"Doctor cordy Williams. Welcome back to America first. Thanks for having me. It's an honor. An absolute honor, as always. So tell me what is it a big day to today is that your birthday what's going on Cody? Well, you know, today is the day that we take back the republic and we take back those areas of this beautiful nation that folks in Palm Beach and consultants around the United States are saying that is impossible, but we're seeing through Virginia. We're seeing through New Jersey, but what was once impossible is now possible and I'm announcing my candidacy for the United States Senate is we're going to take on Alex Padilla and we're going to take on these ideologies that are counter choice and encounter the future of our kids, honestly. Remind millions of listeners which seat this is why Padilla has this seat in California. Well, he certainly didn't get elected by these Californians that aren't that are enjoying inflation and gas prices that are through the roof. When a certain lady that might as well be a criminal, instead of being thrown in jail of all time ago, Kamala Harris, went to Pennsylvania avenue, however she got there. I don't really understand it. A lot of people don't as well. What do you mean hang on hang on hang on Cory stuffing stuff? You mean you don't understand why a woman who got less than 2% in the Democrat primaries ends up one heartbeat away from the presidency? I mean, you're learned man. You're a doctor. How can you not understand that logical progression from having an affair with a married man to becoming the vice president?

House close to passing Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID relief plan

"After weeks of wrangling the house is expected to pass this relief. Bill and with that. It goes to president biden for his signature. So the question here is no longer about politics. That's done it's about whether the us government can actually deliver this aid quickly and reliably. Let's go to abc's karen travers at the white house. Karen i guess it's not all done. Because i want to know. How is this going to play out today. Like how quickly could this all go down. They still have to cross the finish line. The white house is not going to get pinpointed. On what specific day or hour. But they want to sign this before the end of the week and brad march fourteenth sunday. Always been this deadline. That's been circled on calendars here at the white house and up on capitol hill. It's an unofficial deadline. They didn't have to get it done by sunday but they wanted to. Because that's been some of the federal unemployment benefits were set to expire and officials said that they did not want to have any gaps in that coverage. They didn't want to have those. Millions of americans miss even one paycheck like that the additional money. They were getting Just because congress had not gotten it together. Who's i get it so the house will pass this today. Then it's a question of how quickly they can send down from one end of pennsylvania avenue to this end of pennsylvania avenue. The white house says that the president will sign it as soon as he gets it Look for a signing ceremony. The this is a big deal. Efd if you want to quote president biden from back in the obama administration this his top priority. It's his first legislative win and they're gonna do it up and in. This is going to be a very big moment for them. How much money will people get care. Because it's not just even stimulus checks at this point. Sure that's the big one though. That's what everybody's been focused on. And because when you hear that and you think what is coming directly to me. Fourteen hundred dollars for americans making up to seventy five thousand dollars a year if you get up to eighty thousand dollars for a single income filer. That number gets a little bit smaller. So then for couples you get two hundred and fifty thousand it maxes out the income cap at one hundred and sixty thousand. The white house says that yes while that was more targeted than previous rounds of covid. Relief that it's still ninety. Eight percent of the people who got it the last time so they feel okay with that and one more thing. This plant is historic taken altogether. This plan is going to make it possible to cut child poverty in half. Let me say it again. Significant is will cut child poverty in half. But then it's you know other things to it's child tax credits. It's subsidies for childcare. This is really a bill that gives a significant amount of aid to lower income americans off. Let's go. I need the help my kids need to eat. And white house officials will say. This is a very big difference from the bills that were signed during the trump administration which they said gave money but to the wrong people that it was too heavily focused on businesses and corporations and that higher wage earners were getting money and didn't need it. It would be really nice to get a little support so that i don't become homeless. Still wanna see this money go to lower income wage earners because they feel that those are the types of people that one needed but to will also use that money and spend it on something not save it for later or invested the actually get it back into the economy. I'm wondering. Karen is that last mile of getting into the person's pocket like what other challenges the biden administration will face here. We heard about like dead people getting checks out very living people getting their checks way too late that unavoidable or is that something. The biden administration has plans for. Yeah i mean we even seeing experiences on my little street here in washington of some neighbor getting the other neighbors check and not understanding how supposed to get to the other neighbor. I mean there were a lot of glitches in the system. The irs and bureau of the fiscal service are building on lessons. Learned from previous rounds. He administration says that they are working overtime to make sure that there are as few glitches as possible. The first batch of payments will go to taxpayers who provided direct deposit in their twenty nineteen or twenty twenty returns. They wanna make sure that more people are doing this through electronic payments because that'll get out faster than the checks whether or not. He walks his signature on their life former. President trump demanded. Well we're we're doing everything in our power to expedite the payments and not to lay them. Which is why the president's name will not appear on the memo line. Checks are expected to go out by the end of the month. But brad officials are not going to say a date certain but they do know that people want them. There are really eager for them so march tenth. Today the expectation is just about three weeks. They could get these out. Say you

Washington, DC Statehood Bill Introduced By Senate Democrats

"Now you know this has been on the wish list of democrats for quite some time along with a promoting of puerto rico to statehood as well. Now that's compensation for a different time. But you had senator tom carper. He's democrat out of delaware leading over three dozen of his democrat colleagues to introduce companion bill for washington dc statehood gesture on tuesday. Now remember a similar. Bill passed the house last year. Now will face well pretty much. A democrat controlled senate to determine if dc will become the fifty first state but is that even possible. Well i found this piece. I pulled this back in early january out of the washington post. And it's pretty indepth piece about dc statehood. Bottom line is these. Dc statehood still faces a number of high hurdles not only in the narrowly divided senate but yes in public opinion as well. Think about this. A two thousand nine thousand nine gallup poll found that nearly two-thirds of us opposed dc statehood. So why is in dc already a state. well we need to look at the constitution washington. Dc's founding is enshrined in the constitution which provides that the district not exceeding the constitution. Not exceeding ten miles. Square would become the seat of the government of the united states now for a brief period of time after the city's creation back in seventeen ninety residents -joyed voting rights and were allowed to cast ballots as residents of maryland or virginia but those rights ended shortly after congress moved into town and the new capital in eighteen hundred and pass the district of columbia organic act of eighteen. O one the act stripped dc residents of their rights to vote in all federal elections including for president and gave congress oversight of the city. Have you ever seen a dc washing a plate license plate. You know what it says you know with. The slogan is taxation without representation. Now the district was not afforded presidential electors until the passage of the twenty-third amendment. Back in one thousand. Nine hundred sixty one. Its residents didn't get a non voting delegates in the house until nineteen seventy so begs the question. How can congress change this well. Those opposed to making dc estate have argued that statehood for dc can't happen without a constitutional amendment. They say that the founders intended the entire district to serve as the seat of federal government not as state but legislation put forth by non voting delegate. Eleanor holmes norton every year since nineteen ninety-one would not eliminate the seat of government that the constitution calls for in stead her bill which shrink the national capital to a small complex of federal buildings while allowing the rest of the district to become a state proponents of statehood for their part argue that this plan preserves federal enclave. Whose only requirement is that. It can't exceed ten square miles and escapes the need for a constitutional amendment. Nothing simple as that outstanding questions remain over. What would happen to the three electoral college votes. Currently afforded to the district when it becomes a smaller that role enclave. And some have wondered whether the twenty-third amendment would have to be repealed. So that the few residents of the federal enclave namely we're talking about those residing at sixteen hundred pennsylvania avenue don't retain them so what needs to happen for dc to become state. Well the bill to make these estate obviously has enough supports in the house to pass again and jordi leader steny hoyer pledged to bring it to vote with backing from speaker. Nancy pelosi by your indeed even though the senate is pretty evenly split. Well let's just say it's a tough road to hoe in the senate democrats occupy half the seats in that chambers. Thanks to the victories of ossoff and wore knock In georgia both of whom support would no surprise there. And then you've got vice president. Kamala harris in this fifty fifty split in the senate able to cast the tie breaking boat and she liked biden supports

When the wall came down, we won the Cold War because people around the world look to the United States as an example of good governance. You can't say that today. What happened in Washington DC yesterday? A timeline of insurrection

"With runoff victories. In georgia meaning democrats are set to take back. The senate spent yesterday morning interviewing cliff. Albright an activist. Who helped turn out a record breaking number of georgia voters. It was a great conversation. Warm bright and then all hell broke. Loose sleep had a couple of reporters covering events in washington on the ground. One was embedded with the rioters who breached the capital and other was inside the chamber itself with the lawmakers. So we're going to tell the story of what happened from each of their perspectives. And we're going to start with ayman is my. I got there early. I got to the ellipse park. Just south of the white house. Amen was in dc to cover. What started out as protests. He is like you're hip photographer friend. He's undaunted casual and it makes it easier for him to sign up to all kinds of people and ask them questions. I would say that the mood was a people were happy. If felt like everyone had on their cool like trump swag and they were showing it off. You ever go to comic con. It really felt like comic People had sake trump faces cutouts. People had their favorite slogans all on their favorite t shirts. I would say ninety five percent of everyone who was there was like white maybe nine maybe ninety just to be generous here and my plan was to just talk to people get to know them. I wanted to know if i could get some closure on the trump era. This felt like this was the last opportunity to really talk to trump supporters at home where they're comfortable wearing their colors talking about their opinions. I was trying to do is. I was trying to have these conversations where i can be candid. They can be candid. It's not so hostile. The stakes don't seem so high. So i was able to do that with a bunch of different people which was satisfied. You know felt good one of them. One trump supporter looked me in the eyes and said jesus christ has come down and make it happen for years of trump is is still required. It's biblical i think. Yeah in what way do you think. I think that he is just in to be to have a second term as the confidence note. I'm talking about the confidence. It was crazy i like. I like to joke with my the people that i interview Just to kind of get them comfortable. And i talked to this one lady. I said she was kind of walking past me in the march as it. Hey do you mind if i get like click quote from you on. I don't want to hold you hostage though you're allowed to say no and she's like ha if you're holding me hostage gun and shoot you and i said you don't actually have a gun do you. And she said haha. I'm not going to tell you. And kinda liked walked off southlake own shit. Nobody actually got people probably brought their pistons of shouldn't so i kind of hung out over there for a long time of until trump's speech where he told his audience that he was going to no capitol building to protest the electoral college certification. You're going to walk down. Pennsylvania avenue i love pennsylvania and we're going to the capital and we're going to try at that moment. People didn't even wait for him to finish his speech. They immediately started marching leaving the lips park and going towards the capitol building so then we get to the steps of the capitol building. There's like this huge sculpture right on the front beautiful marble in his covered head to toe with trump supporters. Make climbed up the thing. They have their flags there screaming. Stop this deal. it's crazy. I've never seen people. Climb up on the memorials like anywhere in dc. We could do that to be honest. So i i go up the stairs i get to the door i'm trying to kind of maneuver my way in. There's like maybe four or five cops at the door for trying to keep maybe five thousand people out which is insane but then the trump supporters just ripped it out of their hand overpowered them and overwhelmed them. and we're able to force themselves inside and at this point unlike end the door in the doorway. I can see inside. I hear when cops say to the other. Look there's no way we can stop this. We just have to slow it down right and at this point it was like comfortable. You walk inside. There's no police presence you. You're surrounded by all of these famous paintings and sculptures that you've only ever seen textbooks like this is one of the most important buildings in the country but inside it just feels like a like trump playground. They were using it as their jungle. Gym they were flying around like having the most fun. It was very much a a celebration of trump on the inside of this building that it was a celebration of on the outside. The moon was definitely high. You know every once in a while people will start chanting stop the steel and the obligatory usa usa but for the most part people were taking pictures. People were happy to be on the inside. They were saying that this is their house. They were joking about how their tax dollars pay for things and every time anybody break something like the windows or doors or any of the various things that they destroyed on the inside they would make a joke about it and say hi our anyway we can do with it. Experts talk about the impact of Trump’s Georgia call on the Senate runoffs

"Thanks for joining us. The president is peddling baseless claims of election fraud. This time over a leaked phone call to a republican election official fueling a new political firestorm as georgia prepares for a pivotal runoff election. That may reshape. The nation's balance of power. Here's abc's steve olson. Saami it's the last push in the final hours before the us senate runoff election in georgia in the candidates in their parties. Biggest names are working overtime to convince enough voters to punch their ticket to washington our countries depending on you powers learn your head more than three million people. George already cast ballots in early voting. That took place in december. A million more than the total turnout for the last run off in two thousand eight. The choice is between republican incumbent. Senator kelly lovelier david purdue and democratic hopefuls. Jon saw and raphael warnock. The war for the majority of the senate comes down to georgia dish here and we need you all of us to stay in that breach. It looks like y'all ready for election five calls or texts today about voting. We'll keep the liberals away. It is time to vote like we have never voted before georgia. Each of them has been trying desperately to get their voters to show up at the polls second time never before has a runoff election in this state met so much it will determine who is in charge of the. Us senate sets the agenda. Who sets the policy with control of the senate on the line. People far away from georgia are all wound up in the states businesses from the white house. Twitter fight like hell. I'll tell you right to hollywood. Work isn't done. Everybody matters who wins. Get out and vote the outrage over a stunning phone. Call between the president and georgia's secretary of state. That's all the talk the night before the election. I just wanna find eleven thousand. Seven hundred eighty. You hear the president repeatedly asking brad rapids burger to give him more votes than biden's eleven thousand seven hundred and seventy nine vote lead in georgia and the hour. Long call lip brad. I gotta get. I have to find twelve thousand votes. And i have them times a lot to. What are we gonna do here. But i only need eleven thousand votes us. I need eleven thousand bucks. Give me a break. And and i'm not looking to blame anybody. I'm not just saying that you know under new cows and under new views of of the election results we won the election but rams burger who seek threats to his life over. All of this said no way. And there's nothing wrong with saying that you know that you've recalculated for mr president determines that you have is the data you have is wrong. You should want to have an accurate election. And you're a republican. We believe what we have an accident election. The georgia secretary of state continue to reject the president's wild claims of election fraud on good morning america. Did you consider it a lawful requests and the president asks you to find the votes lawyer. All i know is that we're going to follow the law. Follow the process truth matters. And we've been fighting these rumors for last two months. There are many who believe that it is no accident. That president trump is focused. Many of his claims a fraud on fulton county the largest in the state. It isn't just a blue county. It's also a largely black county and the president is being accused of trying to overturn the minority vote. Probably county is totally corrupt. They cheated like nobody's ever cheated before later. In the call. President trump even suggests that by refusing to hand the president. The november election robbins burger was hurting the chances of republicans running in the runoff. And because what you've done to the president a lot of people are going out to vote you would be respected if really respected if this could be straightened out before the election you have a big election coming up on tuesday. What's happening in georgia is a perfect storm. It is a telenovela in the making. It's gotta be confusing for republican georgia voters to hear that the elections in georgia and trustworthy at our fraudulent and have been manipulated and then wondered. Ask themselves well. Then why should i bother to tonight. President trump is still holding onto his false claims of fraud and still talking poorly about state. Officials were literally speaking truth to power. There's no way we lost your. This will be here a year and a half. And i'm going to be campaigning against your governor. And you're crazy secretary of state. We are a party of law. and order. georgia's lieutenant governor jeff dunkin who's both a republican and a trump supporter says. He wishes someone at the white house could have kept the president from making that phone. Call right before the election. What do you think about the possibility of folks looking into whether or not. The president broke a law with that phone call. I'm not a lawyer. So i'm going to let the lawyers go figure that out but i am qualified to tell you that that was an inappropriate phone. Call the longer that we try to use the excuse of voter fraud and misinformation to be the reason why we lost this presidential election. The longer it's gonna take for us to build our next platform. Duncan is part of a group of republicans. Who run this state. And we'll tell you to your face. That joe biden won the election here in that saying. So it's what's right. This is all about trust. I've got to look in the mirror. But more importantly i've got look at my three boys in the face. I spent all day trying to tell them to do the right thing. Always do the right thing. I can't imagine walking in that house one night and telling them yeah. I know i couldn't do the right thing. Today was on me. The forty five year old says. He's confident his two candidates can win despite the drama from pennsylvania avenue. I can't think of a single scenario where that phone call for. Sixty two plus minutes made any sort of difference in in getting david purdue and kelly leffler reelected but hopefully there's enough republicans at hang on tomorrow to show up and vote them in and represent our values. Historically democrats rarely win runoff elections in georgia. It's hard to get voters on the blue team to vote twice but former gubernatorial candidate stacey. Abrams says this is the year of the donkey. The national attention national investment as well as having a georgia infrastructure we were able to build a coalition in november. Is going to help come close to victory if not take it all the way. Abrams believes that her teams found the key to winning. We certainly were one of the most diverse battleground states but that diversity is only opportunity if we don't do the work to harness it. We were able to bring together. A latino population who's voting presence. Increased by seventy two percent over two thousand sixteen for asian american pacific islanders. It was a ninety one percent increase for african americans. It was a twenty percent increase.

Vice President Pence participates in the swearing-in of elected senators

"I'm not sure how many of you spend your sunday. I spent it watching the opening ceremonies if you will of the hundred and seventeenth congress. New senators being sworn in house members being sworn in speaker pelosi being reelected speaker all the trappings of the first day of congress. Mike pence was reciting over and over again. The oath of office that each united states senator takes and he was administering that oath at precisely the same time that tape of donald trump trying to put a coup in place a bloodless coup trying to convince a state elections official to lie and change results of the election that he is already certified as the world was learning of that phone call. I kept looking up and seeing mike pence. Repeat the words. I will support and defend the constitution of the united states against all enemies foreign domestic. That's from the oath of office. The oath by the way that mike pence has taken that donald trump has taken but that he was administering time and again yesterday to the new united states senators. And what is clearly the thing who is the person that is the domestic enemy of our constitutional democracy. He sitting in the oval office at the other end of pennsylvania avenue at that very moment and yet mike pence seemed to be totally unaware of the irony of the words. He was administering with what the country was learning.

"I was side for just a few minutes we'll get back to it obviously with your I. conjecture what happened out there just a cascading failures engineers would say but the state of the union has very very busy week in DC let's put our friend broadcasting senior correspondent for plus one is still at the White House sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue I would imagine Bob Constantini that Republicans especially some senators are very hoping or are hoping a great deal that Donald Trump decides not to talk about impeaching tied what have you heard regarding the text he will White House aides are saying that the president will say very little as little as possible about impeachment and now John obviously you know that doesn't mean he won't say something off the cuff that doesn't mean that some a little the sneaker whatever by a Democrat let's say who's in front of him might not set him off of what might the bait him in some way that's always a possibility but Republicans up on the hill have been urging the president to set up to put this impeachment matter aside as far as he possibly can with this address obviously we're right in the middle of things the room middle the end the best way to put it down well with the up senators by declaring basically now and going on the record about why they're voting the way they will and tomorrow's vote which will end in a quick hold is no question about it now John I know the telemarketer Xander retiring Republican senator and applying for the Republican senator from Oklahoma both spoke to the president said let's lay off impeachment tonight but again that's no guarantee that the press is going to do that hi impossible to say really you know because it it is eating away at him and every event that he has along the way the you know from signing the U. S. M. C. a B. your last week whenever was he brought it up to bring that up and just off the cuff pro tools comments like you know I've got all the success and when they do they impeach or things like that years and years ago Ronald Reagan invited a hero from a plane crash in DC to this state of the and we will remove refresh our bodies memory about money stuff back just two weeks ago in the midst of a terrible tragedy on the but I don't think we saw again the spirit of American heroism at its finest dedicated rescue workers saving crash victims.

"All around world, and we need some reason in the conversations have screaming and chaos all the time. So whether you're right of right or left of left. I invite anyone to join any has an opinion and a lot of you have opinions, and you send them to Kate Delaney. Kate, Delaney radio dot com. So let's go to the mail bag. You have male mistress. Thank you very much. So this first one is from Al Al says, Kate, I don't understand it actually voted for Donald Trump. And I like some of what he's done some of of what he's not. I don't like I think he brags too much. I'm sick of the the tour that he's on. But of course, he's going for reelection. So maybe can't completely blame him for that. But I say why not release your tax returns? Who cares? I mean, people know that he's lost tons of money. He's made tons of money. What's the difference? And he said he was going to release them when he was going through his campaign, but that there was some sort of an audit. So now, he's breaking a promise. And he's been pretty good about honoring some of those promises. And I applaud him for that. So everyone else's done it. And this is what we do in this country. Why not? Hippo the tax returns Houdini borrow from who's he done business with that kind of stuff. And maybe that's what he doesn't want people to know. I'm sure there's some reason for that. But I think it wouldn't really bite him. I think there's the thought that it it would maybe among some of his lawyers. But I can't believe it. We again, we know he's lost a lot of money. We know he's made a lot of money. So what anybody who's an entrepreneur is striving to make money, and they know along the way they lose money. Maybe there's something more there. It makes people that even voted for him wonder just release the bloody things thing's going to happen. He doesn't want to release them. So becomes the conversation becomes a conversation with the conversation. But no, it's I don't see it happening unless there's a force there. But there there hasn't been. So what makes you think that's going to happen or change? We can talk about. It it. And we saw what happened on the hill. But it goes back to the same thing you still have to get them. I mean, you still have to hold someone's feet to the fire. When you're you have executive privilege was all kinds of things that float around at pencil on Pennsylvania Avenue in the three branches of government, and you're the leader of the free world. So yeah. Attorney to different direction. But as the leader of the free world, you can evade that you can. You can talk about it and say at this is all they're going on you can pound it and to the ground, and and ignore it, I suppose, and that's what's happening is. I don't see it coming out. No matter what happens on the hill. I just can't think that this is gonna happen to other one. This one is from Jenny Evans from Jenny in a long time high Kate sorry. I've been listening to the show, but of super super busy haven't had a chance to shoot you an Email. But definitely have been thinking about you on the lighter side. Yeah. I know how you have that love of animals like I do. Did you see the story about the? Lien's as some of the conditions that they were in in what they called the world's worst zoo, it some safari park in Albanian. And it was so sad to see the pictures of the lions who were in these horrible, rusted out cages and looks those sick and had to be looked like they were traumatized just thrown inside there. And so finally, they've been rescued. I know this seems insignificant impaired everything else that's happening in the world, especially with the savage feedings going on in the United States. But I do want to say, I think it's cool that you had lions rescued and others that have been rescued because opposed -ly some of the lion cubs. That were born were sold giving away to friends might have done to seems absolutely insane. If you saw that movie I bought a zoo, even though that. Was a tongue-in-cheek movie. They do portray what it's like to own is due and the kind of regulations. So shame on the people for letting this hellish scenario unfolded, this safari part in Albanian. Yeah..

Tongue-in-cheek movie, they do portray what it's like to own zoo and the kind of regulations so shame on the people for letting this hellish scenario unfold at this safari park in Albania. Yeah. The lions they were did see the pictures because they were all over the place. And it was rather gruesome I have to say there you go. This one this one is from Mary, Jane. I've never emailed the show MS Laney, but I listen to the show, and I have to say it really got to me when I saw what was happening in Colorado. I heard you mentioned on your show, and at the time, you didn't think anyone had died, but someone dies then he turns out to be hero. And it's awful for that family. I mean here your close to graduating, and he was on the precipice this Custodio kid of different life. And instead he doesn't get to go to college. He doesn't get to have children. He doesn't get to do. Some of the amazing things that happen in our lives because a fellow classmate for whatever reason decides it's time to end some lives. It'll never make any sense to me because that that kid or those two kids have also ruined their parents lives and their own lives as they will go to jail, and you can't repair that we. Can't repair that that's true another one on the heavy side. And and this is from Jan awful awful awful for those parents in Colorado. How ironic that that school wasn't too far from Columbine where they had their own hellish nightmare in ninety nine Kate. When will something be done. How many kids have to die in these random school shootings were pick a school any schooling? Just don't know what's going to happen. I hope that there are more guards. And I hope that there's more regulations that will be wrapped around some of these schools to keep the kids as safe, I guess as they can they certainly can't guarantee one hundred percent, but stepping it up helps and then you can only expect first responders to get there as soon as they can. And apparently these first responders got there pretty quickly -absolutely those sheriff's deputies were there within two minutes. Thank goodness. That's that's that had to happen this because automatically one of them got one of the shooters, and they didn't return gunfire. Have anything like that happen? So that was good and. You had lots of injuries, but it could have been so much worse. But still sad the one one kid who dies just awful. But he did something to help his his classmates, and he did because probably more would have been killed or certainly have been shot. And who knows if they survive or not this one is from Colin and Collins has Kate. I listen to you in New Orleans. I think about you talking about spent some time in the big, easy, and how much you liked it. We appreciate that come back anytime. I happened to see that the house panel recommended that the attorney general be held in contempt of congress. So what the heck is going to happen there? Do you think? Well, it was a vote by the House Judiciary committee and against bar. He didn't turn over the unredacted Muller report. So. I don't know. Do they as Ellen Ratner who joins us in the first hour said, well, they had this little sort of. Prison little jail at the there on the hill. Could could he go? There was a twenty four to sixteen vote and they had tons of debate on this. And then Jerry Nadler from New York who was judiciary committee chair wasn't answering questions about impeachment. He said, we're gonna constitutional crisis. But the contempt vote certainly ups the ante in the battle over evidence and witnesses and all that and we're not done with the mullet report this tug of war is not done. Inevitably said, and maybe it's going to end up in the courts. And that's what I think I think that's what's going to happen. You think the Justice department the White House in House Republicans are going to contest it with force? And they're saying that the Democrats were the ones abusing their powers to manufacture a crisis. And that's what it's about. So. It's not.
