"And for good reason as are its siblings. Arena and seasonal remo or serena. These are widely deployed techniques sometimes blindly deployed techniques and. There's good empirical evidence to be using these techniques however when you investigate these things a couple of other perspectives like spectral analysis linear system theory and digital filtering. They take on a whole new light. There's a conversion process that data will be put through by these techniques in order to make it a stationary time series in other words difference in out any trend or seasonality to make it stationary. However that process can actually be a little bit lossing. In this episode. I talked with chung show lee one of the authors of the paper. Why are reema and serena not sufficient. My name is chung show carney associated professor and the southwest johnson university in trump province in china. And can you tell me a little bit about your specific research areas. What do you study my research areas. Congress daytime my machine learning and data analytics gender most specifically focused on forecasting demand focusing in retail and time series focused sich of sees. So the main pay for. I asked you on to discuss. Today is wire arena and serena or s arema not sufficient. You'd mentioned you have a good background in machine learning. I don't necessarily think of a reema as a machine learning technique. How do these two areas fit together in your mind. Actually because the site focused teams all problems and can be served by machinery and when the approached this focusing problem with fines and attorney time service models are very important solutions to forecast team problems. Other side focused is very important in today's areas because you're low many many data so always Focused in problem. We find penser is very important and we also find iron man. Sarah map and armagh. Those are very classic. Run divided news time service motives and when we do couldn't this i remind saruman model. We're fans than actually the classical extre nation or classical. Modern for iran. serena is northern sufficient sarichichekli. Either way actually approach. I remember sarim from elisa angle which is spectral lenzi's digital delivery and in your system theory so we use elisa angle to do countries a romance. I remember motive defines onto loads dench a sufficient from the rich porno view. So this is the whole ground actually starts from computer science. And i do can they as focused in problem because forecasting problem is very potent. So in new concerns i remember i remember those from another this whole idea and the hope and ground of this paper. So rima and essary remodels models. Have i believe some sort of guarantees and certainly a long history in the literature. What is attractive about techniques. Like these sinks. The iron makes a very important contribution on the so-called lung stationary time series forecasting because they can solve those non stationary time series models using the difference. Operator because as you know. I remember is the rich very beautiful that you got only approach. The coyote show the stationary panzer is focusing program on the other side in the real practice. The problem faced usually are lung station so how to transform. Those non station returned to risk problem to stationers. Tides hampshire is very important probe and i remind us over seven point elegant way to do this job. So he's attracting. This either reason in my opinion but lee finds the transformation i remote thus is not sufficient and actually we can do more because we're essentially the differentiation operator is actually can be expanded as a digital poetry than allows frequency components and realize no from cuisine components for the dior difference operator. So let's see our findings so that digital filtering on one hand. I guess maybe naively. I could look at that and say oh. It's probably good. It's taking out noise in the data. How is that the rung intuition because this regarding lahser you shoot when your candidate. Times data on the traditional explanation is voiced that pinpoint you got observation from the signal precision. Porno view is actually the pan domain. But actually you can do the cancer steak from the franck was doman so you feel with the boys. They exist though from quiz components and hybrid components the job of digital richer. Richer is to remove those from zero high from crusade. Depends on your design. Yes he remove those laws so this is a lesson as you point out in the paper. These methods end up distorting the data at certain frequencies in those are desirable frequencies that you'd wanna have so that's kind of a weakness or an achilles heel in the model. What was next once you had this observation. Yes actually our paper. We just to propose a very gender macer which is called. I remember same. Although i will do spectral lance and digital delivery and then to plow the focused. Let's he's quite simple from work i do. Is i for the spectral orleans We should develop some data dependent digital retrieve such this ritually. Let's furniture universities is a difference operator. Career affects the characteristics of the data. Which means this kind really removes alois. Because the noise kyle resistant different forms. Sometimes it's not easy for you until you find it. For example in some data points ladies annoys is low frequencies sometimes lowest. Be the high from so state dependent operator the freezer. So let's see the next job. We're going to do so. I'd love to dive deeper into the spectral analysis. I think you did a good job describing how you know noise can be in different parts of the frequency. What is it about the army sinn model. that's able to capture that. Are you actually modeling out the noise in some way or what's the next step there and actually did not apply this whole moldy are specific programs. We just was unspiritual. Allowances are electoral by going to some find. Some are real world problems and apply or miscarriage too series..

"By mosier law. It's hard to say that. That's like super oppressive rated means hey if you had a and i pull that example up because i had had a dispute with my landscaping like years ago. We had a drought and like literally. My lawn was brown and dry because it hadn't rained in three months and i had hoses stretched across it. But i couldn't turn it on Because you know it was drought. We're not allowed to use water right unity and And i got. I got billed for three months worth of lawn. Mowing services and i was like Pretty sure you run a lawn mower over the like the hoses. I have stretched across my dead lawns so anyway. That's podcast new spinoff podcast. Andrew fights ordinary everyday engine yells arrest of us would be like okay. I'm yeah whenever anyway and a mandatory arbitration clauses we you know that's a big put a pin in that one a company wide diversity equity and inclusion program. You know sorry before we move on from that. I think that's an interesting thing for them to do. I mean i think arbitration clauses have gotten a lot of negative deserved negative press lately. And maybe it could be a competitive advantage for a company to be like. Hey we're not going to do that to you. Guys like actually Our company we won't make you sign something like that and who knows again. I don't know substantively what that does but that could be interesting for that to be away. That companies compete for talent. Absolutely right i mean particularly. We have a model for that. We have discussed it on the show. at at some length that california really paved the way for the employer side. Saying we don't wanna have a broad based non competes right that say you can't compete in the same industry. In fact you know we want tech startups to be able to go read key people at koogle hook right. Yeah that's what airbnb did right. Like they went they went to google. They hired a whole bunch of people who are in the middle of the salary structure. Like how'd you like to come over and get a whole bunch of you know stock options and he can't do that if you have. Mandatory non competes right. That say you can't work for a similar competitor in the same field for two years so even though enforcing those kinds of non compete was thought of as business pro business. Business friendly California really turned that into a pro business argument for not enforcing it. So that's the long winded way of saying. I think that's really really smart. Thomas like you could develop a pro business reason to say years why we're not going to use this mandatory arbitration I can't believe. I just thought of the idea of treating employees better and than maybe we'll come just look. I'm not gonna patent this idea or whatever trademark you. everybody used that feel free to use that all employers. I'm glad we're given given that to the to the To the ether. Yeah it has. It has maybe some ramifications for those claiming a labor shortage right now. Yeah yeah but we definitely have to put up in in that one. So point one end mandatory arbitration clauses point to develop a company wide diversity equity inclusion program. Yeah if active doesn't have one of those Ten thousand guinea to have one of those number three and this is the point that they should agree to immediately and we discussed it in the context of the lawsuit that is transparency initiatives right to publish data on relative compensation among individuals with the same or similar jobs rain. The more the company controls that data the easier. It is for implicit bias. Used to manifest themselves let alone. Yeah how would you feel about either state or federal laws about this kind of thing. I what is even the good like ostensible good argument for salary. Confidentiality wise is not and state of california for example you can go to the sacramento bee. This is again. Because i worked for the state and i went through all this and you can see what every single state worker makes Because that's part of the you know what they decided. I eight workers in california that they'd want that transparency etcetera etcetera. It seems to me if if we do that for something like state government. Why why not do that for a really big company. Everybody you know like the so that we can have the information to know better Whether or not discrimination is happening. Yeah and and look that kind of information access gathering and sharing has been at the core of unionized activity rate since. But you know what even the other side of that is. Is there something missing or is it just like well. I want be able to make a lot more than my female workers and not have to tell you about it. No i think it is. I do not think. The lack of disclosure is designed intentionally to shield discrimination. I think it is designed to maximize the employers comparative advantage visa. The employee of you know being able to talk about like you know if the average person in there and you see this a lot in programming more generally right in which we have a number of folks in the industry in this country on h. One a and other visas who may be coming from non us environments and literally have no idea right what the common salary structure is right. And so you know you say oh. Our programmers usually make between x. y. And you have somebody who. This is their first job in the united states. Right and you're like well and we are pleased to offer you one seventh ex. I see that all the time in terms of you know the the the taking advantage of the lack of information. So maybe i should edit the statement obviously gonna leave it in But but as. I'm as i'm thinking i guess that steps up to the line of conscious discrimination i think of it as exploiting an information advantage which goes beyond. Okay protect is. There doesn't seem to be any genuine. That we we know of of course any genuinely like good pro social any reason for this other than like you know let's companies can and maybe do a thing that who cares if we let them. Do you know it doesn't. It's not helping me helping you. Okay got it. And then the last point is to have that diversity equity and inclusion program higher the third party to conduct the audit of activision procedures. And my guess is that that probably is something that they will push back on. And i've seen we talked about this in in the last episode. I've seen some bad takes on. You know well wilmer hale represents blah blah and again. You're you're talking about a huge multinational multibillion dollar law firm like they. They do these kinds of activities. I did this kind of activity on behalf of adelphia communications fifteen years ago and you know was part of a team to independently gather data and that would those were my instructions right to go out to. Oh gosh i'm trying to remember. The tiny little town started with a c. Cooper's smith penser counters ville couchville pennsylvania. So i'll come back to me now. Which is a town of five hundred people that the rigas has happened to live in. So you know it kind of has that like back to the future to sort of vibe to it of you. Know where where biff like puts the huge mega casino in the middle of hill valley california population fifty and that was very very very much. but what coudersport Was was like but all that is my way of saying you will find bad folks that wilmer hale has represented 'cause they're big law firm and like they'll be involved in some good litigation it's bad litigation and whatever i i've seen those pieces i was going to talk about it. But you guys you know my position on this. I'm a show for big law. So no i mean. I think that they're they're perfectly capable..

Food the product is really fantastic as well. What is your food philosophy? What's okay? So fresh seasonal and delicious is tagline and we have always from the word go caps it just really kind of simple good food is locally sourced. It's delicious back in the day it was myself cooking. So it was quite simple. It was just really you know tasty seasonal food. Now we have a fantastic team chefs who really are incredible. So the you know we now a competing with those really big caterers. So the level of finances you know we're right up there as one of London's goatee caters. So the food now is really incredible. But if you to visit one of my cafes, it's lovely to salads big, day yesterday my dad and we had big Chia sandwiches Guja, salads loads of Fateh which a bloody love and we had some nice fresh juices coffee. So it simple but it seasonal and local suppliers. I think is really interesting earlier. You mentioned that you've made many many mistakes and you've. Learned from them, can you give me examples what have been the most educational mistakes you have made yes? Oh Gosh I think I mean it's so talented I think one of the things I really struggled with there's a managing a team it can be really challenging I. Think you know nothing can really prepare you for that I. Think if you were to go off and do other university degrees under the sun you've got to practice practice makes perfect managing and you know I suppose going leading it's. But ultimately, where we've grown a bit too quickly, that's something that I would look back on. Okay. We've won intendo or we have said Yes to something can actually you know we can pull it off we've done well but internally we need more structure more people power internally but each time you just you know you learn and adapt but being reactive as what's seven important really

"This is Monica Perez. Brad wrinkling. Our top story. Last night was the vice presidential debate between Comma Harris and incumbent Vice President Mike. Pence. It would promised to be the deciding factor in the election we were meant to hang on every single word of it. But basically and I did a livestream with the make liberty. Great. Again, guys we invited. Patrons and tweets anybody who wanted to come. We had a great time, but it was just like going to a friend's house to study before a big final. It's like four in the morning. Nobody's even cracked a book. I have no idea what transpired. Everybody seems maybe a little bit of neabry aided on something got. Yeah. That's when you're at your friend's house. We were the picture of decorum of course. No actually like I don't know if anybody watching US US watching them if anybody was really paying attention to the debate, the only thing I really absolutely had a firm impression of was that black fly. So stark against Mike Pence's wight white hair that looked like it was actually stuck in the hairspray there. I was totally destroyed if anybody had been doing any hallucinogenics like that would have been. The moment of the database are you watched enough to get the same takeaway as the entire media because that was the focal point of the reaction to the debate? A fly went on his head and. Mike Pence did not budge he didn't flinch he stayed focus is a focus man. It's as though during his prep his training for this debate that he was getting every possible distraction anything tiger woods standpoint. Yeah they're. Out of in the background. Dog Barking let's do a fly sticks on your head. You can't flinch it all I. That is that is a level of focus that I've never seen. There was a point at which I expected it's actually just start drinking water out of his eyeball like he was a complete robot and that it could land directly on his eyeball and he would not have moved maybe maybe did you see the desirable? There's speculation that he had. Pi. Of course that's tied to what we know about covert in pink eye because one of his eyes was bloodshot at one point during the debate. I thought perhaps the fly was communicating with him a refueling him or something some sort of drone. It might have been because everybody was looking for the ear the ear buds like people were GonNa maybe maybe he did a signal like I don't know the answer to this question. So the little drone fly landed on his head. To give him the answer the answer. Yeah it was a transmitter. It's drone fly transmitter. That's the only explanation and this this is the kind of conspiracy that you come to the propaganda reports here and is going to be as valid as any other conspiracy theory that we're hearing out there conspiracy theories come from the mainstream media like Mike. Trump was telling people not to reveal that he had cove, which may or may not be true but it is a conspiracy theory, right but you know some their sideshows. Okay for that conspiracy. I. Did go through the debate again, I can tell you a few takeaways I had other than this. I mean really the level of Focus Mike Pence had and Mike Pence was very focused. It was funny to watch him answer not answer the questions. Here's the thing about politicians and these debates illustrates this perfectly as they do not ask the questions they are answered. Are they don't answer the questions asked. Answer the question did they want to answer? So regardless of what they're asked, they go ahead and answer what they want to answer, which is this campaign talking points pence would be talking and she we're shifting shifting gears, Mister Pepper, shifter, Mr Vp, and then Pittsburgh. Oh. Okay. Thank you very much. I'd like to go back a little bit and talk about that other very important subject, and then he just spent five minutes talking about that and he'd never actually get to the question that was. Put. Presented at hand, he would respond to Kamala and I would say that the level of sarcasm between Kamla and. Pence and also the moderator subtly increased to the very end of it to where I was like. Thank you. Thank you to where at the end it was like Oh. Thank you. Thank you. So you think that so penser sarcastic was so sarcastic. There is very subtle has sarcasm but like at one point he said this, it was very funny because Kamla. Done talking about climate change and the science and foul Chea- and she'll only take foul cheese vaccine and then it shifts over to. Pence I believe the question is A long line, stupid questions that were asked, I. Believe. The question was is climate change and next essential threat as though this is a a science class asset at Berkeley or something like that. Beings will no longer exist because of climate change. Existential is about existent. Yeah. It's a stupid question and pence Kinda. I. Think that's the question responded to with but he kind of minimized it and said, you know we're we're going to trust the science and he was clearly jabbing rental left when he said but he did it was such a straight serious face that he seems serious about it but there is a level of sarcasm buried underneath and I've found very funny. I. Actually feel like the Pathak Chrissy under which we are living that is giving us these covert policies that are so much worse than. Covert obviously is is an existential threat, but I don't think covert is climate changes. I have tons of stuff regarding what we're talking about go on the other questions are unanswerable questions that are just thrown out there to trap people. So you can get sound sound clip you can use your ads was. Served in the Briana Taylor case that was asked to pence it was to both of them. What kind of question is was just a served so what? Yes no you fall on either line to that. It's just it's a setup question. A, lot more complicated than that. Then there was the question where this is the last question. Pence was asked what are you GonNa do what actions? What are you GonNa do if trump refuses to leave office? What are you personally vice president pence going going to drag him out yourself and what kind of question is that? What was his answer? He went on to say, didn't think they're going to lose the election. He did point out that the the the Democrats have been. Basically de legitimizing the the election for the last three years and do de legitimizing the previous election. So you know my thing is that they've been doing that at least for twenty years at least and that they will always do that because otherwise you get some level of harmony. Yeah, I have to take democracy and make it feel like it's not democracy because the whole entire point of democracy is to convince us all that we are consenting. Yeah. And then they're just switching that and saying, okay half of you are not consenting and it's like. Half plus one who's not consenting normally it's half minus.

"Any pay online web APP to accept payments from people. Okay. So and they're gonNA make it easier I think for online businesses in the future that's one of the directions they want to go off until. But if you've got a local business, you want to start taking crypto get over to any pay INC DOT COM and pay I N C dot com or just download the any pay cash register APP on your Google or apple APP store and get started with it. That's any pay I. N C. Dot. com. So. The US college campuses are saying they're going to put a stop to cake parties, road trips and no outside guests will also be allowed on campus. So thought you were going to go and visit your friend on the college campus. Well, that's not allowed now apparently, and the story here's from the AP and they say, no kidding administrators warned that failure to wear masks practice social distancing and avoid mass gatherings could bring serious consequences including being booted from school. Critics question whether it's realistic to demand that college students not act like typical college students but push illustrates the high. The push illustrates the high stakes for universities planning to welcome at least some students back wide-scale covid nineteen testing quarantines and plexiglas barriers in classrooms won't work if too many students misbehave. They won't work if they don't either. Know yet exactly all. Is All for show and Just, so sad I got an email from Vincent, the former Co host here on Free Talk Live. He just graduated from college earlier this year. But they haven't had the actual graduation ceremony Oh right. So the original plan was they were going to put off till I guess like, September. Moved online or something it is now but the original plan was it was going to be put off so they can have it after covid was over which, of course Oh, it's not over. So two weeks to flatten occur. and. Now, they're saying that no, even you we just can't do it with all of our rules that we've put into place who would be breaking our own rules if we had this thing. So yeah, it's going to be an awesome thing. Yeah. You know it's interesting my opinion. Has Changed over over the many months that covert has been going on in terms what to what? Well the masks as an example. I've always said I. Kinda Reserve to change my opinion based on what you know. and. I will say that as. I do add as a mask to some degree early on it has become more apparent especially with newer information that we've come out that it probably. Isn't actually doing any good. So it's kind of funny to see them now cracking down on the mask thing. Well, it's certainly not funny to me. I find it to be a real slap in the face to the idea of freedom. I. Mean. It's clearly a violation of your body and your right to decide what to put on take off sure of your body mean it is a. Fundamental freedom to be able to choose those things. It's it's one of these things where i. kind of have a hard time like being too concerned about it only because it's like there's so many other things that are so similar to what I gotTa wear pants when I go outside sure but you're not gonna get as many people on board with that one, Chris? I mean I know? Now. Right. Not, like an Ra, I'm not a nudist I'm not. Pan. Penser. Pants is pants. Anybody Rough Anti Pants, I. You know. I I'm. A choice. Oh. Pam Fro. Choices Yeah. More more along those lines. So. Yeah. People should be able to make those choices and I don't disagree with you but there's a certain time when it's right to go for the pants free movement and I probably am not going to join you in that although I would support you verbally right. So like you. Should. On your neighbor. Grandson I said. I'm not like taking up. A resistance move into when it comes to the pants, I'm just like I. Have Not. You know it's not going anywhere well, no, it's not because of that because you know it's just because it's like one of these things you feel like there's There's better things I put my mature but there's there are always better issues, right? Like I mean we'd like to see people like Ross be let out of prison, right victimless criminals absolutely not harmed anybody. I would rather focus my time on that. But what can you do about and and that's a good question and I don't necessarily know that there's a whole lot more. We all you can do ask Donald trump pardon sure and I, think that's been great and I think we've done that on the show. and. I signed the petition and I'm not against people. You know leading a pro choice movement for sure as far as the masks are concerned. I'm just not like hugely onboard. I'm thinking about going to the pro the mass there's a time tomorrow or things that are more appropriate, right? So like we've exhausted everything, we can do with Ross Ulbricht as important as that is not much else that you can do right now if you haven't signed the pledge or pledge, but the whatever it is the petition, you can go to free Ross Dot Org that and it'll take you two. Minutes and then that's done you can share the video about his his whole story. There's really lengthy documentary piece, which is video audio text version of it pick your favorite pick all three Sharon in the places where you feel that's appropriate.

you don't get that right yeah I'm the I'm the real world champion right the real world champion no I I know I'm I was told that I know so I I make sure I practiced at the mere several times before I called you our member and we need to get you down the impact wrestling maybe if they print that might offer have you and lose weight he keeps getting it wrong although either he's always looking he looks very shocked when you have to keep a corrected the most I've I've watched the show every Tuesday it's amazing like you keep telling the same story don't listen but what they're looking for me and I'll I'll tell you know just keep watching it eight our interaction get even more in the plane and then here in the next few weeks well tell me moose how's life for you right now as as TNA world champion as as as the real world champion how's life for you overall right now legislatively great man I mean I know we've had a rough two thousand twenty the world has over that man on life of good men are allowed to like I'm hit my stride here in my own home give me a great opportunity all manner of of taking the ball and run with it you know just trying to get better and every day that my mom so I wake up work our work my **** old man on be the best most there can be we'll see to it that my passion and emotions are a blessing and a curse what makes that so because of our own what about me but I work so hard and every time I wake up is all about how can I get better what can I do in my game to make me more in a trainer I get five stars and I get stronger but you know we work side of it I am normally a lot of people because I'm always calm and people that question and then I mean the the local the local tell you like after awhile he gets tired of seeing my name he or his phone call I do you can I keep calling the same thing with some mold some of my own fault like Scott sold by asking them about a year could be better it comes with large formal good morning well that's that's not a bad thing we got it's got to more who's been in the business for a long time and do you brown in the a lot of ways a pioneer in our business so I can understand why you're reaching out to them so it might be a hit they might get tired of seeing your name but at least you are trying to to pick the brain of those that I came before you right right our main arm that does one thing would be a very I I I truly truly believe that that my passion is also there's also occurs you know the most is the real world champion of TNA he joins me childhood on Tuesday wrestling Tuesday with Jonathan hood on ESPN one thousand ESPN Chicago have you could watch impact wrestling every Tuesday at seven o'clock central time on access TV I'm most to you can you recall the match that you had in your career where you thought man everything's clicking for me right now you saw something that you thought okay I could do this for a living what what would match in which he said boy this is a really good right now you know you know what's so funny I'll be quite honest I haven't I didn't start really thinking and believing that I was good and wrestling on who after I had I have mostly grown over the forehead marketed with Eddie all right no it was right before then I went so wrong lower on the call me and he went on to note on the floor because you know we have a partnership with impact without the partnership work no arrests man and I remembered that on the last day I was there I had all a match against the gore I think his name is but after that match I went to the back and all the guys like there's like a standing ovation or whatever because and I know this is a big in America at least would affect less than all of our companies I work for a traditional land you know you're all good for you clap for you you know I'm fine Paul it was one of the things that I never knew that was the tradition in Japan but ahead of match with the gore at no all I got to the back order voice platform here like in my mind I was like you know what I think I'm actually business professional wrestling thank yeah there's always that there's something wrong with it's just click for you ha yeah it clicked for me I mean you gotta you gotta think about I've had guys like Eddie Edwards we will choose a different models has always been like a mentor to only affect our life got the mall was one of my training has always been like one thing about Scott Scott never give you a compliment so he's always on your on your on your own all you have to drive you to work even harder I've wrestled some of the best wrestlers in the world you don't start all over yeah restaurant manager like I feel like the idea of good news yes we are she and Mike wrote especially since I've been with impact wrestling I remember going in there six weeks or five weeks for more with them definitely was a big growth in my career CMOST says we have our conversation we're a hundred days away from the NFL season officially starting at least that's the the dates right in so there's a good possibility that in the NFL they use the some of the teams if not all the teams may start with no fans and you've already performed in front of of no fans at impact wrestling how how difficult is that when you're self soul trying to get connected to the fans but yet during this pandemic there haven't been any fans how difficult is that as a performer farm is definitely difficult or what I tell people is hard but you could use that learning as a as a learning point it's hardly offense but the comparison the wrestler from France is like going to like working out is white very working out is really really really tough because it's like one of those things where it's like going to the gym with no okay all have you ever done that before yeah it's weird because I'm here and everybody's conversation and then the young and the restless on TV here yeah you have to find that motivation to get you going and that worked out and that's what West Main informal frankly because life is very hard are you you're after the find that motivation to keep going in that match and she tried to explain to people that actually watching their home but you're you know but but the learning point in doing that is I know there are things that you don't think about that you need to build are you take for granted expand our dear that you totally forget about like your mannerisms and your vocal acting great you say but wrestler from both plans make you have to do those things are bad makes you have to go to work when your vocals or work or or the old mannerisms and things you're gonna say why you're restless because if you don't do those things and it's just gonna be dead quiet your marriage you know you don't want that so how can I come to use mistimed wrestler frontal fans that go to work on my game and make my game a bit better for when we are able to wrestle front of France well moose on the football field use you tell me that adrenaline what's your home or road home we get that support on the road there's you know that you have thousands of thousand fans that are against you so either way you can adrenaline rush what that's gonna be like for for those that that play football to know that more than likely there will be fans in the stands what are your are you I mean when I slow like the NBA you like checked out an armed camp the free Google to find the fees on there Ortiz of looks for in Lee signals regarding the one in the NFL came back there's no way that we're going to have fans in India played the same thing without looks like there's gonna be a girl be tough with them but I guess at that at that point we're going to see who the who the real battle between doctors and spent a lot of games Amanda Carl's one because the home field advantage there because the crowd noise value eliminating the crowd all of these requirements model model model you know so we'll really see what dreams about it I guess the football world relief we the best female right yeah no question all it always comes down to that R. as we talk to the real world champion I. T. N. A. a world champion moose with us here on ESPN one thousand on Tuesday resting Tuesday you can watch impact wrestling every Tuesday at seven PM central time I cannot access TV you know who's really underrated moves a guy that you know and Mister Hughes that guy was so underrated when he when he was a worker in the late eighties early nineties what was it like to to know him personally arm I mean I will say I know Curtis personally I know he's going to go out and train meet very early on the Morrow coming up on there I mean he's a he's a good trainer I mean almost when people ask me the question on who to trade me I usually tell them Scott because I think of the big difference I think Curtis showed me how to do more all works got sold me wide the moves and the psychology on on everything you know so I think that there's a big difference but thank your question I personally didn't know Curtis we didn't really have a personable personable relationship it would require those things work I went to W. W. for he was right in it at all half the time he wasn't even one training you know yeah he was just like that the figurehead of the flu Moussa I I really am enjoying the status of impact wrestling you have your own night alone on Tuesday nights on on on access TV how would you describe the state of the company right now.

"Eight two nine eight four six eight or my pillow dot com we are back with none other than John Batchelor a man who almost single handedly outside of the JPME the the war college system the joint professional military education system has reinvigorated the concept of strategic fourth and analysis in the late world so many people abuse misuse the word strategic you're going to any airport hotel and you will at port bookstore you'll see books strategy sounds too good to take before the end time but what does it mean it means the art of the possible it means part causation John talked to us about D. day that occurred seventy five years ago tomorrow what with the two things that we had on our site today we take combined arms operations as dirty go we understand them this was new back but was it not right the two advantages are we had we didn't know about one way one way when I was an army decision to land they believe that it would be a man power build up as fast as possible and that within the reach of the guns of the largest fleet Africans ever created the guns would give protection until we build up the bridge had at sufficient to with which to absorb the German counterattack when it was coming the Germans had ten pancer divisions within easy drive of Normandy ten ten passive vision ten divisions and are more than a few of the more penser assets meaning they had their best equipment and their best soldiers the advantages we have I discovered a new book by James Holland it's called Normandy forty four I hi there highly recommended he's an Englishman is written from the English point of view I've read a deal of the American point of view because my father was on Omaha so it's easy to concentrate on Utah and Omaha but when you get the journal golden swat sort and the commerce efforts what you learn from James Holland is that the battle was bogged down on the left flank con because the Germans had very good pancer divisions on that side and they absorb the initial attack and pushed back card in the country was not good for breakout it was good for defense pull the hedgerows right that and also the German panzers are very superior animals so here the two advantages we had over the period of time between the landing on the six and the liberation of Paris at the end of August what advantages are its Hitler Hitler at this point was to James Holland supporting and I see this consistent with other reporting a drug so let's stop for a second so Hitler until this point it's a for the first two years of the war was a peculiar concatenation of a corporal who could think strategically at times and then we throw it all out the window for ideological purposes will because of some random Benoit but by this time he has a bigger problem he's a drug addict and he has stopped listening to his generals since Stalingrad and makes whimsical decisions that no one around him can counter because the fires are gets rid of everybody who speaks against him so that was an advantage that Eisenhower couldn't count on one a lot but it was Hitler who would not permit the reinforcement of the pants divisions early Rommel wanted to counter attack right away Rommel's understanding was we will lose this unless we drive them into the tent and hit the still believe the Calais approach he believes in Calais he also believe that his his ideas would would predominate and his ideas were that he would command the final assault on the Americans not allow Rommel to make the decision tactic blow to fill our mother local local so that was one advantage we had a drug addict as the absolute leader of the German army the second advantage they discovered it was their power not not the big bombers the heavies because at that time we didn't have ways to guide our bombs down you you you flattened whole areas we had strategic bombing the P. twenty six and the typhoon fighter bomber that the British and launched that Mustang was also good the P. forty seven all of these fighter bombers carrying rockets and five hundred pound bombs and fifty calibers will learn to work with the infantry so you're supporting the infantry from the end of tactical function that if that is true novel and they have not done it before because I've never been up against German armor what that man made possible was that the Germans whenever they mounted a concentration to counter attack or whatever they tried to use the roads to reach the front the fighter bombers would range over them the Germans called them job us which is short for the year of the German word yacht bomber or hunter yes jogos the job was would be over so they can only move at night that constricted their movement and when they tried to counter attack during the day here come the job us from out of nowhere you will recall that at the end of July early August of Rommel's trying to gather up a counterattack which eventually com's but he decides to return to his headquarters in the daylight and the job was getting any so badly wounded is out of the war there right they keep putting off generals because they're out they're charging around the battlefield so those are two advantages the other advantage I learned from James Holland something that wasn't obvious the American army the fourth division the twenty ninth and the first move from Omaha and Utah to reunite with it a second eighty first and around Carentan and then the big headquarters for the region was for the Germans with that state law that's the headquarters of the seventh army that we're trying to destroy well in order to reach out a same law you have to go through the book Kash country it was very difficult fighting but the Americans were successful and we celebrate why because Montgomery bogged down at kat drained off the German armor it's the success of James Holland's book that he makes the case very clearly that Montgomery who was castigated at the time the British were derided for not making the successes the Americans were making on the right flank word draining the Germans of their best equipment so that rather than mount a major counter attack the Germans are arriving on the battlefield piecemeal their resupplying their panzers and not and not gathering them for the storm they wanted to launch this load thanks to break so so in the last minute we have drawn the the take home the strategic conclusion is none of this was done deal the idea that the day was going to be a level correct there's so much charms from Hitler's addiction suit so separating James Holland's book it's scary because you're not sure you're gonna win that's how close it was and the fact they did manage to merit a locket we're we're the luckiest country as Churchill said we eventually do the right thing after tried everything they just show footage we have fox news instru do they just showed footage of I don't know it must be in his nineties a paratrooper landing in a tandem a parachute jump at the celebrations quite quite incredible in the original game in his original exclusive paratrooper boots that was so proudly worn by the airborne on those beaches when they landed we are talking to John the bachelor follow him John Batchelor show one of the most popular part cost out there and for good reason this is Sebastian goal on the Salem radio network with America first we can watch us listen to us alive that said.

"Make you happy zero it's a it's close it's pretty pretty darn close so related to sublet side story this came out over the weekend but in Bismarck North Dakota on it was found at the minority airforce base nuclear missile facility okay and in central North Dakota is reported last week the undisclosed amount was found on October ninth the missile facility according to an airforce sergeant there the drug was discovered above ground not near the missile operators he said good Air Force base is one of our one of the nation's two B. fifty two bomber bases that oversees a hundred and fifty Minuteman three nuclear missiles the bases been under scrutiny since I was seven when a mishap with a B. two bomber was mistakenly armed with six nuclear tipped cruise missiles remember that if you have a little bit though it like because I don't care I mean like there's any fear I know I mean I would more be worried if it was the guys at the controls in case they actually had to go in once the missiles and they were high on pot they were like I don't know what with this kid he's somebody else to help turn as a same time it's just that's the only reason I would be good for server for thirty years I never thought I'd have to actually do this I don't know man and sickened more more ripped before we let this rip yeah I'm not too worried if the email somebody went out back you got high yeah whatever whatever whatever this is probably really boring is probably related exactly probably a pretty boring you know flying the plane is probably a pretty boring job waiting for something to happen that never dies in North Dakota in north in North Dakota North Dakota president trump on Sunday according to fox news said that he did not tell house speaker Nancy Pelosi about the US military raid in Syria that resulted in the death of the ISIS leader Abu Bakar al Baghdadi because he was worried about leaks that would've compromise the mission yeah yeah yeah that's a man who learns from experience it's totally true and grant's know that people are focused solely on you know well he didn't tell below sea he didn't tell Schumer earns like well he there were probably at least five or six people in that team that that would have had to have been looped in before it got to below sea or Schumer said to me it's less about hello see even though you know sure yeah I I would never trusted her with that information if I'm the president right now but it's more about all of the other people that did would have gotten looped in and I yeah absolutely one hundred percent sure of something a negative would have leaked if he'd if he'd of actually looped everybody V. P. penser said this was not an indication of a lack of trust when asked if he notify policy beforehand it kinda it kinda is you can be honest about it trump said he did not because he didn't want to any members of the US forces to dive right in Mike pence was winking at the camera when he said that no not a lack of trust really no I didn't I didn't do that from said I wanted to make sure this was kept secret I don't want to have people lost in again I'll make the point that I made earlier trump could have trolls the Democrats on this because we we know just based off their behavior since he you know since he got elected.
Pence, a loyal No. 2, finds himself caught up in impeachment
"Well now the vice president of United States Mike pence has been pulled in to the impeachment inquiry yeah it seems that The Washington Post is put a story out and it says president trump repeatedly involved vice president pence in efforts to exert pressure on the leader of Ukraine at a time when the president was using other channels to solicit information that he hoped would be damaging to democratic rival Joe Biden so so we know about the trump phone call with Ukraine we know that secretary of state Pompeii right was on sale it was a it was on the call on the or listen to the call okay so he was part of it yeah you can make up your mind out there if you think the call was okay or not okay done matter to me but at least we have a written transcript of what we sell wrecked and now it's Mike pence yeah we don't know what Penn's said and you know what if I'm gonna defend Mike pence I'll do it this way all right he could have just said okay I'll do what you say with pushing putting putting the Ukraine president on notice or saying Hey we need more cooperation trump I never said I wondered on Biden he may never have said that but it's still not a good look when you have the president of the United States trying to get dirt the vice president putting pressure on Ukraine for whatever reason it's not a good look so you know you you can like you said you can take a number of different ways pants was just doing what he was told well okay fine he may not have known what the ultimate goal was but it still doesn't look good that trump is now using other people in his administration had dark to get dirt or to put pressure or to do whatever. no no pants may be under some kind of scrutiny investigation for an impeachment hearings officials coast depends insist he was unaware of trump's efforts to press right the Ukraine president for damaging information about biting and his son what we're also finding out is I guess a couple months ago trump instructed pence not to attend the inauguration of you can't read the Ukrainian president pence was supposed to go. then it was canceled and I kind of remember that and I remember what I thought I don't care. I mean I know it wasn't so I don't give a great deal of that's not right well I care for Mike pence's wanna go so it but it did it in my mind it inside isn't that strange pence is going to go to Ukraine sit there for the inauguration of I don't care okay why did trump instruct pence not to attend he said it well you can speculate what we said it was putting pressure on Ukraine isn't it isn't it to to make them Cooper what was it you know what no I'm not gonna send Mike pence to go out right and sit your inauguration because I doesn't give you validation yeah it doesn't make you look like a legitimate leader of the again you can come up with another reason you can't prove that that's the case you can you can think it is a maybe it is and where you can you really prove it or could you say you know what I mean it has to do something different and already officials close to penser insisting he was not aware of trump's final game okay okay you bought yeah you can also say he was doing something he should not have been
