I'm doing the work myself because i enjoy it in between visits to other dimensions can be out there just doing a little landscaping operating little mini excavator. It's gonna be fun. Oh you're having an excavator delivered. Yes that's right. I'm renting one. Oh just for the week okay. So with that comes. While i'm away you can decide point. Just tell them to swinging around back rights okay. There were set up here in the lab. I'm gonna do my whole thing. I high i max. I'm an engineer and inventor and thing here is the bagel trying to thousand which i'm not gonna turn on just yet the bagel trying two thousand opens up portals to other dimensions have been traveling through these portals for over three years visited a hundred and fifty plus different dimensions. I want to say at this point. my log cured so there's been a few duplicates and Yeah it's somewhere in that ballpark. Something different worlds and yet. I'm sure i've just barely scratched the surface of all the different presumably infant dimensions. There are out there jack. Strobe here my roommate is actually from one of these other dimensions. As a the whole thing you can go back and listen to how that happened. But he's here now. And i'm looking up the on list here look right like why haven't turned the biggest two thousand yet the next patron that we want to give a shoutout to is somebody named fluker. Yes pflueger as an interesting name. It is rather unique. I hope you think nice thoughts about him. Because some of these haven't gone so well no they haven't. We did try the whole reverse psychology thinking. That went really poorly. So don't do that again. Nice thoughts so as i turn on the bagel. trying two thousand here in a minute. We're going to be saying out loud. Pflueger had thinking about our patron flu generous patron and hopefully the dimension that we go to somehow involve something good about that sound think. Someone's here. I'm gonna go check it all back in bit. Good luck on your trip. All right i'm going to turn sing on get going. We'll see when i get back. So turning on the battlefront two thousand. While i think about pflueger i'm saying pflueger and thinking good about the good things lugar googlers. Great lugar is the best. Amac's your bob. Cat is here. i'm just going to have him. Put it on the side yard. Oh yeah yeah. that's great. thanks all right. Two thousand is warming up again. He took pflueger. Puerto looks stable. All the rings the machine or nominal ready. I'm going through. Oh gosh wow okay hang on let me show my puerto here and then i'm gonna describe outdoors. Any birds die. You know. I do hear some mangy senate dogs in the distance but i appear to be in a very disgusting looking trailer park as a whole row of single wides laid out here in front of me in various states of extreme disrepair. I'm standing right in front of one heinous off. The roof is sagging a windows. I don't know if they've ever been cleaned. There's nobody around outside here. So i guess i'm just gonna head up to this closest one here and given a knock and see somebody's around you can learn a little bit about this dimension. Hopefully this whole dimension isn't like this. I don't know steps here and knock on the. Oh just just swung open okay. Anybody home hello There's no answer peaked. My head in. Here oh i think oh oh he hit it. Just hit me as a really not a great smell okay. But i'm looking inside. I think i see jack stroke. But he's is he. Hey are you. Okay hey oh. I think something may be wrong here. Okay the stroh sauce lifeless body. that's a still feels a little warm. Were where did it's not war. Remain alive but you should know. Kill them several days. Okay hollow graham jack strobe. I didn't hear you activate. No that wasn't shown. I watch the the crime. I read newer tech novels that the murderer often returns zia the crime. Not okay i for the first person i think back now. Okay therefore you are okay. And i called the rate first off not a murderer. I have never set foot in this trailer nor this entire trailer park before today before moments ago all those as our exactly whatever say. I'm sure it is okay. This is also. You appear to be strobe are you. Some kind of artificial. Intelligence officials don't l. k Are you actually gesture jober. Do you just look and sound exactly like Been hologram many of his memories as his last checkpoint which unfortunately was a month ago. But i do have most of his time doubt for mary's face plus knowledge thing. That's great. what should i call you. You can call me jack. Strove find jack strobe. I'm just gonna head out I don't think there's anything i can do here. Her the knock on the door opened up now if you ever year murderer i don't think this guy here even got murdered. Well then first of all. I'm going to need some facts first of all you name effects your name. What's your name name is max. Max max was that show for max. Essential for anything. Your names just. Max max can be bothered with more syllables. That's fine you over that one. The call yes. Jack strove the whole graham gastro as natural checks out. That's right. he's not. Actually jackson object strobe. Is this guy here. the right. So here's the thing. I was going to ask you if you had any sort of connection to the deceased but it would appear that you already. At least his name. How do you know the deceased name. Sir what'd you say. Your name was max. What's that short for. Max wait now. we did. This dance already. Haven't we the charles the hotel coup. You see what i'm saying. Pal is it. Max how do you know this. Man right yeah. How do i know this guy. When i did say earlier that i've never set foot on this trailer park nor in this very strong for yourself. That's what i told. Jester polygram here. So obviously i met jetro outside of the trailer park somewhere else. We used to work together was we were. Coworkers workers bud me first of all. Where am i. Man is second of all my name actually. This is probably seventh of all. Because i've done a few things. But since i came in here but regardless of what number it is the name is dirk dirk pflueger. Oh excellent detective pflueger perfect yet. Detective works too friendly thing. But you know what i can be bad cop. It's alright this is great a respected member of the local community. I'm so glad you're here because obviously what's happened here is this hologram has confused me for somebody else. I've never been in here before. I was coming here to meet the locals and to check out the local scene and i knocked on the door and it was open and this guy was just here unfortunately deceased so blessed with all of the deceased memories up to about a month ago it's loosely. Drew that max of jack. That's lease a lot onset. They were in a sales. I should say we were stable organization together and jack myself basically stole a bunch of clients from match max mad thing not a theft investigator or fraud investigator. Really a good thing. I'm not any of those. I only specified justin murder. So even if you confess to like any number of crimes today doesn't matter anyway. You're dead continue. So in addition to seal the number of max clients the best terms. Well nothing illegal about that. Last part i did not murder him though. Listen archie gonna like look for evidence or something. I think you'll find that. There's no evidence here that i committed any crime. Well first of all sunny. I wanna let you now something you probably already as everybody knows the first three rules of motor investigation. That's right location. Location location those the rules of real estate and your in the location that i'm in right now which means you're on the location of the dead body. I just wanted to touch base with everyone in my location before i started investigating my location. That's right rule number two location now. We'll get to number three. After i finished examining the location. Is this murder investigation. Is this real estate. It'd be surprised. I often the crossover. Now here's the thing sunny boy. I'm gonna need you to give the facts. Jack. that's right. the facts two of 'em specifically on facts. I wanted to give me something. That's not if that that's something that delight. i want to give me true truths. I don't wanna give me lie. Doesn't have to necessarily be in that order. In fact it's a lot more fun if it's not hanging you said santa boy and you also said jack are you talking. Which one of us were you talking to all right jack in the colloquial sense your jack. Not jack okay. It's also a little confusing because he keeps popping his hologram around the room. Kind of just seemingly randomly chevy stranded like throw me off balance. I appears you are armed straight. I on on low point a gun at your right now. Hey click sound that. We all heard just now wasn't enough to see new. Don't as me bro. listen. I'm gonna slowly take off my backpack through and weapons. What i would add. Is there for self defense. Only i'm setting it down. You can see had no other weapons. I'm not holes during anything we lift up my shirt. Oh wow in fact. I would've asked feed and not do that actually. Wow that's okay. well. I don't really need to see the bag now. Obviously not a threat out law to facts and in fact that's right son sunny boy sunny jack sunny. Just sorry i'll stop saying can fusing because he's jaclyn. You're jack you know what i'm saying. Third base. i'll call you jeremy. You okay with that max Short sounds great. Go ahead jeff. Okay sure fact number one. I am from the city of seattle. Sounders made up but go on fact or maybe not fact number two. I'm recording this whole conversation. That's felony Fact or possibly not fact number three is that i am a professional wrestler right. Now i'm not gonna guess which one of those is alive. Make sure that's clear. I'm just entering all of these into evidence. Now if any of this ends up being used in court and proving a detriment to the prosecution case you'll be fine and prison basically ally investigate that age. Old tactic called entrapment background. Check him and find the wasn't special wrestler. Say wow boylans like honestly can be any number of those. He's real good at this game. But here's what i wanna know maxi boy. That's right. jeremy. Mr travis boy. Here's the thing. What is that hold on the refrigerator. Handle this yeah. I see it as a smudge. A duck smudge looks like some kind of greece on the inside of the refrigerator handle jack but you know anything about this snow. I literally just walked in. Jack jack jack. The one that goes and i can see i around paper. Well that's is that it's not gonna happen any then let me just skirt that different part of the handle it all right Listen to him just showed up here. Maybe we should like. I dunno go to the neighbors and see if any of them saw anything well i was going to make a bit of a more thorough investigation. The contents of this fridge but a pretty much everything. I need to know by now. This cottage cheese shouldn't be this keller. I'm interested in knowing the neighbors of scene because they saw you coming. Maybe they saw going. You know what. I'm saying you probably. That's all right well. I'm just going to walk out the front door here. It's important to get a good smell surroundings. Hey wait a minute. That dollar game. Follow us out of the trailer. Whatever did you like activate upon his death. You knew how long he's been dead for would add as two and a half days. Couldn't have been meek. Because i just showed up. Well can you prove your absence grooving negative. That's another classic law enforcement technique. Ask him to prove a negative. They never can just like you can't right now. Say what's up nope. That's a raccoon. That's just the shoe. i think that's i'm sure that if you speak to the neighbors and the other surrounding trailers none of them will have seen me lough our next door. Who don't mind me interrupting you sir. But obviously you're man coming in and out of your neighbors house recently in the last couple of days does he have. Is this your watch. What i don't know know. I've never seen this guy before my wait a minute. You kind of millions. Talk hussein. sucks out that you look like this guy here. It's hologram year. You look a lot like him for like old wrinkly and gray suspicion seems a little suspicious itself them at. Can't you see that man in there. Who seems to be slightly transparent. It's probably just the drapes obviously has long. Yeah okay so you noticed. I think that's another hologram. Oh i just madrid. Give people the benefit of the third a bother. You say you need to your. He's a fraudster. What's reported to the landscaping crimes. Yeah that's right. This guy only does murder so there. We should be back with you in about a month now to the business at hand. This particular grizzly marta. The man inside that trailer right there. He's dead. I know crazy right now. She's still watching us through the window. I mean it's a big window. I you don't usually see bay-windows like that on mobile homes you do you. Hey you seem like you're living your best life. I don't think he's living any life. I'm telling you he's a hologram. There you can do it. Sturdy admits that he is allah. Graham who's gonna take me flesh and blood human or these holograms whole auster. That's right also. Have you taken a look at this long. It really does look needs mode does not my problem. That's landscaping crafts departments problem. Now i want you to really grasp and just take in the gravity situation. Meant that gentleman is dead. His goose is cooked. Yeah i understand. Ganders been pandered i understand. I'm the one who discovered the body. Now you just you discover the body. That is a real fun way to say it's not fun. It wasn't fun it's reached in there. I don't understand how you didn't seem to notice it at all just walked right in there. Listen here sonny. I've smelled death more times than you could ever dream okay. It's dark and it's changed me as a person. Listen we got to get ourselves back into that trailer right now and investigate the premises just a little bit more. Okay fine now really wreaks it yet. You heard mashed always gets his man and you sir. Are that man. Unless as i suspect you yourselves are in fact another hologram chest. Why why have. I just like that. Oh well that's the easy part of police works on terminating. Whether or not a person standing right in front of you is or is not a hologram. Listen i didn't murder. This guy doesn't look like he's been murdered. I don't see any evidence of actual trump shoot. I should look at the body lipstick on his collar. On my caller. What kind of color lipstick do you wear. I wear lipstick This trailer is packed to the gills with holographic projectors apparently surely there's also like some kind of cameras recording system like surveillance footage. You could just access and see what exactly what happened at good league jack here myself. Change the password since the last check was the face for this. This this this this right here. He can see that says my secret crush thoughts. I thought at every crush. I've ever had as jack in there. Were a lot of and none of them were the right answer. Well let me This is when the deductive powers that i developed over many years of training. Come into play. Hang on let me try something go that was it. Oh what do i. It was orange crush. That's not even secret. That's like the most popular flavor gone with grape strawberry. Those are secret. No one knows about those terrible hen. Man i mean i know it. Wasn't you technically orange crush. Well all right now time. For the moment of truth we're going to hit that play button and watch. That was the wrong button. That does that well the fact that you were the one who pointed me to this file tells me some you you're on the right value. Hit the wrong button. All right five like little. Try mother mom. That's a lady. I mean that's your mom or lady than you'll ever be what is happening now. Did you get the wrong file again. Somehow i guess that's our trailer jetro. I really need to call more often. Looks real excited to see jack. Oh wow oh they're just going right into it right into it. Oh berkeley i thought standards were a bit high o. k. o. But everyone seems to stop moving. She fall asleep well on top of him kissing and then moving to see my flesh twitching. I can barely see that. Most of your body is covered by mrs lugar. There ever got a romantic as. I'm starting to think not hit fast forward. Just hours of detective. Luger's mom laying on top of jack strove. She is a heavy sleeper. She moves she so slow down. Look or well. I mean how do those count is usually an presumably. They don't usually end with him. Being smothered to death. We stopped short death now. I'll be honest. I probably should have recognized that purview. When i first walked in here i've never known another woman to wear. How would you. How did you make a perfume smell in this place. I've got the nose of links or a similar creature. Obviously i did not murder this man. I reluctantly agree that this is probably go well. You would be. If i hadn't cut you in a blatant bald faced lie directly to law enforcement's that's right earlier on you told me. This whole conversation was being recorded. And i know that's a felony and you don't seem like you got the guts to actually do that sir. Unfortunately i'm going to have to take you in downtown ri- right okay. When are we just step outside. "Mark Levin. Here are number 8773813811877381381 with two wonderful guests who will be on shortly. Dan Sullivan, senator from Alaskan, a very tight race. And we want to see if we can help him in August, Pflueger, who was running for the house in Texas, 11, all important cases races. But before we do I want to read something to you. And I hope Don't be a listen to this. And by the way, you don't have to be Jewish to understand what I'm talking about. Here is a matter of fact. This audience is filled with righteous gentiles. And I want to thank you all each and every one of you. This is a piece that was posted over at the park Powerlineblog. Starts off Joseph Biden, like his mentor, Barack Obama. Seems to get off on talking tough to Israeli leaders. In this guest post. Stephen Still bigger, recalls an early instance of such behavior. He goes on to call out American Jewish leaders for their self interest to disregard what abide administration with meat for Israel that supporters Stephen, So bigger was no Republican. He was the chief legislative aide to congressman Steven J. Sellers of Brooklyn, who was a Democrat. He also was the lobbyist for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees asked me Was the Washington representatives for the American Jewish Congress. He's currently practicing law in Washington. Before the Democratic Party's lurch to the left in his elevation by Barack Obama. Joe Biden saw himself as a quasi Dixiecrat. His first try for the Democratic presidential Ah nomination. He bragged that he had received an award from George Wallace, a someone who raised that and boasted that Delawareans were on the side of the south in the Civil War. In 1982. He was probably beginning to plan that campaign by the thought he could appeal to the perceived native is The Dixiecrats by publicly threatened to cut off aid to the Jewish state. In July that year, used in appearance of Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin. Great man. Before the Senate Finance Committee to threaten to cut off aid Israel After enduring Biden's fist pounding tirade. Bagan responded with the eloquence that was his trademark looking directly abide and he said the following Don't threaten us with cutting off aid to Israel will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I'm the proud Ju with 3700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid. When we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid. When we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them when necessary. We will die for them again. With or without your aid. This is what he says The Biden He always proper and dignified Bagan, then lectured by known his manners. Looking directly at Biden, he said. This desk is designed for writing not for fists member of buying was pounding his fist. Mine's behaviour was so out of line that immediately afterwards, center Moynahan Approach the Israeli prime minister and praised him for his cutting reply. Unfortunately, much of the American Jewish community is composed of Jews with trembling knees. So Donald Trump has been the most pro Israel president in history. And will receive a record Jewish vote. He may receive fewer votes than Joe Biden a lot fewer Despite Biden's checkered record in Israel and his support for reinstating Obama's deal with Iran. A disaster for the United States and Israel. Has not been established beyond any reasonable doubt that the Ayatollahs nuclear program is no peaceful purpose. And is designed to fulfil his stated goal of destroying the Jewish state. There is no doubt that a Democratic victory will encourage the most belligerent elements in the Arab world to step up their terrorism and viciously target Jews. For matter, a Democratic operatives who are afraid of their political for futures and Jewish Wall Street financiers afraid of missing out on deals are working overtime to defame Donald Trump. And yes, I say that as a Jew and the fellow who wrote this Maren cough is a Jew also It's not surprising that begging invoked the Holocaust and responding to Biden. Megan's parents is older Brother Newman's relatives and friends were killed by the Nazis. Reagan speeches were full of references to the Holocaust. Unlike many European Jews It was critical of American Jewess failure to push Roosevelt to do more to save American jury. Excuse me, European jury. However, even beg and would have to admit the Roosevelt was better than the carrot crop of Democrats. After all, Roosevelt fought Hitler and did not fund him. The Obama Biden administration gave the Ayatollahs of Iran who called for the annihilation of the state of Israel, and the more than six million Jews who lived there. $150 billion. And following the receipt of the money, Iran stepped up its activities in Syria, Yemen and Iraq. Which have resulted in the displacement of millions of people. The death of hundreds of thousands of civilian Muslims. Iran also funded Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, which sent and continues to send rockets into Israel. Is there any doubt that American money sent to around paid for the murder and maiming of Jews hit by Hamas and Islamic Jihad rockets? Even though the carrot Democrat party includes many office holders who wanna boycott is run, eliminate American support for the Jewish state. Jewish Democratic operatives and Wall Street traders. I'm hoping that if they support Biden to go along with some criticism of Israel Bacon, stuff flourish and Democrat political and financial circles. But they may soon realize that this is not assured in today's woke Democrat Party They want to see their future. They should look at what happened to Elliott Angle. If you're dying in a rocket car you may gone a little too far in the other side. So I had an interesting conversation with somebody else both Sweden. This is terrible. Because this is a good end program. They'll be to die makers and poems people to that. "I absolutely no coverage are outrageous, outrageously, Dr balls. And then of course, fires. I mean, Butte county in paradise is just not in my district. But I mean, it doesn't matter what us into this knocked. We all constant fear of fire and everybody talks about it. And typically Republicans want to go clear cutting because they say when there's no trees Phya, which really isn't true because if you look at the photos of paradise all the big trees are still standing, it's the another rush, and the fact that it hasn't burned and that there were no prescribed burns and no Faez in a hundred years. That's what causing the problems. So I want to highlight the problems that are then help the communities that in the fire prone our area, so one good examples Nevada city, very progressive area. In this rural in this rural district. They just put together a goat fund me. So the go fund me to fund a herd of goat that going to eat the another rush and help them with mitigation and fire resilience. We shouldn't be begging people for their money to fund some gold. You know, there should be state funds available for communities and also for people to help with fire resilience. He and was defensible space. So you mentioned that it's often been Republicans representing this area. And that's true. A the US congressional level to what would you see a sort of your path to victory in district like this? You know, this is a primary where it's the top two advance to the general regardless of party. So what's your sort of your your path your strategy for winning in the primary and then making it to the general and winning there? So it's a special election, which means I looked at how many votes were cast and passed special elections, and it's really a big Maly low number. So the district has nine hundred twenty thousand people I think and five hundred and if you saw registered voters and typically that's true for all the senators strict than California and typically in special elections between I would say sixty enough hundred sixty thousand people vote, and that's not in the primary that's in the general special election. So it's all about getting out the vote and getting the same people excited that we're excited voting for Jessica moss and Audrey Denny in the midterms. Jessica moss and Audrey Denny. Whether to can. Candidates as we're running for the Democrats in the midterms. They both love, but they both make great strides improved the number. Jessica got the most of any losing candidate. I think in the I'm in California in the midterms. So really it's about an edge. I think the base and and getting people to return their ballots, and so you mentioned that you were one of the founders of the indivisible group there. How active is indivisible in that group? What are the types of things that that they're doing in his that helpful than in your run for office? Yes. So where we're mostly a virtual group around a thousand people on Facebook, and but we had a few events entropy. And it's almost always amazing to see how many people turn out for these. So we organize the families beyond together rally last summer where we had really unrig or four hundred people show up, and we are atone of thirty thousand people. So if you look at the it was actually in percentage is big rallies. And there was an inch icago big city. We were Nuys protest to protect Yuna after the election or the two days after the election, and we had a hundred people show up essentially on the sprawl a moment and protest, you know, to ensure that the. New acting attorney general and Phya Rosenstein off I'm ULA. So it's a very active community in terms of getting people out. We had so many one of in the midterms on that I know people who got who got talked to who got three visits from people to really it's very run very engaged community that I'm tapping into. So you had mentioned that you weren't immigrant to this country and on your website. There's a nice little biography of you mentioned that you've traveled a lot in the US, but also in Europe Asia. And so I'm wondering if you could speak to any lessons, you think your travels in your experiences living pud of the United States might give you in terms of what can you learn from other states and other countries that you might apply to policy in California..

"Heavy one. This is Kelly with two talking politics. I'm on with my co-host. Sophie, hey, Sophie. Carrie and joining us today, we have a candidate for the California state Senate in district one where there is a special election that will be taking place. And so we're speaking with Zilkha Pflueger, I still. Hi there. Balto few things having me on. Yes. Thanks so much for joining us. So I know you have a really interesting story about your life. And what led you to this moment? So can you Phyllis in a little bit? What what's your background? And why did you decide now to run for state Senate? So I am an Omni bre, I'm an immigrant. I'm the Dawson refugee, I'm aggress alive. A I'm a laser engineer and after the twenty sixteen election, I went from looking at politics as a sports to politics as a combat hand on hand combat or so I became one of the co organize us off the Tahoe Truckee indivisible group and Tahoe. And the truck truck he's also what I call home and the special election is coming up on with the primary in March. And there was no democrat running. And I thought it was really important for us to have a democrat run in the next morning to give voters a choice because of people. That are on the ballot of vary. They don't stand for what we are standing or. And and what I send for you know, I don't even want to say liberal politics. I found for people my opponents all against taxes. That's all good. I left hand that day on not ready. I don't see how they support people in the district. So that's my main motivation why I'm running and. Can you tell us a little bit about district one like where is it in California, and sort of what are the like mean, you know, cities or towns there, what are the people like? Yeah. It's a very interesting district. First of all, it's really really beautiful. It's it reaches from the north the trinity Alps the border to Oregon. It includes reading then goes down the Sierra. So along the border to Nevada and it influence net lesson national park and reaches all the way down to south of Lake Tahoe. And it has it goes to the Sacramento suburb. So some of the sacrimento the eastern Sacramento have also in the district, so mostly it's very very rural and people in the district really feel neglected by Sacramento. And I think that is partially because it's always been Republicans prefer the district, and they don't. Just don't get much done for them. You know, I I think having somebody that really speaks to the people directly helps them with their issues like accessibility to healthcare. So the only ACA plans in Truckee that I little closes big medical facilities are in Reno. And the plans have a forty thousand dollar co pay if you seek out of the treatment same goes for the north of the state, whether tells us facilities are in Oregon same thing, you know..

"There's opportunities to contribute to the campaign, every dollar matters. I think you know, we we have very low dollar amounts where everyone can participate. It doesn't have to be just, you know, people that are contributing large amounts every single person in, you know, can can make an investment in this campaign and just learning about the issues and providing ideas, if there are some for the state of California, and even outwardly if there's other states that are doing some incredible work. I'd love to hear what that that looks like to. So thank you. I have seen on your social media that you've gotten a ton of really great endorsements. Can you talk a little bit about the endorsements you've gotten an also? About sort of the the process of getting endorsements of for our listeners who are thinking about running for office. Yes, I think the endorsement list and that was critical in the very beginning. Because all you have is, you know, people that I've worked with along the way over the last ten years, I've created policy with them. I've, you know, sat down with them. I've supported them during their elections and having that that network of of supporters team in the early stages of the campaign. So having the incumbent support having some of our large players, you know, that have great integrity and great reputations on both sides of the aisle have been very important to me. So mayor Garcia from the city of Long Beach, the long the largest city represented in the district is big having women who stand for progressive of values like Holly Mitchell, and and Lauren Gonzales Latino caucus chair, very important. And then also having support from labor. Ever who their members are all working families? So that to me was very key. And having those endorsements as well to make sure that I showed not only, you know, individuals support, but support from organizations that, you know, really take interest in this, and then I'll be working with when I get to the states on it. So we have the most endorsements in that case because of the work that I've done in the past. But also just looking ahead. They know that they feel confident enough in our race in our campaign that will be alongside them with when major issues. Is there anything else that you wanted to make sure we talk about I want to say that you know, I am. It's very hard as a as a mom and a woman to run some time scary. But I just hopefully urge whoever's listening tonight, and the women that are listening that they can you know, they can really look at my race and other races that have happened nationwide as a as inspiration to to run their own races. And to just go for sometimes, it's hard. And they say that you have to ask them in like thirty times before she says. Yes. And it's totally true. And I just hope that it know provides a little piece of inspiration for other one into to run local state federal races, PTA, whatever it might be probably been asked more than thirty times by now. I think so I think so right. My son just today told me that I should run for congress because we need more moms in congress. That was like, well, that's right. We have a mum representing us law ready, but okay, exactly we'll need more. So I'm on board. Let me know. All right. Thank you so much for talking to me today. I'm really excited about your race. And we will put formation on our website with your your website near social media. So people can get in touch with you. And hopefully support your race..

"And today, I am speaking with councilwoman Lena Gonzales from the Long Beach city council, and she is running for the state Senate in California in district thirty three I Lina. Hi, thanks so much for having me I proceed it. So I could we start by talking a little bit about your background and y you've decided to run for the state Senate. Sure. Absolutely. And thanks for the opportunity to jump on. I always like to start off first. But saying that I am a mom. I'm the only mom in the race right now, which is pretty exciting. Because that's a lot of a large part of who. I am and why create policies and why I'm doing this in the first place, but I have been I'm a the daughter of an immigrant. My mother emigrated here when she was about seven years old. Grew up in San Pedro. My father was a truck driver for thirty years. I kind of come from this really humble home, and I became a mom at the very young age of nineteen. And so having all of that in my history, and my background is really led me to to where I'm at now. And I've been with the city of Long Beach for ten years the first five years working for then vice mayor Robert Garcia now, our mayor and in the last five elected, which is really exciting. And since we're part time in the city council. I've actually held a job at this little tech firm called Microsoft, and I've been there for five years. So that's been really exciting having this private experience. But also being public servant, right and sit this is a special election in the state Senate, and this is a special election of FRA seat. That's come open because the incumbent was elected to a statewide seat. Is that right? That's. Correct. He's now our Commissioner insurance Commissioner I Ricardo Lara and his election was all set and done right after thanksgiving. So very exciting for him. He's the first LGBT openly LGBT Q Representative statewide and today see that he has endorsed you to replace him. Yes. He hasn't or me, which is an honor to have his endorsement. Yes. Excellent. And so this being California. This is one of these jungle primaries that's going to take place, and when is the primary primary of March twenty six so right around the corner. Very very quick. Okay. Great. Tell us a little bit about this district kind of wearing California. This is and what sort of the the representation of the district. It is the thirty third Senate district, and it is eighty percent of the district is the city of Long Beach. So be western portion, which includes downtown Long Beach central Long Beach in a bulk of north Long Beach, and then goes all the way into cities like the southeast LA region, which is inclusive of Lakewood paramount signal hill as well as Southgate than would all the way up to Huntington park and even into a portion of south LA. So a very sort of district about half of the district is foreign born about seventy percent of the district is Latino so you have a very hard working families throughout the and a district that is you know, how is just very dynamic it just kind of runs all along the seven ten and just is really beautiful collaborative of of very diverse families. But, you know, very hard working mentioned, and what are some of the issues that you're hearing about from people. As you talk to them, the the kinds of things that they're really concerned about right now. So some of the issues that have come up, certainly our number one like the environment is a big one not just at the state level. But I think Pacific to local issues we dealt with it in Long Beach, having the partner backyard areas like air quality, the, you know, LA river master-plan, which I've been on the committee of making sure that our water is clean, and that our air is clean Bill. Just the issues with contamination underground has lessened the economic attraction to some of the areas, especially in the southeast area. I think those kind of comprehensively have been, you know, major issues within the district that needs to be addressed and having that state support a strong leader in the Senate to help through some of the issues are going to be key. Another issue area is education. We have incredible institutions in the regions testing Long Beach. One of the city own which community college and testing Dominguez hills, which instead of a commuter school. You know, more having more funding for those schools and tackling issues like homelessness within students..

"Like, it just seems like they went to the same rooms to go and Pflueger Ville and got all of the. The seafoam green accessories that they could possibly need and just like remix them in everyone's place to your point. There's a scene work Clair's testing paint swatches on on the wall, and they're all basically the same. Yes. The palette shows like yours at one brand of paint that the fancy fancy guy pain. Stately colors, only palette and this basically. Yeah, the show is is definitely that. There's one exception which is the journalist who like the dog, Tom. The non has to like show he comes to she comes to visit him and he like officer recede, and she has sleek show for a bunch of papers and junk, mail and shit like that. So that she could sit down, and I was like checks out. I always had this what Doug stampers apartment should be like. His apartment, even though it was deniro always seem to need to me dog is exactly the same thing that I was talking about the plot that you're like, not quite sure like it seems like it's supposed to be a big deal and go somewhere, and then it totally doesn't like at the last moment of his life. Tom puts a USB on the dog's collar, and then later Constance dimmers, and you're like, oh, it's going to be this huge thing. Like where is his story where did the research go who can find it? Whatever you never see the dog, again constant Zimmer goes, I found this USB on a dog. And like that's supposed to be this huge exciting or not or it just I nobody took advantage of how great it is to hide your research on a dog it. Yeah. And she drives off in the way, it's shot. You're like and the car blows up in three two and the. Did you use that shot setup? Like, just so many. There are so many lost opportunities. And I just think they didn't maybe have the heart anymore. Like by the time. They get to the last few episodes. It really did just seem like. You know, who can there one by one picking off all of the characters that I liked and it's like, all right? So your last act is to kill my favorite, Doug stamper. Okay. And then it over. Quests yet. Dave was like there isn't another episode. Like, no that the me too. I chat, and I was like keeping count. I was like all right good last one. And then it was like, wait. Maybe this was episode seven. I thought the same thing I thought for a season where like for me the season like like ninety percent of it is just the president and PepsiCo trading powerplays back and forth doing one up and screwing over the others. And then at the she steps, Doug. And that was like the season. It seemed just like it was just like this. A back and forth between these two and like everything else was just sort of happening. And then it just ends. And I was say what about like what happened with the Pepsi people? Like are they going to have like is this the end it didn't seem like it just not that show needs to resolve all pass? But this one just ended in a way that seemed like it just ran out of money than they were just like, you know, what? Let's go through this tunnel and get the other size. Like, oh, no the Coyote painted the tunnel on the flip side are trained to slant into it. And the show's over I have a lot of sympathy for the way ends because I know exactly that feeling when you're writing an article, and then you get to the point where you're like, I just feel like this should stop. Hit my word limit show over that ending is so bad. But I, but I was just that ending so bad. But I, but I almost can't hate it. Because I relate to it so strongly. Yeah. But at the same time, it just really highlights the fact that like the season did not need to happen. Like every season ends in a way, that's like closed ended..

He said, well, we, we found a mass in on his brain. And so at that time you still don't like understand what a mass is in your life looking at him because now I think it's about eleven o'clock at night and were now exhausted. We're starving, but we can't eat in front of him because they wanted us food from him in case something else needed to be done leader. I remember all, say, kinda going in, I go will. We've taken care of of a baby was shaken babysitter and just go in there and take it out. I can take FM, weaken nurse him back to health, just get in there and get it out so we can get home because we start. I'm thinking the other kids too, and I'm still not fully comprehending because he just said mass me mask could just be like the system. I don't know. It doesn't. It doesn't mean it didn't, but I knew it was bad when he goes, no, y'all going to be here for a while. Then the pick you floor doctors come down, and I think this is where starting to sink in that we probably should start contacting our family and letting them know we are at the hospital in the baby will be omitted. So the pick your team comes down and they're getting talking through. And at this time guilt start setting, it. We say things like, was this our fault? Did we miss something in he? They were like, absolutely not note. Doctor or period is ever going to be like yet. Your kid has a brain tuber hand. So we set there. We were just kinda most at that moment..
