"Is listed at 61 to 60, but he can play. 30 on. He takes a strike three and one like I think he'd like that back Or at least in this 31 count again. That's kind of in the wheelhouse for the left. The typical when we talk about lefties like down and then it's not true to a man, but it seems like that's a real sweet spotted. It comes off the back. Very pretty. Unlike a right hander with that same pitch or two Dodgers bottom six And the 31 on the way you got a cutter. There, he bounced it Foul up the first base line. 3 to 4 seamer at 97 cutter at 93 94 slider in the high eighties mix. Blake tried it. A very good reliever is kind of like a tug of war. The Dodgers pull and they get to ahead and the Rays pull back and they get within one again. Back and forth. They've gone the race, trying to make some noise here in the bottom of the sixth down by a couple Needed first buy a Rose arena. With the shift on for the Dodgers, not going three to fouled back by Choi Pedro Bias is up in the bullpen now for the Dodgers sheriff continuing to throw for the Rays. Could be all kinds of questions marks tomorrow night about who's available. Who's fresh, based on how many guys may pitch in this game? It's all about tonight. Obviously, tonight more critical for the raise, but Dave Roberts knows as well. Taken back this win tonight. There's a really good chance that he's not at answering questions about who is number. His sixth starter is Game six. I should like to just close it up a CZ You said earlier, Jess. Great with that fake Her shot takes the ball game five. It's that.

"Of teams are looking for bullpen helps so the dodgers have got a lot of competitors for these young bullpen arms that they're looking for for late because everybody realizes and by the way the other piece of bad news for the dodgers Scott Alexander who's been really good for them. The last two years he is down for the foreseeable future with a nerve and thumb problem problem and so as Chris Taylor and Chris Taylor Chris Taylor has broken so he's going to be out four to six weeks A._J.. pollock has come back very strong now. They'll get Taylor back in time for the playoffs but even if you got Alexander back you didn't have those injuries. I don't know if he's your answer and I don't know various is your answer and one thing we Dylan Floros on the injured list and one thing we've noticed from these late innings even the games they win is they. Don't have a solid solid answer to a setup guy and to your point. Kenley is an automatic like he was four years ago and you know bullpens. It's not even how you pitch during the season. It's how you pitch in the postseason. People forget that <hes> Joe Kelley almost almost missed the there was a debate about whether or not Joe Kelley should be on the Boston Red Sox postseason and then he just mowed down the dying man he was just a one man wrecking crew once we got there and Joe Kelley has pitched better of late. I've no faith in Jimmy Garcia. I have their arms down there. Pedro bias has been by the way Pedro bias has been one of their most solid arms right but I don't think he's the answer if if we go into the postseason with Pedro buys the closer I'm worried every night now. If you go into the season and you have I think Kenley Jansen going to remain the closer but how about this though if you go into the playoffs and you have Kenley Jansen and envelope Philippi Vasquez on your roster left right option yeah and if Kenley starts to struggle you just leave Vasquez out there because remember once you get to the postseason in you know we'll start talking about this when we get to the playoffs. It's all about twenty seven outs. How do you get those twenty seven outs and the tough toughest one eight so lopsided as a matter of fact Steve that there are some teams this year that have been starting their relievers at the beginning of the game you know because they figure they'll get three outs at the beginning? What do they call that? When you bring a guy in a an opener all he does is pitch one inning right which which in old time baseball was just ridiculous? Nobody would even consider doing that but you're right. They all look at it now as a twenty-seven out game by hook or by Crook however you. Get Them Yeah I was listening yesterday to to the game to Charlie and Rick do in the game and they were saying that right now. The dodgers are the best record in baseball yes they've sixty seven wins the record record of Kershaw Bueller and review at Dodger Stadium. I may be off by game or two. I think they said was twenty six and three sounds right so think about if they get home field advantage. If the season ended today hey right now they have it. That's a tremendous advantage this. This is why the bullpen sealing up the back end of the bullpen is so important because you have three guys who are almost automatic to give you a call start in that stadium in dodger stadium so if the playoffs you know what it will be interesting is so you figure you get the starting Game One Yahya Start Kershaw in game two or start Bueller at dodger stadium where you know he's he's really really good and Kershaw who has experience pitching anywhere yeah then pitches the first game on the road. That'll be an interesting decision for we'll be I think it'll come down to is if you want to go lefty lefty righty dominant lineup or righty dominant lineup that you're gonNA face on the postseason yeah and there are by the way the braves are six and a half back at the dodgers for best record in the National League so they are absolutely destroying teams right now and it's amazing..

"Well, the giants over last place the dodgers are enforced, but the giants are having a better week than the dodgers rubber game in the series last night before thirty one thousand plus at oracle bottom of the ninth tied at one runners at first and second two out of three one count on. As manager was thrilled all for pitches or really Chris tonight is at a different look. And nobody's better, you know, after coming off a bad start. And and he came back and determined look as big game force a rough start to the home stain. But it's good in taking the series after they got swept three over the weekend by the Yankees. "With Chris singleton BUSTER, only, here's Daniel. Kjersti? Pedro bias is still on the mound for the dodgers. There is no activity in the dodger pen the Red Sox. Have just gotten up both heath Hamry and Nathan of all do. So keep an eye on. Meanwhile for Boston it'll be Jackie Bradley, jR, Christian Vasquez. Then the pitcher spot Bradley is the reason this game is still going. He homered off kenley Jansen in the eight to tie. He's had a pretty good night tonight. Single in the third inning. Homerun? Got two of the just four hits that the Red Sox have denied. Is now ready to go air. The first pitch of the eleventh is a swing and a solid. On the one real disparity in this game. Who's got the Red Sox? Have you seven pitchers and the dodgers have only used three? So if it gets much deeper, you gotta feed your eventually advantage dodgers because they've got more arms available to them. We are one is chapter foul to. Although if if all comes in. I mean, he could go multiple, right? But a starter most of the year. Yeah. I mean. Billy the only way, you know, looking at the Red Sox angle that of all the gets in this game is to close it out. Like, I'm thinking if the brewers brewers Red Sox take a lead here. Then you you bring in of all the to close out the game. But if you bring a man, and you don't have a lead can you jeopardize his availability for tomorrow. The otsu. Swaggart aspires, Bradley one down. I would think Rodriguez right now starting to get myself mentally prepared to conceivably start game four tomorrow. He just faced one batter tonight. He's going to start or most of the year. Here's fastballs with Steve Pearce out of the on-deck circle. Data the pitcher spot Vasquez one to three on the night. So once Pierce comes into the game. The only remaining bench player for the Red Sox will be sandy Leone dodger still have David freeze of KiKi Hernandez. Pitch Tabasco's swing. Bouncer too. Short backhanded by Machado flip throw across the field in time to. A lot on that side on does. Yeah, he could throw from multiple angles and have still very good arm straight talk about Manny, Machado and Buster's spirit get on this. As he heads into free agency. We wonder will he be? Signed shortstop be signed is the third baseman. It's it's just inevitable that he's going to become a third base. But he's been really good third base. Go Claude at third and at shore. Pretty think BUSTER what I've heard from a lot of teams is they think that he is a below average at best average shortstop, and he's in high impact third baseman, and my guess is that most of the teams that would be looking at a long term investment and him say eight to ten years with basically indicate Tim right off the bat. Look where more interested in you as a third baseman. Manny has made it clear his preferences to play short. But when you're talking about two hundred and fifty to three hundred million dollars the team will have some saying that I think so who's got money in Egypt. Her basement. Well, the Yankees no question on paper are fit in a lot of ways Miguel do har- played third base this year defensively he was not good Manny could possibly be there. Didi gregorius is gonna miss happen. Next season. Tommy, John surgery. So on paper, the eighties might fit. By now, getting ready to face St Pierre who comes off the bench as a pinch hitter Pierce has pop. Spatting in the picture spot to data the basis chided wrong Dodger Stadium. By is trying to complete his second in the first week slider. Big swinger to at one. Red Sox crap Pierce going to deal with the Blue Jays back in June. Appears to a big hits for Boston game winning hits. I'd wanted postseason as well. Generally starts at first base against lefties with the righty starting tonight for the dodgers. Bueller? Appears coming off the bench. Here's real want up high. Looking ahead to the bottom of the eleventh for the dodgers, it'll be Bellinger week and barks. The two pictures up in warning for the Red Sox. One one time. Wadwan pitch in the dirt ball too. Let's just say the Red Sox gonna lead in one. This game had a Baldy close. Alex Cora could try in game four to start. Keith Henry, see, Dave Robertson. Start his lefties and bring into new Pomeranz. Be the opener thing. Lefties perhaps out of the lineup. There's on the a slider true true. I don't think anything can happen should surprises over the future. Back on their feet, again, a Dodger Stadium this time for bias. Two down basis. Here's rating. The chew chew pitch a fastball. Fouled off right side up into the upper deck. Tell me sick. And how many people have left? Somehow, but maybe not. Thousand. Not betty. We all figured out. It was Friday night. Everybody was good to go. Another to come it appears. Here comes the low full-count raised the dirt Barnes. Immediately. Tosses it out of play ball, boys? Get his steps it is coming out with another batch balls for Ted Barrett. The whole player. Three years. With bookie bats on. Staring data the grab now. Returns gathers riverside for Barak. Gratitude. Pitcher on the way, it is Josh slow and by as did a deep knee banned in disbelief thinking it was going to be striped three. He asked to bear was low Barrett nods. It's a appear. So that'll bring up bats quality at bat by Pierce, a good pitch from bias. But that's a pitch where you need the hitter to chase. Probably a swing and miss. If pierced offers attic bought good. Take. And he gets the MVP to the plate. Mookie betts. Clash some of that star power this back. Here's not at Goodspeed. But there's nobody to run for. Go ahead around his first down here. With the eleventh forgets whose over four with a couple of strikeouts. Ward nervous moments here at Dodger Stadium. Dyas the set. The pitch all the way in which it in the air to center field is playable Dallas Jerry to right center. He's there and he's got it. That's all. The Red Sox are retired again. The dodgers have come out. It'll be valid jer we can bards where do we come back at one.

"Is your home for baseball's playoffs in World Series? This is w MVP Chicago ESPN one thousand and streaming on the ESPN app. Meeting over Riccardi cut on his way back to the dugout. So here's the situation. It's tied at one top ten or the Red Sox have runners at first and third with one out Kinzler at third halts it first or the batteries Nunez shitting for devotees. Jackie Bradley, jR, is on the infield is in for the dodgers. Pedro bias is on the mound. Throw to first hold his back. Taylor. The second debasement a little bit over to the middle of the field. Moncey holding on hold a pretty good hole on the right side. Outfielder slightly Aratu the opposite field we played a little bit shallower the normal. It looks like it right field. And again that is the opposite field for. Bias sets. And the pitch on the way. It's high ball one is Holt Loftus start and then put the break, Sean. It's my ADA has now. Joined Scott Alexander with the bullpen for the dodgers. There are all kinds of conversations going on right now. I made coach with whole third base coach with Kinsley. Signals being flashed by Barnes. She stepped out from behind the plate it out by looking in for the sign. Juan Antonio Nunez. Could it be a hero again in this series? After having a game on here's the pitch. And he takes slider at the knees for a strike that was nasty bitch. And that's just not that's not the hitters pitch right there. I mean, he's got a one old count. He is really zoning in his hot spot, and it wasn't there. So you just tip your cap there you go strike one downhill expand a little bit. Just try to get something in the air to the outfield. Get something over the heads of the infielders hoping to bring kids Kinzler with the go ahead run. The Wadwan swing and a fly ball to center field. Not that Jeep ballots. You're setting up makes the cats bear cubs cans ler cubs. At home at the side is retired. Holy smokes. What a row by Toby balancer about ju three feet up the lie. Alex cora's, saying hang tag was clearly applied. Barreds held onto the ball from what I could tell. And I don't think that he. "You know, honestly when I'm done here. I shower get on that car. I'm I to take some say to the pharmacy and get some divers for the kids. I mean, that's that's I guess the second guessing over there. So. I mean is a game. I enjoy it. I know that. Wearing spotlight here managers. They there's a lot of shows now at night, and they're gonna remove I was part of that. So I learned those for years. ESPN Todd me alive being around BUSTER, and TIMMY, and and all those guys, you know, I learned a lot. So i'm. I know he's gonna sound bad. But I really don't care if they second guess me. Well, it's part of being a great coach great manager, whatever it may be that you're going to take some chances because what's happened. Now in baseball is essentially the field manager is a middle manager. They just get incredible amount of information from the general manager who's ever running baseball operations. And then when a situation comes up, they just look at it and say, okay, this is what the numbers say. And that's important. I believe in that that the numbers are very very important. But there's points where sometimes the test is better than the numbers. And I think Dave Roberts failed that last night by taking Pedro by out putting Alex Worden who is not any better against lefties, and he is against righty. So it wasn't as if he had a favorable matchup going with Alex wood. And then at that point Alexkor pounced and brought in Eduardo Nunez's secret weapon and worked out. Yeah. I think it's it's a matter of you had to have a combination of both. You can't lean too heavily on the analytics, and you can't lean too heavily on your gut play. If you lean if you have a combination of it. That's what we've seen people be successful at man. Managing an in game situations. It's foolish in my mind to say, well, the analytics people say, oh, there's no such thing as sort of a gut feeling or yet. It's all the numbers. It's all here's all you ever need. I don't believe that. And I think that there is you can't quantify human beings playing right? You can't quantify clutch. And even though they've tried to sort of say, well, it's not real factor. Yes. It absolutely is. And being being confidence sort of seeing things in certain situations. A confidence factor too, right? Craig kimbrel. We talked about yesterday as the lowest ERA of any modern pitcher with a certain amount of innings, but throughout the postseason. Did you ever really feel comfortable with him out there except for last night when he had a phone late, and he looked more like himself because he was able to command the fastball and the breaking ball. So. Yeah. It's a confidence factor as well. You can run all the numbers you want by. Sometimes the numbers are the effect. Not the cause. And sometimes you have to take those. And then also go with something that you just see that your pitcher in that case. Pedro bias is throwing gas by two good hitters right by Mitch Moreland. And Sandra Bogart's, you need at that point should have confidence in him to get Rafael Devers out. That's what's going to be the match up. I mean, if you're looking at the scouting report on Denver's. He can't hit fastballs. We've seen him turn on on gas before. So I'm not saying that they obviously looking at it in retrospect. Yeah, it was a bad decision. But who's to say that you could have done with that too? I mean, Alex Cora didn't want to face him against Justin Verlander earlier in the last series because he was concerned that Deborah's can handle heat. Now, we go back to that home run. He hit against all this Chapman. Last year insures one hundred three miles an hour. Yeah. You're not gonna faster than that. But a consistent basis. Maybe he has struggles with that. And if you've got bias throwing in the high nineties and again, elevating elevating elevating she's going upstairs chasing, and they weren't going to hit those those pitches. So I would just stick with him. Because you got would say this guy's is going to get out of this. And we're going to be Donna run, and we're gonna eighth inning and see what happens there, but once Nunez comes up and hits the home run games over at that point. Indra Benintendi last night four five big game. He's Christian Burgoyne answered a lot of questions last night about what if he's going to elevate himself to star level. I think one game if he's able to hit lefties in the World Series acting. He's elevating himself from player. A great player. He's six for twelve against lefties in this postseason. That's been his bugaboo internally. And he's done in his post-season. Like, you said there's a number five hundred against them very very good for Andrew Benintendi. Well, he spoke about his manager after the game. Andrew Benintendi likes decisions that cores made it led to one hundred eight wins in the regular season led to an eight and two record so far in a one nothing lead in the World Series. His Andrew Benintendi about Alex cora's decisions to manage sometimes by the gut injury. You guys have talked to season about trusting Alex as as a leader. But as an Xs and os manager does it seem right now in the postseason like just about every button. He pushes seems to work right now. He does a great job starts with the communication. He'll let you know. There's a possibility that you go up to hit or if you're going into play defense, you'll let you know..

"Oh, yes. Three. I roll about the monster down. And by the way, thanks to our good friends at. Spectrums dads and our researcher John Sony exit velocity on that pitch one zero six point. Let me tell you what he golf fat thing. And it was out in about a second as well. So you get to you know, you sit there, and you say one side of listen, if you're an analytical manager, you're an analytical manager, you're going to live by that. But then there's a thought of does the gut come into play at all. Because you know, that was going to be a question. Dave Roberts was going to be asked is why Paul him? He's he's pitching. Well in the short time. He's in there, and your poem. Exactly. And when you said he struck out two batters he struck out a lefty anti writing. Okay. So Dave Roberts made the move to get them out the lefty on lefty matchup with with Nunez coming up. It didn't work out. And he was trying to explain the move to bias a couple of good looking strikeouts. There. Did you just want to avoid Denver's? And that's going to would can talk about that decision. We talked about it. With with PD throwing the ball. Well, right there, but Denver's really good against the right hander. And to get a guy off the bench in Nunez. I really liked Alex spot. I did. So whether they were gonna hit divers with the lead or go to the bench and gold Nunez. I still like Alex Ness spot. I'm listen again. It's an analytical thing, but you always wonder how do you mix the analytics, and the gut, and it's also one of those things that we're also going to judge off the result. And the result alone in these situations difficult, and that's leadership you stand up and defend your position. I believe it's the right one. It's just tough. When on the other side, it seemed like this postseason that Alex Cora everything he touches turns to gold. We remember going back. We did that series of all the right moves. Series with them. And then last night it appeared to be more of the same in for him on the other side to get to rely on a bullpen that's gotten better and better Yari wise as the series of going on in the postseason it by comparison puts you in a tough spot because you've got this first year manager who it seems. I can't miss. Yeah. And again, I want I want to make sure that I misspoke some that he brought in would face Denver's. And then core made the move to bringing me new news. Right. But by the way, the getting rid of bias who knows pitching great in that game. Now has pitch great for season our own Mark to share with a great term here afterwards. They didn't second. Guess it. They I guessed it before it happened. I did not like that move at all we were first guessing in the green room watching this game. Listen Pedro bias was filthy. Since okay, the team that takes a three two series lead in the baseball playoffs in history, seventy percent of the time. They win that series. Forty two eighteen the dodgers have a five and one series record when they're leading three, two in the best of seven. You know what the one is. Well, the one is nineteen fifty. Two World Series house wasn't last year dodgers five one series. When leading three, they were down down and they like him. So that would been Debbie more proof of your theory. Yeah. The Astros are up three two and one nugget. The other way, a Wade mile is going to start one nugget the other way. Hundred and ru Christian yelich Curtis Granderson and Brian Braun have got home, runs against rule in their in their careers. What's interesting about that is Curtis Granderson who everybody kind of snickered grabbed handyman. There's something about Curtis Granderson that everybody loves. My only was here. He'll always be on a postseason roster somewhere this year Milwaukee. Last year here seems like forever ago the Curtis Granderson the Grandi man was here annoying fans. Yeah, trying to coup is the Grandi man of this year for the dodgers free? No, no, no, no. I mean, the guy that annoys people the most, the guy that you dread seeing in the game, the guy who's like I'm done with this guy, whoa. Who they're mad at dramatic. It's Chatto. They hate Machado Machado's hidden. Yeah. Who's the guy like in other words, Pedro Byas was that I was glad, and by the way, Pedro bias has. Been fantastic. Scott Alexander is that guy. He didn't make the postseason roster. So you're talking about the guy that you wouldn't want in correct guy. You don't want in Grendel. Grendel. Grondahl has become the bad guy in this series. Yeah, and it's too. He's a very comes in something wrong must have happened. What's what's funny is he is already because he didn't interview when I wasn't here on this show. He's on our banned list. We had previously correct. Is that right? Yeah, he's absolutely man. He was terrible, awful. We band jasmine green doll, so no band players. Would you say Greg as migrant dollars the he has taken over for Pedro. Baya's. Trifled? Yeah, gates insane. I've never seen a major league catcher have that much trouble. Literally giveaway runs in game one of the series because you look at Kershaw Kershaw didn't pitch while he didn't make his pitches. He didn't have the hook the way had it in in game five, but. He Curtis or. Yes, minding rebel was one of the big reasons. Was anyone else currently on the ban list on the show except for grand all? Yes, Todd mcshay. He's banned Brian Windhorst Wayne Nour's. Yeah, that's a mutual divorce. Yes. Mostly my fault money. Anybody else. Dave mcmenamin oh, David, meta man. That's a light bits, a loose man. We could lift that at any moment. Although mcmenamin always this. Yeah. Not once twice. I'm sure I don't think that he always gets upset when we say he's to. Yeah, but you'll get a text from Dave saying we band. No, he doesn't care really try and trust me. He doesn't care. Why do we band Windhorst when Greg yelled at Greg for seeing he something, he said something that got aggregated, and I said, I asked him to come on because of the agregation. Here's my view, takes himself really seriously. Yeah. Decide generally don't get along with people who take themselves really seriously because I don't. I try not to take anything seriously when Sodano does it. Oh, yeah. Hates that by the way. Good play it more speaking of plankton. Apparently Mario has done a promo surrounding the dunk. Oh, did you have on your screen?.

"If there is healthiest the dodgers last night Richhill went out there pitched five innings. He struck out six guys. Pedro bias pitched one inning. He struck out two guys. Caleb Ferguson didn't get any Cantu. Migrated didn't get any, but the only combined to get two outs total. No strikeouts. Matt's in third, a strikeout kenley Jansen two innings to strike outs would one inning. One strikeout Floro one inning. Two strikeouts in early had a strikeout in one inning. In other words, these guys are going out there and they're lighting guys up. There lighten guys up. This is my issue with Kershaw, it's that he doesn't have the ability to light a guy up anymore. He's got a pitches way through it. And if he gets a little wobbly, help Grondahl in game one, then the whole thing kind of comes apart. He, I don't know if you can extend the guy or. Or have your guy in these big moments guy that needs everything to go right to have you have a moment. It's like a QB who needs great, Blackie great running game averagely half great. Hey. In order for him to execute anything slightly off. Annella son was like on, he's you're just a guy, the holy full. I know. So I mean, none of them are in the same category and conversation as Tom Brady and Rogers. MS reason, Creighton Kershaw is supposed to be the Tom Brady Ann Rogers for the dodgers, and he's been more like. What would you say? What is this for him? It's been more like Peyton Manning. Would you say? Yeah, that's that's a good comparison. What is this for his far as his year? This is his can tell you right now. This eleven th year in the league. Oh. Changed that chain. He's young. He just get started. Eleven eleven years in the league you you should be cooking. Travis was getting hit me what's sixteenth years. So you know, I was gonna say, well, he's older but now eleven years. You should still be cook. His older for pitcher and pitching years is still under I. It's not. It's not as birth certificate as much as it is this number. He's thrown twenty one hundred innings in his career and regular season, so you tack on. Let's see. So that's twenty one hundred plus another innings. Another one hundred thirty three. So he's thrown almost twenty three hundred innings in his career. I mean, that's that's. Yeah. And those miles from may April may through September. There's nobody that's been better at it ever. Nobody fill out a mouse could be from October one till whenever it ends. There's a lot of guys that. Band. So one, the funerals we always play so hard to say goodbye. Now that one, not that one, but when I go marching. Yeah, yeah, that when we might have to play that one one of them because. That's a lot. One Mississippi goes out if he goes out any pitches a gem and we win the game for me. Fan's perspective. I'm feeling better by him coming back. But if he goes out lazing egg, we got to, you know, he's been chased in the fourth. I'm not feeling good about him cut. It's not. It's not. It's not about him coming back Zoli on the contract. Yeah, it's about, but he's going to opt out. Might. What people don't seem to understand when they start talking about this opt-out stuff helped me. You can't opt out if you don't have any takers. Everybody's gonna feel the same way about you. If you go out there and you landing egg, nobody's going to be stupid enough to give you a hundred and something million dollars interject real fast with your name Marino because it wasn't the pool. Yes, yes. The was the expiration date on his career as a great player had passed. He still a good player, but the team was the time for him to have been the best player in the league which he was for the better part of ten years. It was long and every team in baseball knew it except for orange every team. Okay. I know you're angel. But, but they extended him too long if they would have given him a four year deal fine, but they gave him too much..

"Dan shoulder. The Chris singleton with you here Dodger Stadium the brewers want. And the dodgers won pitcher Milwaukee is right mannered Corbin burns who is making his second appearance of the National League championship series. Last time we saw campus back in the game shoes. A third of it any gave up to or grunge after two very good outings in the division series against Colorado. The guy who could give Craig counsel sublime multiple guy part of the order coming up beginning with Justin Turner who looks at a ninety six mile an hour. Fastball for strikes how about the job. I Freddie Peralta relief of GOP challenge tonight for a walkie three innings. You want hit? No runs did walk three. But he struck out six postseason debut. One is down in a way. And it wasn't like it was his postseason debut. Hey, you're starting this game. Kansallis rolls. His ankle. Offsent? Freddie peralta. You're the ballgame lets go. Twenty two years of age to just a kid one swing at a ball fouled off to the right out of play one or two on Turner who has crowded out and walk. So the brewers tied it in the top of the fifth inning pinch hitter to go Santana. For the double to score Orlando arsia. Talk about the brewers getting contribution so far in October from just about everybody on the roster. Guys, like what Woodruff at burns on the pitching staff guys like Santana at our? I want to swing and a miss nasty. Ninety seven mile an hour fastball with a little cut to it at charter strike shout down Earth-based burns looks to be back in action. The way that we saw the division series. Really just a tacky hitters don't even as his last time. Our gave up a couple of runs a you're facing really good headers and sometimes. Those things are going to happen. Just like the hitters don't get hits face tough, bitching. So when he gets a tip your cap, sometimes a good to see him start his next appearance off the way that he did right there. Max Muncie cups up for the second time. Struck out looking the first time in here. He swigs at fouls went off would want. But she struck out looking with the bases loaded into down when he came on as a pinch hitter David freeze back in the second. Fowler. Shook out manning media a little bit. Stat giving a little bit of time to collect themselves. One is the loneliest number. You're pretty good was Beth says. Yeah. As you know, what that says go. All would want the count. Pitch. Swing and ground ball into the shift outed. Shallow right field its scope making the long throw auto Aguilar. Just in time to get about. She to down. Let's go past the rush that because max boxy running hard at the first base line puts the pressure on that defense ever dealt. You get a bobble that can change the game. So quickly to down for burns Milwaukee's tied it now. They're getting good pitching haircuts. Manny Machado whose over to pop up at a ground ball. Dan, I think the dodgers could get Ryan dosier to the plate. That could be the double switch. Dave roberts. He can switch. You out the pitcher in let the pitcher go into that spot. Right. Bring a position player in with. Pedro bias. If he doesn't do it. If he doesn't get dosier up. He doesn't really have options Machado takes down in a way ball one unless you would have pulled Muncie. Bellinger. But I don't think he wants to lose munchies bow. We'll see how it plays out. Sometimes the timing of the moves workshop beautifully in the National League games. Sometimes not so much. One shadow fouls. It off all the strike. What run three hits for the brewers one run on two hits for the dodgers game four with game five tomorrow afternoon. First pitch just after five o'clock eastern time, just after two o'clock here. Locally in Los Angeles. James six and seven if necessary back at Miller park. What one fastball swinging this ball was away? But Machado went after it wanted to burns as you said he is brought the ace stuff to the party tonight. Psyches throwing darts ninety six ninety seven. He could finish tied to the glove side down in a way as look pretty good for him. So far. Charles stepped out for a moment outback Birch is ready to go to at Machado steps out. Take strike free. Call he asked her time. It wasn't granted and it strike free. Call Etta Machado was livid. But again, you don't get tied. You asked for time. And it must be granted by it up fire, but Chato was soup. It would be stepped out and he took strike free. Call. The ending is over.

"Dome. It's not as pronounced as it used to be. You know, whether it's that they never baseball Helton every year had had like monster numbers at home and not so much on the road. Yeah, they since they started putting the baseball's in that humidor. I think I don't think that they have as decided. I mean, it's definitely a hitters park, but I don't know if it's the kind of hitter's park that to your point. The Rockies are actually better on the road this year than they are at home. They're forty and thirty two on the road and thirty six and thirty at home. Wow. And the Rockies Penn is hot garbage too. So it's not like well, sort of dodger now, the dodgers bullpen is not bad. That's your guy. Pedro bias hasn't been bad. Oh, Pedro bias has been very good. Excellent. Yes. Excellent. And so has most of the other bullpen they've had over the month of August? I think they had the fourth best. Yeah, all of baseball really. Well, today's lapse of kenley Jansen. Yes, That that was was the night. the night, then Then. laps, but but him leaving. Boy. The thing that's still amazing to me about the dodgers is there run differential? They are plus one thirty three. Yeah. Number one in the National League, you know, the American League, they got a bunch of really the Astros are more than two hundred. The Red Sox are more than two hundred. Plus I'd read sector plus two twenty. Twenty-three Astros or plus two twenty seven. But in the National League in that division, the Rockies are minus ten, which means they've scored ten fewer runs than they've given up, right. The dodgers are plus when thirty three d backs plus eighty five. And then the other teams way below. I mean, the dodgers have just their run differential. Nobody else is even at one hundred. We'll see that speaks to how good they are yet. The only other team Mace over a hundred is the cubs and they're, they're twenty runs behind the dodgers. But then the only other teams, the whole National League that have run differential over one hundred. Dodgers in the cubs. So it's weird. Like when they win, it's like a game like last night where they went, eleven to four and when they lose lose two to one, you know? Yeah, I, I mean, I think they're in really good shape. I think if you think about where any anybody that is complained about Andrew Friedman and foreign Zaidi in the last couple of years, you've got to look at how good they've won five straight division titles, but how good they've been from the trade deadline on to make the Machado deal to make the dosier deal to at the very end just before they get to the wire to add David freeze and Ryan Madson they have found ways to make this team better. And I would say they had that's that's better than any other team in baseball did from the trade deadline on. But you know, there are people that just don't believe in Florence ID and don't believe in Andrew Friedman. The World Series a little bit like clay Helton. It's like, what? What can you really do? Clay helton's coming off the the Pac twelve championship. And the year before a Rose Bowl win and to double digit win years. These guys five straight division titles and they got to game seven of the World Series last year. It's like there are certain people that you just cannot win with. And we live in an all or nothing world. But if you SC doesn't go to the college football playoff, but does win the Pac twelve championship this year doesn't that isn't clay Helton success, clowns success already. Even if that doesn't happen. If Klay Hilton has finishes with a losing record, then talk to me. But in other than that, it's just dumbed. Argue the Klay Hilton can't coach, he's wins. Most of the games he's supposed to win. Hey, kenley Jansen has just tweeted, okay. Two minutes ago. Got at dodger fans. As you heard. I won't be making the trip to Colorado doctor's orders. I want to help my team at any cost, but I must listen to the doctor to be honest with you, heart issues or scary. I'm doing great though..

"Thirty six games left. We'll give you the update next Mason in Ireland ESPN LA God. I hope. It's what's up last night. A devastating moment for the dodgers as they go to a the ninth inning with a three, three lead and Kelly have a three, three lead three, three game, but they did. You don't want you said it that way because I watched the whole thing. The dodgers actually had all the momentum. They were losing three to nothing. They came all the way back and in the bottom of the seventh inning, MAC Munt, max Muncie hit one hundred and two mile an hour fastball for a single to tie the game at three. And you just felt like the dodgers were going to win it. And then they went to kenley Jansen in the ninth and it was like porn gas on a fire after the game, they asked maximum see what's the difference when you hitting a one hundred and three mile an hour fastball. And he said yes to swing sooner. Yeah, have to swing centre. Here's kenley Jansen on on what happened and whether or not he came back to. Ten days. So I'm glad that I'm back to be honest with you. The frustrated. Stuff, having some nice let me down. He's going to move forward as this woman day. The. The day began try to win a ballgame shot. Same hitters. Looking forward to. Yeah, it's it's frustrating. I mean, you soom member kenley didn't throw during spring training, and when he came back, everybody questioned whether or not he was going to be the same guy. He ultimately did he rounded in form. He was gone for two weeks. We'll assume I'm gonna -ssume that he is going to turn into kenley Jansen again. The bullpen was pretty damn good last night. The there was a basis loaded walk by Pedro bias, but he went two hitless innings followed by Kanta my eight, a two hitless innings. I really thought they were gonna win that game and the big problem, I think. And I'm not a big fan of bringing in a closer in a tie ballgame. Yeah. It was pitching well. I mean, I think you could have gotten another inning out of my to remember. He's been pitching as a starter all year. So asking him to go, three innings would have been no big deal, and he pitched well in the seventh and the eighth, hey, so it's very rare that I get something right about baseball that you get wrong. Cadidate happened today. I don't know if you saw this. I at the start of the year Bergman was here Bergman and I were both on one side of this issue you are on the other. I begged the dodgers not to sign you. Darvish just begged them. I thought that he was just a disaster in the World Series. You, you argued that no, you need him because he was good innings, and you need innings. The cubs announced today out for the season with a stress reaction in his elbow so and they're paying him. I think he got six years. One hundred twenty five million. Does that sound right? Or was it four years? One twenty-five contract? It was a bunch and it was a long term deal. It was six years. One hundred twenty six. Yes. Six for one twenty. Six. So that's roughly. You know, it's just over twenty million a year. He's already won and this year, what does it does it have his numbers for this year. I don't even think he threw one hundred innings this year. Oh, no, no, not even close. I think he's like fifty. He's been on my fantasy team, so I I'm intimately aware of by the way. That's that's how sure I was about you Darvish he's also on my fantasy team and he's he's crushed me this year..
