Largest thing in Dallas for a while, the largest west of the Of the Mississippi and everybody who was anybody was there. The markets and brothers were up on the 23rd floor. Several years ago we started Buying buildings that had this ennobling a great redemptive architecture. And kind of helped a little niche in that space started buying broken malls around the country long before there was a term of that, after use, Remember? NPR reached out in the early nineties, and we redeveloping the oldest law oldest airconditioned mall are skipping the very first moment. Kansas City that was air conditioned. And at that time we called the term de malling and, um, you know, I think the building for for what you started with just its been significant part of Dallas, the skyline since his bill, But you're Design, but George Doll in 1965 and really You know, the marble in the building is from the same Corey that now has been officially closed in Mountain Angelica's, which is the marble that was cord. The Parthenon from And I think that speaks a lot to dolls vision. Dole and I know you do a lot of that architecture. But goodness gracious, one of the most remarkable our pictures and you know the state of Texas in the whole United States, for that matter. Absolute amazing buildings here. You know, it was interesting because this was To my mind, said the outgrowth of a war the two big banks in Dallas with a Republic National Bank. And, I guess is the late fifties. They built that big thing with a spaceship on top and Then the metal siding right, and I think Bobby Stuart. Some of the rest of it, Lumbers national, said. We wanted top what they're doing, and so it's a taller building. Goodbye. Biased, But, you know. Ah, much prettier building. Very smooth lines. Yeah, well, it's ah, It's a perfect building for the new firm, which would be at that abuse. Just the original design the floor plates speak very well. The elevator banks very well, toe having multiple uses within the building. Well, we've been watching this things. It was dormant 10 years ago and Can't wait till you get back going against Sean tone. We appreciate appreciate the encouragement. "They do a similar thing with water where they take standard water and then they'll come in let's see water be in you know one point five in and so basically it's a it's a method of determining the capacity of various substances well what he found out is that under fifty thousand PSI pressure every element on the metallic series can go under vision well if you look at the periodic table about half of the elements on the periodic table are metallic and if you calculate out what the pressure is at a hundred and twenty five pounds per cubic foot for dirt you go forty miles deep and you have enough pressure for any metallic substance to be vision just by by natural so we had this enormous furnace underneath our feet and every bit of the energy that's coming out of the earth is going through the piles fear so as the energy that's coming from the sun can be reflected by clouds are filtered out by absorption and and lower energy emissions in the atmosphere one hundred percent of what's coming out of the ground is going through the piles here and that's that's what sets your baseline temperature of the earth so that we don't drop the other factor is that the moon has a fourteen day night day rotation cycle in earth days and the earth is only a twenty four hour so that's where you end up with that little anomaly and there's this whole thing of climate change take off with al gore's the if I recall that's kind of where it all started in terms of complicity actually it started with the club of Rome and I mean in terms of of the widespread publicity no he just jumped on a front man he has absolutely no science training he could explain anything to you he was just a with a well known political figures so he was adopted as his there poster boy okay but what happened during the Reagan administration the average funding for climb apology was twenty million dollars a year when George Bush got president he ranted up dramatically and by nineteen ninety two the US government was funding one billion dollars a year in Harbin endangerment finding she has all year fun is finding for danger danger is all you're going to find that's all he could have signed they want to keep flowing yeah yeah it did in the in the slick Willie presidency the rant that up to two billion dollars a year so we've squandered a hundred billion dollars a year funding hi every little hairball scheme that they come up you know it's still in the polar bears is because in prostitution at the increasing please it's if it you know ocean acidification which I hope we'll get to in a minute but you know this whole matrix of things that they dreamed up to date evil carbon dioxide can do because you can qualify for a one or two million grant for your university if you can come up with any excuse for carbon dioxide is the most evil thing on the planet and we're no better off than we were when they started all this now we could have given fresh water to every human being on the planet okay to build housing for homeless we get it done everything we we could have developed free energy we could have done so many things with a hundred billion dollars that we've squandered in is ridiculous fake debate and that's why I have a real issue with the people that claim to be skeptics and I don't come by this on it is his cavalier and you know uppity about it I actually went to the debates with Richard Lindzen and gearing north at the petroleum club in Houston and that night at Rice University I I tended to events with Larry bell who you've had on your program climate of corruption all he's a professor at universities and he brought invited Fred singer down for two two hour presentation I attended the heartland I see see nine convention in Las Vegas at three day long convention with over six hundred people there and back there and get busy I went there and I was going around talking to everybody about why do you completely neglect the very ability of volcanism in the center of the planet as being a climate force and everybody's going on all right but we've already dismissed that it it's it's a constant in its in its trivial and it's like it's not constant in is not trivial and I bumped into a guy named Arthur Pateros who is a top of geology professor on a geography professor at university of Maryland and he had a list of a million data points based on thirty years of Noah satellite which is the most accurate temperature records we've got and U. S. G. S. seismic de determined what the PTO the Pacific acquittal asa nation is that still el Nino online media and that cycle is directly correlated with the earthquake cycles and so he wrote a and after I met him and he showed me is bad I said you need to write write this up because he went there looking for confirmation from any skeptic this was correct and I was the only one he found that was that was that he had a few people might well you know your data looks pretty compelling but I was the only one that said Arthur you've got write a paper on that we wrote a paper submitted to the American meteorological association heat that I won't have any problem getting it published there've been a thirty year member and I published other works of mine there and was like all great he waited nine months before we finally got a rejection not a single word from he to ask them you know what's going on and it's still review nine months the sending back said it violates the greenhouse gas hypothesis so we're not going to publish it in we struggle for a year to finally find another publisher that would publish it and since then he's written for more papers all of those are principals scientific international so you can go to that site and review the work by our third just terrible and and and verify his factors on very ability and temperature in he studied the Atlantic Ocean and then he studied the Indian Ocean in the Arctic Ocean buddy decides make record an attempt to records of all for the major oceans a major rift line and there again I had mentioned forty eight and handle there's a great site by an Australian and Timothy Casey called geologist dash one oh one one and he has the original forty a translation from French any has the original are published Endel experiments at his website but he also has a article called on both unix CO two there's over a hundred thousand miles of reef lines around the ocean that's your Pacific Rim and it's pretty obvious to anybody that's been studying on current events of the last few years that earthquakes are not constant volcanoes are not constant and so if you have a variable cycle right there that we're not plugging into the equation and those are just expressions artifacts of what's really going on and that's the change at school are we doomed Jill surf regardless of what's going on no no no no forty two the planet has been able to to both of these forces hello lance it you know what I have in years yeah yeah yeah so you know we're not adding a little bit of carbon dioxide and are calculated it out you take the twenty eight giga tons a year that they they say were put in the atmosphere convert tight to graphite you get one cubic mile of graphite well what we do with that carbon we combine it with all these and it's already in the air and that forms the CO two so that means you take roughly two cubic miles of oxygen combine it with one cubic mile of carbon in that it gives you three cubic miles the gaps that determines the temperature of three hundred and ten million cubic miles of ocean it also determines the temperature two hundred and fifty nine billion cubic miles of earth I really don't think so now when you're with someone who believes in man made climate change not pollution but man made climate change do you guys scream at each other no actually they in the debate really quickly because they realize that that you know if you know what you're talking about you can't possibly believe what they're talking about so let's get back to cycles we gotten as far as the Holocene with grand Handcock we're coming up on a break and then I definitely want to ask you why you don't think we may have landed on the moon okay we'll get into that too well we're gonna we're gonna head of callers and they'll be great thank you they will kill any we wanted to say something about the ocean so we'll do that next hour tool yeah we'll be back in a moment Joseph also with us is we're talking about climate change he does not believe it's man made climate change whatever you believe your title to it get ready to make the call will get you on the program here his book is called slain the sky dragon death of the greenhouse gas theory and pretty convincing pretty convincing I mean I've always believe the planet is going through cycles anyway.
