"Is now on a slander tour. Because michael jordan was probably like ask you my best friend. Then he went to others. Like yeah you my best friend. Then he went to other eight. That's my best friend. Best friend best friend. That's my best friend and the problem is sale. Look ahead his side. Kicks kristaps thinking. A dog human hardaway. You really my number. Two a penny smith you really my number two and you can't be a superstar plan with another superstar you don't trust and the fact of the matter is slick. Rick hit on a hand on us. I take which is if the mavs win. All praise be to luca but when they lose. Yeah but chris. Tops fell off man. I mean christoph saying the same rick carlisle no. He brought us are only chip. But he really ain't like that donald donnie nelson. Really honestly he got to. Go to. But me luca i'm without fault. Even though i only saw twenty seven percent from the field in the fourth quarter during the course of the series in which we lost lucas. Do but we've seen great players before when early to without causing drama dwayne wade. He was the third year in the league. He wanted chip lebron james. He was a dude fourth year in a league. He went to a chip without help. We've seen great players win without blowing up entire organizations. Luke may still win. I believe he will but he's definitely going to win and leave a whole pilot dust on way to do it all right so i have to put a time stamp on this because what i'm saying is that stars shouldn't go play with luca danni or wants to play with luca danni right now. I believe that bringing jason kidd in another former point guard ball dominant guy but also very capable of leading team and getting a lot of guys involved. But he's going to be a big benefit to to luke and let's not also ignore the fact that he's coming from a different culture and he's got a demonstrate that he's capable of playing in a game that is still very americanized it's a little more euro that's been but still americanized and there's a certain attitude and approach that you need to fit in and get along and bring guys along. The one reason why i say right now is because dot. It's much like lebron. James for being a superstar has demonstrated the willingness and ability to share the ball and shared wall and meaningful situations. When he's getting double teamed in the fourth quarter. He's willing to give it up to tim. Hardaway and finish smith and two kristaps porzingis. So i appreciate that in that dodge. It's is very willing in spite of his or supreme belief in himself. He is willing to give the ball up. If it means that somebody else has a better shot day willing to get a ball up if he got somebody he thinks that can do something with the ball when he gives it up. It's just that simple show. How dare you try to take slander. My best friends. it's funny. we can have associates. We have the best deepest. I said best friends. It's the level this level. My sisters my first best friend. 'cause i was born into a household witter. She's my best friend now. She can't get off the board because shoot. She was forced on me. And i love her. Now i in kindergarten jabari shows up then it. I've been knowing borey forty one years then freshman year. That is it. My is only man. Come now i got my sister forestall me jabbar kindergarten and i got more mess sale. Got rory but let me get into you. That it ain't to explain myself is to poke holes that what you said got best raise that ain't tiki that as a gory hardaway zoo. Fibi smith those are the next coming out about talking about those could be as best as they got trust issues because they don't trust are good. That could play the game. I trust my best real quick though. Yes this this is actually more important conversation about this artistry writers. Yesterday's sales said that you can't use the words very unique because something unique is already unique. It can't be very unique. So how can you have best friends. Because best is already clarifying that singular. They are the best. You can't have multiple bests. There is why take that. I'll take maybe pig on national jazz. Who's my best here right now ourselves while you go. I'm selfish. god in the inner power destiny. I love myself more than anybody. All right sleek tested coming up refers. Hey mark casket is customized for what is only me. Why tell you who tonight's next those faithful yourself chris. Paul can earn his first trip to the nba finals. If the big if the sun's can beat the clippers tonight cvt struggled from the field in game five. While paul george cheyne career playoff high forty one points to help marcellus this clippers off eating in the nation so sale who's gonna more pressure tonight c. p. three pg thirteen all these numbers. Down down. paul. Paul george famous when they gotta do your name either one word or acronyms or numbers. Which number has thirty six in their name. Cpt three six thirty six. That means april. You got more shots at this and this is so messed up. Because i thought three found his way i still love that dude in terms of him. Being a former clipper him just being a great do but man i just see right now that his legacy just got tangled up in a web because he was a contributing factor as you would say limiting contributing factor to their success except now he may be that same person who has that negative impact on their season. So as chris. Paul paul doors has got when people do this and finally rub their eyes and looked at paul george correctly with lasik surgery and look at his performances and his real numbers as stopped trying to joke. Because this society is about means and just ridiculed so i can find something about you out you a run with it and it's just the funniest thing. How many times did you hear somebody from last year when you first did. You're uncomfortable conversation to this moment. Say a joke would uncomfortable in it. Exactly because there's this gag yourself an opportunity to be out there in shutdown. Hit down like the pin yada. So i'm not even worried about pandemic paul george. I'm not sorry playoff. I'm sorry. I'm not worried about that. Because the clarity is gonna come when you look at his performances. Chris paul too old to be doing is still man. It's on c. p. three. I agree with you. Chris paul's under more pressure. And it really doesn't matter how you look at it. And i know you don't view pressure is someone who has more to lose because they have more thus they have more to lose but even if you look at it as someone who has more to gain chris. Paul both has more to lose and he has more to gain thus to me. He has more pressure. He has more to lose. Obviously because we know the whole legacy monterey gets hurt he gets hurt. He gets hurt because he gets hurt. He caused his team chips in the playoffs but also he has more to gain because he's played longer and he doesn't have a chip and chris. Paul is the one who could be cemented in a top five at his position of all time. Paul george is a superstar. But i don't think. Paul george can do anything to become one of the top five shooting guards the of top five small forwards of all time. It's just too late in his career and it would have been earlier peaking his career. He has a devastating leg injury so cpi three got more to gain. Cpa three got more to lose and deeply three for being real to cells point. He was paul. George wouldn't surprise us if he failed or choked. If you will we shoot off all jokes as it is the reason he's been called pandemic p reason he's been called away off peeve reason. I called him some star so paul george. We've come accustomed to like well. He went five for twenty today. It's just paul george again. He went five for twenty in game. Four last not surprising. But chris paul the only reason you're teams have typically fall in short is because you got hurt or not because you didn't bowl but because you got hurt you healthy right now. At least in perception we don't know the lingering effects of covert but you own the court so you healthy if you still go out there and your team falls short while you were healthy now is not that you got hurt house just you not that do dog you gotta sign you. Got us the tore. You got us a hit album. Then you go away. And we produce more hits then you.

"Thank you shannon sharpe. You do know how. Tv works right. You saw you through. These are the ones my gag gift. I still got him good to go soon. You are wearing bill bailey. Wow you're excited about that okay. We have so much to talk about today and it has a lot to do with. Those shoes skips clippers. Well not the joining the lakers with an early playoff exit. Thanks to twenty-eight points from and twenty two from paul. George the clippers also shot an impressive twenty four for twenty four from the free throw line and they won twenty six to one eleven win over the mavericks to complete their series comeback after being down two oh and then three two so shannon. What is the biggest reason. The clippers came back and won the series. We'll give the last two games while sensational. He was unbelievable. He phenomenal and we know in big moments like this. And when you must have it your superstars must come to the forefront but this was all about the role players if you go back. Friday may skip. Reggie jackson get off to the roaring start. And he rode alone with kuwa- now. Paul george the last two games gift. He didn't shoot the ball. He was six to fifteen sunday night friday night and he was five fifteen but he did other things one game. He had thirteen rebounds yesterday. He had ten this. He's there so you know what i might not have scoring. I might not be the patient as i normally am. But i'm going to do other things to help his team win. But when you go back yesterday it was all about. Markets more senior skip. He tie stale curve for the most most three point shots in a game seven with seven. Let's for just a second slick. Marcus morris senior thai steph curry the greatest shooter the greatest three point shooting for the most threes and a game. Seven you got also paul twenty two reggie jackson. Fifteen terrorists may came off the bids. Thirteen big in the first half luke canard who a three d. and he came in and contributing. And that's what you need it for me. This is why. I told you we had the conversation friday. What do you think happens when we come back in as the. I believe the clippers will win. I'm not worried about luka doncic. I know lucas going to give me. He's gonna be spectacular but if davis is a fina smith coming along is hardaway junior. Come along as don't mention the unicorn. I don't wanna hear the somebody mentioned kristoff us. There's nothing unique about him. He's seven free seven foot three. He plays like he's six foot. Three in all he wants to do is shoot three pointer. Skip the tallest lake. The clippers will what kawai six eight. They're playing behind him little tune six eight player behind him. Paul george he wants to around the perimeter. Get your big tall lanky. Burn down on. The block is turn the ball over the top of yesterday. Penny smith and luca with eighteen from three everybody else not low name. Luca finished meals was one eighteen in a situation like this. We talked about this a lot of football. Because that's what we do. I say what's the true measure of a team offense or defense. Can you do what you need to do. You have to do if you know what happens when you need a first down. When you need a touchdown appeal. Can you go get it. If you're the number one defense can you shut. Someone down the clippers back. What would they all your loans. Get the best free throw shooting team. Perfect twenty twenty four. What would they. Three point has a three point percents. Eighteen twenty three. That's how you won the ball. That's how they won the ball game but skip. Wow was unbelievable. Almost one rebound rebound short of a triple double. But it was the role players. Marcus morris nichols tune reggie jackson tariff man. Luke kuhn are. Those are the different because luca cancelled out. Paul george and now he needed one or two guys to come along with him and he didn't get it yesterday but were spectacular. But that's why the la clippers one is because the role players came along on one. My turn. I was wrong about being wrong about the clippers but in the end to wrong some made a right because i was initially right about picking the clippers to win not only this series but i believe i'm going to be right about them winning the west and getting to the finals. I believe i'm going to be right about them winning the finals. What has jeff. Van gundy said repeatedly on abc. The clippers are the most talented team in the west. That's what he says in the west. I have told you all year there the deepest team in professional basketball. So all about the role players blah blah blah blah blah. Yeah they're deep you ridiculing. Luke kennard where is he married forever to fifteen hundred. He rose joan yesterday. S come up big big moment when they really needed to three here or there and make a defensive play a stop steel. They are so deep. It's scary. they have not played demarcus cousins. a bit. I'm going to guess that he'll play more in the next series abacus still has a bad back. I thought he was going to be a big contributing factor and maybe he will be at some point in the next series or if possible the next series. But let me say that. These clippers are simply the most frustrating maddening team. I have ever picked rooted for in my career. There's never been anything like with. The clippers. did to me over the last couple of weeks when they took about seven years off my life. I want everybody to understand. Just what hold they were in. They lost the first two games at home. They were down thirty to eleven to friday nights ago at dallas before a packed house at the end of covet. A packed house seemed like nobody was wearing masks. Except the players the coaches and it featured the pactolus dak prescott in the first role and michael irvin up in one of the boxes and it was madness in that arena american airlines. And if you're down thirty to eleven in a game three on the brink of devastation and elimination because if they fall down owen three what's going to happen. They're not gonna come back from that. And suddenly the mavericks are still making threes. In the second half the mavericks that night made twenty three pointers on that friday night in the third game not team in the history of the nba has ever made twenty. Three's and lost our home. Planet not never happened before and it happened. That friday night and i will tell you the truth. I'm pretty good at analyzing box scores. I still can't make compute my head. How some the clippers won that game but they did and then came back in game four and they pretty much blue little mavericks offshore blowout game. That was the blow at game and then they came home. And you know what that did to me. That might have taken twelve years off my life because at home they crumble down the stretch with the weight of the nba world on their shoulders. Because everybody knows the clippers are the stepchildren in the basement at staples. And what did they do right on schedule. They came apart like clippers. Always come apart. They choked and they gagged and they crumbled and there were a lot of unforced errors in at the end of the game. What happened cohen leonard. Winds up shooting an air ball from the corner. The same coli who had made a seven ballots. Three point shot on the rim to win the eastern conference finals. Obviously over the filthy seventy sixers might have been only bad shot. I took the whole series. That's what i'm saying. That same guy then bounced back in game six at dallas. This was another shocker. I'm going to remind you in game six this past friday night. I lost five cases of diet. Do because i said the mavericks will close it out tonight. You were correct. I think you were just trying to jinx me but does okay point as you admitted it you.

"For now, the last 37 years over 30 years on the air here in Baltimore, talking about money talking about investment. I'm happy to be here today with you. Okay again On number four Questions is 9 to 26680, 2000 and 21, obviously right around the corner. We've had a very exciting, very volatile year with the covert pandemic, shutting the economy down, and now there's some talk and discussion and investment action on the fact that this is gonna open up. We have our vaccines. In places far as we know right now, and as the vaccine gets distributed, we think this will encourage folks to open the economy up more and more and more. Let's talk about some ideas. That may be appropriate for your portfolio. You they may not. And these are not buy or sell or hold recommendations because I've got to know a little bit more about you before I do that. But these were just some ideas for you to consider, perhaps do a little research on Or even call me for research and we'll be happy to send it out to you. The number you call to get information for me. Today is eyes 877. Paul Gill. It's easy, 877 C A. L L G L just mentioned what we discussed on the air. You'd like to receive hard copy on and we'll send it out to you automatically at no charge First thing on Monday, Okay? First idea we discussed last week also, but I want to talk about it. A little more is Smith and Wesson symbol Swb. I now if you're opposed to guns if you don't want to own a gun company if you don't want to own a gun stock First. That's perfectly fine and second. Listening, but don't make the investment because this is a gun company. Why are we investing in Smith and Wesson? Well, this 175 year old company with a very strong balance sheet and a very well known product type. They have a very nice Business model that very well regarded name in the gun industry now. If you recall back that last summer, we had lots of riot violence, and at the same time, a segment of the political population Woz Focusing on the funding police. So you've got a little bit of anarchy here and there and you've got a push to reduce police protection. That's brought many Americans. Ah, lot of concern and they're looking to do south protection when the things people do for self protection is they buy themselves Ah, personal use gun. Gun sales have gone through the roof. And applications for background checks. For gun sales and gun licenses have also gone through the roof. So that move is helping companies like Smith and Wesson sales increase pretty dramatically. The second catalyst, which we think and move Smith and Western higher Is the fact that Smith and what Westen manufacturers and has for years manufacturers of very fine semiautomatic rifle. Now the gun enthusiasts that I talk to you. Are pretty convinced that the Biden administration may try to outlaw semiautomatic weapons, especially rifles. If that happens, you're not going to be here to get these guns. So what are people doing? They're not walking. They're running to their gun provider and trying to buy semi automatic weapon and all the ammunition that they can Yes, they're afraid they're not going to be able to after the abiding by the administration makes the moves on this. So those two reasons I think they're driving. Ah lot of seals for Smith and Wesson and should Increased the value to suck, I say should not a guarantee started by cell a hold recommendation. But it's a direction that I think you can consider the Smith and Wesson symbol Swb. I Close on Friday. $18 in two cents. Analysts targets on average around 23 $24, a share ages. Capital y firm has an analyst who follows his talk Also, they also feel it Z fully valued at 23 $24 this year so we can make a nice percentage gain. Will Smith and Weston if you buy it here around $18. You ever take a few pennies? Smith and Wesson one. I want you to consider For your 2000 and 21 portfolio. 92266 eighties. Their phone number 4 10 92266 City. Now, if you're a regular listener, and thank you for being a regular listen, you know that I could go on for putting much forever. About money about investing, but I much prefer to have a dialogue. I prefer not to make a speech. I prefer to talk to our listeners. So help me out. Pick up the phone. Give me a call here at 92266 80. We could have a discussion rather than have me make a speech. Okay? Next stop. I find very interesting again not to buy, sell or hold recommendation, but very interesting as there's a company called APP Harvest a pee pee. Harvest. Before you do another thing. If you're interested in what I'm gonna tell you about it go online punching, app harvest That's the name of the company and watch about a three minute video they've produced to describe what app harvest is. I think you'll be very favorably impressed. That harvest is now working in the state of Kentucky. In coal mining region and our former coal mining region was nobody really mining any more cold there and coal country and what they're doing. Is they taking technology that's been developed. And works from Holland. And they're developing. In side forming In Kentucky. Greenhouse forming high tech greenhouse forming. They're going to grow tomatoes and greens in eastern Kentucky. Yeah, This technology is being used now in Holland. Has been in Holland that small country, the second largest food exporting country in the world, the second largest so why bring that up is this is not Experimental technology. This is not something that APP harvest has to develop. This is something that's already in place and already making folks an awful lot of money and Highland. Yeah. Why? Kentucky? Well, The area of Kentucky they're operating in is a 24 hour drive within 70% of United States population. So when you're delivering Fresh produce. Like tomatoes. Greens. It's very important to get the fresh produce to the end user as quickly as possible being.

"The election results to court might not get the president the results he wants. Chris Davis reports. It's not quite a black and white things as I you, assistant professor of law Nicholas Helman, Doris, He says that it's not like you take somebody to court if you're in an accident, and you sue for 10,000 bucks, and you get that 10,000 bucks. In an election court is not good at determining the outcome. Court does not want to throw throw out a whole bunch of ballots. The court cases that he's bringing are actually smaller cases. And not one big one that says the election is wrong unless there's some new kind of legal challenge, so predicting what's going to happen is going to be tough. Chris Davis 93 w I. He's right there in the Sunday runs my way and he gave me right Back of the and decided to Boston in the back wheel came, I look back and then another eighteen wheeler took care of business I'm just you know Don Don Don said she's very but you know I'm surprised they haven't hit more I'm just waiting for that Moose man it's not going to be I think we'll probably win but he'll get his This hour we're talking to John Breaking John Breaky, and I have known each other since two thousand and four and on the same path of I didn't focus I. Mean I did on the election law thing is a exposure to these guys. But I'm just like man, there's something deeper than you know, why are they doing who is doing what? That's Kinda the road I went down but I'm always supportive of what John Break he does because he's going around exposing how they're stealing the elections. Now he's made his way with some help. You know we everybody's helped each other you. Know we made sure he gets you know whatever we can do to help him and he's gotten to the point to where now he has the ear of some of the county recorder's Arizona. They're opening up some stuff. There's he's advocating for the images. When you do your ballot, it goes being accounts the image it takes image of it and then Netflix's counted and that is the official record along with the paper in the hard drive in the computer. There it is there. You can see you count the m you sit on your couch and do it yourself kind of thing well. The do that the cell after all exposure of election fraud, the companies come up. Devices they all we can do this for that will a lot of the places around the country turned that feature off they. Don't want accurate election. What the Hell you think we are you know. So now in Arizona you got him to do it. You think you're confident. You're going to be able to analyze stuff John, come on help me out here. Well I would say this is that I think the New York Times that on a seven big winks nate Arizona, the vet. And what makes him the vet is because we have hold on they all preserving the ballot image of Violon now, and then of course, what's happening in their COPA? With Adrian, Ponce's in how he had changed maiden note one of the best election apartments in the country a lot of that was built When we when the Libertarian Party got together and I through the whole state two, thousand, sixteen, it created a tipping point I can see that. Could be able to set this thing up in Maricopa, and then of course, passing a lot of state wide survey having secretary state who feature manual and now. Pima County with the other day I little shock I walked into the high. G Go on it. We want to show you what we're doing of course say de Brother. It was interesting. And Many, many nine. Ability and hamlet well, is it the same guy's there? s from before. Now not only person laughed Brad Nelson. The other guys that were involved they're gone and. On that and so and then everything's under camera. I'm looking for a close election in Arizona. I got the funding to be able to work with the candidate particularly in Maricopa I wanna do this and. Because we're two thirds of the way in Arizona having elections of transparent trackable quickly verify it's that one third man it's always the one look verify. But it's always that one third man that one third today left. Got The first two thirds done and and now I know I can beat them on that bullshit that they put together when they passed the law saying that valid images must be preserved ain't. That cannot be put well, our constitution and the way the. Ballots are public record in our state and these images are copies of those and they belong. Now if ballot point unique, you gave one get a copy of those supposedly by walk because the legislators pass laws saying the record camera whenever they make it difficult and that's understandable. Images are no excuse locate just like the slide I have on the window. Frame right here is that there's two official ballots won the machine count and the other the what people build out which is the hand mark paper valid one is protected. The other one is a public record. Now the public record is digital copy. You're saying, right? Both of them are, are you going to get you? Are you going to get access to them after you're GONNA be able to examine it or they? You know they? That's what we've been building up to. I mean that's what all this stuff is. What the movie fairly log was about. That's why we need to look I wanna see I wanNA check I wanna and we got laws passed a no six. I remember Secretary of state in that they have to do manual validating is that still in? you're doing the. And? Because they're only doing that. Warning the black thing gene. Fighting. Bill poll in Maricopa. Election night covered had like five hundred. And fifty hundred each and and you know the whole batch beforehand to me like we have fifteen hundred banks now and we're gonNA pull caught twenty-five five and that means the rest of them were available to be rich that. For me. So we were used to being had to be random. They're rolling dice throwing darts drawn straws or whatever picking out Bingo you know balls or something, but you're saying now they're pre selecting the precincts that are being checked. No artem work. That's the problem the. Voting Centers in Maricopa and then we have vote by mail by mail is all one thing now it's not there's one big group. So our they auditing that. They as their accounting vote by mail and they start as much fourteen days out that they pull two batches a day randomly. Okay. But to me, that is like quitting a scarlet letter in the file and saying, you can hack everything but twenty five. Now that's I don't think that's happening America. But that probably is happening in other states you know the document I sent. If it can is off my fear to politics that it'd be ripped off across the country. Culpa preserves the ballot images. Yeah. But it doesn't matter if the balance themselves, it doesn't matter John if the ballots themselves are what some private company said here count this stack. And that's what's happened. You know we when they do the mail and stuff it was supposed to be that you check the signature. Well, they happy. We knew they weren't doing it because they physically didn't have the people to do it. You know I'm going. The whole process Pennsylvania just made a ruling Supreme Court Pennsylvania. Supreme Court said. You don't have to check. Doesn't matter. As all sorts of problems and I'm in Pennsylvania too okay I'm in Michigan Michigan's a disaster warning is a disaster in my opinion. Okay. Sanity it, Isa mumbling idiots get only Johnson. Look white guy there who's like I can respect that. Yeah, I respect that. They will listen again. They're ignorant cowards. They don't understand what's happening. You they want change. I read the back of the New York Post. All the sweets I talked about earlier with you. Ah, that we we demand change. What do you want? Defund the police. What do you want A diaphragm laws When they can't arrest people. You want to neuter the police. And what happens, Black people die. Black People get assaulted. Black people get shot. That's the result. Do you understand that? It is that difficult concept, Penny Smith. And by the way, all you had to do was not show up right at the right type of grant money, Which is what they're all about. Great. Get very dramatic. I mean, you have to understand this all started yesterday when the Milwaukee Bucks Three playoff games yesterday. The box about to take on the Orlando Magic 4 P.m. eastern time tip off, So I'm sitting there watching Channel three await MBA TV to watch some of the game because I'm a hypocrite. And it's for 18 and the announcers are still like, Where are these guys? And then in like 4 19. They announced they decided not to play in former N B. A All star Steve Smith. Starts to Ah, you know, just Ah, poetry, and these guys are martyrs and its beautiful. This is a moment in time. We'll never forget. Now. The Bucks could've very easily canceled the game at nine o'clock in the morning 10 o'clock in the morning, but they wait. It's all about grants rights than ESPN had two hours of television Then then they had LeBron James. He was upset because the Bucks didn't call him first. So it wasn't like it was a unilateral decision instead of Everybody being united. So all of a sudden you've got hours and hours and hours of hateful, nonsensical programming because they set it up that way. They look. They're inciting. Ah, throwing gasoline on the fire. They don't know what they're talking about that what you want justice. Everybody wants justice. There's an investigation going on into the shooting. There's an investigation. "Play off the day. Check this out. Penny Smith trying to get the Luca they do, but way outside can get it away. Time off. Step back. He's got the Mavericks have won the game. Look a Dodge. It's with a 30 ft, or the wedding at the Horn and the Syriza tied at two games apiece. That's the play of the day, courtesy of K E S. N 10. 33 Luca goes for 43, 17 and 13 assists and the buzzer beater. They overcame a 21 point second quarter deficit when you see that highlight again As soon as Luca releases the ball and you watch the clippersbench. And then it goes in. And you see, Doc Rivers just walk by himself into the locker room. So as soon as it goes in, and then Lucas celebrates you to see Doc Rivers is I would love to have heard Doc rivers in that locker room. And Reggie Jackson did his best that he could. I can't switch in a situation like that. If I got caught, I Leonard and I I have to take the ball out of his hands. If Seth Curry beats me it just like when I would watch the Bulls. If John Paxson's going to beat me or Steve Kerr, I can live with that. I can't live with Michael Jordan beating me. The great players. And I see it so many times where we allow them to go. One on one. We let them isolate. I want to go. I want to throw another man at you. I just want you to give up the ball. I want to put it in the hands of somebody who normally doesn't take that shot. That's my biggest problem. Play of the day is brought to you by Home Depot. Everyday low prices even bigger savings When you purchase by the palate, the pro's best option when it comes to flooring the Home Depot. How doers get more done. Yes, boy. So the previous Possession. I think why has the ball and Jeff and gun he says that exact same thing is they should double team Co. I make him give up the ball and live with whatever shot is taken by another player, because I'm fine with that amount coach if I can get the ball, the quiet hands and they didn't double team quiet, But he did give the ball to Morris and he had the shot, and Van Gundy said exactly what you're saying. That's what the coaches always want. The according to the athletic. The Brooklyn Nets, eliminated from the playoffs have interest in Greg Popovich as their next head coach. Now, this has been out there for about a month. What team wouldn't have interest in Greg Popovich? I don't know how really is. Because I thought Pop might be done with the Spurs. But I didn't look at this and say Well, he's might be done with the Spurs, but not done with coaching this. According to the athletic 70 Sixers. They're expected to fire bread Brown. And they're just throwing a bunch of names here. You're going to hear J right from Villanova for the 70 Sixers. Tai Liu is also in there. So there There's a few names that you've heard of before. That's according to the athletic, so make 11 year in the crowd of the 70 Sixers game against the Celtics. How does that happen? That you are sitting virtually next to Scottie Pippen? So we have a friend and Michelob Ultra, who has like a box like they actually like divided into boxes like I'm in a luxury suite. So it's a little sub. It's Microsoft teams here in this little sub room where you can see the 25 people with you on half the screen and the game on the other half of the screen. The problem is my daughter starts streaming a Disney movie right next to me, and all of a sudden the game is glitchy. So Josh Richardson's bricks are not coming in and full of colors, so you can't react to the game because It's hard to get all the technology working. And they were that Microsoft teams had help person on the entire time telling fans like Listen, You gotta adjust your camera here. There, so it was really organized. Lots of rules. Is there a moderator? It was a was a high person in our sweet Wait, Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean, like you have to get excited that you're not already excited? It's we're down to Oh, and about to lose. A third gave you that Michelob ultra hyper guy in there because it was a celebrity Scottie Pippen and B. J. Armstrong going there. So you slow moments of the game, he would talk to Scottie Pippen. He was sort of entertaining the crowd. It was like a corporate suite feel. Did you have a virtual keg in there? No, they said they said $30 worth of Michelob Ultra to everyone in the suite delivered from your local deli. So everybody was drinking beer. It was just like like a corporate event. You know how like corporations So it felt like a suite, And I did actually asked Scotty a question. I said, Who's better? Luca, Dante's or Tony Coo coach. Oh, And I knew they would back Tony a little bit and he's he. But he did say, said coach would be unstoppable in today's game. Bye, Lucas a little better. Yeah. Tony Tony's actually underrated Tony Coo coaches underrated. He was a really, really talented player at that height with that handle, and he could play point and he had a lot of European hype coming over here. But you know when he got, he got shut down by the Dream team in the Olympics, and then he kind of tapered off a little bit. Then he got Caught up in the the shadows of Michael on Scottie when he got there are those two players comparable, Luca remind you a little bitters, Luca. Just a different thing. Luke is different. Well, look who's different. Yes. I was going to ask Andrew, if he could interact with the people in this suite. Okay, you could just in the little pod on they knew once they say we're about to be on TV. So that was cool. But then I watched the rest of thing you notice like there's a lot of stone face people. That's all home Internet connections, mostly K. They're frozen Freeze ups. Yeah. Phone calls here. Best Commerce of the weekend as we do every Monday. It's Adam in Texas. Who leads us off, Adam. Hardaway stores the hard way four minutes left in the period like that, Sean Lou Williams drives to the left way hangs in the air, and he's found that's the only thing that stopped us here in the third. I mean, it's been hair on fire. Race cars around. Fittingly, on the day that the Indy 500 is being run for the first time ever in August, Doc's going from or answers on the bench. That's the one thing you didn't want to do. Being too critical. But when a team is dying to score points can't put it in the basket. The last thing you want to do is put him on the free throw line. "Players to play? Well, that's the bottom line of the play off. Denver Nuggets head coach's team falls by 19 Straight talk wireless No contract, no compromise. They're having trouble. Donovan Mitchell. He had 30 more points in the victory. Silver linings for Denver. The young fellow Michael Porter Jr with 28 points. Nikolay Yokich 28 as well to go along with 11 rebounds. Good start to the third quarter for the Mavericks. They've pushed back to Eight point lead as we send it back to testy and J. Pat you mentioned it earlier. Donovan Mitchell with 87 points in the first two games. Look, Has 64 we stirred just underway in the second half here in Game two Mavericks leading by eight. Amazing how much great young talent This league has right guys under 24 25 years old. So many say it all The time you get that new rotation of future all stars coming in, and we're seeing it now led by, Don in years to come. The Clippers Paul George, looking Get in the score book, and he's being chased out on the perimeter. And Reggie Jackson just shot from Finnish myth. Yeah, maybe collarbone left side is down and on his back, Smith picks up his third. Freddie Jackson, playing for Patrick. Beverley was out with Katherine. Didn't Reggie Jackson have a shoulder issue? I thought when he was in Detroit But he dealt with it. I know he don't with lower back in the lumbar stress reaction, but might have also affected his shoulders as well. Caught up with Penny Smith Jackson shaking it off. He's going to be the inbound 9 23 left in the third, holding the ball with the right hand gets it into George Furth. Rory missed another shot. Lieber the ribbon for the ball game. Unbelievable. Driving Morris down deep gets buyem short lay up, No tipped out. Dallas still hasn't study Smith down the middle of the lane. His short shot. Also, Mrs Zuba after the rebound, got fouled by finish Smith as he was attempting Snare that ball away before Dorian Smith forthe team foul against Dallas here, 903 to go mark of the third quarter. Clippers dominated at the line in the second quarter. Reggie Jackson is still kind of rubbing that left shoulder as well. I noticed the inbound with only his right hand last time. Where were they going at the point guard? Don't think Terrence man's gonna get another shot is 1.1 seconds late in the first half may not turn him. Well, obviously, Lou Williams is a guy that pop in the game You can play Paul George Point play Quite Leonard. The point really highlighted spots for three and hits boys struggled from distance early in the Syriza connects there. Don't you feel like getting separation here and the Clippers? Just hanging around? Feels like they should be up 10 15. Only up five on the drive. Hardaway floats it in 71 6 before Mavericks 30 on the clock and counting here in the third quarter. All George at the point over 40 points over 23 cuts to his left probably needs a lay up here he takes KP deep defended, well tipped in the air is loose on the end line. George saves it, George against poor Zynga's under the basket will pass out. Jackson Reloads George Corner three Good. And there's Paul George's first points of Paul, shaking his head to say. Finally, four point game. Dallas leads eight minutes to go in the third. Flee, But Ah Hardaway and inside for poor Zynga's who got pushed in it. That's on George. That will be a score. They got ready to reject his third. Side in for the Clippers, 58 free throw disparity. 15 points more of the line for the Clippers. Really? The only reason they're within four points to get off the inbound, dribbling to his right gets to the elbow down the lane looked at a little pocket past but couldn't get it into the corner. Maxie double team fires at the backboard. Late clock didn't get it. Zoo box collects the rebound and outlets bought a heck of a rebounder. It really is. Digit just about every game here in the bubble. There's Morris High wire Walker on the base line out to the right corner with 7.5 to play here in the third Against Cleaver. He'll pull the trigger on a deep J that Mrs in front court, bound with Dallas leading by four goes around poor Zynga screen. Reggie Jackson, trying to stay in front of them. Look against deep gets fouled, and we'll get himself to the free throw line. This has unbelievable ability to get whatever he wants in there..

"A very good from the program of course that is Bob Costas Bob is so good to have you back we start off by asking Bob how are you and everybody around you doing during this very unusual time where fortunately say rami that we're all fine we're we're healthy we're well situated just waiting it out like everybody else and doing what we can and you're able to be on the air all the time and even though as you may know I am a notorious technical I figured out the zoom and the Skype and everything else so I'm able to be on MLBN or anybody else that asked me I couldn't put it that way everybody'll start ask you make those who ask me and it seems worthwhile to do I'm able to do it I knew you would figure that stuff out Bob Bob Costas is joining us I did not have a concern about that for you in a moment this is Bobby brown sports for decades what then even with this technology what's it been like for you to be without sports for the last couple of months the fact that I have been around it for decades raw meat makes it easier for me to deal with that that's the right way to put it D. Y. hold for sports to be able to return safely and sensibly shown of course I do but I'm not out on the ledge with nothing else to do actually if you look at it the right way this is an opportunity to do some things you otherwise might not have done all those books on the shelf but you've been meaning to read well I've gotten to a lot of them are the old movies that you never saw or the ones you'd like to see again this is the opportunity to do it you know to exercise more regularly than you do when you're busy you know little more healthy I was talking to Joe Maddon yesterday Joe was gone from two hundred eighty pounds down to one ninety three because he's not eating out as much as they used to I mean Joe is is a real foodie and he loves his wine but the upside of the situation for him at least is that he's gotten into much better shape and he's been able as he put it to think about some things including about the composition of his angels roster and how he will approach this set of circumstances when they play if they're able to when they play half the season he's always been a guy who is a faker but now I guess he's been able to double down on that show look you and I and and many of the people that we regularly associate with are very very fortunate we just had two jobs you really feel for the people who are trying to survive so whatever adjustments we had to make we've made them a more like a bell let's face up extremely well said Bob Bob Costas is joining us nobody could and should follow you and talk baseball right there and if we have time I'll double back to it but I do want to ask you you were interviewed as part of the last dance what's it like looking back on that time for you well it was a wonderful time not just for the bulls and Michael Jordan it was a tremendous year in the NBA which is not to say that the recent Golden State Warriors of the Cavaliers when they had lebron or everything that Popovich and the spurs accomplished wasn't great but there was something about that era where bird and magic that again to Michael Jordan's Rana you have to give I say on the pistons I'm not sure what they did in between Karim was just retiring toward the end of the eighties the Lakers and Celtics had that wonderful rivalry you got the Dream Team thrown in and I said this in other places and people can factor in my bias I really think it mattered in terms of making Michael Jordan the bulls but also the NBA itself part of the pop culture conversation in a way that maybe it isn't now it mattered that the biggest games or on NBC on an over the air broadcast network before the media landscape became as crowded as it is now those games those big games or on NBC and the promos were on Seinfeld and ER and friends and David Letterman and the today show and that made it part of the pop culture conversation it was the second dream team didn't have the impact of the first what a second printing in ninety six of the Atlanta Olympics so look it's nothing against the presentation of the games now Ernie Johnson show with with Barkley Shaq and penny Smith is probably the best studio show and the history of American sports TV it isn't about the quality Mike green is a wonderful hall of fame announcer but the NBA on NBC how to kind of prominence and I kind of resonance we would show double and triple headers on a Saturday and Sunday on a weekend they were playoff games not just final games playoff games in prime time on week nights that meant that just about everybody who cared about it was in on it and that game six a lap dance final game is still by far the highest rated game in NBA history and even though the way it ended you couldn't ask for more dramatic scenario just think for a moment if there had been a game seven and they came very close to having a game seven against seven on a Wednesday night on NBC in nineteen ninety eight a larger reading still Bob Costas joining us my boss so what about that game six of the ninety eight finals has the highest TV ratings in NBA history as popular as Kobe and lebron have been they have not broken that number so in your mind is it still possible to have an athlete and a team transcend sports the way Jordan and those boys did we ever see anything like that again first of all you have to have someone that great that appealing is as handsome as a movie star he was beautiful to watch you have to have the constellation of stars around him you know it was a perfect storm I just forgot television components the Dream Team component the rivalries that were part of it three I don't want to call them secondary but I guess I just did but when you think of the other players who were gigantic stars just think of the roster of the Dream Team apart from Jordan and Pippen with two bowls on the team it all just comes together if you were casting a movie I guess the last dance in a way was a movie if you're casting movie I don't know that how you could possibly do better even on the poles apart from Jordan himself when the fascinating guys so is Rodman Jackson obviously is a very interesting guy Steve Kerr one of the most thoughtful and well spoken athletes and players are role players but the players role players like Steve Kerr John Paxton a part of the story it's a rich story doctors some two dimensional storage catalog texture to it what what did you make of the image of Michael Jordan is a person that we side depicted in that series I think it's humanized them a bit I didn't like the way he checked on Jerry Krause look there's legitimate criticism of Jerry Krause I think it was Phil Jackson said you deserve more credit than he got but he wanted more credit than he deserves an interesting thing to say looking to go eighty two and all this is still your last year and not ridiculous conceit organizations win championships not players well of course the whole organization matters but would help the key players it doesn't matter what kind of genius you fancy yourself a big you're not gonna win so okay crowds may deserve some criticism but that kind of cool kids versus the awkward thing that played out and you heard some of that I didn't think that reflected well on Michael but none of us are perfect and I thought a lot of what came out his passion his commitment to with his his obvious thoughtfulness in it and when I when I mean by that is not kind of I mean the thoughtful way in which he answered the questions this this is not a one or two dimensional person and I I think I came out the influence of his father it's fun that's for for his mom you know it I think it added some texture to the story and increased people's appreciation of Tampa specially as a player if they either forgotten or they were too young to experience first that experienced that firsthand their pre job creation of the fire but also I think it's still them out a little bit not fully but it's it's still them out a little bit of a person Bob Costas is joining us for a few more moments but was not my intention to bring you want to talk exclusively about Michael Jordan but you know baseball is was anybody knows baseball so I'm curious about this what do you make of Jordan's baseball career I think it's possible that had he committed to baseball eighty one but nearly as good a baseball player as he was a basketball player in the country would have been deprived of one of its epic sports stories but it's possible that he could have made the major leagues to be committed to baseball at the outset you know after you got out of high school I know that Terry Francona and others in the last day and said that if you get stuck with a Birmingham and made his way through the minor leagues that he might have been able to make it to the majors I think that's more they're expressing their respect for his work ethic and it is kind of amazing that a guy that never played professional baseball and hadn't played baseball at all in a very long time was able to hit over two hundred in the minor leagues and it was a good baserunner had good arm in right field the fact that he wasn't a joke I've the the the focus on him made people some people mocked his baseball efforts but the idea that somebody in their thirties who just leave their primary sport try another and not be terrible at it it's kind of amazing even at the double A. level do I think he would have made the major league city state and not come back to both I doubt it but I think it was amazing that he was as good as he was talking about Kostas sebab terms of the baseball season starting up his number things being discussed obviously right now but should this happen what would it be like to have a baseball season without fans both for you as a fan and as a broadcaster what a broadcasting standpoint whether it's done from an essentially empty stadium or whether it's done in the studio it isn't just the absence of the crowded big moments the cheering the Boeing there's a home a little buzz murmur of sound throughout a baseball game the court the baseball game is different my basketball hockey or football games in terms of how it plays out and the way the crowd sort of fills in some of the spaces and as a broadcaster we have to be mindful of that for five.
