"Fat mascara. I'm Jessica. Well, you look so cheeky. Hi, everyone. I'm Jen. Let me just tell you. You are like a copper dream. She just swiped on this lipstick and was like, let's do this. You were bringing me all the late 90s spice and I love it. I've got like ever since you said that. Ever since you said TLC, I've got creep in my head. So I've got like the horns going in my head and like some satiny bottoms and the top with just like one button and a wind machine. All right, Pete chili. Anyway, the color. It was left eye. You just knocked off chili. Oh my God, it was loud. I'm so sorry, ladies. I'm so sorry. Listen, you're not deserved that from me. No. This color, though. She just swipe on for me. What does that lip color? So, you know, did your dog just shake a tail or like, yeah, I was gonna edit that out. But now that you've mentioned everybody heard it. Yeah, sure. Listen. Leonard lauder coined the thing called the lipstick index several decades ago, like when the economy goes down, the lips, people start buying lipstick. Yeah, Julian just talked about it on Friday in our interview. Okay, there we go. Totally everybody remembers. We were all here. So people are arguing about whether or not the recession is here or if it's more people are just kind of scared of it. We can table that. But I did feel this weird nostalgic like is a compulsion. The other day is a Saturday evening, and I was out at CVS with Lake, and I just was passing through the drugstore aisle and I was like, I wonder if they still have this shade that I used to like from L'oreal. I wonder if they still have this one by revlon. And it's true of buying stuff. I don't know. I just felt like a crazed lunatic. Remember, I used to sit in those pharmacy eyes for hours. And someone that was looking at an old comic book or looking for an old candy. I like Friends. Yeah, it was like, I wanted to feel I wanted to smell it. I wanted to get it in my hand. Is it maple? Is it a maple? No, also this one I've never had. So I'm wearing something. Okay, this is, first of all, I think I got to tell you, L'oreal colored rich lipsticks. I do think that they perform super Luxe. I'm not being paid by Laurie. I'm not getting any kickbacks. Okay, there's no deal here. This is not an ad. I've always thought that they go toe to toe with premium luxury lipsticks. They really do. So this one is called organza and it is hella Capri and shimmery. I meant to ask you, Jenna, I'm not really wearing any makeup and just ring mascara, which is like blurry right now. And I'm wearing a little foundation. But there's no blush, there's no concealer. There's nothing going on. So I think this might play better with a full face of makeup. But what do you think on me? I don't know. It is on your color guru palette for sure. This is a fall. What was your subcategory again? I can always look warm on them, warm autumn. She has a better name than that. The color guru. It's autumn, but it's not warm. It's not Twilight, something like that. Anyway, this is definitely your color. It's very, it's giving me spice, it's giving me fall snowflakes and like shimmer and maple and brown sugar and I'm feeling it. But is it like more gram on me or is like edgy? I can't tell if that's like cool and edgy and rescue. I think with a full face, it would go grandma. I think with the cleaner face, it feels like 90s, cool. Throwback to a little bit of a frosty copper, but like if you put on a full face and or contoured and there got two matchy matchy with some eyeshadow, then we'd be working girl. Okay, okay, okay, that's interesting. All right. That's where I'm going with it. Happened to me last night, I went out to a DS and durga party, and I did an extended eyeliner, like a big eyeliner, and I looked at myself in the mirror and I said, if I put curl my lashes and put mascara, I think this is going to read as too much. It kept it more editorial by not putting mascara on it, so take it down. Yeah, absolutely, so it takes. Like, if you're doing one thing, it can't look too done. I feel like Peter Phillips would have agreed with me. My little container, nothing came from your container or nothing. So and I never gone out without mascara, but like I had on a thick black liner like I didn't need mascara. I love that. I didn't feel the need to lay an egg as they say and Belgium. In Flemish, which I don't speak and I could never repeat. So can I tell you the other thing I got and then we can move off my super we got some organs of lipstick color reach got it. And then I bought, okay? I bought revlon, drum roll, toast of New York. I almost said it. I was like, it's either gonna be coffee bean or toast of New York, 'cause coffee bean is also frosting. You were toast in New York girl and I was a BlackBerry girl. Oh, I had BlackBerry too. It was kind of a toss up, but I feel like I still have things that are black. You can't do both. I feel like you're either a BlackBerry girl or two New Yorker. That's like people who say they don't like cats and dogs. So how does toasted New York hold up? Is it still a classic? I remembered it being more brown and it went more orange on me. So I was a little disappointed. I sent it to my friend and she was like, they're also not as white as they were when we were that age. So that might be part of the problem. I sent it to JY. She said it still looks good on you. But I thought it was going to be more brown on me. It's still a really good color. The scent is still great. It's still a nice formula. It's a warm, it's a very warm color. I could never wear it because I'm olive and I already, you know, it's not my color guru colors. No, it has an orange undertone. It sure does. Whereas like a spice might have more of a rosewood Brown undertone, that was always more of a coppery brown. But whatever, I am here for it. I'm so glad Lake was there with you for these purchases. Oh, she put on toast in New York this morning. She grabbed it. Yes. And I first I said, and then I thought, let her play let her play, so she's not my Tom Ford Spanish pink. So you're like, she's playing with that too. She's placed with it all. I'm trying to let her be free. Let her be free. Be herself, be yourself, be yourself. So anyway, she's having a great time with makeup. And so are you apparently? Yeah. Yeah. So, okay. Now we should do. We should have a beauty podcast where we just like talk about makeup and shouldn't we do that? Let me be fun. This is how it all began, guys. Anyway, here we are. Fat mascara, your favorite beauty podcast. We're gonna do the news. We're gonna raise wands. We have an excellent the homework, people heard the homework. They are bringing the moisture. Excellent. "It's a palette with four shades, a white pearl, a gold little bronze and a soft pink. Beautiful highlighting. It goes. It's just disappears. So models love it. People take it. How do we use that? I actually, I want to know how you use that so that you don't look let's talk about restraint and a glow palette. Like how to use that so that we don't look crazy. It's a very it's a very lightweight texture, so I use a loose brush, like a soft brush. Sometimes I actually use it as an eyeshadow. For example, a little bit of the pearlescent white mixed with a bit of gold, or a bit of the pink. I just dust it on the eyelid, and it is a beautiful luminous effect. I used on the soft brush on the part of the face that catches the light like a dop bones, maybe the nose bridge, the Cupid bow. Yeah, and then it just, it just gives a beautiful glow on the face. And it's just I had any last few forever, because you don't need much. It also nice if you apply it with your fingers on your eyelid, it becomes more metallic, so then you have a little trick you just do a little bit. If you want the bronze or the pink or the gold, whatever just a little bit on your finger on your eyelid. And a beautiful luminous effect. Very it's a very very delicate texture, which really is and what color is always down to the tiny little nub in your kit. Well, the nudes 100 new is a good one. It was the earth that is set number 7 20. It's a good one because it's a bit like a warm rosewood, so it's a nice beautiful natural finish, but you see there's something there. Formula, we have it, we had it in the army we also have it in the or addict. I love that you thought we got permanent makeup when we were talking about color analysis. He's like, what? You got your lips? So I said, oh my God, you got me so I don't know. Because you brought it on, you brought the dog with such a drama. I said, oh my God. We are dramatic, aren't we Jess? 'cause we can't know because I said Jen and I got something done. And if you think of our Facebook, Peter, how do they? Yeah. I'm just kidding. All right, before we let you go, I'm going to do a quick lightning round just first thing that comes to your mind, okay? And then we'll send you off to your day press and all kinds of good stuff. Okay, ready? First beauty product you fell in love with. Mac spice lip liner. Okay. Can you tell me why? I said it would be speedy. It was just a great shade in those days. It was a great little control with it. You can blend it out a little bit of a little bit of moisturizer to give a nice brownish topy slip shade. Okay, what's your favorite cheapy beauty product? It's this Australian brand. It's actually a backset photographer gave it to me. Lucas papa. We know it just loves it too. Lucas papa ointment. Yeah. I love it. It's actually I discovered there's this Belgian backstage photographer who is based in Australia. And one year, one season, he came backstage, and he handed it out to all the modes. I think he has shares in the company or something. I said, oh, this is strange. It's really good. It's a very good basic bit moisturizer, especially when it's really freezing. It's not expensive. Great. What is your favorite fashion week look you've ever created for Dior? I actually love the one. I think it was a collection that Maria grazia did and it's a lot of tartans. And it's a very graphic 60s kind of eyeline that is just drawn by the eye. Here's your lashes underneath the eye. Yeah, on the DI it's like, it has to take on a twiggy makeup, but then make it almost like a robotic like you're almost like a cartoonish. You've drawn straight lines under the eye. But almost like a cubist cubist style. So yeah, very graphic. Okay, most indulgent snack. What's your favorite? I love everything. That's my love salty snack sweet snacks. My lucky that I'm like those indulgent so otherwise you could be rolling out of the building. I love I love. A classic. Pringles. Yeah, it's a classic. Everything haribo, haribo, that for the sweet side, you know? Because so much choice, it got so much choice. It's like the lip colors that Dior. So much joy. The gummies. Yeah. How are you gonna ever decide Peter? Oh my gosh. I'll just take a mixed bag in them. Oh my God. Maybe Pringles and how or go together. Just mash them a lot. Okay. I've been there. Oh my God, you're so funny. You're funny. Okay, now this is like our weird one in the end, ready? In the movie of your life. Who would narrate it? Well, to make it really interesting and mysterious, oh my God, that's the name of the I mean, he does all the American movies. The older actor with a really deep voice. You say Morgan Freeman. No. You said to James. Yeah. It would really make me look more interesting and more mysterious and more timeless I can go into space and so on and sell my makeup ideas. You know, it's like absolutely living back to that would have an impact. I wish that for you.

"You are leading this brand that is synonymous with high fashion makeup artistry. And for decades and decades, it was really Dior and Chanel, but you've also seen that. Yeah, exactly. Well, yeah, so then Laurent entered the game later on after Dior Chanel. But in the past like ten years, now it seems like if there is a high fashion player, they also have a hand in makeup. You have Tom Ford and you had burberry a couple of years ago with Hermes entered the game. Gucci in a big way, Valentino, then even dries has lipsticks. We just found out a couple months ago that Bama and entering the beauty game and color. What's your take on all this? Exciting, no. They all love makeup. So like I do. No, I mean, it keeps us more alert also. I mean, makeup is a beautiful tool, you know? It's especially now in these days when the information is all out there. There's no more barriers. Everything is possible. I mean, you can use it in any way you want whatever gender you are, whatever you, how you feel of expressing yourself. And you can have great products in all price categories with fantastic formulas and fantastic calls and from very simple, beautiful, delicate products to really extreme. It's all there. And in the eye of the public order of people, everything is possible. And that's a great thing. And the thing is, I mean, a scared thing I found out not so long ago that apparently every day worldwide for makeup brands were launched, which is a brand or launched every single day. Every single day, four makeup brands, whatever, yeah, which is wow. Insane, which is I think it's insane. I mean, it's an over enthusiasm, I guess. But at the same time, you can't blame people. Because it's just a great, it's such a great great tool to play with to experiment with and the look of a house like the audience that we have over 70 years of experience. We have our own labs, so we have a solid base and most of the brands that are launched or relaunched, they work with the same manufacturers, and it's kind of come from the same laboratory in the same manufacturer. So there is good quality products, but it's more marketing driven. They don't tell that history to them. Actually, starting to create their own history, but it's in the early days, you know? But yeah, I think it's a great thing. And it keeps us alert also. We have to stay alert and stay young and stay dynamic and make sure we stay loyal to our clients, but also make sure that we seduce a younger audience. I like your optimism. I feel like I approach a lot of times with cynicism, and I like that you're like, it's going to keep me on my toes. More fun for people to try. You did mention that there's high, there's low, there's all of that. I'd like to talk about your kit. I'm sure it's like do or wall to wall inside your kit, of course. But what would surprise us? And that's what most people surprised because I actually only used the op product JL say, oh my God, when I do a shooting or whatever, I'm going to do how to work tutorial. I only use the old products. And then they say, oh, you use only average because we've seen other brands a day. You know that they cheat a little bit. You know, when they do shoot, these are just, I don't. Only except for if their products that we don't make, that we don't make. For example, like cake gold cake cream based bright blues and yellows and other makeup. Like things you find that make it forever make it forever or something like that. Is there any like surprising like, you know, back in the day was like, oh, there's preparation H hemorrhoid cream in that person's kit for under eye or some weird tool like you like to put on glitter with kitchen utensil. Any surprises in there? Well, I thought something surprised most people just act Modi actually the oldest trick in the book is when I curl lashes, I like to use a little spoon, like little coffee, coffee coffee is like a little spot for the corners. For the little lash on the corners. It's a lot of young people there. They're like, oh, what is he going to do now? We know it's a spoon close to my eye. Do you think it gives like a softer curl than like a curler might, you know, angle it a little? Yeah, and also your thoughts quite often, I mean, it depends on the shape of the eye of the model, the person you make upon. Sometimes you miss the outer lashes. The eye is a bit more like a round rule. Then I just take the wood and just curl the outer lashes. And another thing that is a bit more poetic about what I have in my kit and I spoke to this is quite a few times already not been introduced, but sometimes it misunderstood, but whatever. It's like when I do shootings, sometimes it does, it's not bad to step back. For example, if the light is fantastic and the model is great and the concept doesn't need a makeup statement. I use my little container of nothing. Your little container of nothing. What does that mean? It means that that means that I don't do anything that if the model if sometimes I don't feel the pressure of having to inflammation of an expression, Hamiltonian, he has to lay an egg. Nobody has to come out. I don't feel the pressure of laying an egg every time I want to shoot. Got it. So sometimes you step back and you do nothing. Because if it's there, you can ruin it by just adding too much. And that little container of nothing is day one. I don't need to lay an egg. I love that. No, it's like, you know, when you really have to lay an egg like, okay, I need to get out, you know? That is the perfect expression. I love it. You gotta produce. You've got it for juice. You have to Purdue. Whatever, yes, that egg is to get out here. I know that feeling, I don't know. Sometimes it's better to just bring your legs. Manicurists, the light styling, and then there's this fresh, fresh non touched face and no way. Did you learn that the hard way was did you ever like pile it on during the shoot? I don't know, why I'm creating this horrible scenario for you. It actually comes from my stock as a makeup artist. I mean, I did a fashion design in Antwerp. So my first shootings were actually fully driven by fashion. Editorials, not necessarily about beauty, but fashion. But sometimes I realized when, okay, in those days, was polaroids. Oh my God. This looks fantastic. It's because I love great photography and great images. And there's always, when there is too much too much hair too much makeup too much time too much, it can ruin a shot. And it's nice to have a calm moment somewhere. And sometimes they have sometimes to make it. Sometimes it's the set, whatever. And then I have no problem whatsoever to step back and have a mic on moment of nothing. Because at the end of the day, when the shot is done, quite often, that's what makes it a great image. Is this restraint? Beautiful serene nude face. It's about editing. What's your edit on the DR products? Like which ones do you reach for again and again if I peeked in your kit, it's always empty. Well, the one thing that's always disappearing also is and then from the day it was launched, for example, the other backstage global palette.

"Without them being like medieval tea, I mean, there are so many advances in T if you just know and at the end of the day, your lipstick frames your smile. So do you look at a woman, a person's teeth when you're like, oh, you know, they're yellow. Well, it sounds, it sounds a bit, it sounds a bit medical if you say, you look at their teeth, but you look at their smile. I have been accused of making things a bit scientific, so sorry. It's an art, I think, is what you're saying, right? No, we still have to keep the dream going also. So you look at the woman's father in the lipsticks frames the smile. So it's a lipstick with a bluish undertone, matches most faces. But it can be also a little bit of a cold shade, because the bluish. So then if you want a warmer tone and you go a bit more yellow vision, the undertone. So yeah, there's so many nuances. So Jen and I just did something recently, which is a bit of a throwback. I'm not sure if you're aware of this phenomenon, but you probably are. We got our colors done. Do you know what that is? Like the lip tinting? No. No, oh no, no, no, no, no, it's much broader. So it's like we got our colors. This might be a really American thing. I'm not sure actually. It's very American. It's very American, but it's like we were assessed our eyes or skin tone or hair. And I am a copper autumn and Jen is like a cool winter. So she can only wear icy colors like cobalt. They don't want me wearing brown or orange. Hot pink, black. Yes, but I wear autumnal colors like ochre and pumpkin blob. That kind of can be helpful because I am so excited. How can it be helpful cards? Do you like this sort of thing? It can help. It can help and be some sort of a guideline for women who are for people who are not sure. Because everybody is not challenged. What's well for them? You know what? But feeds them well. But you are such a genius with color in your renegade with color. I'm wondering if you're like, throw the rules out the window. You know, you can wear whatever you want, because you said the thing, where your lipstick with confidence, I'm like, maybe I can wear what I want because I look at my closet. And I even look at some of my makeup now, like I have a silver eyeliner. I'm like, what was I doing wearing silver? I'm a copper autumn. Yeah, so. Peter. I don't know. I don't know what to say that. I mean, honestly, I mean, those are tricks. That color guiding is something that's been around for a long time. For many, many years. Did they do it with a fab piece of fabric on your around your neck that day? It was all virtual, but it was spot on dead on. I have to say the service is amazing. I'm not plugging them. I'm just saying, it was spot on dead on. The colors they chose were flattering. The colors. Is this the thing in Belgium and France? Do they do with the fabric swatches for the ladies? Have you seen that? I'm sure it is. But it's been around for a long time. In different forms, maybe. So I need to help. It can help because not everybody's nowadays people are much more aware of what's possible to make it because of Internet. But I mean, there was an era when women didn't know they got that information from a magazine. Print and they say, okay, how? And then they thought, okay, this season is this blue on the eyes and that red on the lips. But it's not personalized for them. And then personalizing personalizing is something not everybody has the eye. And also you look at yourself different than other people see you. You know, it's a lot of women. A lot of people have very complexes. They focus on things they don't like about themselves, but not necessarily they are that bad. And the core consulting thing can just be that little push that a woman needs to maybe play and experiment a bit more than just being do you find yourself playing that psychologist role when you have, you know, a new Dior model sitting in your chair. Do you talk to them about that kind of thing if they're scared of a color or something? Is that part of your job? But I do it when I do makeup on Friends or on people that I know were born in a private situation. And yeah, I'll guide into it and I never push anything to them because any of the kids, oh, it's Peter who said it, and it must be true. No, I mean, they have to be I got them true. I mean, I shared my expertise in my experience and then just only I mean, if the fact that they sometimes ask, oh, I'm not sure about the red lipsticks you are a little lipstick. You know what? If you doubt, then don't do it, but start maybe with a bit of a darker shade that you normally wear and get used to it step by step, because maybe that if you suddenly switch to red lipstick, you might think, oh no, it's not for me, and I might never touch a little lipstick in your life. Again, and then you miss out on something. Just step by step. And then what you'll find, you'll find your trick. And you know, in two, three years time, you might another makeup desire. And then because it's constantly, your face is constantly changing, and the makeup tensor comes from is changing and products of changing. So, and at the end of the day, it's makeup. You know, if you don't like it, just wipe it off and say something else. That is good advice to remember, good advice.

"You know you know I do the same thing I do the same because it's like you don't want to give everything away. All right, well this is Peter's show, sorry anyway. For myself and then put them in the garage. And work on them a bit more. You mentioned rouge Dior. We were talking about the history of the brand. Can we talk about red lipstick? Because Jess and I know that there's this famous 9 9 9 red. Yes. Right? I don't know the history of that. And I feel like there's a story behind it. Can you share with us? I mean, to be honest, that is a story behind it. We don't really know exactly exactly to the points. But there's a historian that has been growing over the years. And it has to do with, I mean, kind of wrote it down because I don't want to say anything wrong. It's the first lipstick that Cassandra created was number 9. It wasn't the early 50s. And there were numbers, so in 2009. Then there was a few years later, I think it came back out, or that it was the launch again, and then there was it was called 1999. And then I know on the Tian, Tiana, great makeup artist photographer who was at the or before me. He created, I think it was in the early 2000s, maybe 2003, something like that. 9 9 9. And that's how it kind of seems to be in lock number for the chandelier. We're very superstitious. On the other is very superstition, so that's something we cling on to. And apparently 9 number 9 was a lucky number. It really did well. Lipstick shade. I'm not even sure personally, I'm not even sure if it was a proper red red. It could be, but I'm not sure a person sure. It's not in the archive somewhere. There's no Dior archive of this color? Not many of the actual color survive. Because people use them in after 70 years or 60 years. It's not maybe something that you want to keep. Peter, you need to do 9 9 9 9 red. Your red. Well, no, I don't know the reds and the really good and don't necessarily have the same number. But the advantage of 9 9 9 is because. Put that in the bad idea, George. Okay, sorry. No, the good thing about 9 9 9 is because it's such a iconic red and we relaunch it in all different formulas and finishes that we have. And that's kind of amazing because it's kind of a standard color and we did it in math in non transfer in share in metallic in velvet in certain finish in extra sparkles. I mean, in every new formula we have, we do 9 9 9. So that's, I think that's nice, because then you see the multiple possibilities of what just one core can do in makeup. Yeah, what is it about that color? Jess and I wanted to talk to you about color theory and your sense of color a little bit. Why is that red good? Does it look good on everybody or is it just because it has this history? I think there is more than one red that looks good on everybody. But I think this is one of those red that is yeah, it's just a great great red. It's not too orangey, it's not too bluish. It just stands out and whatever finish you have it, it will look good on somebody at least. You know, it's like, it's like a, I'm not saying that it's for every woman in the world, not for everybody, but for most women it will look really for fabulous. You said everybody has for few reds that look good on them. Yeah, what are some of the there are more than one reds this water won the good red in the world of reds. No, there's so many, there's so many reds in the world. Sure, but how do you get a sense of what's going to look good on a face? Like, look at Jess and I we have very different coloring. How do you approach a face and have an idea that, oh, she's going to need the warm red. She's going to need the brown red. What goes through your mind when you're doing that? Well, that's why we have more than one red in our ranges, because one red. But I bet you reach for the right one right away. Tell us about the mental math that gets you there. Because I do make a ball, so I make I know that every woman and this sounds very cliche but I'm going to say that. But every woman is unique. And I don't believe in a uniform makeup color for that matches everybody. Often ask me, well, which is the one color for everybody. Doesn't exist every woman is unique. I mean, there are colors that match a lot of women of a lot of lip shades or a lot of a lot of faces. But then that same shade might not be perfect for another face. And then you have another red that matches more. Then there's so many factors at play with a cup of matches or it doesn't matter. It's just only the way the way you wear it if you bear your red with confidence, any shade can be great on you. If you don't wear it confidence, it's yeah, yeah, it does an impact. The color of your skin, the natural undertone of your lip, the color of your teeth. I mean, if you have bright white it or a bit more like yellow on the stone in your teeth or

"And that's a strength of the art. So during the history of Dior, the DNA with each design that the DNA of the house became stronger. But also more multifaceted. And that's a strength of your debt. I mean, you just look at the history of just a fashion design that if you look at what John calliano did, and what now my graduate does, it's like two opposite worlds, but they still are Dior, and they work for the dear woman, because you can make it your own, you know? And that works also with makeup. The old woman is a multifaceted woman. She can go from very new and very, very low key makeup to exuberant reaching cause and creative and expressive. And that's a strength of the art. It's not too niche in a way. It's very particular because it means that dynamic collections have to make sure that I please to all those women and that my coach are exciting, but at the same time not too scary that the formulas are covered diversity in a mixed skin, for example, dark skin light skin men and girls, all genders, but whatever. I mean, it has to match everybody because it's a multifaceted audience that we have. Well, I think you just kind of answered it. It's diverse. It's multifaceted. It's not too narrow. The audience is branded. One of our key inspiration is quite often the gardens and roses and flowers, but the artist is not one flower. The order is a full bouquet. That's my rule. I work in that world. You know, it's like. Right, like another brand might be a precious rose. It's always a perfect red lip, and it's just like that. You've got a bouquet of deal with it, exactly. That's beautiful. I think that's actually very clear. So you touched on the over 70 year history of Dior and the fashion designers, how do you translate the fashion into makeup? Or do you not even worry about what's going on with the clothes? Technically I can't really worry about that going on the clothes because we were such a different agenda. When we were on products, we work a year two years ahead. I know that in fashion, quite often two months before the show, they kind of not really know yet when they have a basic idea, but they're much more short term and also what my situation is that I don't fashion is fascinating for our work, a locomotive and it adds an extra spice to our products, but I have to keep in mind that not everyone wants to be fashionable, but everyone wants to be beautiful, which makes my work much larger. A lot of I think, I think most of our, I mean, I don't know the numbers there, but a lot of our clients don't care about what's the latest trend in fashion, they don't know about fashion designs, but they do know that they can find a good lipstick or a great mascara. Or they want their skin to be perfect. Exactly. Some project that performs without being trendy, but just by being beautiful. Yeah. Tell us the truth here. I know, so Jess and I have both worked a fashion magazines with editors who are like, they have hard and fast rules, like we're never doing pink on the cover or whatever it is. Is there some secret rules over at Dior like never navy blue? Or is there anything that's off limits for you? No, I don't think. I don't think so. No. Not that I know of. Okay, I just. Do you also work on packaging, for example, I know with this new collection, you have the meats of Picard, inspired palette that has a leopard print, do you get to have a say in all of the outer packaging or just in the colors and stuff? Yeah, I mean, in fact, the backstage line, the way it came into the shop has literally the draft that we it's like a basic draft that we drew up like the transformation. Like those bottles and it kind of looked kind of look like that. Like almost like a collage mood board, the transparent compacts, the we did new look collection last year, which was a rooster in a hot stood. Yeah, the pool house stood a motif. Which was something. That was beautiful. That was like four or 5 years ago already. It was like in a drawer and then suddenly it came out, because it was. I love how he talks just like I have an encyclopedia of ideas here. You just let me know when you need one. Yeah, I mean, sometimes they come back, they come back after three, four years, and it's kind of exciting. Because I mean, we only have a you can't over overload with ideas. You just have to select an editor to edit out a little bit to make sure that there's not an overdose of idea. Do you have a lot of ideas kind of like squirreled away for 5 years from now, two years from now that you're going to drop on your bosses? No? No, no, it's not that I keep a secret drawer with things. I'm going to wait the right moment. No, because I think that was a reasonable question. No, it's a reasonable question, but practically a man imagine if I have a great ideas and I hide them for 5 years, it will probably take them three years before they get developed. But no, I understand. I understand. No, I understand not wanting to give everything away because then it's like sometimes then people discount them because they're like, oh, I'll pick this one and then they've seen it and then you don't want to represent it. It's better to benefit a good idea. It's better to get planned the seat and give a chance to grow than to hide it and then suddenly confront people with like oh now's the moment because then it's probably too late by the time to get launched. Okay. Yeah, I like hearing about people's creative processes. So yeah, 'cause I might be projecting, but I feel like sometimes say I'm doing a headline of a story. I give the one good one and then a bunch of bad ones and I save some other good ones just in case they like

"Our first duo, Jess and Jen episode of the new year. Peter, thank you so much for coming to hang out with us and fat mascara. I'm so happy you're here. It's my pleasure. It's my first party. Good to see you. Stop it. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it is. This is a big honor for us. Well, thank you so much for coming to FM. So you are the creative and image director for Dior makeup. But I think I need to rewind a little bit what does a creative and image director for Dior do? Well, I read many hats in my job. So I create concepts for makeup. I create the course, and I also execute the looks for the shootings and the campaigns and the shows. Collaboration with the designers, with the fashion designers, a talker to do a lot of interviews. I make sure that I am also a spokesperson, so I like to talk about the products that I create and design. I'm in contact with the labs with the marketing teams. Collected with everybody. So my time at the studio. But I'm in touch with everybody in the contact with everybody like a press marketing art direction packaging design labs, everybody. Do you have a little studio in Paris with powders and creams and colors? That kind of thing? Well, I got a studio. It's the office, actually, where I'm with my team. It's where all the artists together in one building, all the beauty. Which means skin care perfume and makeup, all in one big building. And then I'm going to tell Florida insisted we have a good light because that's key, my mind job. So I got a beautiful corner office. We know the light. Of course. Very then check all the questions all the shades. So it's full of stuff. Books, powders, and creams, as you say, inspirational material, all kinds of things that I gathered over the years. And I got a long Bigtable where my team, the marketing teams or artworks, or whoever I need to be in meetings with they come to my office or I go to their office and yeah, we work on our products. So, you know, a lot of different brands have similar roles, not quite the same to your roles. How do you think your job at your differs from the creative director role beauty role at other brands? I don't really know how other brands work. I mean, I do know before I was a channel. So I know how they work. It's the same principle, but a different mechanism. It's just internal mechanism that's different. But yeah, I don't know what the difference is with other brands. The thing is I know I'm constantly working and working in concepts. And the way I started working at Dior, the way I knew how I got my message through the best in the best way is I just keep designing and coming up with concepts. There are the concepts and the projects that are needed that are the briefs that I get from a marketing teams. Every new launch for a lipstick launcher foundation launch or Azure dose of mascara or whatever. That's kind of framed into what they need product wise. And then I feel ready with colors and maybe concepts behind it also to give it a new flare almost. And then there are concepts that come out of the blue, you know, when I'm inspired by maybe we work on one project and you think, oh, this could be a good idea for another project. And that will be I'm all into a menu and I show it to marketing teams and direction and they just have to choose and if they take, they take them, maybe it's not for now but maybe 42 years or three years and then there's a whole lot of possibilities because you can't just execute everything. For example the backstage line, the backstage line is a concept that actually came out of the blue because I'm not there for 8 and a half years and about 6, 7 years ago, we were the brand is very institutional. It's a worldwide brand. Luxury brand we are very strong in our lipsticks in our foundations and there was a fear with all the millennium brands coming up like in those days that we would lose touch and so I was starting to think like, okay, how can I approach a younger audience and what I do is I have the advantage that I have about 6, 7 times a year, a platform where I talk to journalists and influencers who come backstage to the shows. And that's a very young environment, very dynamic, very, very inspiring. It changes every once it's a mentor that it's a woman show. It's very dynamic. And even if I have a new launch of a product coming up, not even linked with this look I do for the show, I can still talk about it in a very, how do you say non pretentious spontaneous way? Like, oh, listen, I got this new thing coming out. And I know most of the journalists also have any compact stage. It's almost like, yeah, like every two three months. It's a chill chill. Exactly. And so I said, I thought, okay, like maybe that platform that I have. And the needs that I have as a makeup artist, who does shows, I don't need too many fancy products. I have to make sure that my canvas that I have to create under my look is very easy to apply easy to wear, not intimidating, diverse, and I said, maybe that's also something that young people want. And hence the developer of the backstage and body foundation, concealers, the palettes, easy to go, easy to wear, not intimidating, a range of shades which match everybody, but maybe also the middle is expensive, expensive, without losing the exclusivity of a luxury brand, but make it a bit more accessible. And that concept actually does one of the whole file of things that I, my ideal backstage products, which I would like to find in my bathroom also in the morning or I know Friends of mine would like to find in the bathroom in the morning when they do their own makeup. Which was eye patches lip patches, moisturizers, scrubs, lip scrubs. And it was a full package, and that actually does something I offered. I presented and it came just on time when that question that marketing was like, oh, but how can we stay in touch? And that was an easy sell. They got it right away. Oh, they got it right. I mean, it's about a Bible. Take like this with a lot of problems. They just have to choose, like I said, like a menu, you know? And it was sort of as a small project. And became really huge. And it actually we reached a new public. And actually reconnected also with our existing public because they saw something young in dynamic, which was totally not even in competition with the existing lines, but kind of completed it, and it just made it more contemporary, more up to date and more accessible. Yeah, I don't think there is a parallel I can think of with the other brands. So I was going to ask what I think of Dior. It is like a classic brand. But what does that mean when it comes to makeup? Like, what is something that is Dior and what is something that is not do or? Well, in the case, it's kind of this kind of tricky because if you look at the history of the art, I mean, it's been around for a while. It's over 70 years. And every design that if it's fashion perfume makeup, jewelry, every design that I joined the house was able to create its own new look.

"20 meters away, he couldn't hear him. I mean, they closed stadium on that, as I said, 50 odd thousand people. The referees got to communicate that better run over to Bernard volley, stop the stop the clock, and then say, but you've got to kick this out in the next second. Otherwise I'm going to give penalty. Once I communication comes, you're alive. But Richie, why don't I talk 95 seconds to kick a conversion? And no warning there. So now it's in the laws, but it was a really, I thought it was a ridiculous decision by the referee and a crucial time in the game where most big game referees know how crucial that last four or 5 minutes you've got to manage the game, but you've got to manage it by communicating their players. I want to see games decided by the players, not the bloke with the whistle. And if he had had his wits about him, he could have made the decision that you seed Tim horn and made the game be decided by the players themselves as opposed to his when as a referee. Therefore, he's at fault. That's my opinion anyway. Yeah, and I think but also congratulations to the all blacks. A wonderful Buddhist cup win again. They still have the school to try at the end and especially when they got the penalty with about two minutes to go reaching my longer takes the kick for touch rather than taking a potential three points to draw the game. News talk, ZB it's coming up 24 pass 5. This is a piece from the daily mail in the UK. Princes William and Harry will walk together in the procession of the queen's funeral. It's been revealed as the brothers continue to put their feuding aside out of respect for the late monarch for the second time in less than a week. The brothers will match side by side. This time in Monday's short funeral procession from Westminster hall to nearby Westminster Abbey. The brothers have up until last week, barely been seen together in public. Since the Duke of Sussex acrimonious departure from the frontline royal duties back in February 2020. But following the queen's death, the siblings appear to have enacted a truce, culminating in a walk about outside Windsor Castle last week with wives, Kate and Meghan. They walked together during Wednesday's procession of the queen's coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster hall, a sharp contrast to Prince Philip's funeral last April, when the brothers were separated by princess Anne's eldest son Peter Phillips at Monday's funeral, Harry will be flanked by his older brother, the newly titled prince of Wales and mister Phillips, as a coffin makes the short journey led by navy troops pulling a gun carriage. The three elder grandchildren of the queen will walk behind King Charles, princess Anne Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, who will lead the procession of royals of senior royals behind the late monarch's coffin behind the grandchildren will be that a late monarch's son in law, vice admiral sir Timothy Lawrence, the queen's cousin, the duke of Gloucester, and her nephew, the Earl of snowdon. It comes as it was revealed earlier how the queen state funeral will end with a two minute national silence in a fitting tribute to an extraordinary reign before she is laid to rest beside her late husband at Windsor. The king and queen's three other children will also hold a 15 minute vigil at her coffee in coffin at Westminster hall on Friday evening, London time that would make it Saturday morning our time and we may well see Harry in his military uniform, we may well see Andrew in his military uniform as well as the children stand by in a 15 minute silent visual. So I'll be keeping an eye out for that in theory. That should be happening in the next little while. News talk, a

"French. I was so excited. We did mornings at 7 eastern on Bloomberg radio and Bloomberg television. President Biden and the First Lady are arriving in London to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth on Monday. Earlier, Prince William prince Harry and 6 other grandchildren of the queen stood vigil at her coffin on Saturday. Molly hunter has the latest from London. So you see the Prince of Wales, of course, William, who's standing at the head of the coffin, you have the Duke of Sussex, Harry at the foot, both are in uniform that was at the king's request. Everyone else as you see is in dark formal dress. And then the Prince of Wales, as you can see, William is flanked by Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, and then Harry is playing by princesses Beatrice and eugenie, and then lady Louise and Viscount severan are in the middle of the coffin. Mourners continue to file by as the late monarch's 8 grandchildren stood guard for about 15 minutes, the queen is lying in state at Westminster Abbey as thousands pay their respects ahead of her funeral on Monday, President Biden and First Lady Joe Biden will join dozens of other world leaders attending the state funeral. I'm Jim Forbes. Now this Bloomberg sports update, the mets always conscious of what's happening on the school board with the Atlanta Braves. Here's what played out on Saturday. The mets were handling their own business over the Pittsburgh pirates final score in that one 5 to one. So that's an important win for the mets, but of course they're watching what the braves were doing down in Atlanta against the Phillies, Atlanta, securing a four three win. So the mets still holding on to a very slim margin of a lead over the braves, but they do get the important win on Saturday. The Yankees didn't do so well. They get a road loss in Milwaukee, the brewers win with just four hits and beat the Yankees four to one Aaron judge one of three with a double and a walk, so he is still standing pat with 57 home runs at four off of the Roger Maris record. So the Yankees and the brewers will close up the series on Sunday Garrett Cole against Jason Alexander. Football for the jets and the Giants. It's week two of the NFL season kicking off on Sunday The Giants are at home looking for their first two in O starts since 2016. Carolina is the opponent giants right now are one and a half point favorites, the Panthers did not get a lot of production out of Christian McCaffrey in week one, so see if the Panthers try to key up with him and juice up their offense in the game. That's a 1 o'clock kick-off on Sunday. The jets, they're on the road in Cleveland. Browns are favored by 5 and a half. That game will also kick off at 1 o'clock. Jets, of course, look kind of underwhelming in the season opening laws at home. Last Sunday. That's your Bloomberg sports update. I'm Dan katow ski. You're listening to Bloomberg opinion. "Is Bloomberg radio. Now a global news update. More political shuffling of illegal migrants to certain cities in America, Texas governor Greg Abbott is facing backlash now after sending 50 more migrants to vice president Kamala Harris home in Washington, D.C.. Abbott and Florida governor Ron DeSantis have angered many with their latest political moves, rounding up migrants from the Mexico border and busing them across the country under alleged false pretenses of jobs and housing. Earlier this week, the two politicians shipped about 100 migrants to Harris Washington, D.C. residents, and to Martha's Vineyard. Many lawmakers and other politicians have called the move human trafficking or kidnapping. President Biden is urging Vladimir Putin not to use nuclear weapons in the war against Ukraine in a recent sit down with 60 minutes and interviewer noted, Putin is being pushed back into a corner and may consider using chemical or tactical nuclear weapons in retaliation, he asked Biden what he would say to him. His response was clear saying quote, don't don't, don't. Biden went on to say quote, you will change the face of war and like anything since World War II, while he didn't get into specifics, the president said the severity of Putin's crime would determine what kind of response the U.S. would provide. And finally, Prince William, prince Harry and 6 other grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth stood vigil at her coffin on Saturday, Molly hunter has more from London. So you see the Prince of Wales, of course, William, who's standing at the head of the coffin, you have the Duke of Sussex, Harry at the foot, both are in uniform. That was at the king's request. Everyone else as you see is in dark formal dress. The queen is lying in state at Westminster Abbey as thousands pay their respects ahead of her funeral on Monday. And that's the latest, I'm Jim Forbes. The White House says Russia has yet to respond to an offer for a prisoner exchange involving Americans Brittany griner and Paul Whelan, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said, President Biden remains fully committed to getting the Americans out of Russian prison cells. Biden met privately yesterday with greiner's wife and waylon's sister, griner is a WNBA star and whalen is a retired U.S. Marine. Two NYU students are groped while walking through Washington square park, Lisa Salvador has the very latest. School officials tell the New York Post the two incidents happened within ten minutes of each other. The first student was grabbed on the butt around 8 30 last Monday night. The second student was grabbed on the thigh, the NYPD says the attacker pulled down the pants of one of the victims as she was running away. One victim told the cops, the man appeared to be homeless, NYU spokesman John beckman says the school has been telling police for months, Washington square park is not safe. Family Dollar is recalling certain varieties of Colgate optic white toothpaste and mouthwash in 11 states. According to a notice shared by the FDA, the products were stored outside of label temperature requirements, affected states include Arizona, California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Utah. Customers should return the products for a full refund, so far there's been no reports of adverse effects as a result of using the recalled products. And sentencing for the man convicted of murdering rapper Nipsey Hussle is being postponed until November, Eric holder was found guilty in July of first degree murder, along with two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter and possession of a firearm. He shot the Grammy winning rapper in front of his south Los Angeles clothing store back in March of 2019, and now faces life in prison, and that's the latest, I'm Jim Forbes. Now this Bloomberg sports update, the mets don't need anything flashy right now as they move into late September, they're trying to hold on to that lead in the national league east over the Atlanta Braves. The mets took care of Pittsburgh with a 5 one win on Saturday. They needed it because the braves were winning in Atlanta, a four three win over the Phillies. So every win is important for the Matt's obviously to protect that lead on the braves as the pirates and the mets will conclude the series at Citi Field on Sunday. Yankees were on the road in Milwaukee and took a four one loss last night to the brewers, no home runs for Aaron judge. He did have a double, but the Yankees really didn't have much offense, judge still at 57 home runs. Trying to get up to 61 and possibly beyond to overtake Roger Maris. Let's move on to pro football on Sunday. The Giants and the jets both back at it. The jets will be on the road in Cleveland, kicking off at 1 o'clock. Browns are favored by 5 and a half and you can understand that based on how the jets played in their week one loss to the Baltimore Ravens now the Giants they're feeling good after that come from behind win to start the season in Tennessee so on Sunday for the Giants it's their home opener. They've got Carolina at 1 o'clock. That game kicks off at the giant stadium, giants are just one and a half point favorites in that game. WNBA finals are back on Sunday with game four. It's the Las Vegas aces leading that series over the Connecticut sun two games to one an aces win will give them the WNBA championship. That's your Bloomberg sports update. I'm Dan gutowski.

"Okay, let's get into eyeshadow, because I know you have thoughts on eyeshadow, and eyeshadow palettes. What are your absolute favorite palettes on the market at the moment, neutrals, bright shades, everything. I got a list for you, okay? Santa Claus is coming to town. So, yeah, when I got my kit redone, it made me realize how much I really like these specific palettes I'm going to tell you. And these specific eyeshadows and what I use them for. So my number one go to must have in my makeup kit is the makeup by Mario master maps. This is a nude eyeshadow palette all mats, but it is the one stop shop for neutral matte eyeshadows. The blendability is perfect. The pigmentation payoff is perfect. He did amazing with this entire palette. So I have already bought three and I will continue to buy more if need be. So that is number one, then I would say Dior eyeshadow palettes. So Dior eyeshadow palettes are so blendable in the pigment is so crazy strong that when you take a brush and you tap it into whatever color, let's pretend it's a blue, which I do really love a blue eyeshadow palette from the map, tell you in a second. But if you just pick up the blue, just a tiny, tiny bit, you can use that little tiny bit that you picked up all over the eye and make like an entire smokey eye with dimension with just that little bit that you picked up just one time. So that is why I love the Dior eyeshadow palettes. They're very smooth and blendable. My top favorite Dior eyeshadow palettes are the blue eyeshadow palette from them. It's like a quad, well, it's not a quad because there's 5. What would that be curves? It's not the backstage, right? It's like the actual Dior. Exactly. Yeah, I've never actually tried the backstage cribs. I know you have the backstage. I've never actually tried them. I love them. I need to try it. I actually really wanted to try it back at your house, but it wasn't a day for neutrals, you know? Going to the half magic was not a day for neutrals. Peter Phillips knows what he's doing. Does he ever? So the blue eyeshadow palette is the two 7 9. The most used eyeshadows from their neutral palettes that I use are 6 two 9 and then 5 19. One is like more of a mustardy, really light kind of yellowy Brown, in a sense. And then the other one is more of a warmer, your typical regular degular neutral palette. And then they have this fuchsia pink that I want to encourage everybody to get the blue and or the pink. It is so beautiful. It's like the perfect fuchsia color. And like I said, the blend abilities really nice. So it makes it really nice if you're really intimidated by color opt for a really good brand of eyeshadow because if you're gonna see your first time using blue eyeshadow, you don't wanna just cheap out and get like some $5 eyeshadow palette and then you apply it and then it looks crappy because then it's gonna turn you off from using color any other time. So invest in your colors, honey. It may not feel like it, but fall is fast approaching. We're still feeling the heat, but we're ready for a change, and that also applies to our beauty routines. Celebrate the new season by heading to Ulta Beauty right now. Sarah, I am pretty thrilled with clinique's even better clinical serum foundation. Oh my God, me too. So I've been really into lightweight coverage lately, so skin tints have been my jam, but then I tried this foundation and it's really, really good. I love the coverage. You can shear it out or go a little heavier, which helps conceal things like blemishes or melasma. It feels lightweight on the skin, which is great for hot, sweaty temperatures. If you know, you know, and it helps give my skin this really nice smoothing effect. Cosine 100% while Kirby and I don't really look for skin care in our foundations. We love that this contains hyaluronic acid to plump the skin and also this molecule that is exclusive to clinique, UP three O two, which helps with dark spots. It just makes my skin look really luminous and even toned when I wear it. I am not mad at it. And it lasts all day, so I'm a fan. It comes in 42 different shades. That's really well dot com slash glos Angeles for 20% off your next at home lab test. Every well dot com slash glos Angeles. With that said, my next number one, my most used bright color eyeshadow palettes would be from vizier honey, this yard. They're like makeup artists go to hands down, but I feel like not a lot of people know about them. They are a little bit more on the pricier side, but they have this palette. It's called the zero 8 editorial bright. So it has, I don't know, let's pretend it's like 18 or maybe 16 eyeshadows on there, but they're all almost neon bright colors. And I love to use this with a mixing medium. Like when I do bright editorial looks, I love to use this palette and I can mix it with a different mixing medium and create eyeliner out of the eyeshadow colors. I can mix it with a different mixing medium, make colored mascara. It's a perfect staple to have in any makeup artist kit because the person you'll be blown away by how many times you show up to set and you think you're gonna do a neutral eye and then it's all of a sudden. They want bright purple or like a neon yellow or something. So that's a great one to have in your kit. Okay, you touched on this a second ago, but can you talk a little bit more about the difference between a high quality eyeshadow and one where you're like, this is because you don't have to spend a ton of money to get a good quality product. No, definitely not. There are so many good ones out there. But the way that you can tell if something is just like cheap in the sense of quality

"Said that you'd notice a lack of playfulness in the industry when you entered. And you were coming in with a very different perspective. Now, that was ten years ago. Fast forward to today, do you still feel there's a lack of playfulness? No way. I mean, it's amazing now. I have to comment on all the amazing makeup artists that when I did get into makeup at the beginning were very inspiring, like Alex box. Pat McGrath. She's my parents, Alex. Oh, she's so great. She was a huge inspiration to me because she really was doing a lot of really amazing kind of colorful painting, interesting work, bal Garland, obviously, Peter Phillips, topolino, there's like loads of people, you know, so to say people was doing were doing boring stuff is not fair because they really were. But I think maybe in hindsight we're talking like ten years ago, maybe what I brought to it was just a kind of a bit more of an uneducated approach, a kind of an outsider approach where I was sort of tackling the face, not as a face to take the makeup, but make up to take a face. So I was trying to abstract the face all the time. I was kind of putting paint and almost not even using the face in the way it kind of maybe should have been. And I think that just was a slightly different perspective. And it was really young. I was like, I was 20. And I think they were, you know, just that sort of playful attitude. Maybe came through. Yeah. You mentioned that shoot where you were like, the clay cleaner and painter. And there was the proper makeup artist. Was that like a breaking moment where you decided to make the switch or did you have a big break where like ID then booked you as the face painter, not the body painter? Like, what was your big break? Well, after that, I got booked by designer called Christopher Shannon in British designer, he did menswear. And I and I did face painting in his shows, and I drew the I painted these kind of landscapes on the model's faces as they were going down the runway, like sunsets and stuff. And backstage I met and I make a part is called Adam de Cruz, and he was like, what is this girl doing? Like, I've never seen this kind of thing before. And he was like, look, do you want to do you want to join me on set for a day? You can see how I work and you can show me some of your techniques. So we kind of did that and I went and he showed me how to conceal and do a little bit of kind of basic stuff. And then I showed him some of my blending and doing other things, whatever in the body painting style. And then I just kind of, I don't even know really what came next. I think I just was in a circle where there were photographers and people around me who were testing and working for free and doing shoots and it was amazing like creative time in London where everybody was just working for free and testing all the time. And I just kind of, yeah, linked up with some people and brought my very small kit. To certain stuff and just kind of went from there, really. Is your kit still small? No, my kids. My kids like, oh like 70 a like 90 kilos or something, 80 kilo. Oh wow. In multiple roles, how do you travel? Yeah, I carry it and these like Burton snowboard, suitcases, my friend and mother makeup artist, so she loves those bags. Oh, they're the best, yeah. So yeah, sometimes snowboard bag. Who are some of the other people at this time in London that you're collaborating with at this point, you've collaborated art, musicians, other makeup artists. What are some that feel really personal to you? I mean, I think some of the post like all kind of testing and whatever. Some of my sort of biggest breaks I think were the beginning with ID magazine. And I did some great shoots with Daniel sandwood. Where we did and Simon foxton the stylist where we were kind of, I got to, I got to do a lot of really cool painting stuff I like tattooed, all these funny sort of characters all over a boy, and then I did this prosthetic lizard face for another shoot for interview magazine and interview magazine also I did quite a lot of fun stuff for and it really was like every time I got booked, there was something really like full on colorful, crazy. And that was really nice. And then shows as well. I remember Aggie and Sam. I did these LEGO masks where I was like, the whole thing was inspired by kind of kids, and so I was like, how would kids approach your face? Well, they probably just chuck something at it, wouldn't they? And just see what lands. So that's kind of what I did. I chucked LEGO at face and just stuck it where it kind of landed and so it was all just about kind of exploring interesting ways of approaching the face, I guess. So now you're talking about your vibe is so different than really any other makeup artist that we've certainly interviewed. And we've contributed a ton of makeup artists. You have a really singular vision, you know, no one else is talking about shocking Legos at a face. For fashion show, you know? But you're talking about in the beginning, like you're working these very editorial gigs and now you've worked with so many massive corporate designers and corporate fashion houses that are.
