"Against either right state or Bryant. We don't know who yet. Friday, 7 27 p.m. easterns in San Diego. You're going to be able to watch it on truTV. Disrespectful. Number one, Arizona. TruTV. Disrespectful. I just give we're obviously recording this Wednesday before we get to Bryant state. Listen, write state moving along would be fine. I want Peter kiss versus Kirk, again, swag. Kurt Kris is dead. Sir swag cap. I want Kirk Reese's smack talking from the bench Peter kiss. Swag capital of this bracket, okay? There are no two players that are more arrogant and cocky than these two. Give me Brian versus Arizona. I have Arizona winning and covering no matter who's playing and what the line is. Hidden with his crutch. Yay. You might literally throw it at him. He threw his shoes in the stands out for Arizona when the PAC 12 title. So I think we're both going to have Arizona moving on, but obviously there's no number on the game yet. So just Arizona to move on. Came to south regional number 8 seat in hall. Number 9 TCU Friday 9 57 p.m. eastern in San Diego. Appropriately on truTV. Okay. I mean, it just is. All right, so we got frogs versus pirates. Hot frogs are one point favorites. Pirates. Shouts to born on a pirate ship. Old apartment, great song off that barenaked ladies album, para I'm sure spends it all the time. Fading memories blending into del Tableau. You know what I'm saying? JP, right? Here we go. I will go, I will go, I will go TCU both here. Jamie Dixon, we got a lot of coaches guiding their Alma maters to the NCAA tournament. Dixon's like one of 12 or more. There's a lot of those. I will take TCU to win in a complete coin flip as far as I'm concerned. The wrong team favored. Oh, it is. The wrong team favorite situation. You know how this usually goes for you though? Yeah. I know how everything usually goes for me. Kevin will or lose in this game. Last game at seton hall? Oh man. No shortage of buzz that Willard really is the number one guy for Maryland at this point. I will say no, I will say Kevin Willard is still a seat and hall. But that is that's for me that might be a wrong team favorite situation as well, but I will say no. Game three, south regional. Number 5 Houston against number 12 UAB, Friday, 9 20 p.m. eastern in Pittsburgh. You can watch it on TNT, the cougars are 8 and a half point favorites. I flipped on this. I had Houston, I'm going to give a shout out right now to shot quality. How about this? Put up a graphic a couple of days ago. Only four teams in the NCAA tournament field rank in the tournament's top 15 in transition scoring volume and their efficiency and transition. The four teams are Gonzaga, a one seed, Kansas a one seed, Arizona once and you may be a 12. That's a joke. That's an absolute joke. It's single handedly flipped me on this game. I am taking UAB to win, obviously to cover and doing so. Houston is a 5 is fine. Houston hasn't beaten a ton of really good teams this season. Andy Kennedy's got a really, really solid team. Jelly walker said afterward. We don't care. He had a great quote, man. I wish I had the audio to play at the frankly. We don't have the time and do we have the trust that you're even going to hear it if I do it. That's an inside joke of anyone literally just discovered this podcast two shows ago. So I can't have a jelly walker. I love this dude. Incredible story. Not short on confidence. Give me Andy Kennedy and the blazers to blaze in to the second round. Of course, we've got a 12 over 5 situation. It's going to happen somewhere at least once. We'll see if it's here. I think it will be. This is a conference USA. I grew up in. It's a conference USA matchup. I was raised in these conference USA streets. I was born in the metro, but I was raised in C USA. I almost did it, but I've taken Houston to win the game. UAB to cover. You can't give jelly walk right in a half points. That's ridiculous. Game four, south regional, number four, Illinois, number 13 Chad anuga, Friday 6 50 p.m. eastern in Pittsburgh. You can watch that on TNT. Illinois, 7 and a half point favorite. Last time nougat. Made the sweet 16 was 25 years ago. 7 and a half. This one is a tricky, tricky number. By the way, we are squeezed for time. GP's got to take a flight, but I'm being told by the bosses. We have a better live number right now by far than any. I will take when GP scoots out of here, I will take a few questions at the end of the show for the live audience because you guys are like a huge number right now. So we are tight. I will do that at the end because GP's got to catch a flight here. I will take Illinois to win. I will take nuga to cover so calm, by the way, Tina's never won a game, see the 13th, a little fact for you. Give me Illinois to win, but Chattanooga to cover this will be close. Game, oh, I got did I pick it? No, Illinois to win Chattanooga to cover. Inflated line. I don't know, I don't know if it actually is, but I agree though. Okay. Game 5, south regional. Number 6 Colorado state. Gets number 11 Michigan Thursday, 1215 P of eastern Indianapolis. You can watch it on CBS. Some funny business going on. Funny business right here, 6 succeed, two and a half point underdog to the 11 seed Michigan wolverines. Funny business. All right, a couple quick notes on this one. You're gonna see at least 5 shots of Ali farook manesh in this game. Why? Because the former northern Iowa legend who be Kansas, the number one overall seed, you know, what is a 12, 13 years ago at this point. He's an assistant at Colorado state. So you will get plenty of you can't be serious with that shot. Coming here in this one, Colorado state finally got a plane. I believe it's on the ground in Indianapolis. I reported that out late Monday night, but they got that done. I am going to go Michigan both and I think it's against my better judgment. I will take Michigan in the spot. Michigan, by the way, with 14 losses, has the most of any team in the field that is a rare situation where the team with the most losses in the field is from a power conference. That is true, but I will go with Michigan because I'm not sure how Colorado state will match up with hunter Dickinson, other GP you can easily retort how will Michigan match up with one David roddy. Nobody matches up with David roddy. You want to play him down by the ram. He's too strong. 6 5 two 50. Oh, you want to get out in space? He'll bounce and pull it on you. Mount west conference player of the year. I'm going Colorado state..

"Really do. When I look at this region, other opportunities, yeah, there are opportunities for upsets, but I look at this and I say Arizona's got a pretty good path. I think their biggest challenge is potentially could be Illinois. Obviously, the mountain mass gradient is a man known as Kofi coburn, Tennessee, the SEC champions who maybe get up and underneath them. But when I look at this bracket and obviously Villanova who just wears you down with their toughness in their culture, what your guys take on to bracket. Well, I think Arizona has got a very good path at the top of the bracket. And that's really what you have to worry about initially. So if they beat the winner of right state and Bryant and Bryant has the nation's leading Sequoia and Peter kiss, who Bill we're after he would have loved. The kiss kiss with the kiss. And then they would, if they advance there, which I expect them to advance, they get the winner of seat and hall TCU and as well as TCU has played. I like seton hall. I think seton hall's got a great chance to win that game. But Arizona's better. And they can play at different tempos. They're better defensively. I think the Houston UAB game is interesting with jelly walker, scoring so many points and being so dynamic and unafraid against a Houston team that has dealt with injuries, but they're big and they're good defensively. But the bottom of the bracket is a black and blue region. Because there are so many so many teams that can play really good defense and they can be physical. I think the upset in that the bottom half of the bracket is loyal to Chicago, Ohio State. Ohio State's better, but better doesn't always win against loyal Chicago because they're so hard nosed and so good defensively and so I favor loyal to Chicago to win that game. Yeah, they upset I see you there and it's not really an upset because it's Michigan, Colorado state. David roddy and Isaiah Stevens are two terrific players. Stevens, a terrific guard that can do so much off to dribble, David ride is 6 5 6 6, 255 pound undersized power forward that can do just about everything out there on the floor. But hunter Dickinson is hard to guard to deal with and guard. They have no one who can match up with him. And with him starting to make that little 15 foot jump shot from the foul line makes it difficult to match up for them. Yeah, I'm all over the 6 11s. I have every 6 11. I got the 11 when it all four of them. And I think Michigan is one of those. I think that Caleb used some starting to play a little bit better than take better care of the basketball. Just in talking to coaches in the mountain west and say the one thing about cholera state is a struggle with real size and let's face it. Dickinson is real size. Disagree a little bit, you know, just with Loyola Houston, I think he's a toss up. Alkyl random to me, if he can embrace his first NCAA tournament, maybe his only NCAA tournament, obviously we know how good EJ Liddell is their guards just got to show up..

"Let's make sure we're getting the bag. Totally understand that part of the two and a lot of these schools are using basketball and buy games for getting a $100,000 to go play at high majors during the year to fund the rest of the athletic program. And I'm sympathetic to that. I get that they have different needs than attritional mid to high major. I just want those kids to get like a little bit of shine and not worry about playing. Another team before they go play one of the top four teams of the country. Yeah, no, like the idea of it is definitely like I agree with like the idea of it. I think you're a 100% right on that. It's just like there is like an interesting administrative behind the scenes like monetary function. Also like these teams get like Peter kiss on Tuesday or Wednesday night on Saturday plays. Peter kiss is gonna be a fucking superstar for a night. Wow. And there's gonna be no game superstar slash villain, right? Because as Americans, as college basketball fans, we can act like we don't like it. We want to see a villain. We want to root against a guy. We have been bred and born and raised to hate JJ Redick to hate Marshall Henderson to hate Grayson Allen. And now you're here in Peter kiss, who is so hated. He was not, he led the nation scoring 25 points per game 30 plus points for games last ten or 11. He was not voted as conference player of the year through the number one seed in the northeast conference. Alex Brown from Wagner had a great year. Nothing against him. This kid leads the nation scoring, but it has such this negative vibe from other teams and schools and you get it when you watch and play every dunks like a swear, a flip off of this, it's all too much, but you're gonna watch. I'm gonna watch that game. Sometimes the first forum, like, ah, I got it on the background. I'm not really, I'm into it. I'm gonna turn it into Bryant right state. No doubt about it. Oh, I'm ready. I am like full on ready for people to like, this is the first time that 95% of people that have watched or that are gonna watch that game will have seen Peter kiss. They're in for an experience. Was he on quit API? Did he play a Rutgers? Yeah, so he's there. He's a 50 year senior, after 30 games, just let him go. Just let him rock..

"He gonna have to talk to rap about that. Dude, and then okay, in all seriousness though, they kind of got lucky With that fight situation, you had this throng of Bryant fans who, by the way, like you're hyped up, I get it. I've been to NEC title games plenty of times. Again, the NEC does it right. The higher seed always hosts every tournament game that gives you the best odds, the best chances of sending your best team to the tournament, which you should want. If you're a mid major league, so I love the way the NAC does it and those home court environments. They're just incredible. I've been to them. I've been to them at Wagner. I've been to them at LIU, Brooklyn. They're incredible, but Bryant fans were out like harassing the Wagner players as they got off the bus to go into the gym. To the point where it was overboard. They were way too fired up, and then you have the small Wagner support section that is right up against the Bryant students. They're going to have to rethink that whole thing. And then they kick all the Wagner fans out and I don't know how many Bryant, if any got kicked out. It could have been real ugly. It was just ugly and they had to delay it for 30. I didn't even know if they were going to continue the game. And credit to Bashir mason, who's been there for ten years, if he had decided, I'm not putting my players back in this situation, I would have completely understood. But credit to the players at Wagner and Bashir mason for finishing out finishing out the game, getting it done, and then Brian gets its first tournament bid in its history under Jared grosso in its history period. We got to put Peter kiss in the first floor. Okay. You want him on that stage. Same thing as everything else. You put him on Thursday, Friday. Yeah, he just gets lost in the 25 point defeat. Put him in the first four, everybody's watching it because there's nothing else to watch. Great. Well, the 16s are rarely ever like, you got to see him. Peter kisses the exception to the rule. Dude was wearing a kiss shirt as in the band in his warmups before the game. The Jared had to calm him down. I had to tell him to stop. I know, he did. He was like, he's like, all right, that's enough. That's enough. The last time we saw something like this is Marshall Henderson, basically. That's the vibe I got. Agreed? Yeah, that's who he is. Yeah. Mine is like, you know, prison. Minus prison? Yeah. I don't think he's ever been to prison. Okay, fair enough. Yeah, but just in terms of on court demeanor overall. But I hope the NEC doesn't change its tournament format. I don't think it will. But, you know, they had brought all the chairs out onto the floor. They had to get all these people out of there. They had like 12 police officers. You just got to be smarter about it. You can't put you can't put visiting fans next to the student section. It's a little bit like your bathroom and Durham. Poorly designed. It was, and the thing is with these small gyms, though, man, that was a wall of Bryant fans. Listen, they're liquored up, they're geared up to hyped up. I get all that. It wasn't a great night for the NEC, which normally has a really, really nice conference tournament. And again, I prefer the form at the NBC goes with if you're the higher seat of team, you host the tournament game no matter the round you're in. And so there we are. But I'm with you on Peter kiss man. He leads the country in scoring. He showed up ready for that game. And he dominated and he helped Bryant, which Bryant, by the way, is only been in division one. I think since I'm checking right now, I think since O 8, yes, it's O 8 O 9. And they beat Wagner. I think they're going to be a 16 seed Peter kiss goes for 34 points. He showed up in a major way. We got a couple of minutes before palm comes in real quick. Bellarmine wins in the a sun. And I've heard I've heard and seen everyone say, so now Jacksonville state, which was the regular season champion is going to go. Why is this a rule? Why is this a rule? I might be on an island here. I think that the team should be able to play in their conference tournaments. But I got no issue with them not going to the NCAA because the one of the major reasons this rule is in place, wouldn't you agree? There's too many teams in division one parish, too many things, right? Sure. Well, then wipe them out. I'm ready to wipe out to 200 of them. Well, I'm not ready to outrageous. I ready to Thanos half a division one. I am. I know you are. I would say it's too bloated by about 80 to a hundred schools, but I got you. I got you. 200. But the point is, one of the major reasons this rule is in place is to prevent a flood of 400 plus division one schools because you have to meet certain criterions and one and one of the reasons that they say, okay, if you really want to do this, are you willing to go, it used to be 5 years now, it's four years of ineligibility in the postseason because they don't want all of these schools trying to jump from D three to D two to D one. That's a big reason why it's in place. So I don't have an issue with it. D one's already too big. We have like two more teams coming to D one next season. We don't need anymore. So I get it Bellamy's awesome. It'd be great if they had their moment, but I'm fine with them playing in the conference tournament and really the way the ace undid it. A reward your best regular season team if bellarmine eligible team winds up winning it. So that's a big reason why I get why you might be like, just let them in, but it's in place, so we don't have 437 division one teams. That's a major reason why that rules in place. I guess at this point, I would say, who cares? We have three 58 now. Who cares if it goes to four 30? Like what is the difference between that? Practically speaking, what is the difference between three 58 and four 30? I might have downstream effects. That's a lot of teams. That's a quad 5 games we're getting to that point. You're the only person who would be affected by 'cause you gotta rank all these idiot teams. Every present. Oh, 100%. This directly affects you. The reason you're against it is because you're against it. For me, here's the truth. Until the past two days, I don't even look at those teams. So if we go to the fear is, what if you look at one day and you got 400? Who cares? I'm only paying attention to 26 anyway. I watched 20 16s. And Peter kiss, that's all I do. Engineer Nelson.

"Jerry pot will be here in 15 minutes. In the meantime, since we last talked, Gonzaga has secured that I'm one overall seed in the NCAA tournament. We think they beat saint Mary's on Tuesday night. Chattanooga has made the NCAA tournament. In spectacular fashion, Georgia state has made the NCAA tournament. Right state has made the NCAA tournament. Peter kiss? We got to get out of here quick today, GP, but on the back end of this after palm, we got to spend at least two minutes on Bryant and Peter kiss. Keep going. Peter kisses amazing. Brian's in the NCAA tournament. Jameer, Nelson junior, in Delaware, have made the NCAA tournament and my South Dakota jackrabbits are in the NCAA tournament. He's been a fun couple of days, and the deadline. He just called him the South Dakota Jack rabbits. Rabbits. You know, I'm gonna get banned from Brooks. You might get banned. Hey, real quick on that? So I did headquarters last night overnight. And then I go back down. Scott van pelt show accidentally accidentally showed the San Diego state logo and apparently two years ago in the South Dakota state fans got on him. So he had to interrupt his show for like four minutes and it was doing all this stuff to apologize. So I'm just staying on you. South Dakota state. Jackrabbits. Jack rabbits. South Dakota state jackrabbits. Have advanced to the NCAA tournament. The Ukraine jackrabbits were being in a war. There we go. Yes, yes, yes, they very much do. Yeah, how about, listen, Gonzaga, we'll touch on the kazakhs. I'm going to ask you, you mentioned number one overall seed. I'm going to ask Paul about that. As well. I have to at least acknowledge the phenomenal ending between Chattanooga and Furman. Furman has finished in the top three of the sokan 7 consecutive seasons. It's made championship games. It hasn't danced since 1980. And it hits a layup with four and change to go 4.3 seconds to go. And perish. This is why we love this month. Now, Chattanooga's been a really good team for most of the season. It was the best team in the so con. So, you know, on balance on the whole, it deserves to be dancing there, but my oh, my oh, my, my man. What an absolute shot. David Jean Baptiste, an all timer. And by the way, I guess he's a 5th year senior. It's just incredible. We've actually had a lot of really good mid major championship games since we started this whole deal on Saturday night with Murray state beaten morehead state. You know, we're approaching a dozen bids automatic bids that have been handed out. We have one more on Wednesday night and oh, by the way, navy will play Colgate in a one versus two patriot league matchup on CBS Sports Network. I actually wish that these leads can figure this out better. There's one automatic bid tonight and like the big conference tournaments are starting and they're fine. We got a couple of teams that we're going to talk about that are in bubble spots. You're playing Wednesday. There are 15 automatic bits you can hand out on Saturday. Why not just spread it out? I totally get it Thursday and Friday. You have so many really good big conference games. If there's no auto bids on Thursday Friday GP, I'm totally good with that. But can we squeeze in like two more on a Wednesday night? Because you just have this cram and I don't know, I feel like if you're a mid major conference, you get a little bit just a little bit more lost in the shuffle on a Saturday than you would if you were say playing your championship game tonight, but otherwise it's been it's been phenomenal and congrats to Chattanooga for firm and that's completely heartbreaking. Just so eviscerating stuff to lose the way you lost because that three pointer was like 15% at best kind of shot that gene pappy's hit and we will see Lamont Paris mocks in the turning next week. I bet you it's less than 15%. It might be because the way that they brought that up again, no time out, amazing. That's why the don't advance the ball on a timeout is amazing college basketball for exact plays like that. I'm with you on these one bit leagues, they should be, if possible, on Monday night Tuesday night Wednesday night. Because by the time we get to Thursday, we are engulfed in power conference stuff. There's bubble games in the quarterfinals of some power conference tournament. And you get, once we get to Thursday, we're not paying attention to this stuff anymore. But on Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, these one bit leagues are amazing. And they get more attention. How many people know Peter kiss today that didn't know Peter kiss yesterday? It's literally in the hundreds of thousands. If not more, because of what happened there. Because of what happened. I mean, do you want to just push off the Gonzaga stuff and talk major till we get palm here 'cause I'm you know I'm game. Yeah, what is it to say about Gonzaga? They're also beginning they're the number one overall seed and they're the betting favorite to win the national. I don't want to ask Paul when he comes on. If Baylor wins the big 12 tournament with more quads, it could possibly maybe be the number one overall seat. I'm not convinced Gonzaga absolutely 100% has it. Last palm that in a few minutes here, you're right about Bryant, I want to talk about Brian talked about bellarmine. Okay, first of all, Peter kiss, yes. He is your exact kind of player. He's the nation's leading score and has his name is Peter kiss. Dude, dude makes Kurt krissa look like a humble choir boy, okay? He can not get enough of himself. Peter kiss loves him, Peter kiss. And yes, I know Bryant might go to Dayton for the first four. I get all that might happen. Which would be awesome, by the way. Which would be awesome. Put him on that stage. Yes, but if that happens, please, you have to feed him into Bill rafter he's call if they make the first round earnestly improper, you know? Peter kiss with a kiss. You have to have raftery on the call. This needs to be done, okay? I don't think rath worked in the first floor. No, but I'm saying if Bryant wins has a 16, whatever one 16 game raf might be calling, let's have him on it. How can you not? I think he gonna have to talk to rap about that. Dude, and then okay, in all seriousness though, they kind of got lucky.

"Let's just put this out there. Maybe like an intro to. It's not like people say like, how did you guys kiss? So difficult. I love being the tallest bitch in the room. I've come and Tapping everybody on their mother. It's time. I'm always nervous though when they put it in the scalp that they're gonna find that soft spot that babies have and it's gonna go straight into my brain. Do you still think you have your softbox? Being a flake. Being act like my fault. Sorry about that, then. It's snowball. Look, he was high as doing this. Look forward. Slide into bed with us, starting right now. Welcome to nightly pop. I am afraid you guys to make any set of movements because I don't want to scare anyone away. I know. But the three of us are back together. Until I pop this baby out. All right, let's get started because the daily mail just did Tom hall and dirty after last night's Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere. We don't like it. They pointed out he's only 5 8 and had to wear heeled boots to match the whole point on the red carpet. Well, the couple recently addressed their height difference on SiriusXM's town hall. In far from home when MJ and Peter kiss. And Zendaya, you're taller than Tom. And it became this thing. And I thought that much more. Let's just put this out there. Maybe like an inch or two at us. It's not like people say like, how did you guys kiss? So difficult. It's a nice sweet moment between them. It is very sweet, yeah. You know? And I hate the often having to cheat it and pretend like why not put me on an Apple ball? What is it? I honestly never thought of it as a thing. Because my parents were always that way, so I didn't know that people cared. Until life, you know? But before that, I had no, I have no. Construct of it. Oh. Her mom is taller than her dad. Yeah. She grew up. She's a tall girl. And so she's just like, it's not a thing. How's who are you? I'm 5 ten. Are you? Yeah, yeah. You're like jit 5 ten. Yeah. The thing is, no one admits that they're 5, ten. They either say they're 6 foot or they admit their 5 time. And honestly, these days, like it does not matter to me, like the height difference doesn't matter. I mean, let's not get crazy, you know? Like 5 four might be too short for me. But like, I can do with the 5 7. I'm 5, 8 and a half, without heal. But so with heels, you know, I'm pretty tall. And I always have heels on. Yeah, I guess it doesn't matter if he was unbelievable and he was like an orthopedic surgeon or something. I don't know. Okay, interesting. Do it. I'm like, when I was younger, I was like, no, he has to be tall. He has to be, you know, a lot thick, he got to be able to, you know, but yeah, I'm like, hey, whatever. Whatever. The tallest girl I ever went on a date with was 6 foot. And she when she bent down to hug me. She. By the way, she was wearing the flattest flats I've ever seen in my entire life. I have a girlfriend who's taller than me. She's 5 9, and she will only wear a kitten heel. 5 9 is nice. Or flask. Because 5 9 without shoes. She's right. Which she hates towing over. And I love that. I eat that up. I love being the tallest bitch in the room. I've come and Tapping everybody on the mother. It's time. Yeah, embrace it. Like, who cares? Yeah, plus if a girl doesn't wear heels, what's she gonna step on my throat with? And Mariah Carey is telling Us Weekly she would love if there were no rules in her house because she wants to be the cool mom. They're so cute. They are very cute. But unfortunately, sometimes she has to be the bad guy. Would I mean come on? No rules. There's rules, not even for your children. I mean, you have rules just for yourself. For guests that come over for people that help you with things for people that work for you. There's always rules, right? For sure. There has to be. It has to be something that I should be living like hunter. You need a you know my house has a rules. My house is like, no, I don't know that. Yeah, you do. What? We'll see you back at your house, that I would know of. Like, we're to put your clothes away stuff like that. You are so ready to start with this. You are not doing this into the new year. We're not doing this in the new year. We're doing it right now. Okay. I don't think I'm going to be like the easygoing parent, but I am going to be the cool parent. They raise millions of dollars of people mistakes in arizona that were suffering from effective koga but being basically ignored by the government and So there was you know and the irish people really rose to the occasion and remembering what the choctaw people did here during this during famine times says no called in in middleton.
