"Glaring that would say we need to get rid of him and i've heard speculation. That mark harrying could actually wind up coming in with a higher raw vote share then the top of the ticket for terry mcauliffe and that is extraordinarily rare. Mike is that something that you are looking at for the republican side or do the republicans think jason has has this in the bag and regardless of what teri does miatas will win at the end of the day over marquette. Well i mean look. Jason gotten known him. He's a great guy he's really committed. I think he's the strongest candidate for torney general of that. We've had in a long time. I'm and. I think you would make a phenomenal attorney general. I think his problem is two. Fold sean alluded. To the incumbency of mark herring which mark herring wasn't knocked out a primary and that surprised me. I thought jay joan that in a bag herring survived that i do believe and if you pay if you look at the breakdown of that. His support came from northern virginia. His corner of loudon. Fairfax all of that. I think that will hold a. Jason is based in virginia beach. And maybe he can make some inroads into the richmond suburbs but i think herring solidly has northern virginia. And that's why harrington at the edge so before we go. I want to circle back around with predictions. So mike allergies. You already made prediction. That i actually love to to ask you about. Which is this idea of the split ticket. You predicted a young. Can i ala administration so It's actually pretty rare for voters to split the ticket. It's not unheard of in nineteen ninety-three voters chose a republican governor and a democratic. Lg in two thousand five voters chose a democratic governor and a republican lg. So you're thinking we're going to see a split ticket here with a young. I all administration absolutely. And i think the margins are gonna go yung-chen squeaks out by one point. Five halloween by ten inhering wins by five. Sean paramount any predictions. I'm going to predict that's wrong too. Scant see many people swim. Their tickets are good showing crazier thing to happen to brave new world. You're right you're right crazy them. I'm just gonna my prediction. I won't predict either way. I'll say you know. Obviously i'm a democrat. But i think whoever whatever party wins at the top will wind down the line as far as statewide seats go. I don't see people splitting like that. Yeah i actually. I agree with sean. I think it's all or nothing for everybody wins. The republicans won not just the other statewide but also the general assembly. And if terry mcauliffe wends were most interested in the margin right so if he's over five then Dams have held the house. The devils most likely one other other statewide races. If terry is coming in under two that's not so certain and it's important also to point out. I was actually just talking to another republican. Politico today Who says that can thinks that he needs to keep terry mcauliffe under sixty three percent in fairfax in order to win now for some context. Democrats haven't done below sixty three percent. Since tim caine in fairfax so i just don't see that. With the current demographic trends you're not going to roll back the clock on fifteen years of those trends heading more and more blue in northern virginia. To that extent. Fairfax county is starting to come in over seventy percent for democrat. So i think. That's probably where fairfax is gonna wind up once again and i'll add this just my own two cents if the democrats win this by hand handy margin. I can't see a near future. A future within the next ten fifteen years where republicans win statewide here. I actually agree. It's make or break for It's maker it's the end game for republicans absolutely absolutely. This is the last shot and arguably the best candidate for governor that they're going to get in a while is this is the case th th the climate that they're in this is their best and last shot in if they get the By like i said they had the race closer. Twenty seventeen and they get beaten by martin's like that and they don't have a shot In any near future. So that's all for this episode. Stick around next week because right after the election we are going to do a joint episode of old dominion another podcast out in charlottesville. They're doing great work. Go ahead and give them a lesson. Because we'll be doing a snap post-election rap as soon as we have those results..

"Of transition. Virginia do i get to go. Michael pope i'm thomas bellman and this is transition virginia podcast. That's still documenting. The ongoing transition of power in virginia this week election day is finally here. Who's up. who's down. What can we expect to happen to. We'll get into all of that with our amazing panel. Returning to the podcast is a former candidate for. Lieutenant governor. the former president the fairfax w. pe- and he's now the inaugurals executive director of the pain center for social justice house of the thurgood marshall college fund. He appeared on a previous episode. That just happens to be one of our most popular episodes. Ever john perriman. Thanks for coming back to the show. Thanks for having me and also returned to. The show is another former candidate. He ran as a republican to the house seat currently occupied by delegate carter then he served on the campaign for a republican candidate for governor winsome. Sears you can hear them on the grid. New podcast mike allers. Thanks for returning to the show and so happy to be here. Thank you great to have you both mike. I hear your time with winsome. Sears was a complete 401. And i know that some listeners will want to hear that story just like we do. And sean i bet you have a great campaign war story to tell you both stick around after the show and spill some tea for patrons absolutely. Let's get the hot water ready. That'd be great actually. I'm very excited to hear that. And so if you're listening to this podcast now. The only way you're gonna hear that is to become a patron of the show so you have access to our exclusive content. I know i would pay up after after that intro. But let's start with the campaign okay. So let's start at the top of the ticket. We have to start at the top of the ticket. What do we make of this race between former governor terry mcauliffe and the republican glenn junkin i think the most interesting thing about this is how close it is you know. I think a lot of democrats would have expected mcauliffe to be a way ahead of young at this point but it is virtually tied at this point. John perriman auth it to you. I why is this race so tight right now. That's a great question and Before coming on the podcast i said. Let me let me do some research. So i'm going to read this headline from october seventeenth twenty seventeen. Gillespie northam deadlocked in. Virginia governor's race october seventeenth. Two thousand seventeen politico is reporting the virtual dead-heat according to the latest polling. So this we've seen this before. And of course it turned out to be not true. North of one by a huge margin. I feel like you're casting aspersions on my profession. Well i think the pollsters get to say what they want and then Everyone forgets about it. But so that's why. I like to point out but i will say this. This is a very different election We don't have donald trump the white house actually the momentum and the sort of energy is on the republican side which we talked about during a very popular podcast. Apparently so there is a lot of energy there so this will be an actual test. But i i always take these polls with a grain of salt. Just based on history recent governors election. They had it's a dead heat right up until mid october tober And then of course. It turned out not to be true. But i'll say this is a lot of energy among grassroots republicans. Yeah you mentioned the excitement. The momentum the energy is on the republican side. Mike allers. why is that. Why are republicans so excited you hear. People are always talking about the enthusiasm gap right. Why are republicans so enthusiastic about young men and the republican ticket while i mean arguably glenn yung-chen i've gotten to know him great guy. He's the best candidate. The republicans have run. Since i would argue george allen. He's personable he's likable. he's really humbled despite coming from carlisle. Despite you know some attacks from terry and quite frankly i mean look. I loved ed. Gillespie But ed gillespie did not have the fire in his belly and glenn is also not can coach celli or at least at overtly so on with a lot of his social beliefs and i really think that makes a difference. I also believe Look as a republican. We smell blood right now. I believe the democrats are in a very weak position and partly to blame or at least most of it. I would say yes. You can blame it on biden and how. He's kind of bundling things there. But i'm mostly blamed. Terry terry is best. When he is a happy warrior and in twenty thirteen he ran as a happy warrior. He got republicans support against hooch. Nellie he's running as a very angry man a very bitter man. Glenn has visibly shook onstage. Antares not acting like he was ever governor before wait. Mike explain that last march visibly shook on stage that he doesn't i would take issue with the happy warrior because i've been around mcauliffe on the campaign trail and i get the same sort of i mean. Sometimes he actually comes across his carnival barker as united but he always really enjoys what he's doing and i get the sense that's changed. I feel onstage. Especially with the debates. I feel at yonkers able to get under his skin. Young and seemed more polished. More rehearsed more with it. Terry just seemed kind of rattled and not kind of that. Easy breezy competence that you saw in twenty thirteen so undis- not seeing that from him. And i think appearances matter and yeah. He's just not acting like a former governor. He's not acting like he should've walked in here and said this is mine. I was the governor before and brushed off the competition bought. He's almost doing. The mistake is very different race. But remember how. Eric cantor dave dave brat. Tons of name idea made it all about you. Know just constantly mentioned dave brat. That's what he's done. He's boosted junkins profile tremendously. I push back against clinton and i forgive me for this. Might notes republican party better than me of course but we have to keep in mind. The this is happening in the republicans feel like they had an election stolen from a very popular Refrain among the republican party so they did their basis fired up this their chance. At revenge in some ways democrats in on on the other hand we hammered into their heads at nauseam that this was the election of a lifetime last year. And it's sort of exhausting to say okay. Now we're getting geared up again but Here's terry mcauliffe again. No disrespected terry. I think as someone said he still does have that very high energy happy warrior persona going. But what is there to get riled up from after twenty twenty what is there to excite people about. What's been disappointing to me. At least has been here the same message of well. We need to just keep doing what we've been doing. And if we don't then trump is gonna come back. It's very much a twenty fifteen message of trump is bad and we're not trump so therefore vote for. I think that's part of why we don't see the same sort of at least it doesn't seem as visible or audible enthusiasm on the left at an en- sean terry is kind of arguing for a return back to him but he's almost ignoring the fact that north has been in there for so long but then i truly believe the democrats if they wanted to do that. Turn the page narrative on trump on this republican party. What have you would have done better right now with the jennifer mcclellan with anybody else that ran for governor mindlessly carter right now terry a return to terry mcauliffe. A return to the past doesn't seem to fit the moment right now and i think young represents something fresh whether you whether you like it or not and look. I'm talking to a lot of democrat. Who they're going to vote democrat the rest of the ticket but they're going to vote for young because.

"I think it's a travesty what he's going through. I don't believe that he should have been fired. I don't believe or he should have resigned. He apologized, I believe that he should have been allowed to move on. It's a shame what's happening, but the left never messes misses an opportunity to advance their narrative that America is systemically racist in all places. I want to remind you that his player several of his players defended him. Several of his players did. One of his players, who was this, by he asked players, including Josh Jacobs, Denzel perryman, and another gentleman who defended him, saying, I'll let it go as soon as we walked out on the meeting room. I wasn't focused on that. Still not focused on it, so I mean, I don't know what he said. I could care less, honestly. I don't know how many years ago it was, but my main focus this week was on the bears, not whatever he had going on. Another player was just basically talking about listen. This is not the man that I see every day. So, you know, basically, and I'm paraphrasing, forgive him, and move on. But we can't do that. We can't do that. Why can't we do that? Because the woke left is upset. And so this guy has to be destroyed. Jason whitlock of the blaze wrote an amazing column dealing with this where he talked about basically the 7 sins that this guy committed. And how he offended people, but this gentleman that was claims to be so outraged over the big lip coming, okay. I want to know if any of you, whether you're black, whatever, have you ever said white people have small lips? We just go insane with this stuff. I don't know, you know, this guy Jon Gruden was said he was a, you know, he's a homophobe because he called what's his name Roger Goodell? Basically use the gay slay gay slur word. Okay, let me go back to this point. This is an NFL coach that deals with grown behind men. This is a warrior type sport. I play little sports. Nothing will nowhere ever to this level. You say things men are tough. You say things in anger, you say things and frustration. All of you little social justice woke people that are coming out here condemning this man, I hope to God the left never comes for you. I hope you don't, you better check your phone now. If you said something 7 years ago, ten years ago, 5 years ago, two years ago. I hope you can get it deleted. I hope no one ever sees your dirt. The man apologized, move on. This is a blood sport. It's insane. And then this guy plays the victim. The guy that he calls big lips in order to get his job. He had to get voted in for his job. So he played the victim, played it up. Maybe I'll go into more of this tomorrow. We just don't have enough time. It's insane. Time flies anyway, guys. Until tomorrow, don't grow where you're doing good. God bless, again, Larry elder is back on the 18th. Talk to you tomorrow..

"Wouldn't be talking to michael so stupid. Yeah yeah the Anyway i mean yeah so i guess i guess what i'm trying to say. Is you know. I see all the for slander. I understand you know but at the same time like Fall where you got picked. So let's i don't know if a regulation probably can't relax about it they're going gonna always be upset about it. You know But but we'll see how he performs this year and what kind of role he carves out for himself and you. You're only as good as your depth. You know so Gago down one of those guys goes down. you know. that's clear borough. He's he's got a step in so it's not like ghetto. It's not like he's not gonna play ever you know he's gonna play but People like people like to see the starting right like on the day's top five. Pick they want us to the top five pick superstar And he's not He's not superstars if they josh allen aga instead would they have picked. Do you think i. I know i know my answer. Do you think they would have big macs. Crosby if in the fifth round of got josh allen in the first round now if do i who should have taken at five afford probably. I mean if you're going to be redoing that that's probably who they should talk. But i didn't want white either. So like i like to watch and i liked it. Bush like both devon devon white makes some fun place guy coming forward like denzel. Perryman is a poor bans. Devon white devon white like he doesn't cover anyone like the fans defense st him make a big second like pasta helmet off or like run to the side like run all the way on outside zone and like make a tackle at lunch or something like that now. Like this top five linebacker The nfl executives number one. so it's not the fans. No no no. No no no. No people who watch film like they're like devon white is not as good as it was. Nfl accuses the for haier's over high sixty nine on because he made hit a big big clerk. Yeah wanted better biker. I'm not. I'm not hating. I'm not hearing this. Actually being smart partly the most underrated player in At one of them for sure. Yeah so you put yeah like Brings a lot of juice. You know like there's a lot of juice and that that'd be that'd be fun to watch but you know if if if devon white was fog on the defense punto with figure out a way to make him look trash take the he's got forty five grade if it's real quiet about it. They like they don't like talk route. Bite it but a forty five grade from them and if you had a forty five careers we hear. All the time it'd be worse We ought bad of a devon white. So right you know. I don't know yeah i don't think a i don't think many players could play well under paul gunther another just change. Let's let's just see what what the current guys are before we start. Judging being outside of the drafts capital But yeah that's it for me anything else that you won't talk bout man good growing so Listen to us on spotify items. "Middle linebacker Because i think nick wykowski is probably more effective in in coverage than denzel perryman So far just for I've only watched Six games like focusing in on dental perriman from two thousand twenty to cash in two thousand nineteen that he started. And i have yet to see. Make an impact against the past in coverage at all those games but what he does really well is. He should gaps and he's got great acceleration to the ball carrier by a lot of bursts I think coming forward you know he's got who's gonna just hustle hustle you out work you And some of fits that he was making you know like he's got guards pulling in he just needs to run back right in the whole like like he's playing running back like he's reading the blocking scheme and he just knows exactly where the ball is headed. You know that kinda stuff comes with. Just being a veteran tape study you know like support for this. Episode comes from adidas. We all know when you go on your daily run. You need to fill progress but every time your foot hits the ground breaking forces slow you down. But what if you're running. She could turn these forces into forward motion. Adidas export five million laddis variations to find one sale. that redefines. what a running shoe. Mid-sole can do their forty four. Running shoe is designed to move you forward by turning vertical pressure into forward motion every single stride. Adidas forty four designed to move you forward to do those things so you know. I don't think that he's he's bad. He's definitely really good against run. But he's just like out there against the cast. So hopefully nick kwiatkoski can be the starter and be healthy as long as nicholas But you know he. He could be a factor against teams for sure. Yeah at those interesting about the press. Congress's said that Gonna be out white white injuries. More serious so yeah. I think that people jump to that conclusion with john white because they saw him be carted off field. Aim be like they were saying like he was like head in his hands. You know and all that stuff in his reaction made it made people think oh he must know that something is like really badly messed up. Sneezing must be upright but I noticed that someone fell on him early on in the game and then he kinda played through flight quarter but he had like a visible in for the rest of the game and then on the play where he gets injured in a car One of each one of the one of his teammates false like it's pushed behind on the ground behind him and he's getting blocked so he's trying to anchor but then he gets tripped up on his teammates but his feet like usually when you see like a bad knee injury someone rolls up for you on you from behind in your feet gets stuck in the ground when you go over and something like pops in your knee with that right in this case jevon whites feet shot right out from underneath him right then he still was holding his knee. So i do think that there is. There is a chance that it's not like a huge issue. It could be like You know like an mc l. explained Or something like that. You know that you can come back during the during the season. you know. you're not gonna be you're not gonna feel great coming back manziel you know but it is possible. Come back Depending on how badly torn And you could have you could have a partial tear of mc l. You know and and the doctors are like yeah. All you need to do is just rats dan. it's going to hit on. You can be back in a month or month and a half or something like that. So i hope hopefully for him and for his case that that that's what happened But we'll see we'll get a real hard look at davonte oslo. This sounds like you know this weekend. We'll see if davonte abbas making some place kinda similar to a drive-in wider than you know it's a moot point but we will see we will see 'cause jevon white kind of especially the last game he set the bar pretty high honestly Of the plays that he was making a little Little uncommon i would say for coverage linebackers to making. So he did. He did pretty good job Have to ball up i Diablo's bigger coverage media as he's bitter coverage Tackling which is crazy. He wasn't always a when i watched him. Miss ally tackles So i mean he's a hard hitter like hit you you know but like open field any asked to break down. Make a tackle us getting of issues on tape with him. Their coverage was super cleaning coverage of the great movement green movement skills. Especially how for how big deal as it safety even the breakdown. I did Earlier guys go back on youtube. I talked about some of the is covered skills in the. Yeah i mean he moves like safety. So i think he's gonna be a good in coverage it's more about him coming up playing around like i. I really don't have a problem with coverage like the difference of Humid tanneries like the complete opposite. Itin amuses plays the run pretty. Well right i mean. I've see some clips. You put out there as he looks like. he's a lot better. Learning run fits. He's comfortable there. 'cause he did that's what he did while yet divine the divine the louis opposite. He is good in coverage so he makes a lot of coverage plays like he has his play whichever lawrence when he picked off. Trevor lawrence need baited him. Anyways they came from the the other side of the safety pick them off so he has a lot of instincts that coverage is just playing the run us why we are buddies interview. You know he wasn't too excited about coming to send ed. You're trying to take on linebacker because that's not what it used to do. If you get him in on third down either he could cover tight. Ends is ability. So and i definitely i agree with you. I think that the question is how quickly is he going to like me. Like the talent going to show up on the field for you. Know like that's my question because he's changing positions At least had like a full season. Nfl season where he's like fringe roster getting getting signed but he's on the practice squad. He's playing linebacker for a full season in the nfl. Full offseason in an you know comes in and it looks any different player you know whereas diablo like he's just now in. He was her a lot he's won. The last guys decided he was heard a lot nicer coming in. Like has he really. How many reps is he had like be comfortable doing it. Things move quickly you you. You can't be bathing as linebacker. You know you gotta gotta get there immediately like So and not only that but also it's can be faster you know so will seek i. Eight hundred sound like he has talent for sure like some of the things that you were. Sean and i'm like wow that's shocking that a player of his size and stature is like making plays like this in coverage because usually you see a big safety like Auburn had won barral his aimless or even hampson asteroid dean. These guys are like really big safeties and you know you watch them like okay. Yeah they're good like big hitters. So they could again thrown or something like that but they're just like they don't have the.

"We'll take that. We're maybe i did watch it. I dunno. I probably did so. Yeah you'd what. Yeah you look watching the broadcast okay. Watching all twenty two. That's thank you i want. That's what i want Okay so let's Is there any other topics on offense. We talked about largest diverse. Yeah the quarterbacks playing right. Quarterbacks are playing between reagan's at 'cause you you texted me something and we didn't get to talk about it yet guy some about the poor far now. Okay you text me something so let me ask you -rageous or immense so. This is tough for me. Because radius is the past blocker can catch the football right but i-. Bj edmonds began. It's really really special rights. i. I started on twitter. Twitter about setting up linebackers in the second level in. That wasn't the only time he did that. There's another part he set up. A tackle could be tackled. They just don't see so playing. Basically he goes up to the line right and before he hits the whole. You know the gauge right and need. The defensive tackles decided which way to shed so what. Bj emma's is he goes like this so it was that guy goes this right in. What is he goes. The opposite is five yards. Brought us nine. All that is not just that is the you. Don't you teach that like running back. Coach is not going to teach you to do that. I mean they might. They might tell you about my backers second level but if you're Rookie guy coming into the league. Got that type of patients that you understand how to run the football like that. That's not something that you just continue. is going to make the team raise. If if if a running back made the team you'll be him because the pass blocker he doesn't have to be a abell compaq. I think emmons is a topic howard by some team. Stashes him in the guy stick hurt that he gets a chance and then now what he does with it. That's the type of guy is but will you watch. You could tell he was like no races not Jam is four star recruit alabama. You can tell with his movement skills. The way moves. I guess three comb in his twenty are shuttle or unlike the eighty percent so the way he moves priest special but he has a lot of talent. so coach. I would keep it but at the pass blocking is important. So i know trae race didn't mean not over the all and this is what it comes down to when we're talking about You know the point of these games like some final roster spots like whoever's making the rosser now is not gonna be it's not gonna make it to their ability really on like how between the twenties or to be a big part of the offense like it'll be very small niche parts of the offense year there. Megan for so in the case of reagan versus emmons is a great runner. You're saying guy but the Got great runner. Also got kenyan drake. Who like they're paying to be a big part of the offense like many snaps would get right exactly and then It'd be like okay. If one these guys goes down and they still need to spell that guy in they wanna get into too many drillers like that regis be able to handle that even though he's not as runner Necessarily exactly according to what you're telling me so like even though has like Maybe not as talented. His niche value is. That's how you make the team right like so. We're talking about dj under his niche value. As you know adding up site as a gig returner that's makes the team. It's not about him being a starter eventually like that's not what they're projecting when they when these these small little details phone place at the at the end you know. So that's what that's what we're looking for for sure So i'm i'm glad i'm glad that you said that I'd be interested to see what they ended up doing. In the past keep three tailbacks in fullback or have ever got four. Fullbacks are for tailbacks. Fullback yes oh it's between radius rashard in emmett's isolated shorter by extra step but now ninety play. I mean he might start of her in a. Maybe that guy mates team. But i don't think jailer. It is go away. Like i think people think he's place. I don't know about that it'll be it'll be the apocalypse jalen sharp will still be on the raiders. Okay the guy has made it through everything every every regime change. Agai can't get rid of that guy too easy. Yeah that's a good point okay So let's let's switch over here to talk about defense real quick First things first. Perman raiders has some hiccups linebacker according to gruden's press conference he didn't give exact diagnosis for jevon whites. Interior nicholas morals injury. He did say that they're going to be out for a while right so middle linebacker starting linebacker out back a week's linebacker out so the raiders now scrambling k. They're hoping devan diablo steps in that. Backup weakside linebacker and now they are signing another inside linebacker middle linebacker denzel perryman So rather kept on talking about death. He get like during his press conference today. Bradley kept on saying depth this depth right and when i go back and i i knew dental 'cause i watched a whole bunch of charter state For the last Is off season. I watched four years Charges defense and he's always been a situational player for them right you know like they. They had him in as a starter when when certain players went down but like he was never liked the opening day like he. He was not in their plans to be like the starting middle linebacker. You not only start if players got her or something like that you know. In last year. With kenneth murray being the starting middle linebacker denzel perryman really only sell the field in base defense For the first ten eleven weeks of two thousand twenty before he started seeing a little bit more time in the nickle package because there was no Another injured right. So he's just he's depth guy like that's what his role is in He took that on really well. Lashing the chargers. So when they're trying to talk to k j ryan there they're saying hey. We want to create depth. Competition engage Starter right whereas denzel perryman. He's like yes. I signed me. I'm cool with my roles. I that's perfectly fine with me right against already done that So yet it isn't me death. I would anticipate not kofsky As long as he's a healthy.

"I wanted to talk about them tack today. So what is them tack. Well fem tech really compromises. All of the new either apps online consulting or membership sites or products that. We're seeing in the women's health field and i'm really specifically talking about midlife women's health but they're certainly our apps and products for women in earlier reproductive years. Whether it's even something simple like tracking your period so you can get pregnant better or you know periods in general if if for something like polycystic ovarian syndrome which is also known as o. s. but i've seen a boom in apps an online consulting and products for women in midlife health. We're talking peri. Menopause and pause and i wanna let you know my thoughts about those. I sat down as i usually do before. I record a podcast and just take some little notes on one piece of paper and the pros list is kinda short and the cons list is kind of long so without further ado. Let's get right into the things that i think are good about fem tack okay. We'll obviously this means that people are recognizing that there is a void that there is a need for products for women's health in midlife whether that is sexual health or irregular periods in peri menopause and those strange symptoms at creep up in perryman oposite into menopause or the symptoms that you're experiencing post menopausal people are noticing. A ha. there is a need here. There is a void that we have not built and people need these products. People need this help. People need the support and let's build this infrastructure to do so

Mastering the Menopause with Emma Bardwell

"We're GONNA be talking today about menopause which is a topic that probably we talked enough about until it happens to US often. Vet Light you pelvic floor or things that until you have to get to know it. You don't speak our set so I felt like let's just start off with. What is menopause for those the Dayton Yup absolutely? So you're right. It's not talked about and it's particularly not talked about. I think for younger women such as yourself so in a nutshell it is when your period stops Meno poor say menstruation Meno pause stop. The average age is fifty one. And it's usually a kind of natural part of aging Bart for some women. It might occur earlier and that might be because of genetics or it might be because of surgery and how about Peri. Menopause is at the stage leading up to us yet so paramount applause is actually probably the most important bit of the journey. I think because that's when all the kind of symptoms tend to rare and it can be quite a long journey actually for lots of women. I think there's this real kind of misnomer that it happens in your fifties and it happens overnight whereas actually that lead up that parry menopause can last up to a decade island and I always women often particularly younger. Women feel really kind of freaked out by that so I think it's really important. We don't WanNa kind of catastrophe is it. It's a totally natural part of aging. It happens to every single woman but yet I think it's really important that we are prepared and more interested in that way we kind of dive. Deep into the subject could question. I think because I realized through my own journey. There's a real lack of evidence based information out there so there's lots of women who have been through the journey and so therefore kind of thing that they know everything about it but actually there's a lot of misinformation so I think it's really important for women to get their information from experts. You know people who are actually qualified and also I think women are really underrepresented when it comes to kind of health particularly things I research. There's not enough research being done so I think there's a lot of women floundering. It can be really isolating menopause. I just wanted to kind of turn on its head. I wanted to support women and I wanted women to realize that it's not kind of game over. It's very much a time to be kind of embracing the fact that you've reached this life stage because it's a real privilege to age to get to that point absolutely. I'm touting thirty tomorrow got Michigan very old and I feel like every year every better. Have I WANNA be kind to myself have more wisdom and everyone says that my step mom said to me she would never want to go back to her twenty s because she feels so much happy within herself as he got older and. I think that's really wonderful thing that comes with age and probably something. We need to embrace more and talk about more thing. Yeah I think that's a wonderful way of looking at it and I think for my clients who come see me. It's not just about nutrition or Zeiss style advice. It's actually about regaining a sense of identity. Because you know it's amazing time to be alive you'll middle-age midlife honestly and how about premature menopause? Because I was saying to you before I know a few people kind of distant need that have gone through menopause or menopause symptoms in their twenties. Which is like you said. The average ages fifty one to lose. And you saying kind of ten years before that. You don't think this is going to happen to you until your forties all year. So why are potentially people getting it early? What is the reasons behind that? We don't actually know. It can be genetics or it can be the result of something like chemotherapy or if women have had their ovaries removed. We don't know but the stats are surprisingly high. Actually so early. Menopause which is sometimes go premature. Menopause happens to one in one hundred women to that under the age of forty. So that's quite high her and then under the age of thirty one in a thousand women and then under twenty one in ten thousand while. It's still possible. You liked everything. How many people are on the planets that still quite few people experience absolutely. And how does that impact your ability when you become Perryman? Who is making you less likely to conceive or are you still able to? Who's you're still getting periods but maybe less frequently? Yes so premature ovarian insufficiency which is early menopause. Basically you can still get pregnant but your chances are much reduced so you can still be late. So that's something definitely to bury. Mike's I think a lot of women have a real sense of panic if they want to have children. So that's different something to talk to your GPA about but in your forties if you'll just naturally going through peri menopause. So your eastern levels are plummeting. The not necessarily plummeting but they're kind of on a rollercoasters. They can really kind of p control and that is when women often get symptoms but you can still get pregnant but your chances are reduced. Okay how Stephanie. Get to know and so what are the symptoms? What are they simply? We're talking about? You might be getting todd ten years or less onerous yes. Let's not testify. What are the physical symptoms? That's talk about them fast. I was thinking of hot. Flushes is the kind of hot flashes. And night sweats. A kind of the most obvious common ones but there are. I think it's thirty. Four symptoms are. I think that's actually probably more like seventy so in a really diverse kind of range of things from ACNE SA- changes in skin oversee sagging because eastern plays a big role in college and production. So often women find. Baskin is more lax. There is things like insomnia. That's a pretty common one but also the psychological things so things like memory loss brain fog just a lack of

Well well think you're in this world well adjusted. We'll figure it out you always do but Yeah I mean for me. I've been spending a little more time in the shop because I don't have to stop in the afternoon to go. Fetch Boys Star Dinner? I can kind of work till dinner. Yeah exactly yeah and I. I'm letting myself sleep in and I'm letting myself kind of ease into my mornings. Not this morning doing a livestream before. I've had enough coffee this morning. All but the other mornings I've been like I had cramps yesterday and I felt miserable and I didn't start my work till eleven now. I did not in my work day until eight thirty but I did. Yeah and to give myself that break and so have that luxury using that luxury. I'm I'm somewhat more creature habits than hurry even though I don't have to I've been kinda getting up at the same time. Yeah because I like my alarm going off in waking me up and then I'm like alarm is at my alarm. No that's I have an hour okay except last night and I. You know it's weird. I think of this as an anxiety thing but I've been listening to and talking to people who are going through both Perryman upon which I'm staring have a sneaky suspicion. I'm easing into and menopause. And they all say this happens to them so I don't know if it's anxious thing if we're just all anxious if it's if it's a hormone change thing but I not only do I wake up. Boning the fuck up like just like the sun is blazing out of every opinion. I have I have not had. Total night sweats yet. I'm not like meet the bed wet with my mom. Maury that that is coming but I also now wake up in the middle of the night convinced. I have not set the alarm convinced. It's like some anxious thought will wake me up in the middle of the night and I will be able to go back to sleep and then when I do like drift back off. I wake up multiple more times with that. Same anxious dot and for me it is always the alarm that have not set the alarm that the alarm is not set for the correct time always always always and so I always. Oh I'm just really anxious. Obviously it's been going on for a few months so it's not just right now the tappan but like I said I've sort of observed and worked in conversations with people who are Perryman Apostle in mental puzzle right now. So I'm like is is at my hormones isn't my anxiety. Is it a combination because that sucks? But that's what happened to me last night. I convinced it was first of all effort to go to probably after midnight before I finally drifted off. And y'all go to bed between ten and ten thirty and so to me forever drift off and then. I woke up at some point. No clue what time I am blind without my glasses. Even if we had a clock by the bed I wouldn't be able to read it off and I was convinced I had overslept. And that I had not set my alarm and then I couldn't go and you would think I would get my ass out of the bed and look at the phone to check but my the not logical part of my brain goes be thirty minutes away from your alarm going off and if you get out of bed and trying to sleep you'll just be that much more tired. You should just lay here three or four times a night. It's very frustrating and tastes you. We're not absolutely positive yet. We think we probably will keep it. This time of the say Christian. Yeah well the livestream is be at this time. We honestly do not know I am. I have a feeling that we will probably try to keep it at this time. The only thing that will stop the livestream being end for PODCAST LISTENERS. Rely with nine. Am Eastern Is this current week's livestream time. It will depend on how online schooling goes for the kids if they have to be logged in a time of day eight. Thirty nine o'clock we will not be able to. That's too many resources pulling on the Internet at the same time might actually move it to later in the day if they do not have that requirement and it's just a used this program and do these things do it on your own time at that. Then yes because I do. I like a consistent schedule. Thank you very much We will not as far as I know right now. Probably go back to a noon eastern livestream time until Probably until we're in the office because what happens right now is if we're live streaming at noon and we're doing stuff until one thirty two o'clock the kids can't come out and eat lunch. They can't get a snack that there's lots of things. They can't do several things so once we're in an office it's different because we can close the store and get your own damn launch. Do not open this door but until then so we're hoping nine am Wednesday. You can listen is my. My brain starts to function here. This year's if not we'll we'll figure out a time based on whatever the kids writing will be. That's still an unknown for us and the somebody else asked and just still be can kind of compare what's going on in different areas in our area right now. Schools are closed until April fifteenth. But we fully expect them to stay close probably for the academic year which is only like six weeks after April fifteenth quite.
