"The owners for Sports Ball Right? They all made their money doing something else. Yeah they all made you know. So it's like and here's the thing and and again maybe out liar not saying I know everything with this just my thing. There's only so long. Any company can go by just solely surviving off of investors. Eventually they start hiring fat Tony to come by are looking for their half right. You know what I mean looking for and then once you're not showing profit Daytona other investment eight. Listen nothing really going on which is Kinda Slow Down Eight. Listen this was actually really cool. What'S ON ESPN? But Not really making any money you know. So that's why we think SORTA Kinda slow down right now. You know the crafts you know they have. Oh Gosh I the fact that I can't remember their name And something Oh God. The paper company that they own. Oh Jeez I can't remember the name of items. I should know that they don't but they made their money off of paper. John Henry made his money off of what soybeans? So it's like you know and then and then you have. The owner of the Washington. Capitals US went the owner of comcast or something like that. Anyway it's like they all made their billions and millions millions. We're talking aliens whether it be with a B. Okay Oh like Oh you received a ten million dollar investment from you know such and such for your sports team that's laughable because like ten million dollars just off of soybeans last month you know what I mean so so so. It's like you know. They have that flexibility to handle stadiums to handle payroll so we handle all these people that these sports solely that all people are behind the scenes that they sorely need but they can't afford them because they don't have that much money and they can't get that much money not making that much money so at some point probably going to go back to the to the old days right. I mean it's probably going to crash but it's probably going to crash right but that but that doesn't mean he sports is dead. I just think it's going to readjust itself back to what it was before which was basically the traveling salesman the how can I say this like the PGA tour or the The the the the wrestling league stuff like that right. Hey One minute were here. You know we're in Boston this weekend it this week and we're GONNA BE IN MINNESOTA. We're GONNA be traveling to Syria. I feel very much like Standup comedians they. They grind on the road hard like that before they get real big so I think that's that's a decent. That's a good parallel to yeah and again. I'm not trying to be pessimistic or a stick in the mud about the whole thing but I honestly think that just reality that no one has really accepted yet is sports got too big too quickly and now everyone scrambling trying to figure out. What's going on right now because you know we were told by you know. Abc indeed that this is going to be. What's that stupid number? They make it up every hundred million. Two hundred trillion. I this year by that date. You know the the Mayans for the end of the world by the year twenty twenty. You know it's it's like you know it's like people had their and I think it was slasher put up a really good Really really good thing about balance. It's that like like you said like the most disappointing about Valerie does that people are symphonic. Because I think that's next thing that's going to make money. Not because they actually like the game. Yeah people already wanting to go pro you know in the Beta like these kids are already like I wanted to. Key was to like showcase their skills and yeah but it's like just love the game. I and the other stuff come behind like every other sport. It's just like the the ones and there are. Some exceptions are so nationally. Gifted the don't even have to like it. I think we can all name like one athlete from each sport. But it's like you actually absolutely have to like love the game and commit the game and to be able to go through the ups and downs of the the game you know to be able to withstand this. So it's like you know as overwatch having having a tough year probably but there are a lot of athletes that have had bad years. Statistically go don't let the ones that are retiring probably don't like the game anymore and maybe weren't going to grind it out. You know to begin with or are they just became so disenchanted from you know. Listen maybe it's maybe it's the travel. Maybe it's the fame just all these things where they just didn't really like it. It's like if I just want to do something else. You know the whole break in May and in crowd control probably in the two probably just kind of put it over the top that broke the camel's back by. I think it just came to like I was getting paid to play this game but like you know. I think it's too here in North America. I think that there is a huge emphasis on streaming on earth brands where people are more worried about streaming than they are worried about actually being a successful player because his statistics showing that you probably could make more being a streamer being professional player you know but no shredded. I talked about that. He's like I prefer streaming over competitive play. It's just it's it's easier to be a streamer than competitive players. What he says. It's much much easier you know. We're like win lose. Who cares if you're putting on a good show you basically Which is why like competitive fortnight as such like such a phenomenon where it's just that like you know what was it like. Ninja like barely even qualified. For some of these tournaments. He stuff like that. Never really have like a bunch of bunch of big named streamers. All his kids behind the scenes were grinding competitively and whatnot on the tweets to actually be good at the game and exploit you know so so whereas in other countries it's like maybe the Solo Q. Environment is is different but like you know like in the Korean environment if ever watched like a like these high level like players play Solo Q. And stuff like that. I watch some vodka faker and stuff like that you. Nobody's typing in chat. Now you're listening one everyone's Ping Ping Ping Ping Ping Ping by go here. Go here. We're going there we're going there. Here's my cool down this what they use boom done like like. That's everyone says like the environment here is different where it's just like people are having a bad day. So they're gonna like you know hard. Walk the TORP able now but these is pretty cool. But it's like you know they're hard lock is because they whole like facility day. They want to make their other teammates. Have bad day. Everyone life as miserable. So maybe there's just not enough tried like the actual competitive play. Maybe it's like it's all about the streaming and their personal brand and stuff like that. Because here's the thing like like like double streams too but he seems like an off days or when he's not competing rafters competing. I subscribe to Penghu from our six and you know and the reason why I like watching him and I like watching shroud and even double his is because like I feel I can just have them on like in the background. I feel like I'm I'm just like chilling. What someone watching them play Games in? Penghu has like you know very very smart when it comes to business but he does. He started doing like these drawing things. He's talking about maps and entries like he'll break out the the What the Microsoft paint only draw Abbas awesome? It's like you know painting with Penghu with so funny and it seems like that like extra tickets. He seems to be like someone who's like a huge for a lot of platform games. Or He li- he loves tomb. Raiders and the assassin's creed and stuff like that so I think he's got like it's voices to just chill just gives me a nice chill mood with listen to him in the background and if a feeling feeling a little spunky that day I'll put on OCTA disrespect who's also he. He gets people around. He's yeah very personality driven thing because like I can't stand watching. I hate his personality. I can't stand how he approaches like situation. So it's like I. You know as much as I might like to game that he's playing. I just can't stand watching it like listening to and watching him. So yeah it's you got to find the right personality especially you on depending what day your you're feeling too so where it is and it's funny because I think video games work that way to where it's just the game. They can relate to the young people. Watch the streamers that they can relate to the most and and and I like just a chilled laid back. You know streamers that are just kind of playing and chilling and just like you know reading chat every once in a while answering thumbed. Something's in it's fun and I think and I think that we we just don't have it yet but the one thing that I wish that they would do. And who knows? Maybe I'll be press that they need like an east for its abundant. If you know what I mean you know it's to be that person who really is a in a non mimi way to kind of point out some things that need to be correct and I think slasher of does that in certain ways which I like reading reading slasher Is Pretty good too? I don't know if you he's gotTa Youtube Channel. He was a he's an owner wasn't owner of an organization to I don't know is his background a lot but he. He's mentioned a lot in some of his videos. He's mentioned a lot of stuff you talked about as well so you guys are definitely on a very similar page. As far as you know sports and kind of smell looks and trajectories and stuff like that and the thing is is that I think i. I don't want people to equate like there's just not that much money being. There's not as much money out there as people thought they were going to be because the market very inflated market if it just all if you tell me that it's going to be like a ten billion dollar market and like you know nine hundred ninety nine ninety nine nine million. Whatever is all ten cent you know. You know what I mean. It's like a like a number of very very very very inflated off so it's like because his thing and the only reason why I say that is because like I seen it and have noticed it kind of from afar and stuff like that because I think a lot of people you know I think when it comes down to is that you know whether it's college programs or even e. sports or I think they really need to do with start to kind of like you know they always like what like. How can we make more money and they always? Yeah they did the same thing we need more. You know twitter stuff and you know. We need more You know social media. We need any more content. We need content content. Oh you need a team. That's good for got to play more than five games. That season right. Yeah Yeah like the reason why Doda is so is so big is because people put millions and donate and contribute millions of dollars to the final when it's og versus liquid right or Oji versus secret or whatever or whoever decides to be it's og right. The one that decides to you know to to win that week or wherever the second place match to. Oj right but it's just that that's where the money is made. The money is made at the end of the season right at. Is You know until you have like you know universal profit-sharing like.

"Then someone would get a high score. Then the next person would go and it. It looks like that they were a total failure. They just had author arm sloppy and they got a higher score. Yeah so I do day. Don't know how they could not stop watching it so Norwegian death diving look it up. It's very entertaining to watch in the commentaries. Also thirteen year. Old Boy. The thing I don't know why like his his died impressive. There were some belly flops. Like some people actually did not turn themselves back around the one woman she approached the board slipped and up like flailing but still ended up in the water in her hands and feet and scored really well which was very confused like despite the fact that she slipped. I'm really impressed with how she recovered like. She recovered I couldn't tell I'm telling you people look it up. It was. It was incredibly entertaining Norwegian depth diving or it was called dodds or maybe it's dudes because they had that slashed or the. Oh Yeah Garrard's jurors so anyway back to Disney. What's his knee that's got their. Espn yes yes. Yes that was a good transition job. Nice job to me. I know that's your limit. No I got one more one more three three so I saw an article from southwest CEO. Gary Kelly and Hastier. Line not just southwest. I know I was. I was unclear. I was not sure for a second. I saw an article from southwest CEO. What is unclear about that okay? He said that they travel will start to reopen when places like Disneyworld or universal reopen and. He just saying you know the whole airport is going to have to be overhauled for new procedures which is going to make the waits even longer but security in the airport and think about that. Yeah right and all the all the sanitation that has to happen in between flights jazz. Kelly's favorite airport on the entire planet. And he was saying how people don't have someplace to go vacation right. Now you know places like Disneyworld were words. A huge tourist pool they pull hirst tourist tourist hers Poulter Pool Full. They're not they can't go the right now. So there's no one flying so the minute those kind of places open for business is when travels going to start to reopen his? What he said going over to our disneyworld are actual disneyworld location. The president the resort President Josh. Tomorrow he took a walk through. Hollywood studios and answered some questions from fans and then also let us just kind of have a video of the park quiet on a nice sunny day with birds chirping and then he had one of the engineers turn on the Hollywood studios music. Track all so you could see the park empty with the music plane. You can find that on their instagram page. It's really it's really nice to see. It's very sad sure but it's nice to just kind of be there even though there's no one there right now the Mickey's railway open. It did for like a like a like a second. Yeah Okay for two weeks. Basically so it's GonNa basically have a reopening when they finally go back. Let's buy some merchandise since we have nothing else to do. I actually want to have people like post. Their what they bought during quarantine lists but when this is all done like what was yours me desperate. No one was your desperation buys. What was your desperation by? I have to say my. Usb heated gloves the keyboard very very useless Disney but yes data. When I'm typing my hands get cold play piano. My hands get cold so now. They're toasty when I go. Boy This is my best buy yet but I'm not done. I don't think I purchased anything except for all I know the seventy five inch television. No we do not buy that. We're not buying that surprise. You're limited to three surprises in this. Oh so yeah. If nothing else to do what do you do you go online? You buy stuff. So Disney has released sets of four sanitary masks for you. Purchase on Shop Disney for nineteen ninety. Nine which is roughly five dollars. Each and they have different team sets including Star Wars Disney princesses. They had different character faces toy story and Marvel and Mickey and Minnie. So you purchased said masks. I purchased a set of Star Wars. And what else did you purchase on this quarantine? Just the masks. Just the matter shop Disney. What else did you purchase shop Disney from Disney? Listen know to be fair that that order that knocked Tober. Oh why are you? Are you hate me? It's not a a thousand TV. It might as well be told you did tell them what you did or preorder. Baby Iota. In October. We have a two foot. It's replica foot. A Baby Yoda Foot. That spatial awareness. I ordered it back in October. When it was had to be preordered and in late April I can't get a TV baby. Yoda was twenty dollars. Thousand we're not getting the TV. There's also been some fans that have made other masks t public which are little bit more like catering to the Disney Park. Goer all different sorts. There was one of with figment. There was one mention starbucks at Disney. And then also. I saw that on Monday evening for. May Fourth for the force be with you shop. Disney is going to be releasing special mugs. That the kinds that you would see in the starbucks in the parks the specifically the been their mug series so usually you can buy the ones that are like the magic kingdom Mug or the APP bug. They're going to have star wars team won. So that's going to be like best been dagger Baugh and Hof and stuff like that so those are going to be out tomorrow actually when we were released as episode. It'll be out on. May Four th at seven PM. And I would assume that these are going to sell out pretty quick so if you want to get one get online order from Shop Disney on May fourth also on Disney plus may fourth isn't skywalker out yet. All the star wars movies can now be streamed and I also think they saw him looking up and I'm not finding it that I thought there was supposed to be Amanda Laurean special. The making of the main delorean. I heard that too and I'm not I'm not seeing you know. Maybe maybe not yet. Maybe they're saving it for when we're at our most desperate and we everybody has to turn and get a Disney plus account shifting over to Disney Springs. Hey we still don't have a Disney Springs. One you're Jim. Let's just use this one for now foolish mortals that? Come on Jim. This is actually pretty cool before I think the last time we were there. This restaurant wasn't open yet but Jose Andres who is responsible for Giulio in Disney Springs. He has been raising money for relief efforts in for healthcare heroes so since the beginning of April the team at Giulio has donated over five thousand meals to healthcare workers first responders underserved families in Orlando and then over the course of the coming week the restaurant at Disney Springs. It's going to be preparing over. Four thousand more free meals for healthcare workers in central. That's wonderful yeah that's wonderful. What did you have? You had the phone. Founded did find Disney plus drops trailer for the mandatory and behind the scenes documentary turns out Verna Hudson directed baby. Yoda a trailer for the upcoming Disney. Gallery the mandatory and give us into what expect from this documentary about making the Live Action Star Wars show which kicks off on Disney plus on Star Wars Day may fourth all right there. You go and you go. I'm hungry. Let's eat something so if you're stuck at home which who isn't the thing. I keep seeing online our make make your own. Disney food at home so we. I found four recipes that you might WanNa try this of we not done Dole whip. They actually did release their DOA recipe early on. But I'm too. I'm too afraid to try it because I feel like that's gotta stay secret. It should stay in the. That's my belief I'm a pure never make it as good as they do but no. I've tried other ones are not very good. But if you are a fan of Disneyland's Chiro Funnel cake recipe. You can find the recipe over at chip and company if you liked to go to the Polynesian to their taboo lounge and sample. The Lop Lop who drink. That is now available online to make an Patrick. I just had a question. What's in the La La Boo drink? This is at the Polynesian. You say Asian at the Taylor Abu Labudhie if you're a fan of pounds and this should be very obvious but I want Patrick Dancer. I am not and I'm not familiar with the drink but I guess set it straight rum just from how much all of it the rum. Just right and a splash of ice. Well you're twenty percent correct. Yeah this is. The very famous pineapple drink at taboo so special pineapple in an entire pineapple. You'll get an entire and along with the rump. It's also mixed with well actually. You're forty percent right because it's a Bacardi. One fifty one Myers darkroom two parts. Orange juice two parts sweet and sour and the Pineapple. Close the main conceit of it. So that's the lap who they also. There's also want an animal kingdom. The has a double name. Pong where we get. The MARGARITAS layer marinas boba beads Tampopo Penghu. Penghu Dancing yes. That's why it's not a video. It's good that staying as a podcast so we had those recipes. We also I also found this awesome part of Pixar's youtube. They had like a new series. That's called cooking with Pixar. So they have three videos right now. They have Ian and barley from onward. Make Birthday cake for you. They also have bow cooking with Pixar short the other and in the end each the Charlie. I was trying to get from spoilers but thanks a lot and then we also have you can make the Pizza Planet Pizza. With Forty Nice. Yes so that was pretty cool. So thank you Captain Jim. Again for this sound clip tumour. Miss Kevin Gino poor cap and Jim has been furloughed from work for now for now for now because Disney has closed but Disney is.

"Come back to the GMC weird news podcast now before the break we were talking about weird and more excuse me apparently was about to die weird animal facts now. We talked about cats right at the end. Now let's bring it back around kind of cats so apparently cats an horses are highly susceptible to black widow venom whereas dogs are relatively resistant and sheep. Sheep and rabbits are completely immune. That's crazy. I remember somebody had told me that. Dogs were actually highly susceptible the ball to venom to black widow venom but apparently that is false and cats are more susceptible to black widow venom than dogs are. Dogs are relatively resistant. Obviously not one hundred percent resistance will always be careful With black widows around your house animals because you don't know what they can can withstand but apparently if you have rabbits or sheep they are immune and that's crazy. I actually didn't think about any animal that would be purely immune to their venom. But I guess rabbits and cats are or excuse me rabbits and sheep bar and cats are not in either or horses. uh-huh interesting now. Let's talk about squirrels. This is just a little fact and I found it kind of filariases and just just a little strange so apparently squirrels can't burp or vomit. I guess that makes sense. 'cause they just shove things in their mouth else and then they just can't vomit. I don't know I just thought that was kind of weird. Let's move to our goals. Now I found a lot of weird facts acts about als but I found this one to be the strangest now apparently. All's don't have eyeballs. They have I to who the kind of like along gated and they're held in place by excuse me I'm going to butcher this word but scholar Sclerotic Sclerotic rings or just bony structures in the skull. So we'll just say bony structures pictures in the skull and because of this hour also can't really move or roll their eyeballs. which kind kind of makes sense why? They're neck has so much mobility so their neck has so much mobility to be able to move their eyeballs without out moving their eyeballs because they don't have eyeballs they have it tubes. How weird is that? I mean come on a weird weird weird okay. I need to stop saying weird but like tube eyeballs which is is really interesting mind you but also very strange range now. Let's move on to something that is old. Let's talk about extinct Colossus Penguins now. Apparently extinct colossus penguins stood as tall as Lebron James so I was like okay. They stood his toes. Lebron James we'll how tall is Lebron. James He is six foot nine inches so these penguins stood. You'd six feet nine inches. How crazy could you imagine? Seeing Penguin that huge I've seen penguins in in. You know zoos. That's the word. I'm looking for zoos. I've seen them in zoos. And actually we recently. We got a penguin exhibit that they've been working on for a few years at our local zoo which is really cool. I haven't gone to see them yet right but I've seen them in other zoos like larger zoos but they're not told they're not that big. I mean they're bigger than you kind of think they are. But they're not that large George and could you imagine if causes penguins were not extinct. They would be huge. I am five foot tall tall. I'm a very short lady and me standing next to a six foot. Nine inch penguin would be ridiculous now. Let's move along to another another group naming now feel they could make an entire podcast about the group names of animals. And I'M GONNA make a bad joke. I'm letting you know now I'm GonNa make another bad joke about this. So let's talk about a group of parrots now. A group of parents is known as a pandemonium. The End Modiim could you could you. Could you bet you walk into a group of Penghu. Excuse me parrots and you're like who this is a pandemonium Rhodium okay. That was my bad joke. I'm so sorry or moving. I can't help but make a bad joke about groups oops of animals because it's so funny at least to me. It's so funny to you guys. You're probably like Oh man. She needs to stop. This is so bad but I think it's hilarious and I really hope there are people out there who think this is hilarious. A let's talk about reindeer now. I love reindeer. I think they are adorable creatures and pretty much all the ornaments for my Christmas tree. I realized that this year While I was putting up a Christmas decorations I guess it was just last Christmas. We'll just say last Christmas but I realized what it was putting up Christmas decorations on my tree that every single one of my ornaments were ranked here except for like maybe two but anyway. Let's get into rain this reindeer perfect so reindeers eyeballs turn blue in the winter and this is to help them see in lower light. Now I think this is so cool. I've seen a lot of photographs of reindeer in the winter and they have some really beautiful blue eyes all put a picture on the at GMC underscore weird news twitter and the GMC Weird News. Facebook page you guys can see what I'm talking about but I honestly just thought that their eyeballs all year round were blue because the the majority of the photos you see of reindeer are in the wintertime And I just thought that's what they were but I guess they're not always blue but they're blue who in winter to help them see lower light so this is really cool. This is a fact that I found extremely interesting now. Let's move on onto an animal that I've actually seen pretty often which are buffalo. Now I have not seen African buffalo often. I've seen buffalo often because there's there's an area by where I reside that has a bunch of buffalo that Rome in this giant area. And it's it's really fun to to see but let's talk about. African buffalo now. Apparently hurts African. Buffalo herds display voting behavior in which the the individuals register their travel preferences by standing up looking in one direction I guess the direction they would like to go and then laying laying down. I thought this was really cool. But also apparently only the female African buffaloes can vote wrote A. Let me rephrase that only the adult female African Buffalo can vote. We should've taken him mm-hmm the advice of the African African buffalo herds along time ago but anyway other than that. I thought this was so cool. I really didn't know I don't. I don't know much about Buffalo. I see them often but I don't know much about them. So this fact was really kind of mind blowing to me. Because I had no idea that they displayed voting behavior at all. This is one of the coolest things. I don't think that any animal really kind of displays any sort of voting behavior. I don't know this is one of the coolest Louis Packs that I found it very weird and definitely not something. I knew now I really want a lot of these facts to for. Are you take from this. podcast these facts and take them to your friends or if you're trying to start a conversation these are really good conversation. Starters orders all around all of these are really good conversation starters..

"We often have. How far should you be willing to go in selling out the writing for they came when it comes to slim because we all know when it comes to slam you have to appease the crowd to some extent you have to have those punch lines so to what extent can you go It's a that's a hard question to answer because you cannot quantify the extent of Gimmickry we put like one thing here and we go okay no gimmickry versus who. Now I'd have to put an example here of WHO's the most chemically person we know and then it would be a scale of ten and then I can go. Okay this is. You can only up to this person who is at number six. Okay so you think they are okay but you do think I do. I think there is a certain point where the I put the content forward I think the content the content holds more priority than anything else. What you say is more is a lot more important right So I'm giving example. I know took people who are not happy with a performance. I had back in two thousand fourteen. I think when I did the the Lily Blue Poem that was in twenty. But I'm not mad. People who own people don't like that. Okay why do you in address? Why did you even right point like that? That's fine. That's their opinion right but in my thinking that was to drive was that points returned from a very specific perspective? When that's to drive a point home so in my performance of it I needed to engage physical. I felt like I needed to engage physically with that and go beyond the scope of the requirements for that performance. Right so if it worked then the audience will tell me the audiences action will tell me whether I told the line well enough. The General Reaction People's action on social media. You know immediately after you perform will always Let you know you in the right direction or I don't do that. The people who've went but the point was and you kind of go if you hadn't done this in a particularly I think when it comes to mixing songs or at a live person singing. Excuse me with with a poem. A lot of people come find the the balance. 'cause sometimes who hairband food. I saw them doing this. And this and so there's no gel it just doesn't yeah. So now the whole thing then becomes gimmicky in their way home with thing. Nothing but if the poem is good I can forgive you. "Radio, only smarter. This is advocates progressive talk. AM thirteen fifty. The strange thing about Bigfoot which is at, at base a gigantic humanlike primate. The strange thing about it is that reports of creatures like these date back into the ancient empires and ages of myth and legend, sometimes you'll see reports of a quote unquote, wild man. That trooper the wild man of Borneo, for example. Sure. Yeah. Or something called the, the Harry man folklore experts like Joseph Campbell's, see this wild man in the woods legend as a as coming from a couple of different places. One of the most interesting, if not the most plausible ideas is that it's some sort of orally transmitted memory of an encounter, with the largest known primate the extinct gigantic pick. Which was ten feet tall and may emphasis on me here may have enacted with early homo sapiens, like in the jungle book. Yeah. Like in the jungle book spoiler alert for the newest jungle. I'm kidding. But the one depicted in that live action Lassie GI jungle book is like a giant Aranka tan looking creature. But it is that extinct gigantic that would have been native to that part of the country, yet, and Asia India, and fun fact with the gigantic is at least in the jungle book this is not too much. Spoiler for the show in the live action jungle book the gigantic against king Louis is played by Christopher Walken, who is going is full walking on that. He is his nuts. He has taken a walk again, some reason, it's from Brooklyn any he sings king Louis song. But in a really weird spoken words, scattered Christopher walk ins, one of those ledges beloved actors that can only do Christopher Walken breaks. Yeah. Maybe you might disagree, but I kind of feel it works, and it's great, but he's sort of like a Jeff Goldblum. Well, here's a here's a or now Pacino. Right. Here's a hot take a wanna see what you think of this. This is entire I guess, this is sort of related because Peter Mayhew's an actor anyway. Just humor me go. Tell me what you think about this. So one of the great differences between the lauded actors in the states, and the lauded actors in Europe is that in the case of European actors the Allister's top notch actors are praised their abilities to be chameleons largely praised for their ability to become a nother person to slip into a role whereas in the states, a lot of top notch alias, actors are praised for their ability to constantly be unapologetically themselves. And it's, it's weird because it doesn't not at all saying that one is better than the other nor am I saying that these people are amazing accurate. It's just a very strange interpretation over here. We. Call those character actors, they almost get like a like a demotion kind of, you know, that kind of leading man you're a character actor, you're always the cop. Yeah. You're always the angry dad, who's almost had it. You know. I guess, when I say character I mean, I'm, I'm saying is they are more chameleon, but the leading men are less so. Right. Like Alpa chino in devil's advocate and Alba chino incentive woman. A lot of people would tell you. I loved devil's advocate. A lot of people tell you that they're always the same there, roughly the same mannerisms or something, you know, even believe incentive woman, Pacino plays a blind character. But, you know, Alpa chino, not tall enough to play Bigfoot my friend, not tall. Yeah. Pulled it back. Circle back not tall enough to play Bigfoot gigantic pick as though in a larger sense, no pun intended. But I guess I'll allow it was close enough to be like our guy for this trying to find a suspect for historical Bigfoot because gigantic Pinkus Blackie was thought to be closely related to early hominids especially Australopithecus and this was based on molar evidence. So the, the thing molar like teeth. The thing about trying to figure out, whether gigantic Pinkus, was the origin of the sasquatch, or Harry man myths, is that when you look at it as, as we stabbed earlier, depictions of this thing, it doesn't look like a sasquatch the way they are described from the nineteenth century on. It looks like a giant Ranga Tang, and it's got the big face flaps that are I'm gonna say a big enough differentiator like its head is bigger than a sasquatch is head would be. Yeah. It's neck looks like like testicles or something galley, Waddell, almost. Yeah. It was also from not super fast. I can't imagine. And unlike the depiction in the jungle book, it probably didn't smash things and swing on trees, nor did, it have strong, New York accent. Yeah. No, it's true. But here's the thing, you know, one beef that Bigfoot skeptics have is like, where's the evidence? Give me some bones. Give me a body show me, the body ratio fecal matter testing site. Yeah. But with gigantic Pathak is, you know, there is evidence you could even find some of these, they're plentiful enough that you could find job, owns and teeth in, like Curio, or apothecary shops in place. Like, Vietnam, India where these creatures were indigenous. So for traditional medicine, then one would imagine, right? That would be the use. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. And the thing is, you know, these things would have been ten feet tall. More than twelve hundred pounds. So totally in line with the type of stature, we're talking about for these wild man. These Harry men these, these sasquatch is and the thing is not just limited to North America or northern California. They're all over the world. Sure. Sure there in Siberia there called the shooter Naw there, the Australians would call it the Yali, which I think, is a fun name -solutely. You may hear it called the year in, in China. We mentioned the yeti earlier, there are different yetis snow one. Yeah. Bombing snow. There are different. They're different cases of alleged physical artifacts being discovered or being held such as the Penghu hand. There was an alleged yeti scalp that was supposed to be around, but I think was later disproven. Through testing. And this is a this is a really controversial thing because for some biologists the search for cryptic words, which is umbrella term describing any animal that has been alleged to exist, but has been proven to exist or has been officially considered extinct. And then people think it may be rediscovered. Crypto zoologists are considered. Largely persona non grata in energy. Yes, science, and the academic world because other scientists will say that these folks have already decided something, exist, and they're not practicing critical thinking scientific method. They're just trying to prove that what they came in believing was correct. Confirmation bias, right? -actly and like our Powell who made the film, I, I would find that evidence, quote unquote, much more believable, if it if it wasn't somebody who already was looking to find something, and then this until his death, he maintained that. He understood why people think it was weird, but he was not hoax in anyone in the he will. He wouldn't deny that what he saw was legitimate. But then that also raises the possibility that perhaps he was host, which is trolling sasquatch ING him. Yeah. Oh, maybe we could use those new verb to get sasquatch squashed squashed is good. Squash out. Yeah. All right. Let's incorporated into the ridiculous history, lexicon. Yeah. Let's put it into our burgeoning encyclopedia fish. We have ship show, and now we have you just got squashed. Yeah, yeah. A few other ones but recommend your favorites lane to us. We do want to point out again. We know how dick Yetlis this, this fear may of seemed for Peter Mayhew and for the filmmakers. But even as recently as twenty fourteen twenty percent of the US population one out of five people believe in Bigfoot, or something like it was isn't that like, as many people as believe in the big bang theory. Yes. Yeah. Not to show the scientific content. Even the big bang, good, Sheldon heart, young Sheldon. Not good. Is that a spin off what young Sheldon? I remember seed, the just the thumbnail for that, and thinking, wow. I am drifted far from the main demographic. He's just a such as smarmy little little kid. Thinks he knows it all, you know, it's one of those, those shows like the genius kid who gets to go to high school when he's like, you know, ten or something. Everyone hates him insist on wearing the bowtie. I kid plays is also in that show, big little liars, who which is awesome, by the way. That's a great show. Check that out. But I don't know. You're right Ben. There was legitimate fear for this quite large tall. Man, wearing this here. Suit costume. Yes. Yeah. Another show. We've done into to learn more about big, but you can hear our full interview with the founder and curator of expedition, Bigfoot, one of a kind museum in up near eligible Georgia. So cool David Baraga? Yeah. It's like it's like something you'd see in Epcot center early in the nineties. It's really, really neat. And the guy's super cool and believes this stuff with all his heart, and you can in the interview, here us asked him some of the some of the same questions that always come up the tough ones. The question number one numeral who is, you know where where the bones were the feces where the nesting sites. And how how much of a range would creature the size have to have how much of food would have to eat to sustain itself. Let alone. On to sustain feed a juvenile version. Right. If it reproduces at this point, there is no universally accepted proof that something like, Bigfoot currently exist, nor is there proof that something like it existed in the recent past the closest the closest noon thing would be maybe misidentification of large extent primates like guerrillas or rhinestones, or the gigantic Pickus maybe maybe maybe way back in the day. But then again. Still very speculative one thing is for sure, though, if someone who was a sasquatch hunter was out there in the area. That is sometimes called the big foot capital of the world. And they saw Peter Mayhew Baca everyone's favorite Wookey strolling through the woods by himself, they would probably have freaked out. They definitely would have tried to fill them or ask them. I like to think they wouldn't have shot the guy, you don't think they would have noticed all the camera crews and extras, and he walks and confirmation bias though, man, I guess. Maybe they would we don't wanna get too far too far down the big foot rabbit hole. But, but it is interesting. I wonder if there are other situations like that, where in the course of making a film, the filmmakers had to take extra precautions or maybe even do extra cultural things because of the values and mores of the place in which they were filming. Oh, I have no doubt. Yeah. Apocalypse? Now there's gotta be something with that. Oh, yeah. But I mean that was an interest. Kind of shoe, you know, and the thing I've noticed too here Lanta. It's like call it Jali would shoot a whole lot of movies here, and people that know that work in the film industry. Sometimes they bulldoze a little bit. They know if they're going to like shoot on your street. Oh, yeah. I really care about this renting your day day post a little Bill and so, you know, it's coming, but it's like okay, this is my life for the next week or two..

"All right. So let's continue the second installment of the roster model and the roster model evaluation a quick recap for the uninitiated. Basically, the model is something that we created last year to help evaluate the Rosser as we progress through this more than one year rebuild it's your two of the rebuild. And so I think it's a great time to see whether or not the forty Niners roster has continued to take a step forward or whether they've kind of been stuck in quicksand or maybe even taking a step back. Now, why do we talk about tears? That's because we're not looking at player evaluation as a binary year. Awesome. Or you suck kind of exercise. I think you have to have some Rosser construction that blends different skill levels and blends different kind of roster expectations but veteran and rookie in your overall roster construction. And so we think that these tears these five tiers ultimately that we've created capture that in a better and more holistic way than necessarily your good or. Oh, you're bad or a straight one through fifty three ranking? And then so in order to basically place them in these here's right? So five different tiers, which will will hit on in in just a moment. But basically the things that we're going to consider as to wear a player should place in that is going to be obviously their skill level. How talented they are. You know, what how good of a player they actually are positions. Going to matter. You know, obviously, the more important positions on the field things like quarterback cornerback pass rusher all of those premier positions that's going to wait heavily into where they get placed there. And then you're looking also the big thing for us is expected time on roster. Right. So a lot of the difference between some of these tears is whether they're kind of a temporary stopgap like we mentioned with Garson earlier or whether these are players that were expecting to be around for a while and to be able to get production from for an extended period of time here. They're definitely some other things. I think there's players that end up on kind of the. Fringe, and some of these tears, and you look at those on a case by case basis as we'll talk about some of some of them later, but those are kind of the primary factors that we're focused on in order to place these guys now we'll define the twos really quickly here. But if you need more information or want more information about those tears definitely tune into last week's episode because we talk about each tier in a bit more depth, but we covered tier five and or four players last week. That's the tier five is the replaceable player to your four is the developmental player to your three in tier two or the tears. We're going to tackle this week. And those are the transitional players generally older players with about two maybe three years of Rosser, production expectation and your to the foundational players these are generally younger players, but you expect them to produce on your team for three or more years. They are supporting players they fit specified roles. They are necessary for success in can play pivotal roles. Even if they're not the elite of the elite on your team. So we're going to cover the tears two and three. This week. But first, let's take a quick look back at some questions. We got about our rankings for tears four and here's five we have two corrections. One is about pita Talamo and Penghu. He was incorrectly less that his to your four, but he's very clearly a tier five David Wisey a tier five because not good. Nothing nothing further to ask. Sometimes this isn't difficult. "I am on Koch idea. I teach at the university in DEA today has organized its programs, and it says on bringing in a lot of views from all over. It is an extremely good platform for information and analysis, and I wish it all success in the future. You're listening to today. I'm joing. Welcome back to our panel on the Korean peninsula issue. And I'm joined by Dr Tim shell who associate professor was the school of international studies at the university of China and senior researcher was Penghu institution. Dr Steven Nagy senior associate professor was department of politics and international studies at international Christian university in Japan, Kim Jong Kim professor of law at career university. So Dr Nagy just know you've mentioned that can you own spent more than two thirds of new year speech talking about his snoot focus on economy, and we know that on his trip to China. This time hit visited effect -tory in Beijing that produces traditional Chinese medicine so is planning to develop the medicine industry. I don't think we know exactly what industries that the North Koreans are planning to develop. What we've seen is over the past several years if the North Koreans have been experimenting with small-scale special economic zone, and these folks most scale special economic zone or amend to. The experiment to see how they can match Feb level of of income growth in consumption in North Korea. And encourage a news that to encourage economic development what the state pies maintain socialist control of of North Korea. And this is a process of a gift by step process to see what works what doesn't work and get this resonates bay where chimes experiment with Deng Xiaoping started the reform and opening up. You know, it wasn't a medic process as he said himself. It was across the river by feeling the stone to the North Koreans needs to do that as well to to engage in in in in economic development in a way that the the the local conditions and the conditions are very different Chinese experiment experience. And they're going to have to continue to find ways to develop the economy, and maybe. Kind of traditional in. Maybe the way to move forward. Dr chin Nagy just mentioned about the reform and opening up of Chinese didn't Xiaoping, but we don't, of course, does have a lot of share was North Korea in terms of reform men opening up process, but what kind of extra environment is needed for for North Korea to develop as Konami single being the first place North Korea need to formulate a new national strategy, and that's gonna screw did last year's Oscar convenient so called sort plenum of seven seven's a party's congress and in which North Korea's parties or topped it new two of resolution. Someone awesome resolutions announced end of being in law, namely, North Korea cooled pursue nuclear weapons and economic development simultaneously and the second resolution NAS that. North Korea will continue single Mandola folks on economic development. I think North Korea has formulated new strategy. And I think that's the good news. But in the second place, I believe North Korean also need to create a favorable external environment for its reform and opening side to also ward and when China carry out some meaningful reform, China normalized is relationship with the United States and other western countries. So I sent Oscars also need to do. So. And unfortunately. Now, a North Korea suffered significant diplomatic isolation's. And also this country has been badly sanctioned by a United Nations secret councils and soul North Korea needs to do something to make a change to create more favorable external environment, and certainly as many other things North Korea coup to do for examples North Korea's leaders and also cooed I think it's a learn something from Chinese a former permanently. There's Xiaoping's pins were had new lot of experience and his determination to turn store to offset word and carry out reform certainly helped China lot. I think it's Kim Jung Eun certainly cooled move in that directions. Dr Kim, do you feel is perhaps too early to talk about economic development or reform in opening up? When the sanctions are still in place. Don't I think I think this is the time to talk about it..

"Welcome to today. News programme with a different perspective. I'm joing North Korean leader, Kim, Joel earn made a visit to China this week, adding vacation of Chinese president shooting paying this is Kim's force visit to China in a year president she has told Kim Joon that Beijing supports a second summit between the North Korean leader and the US President Donald Trump, adding that he hopes the meet each other halfway for his part can do unsaid North Korea will make efforts to achieve results that will be welcomed by the international community at the next summit with the you was Kim Saudi hoped relevant side would take north careers resonable concerns seriously and actively respond to them to promote a comprehensive resolution to the Korean peninsula issue. So what's the purpose of Kim's visit China, what does it mean to the peace and stability on the Korean peninsula? And what about the prospect of the second summit between north? Korea and the United States for these questions and more we are joined by Dr turns out who associate professor was the school of international studies at remain university of China, his also senior researcher of Penghu institution. Dr Steven Nagy senior associate professor was the department of politics and international studies at international Christian university. Also, Dr Kim Chong Kim professor of law at career university. Thank you all for joining us this evening. So dr. Getting evening, Dr tones into starch with super what exactly do you think are the purpose of Kim's visit to China this time soaking raise a congenial camera Chan try to achieve enough of the purposes, I think in the first place and believe kipnes try to enhance China under DPRK's relations and you'll see this year's who'd be the seventeens anniversary of the template amount of diplomatic relationship between China under the DVR key. So he came to Beijing and talk to China's leader, try to hustle, some kind of applying to celebrate such a canned of seventy anniversaries and essence, that's the importance. He tried to do certain as he try to accomplish the second important missions. And this mission has something to do with upcoming summit between him and President Trump. Yeah. Dr Nagy, what do you think and just us Dr tone mentioned the timing is very interesting because this is right ahead of the second summit between can earn Donald Trump. So what do you make of this? So I think it's a very interesting point from my point of view. I think that the the visit to China on behalf of of she is important, it's important signaling to Washington, both China and North Korea have other options if the diplomatic negotiations with Washington don't proceed in a more positive, I think incremental and results oriented fashion, and and and chairman Kim mentioned this specifically in his new year speech. He said that without fear action by the United States that, you know, North Korea will pursue other option on the side. And I do think China it side is important as well is that the trade wars putting pressure on China? And I think presidency is tried to signal to Washington it can be a positive force and. Dealing with North Korea or trying to can't play a more complicated position. If the guys to North Korea in terms of of Washington's long-term objectives Dini could arise North Korea. This again, what do you think? And also with set with said, this is the fourth time the kindle and for him to pasta border into China within the past ten months. So this is not something that frequently happens in international relations..
