it might be too late. I went across the street to the cinderblock police station. Three cops were gathered around a small television watching a movie with Chuck Norris in a midget. I later figured out that the movie was lone wolf mcquade, the nineteen Eighty-three classic in which Chuck Norris's. Character makes an incursion into Mexico to take care of business. Mexico mexico. What the hell for got my daughter. Well, hold on. I'm coming. It's not you're fighting. I need to speak with the Dante. I said one of the cops leaned back in his chair on the combing Dante, what do you want? He was clearly irritated by the interruption. But he led me to a tiny room with a metal desk and closed the door. When I'd finished telling him the story, he radioed his off duty cops and told them to report to the station immediately. They called for backup from seventeen the dance class was half. Over in the police station. Bulletproof vests were pulled from lockers weapons were loaded. One of the cops found an extra flak jacket that would fit me the one hour, Mark. I dialed the US Marshall from the telephone in the police station. It's no good. He said the paperwork not in order. He told me we'd have to wait until tomorrow. There will be no tomorrow. I said there are two white men in this town, Richard Corelli in me pretty soon. He's gonna know it if he doesn't already and then he's going to do whatever it takes to run again. The Marshall exhaled sharply. He said, call me and a half hour. You gotta be kidding me. I thought the Mexican cops stood all around me waiting for the word. I told them that I needed to make one more phone call. I dialed the uncle in Santa Cruz. Look said the US marshal says that we have to wait until tomorrow. I explained that. It didn't have to be this way that I didn't work for the US Marshall. But this wasn't my decision. It was his family only he could decide he conferred for a few moments with the grandparents, and then he said the paperwork will be ready by the time. It's needed go. Do it. Mexican federal cops arrived from San contain a few moments later for unmarked truck loads full guys with big mustaches and leather jackets. Most of them. Carried assault rifles. One of the trucks was sent out to observe the house. They radioed back to the station that the children were out front with the mother a few seconds later came the report that the father was now outside to the leader of the federal squad said vomit, then he put a hand on my chest and ordered me to stay put ten minutes later, they returned Michelle Pinkerton and the children were in the back of one truck Crowley was handcuffed in another. They jerked him out of his seat and stood him in front of me. And when he saw me the fight drained out of him. Any fantasy? He might have held about the arrest being just a Mexican shakedown was dead. He asked me why he was being arrested. I didn't respond Vienna. Stared out the door or the other truck wide eyed and nervous we shall Pinkerton was working hard to convince her daughter that everything was okay. She held the baby tightly in one arm and hug Vienna. With the other rocking them both gently against her. We caravan back to the federal headquarters where a big group of cops whooped Richard Kelly was pulled from the truck and lead up to the station. Michelle and the girls were taken out of the other truck in Vienna watched in horror as her father was led through the doors. She moved onto the sidewalk and stood next to me. She was really dirty. But she seemed healthy high said, LA, she said, speaking Spanish now, see. You okay. See? The cops asked me to wait in one of the offices with Michelle and the girls we kept asking about her father, Michelle assured her that he was fine. She was trying to find another blanket to wrap around faith the infant was so tiny in her breathing was raspy. Michelle did everything she could to not look at me. I sat for a long time. Just watching her trying to stave off this new reality. Vienna. Leaned over faith and kissed her forehead the baby cooed and Vienna laughed and Michelle draped her arms around her daughters and she smiled a smile. So sad that I had to look away. Carelli was next door in jail cell. He called me, sir. Excuse me, sir. Can you please? Tell me why. We're here, sir. Please. One of the cops enter the office where we sat and grabbed a leg. Shackle this heavy black iron thing that looked like it belonged in a dungeon. He carried it to Corelli sell. Vienna. Started to cry. I have a daughter I said to her she's four she looks just like you. She likes to play Princess you play Princess to Vienna. Nodded Michelle straightened up in her chair and asked me are you from here? No. I said, I'm from California. Her eyes teared up and she nodded. Yeah. This was not what I signed up for. She just seemed like a mom where was the screaming? The blaming the meth had excuses. Whereas all the horrible parenting. Have they all been cured by their time here? Suddenly, I didn't really feel like I was riding in on the white horse. Just felt like I was meddling with somebody's family. What right. Did I have to upend the lives of these two little girls? What is the baby need? I asked diapers. Michelle nodded. Yeah. And formula. I drove into town bought way too, many baby supplies and some stuff for Vienna to then I stopped at a taco stand and bought three dozen Carne Asada tacos. Vienna. Lit up when she saw the food. Did you bring food for my daddy too? I asked the cops if it was okay. For her to deliver tacos to her father. I helped Vienna. Make a plate and then followed her to the cell work really was cuffed to the bars. Hi, honey. He said you okay. She nodded he held her face in his hands and kissed the top of her head through the bars. They spoke softly for a few minutes. I tried to fade as far away as I could Crowley fought to keep it together. He looked up at me. Are you a bounty hunter? No, I said, what are you? I'm just a guy trying to help he seemed to hold this for a long moment. Thank you. We said Philip down. Yeah. I called the Santa Cruz. Tried to explain what I'd seen. The girl seemed well cared for that. They seem loved told him that things were different than I had expected. Well, he said the Anna your grandparents to. I drove home the next day. I didn't know it yet. But the media was already in a full frenzy CNN and CBS and FOX were calling my office. All the news reports were pretty black and white and after a whole month. Police said no luck finding girls, but one guy did in just two days James spring, who's calling me a hero. But I didn't feel like one a lot of ways I felt like a home wrecker did a couple of interviews, but they went poorly pull this off you went to Mexico, and what did you do? Basically, I I created a flier in Spanish and the thing about the boss. So I stopped. The one bright spot in all the coverage. The one moment that made me feel like maybe I had done the right thing was video shot at the airport when Vienna got off the plane in the US. In vienna. Caesar grandmother at the arrival gate and she yells grandma runs into your arms. Both crying. Grandma, tells her it's okay your home now. I must watch that video one hundred times. All week. The phone calls didn't stop producers are trying to buy the movie rights long lost relatives tried to reconnect. Everybody was calling except the Anna's grandparents. I'd been thinking of them a lot. I just wanted to know that the girls were happy not happy. But you know, that they were okay that they were going to be okay. But the grandparents didn't call I couldn't call them. I mean, they had to be overwhelmed. I felt like maybe I'd intruded into the girls lives enough already. But I needed to do something. I sent a huge box of presence to the kids in a notebook for Vienna. Sushi could write letters to her parents on the inside cover. I wrote her a note, I tried to make her understand why I'd done. This was kind of an explanation kind of an apology. Even though I knew she was way too young to comprehend any of it. I got no response. And then I started learning some odd things on one newspaper's website. I found a comment from a guy who said he was Michelle Pinkerton, brother. He called her white trash said that he hoped she was brought to Justice for crimes. A reporter told me that he'd interviewed the grandfather. And that the guy had made some pretty hateful remarks about Richard Corelli, hoping that Corelli would become some big black guys girlfriend in prison. And then there was a photographer who had been sent to take pictures of the family who gave an equally depressing report. He said he couldn't shoot any photos in the house because it didn't look like children even live there. Notorious kids stuff on the walls. Of course, that doesn't mean anything, it's just cosmetic. It didn't mean. They weren't taking good care of them. Or didn't love them. I didn't know what to believe I was worried about those little girls and nothing I'd heard since Bob was making me feel any better..
