"The general manager you know back in my time. We'll also drafted. Eli just just to see executive to players and and I'll come back because like a family and he meant so much to all of us because I know without winning a super bowl my life is different and an ally with the big catalyst and a big reason. We were able to do that and I'm just grateful to be team. He's always been such a nice man. Dan and and I think his demeanor that everyone said he doesn't show any emotion. It was perfect for New York because we had a lot of other guys who were colorful we. You need a quarterback to be focused and all those things to help the team win two super bowl. Michael Strahan here on the rich Eisen show more. I'm sure you're already hearing that. There's a lot of talk about your two thousand seven giants giants team for this very week. Number One your offensive coordinators. According to the defense for the Kansas City chiefs and Steve Spagnolo and number two is that yes. You've got a a an MVP quarterback on one side albeit one season removed and mahomes but four guys who can put their fingers in the dirt defensive line line and go hunt and have you'd have to scheme your way or the quarterback that's your guys in that role at you had in handing loan loss to the previously undefeated Patriots in Super Bowl. Do you see any similarities. Other than just what I just throw at you yeah. I'm kind of You you everyone asks. Who's going to win and it'd be honest with you? I don't know right now. Oh I got to you know just meditate on it. That's Glazer move. Save it for any data. Glaser why exactly Glazer says nothing to nobody unless it's the guy or people or ladies who are paying them so I understand it does say something a bunch of gibberish. Anyway asshole but it's interesting to me to watch the BAG NOLA who I I. Literally just came here from their practice. Okay in the see him With the defense that it's built differently than our defense bill. You know they'd be for the definitely bill differently than our defense. I think the challenge they're going to have is really the running game and and everyone. Everyone has criticized Garoppolo not everyone is criticizing but a lot of people said we don't know of Jimmy G. can win the game but I think when they needed him to throw the ball. He's throwing the ball. Well he's done and everything that they needed him to do. But the number one priority in my opinion to stop in that running game if the chiefs are gonNA quarterback to get on the field and do what he does best and on the other side being at the NFC championship game watching all the four linemen. Come off the ball. I'm like I don't so we were that exmaple kidding. We were explosive and we were. We were great. Trust ME I. I'm not bragging but we were great at what we you did. Yeah but we were as big as these. We want six seven six eight three twenty and run like your to forty. You know both is not as big. But he's like one little muscle also he has motor never stops. I think we hit our hotspot. These guys have been hot all year long and is GonNa be a big challenge to slow down that line. Nine and Mahomes had a lot of weapons. They're going to have to get there and running game going as well to kind of counteract just guys rushing up the field you gotta learn hits them seemed to slow to rest out. Yeah Michael Strahan here here on the rich Eisen show few more minutes left with you. You'll be you as well as Howie and Terry and obviously Jimmy getting in the hall of fame. It was an amazing moment that that you were able to celebrate on live. TV The other day. That was pretty cool. The greatest thing about Jimmy's moment is that Jimmy had other opportunity that have passed for him to make it into the hall of fame and I think he had gotten to the point of where when hall of fame came around. He really didn't WanNa hear about it. He was kind of like. I'm over it I don't want to hear about it doesn't matter you know Harry Carson from the giant hairy the giant ways on your heart man it and it even I saw the video with Drew Pearson. Persson broke my heart. I see that like that really broke my heart because it means a lot to the guy than some now all the hard work they put in so when David Baker came out curt Menefee what the only one who knew. Do the rest of US had no idea actually came out late because he was watching halftime show in the green room. Oh my God. This is a moment Jay. GotTa get in on a moment right so day ran out is yeah and joined us and to see Jimmy get choked up and start to cry for guy who.

But both these shows had fall finales and that's usually a really big episode for those for these kind of shows so this is US had episode nine of season four so long. Marianne things are a little tense as Thanksgiving commences in two thousand Nineteen Philadelphia via after an awful fight. Randall and Rebecca had the previous evening Rebecca. scarily good at the silent treatment when she sees her son hovering over her turning off burners on the stove. She's put on. She decides she needs some space and heads out to see a movie show by some Pie on the wrong on the way home. And I'm like thinking I self when that happened. Why did he let her leave? Something bad my Knapman as you will see but then and when she comes back it's like nothing happened but the next time we see Rebecca. She's at the park looking very confused. So confusing in fact that she thinks she spots young William Walking by which is not a great sign even worse she walks into the grocery store ahead of a bakery which and then she gets distracted by flowers and completely forgets why. She's there even worse. When she goes to pay for the flowers she empty serum tire person? Winds up leaving her phone behind. Something is seriously wrong with Rebecca and is much worse than previously. Seen and her leaving her phone was a point in the previous previous episode. Two and she was at random office says only a matter of time before he left that very expensive iphone sitting on the counter. Randall's not thrilled with the idea. And his MOM traipsing around around Philadelphia but he has more important issues to deal with the box of the pilgrim rick hat and other things apparently left behind in the move. What are the odds? And now Randall and Anne are going to drive to the old house New Jersey to pick them up. I mean could you imagine the Pri the new owners getting that phone call. There's GonNa Weird Randall. And anti are joined by someone surprising on their excursion they encounter uncle nicky uncle taking Kevin have arrived from Bradford and Nikki looks good. He thinks he looks like he's in a Viagra commercial. Not a bad thing and and once he starts looking around at old photos. Randall has out of Jack in the family. He thinks that this is not something that he wants. He heard of. He wants to get out of there. And although Randall rescues the Thanksgiving box and a case of CDs his mother wants gifted him. The mini road trip only makes things worse for Nicky Banger minded. The Jack completely erase him from from the family's life is overwhelming. It certainly doesn't help that. He can't stop thinking about last Thanksgiving with his brother a week before. Nikki was drafted in the Vietnam War which we did see. The and flashbacks Thanksgiving was always a terrible time for the Pearson brothers of finding that year with their father screaming inside the House Jack Decides the two of them are going to be on Thanksgiving they head of the bar where Nikki ends up winning boatloads of money betting against the cowboys. His Dad's favorite team and the boys had to restaurant were. They proceed to eat five pounds of shrimp in two thousand nineteen Randall. Has Nikki pick out a CD. From the case. And he goes with Leonard Cohen Album. When Randall puts it's on the song so long Marianne he starts telling Nikki about how much Jack loved the song in how he'd always explained the meaning behind it? Randall heard about it. So much. Much can repeat the speech verbatim. Nikki is visibly moved by this back in nineteen sixty nine post shrimp binge. The brothers are listening to music in the back of Jack's truck and the same song comes on Jack doesn't like it at all. Nikki goes explained with the songs about the same speech. Randall knows by heart in the car. With Randall Nikki is trying trying to hold back tears. Because this means that Jack didn't completely erase in for Ms Life or as children's lives Jack Always kept apart nicky with him. By the time we get to Nikki telling the pearsons Persson's about his best Thanksgiving ever offering them five pounds of shrimp as the new Jack Pearson Inspire tradition to add to the day one. The brothers had promised to continue continue but never got the chance. It's just a weeping mess and honestly the whole arc. That Nicky has had on the show has just been really touching and the fact that he to be part of the family that he thought he was raised from in this episode was just really beautiful and he said this new connection with Kevin and now he's embracing all the rest of the family Just beautiful any brought shrimp. I mean come on Randolph chats with Kevin about his dream to get married and have kids by forty party which random reminds me is just nine months away but mostly Randall can't shake the thought that something is wrong with your record. And he's not wrong. He promised he won't wouldn't bring up their argument with anyone else so he can't even bring his siblings in on this. After the grocery store we find her backer eating lunch wjr at Chinese restaurant when she realizes she doesn't have her phone and she also realizes she doesn't realize that she's supposed to be somewhere for dinner. She freaks out. She needs a caller son but of course does not have as number because in her phone. She's very distraught. And no one wants to seem like this eventually. The police picker occur up. She explains that she's in town visiting family for a special occasion and they take her home. Only it's not random house in philly which I was very surprised about Kevin. Kevin answers the door. Happy that she's safe and all that stuff we saw were. The RECCO was actually nine months in the future. It's August twenty. Twenty in the big three turning forty Kevin Kate and Miguel are. They're getting Rebecca situated. Not the first time and Kevin's fiancee's in the back room dealing with some morning sickness. So apparently he is going to be a dad by forty weird when Rebecca asked where Randall is Kevin says that he's not coming and he and Randal we're not speaking to each other because we can't have nice things so the next nine months should be interesting and as I was reading interviews with the show runners. They said that it's GonNa play out in real time. We're not going to skip forward nine months where there's going to see glimpses of it and we will see the real play out of that at at the beginning of next season in twenty nineteen Rebecca returns with her pie and after. Randall apologizes for the way he was treating her. She informs him that she only made it halfway through the trailer of cats before she forgot with movie she was going to see something is wrong. And Rebecca Needs Randolph. Help and thus begins the cycle of US thinking the show is sadder and still showing us more. Rebecca needs Randall's help and we're GONNA see the that play out for quite a few episodes now. The back half of the season will be he definitely lots of emotions in new and horrible ways. So we'll see more of this when the show comes back in January so it was a big episode. I mean we had a lot of stuff going on. We had Nikki coming to meet the family and continue the tradition. We have this flash forward of nine months to see Rebecca really going downhill and I was really surprised that all the things that we saw Aubrac. Oh walking around town was really of her nine months in the future. I wasn't expecting that but the fact is is that she isn't as bad as she is now as she will be in nine months so I'm really curious to see what happens. And and if she's asking for help in the present how is she so far gone nine months later if she has been seeking help. So I'm very curious what's going to happen and I'm so curious about who Kevin is sharing and the fact that he's having a kid I mean we already know he's having our kid because we you see the kid in the future way future that we saw at the end of last season now. It's even clear that that happens a lot quicker than we think that is this is us again. Emotionally devastating so much stuff happened and now there's so many questions that have been raised which is as per usual for the show but I'm looking forward to seeing much more when the show returns and I will definitely watching. What did you think and end of the next show? Is the good place episode. Nine season four called the answer. And let's start with Jason Mendoza quote. Because why not where where I am from most things blow eventually so when something dope comes along you gotTa lock down which is just a great Jason Honestly. The answer resembles one of the old-fashioned Sitcom Clip shows meant to remind longtime viewers of the show is pass pass highlights but it's.

Their China is the world's biggest official creditor but new research shows that half of its lending to developing countries is hidden Christopher Trobisch is a professor of macroeconomics at Kiel Institute for the world economy. He's also the CO author of a working paper called China's overseas overseas lending we were interested in the standing the financial footprint of China and we realized however that it's very difficult to study lack of data so we sat down and gathered all available sources over over two years and try to trace those lending activities to developing countries as carefully as we could and we realized just how little others know about this lending as well so why is it hidden and how it is China you do it so you lend to a country like Zambian and then Zambia will report. It's dead stocks to the World Bank but given the specific way in which China Lens which is often by Chinese public corporations to corporation in developing countries. He's those kind of debts are not reported and picked up by these officials statistics. You say fifty biggest recipients have debt with China worth seventeen percent of their G._D._p.. On average what are the biggest flash points and could we see things turn south out there pods of these debts simply are not known to the wider public to financial market participants to rating agencies so that risk assessments cannot be done properly and they might be overlending we also in the paper draw parallels to China's lending boom and lending boom of the nine hundred seventy those lending flows in the seventies went to resource rich poor countries that were booming at the time just like they were booming and the two thousand two thousand tens and many of these flows where OPEC lending occurred at commercial rates and we are often backed by these resources we know how that the nineteen seventies boom ended in tears many of these countries and went into default and ten twenty thirty years to resolve these that that overhang problems what countries are more more vulnerable than others the things that I know exactly where the hidden parts are but we can't release this because the date has actually was given to us on a confidential basis Venezuela Zimbabwe Iran countries is that are already seeing crises.
