What Country Does Mitch McConnell Actually Represent?

"Has come out and he has said, look, the most important thing happening in the world right now is the war in Ukraine. What country does Mitch McConnell represent exactly? The country that has the wide open border and a 100,000 plus drug overdoses that has double digit inflation, you see, for Washington, D.C., WarGames are always more important than the livelihood of their citizens. Always. They will always care more about some far distant land than their own constituents. Does Mitch Mitch McConnell as senator from western Ukraine? Or is he a senator from Kentucky that has incredible problems right now? Kentucky's dealing with drug problems, inflation, unemployment, you see Rand Paul, who also represents Kentucky, actually cares about his voters. Rand Paul stood up and said, I represent my voters and I swore an oath to the United States Constitution. And I'm not going to just all of a sudden authorize $40 billion to go to some far off distant land when we do not know what success looks like. Will this bring us closer to peace or closer to war? You see, there should be solutions put forward other than just giving Raytheon Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin, complete and total blank checks to be able to have their chance at pillaging the United States treasury. "Com. We are back with the newest member of the Salem factory faculty. He is officer Brandon Tatum, who will be taking over from Larry elder as a former Leo law enforcement officer, got to play this cut for you from outside justice Alito's home yesterday, play cut. My body. My body. My body. What do I want? So in Virginia law, it's actually a crime to disturb the peace of a private residence. In federal law, it is a crime to try to exert pressure on a judicial proceedings or to intimidate a judge. Nothing happened, even in Virginia, yes, Glenn youngkin, where are you? Nothing happened in D.C.. So as a former law enforcement officer, I got to get your reaction, Brandon. Yeah, it makes my blood boy watching these people act the way they do. It's okay to protest. It's okay to peaceably assemble. But when you are breaking the law, police officers need to hold you accountable. And the funny thing is, is that when this is an attack against a conservative, everybody's cool. They can walk the streets they can threaten people and everything else. When this is against a liberal, they

Astronaut Charlie Duke Is a Man of Faith

"Folks, welcome back. I'm talking to general Charlie duke who 50 years ago today, walked on the surface of the moon. Before we go farther, Charlie, you're a man of faith. When did that happen in your life? It was not during the time that we're talking about 50 years ago was subsequent to that. Yes. It did. I get a question a lot. Said, going to the moon change your life. It did not. But I came back. I'd always believed in God. We were church doors, took our family every Sunday to our little Episcopal Church and report Texas anyway, but I was frustrated. I was 36 when I landed on the moon, and now climbed a ladder of success now what I had no peace, a marriage was falling apart. And fortunately, some people came to, in 1975, some people came to our little parish church, and they started talking about Jesus. Personal testimony. In an Episcopal Church, that's unheard of. Back then, it was okay. But not right now, it's hard. But. My wife listen intently. And she was on the verge of suicide. And this was in October 1975. And she heard these people and she realized I've tried everything in my life, but Jesus. And so after the weekend was over, she went in a bedroom prey. More Jesus, if you realize I gave you my life, if you're not, I want to die. Well, Jesus came into our life. He's alive in two months later, I watched a change from sadness to joy.

Kirsten Gillibrand: These Justices Have Crossed a Line

"Let's have some peace and quiet. Unless you're Kirsten gillibrand, my friend texted me over the weekend, like I said when I was flying back saying you can't believe the way Kirsten gillibrand. The New York senator is ranting and raving to Jake tapper on CNN. Here's a little bit of what she sounded like. I'm very concerned that these justices have crossed a line that no one believed would be crossed. That they would purposefully create the impression that they would not overrule settled precedent and that it was not only deserving of do weight and the importance of precedent, but because it had been reaffirmed that it deserves more weight and then go ahead and overturn it, especially with the reasoning that justice Alito makes in this draft opinion. It's outrageous. And so Jake, back to the point. I think we should get rid of the filibuster. I think we should vote for our values. I believe we should fight for everything we believe in at this moment. This is about basic equality. It's about whether women in America have a right to make these decisions. Whether they have a right to decide who and when they have children with under what circumstances, you know, I wish Jake tapper would have said, senator, are you glad your mom didn't abort you? I mean, it's Mother's Day. Are you relieved that your mom made the choice to bring you into the world?

"Have you found that when you step across that line when again that fear is there? I don't want to be identified this. I don't want to be called that way. But once you step across that line, step through that barrier, you suddenly realize it's not what they said it was going to be and you find that there is allies on the other side. They're saying, oh, I'm finally glad somebody else stood up and said what is truth. Yes, it's total freedom. I do three podcasts today, three hours of radio a day. Travel in the country always. And I know a lot of other people in media and they work for certain organizations and they're always reaching out like wow Charlie, like you really speak your mind. I say, yeah, because I don't have to report to somebody if I say something wrong. I'm not going to have to, you know, if I say something incorrect, I'll be the first one to apologize to you. But if I say something true and you don't like it, all right, whatever, there's a sense of freedom and a sense of peace that I want for all of you in your life where all of a sudden you do not care about what they could do to you. And that's not to say that you might not be in that situation right now. I understand that. There might be an employer, there might be somebody that might be threatening. But I do not believe that's how God actually wants you to live his life. Miss Kay Robertson Shares a Powerful Story About Her Husband Phil

"Back. I'm talking to miss K Robertson and Lisa Roberts in the book his sister roar and miss K, you just said something. I know you told me this story before, but I can't believe it. You said that your husband Phil, the duck commander, he was so bad, this is it right at the beginning of your marriage, that he threw you and the kids out of the house. He needed some peace because you were nothing but trouble, obviously. Yes, because I was preaching at this at 27. I really, you know, my Jesus and lord of my life. Before I was a small kid, I didn't exactly know what it meant, but I became a Christian, and I just, you know, I tried to suddenly say thanks and not me, but that's what we got. I was being a holy role or something. He didn't like it. So that's when he put us out and I'll never forget it was a rainy night and I had a boat swag and man three little boys piled every time we could get in a Volkswagen and we went to his brother's house and I asked his brother we stay there because feel put us out and he said only one night, only one night you can stay and I was like, okay and then I said, mind if I only one night because I didn't think I'd ever done anything to offend you and he said, hey, it's not you at all. I'm scared to fail. That's what he said. I'm scared of him. So I said, okay, so I can to the present time we live in now and went to the church, the big church that we got to. And I just told him, I said, I need help, you know? And we got in a little apartment, it was paid by what you make. And I already made 250,000 a month. So that's all I had. And me and the boys, we just prayed for him every day, and they got on the bus, probably it's called the pink buses and if you invite the neighbors, like, come, so it really helped my kids with their loss of not having their daddy. But we prayed for him. We prayed for him and then quickly to end this. He came to my work at a lunchtime, and I was coming in from lunch and my girlfriend said, oh no, there's fail and he's lucky he's laying on his steering wheel. She said, what do you think? And I said, I don't know, but I've got to face it and she said, what if what if he's got a gun in his future? I said, well, you've been watching too much. But number two is, you just watch from here and make sure nothing happens to me. So I go out there and he had been crying, and I've never seen Phil cry. You know, big tough man. You know, cry. And so he said, I'm sorry. He said, I love my family. I can't live without my family. And I just can't eat, and I can't sleep, and he said, I want you. I want you back, and I'm sorry about what I did, all those ten years and I said, Bill, this was my heart was going about a hundred miles an hour. And I said, let me tell you something. You can't do it by yourself. You've said a hundred times you were going to quit. And you didn't. And he said, well, I need to talk to somebody, and I said, well, I've got somebody lined up. It was a preacher at the church where I went. And he had this one time in the beer joint. Phil's baby sits your body men there, and he talked to film 5th day. Have you ever been drunk? And I preacher said, yes, I have. He said, but not lightly, and he said, no Phil, not since I come to Jesus.

Stream.org Is Calling for a Peaceful Resolution to the Ukraine War

"Focus, I'm talking to John zamir. John, let's talk about anything you want to talk about. What do you want to talk about? Thanks, Eric. Well, one thing tomorrow morning where a statement, a call from peace and negotiations is going to come out from a group of Christian scholars and activists who want to encourage Americans to promote a negotiated peace in Ukraine. You're one of those Americans, and I'm one of those Americans. We are signing this petition and we want to exhort people. Now this is not till tomorrow morning it will be published at the stream stream dot org. Right. But this is important, John, please explain why this is important because I think you and others believe that the Biden administration, the so called deep state, they want war. They want World War three and they're, you know, trying to pretend like it's just and it's not. I wish it were just the secret committee formally known as Joe Biden and the deep state behind him. But it's also large segments of the Republican Party, the military industrial complex, the neoconservative hawks, the same people who gung Ho supported the Iraq War and accused people like me of being unpatriotic or traitors for asking skeptical questions about weapons of mass destruction that never existed. Threats to America that were false connections to Al-Qaeda that never existed and consequences and costs that turned out to be all too real. Right now the squishy center left and the squishy center right, the whole rotten spectrum from Hillary Clinton on the one hand to Liz Cheney Adam kinzinger on the other. And now I'm throwing up in my mouth as I say their names. They want to fight Russia and we can Russia the last dead Ukrainian. They are delighted that Putin invaded Russia. They hope to trick him into doing so by constantly denying any legitimate Russian security

The True Meaning of 'America First'

"While there may be others in Washington who casually call themselves America first we and our colleagues at the America first policy institute Served alongside Trump at senior positions at The White House and in departments and agencies throughout the executive branch with the leaders of the American first movement We've been abundantly clear and condemning Putin's destructive invasion of Ukraine and the vial atrocities whose military is committing there America first requires an independent and secure America with a strong military and strong alliances We must ensure America's supply chains and economy are stable and strong and its people safe Through internal strength we are best poised to lead and engage in the world and accomplish more for American people The peace prosperity and freedom of others America first is not isolationism rather its purposeful engagement with other nations to serve American interests first We believe in both decisions to support American interests and enhance the capability credibility and purpose of American allies We also support the prudent use of American military power in a post sending American troops into endless wars without clear objectives that benefit the American people We finally stand for the people of Ukraine in the reference to defend their country against the Russian invasion For these reasons Only advocate for sending additional arms and weaponry to a Ukraine We oppose a no fly zone and other ways to engage American military forces in the Ukrainian conflict because we do not believe the U.S. should risk war with Russia such a conflict could escalate into a wider war in Europe or nuclear conflict Now with that said we want to see Ukraine armed to the teeth And we're very concerned that the Biden administration appears to be dragging its feet

"What is your personal test? For when America should commit the lives and treasure of the American people. I think it's amazing how in Washington it's obviously war and peace are complicated issues, but somehow folks in Washington think Kang and the D.C. establishment have managed to turn the question of war and peace into something that I think most oklahomans can give you a pretty straightforward answer to. It's whether this is in the national interest of the United States or not, whether to use force, whether it is in the national security interests of the people of the United States.

"I was <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> doing the red pen of <Speech_Female> doom <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> as i seem to be <Speech_Female> known for but <Speech_Female> anyway i proved <Speech_Female> it and it's <Speech_Female> actually been the first time <Speech_Female> <Advertisement> i read it in a long <Speech_Female> <Advertisement> time so <Speech_Female> <Advertisement> i was proofing it and <Silence> reading at the same time <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> and i like <SpeakerChange> it. I <Speech_Female> like the fact <Speech_Female> that <Silence> it's very <Speech_Female> straightforward. <Speech_Female> It's <Speech_Female> very <Speech_Female> clear and easy <Silence> to understand. <Speech_Female> It's <Speech_Female> very loving <Speech_Female> but yet it does <Silence> not <Speech_Female> <SpeakerChange> <Silence> <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> The say doesn't pull any <Speech_Female> punches. Makes <Speech_Female> it sound like it's <Speech_Female> more <SpeakerChange> harsh <Speech_Female> but it's not it's <Silence> <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> it's the truth <Speech_Female> i mean it's the <Speech_Female> truth of how jesus <Speech_Female> changed everything <Speech_Female> and <Speech_Female> obviously what he includes. <Speech_Female> Land <Speech_Female> includes in that is <Speech_Female> his own testimony. <Speech_Female> You know as far <Speech_Female> as how <Speech_Female> jesus changed his <Silence> life. <Speech_Female> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Female> And so i think <Speech_Female> it would just be a very <Speech_Female> truthful <Speech_Female> but non-threatening <Speech_Female> book for non <Silence> believers to read. <Speech_Female> It's <Speech_Female> it's one of the few gospel <Speech_Female> books that i read <Speech_Female> an evangelistic <Speech_Female> books that <Silence> he <Speech_Female> is sue <Silence> <Advertisement> primly truthful <Speech_Male> but <Silence> kind <Speech_Female> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Female> and so <Silence> that's recommended <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> all right <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> and <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> my brother also <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> read it <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> and he read the <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> proof copy <Silence> <SpeakerChange> and <Speech_Male> he <Speech_Male> said he really liked <Silence> it so <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> ladies gentlemen there you <Speech_Male> have it <SpeakerChange> extremely <Speech_Music_Male> biased. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> What <SpeakerChange> more can <Speech_Female> i say. <Speech_Female> Well i also <Speech_Female> say that. I read a <Speech_Female> ton of books so <Speech_Female> i i <Speech_Female> do not say this <Speech_Female> lightly. Well <Speech_Female> i'm just. <Speech_Female> I realized i'm married <Speech_Male> to you but anyway <Speech_Male> if you're related <Speech_Male> to me <Speech_Male> statistically <Speech_Male> you're gonna love <Speech_Male> this book <SpeakerChange> the <Speech_Male> rest of you <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> know <Speech_Male> i <Speech_Male> just pray. Somebody <Speech_Male> gets saved by. <Speech_Male> That's that's you know <Silence> that the lord uses <Speech_Male> it to <Speech_Male> save someone <Speech_Male> in the process <Speech_Male> of saving someone. <Speech_Male> My hope is <Speech_Male> that One day <Speech_Male> when. I'm when <Speech_Male> i'm in heaven <Speech_Male> i will <Speech_Male> run into someone <Speech_Male> who says hey you know what <Silence> the lord use your <Speech_Male> book <Speech_Male> in <SpeakerChange> the process <Speech_Male> of <Speech_Male> calling me to himself <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> there. You go <Speech_Male> somewhere <Speech_Male> interchange <Speech_Male> that. What god does <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> he used. <SpeakerChange> That <Speech_Male> would be pretty cool to <Speech_Male> me So <Speech_Male> that's my <Speech_Male> prayer <Speech_Male> anyway <Speech_Male> Enough about that. We'll <Speech_Male> be talking more about that <Speech_Male> in coming weeks. <Speech_Male> In <Silence> the meantime <Speech_Male> keep <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> looking to the lord <Speech_Music_Male> and <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> keep <Speech_Female> looking to the lower looking <Speech_Music_Female> <Advertisement> toward the <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> bottom <SpeakerChange> and only <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> line. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> Well hey god <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> bless you and we <Speech_Music_Female> <Advertisement> will talk to you <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> next time. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> Have a

"Gonna do this all for his son it's romans eight thirty one there. We go right What then shall we say in responses if god is for us who can be against us versus two. He who did not spare his own son but gave him up for us. All how will he not also along with him graciously. Give us all things This is nothing that we haven't talked about before it's nothing new but sometimes it's the thing we need constant reminders of things absolutely when we when we're continually getting bombarded each day whether it's loved ones trials that way on us whether it's our own trials whether it's just the insanity that's going on in the world right now we do have to continually remind ourselves of these and reading read. The scriptures read read these verses all of scripture. Obviously but in what we're discussing now specifically this part of lamentations three and was really cool to is. I even got to use the the things that i wrote down this morning. I got to talk to somebody about and use them to encourage that person you know even today which again that's part of the ministry of what we do is brothers and sisters. Bryce you're not just in the word for yourself you're in it so that you can give a a morsel of it to someone else right you know and you can share hope with your brothers and sisters in christ anyway so praise god for his word as always we default. Don't the answer comes back to praise the lord absolutely sacrifice of praise on on the days that you're struggling to do that. It's the sacrifice of praise. Yeah so thank the lord. Thank thanks for his word you know he. He loves us. he's he's given us his word. He's gonna get us through this this life. You just keep looking to him every single day every single hour and he will get you through absolutely. Hey man hey I talked last week..

"And often we panic right. that's sorry. Kind of default mode is shameful and sinful as that is not because we think god won't deliver us but because he's not doing it soon enough for us or for our for our liking surreally. we're more alike saul in his rash sacrifice true than we care to admit. I'm just gonna go ahead and sacrifice it because he's not here. Sam samuel show up. So i'm just gonna god must mean that it i have to do it And then then we make massive everything or we sin and have the consequences of our sin before the lord. We just make things worse. Final thought on the whole whole thing. How about instead of only praying that the lord gets you through your present trials. How about taking the time not. Just pray lord. Get me through this trial. But how about thanking him in advance for it. When was the last time you in prayer. You amy you anthony in you. Listener was also thank the lord. Lord i don't know how you're going to get me through this present trial lord. Things seemed really hopeless right now but thank you. Thank you because your word tells me over and over and over and over again. You're going to get me through and it's the sacrifice of praise right and and you're right because that's my hair more often as well as i go through stuff like lord. Please allow me to allow me to remember what. I didn't do right the last time so i can do it right this time. Exactly but thanking him for it honestly doesn't cross my mind as much so it's a good point lord. I've been through this for two or three months. But you know what i haven't stopped say thank you because in the midst of all the insanity and the chaos of what's been going on thank you that you have comforted me in your word. You have given me a church family. You have been with me. In prayer you have encouraged me. You have you have given me promises that.

"It's true doesn't feel like it but it's true In fact he's already brought you through some duration of it in other words. You know if you've had one particular trial let's say you've had it for I don't know two or three months. You know you're waiting on the lord for something. Well he's already brought you through two or three months of it so he's already shown himself faithful For two or three months of it so you can't even say that one 'cause he's already bringing you through it and each one of those he's bring you through it already thus far you may not be out of the woods but he's guiding you through them still the lamp lamp to my feet. Yeah is a is as though you walk through the fire or the flooding. You're still gonna through it but the lord is getting you through it So that was the second question. I challenge myself with then third one and i've got four here okay based on promises scripture and your personal experiences what reasons do you have to be anxious or fretful this. This is my zinger question. I think it's all of us really. Is you know but these are the kinds of self counseling. This biblical counseling. We need to do with ourselves. We need to challenge ourselves and try to be objective to ourselves. Okay give me which promise or based on personal experience. What reason do you have to be anxious or fretful. No answers non so the answer for all of these afars okay. Fourthly thing about this right. Like i am. I'm fifty years old What's my life span can be could be ten years. My mother died at fifty. Nine twenty years could be thirty years longer. I could be forty plus right even if you're listening to this and you're twenty-five may maybe relax plane's gonna be seventy five four years in that space left of your life however long..

"You know being Chased by the king and and persecuted. Mind the free so forth but at the same time he was just part of what was going on at the time. Anyway this kind of got me thinking again. Seeing the difference appreciating a difference seeing the mercy of god and seeing again that how just how that yet stands like an everest in this chapter And it made me think of again. Just hope in trials for instance yesterday an opportunity to talk with the guy. I hadn't talked to in nearly a year the last time i talked to him with talked and he was telling me about some trial. The lord brought him through well. I'm sorry. I thought that he was in at that moment. It was a pretty severe that situation right. You know you're familiar with it so anyway. Fast forward these ten months nearly a year. And i got to talk to him. I said so. How're things going. you know how. How is that one situation where you're dealing with. Last time we talked and he just kind of well yeah. That's yeah that's over. And i told him i said well. That's great man. The lord broughton through that. Isn't that always. The case gone has us in a trial but there always comes a point that we can look back and say god brought us through it very true and it's just amazing. How each time though you don't you feel like you're drowning and you really have to force yourself to go back. Say yet and then remember. Okay wait a minute. The lord's done this before. He's got me through before and then related to that and sort of my third thought in all this. The fellas story was the second one just in thinking through trials and things this morning and all of us are waiting on god for something Right every every believer has got some urgent prayer requests to them. Whether it's a trial task of waiting for something you know. Whatever it is but.

"Isn't like that the lord gives hope jeremiah's misery goes on for another eighteen versus K. but then it radically changes in and it turns in verse twenty two with the word yet and is twenty one yet. I'm sorry. yeah i twenty one sorry and continues through at least verse thirty three jeremiah. Goes on and he says indeed has turned against me again again all day long. That was i three. He has made my skin and my flesh grow old and he has broken my bones. He is besieged me. Surrounded me with bitterness and hardship has made me to dwell in darkness like those long dead. He has called me in so i cannot escape. He has weighed me down with chains. Even when i call out or cry for help he shuts out my prayer. He is barred. My way with blocks of stone has made my paths crooked like a bear lying in wait like a lion in hiding. He dragged me from the path and mangled me and left me without help. He drew his bow and made me the target for his arrows. He pierced my heart with arrows from his quiver. i became a laughingstock of all my people. They mocked me in song all day long. Yes filled me with bitter herbs and sated me with gall. He is broken my teeth with gravel. He has trampled me in the dust. I have been deprived of peace. I have forgotten what prosperity is. So i say my splendor has gone all that i had hoped from the lord i remember my affliction in my wandering bitterness in the gall i remember them in my soul is downcast within me that's crushing. It is crushing. And it's it's definitely it's almost. It's almost more crushing than some of the passages and job Now again secular literature would leave it at that know and this is really even an argument for the inspiration of the bible compared to secular literature because again there are so many themes in the bible that if it were just men writing it may would never do. This men would never preach things like modesty temperance sexual purity all these things that men would never trish on those things and write a book together about it. Obviously there's so much more it can be said about forty different authors over a thousand years writing all with the same unity and so forth all of those testaments to the inspiration scripture but here again you would never see this kind of change in tone and this hope in utter devastation. Verse twenty one yet. It just stands. There just stands out necessary yet. This i call to mind and therefore i am hope so everything that follows what he calls to mind..

"In their so little redemption in so much of the world's literature and movies. I mean even the brief time that i remember researching about writing fiction One of the things. I remember was what makes great fiction. What makes great writing is to crush your character. The more you can torture and crush your character the better. The story the worst things that can happen to that character. It's interesting. I didn't know you discover that in your research. Yeah i remember a few years ago running that you know you go back and you think about some of the the secular storylines or even now if you go watch movies and things right. The protagonist is constantly crushed. Oh absolutely just re just watch. Movie trailers You have to watch the whole movie. Yeah in fact. There was a series and a few years back and that was really. The premise of it was that the protagonist was crushed over and over and over in these he ended up in these circumstances were that were just beyond escape but somehow he managed to escape obviously the story. Obviously part of this whole idea of of telling a story is that your protagonists comes under some sort of conflict and or pressure and in my world. It's a good story. Overcomes it right. Yeah yeah some some of the classic literature and that doesn't always happen. I hate the right. And that was my problem with james joyce in dublin. Because you read all of those stories ain't in an all the short stories and they all had really these miserable endings. There's no hope and right right. I'm not looking for pop. Wow i was at one time. But i'm not looking for pollyanna but come on right exactly but it seems like in secular literature. Yes the world's literature. Frankly the less hope there is. And let's hope it leaves you with The better the litter well there was just a series that we started to try to watch On amazon amazon prime show in remember it was each one was a vignette of a different thing. They're like and they were the darkest stories and not particularly good ending Either it just sort of trailed off with something that bad that happened or you news bad was going to happen in the end. I finally got to what was it. I watched like the third or fourth one. You a class or something. And i'm done. This is this. Is this just drags my whole head down. So yeah here's the difference. The.

"Uncovered the ruins of a large castle in front of which was a great open platform of brickwork the very place petra believed where jeremiah hid the stones. Okay so we don't know if that's the case or not but here's the interesting thing. Also nebuchadnezzar annals state that he did invade egypt in five sixty abc which was eighteen years after jeremiah uttered the prophecy that he would in forty three ten three of nebuchadnezzar inscriptions have been found near taff unease so fascinating eighteen years after the lord came back with this answer that. Do not go there. If you go there. I will destroy you bring nebuchadnezzar. It happened So the lord keeps his word. Whether it's four for good or ill right right. wheeler whoa. I like that one now. That's i appreciate those observations so a lot which is funny. Because i did underline at the end of ten days But i wasn't thinking about along those lines so which really goes back to what we talked about in our ultimate ultimate episode. Why read the old testament episode. You weeks back These are the reasons. Why you read the old testament. Because it's all god's word because god uses all of it to teach us and just in that little explanation there that it took ten days. God uses that and he'll use that in in my life and in your life to sanctify us. Remind us that it's everything. Every single thing is in. God's timing yes just like the just like the leaves that we started talking. All then happens exactly. According to god's timing not one leaf turns the lightest off shade of green from summer until the lord says okay now right And so it. Isn't your life believer that nothing happens in your life. Apart from god's sovereign control over it now awareness of Nothing is allowed in your life. Nothing happens in your life apart. From god's will doesn't mean god caused. It doesn't mean god brought pass. Sometimes it's just the result of your own sin my own sin other sin on you exactly living in a fallen world all those things. But it's all in god's timing.

"That jeremiah included ten days later the word of the lord came to jeremiah that that was a detail That the holy spirit had him include felt. It was important to add. Because really yeah. Could've just been jeremiah. Came back to the people which is what you see fairly regularly throughout the whole book and then you think of other examples again just kind of doing this mind map of getting you know thinking of all these other examples from scripture again. The scripture says the lord is not slack concerning his promises and ten days later. Lord answers well. The lord promised abraham a son and it was what ten years twenty. I seem more like twenty twenty five. I i think it was twenty five marine and again that wasn't it wasn't a specifically waiting on a reply from god answer from god in that sense but again it's it's all waiting on god's timing and so that's the encouragement for us today to keep praying keep seeking lord. If there's someone that you're praying for to be saved keep praying. don't stop. you may not get the answer in ten days like jeremiah did here now. You may not yet it in ten years. I mean look at George mueller There were what four. Yeah four of them. Four men that he was continually praying for for years and years and years for their salvation. He saw three of them come to the lord and lord called them to himself before he died but the fourth one didn't that didn't happen till after he adopt right the encouragement for us. Keep praying. wait. On god's timing you know i read something a few years back. It was pretty wise advice. That if you're contemplating a major life decision if you can wait seven days and pray about it do that. Sometimes you can't always now but that's a good but if possible seventy just to kind of let things settle and cool and not be so emotional about the thing and emotional are uncomfortable getting what situation as well. I just remember times. It's like. I just want this over with. I just want whatever it was by was feeling uncomfortable. Just be done. So i jumped the gun. So there's all different ways we can take this this verse and think about it. Look at it this way you think of this. You look at this way that You know pray. Don't give up praying for people you wanna see saved. But ultimately it's again remember that the lord the lord always answers prayer of his people You know this places in the scriptures where the lord doesn't hear the prayers of the wicked the prayers of those who don't know him.

"Hello. . This is peace out stories for coming down and relaxation. . My name is Chanel. . This season, , we talked about the life cycle of Pebbles Gio, , D- mice, , helium tomatoes trees, , Sea Stars Sea. . Salmon CICADAS and of course, , the T. Rex. . And now we're here. . At the last episode of our fourth season. . And it's all about you. . It's about us. . Human. . Beings. . Sit in a comfortable position. . Rest your hands on your knees. . If, , you'd like to lie down go ahead. . We're GONNA take our time settling into this first part today. . Close Your eyes if you'd like. . Breathing. . In and. . What's going through your mind right now? ? Our minds are always making thoughts. . So. . Sometimes, , it might feel like we're standing in a river. . The thoughts always flowing. . and. . They'll keep flowing and going. . and. . That's okay. . But sometimes it can feel like to watch. . If. We . need a break from the flowing thoughts instead of trying to stop them instead of letting the water carry you away. . There's always the option to. . Step right out of the water. . And sit on the riverbank and have arrest. . You can just sit. . And enjoy watching the water run by. . But you're not feeling the push of it. . Not Worried about where the water's coming from or where it's going. . And then when you're ready and want to get back into the cool water. . You'll be able to play in it and stand strong for longer. . If the flowing river our thoughts. . then. . That little break on the riverbank is mindfulness. . Mindfulness is about staying in the present moment. . Not Thinking about what's happened in the past. . Or worrying about what might happen in the future? ? Just being here. . Now. . Take notice of your breathing right now. . Is it slowing down Or fast. . Is it long and deep. . Or short shallow. . You don't have to change anything about it right now. . Just notice it. . Our brains are always working and making judgments on the information thoughts and experiences coming in. . If you've seen the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory You'll probably remember seen when Ruka Salt Sasi Geese that lay golden inks. . The golden eggs would come down onto the educators scale that would decide whether it was a good egg. . Or A bag. . Well, , of course, , in real life, , there are many more judgments beyond good or bad. . But, , the brain is like that educator. . Taking in each thought and making a quick automatic decision if it likes it and tells us that we should keep looking for these good things or doesn't like it and tells us to avoid these things. . Or maybe our brain is neutral about them. . We don't really have to pay attention or do anything about it. . That brings us to another big part of being mindful. . Letting. . Go of the judgment. . Our brains will always be judging the information coming in. . which is not a bad thing. . Let's say Mr Willy Wonka began noticing that there have been a lot of bad aches lately. . He might wonder. . Why are my kiessling so many bad eggs. . Are They not getting enough healthy food. . Not Enough water. . Maybe, we , should give them more to eat every day or something different to eat on Tuesdays and Thursdays. . Should I get the Olympus to check on the more? ? Are the bad eggs really that bad. . Maybe I need to think about how we measured what good eggs. . And change it. . Or maybe I need to let my geese run freely in a big field and not keep them in this room. .

"We persevere and persist also through repentance like we talked about and we do it through fellowship. We Fellowship with other Christians at Church and however we can we do. God tells us to in this regard therefore encourage one another and build one another up just as you also are doing first loans five one and Hebrews three thirteen but encourage one another day after day as long as it is still called today so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and as I said earlier above all we look to Jesus we don't look the furious squall of the wind and the waves we look at. Jesus just like we looked last time in episode fourteen listen to Hebrews twelve verses one through three. This is how the new American Standard Bible put therefore since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily tangles us and. Let us run with endurance. The race that is set before US fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and perfect there have our faith who for the joy set before him endured the cross despising the shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God for consider him who has endured such hostility by sinners against himself. So that you will not grow weary and lose heart. We are certainly in an unusual time as we considered an episode. Eleven is time requires us to have hope in episode fourteen. We saw how God tells us that we are to have patience. And today we saw how God wants us to persevere next time. We'll look at reminding ourselves about God's providence in our lives and how that too is another means we can encourage ourselves and other believers in these uncertain times. And then finally we'll consider how all of these roll up into one word faith. I hope you'll stay with us. And I hope you'll join us next time and the time after that and the time after that and so on just a couple of quick housekeeping items before we wrap up this edition of Grace and peace radio. "Outside. I thought it would be something. Good something different. You know right now around the country around the world. There's so many people that have a stay at home order and I thought I'm GONNA go ahead and record this outside. So hopefully you're hearing some birds chirping in the background lawn mower away off in the distance and I just thought you know what let's bring some life and some some outside into the podcast. How about that by the way? Also want to say you've you've already noticed I'm sure The name of the PODCAST has changed. that's right. We are moving from thy Kingdom Comma to Grayson piece radio so I am super excited about that You know it was something where Kingdom Comma. It was a play on words if you're writing and I was doing more blogging at the time but then as the podcast started taking off and going that direction I did less writing and more podcasting then the whole the hiking them comma. It didn't really make sense and I it was one of those things to it was a bit of a a logic gap. Go from the pithy of of what Kingdom Comma was and You know I just wanted to be playful. Turn of phrase and it it kind of was more confusing so anyway I was praying about it and I tried to come up with some and then I look to see and Lo and behold grace and peace radio was available so I jumped on it so yeah so I'm super excited about it because really As I read even this weekend in a biography of Brownlow north evangelist who lived in Scotland In the eighteen hundreds mid eighteen hundreds as he points out. You know you can't have peace without the grace that God gives grace and then you have the peace and I was thinking about that. I thought man. That's that's so true. Of course obviously all over the you know Paul's letters in the New Testament so anyway that's the story behind moving from the Kingdom Comma to grace and peace radio so I'm so glad you're here and we're going to keep moving on and I'm really excited to see what the Lord does with it. So thanks so much today. I just want to share a quick word of hope and encouragement. I know these are crazy times so I really liked to try to encourage people and give hope where I can so I wanted to read something out of what I read this week in my own Personal Bible reading and just share a few thoughts about it. It's coming out of Luke. Eight and it's versus twenty two through twenty five one day. Jesus said to his disciples. Let's go over to the other side of the lake. So they got into a boat and set out as they sailed. He fell asleep. Squall came down on the lake. So that the boat was being swamped and they were in great danger. The disciples went and woke him saying master. Master we're going to drown. He got up and rebuked the wind and the rain waters. The storm subsided. And all was calm. Where's your faith? He asked his disciples in fear and amazement. They ask one another. Who is this? He commands even the wins in the water and they obey him so of course they would eventually come to find out that he is of course the son of God he is God. Come down in the form of a man to atone for our sins and to save us from our sin. Well a couple of things I just want to point out about this real quick are the fact that it says And being swamped they were in great danger. It was real danger. I mean whatever was going on it was enough to make even The lifelong fisherman among them afraid it. You know real danger does come upon us but at the same time you know we can rest in the fact that the Lord is sovereign the Lord in control. Yes it was real danger. They weren't overreacting. But even in real danger there is no excuse not to have faith. There's no excuse not to trust the Lord in fact what's really interesting. Is We see after the resurrection when they are now totally. Different men What do we see we we see that they too? They had no fear in great danger. Right they were singing in prison. They were joyful and persecutions in the same way us to As we face whatever dangerous we may face in the world whether it's a virus weather it's economic whether you know it it impacts our own home whatever. The case is Jesus's authority just as he was sovereign over the wind and the waves that day. Jesus is no less sovereign over the world today over every single particle. I think it was RC. Sprawl that said that the Lord a sovereign over every molecule or every particle and. That's true so he is no less sovereign we can. We can rest in confident faith. Because he is in control and fact as I was reading in the psalms this morning in fact I was reading in Psalm. Seventy one I fourteen but as for me I will always have hope I will praise you more and more we. We always have hope if we if we know the Lord now at the same time we have to have to be asking Lord what why are you bringing this now? What what are you doing what you WanNa say to us and so really? This is a time where we as Christians. We need to be praying. We need to get along with God. We need to be asking him. Lord show me my heart. Show me my sin. Show me my complacency show me. What is Show me Lord how to to glorify you in this global pandemic Lord. Help me to use the time. Well if I'm if I'm stuck at home Lord help me not to fret helped me not to panic if I see empty shelves or anything like that and just trust that you're going to provide and help me not to do things that are going to cause me to fear to panic if it means turning off that he be if it means not visiting certain news websites Or you know just adjusting your schedule so that You're not so focused on the news. Whatever it is whatever. These things are not not snacking not not binging on junk food. That's GonNa Bring you down. Make you feel all kind of full fat and so forth So it's those kinds of things we can do. Our part is making sure that in all of this. We're still spending time with the Lord that we are making sure that we are in the word every day were in the scriptures where we're praying were earnestly seeking. God's face let me ask you something. When was the last time you got on your knees before the Lord? When was the last time you got prostrate before him literally faced down and saying Lord you know crying out to God asking Him Lord Show Me Yourself. Make yourself known to me in this time in your word speak to me from from your word. More is the last time he did that. Because this is really the opportune time to do. This is what God is sending all of this for us so that we would turn to him now. Not at all saying that this is a total apocalyptic judgment of God. We don't honestly know we don't know what the individual is just may be the beginning or this may be over in a month or so so we don't know but the point is as Christians. We need to look at this and say Lord. What would you have me to know from the situation? Regardless whatever the case whatever God shows us there is hope because the Lord is merciful the Lord is kind and he forgives and he restores and so we as Christians when we turn to him when we confess in one. We acknowledge where we have failed. Gone and we we come back and we say Lord you know I repent of these things. The Lord is Merciful and quick to forgive us because of Jesus because of what Jesus did for us we are covered by his blood and his blood has paid for our sins past present and future so I hope. That's an encouragement. Hope it's an exaltation hope is a challenge to you today and to me but less look to the Lord let us look to the Lord in hope and trust and watch his provision watch. How Watch what? He how he blesses us in this time and then through this. How can we communicate Christ to those around us? Who Don't know him. You know if you don't know Christ today you don't if you're not born again if you don't know Jesus as your savior and Lord and you've been neglecting him all of this. Has You jumbled and worried and afraid and panic and all that this is God's way of getting your attention One way anyway of getting your attention so that you will repent and believe the good news. Frankly so that a worse thing doesn't happen to you when you die and you go to hell. I don't want that. That's why I'm doing this this show so if you don't know Jesus pray that you would ask the Lord Lord wise all this going on and what is my part in it Your part the Bible says is to repent and believe the good news of Jesus. Christ thank you so much. Thank you so much for joining me today. Thank you for listening to gracing. Piece Radio pray that It is a blessing to you. And if you would share this with someone who may need some encouragement today or needs to hear this may God you the glory from it. So thanks so much. And until next time I'm Anthony Russo..

"To our our sermon or devotional. Whatever you WANNA call it. We're going to see what the Lord has for us in his word today. Read from the little letter of Second John. It's at the end of the New Testament and in verses five and six I'll read those and then we'll take a look at them and says and now dear lady I am not writing you a new command but one that we've had from the beginning. I asked that we love one another. And this is love that we walk in obedience to his commands as you heard from the beginning his command is that you walk in love really focusing on that last little part there his command is that you walk in love. What is the one distinguishing characteristic of a Christian? What should be the one thing that really sets us apart from everybody else in the world? Is he good works No right because anybody can do good works. Is it knowing the Bible is being able to quote the whole Bible? No because even somebody with a awesome memory could do that. The learner that Is being a nice person that what makes us a Christian? No I mean that's part of it but no because again. Everybody can be a nice person if they want to. How ABOUT GOING TO CHURCH RIGHT? No that doesn't do it. Plenty of people in Church. Who really aren't Christian. In fact there was an old saying that says that go in a church doesn't make you a Christian. Any more than McDonald's makes you a hamburger so that's not eh. How giving. What if we give where we give all our money? Does that make us Christian right over and over again? God's word makes it clear. The mark of a true Christian is love. It's love in this general letter right. It's not a letter to a specific church. Not like the letter to the to the Romans or to the Carinthian Churches a general letter the Apostle John Rights later in his life. And he's writing. We know if it's to a lady and her children or if he's using kind of a language a picture language there of to a church and its members now. I tend to think that it's the church members so okay. Nevertheless he's writing to remind them that the mark of a Christian is to obey God's commands. That's the mark of a Christian and the greatest command is to walk in love. So we're going to think about this. I read a look at this and say well. What does what has got. It mean when he says I'm to walk in love. I suppose to obey God's commands as mark that I I'm a Christian. Well what does that mean? How do I do that? Well the Lord in his kindness never leaves us without knowing. Of course to walk is a metaphor. Right it's a word picture. John is saying that every Christian should be living your life day to day in such a way that their love is obvious to everyone but what kind of love the word that John's using here. He's not saying it's just mere human kindness kind of goes back to the you know not just being a good person or conversation. It's this word love that God uses in the Bible to express father's love for Jesus within the Trinity but also God's love to us so it's a selfless love. It's giving love. It's a it's a caring love beyond just human kindness much much greater as we begin to think about. How do we then walk in loved right because a lot of people can walk in different ways you can walk in those people that they walking bitterness? All their lives are walking anger walking jealousy or or greed. God calls us to walk in love. Well how do we do that? Well of course the greatest example every time God gives a command we see in Jesus monarch monk for US demonstrated for us. I think back to two in the gospels. Where in Mark Chapter Five where? Jesus is stopped by Gyrus the ruler of the synagogue and he says my daughter is sick and you can come and you lanes on her. She's she's sick she's dying now. Jesus is there's a crowd around him he doesn't say well look kind of. I'm tied up until two. Jesus doesn't say look. I've got a really full day of ministry here check with Peter. They'll get you on my calendar. We'll get you squared away. Know the Bible says Jesus he goes and he so he right away he goes with him. Jesus is modeling walking. Love where he's willing to go and do that immediately. On the way what happens a lady who has a flow of blood for many years palms only I could talk to ham of Jesus's rogue I'll be clean. You might remember that because when we approached on that a couple of months ago and sure enough she was healed and Jesus stopped and he talked with her and he told her woman your your he'll any walked in love even then just stopping and addressing her and then. The story picks up with the synagogue ruler and Jesus goes and goes to his house but now the little girls did she did die but Jesus walking in love modeling that for US goes and heals her any razor up. You know razor from the dead and so Jesus is always patient. Always kind always willing right. Someone will say Lord if you're willing you can do this and he says if I'm willing you know and he does it. So Jesus our model always and he's modeled. Today's we thinking think about walking in love and of course the greatest example Jesus gave us about walking in love is when he walked the very steps to the cross and he died for our sins any died to pay the penalty for your sin and for my sin and all that you went through during his crucifixion. So Jesus Mal love for us. The Bible says it what God so loved. The world that he gave is one and only son whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus our model for walking in love so John is saying that as a as Jesus showed us what it means to walk in love and commanded us to walk in love so we show the world now that we love God by loving others loving God and loving others make sense so you must be sitting there thinking. I'm I'm very sick. I have a lot of energy. I can't go doing very much. I can't do things for others here. So how how can I walk in love? What does that how do how can I do that? Well we can all do something we can all love God and love others in some way. That's the beauty of the Gospel that God gives a command. There's always some way you and I can aim to fulfil it to obey so as we think about. How do we walk in love and we try to apply that to our lives today? Let's quickly of three ways. We can apply this Hey this is for all of us here. No matter where we're at mayor how healthy we are. How or how sick? We are whatever number one be willing. Are you willing as a Christian to walk in love? Are you willing you say Lord? I can't do this thing but I sure like to. If I more strength I I certainly would. Here's the here's the thing. Jesus is so good and so kind and tender to us that even if the weakest of his children can only want to do a thing for someone the Lord Jesus takes that and says I see that counts to me. Thank you and he sees what we want to do for him. Even if we don't have the strength to do it so even if you have no strength to serve others be willing to and the Lord sees that and he's pleased by that and you you you make him happy because he sees your heart in that. The Bible says he knows our frames. He remembers that we are dust. He knows our weakness. We just saying that. So be willing number one be willing to walk in love secondly pray. All of us can pray. Children can pray so you can pray you can even if your your prayers are just a word or even a grown is. They're just a heart's cry to the Lord. And that is your your prayer the Lord. Here's it we can pray one walk in live prey. What do I pray? Well you can worship the Lord you can thank him can talk to him and thank him and worship him for who? He is what he's done. How praying for your roommate if you have a roommate here. How about praying for your neighbor? How about praying for someone in the hall or if you hear someone hurting you can pray for that. That's walking in love for someone so we can prey. How about praying for the staff of thought about that? These are these are folks that worked so hard and they know they could probably make more money doing something completely different but they have a heart to serve people. That's that's how God wired that. And so you can pray for the staff because remember. They have lives outside of here as well. They have problems. They have bills to pay the got family situations. So pray for your staff so important and that's a way you can love that and walk in love and you can even tell them I prayed for you. That would mean a lot to them. I bet you can pray to walk in love so thirdly you can do what you can you can do what you can can you. Can you help a fellow resident? Can you can you? Can you do something for them? How in an encouraging word to someone? If you're able to do that. Can you offer an encouragement to someone either? Another resident or one of the staff. Do what you can can you? Can you smile and thanked the staff? That's something you can do to walk in love and you say well may maybe you say I had a stroke? I can't I can't smile anymore. That's okay you know what all of us in some way can can still smile right that. I'm really smiling but I am. Because you see it in my eyes so you can smile with your eyes to someone. And that's the way you can fulfil the command of God and Walk in love to the people around you and share the love of God do what you can and of course as we think about all this we can only fulfil the command God through the power of the Holy Spirit in US and he only comes into us when we're born again. We have repented and believe the Gospel believed that Jesus died for our sins. We confess that we repent of our sins and we believe the Holy Spirit comes into US fills us and empowers us and then we want to love others. Want to love God so these are some ways that we can walk in love. So I'm about out of time Lee with one thing. You're remember when you were a little boy or little girl and you're in school and yet homework. I really like homework growing up. I don't know maybe you did but I I sure didn't Well I'm going to give you some homework today but hang on it's it's okay. It's easy all your homework is to think this week. How Walk in love? If that's the the the main command that the Lord gives me as a Christian. See if you're not a Christian your first commanders repent and believe the Gospel but as a Christian that you're mean command is to love God and love others so your.

"Ps peace with a he said he felt me. Sorry. This is P set stories for coming down and relaxation. Our stories are mix of yoga mindfulness and imagination. We combine those as well as some fun facts and stories to help us, relax. We also talk about being kind and our emotions my name is Chanel. And I wanted to start today by sharing a new safe-space recording that one of our listeners senton, here's Lillian. Hi, my name is Lillian. And I'm five years old and my safe space is wedding. I am at my bedroom. My com space is a hall and by happy place is with my favorite Bunia little. Thanks bye. Lillian you're so lucky to have so many places where you feel safe calm and happy your bunny sons, very sweet. And so do you. Thanks so much for sending in your recording. Here's one more from Creena. She writes. Hi, my name is Karina. My safe-space is in my bedroom. I am also safe. When I listened to your podcast. How thank you Creena. We are honored that you feel safe. When you're listening to peace out. Let us know how you feel after today's story. Speaking of today's story, let's get right to it. What do you know about meteors? We'll get back to that. After the countdown. We always start with the calm down countdown. Taking deep breaths help. Our minds and bodies relax by bringing in more oxygen? It helps her body's lower stress circulate or blood better and makes our hearts beat more regularly. Let's imagine that we're astronauts about two rocket into space again, if you want close your eyes imagine that you're wearing a helmet that goes over your head and in front of your face. You can feel a bit of the weight on your shoulders. There's a breathing apparatus attached to it. So you can breathe even when you're in space, and there's no exception. It makes your breathing so different, and it feels different to try cupping your hands together and putting it lately over your nose and mouth covering them. Your hands. Just touching your face. Take a few deep breaths in here and notice how it sounds feels. How your hands back down? Take a couple of deep breaths and notice how your breathing sounds now. How it feels now? Good. We've got our astronauts seats onto what color is your suit. Mine is my favorite color green. We are also wearing heavy boots on our feet. Can you feel them weighing your feet down? If you're sitting sit up tall lift your heart towards space. Lift your chin. So that it is parallel to the ground. You can place your hands in your lap or on your knees. If you're lying down do quick top to Toews body skin. And notice where your body feels tight or uncomfortable. Shift around if you need to to get more comfortable. Going to count down from ten like a countdown to liftoff try this every time I say number breathe in through your nose breathe out in between the numbers. Ready? Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Seeks. Five. Four. Three. When.

"Hi there. This is Chanel. I write in peace out, and I'm so excited because by the time you hear this a finished children's yoga teacher training. This has been something I've wanted to do for a long time, and it's only been made possible. Now by some generous listeners who supported my fundraiser. Thank you again. I've recorded a special piece out story for those who donated a story that won't be available here. I've already sent out most of the stories, but I don't have everyone's Email addresses. So if you donate it to my go fund me a few months back and haven't received your story Cleese rate to me at peace out at bedtime dot FM. So I can send it thanks again. And I can't wait to take what I've learned at the training and use it to help make peace out better. Okay. Let's start. Tease out peace with he said he felt me. He. He he. Welcome to peace at stories for coming down n relaxation. My name is Chanel. We're about to head out to space, but first let's listen to our Mabel safe spaces. Here's Mabel Mabel in my spotted will my mom is. That's it guy. Thank you able you know, what your mom is who you feel safe with your safe-space. But I bet your her happy place really triassic in her. Let's clues. There is now. Whether you're sitting or lying down just notice how your body's feeling right now. Start at the top of your head. Is it feeling heavy tight? Are you scrunching up your forehead? If you are let it go. Your eyelids. Cheeks. Are you clenching your jaw? Let that go to mouth can be a little open. Check your neck are your muscles feeling tight. Maybe move your head around a little too loose in your neck muscles. How about your shoulders? If you're sitting try rolling them back gently because it can be easy to find yourself hunched over, I just didn't know self. Give your arms shake and let them drop down into your lap. Make tight fists with your hands squeeze. And now let it go. Feel your legs, relax. Legal your toes. And if you're lying down lift up, your legs a little off the ground and roll your ankles around slowly in a circle. And now the other way. And let them gently down on the ground. Take a nice deep breath in theor- knows now one two three and let it out through your mouth three to one in through your nose one two three and out through your mouth, three two. When when we're time breathing one two three and three to one. Let's pretend we're in a spaceship. It has gleaming white walls that curve up at the top lots and lots of buttons on the panel in front of you and round windows to look out of right now, you can see blue sky outside. We're going to do the calm down countdown to lift off into space. So we can look at a black hole. What we do this breathe in. When you hear a number and breathe out in between the numbers ready. Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Four. Three. Two. One. Use your imagination. Again, look out of the round windows. The blue sky has been replaced with darkness so deep the feel like you might fall into it. And actually where we're headed. You could fall into the darkness. We're going to visit a black hole today. We won't go to near it though. Because black holes have very very powerful, gravity the force that pulls things towards it. So anything around black hole would be pulled into it. A black hole will even absorb the fastest thing
