I would leave my husband for Rachel vase. I love her. And she's and she's just that's not the look for her. I mean, she looks okay. 'cause she's Rachel vice and she's so beautiful, but it looks goofy. It's like, ma'am, it's time to wear some clothes. Let's get you a new stylist working really hard on dressing older. Chee Tandy Newton Westworld, Yvonne's hausky, the Handmaid's tale, Alex Bernstein of won the EMMY for this category. She is amazing. And stoppable OB lovely to see her win another reward another award for this category. I have not seen. Westworld 'this into and I had not seen the Handmaid's tale. So I don't know what to say about those two and I've not seen sharp objects. I'm sure Penelope Cruz was fine in Johnny for sake. But I don't have any say about it. So it's probably going to be Alex Bernstein. We'll see. Serious TV movie or many serious, supporting actor Alan Arkin, the Kaminsky method, Kieran, Culkin succession at girl Ramirez. The assassination of Johnny cheat Ben wish show, a very British scandal. Henry, Winkler berry and Henry Winkler I would love to see win. He's awesome and golden gloves when are we going to have serious team or mini series be separate categories? I don't understand why supporting actors have to be all clumped together in one category. Because Henry Winkler is amazing. But if you put them up against somebody who's in a mini series that is acclaimed has won a lot of awards. I'm getting a little nervous that he's not going to win an Golden Globe. And I love me some handing Winkler and I would love disease him win. But this situation of the Golden Globes is never going to be okay until they separate the categories. I've been ranting and raving about it for years, and it doesn't look like it's changing anytime soon, and it's still annoys me to no end. Michael yellow talks about this every time the nominations come up, he's like when is this going to happen? It's ridiculous. So that's the Golden Globes. I'm looking forward to that. That's going to be airing next Sunday. L definitely give you my thoughts and opinions on what happened. When I have my neck show in January less than three months after Julie. Chen, departed, the talk the CBS chat fest has found her permanent replacement in Carrie Ann Inaba. You might know her from dancing with the stars. She will be gin to fill her seat in January. She has served as a guest host multiple times since Chen's departure from the show in September. Of course, be no Chen, step down after her husband, less Munoz was fired from CBS. So I wish her a lot of luck on that show. And as you'll soon here they're not doing dancing with the stars cycle in the spring. So she will be vailable for several months. So the talk, I'm pretty sure films in Los Angeles. So if she does do dancing with the stars eight actually could work out pretty well for her even though they're not going to do a cycle in the spring when they come back in the fall, I think she'll be able to work it out pretty well. "She's an extraordinary makeup artists who works for like every magazine under the sun vogue. I d another magazine you also do chanels fashion shows advertising somebody named miss Penelope Cruz. Welcome to fat mascara. Thank you. Thank you for having me. So you're in New York because truly Chanel is in New York. You guys that a huge fashion show this week, right? Yes. Yes. We did a fashion show last night night. Yeah. It was just last night. And how did it go? Really, really? Well, I'm so excited about it. And your looks that you created were amazing before we get into your career. I have to say you painted the legs of the model old whose idea was that. All's okay. Yes. When you're like, Carl, I can't do it. I was like, oh, sure. How far fancy that? He wanted that. Hopefully, if you some some fair warning. I went to see him probably a week before with the trial. And I already knew this because vision ni he's head of design called me up to to say. So I I go my products together and went to see them with it. And we did a little trial in the model. And it was very happy said it was right gold that he wanted. So. So are we going to see a new Chanel product gold sprint legs spray coming out? Maybe I don't know. We hope to check on the overshadow about. We're not sure if that's going to be a big fella marketing think, but even the eyes were great those graphic cool. I line shapes around the eyes. Yeah. Those where you know, you know, the. Installation was adoption the collection was inspired by that. So I kind of felt like it was nice to tell a little bit of the story, but take it somewhere, quite modern. And in fact, futuristic because they have this kind of arrow dynamic feel about them the lines so black and white, and then the blue was one of the colors in the buttons of the collection. And of course, the gold there was only one man with a gold is if you notice I didn't how how did they get picked? Why how did you decide who got the gold just because it was it just the good on him? I didn't know if he was he's like a bond, and then and then I had a motive listen I thought oh by instinct, she'll look good in white tool. Back who blew it looked as ING just. Yeah. Feel the feeling so doing the makeup for Chanel fashion show is only one part of your job. Yes. And if you hear that job title that we just said you have I'm sure people are like what does she what do you do? So what exactly do you do? So I create all the makeup collections for Chanel. So I do I think about seven or eight collections year, the spring, summer autumn, Christmas and lip collection. I collection. And so on sounds like a dream job..

"I was like, well, Robert Downey junior has got something to do with it. He wants, you know, wanted her. Obviously, he's the psychiatrist. The one that's going to tell her what her realities. And I would just like waiting on that. That's what I, I thought. Do they have that scene where she's looking out out the window and she looks up and he's like any like close the? Yeah, definitely. They definitely do that little breadcrumbs also, it was. It was interesting because you know, when she wakes up in the sale or in the room or whatever, she still remembers every single thing of her training. Right? And that's what he's testing the moment he comes in. He's like, you know what's gonna happen. And she gives like an angering. She gives another expiration. So you could tell she remembered every moment every I've what happened to her that day. So she's got some sort of clarity up until that moment. So something happened, something changed then, but like all girl and then yeah, and and I think, yes. So for me, the supernatural element like added this mystery to it, you had no idea what was like. Did she what she really possessed or what she if she wasn't like, why did she kill them? Because we find out that they weren't cheating. We find out that he wasn't cheating or what have you. He tells her they weren't. She tells her they weren't. Cheating and then like, and so we don't. We don't really know why she would kill him. And so we're like, maybe it was just like a crazy. Demon possessed? No, that it wasn't a vampire movie yet for sure. At this point to act other. And I love that honestly, love the direction of this movie. I thought it was very cool out the editing. The rectangle. Eggs they threw in throughout that they have like a man, the lights, right? The light in her room is the same as the light above his bed, but his their bedroom when she opens the door at the end fame like rectangle box way except at the at the prison, it's blue at home. It's red and it's like you've been sleeping with the devil this whole time. And there was, and I love the imagery of forgot who is explaining it, but what was it? Maybe it was the husband when he throws the water on the glass and then he's like. Creepy a worked. I mean, the man was the man was evil, but he he tells her to throw the water on the and she just does it. And I was like, he's controlled by because he was like explaining, he was like, look and like, you see, like, you see your reflection, but it's distorted. You know, that's what's happening with Penelope Cruz. Basically, he was telling her everything. He was basically saying like, he was basically healing but, but it. But she just read it as the rape that happened time ago. And she was saying like heath, it's not that she's not seeing the truth. It's just that the truth has been distorted. It's like when you look at a glut and then they had that in the movie, like they kept coming back where, like a shower scene where she was looking at, everyone was like everyone's looking at her and they became had a little bit something different issues like freaking out and and wind up cutting herself. And part of me was thinking like, I feel like she as a doctor was being triggered in that moment, realizing how, how. How pervasive this thing was because it. 'cause even though the movie was about these two guys, the reality was it was happening for, I'm sure so many of the women that were in this prison our in like hat, all these, she was treating treating. He had full control over so he she, she talks to the women gets their story goes back to him. He tells her what to think, and that's how she's treating them. So he's got this perfect system in place where he's not only not gonna get caught, but he can also just tell everyone what they're thinking. Their reality is and that's, and it was like, what in even outside of the the freaking mess up thing that was happening within the like such psychiatric ward. It was what happened to these women outside where nobody was believing them and they get to a point where they snap their, they may be her harm somebody or whatever..

"So this part this part of the movie made me mad though, because you know, you know that feeling when you are saying the by somebody, but they both start walking in the same direction. You're like, oh, we got to walk in the same direction by right. This was happening to her, but it was like a whole time. She's Yellen like expletives Zaddar Carson editors, and I was like, they could figure something else out. She could have gone different direction. Go first and how back a minute also. Yeah. Yeah. And I guess, oh, damn, maybe it's the logic thing. Well, it is logical thing that threw me off in a very, I'm like, if Penelope Cruz is as dangerous as everyone's making out to be there's no way she should be able to get up, have access to her hands like that without someone right there, you see the guards rush by, but they're so far away, they would have been at the door if she weren't guy how they got a pencil, she can smash this like they do this a lot in the movie where they, they have the the psychiatrists like alone in the room with the patient. And the orderlies are either outside of the locked door or like down the hall. And I was like, yeah, it feels like a just a kind of cinematic thing they did to to add tension is very interesting, especially because like our friend Ray works in place, maybe like a hopefully not intense, but he told stories about how they're always there because people will go from joke in and being very happy to just snapping someone else or even him randomly. Right? So just to see that little thing of, oh, we just got Halle Berry in his in his cage. Lucia. Yeah, this is crazy. Yeah. And even even, I guess, not think about holidays performance in the scene, which I guess is on purpose is just the coldness also the the way she underestimates the, what do you call them isn't that isn't that your client is your patient patient is like, you're not listening to it for real. You don't feel any fear from her, but you also night any point taken in almost anything. She's really saying right here. She's talking about a demon exac- right about like, say, like, like Satan came to me and like, I don't know another justification for my theory that there was no supernatural element real that it was hallucinations because it's the same for Penelope where we now know for sure. There was some raping her. I think we've established accepted that her dad was also raping her, and now there's someone in and she keeps saying she, there were three times. It's not like she's just randomly saying it like she was. But that's also Penelope's brain, you know, deciding that she can't believe that you can't believe that your father would do something like that, especially when your child and some people do start interpreting that as, oh, the devil has possessed him, and then then same thing she's saying the devil's coming in this man. I mean, he's got a tattoo of woman burning on his chest. So I would say he's probably pretty bad to begin with. But in her mind, it's this the devil coming again into another man, and you know whatever her her explanation is. But I think that's the logic here in the Mexican talk about this with with her with Halle, Berry's husband, what's his rock? That's his name, Charles done. His name. He movie is Dr Douglas gray. He was. Famous sitcom on the only blacks that comes to happen to be on TV and what nineteen Ninety-three like he was on a good show and he was rock are very issue. I would never. But he he's, you know, he talks about how well the mind does, what it can't protect itself. So whether it's suppressing traumatic experience or recreating it to be something fantastic desma just saying, you know, I agree. I do like that. That's the thing that when I was watching it again after these first two scenes, I was like, I know I remembered immediately that that the the husband was like the bad guy and that the cop was about. I was like, all right. They were like they like kidnapping, raping, forget. I remembered it immediately, but then I was like the house like wheat and and then I, then I rewrote the movie in my head and I was like, I think the supernatural Hohmann is fake..

It's nut grave. It's we'll see you and how party people. And this is where we talk about stuff usually about horror SCI fi fantasy related film and television. Sometimes like today we go a little bit out of the box. That's not a euphemism today we're doing 'em I six, which from tencent purposes is a fantasy film a little bit of fast. I mean, I know you're not making it up. I'm merely speaking in mystically. That's in the news. Oh my God. Yeah, he's doing. I would. I don't think so. But he should. What do you think the odds are that he went to his neighbor after and he said, now, listen, sometimes you're gonna see me in a window and you're gonna feel a sting in the back of your neck to call the cops. That's pride fucking with you. You're quoting the comedy central roast of Bruce Willis? Yes. As far as I know, that's only from that rose. You never did that in a movie or writing. Okay, thing Rams is he fat? Now it's hard to tell when watching mission of Basel, he wears a lot of like soprano shirts, which usually means you're fed. And his face looks weird. He looks like a big muscular guy that that probably put on weight. Sure. Yeah, still enjoy them. I still enjoy very much they didn't. They always kind of cut away when Ving would start running. They'd be like, let's let's see what we got an a two shot of Tom and then come back to Ving when the running and stopped. Yeah, it's bad when it's bad when you're letting Simon Pegg get more actions speaking of looks. Yeah. So well, we're watching that man, bald, I think from scene to scene, we're watching him bald. I love Simon Pegg. What is he sixty? Eight for Christ's sake. I thought the guy was that much older than we are. He looks like a sixty eight year old man. It's what happens to all British actors like they, they look like newborns until they're twenty five, and they immediately look like they're eighty year old women vases going strong still looks great if that British guy. Has had a little better. The pale frail, light skinned, fair haired. British guys always wind up. Looking like old women. Look, Hugh Grant looks like a seventy five year old woman. I never would have put money on the on the on Raby Coltrane keeping it together. Long signed ad helps that. How do you now? Do you think he's hitting the sauce? Because he's got a real. He's gonna. Leathery. Face egg might be hitting the sauce. He he's written movies about trying to beat the sauce. That is true that world's end, which I really didn't care for. I like the world's at..
