"Is what she does directing prisoners who may not have the chops of professional actors but have an intimacy with the material that doesn't exist anywhere else. When Claudius is in the chapel. And speaks about his sin and his regret. And his ability to undo it. It broke my heart. Because the man playing it Felt all of those things fully. And and, you know, I know these guys have deep regrets. But it was palpable. The audience was stunned. You could hear a pin drop And that was especially true with the inmate audience. He says, Oh, my offense is rank it smells to heaven has the primal eldest curse upon it. Elder brother's murder her brother's murder. Pray, Can I not breaking or not? The inclination be sharp as well. My stronger guilt defeats my strong intent. What if this curse in hand with thicker than himself with brother's blood? Is there not rain enough in the sweet heavens to watch it white as snow. My name is Edgar Evans and, uh, 39 years old and I played the King King Claudius in Hamlet and like a man to double business bound by standing. Paul's washer first began And both neglect. I don't consider myself no great actor or nothing, but I try to do the best I can. And when I did the speech, um I was looking upward. The chapel is at the incline there. And I was just looking up toward the top, and it's like no one was there, but me. Are literally I'm honestly you didn't see a soul in the chapel When I was saying this Maybe even and I'm just you know, I'm not saying this with it seemed almost like I was playing its actual, um, speech to God. You know what former prayer can serve My turn. Forgive me my foul.

"Such a way to condemn christians and get them to believe that they're not christians and call into question their faith and he's doing it in such a way where people who hear that sermon. I remember the first time. I heard that there was this sense of am. I truly a believer. Because he's using the law the future civil law to to garner holiness and this. I know this is so nuanced. And we're going to get into this later. We can't do this now. Which is kind of the purpose of the sr podcast separate from honor to kind of go into things a little bit deeper. But you can never use the. I use the law to encourage holiness and christians because it will only condemn them crush them and push them away from christ correct so i think just some clarifying comments at least from my perspective on this. I do think. I mean. I know in my own church. I preach the first use of the law to the saints pretty much every week but i do it in this way i am reminding us of our utter inability to keep the law and to do everything that god requires at that we might a new be reminded and be driven to christ and cast ourselves completely upon him even preaching. I use the law. It's more like guys remit like lest we get it confused. We can not do this right. And trust christ so that that is a i use of the law since but it is still not done with this kind of condemnatory edge to it That is often taking place like for example. You mentioned that. That sermon from paul washer from the other thing is whenever we talk about the third use of the law. The law for the christian cannot condemn. Can't nope and so our tone ought not be condemnatory as we are talking to people about how they ought to live. And we've made this observation before that a lotta times. The third use of the law to guide the christian is preached like. It's the first use which is to condemn and crush those outside of jesus who trusting in themselves and it it really is harmful because what you end up doing effectively as his unsettling every saint who is thoughtful and who has a tender conscience thinking. I've not really done. What god requires. That's right i mean. Two examples of the uses of the law that we use all the time. when would be seasons. Foro paul says info for those of you. That have been chosen. Walk in a manner worthy of which you've been called with meekness gentleness long suffering that those are commands yes. They are in relation to the nature of christ and the you should obey them. But they're not condemnatory right. He even says Peterson second peter. One nine he lists all these things that are godly obedience and he says. If you're not doing these things you have forgotten that you've been cleanse from your former since he's not condemning the believer because there is no condemnation for those who are in christ jesus but he is saying you're in. You're not a very effective christian. The to condemn a christian by using the law.

"So that makes it easier to wash their ponds. I gotta get a dog, Paul Washer. I gotta do that. I am. I used baby wipes to clean her. You know, because I wanna make sure that her Area is very clean. You know, on a date. See, this is how exciting my life is telling you all across the country about baby wipes in the dog. I'm just saying it works for the For the dog owners out there. Baby wipes work very well for the dog, All right? Nancy. Thanks for being a voice of reason. I'm from Pennsylvania still feel like they're on answered election questions, and it frustrates me. The large part of the U. S. Will never have answers and were made to feel like we're crazy if we raise any questions My husband and I stopped listening to Fauci. Once he admitted to lying. We have been researching our own info. Thank you for being the voice for so many of us Wolf Nancy. Thank you for listening. And thank you for being the reason I can have a voice like this spokes like you listen. And Yeah, I find just I find it so so deeply. I really mean this so deeply UN American. And therefore it's very troubling, very unsettling. The way in which we are told to shut up. Be quiet and listen to what we're told now. I find that Really troubling. I'm really do not like this. You know, we're not allowed Todt an ask for the explanation. Can't even put out there the question without being attacked and without even suffering consequences for asking the wrong kind of question about things like an election or about things like, you know, the medical benefits of a nationwide mask policy or something and a lot to ask these questions, and I think that's I think that's really deeply troubling, and I think it's something that we should all be very worried about, because it just means that we're moving away from some of the most. Precious things that we have in our society. Brandon. Hey, Buck. I think the Republicans new motto should be you first whenever Democrats want to have the Republicans reprimand a person for their spoken word. Response would be you first. When Biden wants your job to go away and you learn to code our response should be you first when they decide to send our boys away to fight another useless war. Our response should be. Yep. We get it. Brendan, I agree with your sentiment. I'm not sure that it would really stop them from doing and saying the things that they do, but I appreciate we're coming from with it and On. Certainly, hypocrisy continues to be one of the great Failing of great points of failure for Democrats, so That's that's something that's not going to change any time soon. And yes, I mean, I had the level with John Kerry. I didn't We didn't play this in the show we might tomorrow. You know, there's this. There's this clip of him going. He's flying to Iceland. Just not not a people. Long flight from the eastern United States at least It's fine to Iceland any. He takes a private jet to wake to get a climate change award in Iceland. That private jet flight means that he put out in one day more CEO to than you and your family probably will in a year. And or whatever the metrics or I don't know, but it's something crazy like that. And his response was well, This is really the only the only choice for people like me. Yeah, Four guys, you become super rich by marrying a divorce. A from another super rich guy like that's That's what John Kerry means He's important and powerful and really rich. Because he is on. So that's how this works. That's how this goes. Like Of course, he's taking a private shed. You should ride a bicycle when you want to go to Iceland and how that works, Whatever. You know, maybe maybe you find ah, piece of like floating glacier or something that you can get on and hope that it takes you to Iceland on your bicycle. And, of course, absurd, But you get what I'm saying. Your suffering. Your inconvenience is irrelevant. The climate change to the climate change zealots. They don't suffer through that stuff, though, of course, and you're not allowed to notice that if you notice that you're part of the problem. If you notice that it's it's on you. All right, Richard a buck. Buck Rogers is amazing. It's up there with Princess of Mars and Flash Gordon. One reason I love Elon Musk is he took the old iconic space rocket that's always depicted in those shows. And they made that design work soon. People will be going into space on rockets that look exactly like Buck Rogers Rockets. How awesome is that? Keep your ray guns at the ready and your eye on shields. Hi. Richard. I like it, my man. Great message. Thanks So much for writing in and I'm excited to check out this new buck Rogers thing because then hopefully people will know my name and stop making dumb jokes about it. I've heard all the jokes. I've heard them all million times. They do not. In fact, it funnier overtime. Just saying Stay tuned for the Mark Levin Show right after Buck Sexton on talk radio 6 80 wcbm. Are you worried by the market or the value of the dollar? What's the stock market doing today? How about next month or next quarter? "Let me read a passage of scripture for you. Sound over here. It's referred to as. The. Romans road. It's very common scripture among. Protestants. As they look at a model for. How. To evangelize the lost. Romans ten. I'll begin reading with verse eight. The RAIMO is near you in your mouth and in your heart. This is the word of faith which we preach. That, if you may confess. Lord Jesus with your mouth and may believe with your heart that God raised him out from among the dead ones. You will be saved. For within the heart one believes unto righteousness. And with the mouth confesses under salvation. For. The scripture says everyone believing on him will not be put to shame. For. There's no difference between Jew and gentile for the same. Lord. Is Lord of all being rich under all the ones calling upon him indeed, whoever may call upon the name of the Lord? WILL BE, saved? How then will they call upon whom they have believed not, and how will they believe whom they have not heard? And how will they hear apart from preaching? And how will they preach if they are not sent? What do we do with that is that is that passage init- alone. Is that true? Were in deep trouble. Because in America we have preached. And I have as well. A Gospel. Of believing in Jesus. And trusting in Jesus. And saying that that should save us. But the fact is trusting Jesus and believing in Jesus. Does Not Work Righteousness in a man's life. That's reality Paul Washer said this morning. Believing in Jesus entrusting Jesus should cause a man. To. Repent of his sins. To turn from wickedness. and to be born again. All of that is true. But it doesn't work that way. You can believe in the name of Jesus. You can call upon the name of Jesus. And still be lost and still go to hell. Because believing on the name of Jesus and trusting Jesus. Does Not Work Righteousness in a man's life. The problem is we have preached the Gospel in America. That does not work righteousness in a man or woman's life. And if there is not righteousness in the man's life except that, which is called imputed righteousness. It's phony Baloney, it's not real. It will not stand the test of time. It's cultural. It's a part of the. Very fabric of the American church. But it's a lie. It's just not true. Because you see a man who trusts in. Jesus. A man who believes in Jesus. Is still a sinner man? He's not saved. That's reality. You've heard me say this before and I'll. I'll emphasize it again today for you. We do not cherry pick certain passages of scripture out of the Apostle Paul. And say, okay, this is our truth. And we stand on this truth that Paul says, righteousness comes from believing in Jesus that by the way is a true statement but not as it stands and not as it is stated. You. Can't cherry pick. Out of the Scriptures, a passage of scripture, and then build your theology around that, and again I wanNA come today and ask you the simple question. Are you willing. To look at the scriptures. And except the whole truth that is revealed there. Are you willing to take the scriptures. At their word. and. Believe it. But not a passage of scripture. Plucked out of. Context. That we then say as we do about. Revelation, a Romans the Tenth Chapter We pluck that whole passage out of context and we say now okay this is the way of salvation. When it's not And many who believe just as it says in Romans ten. WE'LL GO TO HELL Because it's not the way of salvation. Something dreadfully wrong. In the American church we are in an absolute crisis. There are very few real Christians in. America. Well, there are many Christians who say they are Christians and who say they follow Jesus Christ? But they have admitted very essential elements. For the salvation to work in their lives. Have you done that. Now, what I'm going to share with you is not. But I'm. Not. Interested. In. Pretty. I'm interested in real. I'm interested in the truth. And remember, and I'll say this again. I always interpret the writings of the apostles. Through the Lens. Of Jesus Christ. I interpret..

"It's true. But we have a problem. Paul Washer has been preaching this message for a long time. And I also preached that message for a long time and the modern churches preaching that message. Bottlewasher went on to say. We are saved by faith in Jesus alone. But we have a problem. It's a very real problem. And the problem is this. Faith in Jesus alone does not bring righteousness. Now, I know. The modern churches answer to that. which is very simple but ally. They say if you put your faith in Jesus Christ. You are saved. Because Jesus, impute his righteousness to you. So now you're saved and you're on your way to heaven. But is that true? No it's not true. You're not on your way to heaven. Hell is going to be filled with people who believed in Jesus. Healed is going to be filled with people who trusted Jesus for their salvation..

I think back to You know reading the grating, and I think back to Edwards and Whitfield Gilbert tenant. Men like this to would you know The whole point of the great awakening was this incredible revival that took place I in America and beyond at the Gospel was proclaimed. An these Presbyterian preachers would preach these these these incredible sermons that would do everything that we've talked about right. They would talk about the doctrine of God the doctor to sin or need for a savior, and again you can't understand salvation and savior without understanding sin, right people would be. This book says they would be wail. Over being broken over their sin, and there were so many converts. There were so many people who were professing faith in Christ But, but when you read the great awakening, you will see. That, one of the things that these pastors and niece faithful men fought against was those false conversions was were people that would say that they they were profess Christ, but they didn't possess true religion. How great awakening words that and so so these men would meet with these people you know is about George Whitfield George Whitfield going approaching these sermons and revival, breaking out true movement of the Holy Spirit, and were the Holy Spirit is convicting of sin, and and regeneration is happening, and and people are getting it, but but again they would spend the time. To to do that right to to shepherd the the the flock of God and and providing an and being proving to be examples to the flock as as as I, Peter Five, three says and. You I think about Paul Washer right at for praise mill. The last time we were there, he said look. I've got to get on a plane. "He's worthy of all reverence, and then knowing that we bring our request to him and I think he uses circumstances like what happened to you guys this weekend to remind us of those things, and as you said, it's often those things that will bring about salvation Y-. Talking about what's going on in the world right now. I mean utter chaos. I mean it is insanity. You know we we are watching. You'll people literally. I was telling this to someone today. We have people who claim that they are anti anti-fascist, and they are doing the things that the Nazis and the fascist did. In order to take control and have a revolution it's it's very very bizarre. ignorant, very ignorant of history and yet still think they're on the right side of history very interesting, but God is using this house. He using that I think he's you know we as Americans have been so prideful about who we are as Americans. The God says, let me show you. How just how valuable? Is In my estimation as far as a nation goes, and he takes his hands off this idol that we've worshiped for so long, and he says let me show you what it actually is. It is a nation full of sinners, reprobates and you know. Absolutely debased people let me just pull my hands of restriction away or restraint away and show you what you really are. and. We are watching the very fabric of society in so many places just be ripped asunder. and. Some of US may look at that, and we'll God what. Why aren't you helping us? We're crying out to you. I think there's a certain aspect of that I, think he is I think he's showing us what? This nation really has been built upon for the last several decades, and that is absolute. I I'd dollar tree. And he you know it's Paul Washer that said not long ago and he took a lot of heat as I recall..

It is a good thing for churches to watch him as while you're speaking I was listening in also going through some of the questions, we can get ready for QNA. A lot of questions are coming to deal with the fact of. How do I get my family out of were to face? Any are and I. Think just you know you'd agree. One thing that is very helpful is to get your DVD series. Clouds without water to and just show it. It to them I? Don't know how many people I've heard testimony have just watch that and they didn't see you know what these Charlton's were doing. Until it was put in a context and all sounds like Oh and part of this, so that's a good resource to have yeah by God's grace Yeah I've had a lot of people on a daily basis. I get emails from people all around the world that the the Lord is used that to help open their eyes and. It's a you know if if someone is one of the marks of a Christian, is that a a genuine Christian can be an error, even serious error for a season once they're shown the truth, if they truly belong to Christ, and they see the true from God's word, then you would expect that person to bend the knee to the truth and what we see happen with a lot of people. Obviously, everybody's GonNa been there because hot. Christian is a Christian, but those who are they would been there. You'd expect them to have been there need to the truth, and so go right there to Justin Peters, dot org and get get it. There question it is coming up. "Yeah, Amen, well, it's interesting because we just had a wonderful time two weeks ago and yesterday as well just looking at what is called the new birth N. N Just Been Dissecting John Chapter three and it just so rich and so deep I know that I really didn't truly understand all the theological richness of the new birth, even when I experienced the new birth looking at the scripture now I mean it is just really an amazing thing. I knew very little at the time I was born again, and now just looking at the reality of what God did. It's like there's just volumes of depth there that just ause my own soul well. I'm glad you know logo more still know very little. but but like I said I it's. It's a beautiful thing I think you know reading devotional. Reading for pleasure, but but I think there's something to be said for studying the word of God and I think studying income passes all of those things right because it forces you to go a little bit deeper, and and I think this is what we're going to do. Today is try to go a little bit deeper and I think I think there's a lot of people who are believers were truly saved truly been born again, and they just don't think too deeply about what it means to say they don't. They don't really think about salvation. That's of. It is something that they've. They've experienced and now they need to work on something out and and. I think the one thing we do know. Is We never leave that? That's that's the foundational part that's supposed to be reminded refreshed every single day. Yeah, yeah, I think it was Paul Washer who said many people treat salvation like flu shot. I got that shot now I'm GonNa go onto something deeper as you just said. But what's deeper than the Gospel You could fill in the blank. There I'm just waiting. You're going to wait a long time. That's right. There's there's nothing deeper than the Gospel I mean it is past present and future It is what saves me. What keeps me saved and went brings me all the way home one day in heaven, and as we were looking at John Chapter Three. You know it's interesting. Because this was the man that approached Jesus was Nicodemus and Nicodemus was one of the San. He driven when he was one of the Pharisees I think there are about six thousand of them at the time. But. He was in the elite navy seal class. Call the Sand Hadrian, which were seventy two men and He was even among that group. He was the cream of the cream of the crop he he was called a teacher of Israel and he. He met Jesus. He came to Jesus by night. you know, so he came you know like Jewish, ninja-like here and you know he asked Jesus. Jesus the question and he calls Jesus, a man come from God or a rabbi. Come from God and what I find very interesting about that is that he was a little off said. We know that you are a teacher. Come from God because this. He wasn't a teacher. Come from God, but rather he was God come to teach you see. Interpretation is very important, isn't it? I mean just the way. Way that that is said and understood in in the realistic way. Nicodemus had the wrong interpretation of WHO Christ was even at the initial conversation he was having with him. Definitely definitely, and I think every interaction that was had by men was always misapplied. And you know it's understandable because you know he's a creator of the universe..

God more all right. Well I'm your host Andrew Rappaport. Welcome to another rap report. We're glad to have you with us would really looking forward to today. We're going to have someone on who has produced a film that I could say literally has impacted the world. How do I know that well many of you know that I have been travel and speak? I've traveled around the world but I've gone as far as the Philippines. That's about as far as you can get from where I live. It's literally the other side of the world and even while as the Philippines. I had so many people that had been impacted by this film. And we're talking about it so many that said they came out of Carrie's mania because of it they were so involved in in a false gospel and that film is American Gospel. Which kind of sounds weird? It's American Gospel and yet they're having this problem in Philippines in Mexico and everywhere else but I wanNA welcome Brandon Kimber. Who is really the director of the one that I've only seen behind the camera all the time. I've never seen anyone else when I've seen him filming so I think he's a one man shop he says he's not but I think it's. It's all more all his brainchild but brandon. Welcome to the RAP report. Thanks for having me. Andrew so literally you call this American Gospel. This has literally impacted the entire world. I mean there's this issue that you presented as an American Gospel issue has been an issue that really we. We ended up seeing everywhere. You started with your your first film. Which was Christ alone which has been out since two thousand eighteen but today we wanNA talk about your second one. You're the Chri- Christ crucified. Which came out just last year. But I WANNA I asked. What was your thinking? Why did you start the American Gospel which I guess right now is kind of a trilogy but maybe not because I know you're working on third one? What what was your thinking. Why did you start it? And did you ever think you would the impact that it has but this started really based on my own experience in struggling to understand the Gospel here in America I grew up in that kind of charismatic hyper. Charismatic type of church influenced by the word of faced doctrine. I would say that the Gospel wasn't very clear there was a really unbalanced view of God. I didn't really understand how grace and justice and righteousness kind of work together in the Gospel. Message in the Cross. I think my old pastor was very focused on grace like his. He would be the kind of guy that would say. The God of the Old Testament is different from the god of the new. He'd say things like I'm a New Testament. Preacher not an old testament preacher but I was aware and heard about the reality of Hell. I think at a young age. My parents took us to this. This play called Heaven's gates Hell's flames were S- kind of like you see stories of people dying and then standing before God and they either go to heaven or hell. I think that was pretty terrifying for me but it led me into this idea that you needed to ask. Jesus into your heart to become a Christian and I was very confused by that. Probably said that prayer hundreds of times and it wasn't until I was in college where I was introduced to the clear Gospel through the Internet and just discovering sermons online and it was just a a journey of hearing the Gospel that way and slowly realizing that the church that I was in was preaching moralism basically like moralistic preaching. Eventually I I left that Church. Even at the end of creating that first film we left that church just through this whole process but I yeah like you said. The impact has been incredible. It's in about sixteen languages right now. People all over the world are reaching out volunteering to do you know translation for subtitles. It's a spin by God's grace I you know I did not expect at all. But it's had a huge impact. Well let's start with the just briefly because maybe someone's listening and they they haven't watched the first one the first one. You actually started with the project where you kind of put out a trailer. You interviewed some people. Get some folks and put that out for kind of a concept. I guess for people like you who ended up getting in there. Because you've got some pretty big names in the first and the second one I think the second one maybe even more so just for folks who may not know just for background really quick. What was the the background of how you put that together? How did you? How do you into planning some of the interviews? You did just like oh I want to be in that or were they a little bit fearful. Because I think there's at least one who person who's a little bit fearful. The process is pretty difficult. I think over the course of three or four years and I started in twenty fifteen and started doing research and reaching out to people and I started interviewing people pastors and friends of mine kind of locally in my area and I created a concept trailer using those interviews along with like clips of some of the bigger named people and I put that out there as just kind of a way to show people that direction of the project. The problem I encountered was when you when a complete stranger a nobody contacts you to do an interview about the Gospel. I don't blame. I wouldn't blame a person for not trusting me because this is a topic about eternity. You don't want someone to take. Your words out of context may look like a heretic so I had some difficulty in getting people to participate of the one example would be maybe Paul Washer. I think he had some negative experience in being in volved in a film before where the producer of that film turned out to be a cult leader or something and they wanted to get him out of that film and were having some legal issues with that so he didn't want to deal with the trouble of being in another film so he declined at first but I ended up going and visiting his church which was nearby my in laws in Virginia and I talked with them in person and you know eventually we made an agreement that he would. He would do an interview But he would hold off on signing his appearance. Release until after. He saw the completed film and approved. And so I kind of use that as a way to get people anyone who maybe was having trust issues. I just offered you know. You don't have to sign here appearance to release until after you see how I use your footage so that really helps especially with the second film where I interviewed people who were in the Progressive Camp. You'll you're pretty intimidating guy. I've been around your very intimidated. You know one of the things is that you did the this one. We WanNa Talk. About the Christ crucified. One of the things that I saw this when I saw the film and unite talked about your privately was the fact that you did allow these guys to explain their view. I mean there I would say a good portion maybe quarter of the film is actually the Progressive Christians making their case and then clearly being completely shut down by the likes of every solid. You had you had Paul Washer. You had filled Johnson yet. Justin Peters there's even macarthur and you you you got the heavy hitters just like okay. Let's let's demolish what they said? But I think one of the things that you did so well is let them speak is to let them be able to say in their own words and you gave enough to give that they have the context. I mean this is one of the things that I hear about my book. What do they believe? Is I know that most people don't have a Koran or a book of Mormon or things like that so when I would quote these things I mean. Just give.

Come to the RAP report with your host Andrew Rappaport where we provide biblical interpretation and application is Ministry of striving for eternity and the Christian podcast community for more content or to request speaker for your church go to striving for eternity. "I bet you can remember a time when you were a little boy or a little girl and someone some grownup joked with you the wrong way and either you took it wrong or they said it wrong or you became the butt of the joke and everybody was laughing at you. It's happen probably to all of us. What are some principles we can look at? That will help us when we try to joke with children. What is healthy joking with children? What does that look like? And how can we joke in appropriate ways with children will talk about that today on Thy Kingdom Comma welcome to the Kingdom Comma is Christian living blog and podcast dedicated to engage in conversations about applying God's word to everyday life? Thanks for joining us for today's episode on your host Anthony Russo and. It's my hope that you will be encouraged. God will be more and with that. Let's start the show. Recently I was sitting at a table. A bunch of guys all but two of us were fathers and the question came up about what's appropriate when joking with your children. What's healthy joking with your kids? And what's not? Surprisingly one of them looked at me and said that would be a good topic for you to write about on your blog since trying to include more resources here to help parents. Even if I'm not one it a half bad idea so I took up the challenge as I thought about what healthy joking with kids should look like I came up with seven principles and I thought these are seven principles that I would put into place if I had kids now. I understand what you might be thinking. Especially if you're a parent. Hey you have no idea what it's like you don't get to say about parenting. I get that at the same time I love what Paul Washer said one time and I'm GONNA paraphrase. He said I've never been crucified. But I preach about the cross and even today one of my pastor's reminded me that as pastors they often have to counsel in situations that they have never experienced themselves so ultimately all I'm doing is thinking through biblically. What's appropriate for joking with children? Now let me also before we dive in and let me give a personal story. When I was a little boy my grandfather on my mother's side had a common door Actually had to one after the Diet. He got another one. A commodore is a Hungarian sheepdog. It's K. O. M. O. N. D. O. R. Go look it up. Actually I post a photo on the website When I post this episode and commodores a large dog and it's got these really thick Braids cords it's amazing. It's like a dog with dreadlocks. Is about the best way I can explain it? It's a beautiful dog anyway Of course I was a little boy and my grandfather joked that the next time I came up to visit he was gonna get a saddle and I was GonNa ride on on on the dog and so of course as a little kid. I was all excited. 'cause I like that dog and that was gonNA be fun well. I was really disappointed to learn that. No actually he was joking. So no saddle no ride in the dog and that. Ba meow. Now I'm not saying that because forty some odd years later. I'm scarred by the memory. That's not the point. The point is I haven't thought about that in years but as I started thinking about this whole idea of healthy joking with kids. That memory came to mind. So that's just a good example of one aspect of of joking so we're going to look at this more right after right after this right. Come back from break. If you like what you're hearing would you sign up to get email updates when he'll get out whenever a new episode or a blog post appears? All you have to do is go to die king.

Yes and I hope that folks you're hearing in his voice the compassion and that's do we need to present people and we share the Gospel. It's not just hey I got this five point outline. Let me You're you're you're you broke law you're guilty and going to hell you can't save save yourself. It's people could tell if someone's doing something from Rotin but they can also tell as we're hearing your voice they could tell when someone is really carrying about where they spend. And what what does king subjects do. What does he his children do? They serve him and it's a joy. Serve me it is you know. It's it's just neat to see. I mean this is the thing that I found so interesting with you. Even when you came over by table you're you're dissection encouraging person to speak with your your mindset is just so clear in you know it was interesting the other night A couple a couple of US Paul washer disappears myself. A couple of others were like five or six talking and afterwards just ask me. He's like what do you think about. You know Paul Washer that it comes in and he says it's and this is the same thing I'm finding with you. It's that it's so clear with the issues that we're talking we're going back and forth discussing social justice and and politics goes like he goes. I should be in the jungle somewhere because I don't understand these people all the politics. He's this about Jesus Christ Christ coming to Earth shedding his blood for us. Like why do we worry about these other things. Focus on the Gospel. And that's we're here with you as well. It's like all these distractions that we could have. They don't seem to distract you. Because you seem to be fixated on the most important thing God and sharing sharing has good news and that is the most important thing and Christ told us as a body of believers that we're to love one another an and by our love for one another the world would know him and see him and that's what breaks my heart about the social jazzy. Yeah 'cause I mean you know the world should be seeing us as loving one another and and praising God and worshipping him and and just live out his fullness in our life every day he put us here and just think it must have been wonderful to be in a garden and and not have seen and that's the other joy I'll look forward to no more sin Ah hated in his am and you know I'm not sitting here so saying I'm perfect Kazaam far from perfect and that's the thing that the world needs to know. Christians aren't perfect we're centers and we still have to beg repentance from a true and living God that's that's right. Well listen as we wrap up. I can't just you know here we are. We're at G.. Because you seem to be fixated on the most important thing God and sharing sharing has good news and that is the most important thing and Christ told us as a body of believers that we're to love one another and and by our love for one another the world would know him and see him and that's what breaks my heart about the social jazzy disaster. Three were at the striving for Turney booth that is also Christian podcast community booth and yet I'm seeing you we're a t-shirt it looks at the bar podcast Biblical and reform so for folks who don't know this. "So i don't really know why we have to deal with this and while we have to go through things like that but i know that god is in control of every situation and that got us got us soffer meaning he's in control meetings ultimate minute these supreme and he knows what's best you know i was thinking of a story there's a sermon that by david wilkerson i'm going to share this that he'd he'd shared he'd went through a lot of adversity have you ever noticed that you know paul washer had said that a lot of a lot of great great ministers their first years and that could be many years there i many years of ministry is met by much much frustration much trouble much much add at adversity many hard times it's met with that is it anyways david wilkerson we're going through he's going through some of these hearts on the news was talking to his actually his wife had just finished with her chemo believes she had pancreatic and just finished with chemo and was coming out of that and they had just received a phone call that his daughter had gone into stage four cancer and so they rush and got on a flight and flew down there i believe is in plano texas where there was at and they got to the hospital and they realize they wouldn't let her in the room because they were they were shooting a room with radiation trying to take care of her and he said he left and he went down to this drove down to these back roads back there in plano and just started crying out for the lord just started weeping and crying authorities said he was there for two hours this weeping and crying out to the lord you said that the holy spirit stopped him and spoke to him and he said he said david he said who's our father you said well lord you and i we are father said well who has raised your and who has taken care of her and who is he was brought her this far said well lord i guess that would be you and i and then he said the lord said and he said who's knows what's best for her he said well lord you doing you know what's best for her and so sometimes we just gotta look at these situations and realize god is in control of these situations so what can we learn from adversity up romans eight twenty eight this has also been verse it's helped me and we know that all things work together for the good of those who love god to those who are called according to his first this verse memorize evers is helped me through a lot of things helped me through a lot of hard times if we look through the bible and we look at majority of the people that were in the bible that god used went through some hard times went through some difficult things but but the first part of that verse you gotta look at the very first part of that verse and what does the first half of that verse to those who love god those who love god and so it's gonna work out if you love god these hard times are going to work out if you love god i heard an old preacher said that ghana pull you pull you through a novel if you can stand the pulling and that's the truth sometimes sometimes you just got to be able to say and it said paul said he said your hardness as a good soldier of christ we just gotta endure we just gotta hold out to the end it's all going to work out and so basically getting back to job job came to this conclusion gods god's in control of everything is god basically basically told her to be said job were you there when i created the earth were you there when i formed the planets were you there when i started to no job was not you said so you don't you said.
