"So we did that. And then of course, like I mentioned dynamite was on the Saturday, so Tony was awesome, Tony Kahn was awesome to, you know, you could definitely use orange Cassidy and Britt baker and we'll work around them because you know if you notice our show and some people bag on us from it on dynamite, sometimes we have 40 50 60 talents on there. So if you want to, if he's going to let some people work on my cruise, we kind of have to figure out what's going to be going on that week and what can we do as far as maybe doing pre taped interviews, et cetera? I know Britt had some pre tape interviews on there. I had done rampage, which aired when we were on the boat. So we tried to just put together the best lineup we could. And the first thing I saw as soon as orange was ready, 'cause I always tried to do something kind of special for my match on the cruise. I only wrestle once because I have so many things to do and I'll read the multi upcoming. But first year, of course, was the box of Jericho. That was the Young Bucks and Chris Jericho versus Cody, Marty stele and Daniel omega. Year two was myself, the inner circle myself and Santana Ortiz versus jungle boy luchasaurus or Marco stunt. That was, I believe the main event for the show that week on dynamite and then of course this year we did orange Jericho, which is I thought that would a perfect combination of Chris Jericho orange Cassidy, something that you won't see anywhere else but on the boat and originally it was going to be against spears and wardlow. And then I was like, or it could be against Hobbs and Ricky Starks, kind of a team task type thing. So Tony said, let's do it with Hobbs and starts because pretty much guaranteed they'll be on the boat. Other guys I'm still working around storylines and that sort of thing too. So and you know, being on the cruise and having me on board and having a match, it's always kind of cool for me. That's what I want to do something different. And that's also if you guys remember last year on the second wave is when we first had the first singing of Judas. And it is still one of the coolest moments of my life where we came to the ring for our match and this was actually on dynamite. And people were singing Judas. Super loud. And I'll never forget that feeling of walking down the aisle way of a big ramp that we have a big stage set now, which we didn't have the first year. Walking down the ramp play on the cruise that I created that bears my name for the wrestling company that I helped get on the map and help create, especially at the time. I think I was the champion, too, as well. That's right. I was the world champion. And number three to the ring song that I sang and helped create as well. So it was no pun intended triple whammy of the wrestling company that cruise ship and the song all directly related to me and having everybody sing that as one of the biggest moments of my career and the fact has become kind of part of the show and I was like, I was not in St. Louis this past week and there's people who were angry at me because they wanted to sing Judas, you know? So, then we just started putting together this awesome roster for AW and like I said, who can I use? Well, obviously this is the one year that Kenny and the Young Bucks hangman page those guys have been in the first two. And they weren't on this one. And some people were like, why is Kenny and where's the box? My thing is, we don't want the same guys every year. And in year one, also for Ring of Honor, Kenny and the bucks and those guys were not as big stars as they are now. You know, just like last year, Britt baker, she became a star on the Jericho cruise. MJF don't really knew much about him. Sammy Guevara, same thing. So every year as it progresses, I'm sure next year will Hobbs or Ricky Starks will be main eventing. And orange Cassidy will be in more of the main event. So we take the people that we can use. And we help them become even bigger. And obviously, orange and Britt were huge on this cruise, but so many people just stood up, Peter Avalon was awesome. You know, we had the wingman on and we'll talk a little bit more about them. Chaos project always does a good job. Anna Jay, Chris statlander, Wheeler, you to Chuck Taylor. I mean, you get these guys Isaiah Cassidy. You get these guys that don't have a lot of house show experience. And that's basically what the cruise is. It's like a four day house show loop, which in WWE is something that we would just do every single week. No big deal. If you've got to keep in mind, in AW, we're just working every Wednesday. That's it. So to do shows that are non televised, even though we did tape them, and I'll talk about that in a second. It just gives everybody a chance to have some fun. We had I think sunny kiss. And maybe Isaiah, I can't remember, did a dance contest, which was great during the match. I think Frankie challenged she's a benoni to a drinking contest and sees a drank a whole bottle of vodka and then couldn't get up off the mat, which was hilarious. Just stuff that you won't see anywhere else. And that's what people I think really enjoy about the Jericho cruise. It's a little bit more laid back. And you're just having fun. It's all about having fun. So the crew that we had was a great collection of guys and girls who really embraced that and understood what it was that we were doing. And that to me was the reason why another one of the reasons why number three, the triple whammy could be the best one out of all of them that we've had. And then joining and I made a deal that will advertise all these guys and it was about 36 talents from AW and just shows how great our roster is due because this is guys that weren't even on dynamite that were still huge names and on top of that, dynamite EW even added a dark taping at Universal Studios that weekend. I remember I called Chris Harrington, who's one of the guys behind the scenes. Are you trying to give me a heart attack? You're not only do I have to put together a roster. That is on, you know, not going to be on dynamite. And now you're doing dark as well and he's like, dude, our roster is so deep that we can handle this. And you think about a dynamite was great that week, the cruise matches were great that week. And the dark matches were great that week just to show how much we have going for us. Getting down to the last week, all the names that we had advertised them, like I mentioned, there was a 30 odd of them. The only ones we had to replace at the end were wardlow and spears and Lance archer. That was it, because don't even need them for the limiter tournament and ward low in spears were involved with the MJF story. And we got Brian cage, Isaiah Cassidy and helico in return, which to me, that's great. And those guys did a great job and just really had just this amazing crew all the way across the board. And some people like The Rock and roll express.

But even they had said and they were pretty excited for the cruise eight. They had a great time but even they had told me privately that you know. Hey yeah it would have been nice. If we would have gotten eddie kingston if we would have gotten a moxley If we could have gotten adam cole or young bucks yeah really would have been nice. How we got them But maybe the next cruise right like yeah. Probably but i thought for what they were able to put together and everything. I thought they did a pretty good. Yeah here was my vantage point. Pretty much during not only fosse performance but also When they w in ring action was going down on what was that. What was that. Friday was a friday night or was saturday. It was the of your all friday night or saturday night. My my days are kinda mixed up. You guys got to forgive me. "Of days ago. Here's our results. Somehow it was a case where okay great now we gotta take another test right there on the spot and my wife was starting to get a little bit frustrating here and she started talking to the people there at a cvs cassivi s. Were the ones that were doing. The rapid tests and everything. Oh my god a horrific story too. I didn't share this in the written up review before written up review that i Posted over at the full one mania website but there was one woman that had this horrible experience with the instant rapid tests their Story short the person that was administering the tests. You have a cvs and everything stuck the little snow. Swab so-far up. This woman's knows that she was bussing up blight just everywhere out of that. One nostril homegirl had nerve to try to take notice swab and go into the other nostril and homegirl was like no. No no no. No once is good enough for me. I will do this one. You know all my guys like how do you go that far up. Where you're making a person bleed that bad. I mean just just crazy but and nap particular section. It was definitely Understaffed and there was shows. There is no excuse for that. There is no excuse for that. Because you've had this vaccine now that's been out since december of last year. You know and it really really really should ban boom boom boom boom boom boom boom right now. I will say this full disclosure norwegian cruise. Line six man. Chris jericho all parties involved. They did not like the way this was handled so to make up to everybody to had experienced this. Everybody didn't matter what time he checked in. Every body had god a one hundred dollar credit on their account already there. You didn't have to do anything. I mean you literally could have just turned on your tv. I and look at your account that way. It's kinda cool. How they had that setup by the way us log in and go to the channel. Go to the go to the norwegian cruise line channel. And you could pretty much look at your m. box You can look at your account information. See how much credit You've basically spent so far on the cruise and everything and see all the transactions that you've done since you've been on a cruise and sure enough. There was two credit right. There are credit actually had came in the very next day so a little bit over twenty four hours later. We all had got memos and everything. Now here's what was really cool. Most people had realized this that was on the cruise. Let's say let's say you're on the cruise right. Let's say you're with your significant other. If you're thinking all cool. I got one hundred dollar credit none. No because you know each head. The wait is cruise. Works is not just one person all yom bringing might know both of you all pretty much. Have your own respected accounts. Although it is tie to that one room for coming from so you know. Basically long story short. You know there were two of you. You know sharon rome both. Y'all had got one hundred dollar credit. So i thought that was kind of cool how they Redeem themselves and everything one thing that was also pretty cool Was we did get to see See this is what i'm talking about. that's peter avalon. I'm struggling with my elbow trying to hit the damn button without dropping my food and luckily i was able to do right but i'll just like us and coach. It will hops. Who's just obnoxious or somewhere in between You first on this one on that. I think what they don't staying has been kind of benchmark for you do with the legend too to get them over to a new crowd Or elapse fan audience and You know with a new talent to someone like that. Or if you're going to have someone like a powerhouse. Hobbs who is presumably still going to be a heel character if you have him mark henry and you've kind of a battle of strongmen match worth a hobbs going over. So i i know that he might do some producer type stuff so he does provide a tremendous amount of value there Being this veteran guy that people really respect But then as far as coming into the ring i think there's a wide variety of different options that you could go with and i think you guys outlined quite a few of that where you could go with Just you know an antagonistic. He'll that he just wants to beat up. So maybe you can do a special for one of their abor views or you could even make kind of a a main. Our semi main for one of their other shows Just just haven't beat somebody up. You could also do something powerhouse. Hobbs where it's kind of the power strength. You could do something with even miro if you wanted to. On provided he stayed he stays he'll So i think there's a variety of different things that you can do with them. But i'll be interested to see what he does on rampage going forward. Let's let's switch to another topic here and cover the inner circle Celebration of their victory. We had The the crowd sink peak enthusiasm for the night. Perhaps certainly candidate with singing jericho song. Although it is interesting how it's a little more muted compared to the paid staff at ringside but there are still scattered scattered people who are into it and scattered people who are But it feels a little more a little more a realistic. But i really liked this promo because it solidified me that keeping the inner circle together was the right decision. You know. I didn't think that there was much of a likelihood that they would break this team up but still you know they were really going hard at it like it was going to be their last time together. But i had serious questions about it. Because i felt like it would leave a lot of the members kind of lost on the roster that i didn't think that Now is the good time to just split off. Sammy guevara and kind of beyond his own and figure it out but by everybody having a little bit mike time in this and really getting some time to shine and show where they've come Since dynamite debuted in the inner circle got together You could see that sammy. Guevara is being moved into a bigger position within the group. That chris. Jericho was pointing to him as the reason why they won The stadium stampede match you know and in not and santana also get their chance to shine and same with jaeger where everybody just kind of seems to be falling into their place into what their role is within the inner circle and this sets up a lot more matches coming forward you know. We had the big two matches with the war games and the stadium stampede. And jericho close off you know by emphasizing that he still has a lot of unfinished business especially one on one against mj up. So i it sets it up nicely where now instead of just seeing the big group Against group matches that each can kinda split off and do their own things against the pinnacle. A tell how do you feel about that. I have mixed feelings because part of me was kind of looking forward to seeing members of both factions against infringed. Matchups is there. Is there more to be had. And hey bring it on. Let's at least fill up till mid july or whatever when we things kind of kick in to All out and hopefully they shift gears from there And so hey we got five six weeks here. We can do some other things with some singles match ups tocqueville tv time. But then let's move on or is that too much or is that not enough and you actually think no jericho empty off. Donell and tyler stage who are frequent co hosts on the dynamite po shows when you do the live call in format for perhaps obvious reasons were not doing that late at night on fridays Especially with Do in the smackdown poll shows and it just hasn't logistically worked out but we didn't want to cover the show and so we've got joel in tyler. Here joel welcome. Thanks for having me on weight in tyler. Welcome due to below always blizzard. So you can check out. Tyler's coverage of dynamite live show airs on wednesday or now. Fridays and saturdays and joel does the dynamite hits and misses column. So we've got people who are on the eight w beat joining here for a special roundtable post show and i want to start with the andrade introduction like just about everything on the show I have some level of gripe In this case. I wasn't a fan of vickie. Guerrero doing these screeching. Excuse me it which to me. Is mid card at best lower mid card comedy. Introduce somebody who. Based on his talla his acclaim the announcers framing is a big signing who they foresee being a main event at least the tier guy. I wanna see vicki. Grow from the derivative cartoonish. Excuse me bit. That feels more nostalgia than something current. So that's my opening comment Joel your thoughts on vicki's role and then andrade and how he came across and just the value of the signing. How do you feel about it. Yeah i mean it was. it was an interesting debut. You know to say the least that it was Four mark henry was his segment and then got kind of taken over by vicki And then by extension andrade came out. But i mean the first thing that comes to mind to is you know andrade. He carries himself like such a star when he comes to the ring. I mean he has. He has the charisma to get him to that next level. But this pairing with vickie guerrero just seems like such a just an odd pairing between those two. I mean even we saw vickie guerrero later in the night. I'll where she's already the manager of neither rose and so neither roses getting heat up heated up again for something with brit baker and so then half also with andrew seems like such a here thing in just not the direction that i feel like. You'd want to go with him because he's talking about wanting to be like the the face of hispanic in the faces in the face of aew. And i just feel like vicky grows. Gimmick is just not conducive to that whatsoever I think can be really talented in a lot of other ways but Like you clean out to wait. Just the excuse. Me gimmick is just not something that i would want with android. I feel like something happening like a more professional presentation of what he had and wwe with. Tia trinidad if they were able to get her to come in there and do like an aws of that. I think that would be really spectacular. Deceive but Besides vicki i think that andrade he has a lot to overcome with the way that he was booked in wwe. I don't think that his reaction was the strongest when he came out there. But i feel like he's gonna win over the fans pretty quickly. I mean he had some great matches in that x t Like i said before. He's got a great presence. Agree charisma about him. That i think he can break through it to another level in eighty. W yeah. I think the vicki pairing is well. He needs somebody to talk for them. And that's the andrade has confidence and bravado and in a the angel as conan wants described. The word charisma to me He's got the angel but he starts talking in trying to an english he loses some of it. Because you can tell he's he's thinking really hard about how to say it and getting it right and so i think they're thinking well let's put him on someone who can talk vickie guerrero when we went on to be already. He's going to be are hispanic getting grayer. But you know. Eddie could talk english. And just he's different. He was a different guy. there's some overlap. Some not and so it feels a little forced and then yeah it was jarring. Seeing vicki out there for was kind of a slapsticky segment yet Not who's a librarian guy. not leva bates appear avalon. He yeah peter avalon's out there hamming it up like it's the being. The elite high school improv comedy sketch slapstick in the background. Just undercutting for me get into that later that the tone that baker should be having which is something towards that but not that far and it was tone deaf and then you have vicky standing out there kind of participating in this clown show in the background for the brits segment doing burger comedy and i thought that it it diminished. What they did with andrade that she's out there no than other rose saying you know she's making these facial expressions in the background which was to build up the angle and all. That's fine but to me. Andrade needs more gravitas. So i didn't like that. I tyler your thoughts on on the segment as you watched it and what what jolan i had to say so far this was a very odd segment to me and you guys ran down a lot of both of those reasons. You know a why it was. You know just starting with the mark. Henry part of this and then transitioning vicky and i thought it was a bit odd but you know if you were to pull me freeze time and pulled me. What i thought was going to happen. Next someone the capacity of coming out in premiering would have been one of the last things that were thought of the way the the The segment was set up and So that was that was poor i think. Aws is pretty good at altering things maybe not immediately but casually over time You know someone like christian comes out to me that it wasn't going very well now the kind of slow building him in another direction. Not that has been perfect. But they've they've obviously known that what he was doing was not working. So i think there's a couple of weeks where this pairing is not working the way they thought it would originally. I could see them. Transitioning him off her. You could always use it as a stepping stone to turn and face almost immediately if you know that she's always good for that as a manager and And then the.

Levy's taps over two minute. You accomplished everything that you accomplished in the long match but you did it. In a short match the differences cody didn't get to have a long match with peter avalon but cody wants along with peter. Avalon you can do that on dark. Absolutely yeah again. This no hate for. Peter avon here is. Are you using your time in the best way that you can. And i don't think that they did that as personality was ten minutes. A really ten minutes may now.
