"I liked a light this spirit of the players and all the players have been very, very good in that matter. Yeah, and what a sense of relief for Graham Potter. Well, yeah, unbelievable. And I think that we may be talking for Chelsea a bit down. I'm not sure we do in other purpose. Frank tried to make it a bit up because you play against Dortmund. You haven't lost a game in 2023. This is a game who is at the moment challenging buy in. Yes, there was a key moment when Julian Brown, maybe the best player in this year. Was injured and had to go off after 5 minutes. But if you saw the draw for Chelsea in the state have been in and they're playing Dortmund, then you may argue that they were the best team endorsements. They're coming home, are still going to turn it around, they created chances, there was something about their attitude I like. And I am with Frank. I think that hobbits had a great game. Not only did he have the courage to make it twice. I mean, he's a big game player, you may say, after scoring the winner in the Champions League Final. But it's also the way he kept the ball for them when it was needed at two zero because after the penalty Dortmund came into the game, they had some good chances that we spoke about, but this is a great way not only for grandpa. This is a great win in the Champions League when you over two games, you are knocking out Borussia Dortmund, a great performance by Chelsea football club. See this is one of the frustrating things. If you're a Chelsea fan looking on, is that you see how that's having this kind of game, you see cooler ballet having this sort of performance could corella and others. But it's not about doing it once and once in a blue moon. It's about doing it consistently. I suppose that's two inch now back to back. You got what Leicester Everton villa. I think in your next three matches. Yeah, but it's a possibility now, isn't it to get things? But they're setting in the middle of the table. And that ain't good enough. But what I'm saying is, is this where the tide turns? Do these two results? This is Liverpool all over, isn't it? You know, is that thrashing of man united where it turns for them? Can they go on? We thought no. What jokes is going to pitch up from here on in. I think green Porter will be hoping it's the one we saw tonight and in some sense. In Germany. He talked a bit why, I think the occasion was one of the reasons why such a big game Champions League, you know, Phil house at home behind so I think that was part of it and also that you

"Maybe Minnesota is a little bit high at four, but I just history has shown us this is a franchise that is run by Cheryl reeve with Sylvia fouls at the anchor. You can never count them out. They're going to find ways to win games. They're going to find ways to be in contention. Time and time again. 100%. I mean, with Minnesota, the interesting confusing concerning aspect, like you said. When it comes to Minnesota, especially this year, I really have to check myself. Am I being extra harsh because I'm from there? Am I being extra attentive? Because I'm from there. At the end of the day, like you said, you have the best center arguably in the history. You have the best coach arguably in the history. You have an angel McConaughey who really wants to win a ring and has shown over the past few years, even coming back from injuries she I mean, obviously the assumption is she can bounce back like she did last time from the knee injury and hopefully have a productive season. The question mark for me is, you know, it's the bookends. It's okay. After sill, dantes is still not 100 I've heard. The last report I saw. So what's that going to look like? Because right now, she's the only big on this team that can shoot. And then are you going to be playing a lot of small ball with maybe putting angel to the fore, gone to set the 5, or still at the 5, or there's going to be a lot of combinations, then you've got the question, the pointer. Obviously, they declared in solve some things, but crystal dangerfield. Are they going to keep Yvonne Turner? Are they going to keep Rachel banham who's a fan favorite? There's a lot of questions. Obviously, in my opinion, is that they're in a tough situation because the Natalie John would contract, but also just look at I'm not in the conversations or discussions that happen in roster movement in salary negotiations. But if you ask me, if I look at leisure claritin, angel McCall tree in Sylvia falls contracts, that is one 30 90 and 200. I feel like I could have skimmed off enough that I would save 72 K to save me some space for one more roster spot. We talked about this before. Obviously, share a read as much smarter when it comes to this stuff than I, but you have to wonder how much that Natalie John will contract is really going to hurt them in their ability to foster a deeper roster because Kayla McBride isn't coming for a little bit. Some other players, I know crystal dangerfield's not even in the country yet. So the early on in the season, having key players like that not there, yes, more of the players were there. This camp, the normal, but this is going to be a tough start for this Minnesota lynx team. The question is, how do they weather the early storm? And then what do we see throughout the rest of the season? But I do think talent wise, you have to put them in a top 6. All right, Rachel, dangerous. I think the success of Minnesota. This is an opportunity for KLM McBride, aerial powers, and Jessica shepherd, to step up. They all have to play well. But there's an opportunity for two, if not all three of them, to elevate their play this year, which I think I personally believe is more than possible. I'm a huge fan of shepherd. I mean, I'm just like, this could be a really big summer for her. In my mind, that's just that's just kind of my opinion. Those three players, you know, I think that you can be because clarendon is a great fit with this roster. I think it's a phenomenal fit. We know what Phil's house is going to bring. Those three players you're looking at. I mean, you could throw down to send there too because we all know. I mean, we stock a couple of years ago what she's capable of bringing to this team. But those three players have got to elevate their play and have a phenomenal year. Yeah. It's as simple as them, it's as simple as that. I'm just going to run through the different tiers and then we're going to touch on two more teams. Dangerous but not consistent. The mercury sparks, liberty and wings, bottom of the barrel dream and fever. The two teams that I want to touch on briefly is the mercury and the sparks. Now, the mercury in my mind, you can't say they're a step behind. They lost their best player last year. They wouldn't make the run they made. Literally, Rachel, we talked about this everybody thought I was crazy when I picked the mercury from early in the playoffs to go to the finals. Everyone was talking shit about me, but I was right, okay? Because Brittany griner was playing MVP level out of her mind basketball. When she was doing that, it didn't matter what the rest of the team did. It covered up for dieter os horrible Swiss cheese of defense. It covered up for Skyler diggins Smith just struggling through at different points during the postseason. And other players obviously. Sophie Cunningham had a crazy good game. Bria Turner had a really good game. There was other players who were doing important things. But at the end of the day, it really came down to Brittany griner just putting the team on her back. Now, obviously bringing Tina Charles is still a star studded team, but DNR is a pastor brought. She's ring chasing at this point. Hated her love it. That's what it is..

They built a bunch of homes at houses that nobody went to live in Other people never lived in boston to speculate. Some people lived in him and bought them for over inflated prices because the government told them they were overinflated prices. Then the government tried to cool it down and they were. Abc that from our powell. Tristen gordon map. You've been up there. Might out of you talk about it. Yeah i'll just says. Do you think the oblique kicked initially banned. Many fighters got on twitter saying that it should. I assume we're all in favor of not banning. But i could be wrong. Who wants to go. i i understand. We had some of the twitter comments from fighters. Oh sure sure i'll. I'll find just just boxing poetic on here. You know what. I was very. I never understood that people go home. It goes a legal. You know but then actually i was talking to sarah kaufman and she kinda was an agreement about making the legal and it made sense lower. Because i don't. I still think there should be legal. But she was saying since those kicks the intention. Those aren't to break down the muscle or bruiser lake. Normal cakes are those intention. That kick is strictly to rip apart the ligaments in the knee and in may or any any type of submission. there's an option to tap out continent some sort of e bar or you know he'll hook or anything. There's an option the tap out the problem with those kicks. There's no option tap out. Either get you hit and you unique goes or it doesn't go so i kinda get that reasoning because there's no option the tap on such a catastrophic injury But it's may and you like Rountree said you can't be heavy on your foot. You can't be having that foot. That's why he got. That's why because got noticed it. Because he was heavy of that jab he was he. He put a pattern there. That rowntree recognized and capitalized it and even round through one maybe fifteen seconds before that and completely missed bukac didn't take that has it warning and he still went the same game plan thrown at thrown a jab heavy lead foot and unfortunately it went very south for him. So i don't think it should be illegal but I get why you should. I'll read some of the reactions here. Ousmane sterling said who wants to go into a fight jabbing at their entire knee destroyed. Ouch ow I shouldn't have read those her. Take those those are threatening one of the toughest owen. No that's how.

I had the equipment in a drawer collecting dust somewhere and one day i decided to pull it out but with a friend who said that she would like to start a podcast together. And that didn't pan out. Netflix Sets Title for ‘Haunting of Hill House’ Season 2 – Which Is Definitely Not About Hill House (Video)
"The hunting of hill house season two is in development. And we now know what it is going to be about Chris tell us about it. Yeah. There have been rumors that Netflix was interested in a second season. And at the time, it seemed kind of unlikely because the first season of he'll house wraps everything up pretty well and adapts one book and so on and so forth. But now we know there is a second season and rather than taking a traditional approach, Mike, Flanagan and Netflix. They're gonna turn it into an anthology series sort of similar to what AMC is doing with the terror. So each season is going to be a new story and while the first season adapted. Shirley Jackson's the haunting pill house season two will be adapting Henry James's the turn of the screw. Which is another classic ghost story. It's been adapted into a film into films. If you times before the innocence is probably the best example of this, very spooky black and white are movie. And this is really cool. I'm very excited. This I loved the haunting hill house per season. And I really liked turn of the screw. I think Mike Flanagan is very talented and undis- gonna assume because this is what I hill house. Did it's going to take a lot of liberties with the book because he'll house only really took like names in certain ideas, and then created its its whole like new thing. And I'm guessing that's what they're gonna do with this as well if they're taking that many liberties, why do they even need something to adapt with the second season. I mean, you know, there's brand recognition. I guess I guess it's also like a framework. Work because he'll house it borrowed ideas and frameworks stuff from the book. And I'm guessing this is gonna take that singer a framework where turn a screw it's about a governess who is hired to watch over to orphans, and she becomes convinced. The the mansion she's washing them in is haunted and the kids could see them. But at the same time, the book is very ambiguous in that. Maybe there aren't really go species. Just crazy. So I'm guessing they're going to use that formula where there's a woman who thinks house is haunted, but maybe she's nuts. That's what I'm guessing. They're going to use that as a springboard to create something new Jakup. I know you were a huge fan of this first season. What do you think of this news? Yeah. The first season's phenomenal. Mike Flanagan is phenomenal. I love this idea. I have not read the turn of the screw by have seen the innocence. And I feel that we have this idea the older horror films aren't scary. There could be spookier interesting. But the innocence is scary it holds up as a genuinely unsettling go story. Even though it's my God. Six years old now. So it's I'm very excited by this idea of with funding did in extent what Chris said is he took what Shirley Jackson was with the hanging Phil house and took two Matic core. And built it out in ways that were more personal to him or person was writing staff and transform those ideas into something that was passionate and personal to him as a storyteller. So like, I'm taking this. This very different goes story with very different ideas. And you know, remixing through his lens in the style of the first season that is incredibly exciting. And I am all for more. Great anthology driven hard to sounds like it's such. It's such a great idea to get more cool go stories in front of right

The Brilliance of Amazon's Homecoming Series
"All right. We are back. We're talking about homecoming season one. I mean, I don't even know if there's going to be a season two, but with homecoming new show in Amazon it's directed by front of the pods. Same as mail. It's a based on a podcast from allied Horowitz. And Michael Bloomberg that was Gimblett couple years ago. And the the podcast major parts were played by Catherine keener, voiced by Catherine keener, Oscar Isaac and David trimmer in the Amazon television show version of it. We have a show starring Julia Roberts, which I never thought if you told me ten years ago that Julia Roberts will be on an Amazon show. Just really confused two thousand eight me. So we're just gonna talk about the first five episodes today in the second five the the back half of the show on Thursday. So there will be spoilers. Yes. There will. Episode boilers mandatory, pineapple optics Redwood, and helping the episodes we're talking about and everyone here are the usual caveats. You should know that I'm recording this from s milk work right now. Yes, we're all the people Chris mentioned except for Julia Roberts J William or ended office right now having a meeting I think about season two. I am clearly an untrustworthy voice. But I do think it's noteworthy television show. And I am eager to talk about it. But understand you take all take the bucks, kosher salt. You have in your kitchen and just pour it all over whatever device used to listen to this podcast on. Yeah. Well, we so I feel like we just talked a lot about sort of the extra curricular things around television show with Walking Dead without actually talking about Walking Dead. So I wanna start rather than talking about the impact this show has had or what it means within the Amazon ecosystem or whatever logistic about the show itself. How's that rate? You you you leave me there? Okay. Again, not trying to blow smoke up SAM's ask. But I am really in all of what he pulled off here. Because forget I actually didn't listen to the podcast. So I can't even speak to what it must be like to adapt. What is essentially this? This long form audio story for TV. I can't I can't evaluate what I think he's done here. And we talked a little bit about. The effectiveness of the half hour thriller drama, and how that gave us kind of like remixed are brainwaves a little bit. It kinda kinda got wires crossed in a way that was really exciting. Because you're basically, I think when you're watching television show that takes at least an hour, and you know, it's drama, you kind of your your mind knows that there are going to be these peaks and valleys these lulls, you know, how they're setting things up around the three five x structure, you kind of have a feeling for how you're watching these shows if you're watching Ozark if you're watching hunting and Phil house, if you're watching a sharp objects there is of no matter how different these shows are there's a vibe to them. And there is a a tempo that comes along with an hour long show by compressing the drama and tension into anywhere from twenty seven to thirty one to forty one minutes. Sam's kind of manipulating your reactions. To the story. And the story itself is not I don't find it to be that complicated. It's not that Abrahams e it's not that mystery box. Obviously, there's a lot of central mysteries. But what I think he's done here is taking seventies paranoia cinema. Which is something that a lot of people like to reference, I think famously Andy always joked about how the Rousseau's talked about the influence of like all the president's men in parallel view on winter soldier. And we joked about that..
