"Football. Yes, yeah. Plus, alongside Hercules Gomez. I'm Sebastian Salazar. What are you so upset about over there on the west? You're supposed to dress up. This guy never dresses up. I thought we'd give him a compromise. I wanted to dress up. I had my Captain America outfit on. I was in, no, no, no, no, just something hot theme. What do you think? I'm sorry. Why don't you tell us what you are wearing because it does look like a cool shirt there. What do you think it is sad? You got me all riled up now. This is running out. Very cool. By the way, we need more clothes for Qatar people. We are going to be doing shows every single day live on ESPN+ from Qatar for the World Cup. So we need more gear, all right? If you have cool soccer gear, you didn't get sent. Yes, I'm starting to get some shipments. I'm very happy. Are you starting to get your shipments? I got a Prada shipment. Yeah. Okay. All right, excuse me. And of course, we are still on YouTube, by the way. So if you're on the ESPN YouTube channel, let me get out of the comments with my people. See what you have to say and we'll maybe read your read your comments here on the show. All right, coming up. We got a lot to get to, Raquel Rodriguez is going to join us. "Gomez, I am Sebastian Salas, our great to have you with us, and then there were two two teams left. That's all that's left in the U.S. open cup. We will discuss that plenty throughout the show. We also have coming up Mauricio pedrosa who's going to join us to discuss all the latest news out of Liga mechi and with the Mexican national team plus a one on one with U.S. men's national team goalie Zach Stephan ahead of his season with Middlesbrough in the championship Casey Keller will also join us to discuss not just the interview with Zach Stefan, but also American goalies at large and specifically their work in the championship over the years. But there's only one place to start this edition of football America's episode, 149, by the way, and we're gonna start it with the magic of the cup. U.S. open cup, semifinals last night. We're starting with a nightcap Sacramento against sporting Kansas City. Zero zero into the second half. First real chance of the day gone down the shot pool scam. The goalie for sporting Kansas City with a huge save on gecko Gonzalez to keep us scoreless and push this one in to extra time. Tension throughout this match. Into extra times. Sporting Kansas City would get some chances, none better than this one. Daniel shallow E. Off the underside of the crossbar, then ricochets out of bounds, another look at it here, sporting Kansas City, getting some momentum and extra time. But can't put it past. Daniel vitiello, the goalie for Sacramento republic. So we're headed to a penalty shootout. Four three, sporting Kansas City here when I mamacita Malik foster does this. Are you kidding me? I don't even know what I'm focused on here. Am I focused on the panenka? 'cause it's pretty wild to do it in a situation like this. And my focus on the back flip celebration 'cause that's pretty sweet to do in a moment like this or my focus on this. He's putting everybody to sleep like Steph Curry. Grand zusi steps up. A huge save. He'd been waiting for his moment all night. And he makes the play here. The save, which puts the game in the balance and who else, and it Capitan. Rodrigo Lopez, from the spot with those shorts on all the way up, put Sacramento republic into the final, they beat sporting Kansas City. 5, four on penalties after a scoreless straw through not just 90, but a 120 minutes. Absolute scenes at heart health park in Sacramento. Unbelievable stuff, Sacramento becoming the first non MLS team to reach the final of the U.S. open cup since 2008 when the Charleston battery reached the final only default. My beloved D.C. United. "Football, that was a completely of cathedral. He went home and said. Joining us next on football America is to discuss the potential move for Santiago Jimenez and some other moves around Mexican soccer, Mauricio pedrosa, who was playing weatherman in Green Bay this past weekend for Bayern, Munich and Manchester City, bro bravo. That was some of the best TV work I have seen in years. You and Barack unbelievable. Thank you, dude. Thanks, man. I appreciate it. Shout out to my guy. As well. He knows he's my dude. So appreciate the love. All right, so let's get into Santiago Jimenez. Now, do you think Dutch football and specifically feyenoord is the correct landing spot for this prospect who we've been talking about making the move to Europe for quite some time now? It is the perfect move to the point in which I'm now just starting to picking the spot on my body where I'm going to have to prove that they're both at tattoo after the wall cook to pay off my bed because it looks like the guy is on fire and I understand why he might be concerned in terms of timing, the timing of the move. Right when his just picking it up, absolutely and Fuego with crusade. But I think this just speaks volumes about how well he's being managed. I'm going to give props to Chris as soon as well for making this happen, but they're seeing the big picture. The big picture is I know everyone wants to play in this next World Cup. And a lot of players are making decisions just to comply with what Tata martino is asking from players, right? Get minutes play, be on the field for Santiago Jimenez is seeing the big picture in terms right now what I need is to steal develop my skills, still find my right place the right path for my

"Of his assistants are actually at the games. We're not paying all that money to his assistance. We're paying all of that money to get out of the martino. That's why he has to be here and I know some of the pundits and experts like her keep saying, well with technology, you can really be up to date. We all cover soccer. We all know it's not the same thing to break down a game when you actually are at the stadium that when you're watching on a screen. So it's just that this graze that he is not only that he doesn't care anymore. He doesn't care that we know that he doesn't care. So just comes to proof and again, my point for a year and a half ago that he wants to leave as soon as he can. Perfect case study right here. Maurice pedrosa, the Mexican public, the Mexican pundit. It is everything for them. It may be nothing for Tata martino because let's face it. It could be nothing if Mexico was coasting through World Cup qualifying. They qualified first if goal scoring wasn't an issue. Today, confidence in the national team wasn't in question. But because it is in question, but because it is an issue because they have struggled so much because they had a horrendous summer where they lost multiple finals couldn't be the U.S. or Canada. This is everything. He has to realize where he is. He has to realize how much of a bad look this is just in general because this is really a non issue. I maintain with the platforms you have today to scout, you should already know who you want to take, et cetera, you can pick up the phone, talk to a coach, no big deal. But it's a situation. It's everything surrounding the Mexican national theme that makes this look bad. Read the room, read the room, I think, Hercules Gomez once said on this show. I feel like this is Tata martino's in both failure to read the room and at this point I'm kind of with you now. I don't know that he cares to read the room anymore when it comes to the Mexican press or really the Mexican public. The other note I think I have down here is that it's all about the timing, right? This comes out the same week that reports come out that he's going to leave Mexico after this World Cup. He's got his next destination chosen and some of the reports were Boca. Some of those reports then later shot down, but it just seems like he's got one foot kind of already out the door when it comes to Mexican soccer in the Mexican national team. All right, one more topic, guys. One more topic I want to get to here. And that is a transfer move

"Unfortunately it came from a set piece, late chance here, Santiago, kimenye. Hey, you got a shot on gold. There's something there. So I'm not gonna go then in Orlando, finishes with another frustrating zero, zero draw. Nothing frustrating about our next guest, Mauricio pedrosa, who joins us on football Americas, Mao and I were hanging out without Hercules Gomez, has one would like a Connecticut earlier this week. Wow, the dirt, all of the bad stuff that we were saying about her when you got the two of us at times. That was a good time. Good times, good times, boys. We miss you, Eric. But I hope your ears were not ringing, profoundly, while you were asleep. I'm sure all nice things. All right, so even though there weren't many goals and admittedly even fewer highlights, I think there's still much to discuss from this game. But before we get everybody's opinion on what happened, the main storyline from this was Marcelo Flores, he didn't start. He played the last half hour. Let's hear from Tata martino's assistant Jorge diller, who kind of explained what the plan was with Flores. Unable.

"You in the past to say. Yeah. Okay. We always talk about. We always talk about this. Why not? It's a game. We're really unless there's a catastrophe you're going to be in the World Cup. Give this guy a shot. If he scores a couple goals, remember that's all it took suddenly Ricardo pepi was a $20 million transfer to Augsburg. Why not give a young Mexican player that chance? Now, why not? Because he has his shoulders anything. What has he done? They've not given him the opportunity to spend. I mean, he can not start for a team to Mexican league like crusade. I mean, are we just going to give up opportunities to professional players randomly? Hey, I'm a have a shot to start for the Mexican national league. I just, I'd rather start, I'd rather start Henry Martin over Santiago talking about players who don't start for their club team. Well, well, but these candy Martin has already scored for the Mexican national team. He plays for club America under a lot of pressure and he has shown you very, very solid minutes. At what point do you start thinking future? Do you start thinking Henri Martin is not my present nor my future? Santi Jimenez couldn't be my future son, Jimenez. I need to start grooming him now because he's got all these intangibles that are way different than a 9s in the pool. He's big, he's strong, he's very fast, he's got a good nose to grow and his best and his best play, he's very raul Jimenez like he makes those around him better. He made Rodriguez a great goal scorer that season they won the tournament. He's a good player. When do you start to think about the future in a future episode of football America? 'cause we gotta leave this here for now. Mauricio pedrosa, thank you so much for taking the time. As always, good to have you here on the show. Love you boy. See.

"I'm still here. All right, so before we bring in Marty, she'll Pedro so then let's take a look at the Mexico 11 for this game against Jamaica, down in Kingston, a very, very difficult game for Mexico. They go down a goal. Playing against ten men, Jamaica, and then storm back with a couple goals in the last ten minutes. So on this one, a little started in midfield. Thought that was a little bit of a surprise. A very experienced central defense with heck on one end. It's a good way. You know, you like that one. Alexis Vega interesting starters out wide and of course rogelio funes mori with no crowd Jimenez, no two kilos on a lot of big pieces, not so sad for this Mexico team tonight. All right, without further ado, let's kick off this edition of three questions by welcoming in our good friend Mauricio pedrosa. So now we just got to look at that starting 11 for Tata martino. I guess we should start with the negative. Because that's what we do here on football America. So what was the biggest problem for Tata martino tonight until the 80th minute? Well, guys, I think that the Martina underestimated the Jamaican team or probably overestimated what that starting 11 he thought was able to do because Mexico was completely in operan when you considered how he thought the team should have played. And there were many problems along the first half. When the game was 11 V 11, it was actually sort of an even game. Yes, Mexico created a lot of chances, but I would say once Jamaica saw that red card and they had to play 50 plus minutes with ten men to just got tired of chasing the ball and chasing the Mexican players once Tata martino brought in fresh legs. The airline is great man. I thought of you all along the second half because the ego Linus was again a difference maker. And Alexis Vega who was actually really good during the game. Was those fresh legs were there. It was Mexico's game. That's how they were able to turn that result around, but very, very concerning performance. And again, you do, you mentions that pieces will talk about in a moment, but the way that the martino celebrated both goals, I thought Mexico had won the World Cup, but that just speaks volumes of how much pressure is feeling because Eric is right. That's an out was actually trending during the game. That's how bad the audience, the media was perceiving Mexican states tonight. I got to tell you, I was thrilled and he didn't wait to bring in the other Linus either, huh? He got to the other line to turn it. It was like break the emergency glass. What did we say? Diego Linus is productive. Very much so. He's very much productive. I don't mean goals. I'm talking about changing the way his team plays on the Mexican national team he's proven it. How surprised were you to see why the other one that's starting 11? Very surprised alongside actor rare because if there's no Edson or you're taking away the guy who essentially protects the back line and protects those two. So you don't put it in a guy like Charlie the Rodriguez if it's a guardado and if it's Herrera, two guys who are the other side of 30, what you need to do is protect them as well. You don't play both of them away against Jamaica, physically are gonna out man you in the midfield, physically are gonna outman you when it comes to running hunting when it comes to being more physical. It was just head scratching when I saw. So the Jamaica goal in this match comes from a set piece. As we said in the highlight, there's no surprise. There's no surprise there. For Mexico, mal, what do you think is the bigger worry coming out of this match from Mexico that it took 80 minutes to finally get that two gold breakthrough or the fact that we're still here months, months, maybe even years later we should say, still talking about.

"Speaking of eterno, for something so historic like Atlas winning their first title since 1951, we had no choice, but to bring a guest with the quality with the weight of maoris Cho pedrosa, who joins us here on football and made us welcome as always to the show, now. What's up, boys? Happy to be here. On such a historic occasion no less. So let's dive right into it. The Atlas goal and now the controversy surrounding it because you of all people have been having on Twitter all day. He thinks Aldo Rocha was offside. Plus, plus, you're upset about how the VAR handle this. So what do you think? Is that less the beneficiary here of some poor officiating or what? Yes, absolutely a 100%. They did benefit a lot for many controversial decisions. Not only during the final, but going way back to the regular season, their clash against monterrey and then some controversial decisions also against Leon and the first match. Now that doesn't mean that they're not the serving champions. I believe they earned it and rightfully so they were the better team but you know how in many other sports like baseball football NBA, we always ask ourselves the question is there an asterisk attached to the championship and to me, I believe that at least we need to have the conversation. Is there a little asterisk that we need to add whenever we talk about this championship again? The answer to me is, yes, because every single controversial decision when in favor of Atlas, but again, that doesn't mean that they're not the rifle winners of the league. My man, whatever you're sipping, I want some, 'cause that is crazy to me. Are we not gonna just for a second, point out the obvious that the number two overall see the best defensive team in all of Mexico gave up ten regular season goals? 5 in the 6 series. I mean, 20, 23 games, 15 goals given up, one of the best offensive teams outplayed every single opponent..

"Barcelona Espana taking on Granada and what a goal, this was that opening the scoring pedrosa just hits this beautifully from the corner and we see this go wrong so often yeah and Tom McDonald said why would you try this? It's not gonna work. Why would you waste the corner on this? This is why. I hits it perfectly, beautifully to the back of the net, espanol and one nothing. And then with three minutes ago in the first half it's two now. Oh my goodness, picture perfect. I mean, what about for a header? Back across the goalkeeper with peace and a bottom corner. Absolute textbook. Dayton asked for the winner to give espanol the victory by two goals to nil. Meanwhile out of it is against Levante being struggling, haven't they? So far, this season. And we take it into the 13th minute, lovely ball over the top. It's a lovely header from the fructose. Why is it people coming up? Sees where the goalkeeper is and says, you know what? Fine, I'll do the flick on the header. One nothing. 15 minutes to go in the game. Oh. It's the fruit sauce with the foul. It feels very pessimistic. It must be because we've been listening to this. I mean, what is the defender thinking about here? It has to know. It has to know the opposition guys, yeah. Jose Luis steps up. Some drama never some drama. No issues though. 8 minutes ago, Levante looking for the winner, the ball comes through to Danny Gomez who's denied by the goalkeeper. Yeah he's unfortunate, he has the end up with such a tough angle to beat the keeper. It's actually a good shave in the end. And we take it then to stoppage time 91st minute. It's just not been going Levante's way so far this season. It's a lovely header from Jose ludo. It's a good crossover thing. But still it has to generate power because there isn't enough power coming from the cross to generate power, direction, and again winner for another. Indeed, so Levante remain rock bottom level on points with a meanwhile outfit win for espanol, put some up into the top ten. Let's head to Italy, shall we? We saw today Atalanta with a two one victory away from home special winning against Torino, but the big talk of was the Juventus against Fiorentina, what that means for you may, momentarily, of course, because a lot of the big boys in action on Sunday means that they move up to the mic skills at 8. In the table. Let's welcome in that shall we? A gavi got they left it.

"But i would say that his body position is more of a hybrid of past and present writers. He doesn't sit up quite as far as someone like colin edwards. Who was really for me. The last of the old school riders in terms of style. But i would compare him to like dany pedrosa especially early dani pedrosa in all sort of been speaks. He's got a little bit of that elbows flare going on there. He gets his chin right up over the windscreen and canada shoves his elbows out. It's very ben speeds like you know. Dami probably would've looked exactly the same way. Except he was too short to get his elbows out there too far And of course that style worked out pretty well for daily petrosa. So i would say it's still possible to be fast to mow. Gp without your shoulders dragging on the pavement. He certainly proof of that. A by lester wondered how hard it is for. Young riders to learn silverstone and the reason that violator brought that up is because of our discussion on the pre ratio where there are so many writers who really didn't have any or hardly any moto. Gp experience at silverstone because so many races have been cancelled over the past couple of years there. And i mean joe amir we talked about this on the pre ratio. His last race at silverstone last weekend was emoto three some that prompted him to wonder how well young riders learned to track like silverstone where they may be having seen it hardly at all and mapped it out in numbers and of course i love numbers And the numbers you posted are kind of interesting because there's a wide variety of results. Some of them not surprising that guys like mark and valentino danny petrosa dwell in their first ever ride around silverstone. Although i'm assuming that you may have just done entire british gp which means donnington as well before two thousand ten for a few of those guys because rossi and producer they rode their first british gp at donnington But there are fair amount of riders. They're more recent ones that did start their motor. Gb career at silverstone with middling or even bad results. And i think that would be characteristic of a lotta tracks. I think if you met that out for every track you would find a similar variety of some writers doing really well and some writers not so much. It's really far. More of a tossup for a motive gp writer their first time around especially when a motogp bike because it varies by rider and their method and some riders just seemed to get along better with some tracks and some have very unique way of learning a new track. The first time they get to it. I mean some of you may know that. Ben speeds for instance he used to look at attract map and then figure out. What kind of animal look like so phillip island for instance looked like a kitten lying on. Its back so then he would go out there and just visualize writings. motorcycle around. The giant kitten laguna seca. T. rex going wrong and so on and so forth all right. Those of you who've been around long enough to know exactly what i'm talking about but those who don't all you have to do is go to youtube and type in the ben speeds method and then enjoy by the way that's the second been speeds reference in like the last three minutes. Anyway all right. Let's get back to the race here. andreas asked a very simple question about the marc marquez. Where he martina incident which we didn't talk about too much on the post ratio. What would have happened. If that had been joined. Zarko that run into where. Hey martine instead of marquess. And i think that's a fair point because if that had been showing zarco with his history and his reputation absolutely bene- penalty in the end. But i do think that race direction absolutely would have announced to everybody that the incident was under review at the very minimum. But we talked about this the couple of weeks ago. I think it was the more famous the more successful. You are the more leeway. Get especially if you don't have that reputation that somebody likes arco has and that's not a knock against mark saying that he did something shady and got away with it. I mean he himself admitted after the race he messed up and he was way too fast into the corner. Not expecting that martin would be there some. It was a mistake. But if that is arco way more of a chance that there's some sort of response from the stewards at the very least to review. Maybe some sort of penalty in the next round. Which of course would have been this weekend at aragon as side note. Andreas also loved the fact that there were six manufacturers in the top six slots he says. Hey that's good stuff for the show and you're absolutely right. It is good for competition and it certainly makes things more fun for me to talk about for all of us to talk about when there are more riders capable of finishing at the front. Battling for a podium. Us biotech said that he was pretty sure. The petco bag is disappointing. Showing it silverstone was probably down to the tires. He got an alpha octane. Said the petco. One hundred percent agree posting link where he said that the retiree got was the compound he thought was best the soft but the particular tire he was issued by michelin was not good and the bike was sliding from him in the corners He then pointed to some other riders and other instances where the michelin's have been inconsistent saying that. That was the cause of jack. Miller's problems in austria and valentino rossi and silverstone also complained. Obviously the tires aren't all complete. Junk right i mean someone won the race and that someone believe had soft- software attire three guys finished on the podium and none of those guys were complaining about tire so michelin can make a tire. That's capable of performing well making it to the end of the race but that doesn't mean that consistency can be an issue here and the problem is that's an issue that's really hard to track down because if there are consistency problems. You really don't know about it until they happen until you're the one in a race and the tires just aren't working. The way they had the rest of the weekend michelin obviously is going to be a little bit defensive about this. There aren't necessarily going to admit that problems do exist and admit that there's a chance you could get a crap tire for the race but it is something to watch for the rest of the season and see if it does affect anybody else now. The good news is that michelin dibba respond. A few weeks back in austria. Remember when miguel olivera had those chunking problems and they were placed. That speck of tire didn't help me gal in that race i mean it was too late for him but at least they are responding. It just remains to be seen if these are isolated incidents or if it's something that's going to crop up again and that kind of prompted jose to say. Hey the solution here is simple modo. Gp just needs more than one tire manufacturer. Now for those who haven't been around a long time. It's been one manufacturer for a while. Can't remember exactly the two thousand twelve. I can't remember exactly how long it was before michelin was bridgestone. Before that tire wars man everything was open and to go back there a bit of a pandora's box now. I don't necessarily disagree. Because in addition to petco back ni- being upset after silverstone with the tires we've seen ktm struggle with the fronts. That are too soft. And you know i would think that valentine rossi would say things haven't been the same for him. Since the manufacturer switched from bridgestone is a single tire supplier to michelin now. The advantage of bringing back more tire manufacturers even just.

"An incident in that corner. That was pretty much spurred on by the fact that the following rider the second rider involved couldn't see the first bike lying down on the track. No that doesn't explain the maverick in yellow situation which was just weird and the zarko morbidelli situation. Which again was just weird. There aren't too many things you could do. The prevent those when it comes to those turn three incidents there absolutely is something that could be done Twisted lizard already brought up the marquez. Spago run-ins but she had another question. Should marquess have been penalized now. Like i said before that rule is definitely sliding one and marks past success certainly buys him the benefit of at least some doubt jeb race is also right in saying and this is something that we talked about a little bit earlier to that being the first lap of the race that grants even further leeway because riders are jockeying at that point. They're close together. There's going to inevitably be some sort of contact and like you said twisted lizard bringing up the fact that al h didn't wreck that factors in favorably for mark as well then when you take all of that and you throw in the overhead shot. No i don't think he should have been penalised. But i do like the idea of the dashboard message because they can hand that out. Pretty liberally and pretty easily. It's kind of like the track limits warning where you know if your favorite writer were the biggest writer in the sport has to do a fanatic lap. You're kind of upset if he gets a black flag year little upset if he gets a penalty that drops down three seconds. You're kind of upset but the warning. You're like oh well. They told them. But it's not that big of a deal yet. So i think that's going to help at least a little bit when it comes to situations like that bar. Twelve fifty g s mentioned dani. Pedrosa in last weekend's race. I really didn't mention danny too much. Just a little bit at the very end of the post-race show. He did do a fantastic job. He finished ahead of a lot of guys. And i for one am kind of a little bit bombed that he isn't doing both austrian rounds. I think it would have been very interesting to see him. Have second go at the same track just a few days after his first race to adjust and kind of get used to being back in competition. I think he could have had another top ten if that had been the case but he did a great job. I'm soggy wombat. Posted a tweet are eight. You've got to go see this. I'm right if you haven't yet. He posted a tweet from maverick fan. Y'all as is dad on hell suggesting during the race suggesting that yamaha was somehow sabotaging then yalla's last sunday now outside of the fact that if they were gonna sabotage him with a clutch that was impossible to modulate. They were gonna do that for the first start because how were they. There was going to be another red flag. I mean even at the red bull ring so it would have been a pretty complex and complicated plan that would have required some sort of psychic ability to know. That's how things were going to work out and then have that clutch ready to put into the bike. After the first start which was actually really really good. Probably his best started the season and he said that himself. I mean that was coming. Straight from maverick. It was his best start of the season. So i don't know how having your best start of the season is a precursor to your team. Sabotaging you so. That's patently ridiculous. I don't understand. Why on earth. He would've ever tweeted. That atta was super embarrassing for everybody. Involved and brian wondered how many track limits violations. We're going to see this upcoming weekend. He set the over under twelve for all three classes. If you're talking about actually running phonology laps like you've done your five. You've gotta take the long lap. I'm gonna take the under twelve but if you just mean how. Many riders are going to get the track limits warning on their dashboard after three and fractions of. That's the case. I am hard on the over. In fact i went to double down on the over when it comes to that one way more than twelve. But if you're talking about actually running the long lap or being told to have to run the long thing maybe two or three over the weekend but a lot of riders are going to get the warnings. I'll let's move on to some other stuff. Campbell's era one in response to our discussion last week about the idea of a super bowl in qualifying kind of way to curtail all of the hijinks people cruising in sessions especially moto three. He posted a link to an article by mad oxley. Who was fantastic. By the way and that talk to a former rider your vanderberg who suggested that the motor three debacle. All comes down to the bike's gearing. He said the teams are gearing. Their bikes really tall in fifth and especially in sixth gear specifically doing it to play for the slipstream to give them extra room under the rev limiter to get into the slipstream. Go faster at the expense of some power in that cure but it only works in the slipstream because six gear is so tall. The guy in front put down enough power to keep up with the guys behind him who using his wake in that. Toss skier to max out their top speed. And that leads to huge packs of riders jockeying back and forth going into turns at the end the straights. Because they're all getting that slipstream off the guy behind them and he said it's pretty much a requirement that you have to get a tow to qualify well because the gearing on the bike won't allow you to go that fast with the horse power that the engine is making so his solution is simple limit. The gearing on the top end and a majority of the madness goes away now. Obviously this guy totally knows what he's talking about far more than i.

"All of the different parts all right so here. We go the rundown just about everything. We're gonna talk about on this episode of the show. We're going to start with some motor. Gp news and it is official cow. Crutch slow is coming back to the grid starting in austria for at least three races and he could be super valuable. The yamaha here but he won't be in. I'll tell you why. Then we'll talk about jonathan ray. The rumors have started up again that he could becoming to mow gp. I'll give you my opinion. We'll talk about what ray himself had to say. And then try to figure out the real situation is there but for garrett girl off it looks like motor. gp is not on the immediate horizon. He just signed a new world superbike contract. We'll talk about what that means. What yamaha's remaining rider options look like. Then we'll dive into your comments on danny pedrosa on franken morbidelli the army of dukakis. That will be on the grid next season and a whole lot more. Then we'll wrap up with some fixing video before moving onto part three of the moto week mid season review. We'll talk about some of the top riders emoto to and moto three. And if you're not a big fan of those series of you don't watch on a regular basis that's fine. There's still something in for you because some of these names in fact the majority of the names we're gonna talk about. You're going to get familiar with sooner or later in the premier class. You can find out about them now. And then you'll see him in the next year to all right so let's dive into the moto. Gp news and the big story of this off week on the verge of coming back to racing in australia. Cal crisslow is coming back to motor gp now permanently of course but with garrett karloff busy over in world superbike next weekend yamaha has officially made the call to cal to be their film rider in both australian rounds and then after that he will make a triumphant return to the british gp at silverstone which is going to be awesome for both him and the fans especially for the fans after that. Well it remains to be seen if cal's gonna continue on at arrogance since there's a gap there. Franken morbidelli is tentatively slated to return at misano. My guess is they're leaving. Aragon open at this point to give frankie kind of window in case it turns out he can come back early. Plus you never know. They may be leaving that arrogant weekend. Open for somebody else to get a shot on the bike with this constantly. Changing situation at yamaha and since world superbike is not an action arrogant weekend. Maybe we see gurkha off back. Maybe we see another world superbike rider coming over to take a test run on a petronas yamaha to see how they like it. Maybe you know if they want to leave their six and or seven world superbike championships behind to come to mow. Gp we'll talk about that in a minute. Though of my guess is that is why. They're leaving that arrogant weekend. Open to give them a little bit more flexibility when it comes to either franko coming back early or having somebody else step in or they could just in the end extent calcium by one more race and have him do four rounds instead of three but i can understand why the schedule is like it is because garrett girl off not available for the first austrian round. There's only a week between those two races. So if you're gonna put cal on the bike for the first one it just makes a lot of sense to have him also do the second race that way he can stay there. The bike settings don't change. They can continue to develop it from the first weekend to the second weekend. And then if you're yamaha you can't ask how to do both austrian rounds and then have him sit right after that for the british cheap that would just simply be mean to ask them to do to film races and then not allow him to do his home round when the bike is still open at that point so i think that's why they made the announcement initially and then we'll find out what's going to happen in aragon over these next three or four weeks. The new story start to develop now. The good news here for yamaha is now. They've got their official test rider. Getting some quality time in the saddle to evaluate the bike against the competition under race conditions. Very similar to what. Danny petrosa is doing next weekend with his wildcard. Start the bad news. Is that unlike the situation with pedrosa where he can you know. Take a shot at the latest bike and the latest equipment against the competition when it comes to cal while the motorcycle is going to be evaluating isn't gonna do yamaha much good since. He's filling in for franco morbidelli. That means he's got to ride frankie's bike. That of course is the a spec bike which is really just a heavily modified two thousand nineteen model so once again yamaha shoot themselves in the foot with the decision to be stingy with their current. Your bikes when it came to franken morbidelli. Because not only. Can frankie been getting results for them on the latest bike up until this point but more importantly with franco hurt. Since all the way back in france cal could have been helping them sort out that factory bike for the next three races. Which would hopefully then provide some benefit to fabio yaro any very detached. Maverick penola now with cal. Getting this three race stint if he does well. You know what's coming next. People are gonna start asking questions are going to say. Is this the test. Is this the precursor to a return to the grid. Full-time for cal. Next season with petronas. Well i don't think that's likely although i will say at this point we're getting so close to a legend series just on the regular bread with danny and cal coming back in the next race and valentino already out there. I say why stop. Now i mean let's callum petronas spike and on the other one. Well we could. Maybe i don't know. Put another thirty plus ryder. They just have to decide who. And they have a lot of riders to choose from me and andre the ceo. So he's very eligible bachelor right now. I'm sure if they went to her hayler enzo. He jumped at the chance to get back on the bike. Even though he's i'm sure very out of shape although maybe they could stray outside of motor. Gp because the rumors have officially begun once again for the fifteenth time about a multi. Time world superbike champion. That's right jonathan ray. Could he be headed to petronas omaha in twenty twenty to think about that. I could have cal and jonathan race side by side. It would be like the thirty plus club. All they have to do is find a way to keep valentine rossy. They put him on the maverick fan. Y'all is by there you go. I mean think about that for a minute. Their.

That's a really great point about one of my phone. got stolen. Barcelona like everything largely was replaceable. Except for two or three months. Befuddles that i did not back up. I haven't had a chance of back to the phone. So that's a really great advice. The grit suggestion looking for alternative sources. I use club. You downloaded in profiles in settings general settings You can delete that and then Run update again and that will usually get back to the normal Version of irs without Without having to reboot your whole thing do the race content and settings thing. But if you're really in bad shape you might have to do the erase content settings and start fresh. Cut it well Super helpful. I know like you said for folks who are willing to live dangerously. This is coming out. The official version comes out the fall. Yeah so usually around iphone time Usually a week after the event or a week before the week of the the actual new iphone. You'll have the opportunity to upgrade the new version. Even then we usually say on your new device like don't do it on the first day that's also living dangerously. Wait a week like just to seek. Sometimes the world out in it'll brick certain phones or certain devices are some that have certain settings or certain apps installed or whatever and so you know. It's usually safe to wait at least a week. Let let some of that get sorted out in the first kind of point update to become out in then and then. You're a little safer.
