"Did no ice I told her that I had doubts about whether or not she was telling the truth and how did she react. she would get upset and she'd say you know I'm not really a liar why would I lie about this thing. here's what I thought again this is Peggy Peggy had our own theory for why Marie might be lying about this I thought okay in my mind. really got herself into trouble. she got carried away. with some kind of sexual encounter. and she let somebody take pictures of her and now they're going to get out on the internet and she's trying to backtrack and you know maybe I didn't trust the police and maybe I didn't think they were understanding the nature of my daughter's personality you know I mean it's more histrionics you know like histrionic personality. it seemed like her her next tactic to try to get my attention. one day after the rape Peggy called the lead detective on the case detective Jeffrey Mason she asked if she could meet with me in person and so I agreed went to a residence met with her she was having questions about the story that was being told whether it was truthful or not. she'd seen in sincere she was trying to pass on information that and maybe maybe since there's not that the correct terminology but I mean she was just you know. she expressed a lot of concern and and caring for Marie but. also.

"The things that we would buy for each other for our own selves. Yeah. Or for people on our list? I'm getting another smart plug. All right. So Andrew what's next up next up? I'm going to say that laptops, always a big nice seal, especially for students. You're so I end on this show. Hey, listen. This is a show about consumer electronics. That is not a cheap category. Okay. Oh, I beg to differ. But anyway, keep going. So about new holiday gifts. Yes. First of all, we've got the new apple book air is the first time this has been redesigned since twenty eleven hand that to you is that rose gold that is that is gold gold now rose gold come on. There is also one there was also there was there between ro- golden rose gold. There's a difference. There's also space gray. And then so this is an apple thing. This is more because this right here is the Microsoft surface. Pro six I'm a big fan of using the hardware from the maker of the software. So that's why I like apple a lot. But this is Microsoft's version of that they make windows ten and they make the surface hardware as well. So both of these are good choices. Whether you're someone who just needs a light laptop when you're on the go or again, if you're a student in college, and you just need a great notebook. That's lightweight. You don't need something like. A MAC book pro or thicker gaming, something that powerful, just you're just all about being mobile DJ too. Great options. Nice. Very good the surface. Pro very popular. I seen a lot of people with. Yes. It seems to be more popular than even the surface laptop might be interesting. Okay. Okay. So next up. I actually have something I want you to talk about that is on my list. Okay. That's I have noticed that you come in every week with this amazing backpack. Oh, yes. And I know it's a peak designed bag beaches on every day backpack. Got why do you have my bag? That's tell me about this thing. Because this thing is amazing. Yeah. So the reason I got this bag is because I do a lot of business travel. And I wanted something that would make it easy for me to carry around all my stuff, plus my camera. So what's interesting is most bags when you open them are just one endless and just like reaching your. Right. So there is stores here up top. But. I can turn it to the side and open. And now, you can see I have multiple layers on the inside. So instead of being one huge hole. You can move around by the way, these are resized because I had a microphone to fit here. But I could just keep it open like that. So it can multiple or you can do this. And you have that for each level of the bag the sides have pockets as well in them. It's just like a great all purpose bag, and what's even cooler is the side pockets have straps in though. So you can tie in even a tripod in here in strap it down. So this is that you can think of for carrying around this bag into it. You know, this you my mom listening to this show. And so I have an ulterior motive for talking about some of these things, but I especially liked this new. He my mom Peggy Peggy, my the new pier design bag it is it is two hundred dollars laptop to fifty nine. But again, like, it's peaches, I never date backpack everyday backpack. There's something to be said for having a bag where your stuff isn't just like crashing into each other, especially if you have expensive things. Like DSL are like you just have a dedicated area. And the fact that basically you can sort of swing your backpack off one arm. The other end up the side and has that side pocket on both sides, by the way, nothing gets a both side pockets, you know, what would fit very well in this is the MO fi wireless charger. Yes. It would charge. It would fit very nicely in there. And the plug. You know, how many points you could fit in this bag. It's crazy. But yeah, it is not not cheap. It's two hundred sixty dollars. That's how many smart plugs is that. That's that's quite a. Exactly. All right. So moving on what's next on your list, Andrew next..

"Know what to expect that way by eating definitely ayckbourn? But looking back at his real guy, you know, really? Dancing. Oh, yeah. All right. Thank you. Andrea. Well, that's interesting seeing both of them back to back stars more bohemian rhapsody. Yeah. Who different movies? Okay. Let's talk to Peggy Peggy Peggy what are your movie thoughts? We loved it. It was a pack theater. We love the music, and I don't really need to go and see all of the dark side of the whole thing. For the for the music and his customs costumes to start out with. Over the wild. Just he was just a I mean that they put on I'm like right away. White big huge thing around his head. And this was very very out there, and that was totally gone with the music was good, and the dancing was good and the interaction between all the people on the band was good good. Yeah. The relationship with him and his wife were great. And you know, when he he said, oh, maybe I'm bisexual, and she's like, well Di you're gay. I knew that. Yeah. But even even back, then it was not something that you heard a lot with kind of. It was great to go and see it to appreciate the music. Yeah. We're talking about Queen city. Thank you. Fun. There is a New York Times interview with the gal who did the costumes for it. And she said like even for what he were to Wembley stadium. Those were Wrangler 's they went to Wrangler to get you know, they knew his size and she made like twenty five different t shirts because it just had to be the right kind of t shirt the studded belt, I mean, Ray meticulously looked at all these photos to recreate so that visually. He looks exactly. Like him right down to it was kind of fascinating. I'm always interested in that. Oh. Because that's such a big part of a bio pic eight you gotta have the rates to the music. And you gotta look like the person you gotta you gotta be able to him real quick. Hi, pam. Did you see bohemian rhapsody? I did I want with my husband. We could not have loved it. Mar good. Oh my gosh. I just it started right from the credit seeing the upcoming by OPEC gone out and John coming on. So just kind of put you in that whole mood of the seventies. And the simplicity of the seventies. There's a section that some people might think was really schmaltzy. But I thought it was kind of brilliant where they used remember the graphics that were used with the shooting out colored bands of light during videos back, then the whole section with that that just put you in that back then mood of how things were on the humanity of you, just, you know, your friends moved on the bandmates move down. They phone spouses, they started to have children and their, Freddie. So so lonely knickknack giving much you're not going to say. To some. Oh, you guys are gonna love it. Thank you. Those are some good review India, and and kind of I did think about that. I've had. Yeah. You can't let you know when you really love somebody's music or their life. Like, even you know, it didn't get a lot. But the the James Brown bio pic that oh Chadwick. Bozeman? Overlooked a really, yes. It was it was so good. And you know in the music and just sort of where James Brady was just it was an amazing. So I think if you do really like and loved the music as long as they don't completely mess up their life. Yeah. Give you remember as stocking James Brown playing blackjack Planet Hollywood that was his wife was on one end of the table. And he was in the other security guards all around near them. No. They didn't look at each other. Just rings on the fingers. Just like gosh. That's seems Brown. I know we can't. We can't. Keep losing. Oh, anyway, fat. Yes. I like that. And I don't know if anyone had a chance to see Julia Roberts, Amazon if you've got a chance to actually I I not dying to watch that one. I watched eight of them all my gosh. That good Donnie. No, did you get what it a half an hour. So I split it up over the weekend. Okay. They're trying to be very atmospheric with music movies in the way, the shot. You don't find out until episode seven. Exactly what's going on. Okay. You got to sit through a lot. All right. Put their only half hour. I mean, does it have. Thanks a little episode. Eight things really start are really start to happen. Now in episode of ten. You've got to be patient. All right. Well, here's what I got. I was obsessed with this weekend. Now, you need to look up this name, Laura shakeup, Al al-doory, L O R D I, he is an Australian actor, and he was in this movie. Sure everyone saw called the kissing booth. It's on it's on Netflix one. And he's six foot four Donnie if if you could ever go enjoy kissing booth. Oh my gosh. Okay. But he percent on rotten now. Hey. You will love it. But it's. He's a student. He's the older brother of this whatever it's just a high school coming looks like. You know, who he reminded me of his voice on if there's a way to get his voice reminded me of what Ryan Reynolds, no goslings, younger brothers voice would sound like he felt like we were listening to Ryan Gosling. How'd you find it? It was another high school student finds herself face to face with their long-term crush when she signs up to Rennie kissing at the spring covers looking I mean, there's. It was perfect. It was just so done. And I'm like, I just want something light. 'cause I watched a couple of hallmarks. Yeah. Yeah. I'm in those this one I saw and I saw I sent it to my little sister. Who's got a, you know, a teenage daughter, and I said have you seen it? Oh love that movie. That I said it to another one I've already done sin, but nobody else all the audience did get so cute with this guy. Jacob L Dory. Elo de Aloni from Australia four. Oh, yeah. He's taller than tall. He is such a babe in his voice is one hundred percents. Let's see I got the right guy here.

"Amount that he's eating if the cat is is is is is is drinking water. It's very possible that we don't know. How old the cat is right. No, we don't how what about ballpark. What does it back? Thank you. Just ballpark figure. About a year and a half. Okay. So it's a young cat. It's a young cat eating. It's a young cat. That's drinking and still losing weight. So what type of worm would be indicative of a problem like that? How about tapeworm? What we did when he was treated for worms, and whatever worm he was treated for that. What we created them for? Okay. Now. Did he did? He was he an outdoor cat or an indoor cat or outdoor indoor outdoor. Okay. See? I'm a big fan of indoor. It's very possible. You might have treated him for let's say roundworm or hookworm. But all of a sudden he was out in the yard or wherever he was. And he picked up a tapeworm from bird poop, or whatever he picked it up from it sounds to me if you've been treating for parasites, but if you have a cat that is eating same amount of food. But losing weight guy tapeworm would be a good guess may not be tapeworm, and maybe some other type of worm. But I think at this point what you really need to do is get a specimen into the vet because it can make you know, it can really make them six six six six six if they can't get the food if the tapeworm and tapeworms get really really big. So I think at this point what I would do Peggy in Ocala Florida is make sure you get a specimen into the vet right away. They can. Check it out in a matter of minutes or an hour. Get an answer to you. Let's get to cat healthy and happy again. Thank you. Don't call. Anyone put you on hold. And I am going to send Peggy I am going to send Peggy Peggy I'm going to send you just in case. There's some more of these outdoor cat. You know, I'm gonna send you some Lucy pets cats. Incredible. Well, he's now Thor cat is an act. Okay. You know, what I'm gonna send you hugs and kisses for your cat, hugs and kisses for your cat on your way. Eight seven seven seven two five eight hundred fifty five that is the phone number. Let's go to Sherry in Waco, Texas. Hey, sherri. How are you? Are you doing I'm doing soup? How's everything a beautiful Waco today? It's looking good overcast doing good today. What can I do to help you out? I have a cat who's that a lot of health issues the almost and now he's back from the dead. He has diabetes, really, bad and. About ten units. Two dollars a day, but it helping him because. He's now gaining weight again, but he's still looked sensibly drinking water, but before that he had obsessive behaviors and he had to take antidepressants. And so the vet thinks that he's probably obsessing about the water and he's eating in the litterbox in going to the bathroom. Urinating outside of the litterbox because he's not all the way. I don't know. He just doesn't figure that he he thinks he didn't a little back, but he's not and the vet the vet the vet. He has the the vet has them on on on insulin. And so the insulin saints, he's gaining weight and everything, but you know, one of the one of the things about diabetes is the first thing they look for is a dog or a cat or even a human being that has excessive thirst so excessive thirst, and how long has he been on the on the insulin? It's been several months. But yes, originally, we were we do about the sense of thirst. Correlated with diabetes. But now that he's become regulated. She was saying that he should taper off of books. Okay. Here's what I'd like. Here's what I'd like you to do. Okay. Instead of leaving one. What a dish down for the dog offer the dock for the cat. What I'd like you to do is take three or four dishes and just put a little bit of water in math of what he would drink and place three or four dishes around the house, not just one location, but three or four dishes around the house. What had happened is? He may have developed the situation where he was so thirsty because of the diabetes that he drinks and drinks and drinking event maybe right on target. He may have developed a behavioral issue because of that. But by putting other water dishes around the house, he won't be. So he won't have such a desire that I better drink a lot right now realizing that you know, what there's some in the bedroom. There's some in the bathroom. There's some in the Dan there's water over there as well. So that's what I would be doing from a behavioral standpoint right now if I find that that's not working, then maybe it's time for the vector take another check. But it sounds to me like it's developed into a behavioral issue being that the insulin is being done on a regular basis the sugar levels are right right now, you vet might be on. Targeting developed the habit of drinking excessive water to calm himself down. You said he was actress to begin with. So I think what we'll do at this point. Again is as I said three or four different water dishes, smaller amounts of water throughout the house. Give that a shot. Let me know how it's working out. In the meantime, Sherry, I'm gonna put you on hold. And I'm also going to send you a gift certificate for kids and pet stain in order over the clean up any of the accidents that he may be or she may be having. I love my listeners. They are so intuitive. They ask the right questions. Why is my cat drinking so much? What a what can I do about it? That's important things to ask. An and that's why I say keep a little journal, especially if you have a cat with diabetes or dog with some other type of medical problem, keeping.

"That is the way to get through plenty of time for your call lots of great stuff to give away i've got some great information i want to share with us right now let me get right right the busy busy phone lines here in the pet show and let's start off with peggy peggy welcome to the show all right i had a collie ten years old long hair short hair he's okay i'm here and he is scared to death of high wind or even medium wind and rainstorms and he pays his in the house all night no my arm wakes me up he's kept me up all night a couple of things right off the bat for people that don't know dogs really don't understand it kind of freaks them out because not only are they hearing what they hear the sound of the wind but the change in barometric pressure all of that affects them so what we need to do is take the time to desensitize the dog to what the wind sounds like so here's my recommendation to you number one if you're online or have a friend that's online you can actually download the sound of a windstorm whether it be a hurricane strong winds snowstorm or whatever you can actually download that sound and what you do it's the same thing you do to desensitize a dog to a baby crying or or whatever noise they might be fearful of thunder lightning it doesn't make any difference so what you do is you download the sound at the dogs fearful of in your case it's wind and what you do is in the evening when it's nice and quiet you play it but at a volume where the dog is hardly hearing yet not reacting in any way shape or form while you're massaging him giving him a tree playing with him or whatever you do that for a few days and then a few days you increase the volume a little bit more same thing a lot of positive attention increase it a little bit more a few days later and little by little what we're gonna do in term of of what we call it behaviorally it's county conditioning we're gonna take specifically what your dog is afraid of and turn that into a positive so when he hears the wing t associates that with positive things versus negative things is it going to take some time.
