"We go the rundown just about everything. We're gonna talk about on this episode of the program we don't have a whole lot of motor. Gp news but that's where we're going to start because ktm scores another talented rider and they're also promoting their moto three phenom as well so we'll talk about the new guy that's coming in and i think you all pretty much know already who's going to get promoted. Of course pedro cost. But we'll talk a little bit about a cost to moving up tomato to and the upside and the downside of that move Then dive into your comments on maverick in y'all s returning this weekend with the provia. We'll talk about andre. Co so the world superbike controversy. Jonathan ray and whether he should be mo- gp in a whole lot more then we'll wrap up the comments with some picks and video that were posted over the past couple of days on reddit. And we're going to dive into this weekend's round aragon the full preview 'em pecs for round thirteen of the motogp championship there are gone. Gp of course in northeastern spain. We'll talk about the track. We'll talk about my favorites about some other writers. I'm going to be watching this weekend. Then of course. I'll make the picks right so let's get into the mode. Gp news now and there was really one major and one minor announcement. Neither of which directly impact smo- gp this point. But it very well could impact motor gp in the future as ktm's scores another dynamic duo for their moto two team in twenty twenty two now of course their roster this year emoto to remmy gardner and raul fernandez of course both moving up to the kt moto three squad emoji p next season so a two free seats. Pierce a shocker. Ktm made the official announcement a couple of days ago. That pedro kosta is indeed headed to moto two with hose rebel sponsor team after the season that he's had so far in moto three and championship prospects. I really can't imagine you're anybody for that matter. Surprised by that announcement. Yes he is still gonna be seventeen years old at the start of next season and that is really really young. I mean even by moto to standards and so there's some risk there i would say because even with as good as he's been emotive three. He's still super young and you don't know how he's gonna react to increasing responsibility that quickly between classes especially since it puts him on a prime track to get to moto gp. Before he's even twenty years old. I mean think about that for a minute. Nine that a costa's excelled at every single level that he's been up to this point but you have to admit that there is a little bit of risk a little bit of concern promoting somebody that young with that small amount of experience on the world stage. Now that being said. I just don't know what he's got left to learn a moto three. We've talked about him. The season his strengths weaknesses. His biggest weakness at this point seems to be calculating his strategy in the slipstream. But that's not going to be a big deal emoto to and it certainly not going to be a big deal emoji p like it is in modo three so if there's one skill that it's okay for him the lag behind a little bit in the slipstream if he's going to be moving up to a bigger class and if the idea here is to get pedro kosta to mow. Gp as quickly as possible. Which i think it probably is then getting him on a bigger bike right away is definitely the right choice because there's going to be a lot to learn and it might take him a little bit to learn it and do a caution everybody that i don't know if pedro cost is going to get on the motorbike and instantly be as good as he is right now. Emoto three and i'll explain why because the classes that he's coming from the junior levels are much much closer in size power in strategy to a moto three bike then anything he's written has come to a motorbikes so this is a pretty big leap and we've already established at the league. Promoted to motor p. Isn't all that big anymore. So the leap from moto. Three to moto two. That's where you're bridging the gap and that's where there could be a little bit of layoff between what he's doing right now motive three and motoo not saying he won't be good saying it could take half a season for him to really get to that point where he starts impressing us again now. Obviously there are exceptions to the roll. Roll fernandez would be one of those exemptions to the role and i mean if anybody has the chance to do what fernandez has done in his rookie season and motoo. It certainly is pedroia kosta. But i don't think we can necessarily bet on like if i was a betting person. I want to see a couple of races. I before i lay my money down on pedroia kosta only because of the size of the jump from moto three tomato to one way or the other though. It's the right move. It's their move the cates. He really had no choice but to make i mean because otherwise somebody was going to come along and get pedro kosta. So you've gotta move them up and while that is surprising no-one. Ktm's second rider selection for their motoo team is a little bit of an eye-opener because the rider beside him next season nacho me mafia like maybe kind of expected based on his potential and threes results have been inconsistent but the speed is there when he's having a day but instead of macedonia instead they're going with augusto fernandez who they've signed away from mark. Vs where he was. Sam lowes teammate. Or is sam. Lowes team this year. And i imagine that they did this because a ktm doesn't have enough. Fernandez is already. They a really sad about losing their so they went out and got another one Embiid they wanna make sure that nobody else gets any young talent at the lower levels to develop without you know paying them of course and i really liked this. Agusto is a solid get for. Kate's consistencies has main problem. But speed is not and we've seen that out of him this year and the thing about that is consistency. Is the easier of those qualities to learn if you got somebody who's fast and they're making mistakes. We can get him to stop making mistakes if they never make mistakes but they're super slow. Who knows if he can make them fast. Augusta fernandez says not have speed problem. His twenty twenty subpar. But it's two thousand. Nineteen despite the inconsistencies of course proved that he's able to be fast and this year he really started to hit his groove after that rough first-half with mark vvs. So there is a ton of potential here and i thought that he might be able to take the step up to the next level racing side by side with sam lows but i expected lows to be thoroughly in this championship..

"At patriots dot com slash mode weak links to all of those or on the website. So if you forgot one of them already. You weren't writing them down as i was saying very quickly. Just go to moto week dot net. You can find all of the links there all right. So let's get things started with our discussion of moto three. It's gonna kick off here just a couple of seconds all right. let's get our discussion of the austrian. Gp officially underway. And trust me. I want to skip straight to moto. Gp too but there's a lot of great stuff that happened in the class is so we'll get our conversation underway with what happened in the first race of the day. Emoto three and last week we saw a great one on one battle between the top two guys in the championship. Pedro costa's sergio garcia. But this week's moto. Three race was an absolute thriller with everything. You'd normally expect inamoto three race. We had elite pact. Not a huge lead pack. It was about five to eight bikes at any given time. But there was a pack slipstream passes on just about every straight guys going three sometimes four wide into the big corners at term one and term. Three which i met maybe a little nervous at a few points especially when guys were dive bombing deterrent three but we got all of the stuff that we were missing in the styrian. Gp in this motor three race on sunday and a classic boring fashion. It all came down to the final two corners. Now i have to say. I was a little bit frustrated in this race with the world. Lead commentary because they have. And we've talked about this before they had this really strange love fest going on with ramona phonology and so for the majority of the race. They were so focused on romano on what he was doing that they really weren't paying. I think as much attention as they should have to. How impressive denison chew looked at the front and just how hard. Sergio garcia was fighting the entire way in this one to stay with and get past pedro costume game valuable valuable championship points. And for me. Those two guys were the most impressive in this race so it's kind of unsurprising that the battle did in the end. Come down to onto and garcia in the final two corners and for sergio garcia. I mean not just a heart bought race but what a big big victory for him in this one you know after wrecking in that final run to the flag last week. Battling pedro and the second to last turn. Sergio was clearly on a mission to redeem himself in this one and he did exactly that he's started thirteenth race embattled with just about everyone in the lead pack at some point but he was locked on pedroia cost staying close to him trying to get by him in every single time he got bounced back in the running order. Garcia would strike back in the next slipstream trying to stay as close to the thirty seven as possible and that strategy worked out great as it had the beneficial side effect of putting him in perfect place to make a move in the closing laps and he just went for it. I mean you can never play it safe and moto three or you're going to get past but garcia had the right move plan at the right time. Winning by the narrowest of margins point zero two seven seconds at the line. We'll talk about the championship picture here in moment. But i'll admit that i really didn't think guardia. Had a legit shot here because of his inconsistency throughout his motor three career. But he's really putting things together right now and he had a few bumps in the road early on the season but since then five podiums in the last seven races. Three of those are wins. The rest are second place results. If he can keep that up he actually has a chance here now. I mean it's got to keep on winning. If he wants to stay with the guy like pedroia kosta but if he keeps riding the way he is right now. I could totally see him right now being in the championship picture. All the way down to valencia. Now the artery beat may not win the race buffer the nissan chew. He certainly was riding harder than anyone else. On track sunday He qualified on the pole. He was hopeful that he finally be able to get his first win and he absolutely road like he wanted it he was laid on. The brakes. impressively so intern one. He had great drive out of turn three allowing multiple times to strike back when he got passed in the slipstream and he was looking so strong in the closing laps. I wasn't really sure if anybody was going to be able to challenge him. And i'll tell you. Even though he lost out in the end it was still the youngsters best race ever emotive three and one that will definitely leave him and ktm convinced that he can race with the top riders in the sports. It was an excellent effort. Excellent race for him. Yeah i know he would rather one but this is still a really really good result for him in tech three team. I'm speaking of excellent efforts in this race. How about the other dennis. Dennis foggia mean. This entire race was dominated by the various ktm brands. But just outside of. I think it was about ten laps to go. The honda trio of darren bender. John mcfee the petronas guys along with fausia briefly latched onto the back of that lead. Pack and those three foggia was the only one that managed to stay there and then he made a daring set of moves on that final lap. Passing pedro kosta on the second to last turn to get himself in honda. A completely unexpected podium and of course for foggia continues his wildly up and down season..

"His idea is that it would be a really good way to combat all of the craziness with everybody looking for a tow and all of the penalties get handed out at the lower levels especially and we might see more of that this weekend by the way. Because we've got a couple of big straights But the idea that bart was throwing out there is your replaced. Q one and q two those time two sessions with actual races so the cuban guys go out there. They have a short race. Top two riders transfer into q. Two they have another race and that sets the field. And there's no time for messing about or you know following another rider all the way through the pits and back out on the track Because the lobster counting down. And you've got this one shot now. I like the general. I'm not quite sure that at this point four moto. Gp it's the thing to do. Because we've only had a few instances of guys like marquez. Rossi really looking for some help. And sometimes that was okay with the other rider sometimes. Not so much maverick. Fan y'all's but when it comes to moto three. I think that would be fantastic idea. I mean if the motor three guys have one shot and they know they have to go all out will not only would it get rid of a bunch of the hijinks out there. But we also wouldn't then have to see fast riders starting from the back of the grid or from pit lane because honestly. Nobody wants to see that. Nobody wants to see the guys who have the best shot of winning the race. Start on pit lane because they were stupid and they shot themselves in the foot. I mean yeah. Was there a vault. I understand that. But i still would rather have a better race with starting up at the front. And so in that instance. I think that qualifying races i think a super bowl of some sort emotive three would be the best idea or close to it now. Dorna may see that as being too close to world superbike informat or they might feel it would look bad in with motor. Gp having the copy sbk to solve one of their big problems. But i don't see it that way especially when it comes to moto two and really really moto three. I think it would be good to try motor three and then if it works consider maybe moving it up to mobutu and then maybe one day up to mow. Gp i'm it's it's we're on the topic of taking ideas from world superbike. Dj said that the writers on the gp side of the spectrum that in his opinion they need to look at world superbike as more of a lateral move as opposed to a step down any wonders. Why more motoo riders. Don't make the switch over superbikes when they aren't able to cut it in motor gpa. Or make it to motor. Gp and there absolutely is i would say perception among riders on the gp side and indeed among the fans that world superbike as a whole is a step down from all of the classes motor. Gp motoo and moto three. And that's a shame in the part about that. That really doesn't make a whole lot of sense is that we've already seen in the past multiple modo. Jp riders continue their careers in world superbike and be successful and win championships and nobody looks down on those guys. Nobody says oh well. Carlos check on a championship was in superbikes. And nobody looks down at max. Piaget's world superbike championship trophy. I don't think he does you know but yet when you're talking about you know riders who aren't able to make it out of motoo. It never crosses their mind or they have to like begrudgingly. Consider the idea of maybe world superbike and even a lot of writers that have a spot emoto gp after they have for a couple of years really resist the idea of moving to world superbike and that. That's kinda strange. It's kinda strange that we don't see more motive to riders. Take that route not necessarily in an effort to simply take a detour. Demoted gp but more as an alternative to get to the top levels of horsepower competition when there are no seats available emoji p. And don't look like they're going to be opportunities in the premier class and it will be a two way street. I mean it would inject a boost of excitement into speak as well as young talent that has built a name and to comes to that series to test themselves against jonathan ray and all of the other great writers that are already there but i do think to kind of get back to your initial question of. Why are these motoo riders. Really not. consider this. I think it is the fact that most of these motoo. Riders are very young. Ambery talented i think. That's what makes them shy away from a move to someplace like world superbike or super sport. The goal for them has always been modo. Gp and i would imagine that they think. Hey i'm still young another year. I'll get an opportunity. I'll get a breakthrough and i'll make it to the next level and they don't want to miss that opportunity by being in another series and being in a series where not that. Many riders have successfully the switch to the premier class. And so i think the fear there is that you know. I'm okay emoto to. I go to world superbike and i start winning races and i look incredibly competitive and now i'm wondering would this same thing have happened. Had i stayed motoo for another season because if it had a one racism that compete for a championship. I almost certainly would have gotten an offer to move the moto. Gp so maybe by moving the world. Superbike i have real ind my chases. I did too soon one year too soon. I should have waited one year longer. And i think that whole idea of i should have waited one year longer. Should have waited one year longer. I think that's what keeps those riders clinging onto a motor to ride. That may not even be that good as opposed to going to a much more competitive world superbike ride and feeling like maybe they made the decision at exactly the wrong time and missed out as a result. That's my best guess. But i would imagine that's happened on more than one occasion on and then finally mr t. Had to get a poll in on right it a bit of a fantasy question about what the biggest surprise of twenty twenty one could be while a few of those options were wear out their ideas like cow or danny winning this weekend and then coming back for a full schedule in two thousand twenty two they would be. The biggest surprise of one of those types of things happened technically but of the more realistic surprise stories. That could potentially happen in two thousand twenty one other majority picked ally chicago winning on the apprecia- as the biggest potential shocker of the year and that definitely would be a surprise. Even given a police improvement this season. Personally i picked pedroia kosta going the motor. Gp which is not entirely impossible. But i think the kt and would be a lot smarter than that so it would be very very surprised. If we got an announcement that a cost it was gonna move directly to the premier class for twenty twenty two. I'm all right. So that's a wrap up the comments who picks and video that were posted on reddit last week. We'll start with supermodel. Six twenty one now. He works in a motorcycle shop. And those guys in. It's a great looking motorcycle shop to and those guys did a crazy custom ride in their shop that drew a variety of opinions both positive and negative. It's a custom indian that apparently they did for the ceo of tiffany and company. And that's a big big deal and you guys nailed the color. I mean for better for worse. That is tiffany blue for sure. Even down to the stitching on the saddle which by the way was really nice. Touch on and there was so much. Intricately engraved silver all over that bike which she said was custom from a guy. In spain that they commissioned all those works from and by the way i would not wanna be the one to polish all of that silver and keep it from tarnishing but the star of the show for me on that bike. Definitely the exhaust. Those curves are super cool. Very nice lines and is a very retro. Take on the end of the exhaust pipe. So the exhaust for me was the coolest part of that bike The real j. k. Seven was checking in for the first time on reddit. Thank you so much for joining the sub at really awesome. I'm anna classy way to start two posting a photo along a beautiful coastline in british columbia with three great standard bikes. You're along with. I want to say a cowie z. One thousand is that what that one in the middle is and cb are one thousand are. Those are good looking bikes. By the way that you don't hear much about those honda's on the new black edition that they came out with looks phenomenal. But i would take any one of those bikes on a nice long road trip along the coastline. I'm in speaking of standards with big stunk in motors. M fifty nine base. Man's brand new bike has just arrived. That's right new bike day. Is here congrats on the twelve..

"One other podium but also to finishes of tenth or lower three dns and an average finish of six point one not necessarily the stuff mo- jp legends at the moment Fabio already has the contract though so he doesn't have to race his way into a seat over the second half. What he does need to do is prepare for his upcoming promotion. And that means eliminating mistakes. He must eliminate the dns. He's got log as many laps as possible. And he's got to try to get more chances to get near the front and battle with the best riders and get on the podium just like zaki and raul fernandez as well. The title race is the bus for him at this point but some podiums are within reach that has to be his goal for the rest of the way. Get on the podium. Not just once but get on the podium multiple times from here on out then the final rider i wanna talk about is a bit of a surprise to me i ogura. This is a writer. I'm going to be watching very closely over the second half. Because he's following the much more traditional path in his motoo development. Along the lines of what. I thought we were gonna see out of fernandez this year but fernandez took off what a girl has been doing is hanging around the back of the top ten getting near the top five learning and getting better. And that's what girl is doing right now and i think he has a shot to get on the podium in the second half of the season and takenaka gami may want to also be keeping an eye on ogasawara over the next few races because talk. I'd have to look over his shoulder. Come twenty twenty three. If ogura keeps progressing the way that he has been because that means that there will be podiums in the second half for him and maybe even a shop for a win so those are the riders keeping my eye on emoto to for the second half of the season now. Let's talk about moto. Three in the lightweight class as usual has been frenetic and exciting all year long with fair amount of controversy tossed withhold track limits thing penalties for responsible writing and practicing qualifying but there is no question that the surprise of moto three and really the surprise of all of twenty one has been point leader. Pedro kosta who has been an absolute sensation to start the year as a rookie. Entering one of the most difficult and closest series in the sport pedro cost has four wins. Five podiums an average finish of three point six seven but more than that are the ways that acosta has won a couple of them coming from the middle of the grid. And of course the first one came from freaking pit lane. Start one of the most unlikely victories ever emoto three or in any class during the motor. Gpa era you toss in the fact that pedro hasn't had dns yet and it's no surprise that he has a comfortable lead in the ryder standings however despite the fact that he has been an absolute sensation and everybody is talking about him. That's not to say that there isn't some room for mr kosta to improve on inexperience in the slipstream has cost him a couple of podiums so far in the first half and qualifying qualifying has been a major weak spot for him as well so those are the two places where a cost needs to focus his attention the second half of the season and the more laps he can log and the more the nfc can avoid the quicker. He's gonna learn especially when it comes to dealing with the slipstream and making the right moves at the right times. Not despite that really. Don't see him slowing down much in the second half especially with five weeks to heal from getting banged up a little bit nassan. I don't know if the final half of the year is going to result in another four wins but there are certainly a few more victories in his future as well as multiple podiums. He's going to continue to be the writer. That is chasing the rest of the way emoto three consistency. That's going to be the thing that can win him the title this year if these consistent then he's going to be able to hold everybody off if he's not he can open the door for somebody like say sergio garcia who has been a pretty surprising second-place writer in the points this season now he's taken very well to switch from honda to the gas rebranded. Ktm bike scoring two wins three podiums and all of those have come in the last five rounds heading into the break so sergio is clearly gaining momentum and if pedroia kosta wasn't emoto three this year this'll be the writer that everybody was super hyped on heading into the second half and i'll have to keep doing that. He'll have to keep that momentum going plus a lot more if he wants chance to catch. Pedro cost any skinning some help as well Consistency is going to be critical for him to from here on out. I'm then we get some riders who we thought. We're going to be good this year but haven't really panned out starting with joma zia. Pedro costs teammate. Came into the season as one of the favorites. Any back that up by winning the opening round in qatar but much like sam lowes emoto to it. Kind of all went. Pete tong on him. After that i mean jonah was second mugello but a combination of inconsistency and multiple mistakes have taken him out of podium contention on several occasions leading to an average finish. Get this of nine point four this year. Not nearly enough to keep up with his teammate. In pedro kosta now jami says that his goal for the second half is to relax a little bit more and that should be an attainable one since the pressure is really off in the title race at this point He's got a surplus of talent and he's got the experience needed to get himself back on the podium and really back on the top step of the podium as well and i expect a far better performance out of him in the second half overall and i would not be surprised to see him battle. Pedro costs a few times. In fact i look forward to those two guys battling it out down the stretch just like. We're seeing emoto to with gardner enroll fernandez. I think we've got plenty of potential for some very exciting races between moscow and cost in those battles will be far more valuable for a kosta. Then they will for masa because you know if mossy abates pedro by one spot. It's not going to get him back into the title race. But for a cost about that would provide valuable experience against one of the best in the sport. emoto three. i'm so. I do expect jami mousa to run better in the second half. And he's not the only one john mcphee. I mean it's gotta get better for him right. I mean he pretty much had the worst luck. I think i can remember any rider. Having to start the season he got a punt it out by somebody else. In the first three races took himself out in the fourth and wallet has gotten a bit better since then his results are nothing like what mcphee expected coming out of last year. He's had four. Dns so far this season and an average finish of ten point two across the five races where. He's made it to the checkered flag. He should have a better second. Half can't get much worse right. And i expect at least a few podiums out of him and he could challenge for a win as well so john mcphee fans. Don't worry he's gonna do a little bit more than he did. In the first time races. I'm totski suzuki is another. I expect more from down the stretch. He's just had so many dwarfs since the final third of last season. The tally this year so far is four. Dns in an average finish of eight point six but going back to last season totski has had nine dns in the last fifteen rounds and zero podiums across that span for rider that is so talented and has so much promise. That's really really bad. I would expect him to do better. Going forward just avoiding. The mistakes is going to help him accomplish that and a podium or two would be a very attainable step in the right direction and honestly he desperately needs to get back on the box if he wants to continue on that six fifty eight say bike because policy celli has been ultra all patient with suzuki but that patients is gonna wear thin if he keeps doing what he's been doing over the past fifteen races or so..

"To kathi sells a fraction of the motorcycles around the world that's zouqi does and so there are a much smaller motorcycle company yet when they were given the opportunity to have three satellite teams and eight bikes on the grid. They jumped at the idea. But when suzuki had the opportunity to get one satellite team they went in the other direction. So i guess said not right or wrong. That's just what each one's priority is. And so i think that has a lot to do with suzuki being hesitant right now. Going forward. I think once they have a real replacement for wd brivio somebody from the european motor gp circle then. I think that there's going to be a much better chance that they finally bite the bullet and get a satellite team. Going forward moving on job rage made the argument that even though the popular opinion is the franco. Morbidelli is a shoo-in at factory yamaha for next year he's personally not one hundred percent convinced and huge numbers to back it up. And you know. I'm going to talk about it if he's a numbers. Because you guys know how much i love numbers but pointed out that while it might be impressive. How morbidelli finished second in the championship last year. But that was an unusual season. And i do agree with that. It doesn't necessarily mean he's following in the footsteps of abiocor toronto and as evidence of that judge sites that in two thousand nineteen when franco and fabio were on the most similar equipment that they've written the coiro finished fifth in the championship. That was fabio's rookie season while morbidelli was tenth and both of them were in their first year at yamaha at that point as well then last year frankie had the big surge finished second on a two thousand nineteen spec bike when everybody else at yamaha was struggling on the much more problematic twenty twenty spec and then you fast forward to this year where and franco are seemingly going in different directions. I mean morbidelli has struggled over the last four races. Coming away with zero points all the way up to the break or to asan where. He sat out before the break. And because of that you know judd said i was reading all these articles and hearing people talk about how it was maybe a slight to franken morbidelli lead that yamaha was approaching writers like row fernandez or miguel olivera which we know they talked to both or even somebody like pedroia kosta but that's not something that should be taken as a slight to franken morbidelli because he's allowed some question marks to be raised he hasn't really presented himself as heir-apparent moving forward and on that last point i'll totally agree i mean yamaha has to talk to any writer that they think they have a shot at getting. That's going to move the needle for them and while franken morbidelli and his team may not be terribly happy about that. They certainly have to understand that. If i'm yamaha picking up the phone. And i'm making sure that miguel olivera raul fernandez are not interested in moving over and that pedro pedroia cost isn't may be willing to make john or miss jumped. Totally shouldn't be making by the way. I'm or maybe even talking to somebody like jonathan bray. I mean the guy does have six titles. We talked about the reasons earlier. Why it's probably not the best idea for him to make the switch right now. But if you're yamaha you probably want to hear from him as much as he wants to hear from you. Knowing that there's an opportunity out there. Yamaha definitely wants to cast his wife annette as possible especially since they seem to be struggling to find guys who are interested in riding the bike but with that being said is franken morbidelli mirage. I don't think so. Franko has had some bad races this year. But the season-opener in qatar remember that was an issue with his rear whole shot device. Basically the poll rear shock failed on him then. There was the drastic in clearly noticeable drop-off in performance after his injury. The week lme. That was compounded by tweaking. Further in his flag the flag practice swap at that particular race and it is clear how much that injury affected him heading towards the break and in the pair of races inbetween that the buckling qatar. And all of the stuff that happened after the injury he did. Look like the frankie. That's worthy of moving up to the factory squad now. The problem is just didn't see a whole lot of that. Franken morbidelli because of those circumstances before and after and i think that's part of the reason. Why jeb rages wondering which franko is the real one. The one that we saw last year or the one that we saw the before that and we've seen so far this year and you know maybe yamaha's wondering the same thing and like i said last week. The biggest danger for franken morbidelli isn't yamaha just deciding that he's worthless and casting aside the biggest danger. Here is the fact that he's not on track to distract yamaha from those other writers who are outpacing expectations. This year like raul fernandez if broncos on the bike and he's not injured in. He's finishing on the podium. I mean yeah. Yamaha's calling raoul. But they're calling him not to maybe go up to the factory team the for the petronas ride but frankie's not out there to make yamaha forget about other writers as a potential person to fill the factory seat so ultimately i think the franco is far faster than his results. This year have shown. I think he's still the top candidate based on a couple of factors his performance potential while healthy his composure. Both on and off the bike in the fact that he's done so well on older bikes. And we've seen what fabio has been able to do on the latest stuff. I think franco being so promising on the two thousand nineteen spec leaves definitely some upward potential there. If he is the writer that gets moved up to the factory squad alongside coiro. I'm john also wondered. If yamaha should settle for someone who's likely going to play second fiddle to bobbio and again he's talking about franken morbidelli here but i don't think that's necessarily going to be a decider because if in this is a big f- if fabio quarrel performs to plan and becomes this perennial challenger for the title and to marc marquez. While than pretty much any of yamaha's choices that they have at their disposal right now are gonna play second to him next year. And if fabio struggles. Well then frankie certainly has the potential to pick up the slack at least as good as a majority of the riders whose names have kicked around in relation to that factory seat in there having been very many names that have been thrown out there so in the end. Whoever it is that they pick. I think that the upside of the best writer yamaha can find is gonna way heavier on their decision than the potential downside of a guy. Like frankie if that makes sense to anybody but me moving on soggy. Wombat found something online. That i thought would have never been created. It's a punk. Song about valentino rossi. And it's not really bad either mean. The band definitely knows at least a little bit about motor. Gp or the guy who wrote it and it has all of the hallmarks of a classic ramones style punk song..
