"They were Children. At that time. They were your age. On that bus all the way down to a tee to show people exactly exactly who perished and who was on that bus. But with all that said, Did it. Take a while? Because this is something you can never get over. Did it? Take a wire was their guilt of you saying, Why did I get to live and the others didn't And how long did it take you to be able to speak about this? Yes, it's me. Honestly, I'm 48. I did not get my head straight. Jonah was 33 years old. I was With a survivor's guilt. And then part of my back now follows the fanatic. So I was dealing with that part of my life in this time, But yes, it was always for me because I grew up in a crazy home. You know what Oliver and all those other died, and it just was a really fight to get my life back on track. Once I did I just got started talking to me about making a positive and I just really don't want it. I don't want to see any way of dying from a drunk driver. And I started thinking about my prayers along with the rest. I don't have a boy. They were so young, and they don't have a voice that told me I need to make a voice. You are really wanted to hit people really hard to make him think Britain and driving on in our society, right? I know that, But when you step on that bus, same make model and make them that's what I do. And you do as long as I could. I've been on that bus and it is for lack of a better word. No pun intended. Sobering. It's very somber. Ana really knocks you in the face. Paul Ridge Walls. He was the prosecutor on that case, and he caught the case because the prosecutor in Carroll County had a heart attack. Is that right? Paul? And that's why it switched to the nearest prosecutor. And that was you in Louisville. No, hey, became incapacitated. Had a heart attack and what state police because it needed somebody in the early stages of that first week that it happened of I rechecked the attorney general's office director, special prosecutions with time and Frank and I got, Um and you had to be at least 15 or 16 if that was 32 years ago. Because there's no way you're that old now. Paul Ridge. Walski, right going on. I'm going on. Paul. Quentin, Man. What you do with us Every single year of this time is so important. And you're both. You're both, I think, convey that urgency that we all have to try to get two people dead. Just make that next right decision of either putting the keys down or planning ahead if you're going to have some cocktails, and it is summer it's one of those times where you have that sort of you. Look at your friend. And you're not sure if you should Take the keys from him or not, or just have a conversation about getting over lift. But you guys are champions. And and we love you dearly. And Quentin and Paul. Thank you for telling and sharing your stories today. Okay? Quentin is always great to be with you. Thank you to Paul. Bye, guys. I appreciate it, man. Have a great day, too incredible, man. Right there telling you, man, if you if you ever get a chance to get on that bust, Quentin takes it around to schools. Churches everywhere you get on that bus. I can see it now. And I could see the faces on that. It makes an impact man and that we have a almost an hour long interview with Paul. We need to get that out somehow to everybody listened to hear the entire story. It's It's so compelling it is, it really is all right. "How you way want to talk to both of you all, But this is a segment we've done before, And it's one of the most powerful segments that I've ever been part of. And the first time that I sat across from me Paul Ridge Walski who is actually the prosecutor on this I noticed that it was 20 plus years later, and you were recalling first and last names of witnesses, family members. It has been almost like it was happened just today or yesterday and I know that impacted you and I have to ask you again. Is it hard? That's a weight that you have to carry. This was personal to you as well, right? Here yet what it was, and he was 32 years ago. Okay? On May, the 14th. And on and I think one thing that Tony just said if I ever challenging because he's never wrong, But he thought it was the worst bus crash, so that's true. But it was infamous because it's the worst drinking driving. Give incident in the nation's history. So it just made it all the worse that it was Children and it was a school bus, but, uh, you know, wear that badge. Unfortunately, you have the worst. Mentality, tragedy and in the nation's history. But yeah, sometimes guys I can't remember yesterday, but I will never forget that. Paul. Here's what we're going to do. Ah, one of the most impactful things are one of the things that I found interesting about that night was that his friends tried to take his keys from him. So what we'll do is I want you to describe what was in the testimony from him being at the park and taking the wrong turn and going on the wrong road. I want you to pick it up there and then I want Quentin to pick up where he was when he was in the bus at that time. And kind of connect the two stories eso Larry Larry was at a park cause This is what connects with people of in real life, too, where you're looking at your buddy, and you're like, Should I take his keys or whatever you know, you should always take his keys or her keys. So I did it. Pick it up from there, Paul on what was going on in that little park they were drinking at Okay, And this is a profit and again, it's kind of timely. Today's the choice is when you get involved in the case of this magnitude. The investigation is obsolete. Critical, okay, because you don't win cases like this recorder in your women's in your preparation and your investigation. The first thing we did. They're one of the first things we did is I wanted to know the last 24 hours. Love Mr Mahoney's activity of behavior prior to the minute that he hit the field bus. Okay, so that was 10 58 on United made 14 Go back 24 hours. And the great investigators with protective State police field and what what Mr Mahoney did is they drank all day. Okay. He started in the morning went to various places around several counties in northern Kentucky Carrollton area. We pieced that together where you've been what he's done, how much he drank, Who's with etcetera? That brings us fast forward them to the last several hours where he and some of those little boys some of his buddies We're in a campsite when the part was kind of a camp side out in the world area, Uh, Carroll County on they were having a beer past sitting around drinking or whatever, and again he's been at it for a good 10 hours. Um, and he decided he was going to leave. You can imagine the state of the intoxication of all other buddies, but nevertheless, some of them were smart said You're to give us your teeth. And that was refuted saying these folks and not in time with them. That would have been a pretty impressive thing for them to do to begin with. Okay. So they've got his keys away from him on again in a rural area. Eventually, he prevailed upon them to get his keys. And he said, I'm just going home..

"The Carrollton bus crash. We had the prosecutor Paul Ridge Walski in our studio, and I looked across the studio on air at him. And I started saying, Hey, this and that. And Paul Rydwelski. 30 years later started reciting the names of the victims and the parents, and it was so vivid in his details. He knew details of not just the victims that died that night. Not just the people that got injured that night, but he knew their family member named their mothers, their fathers. He knew every single individual name because he dealt with that for so long. And it's stuck with him 30 years. This guy, every single victim. He knew it's incredible. So you got it. Put some thought into that aboutthe Wait that law enforcement prosecutors are carrying along with the family. By the way, I want to show you picture of Lieutenant hunter right now. Okay, let's see if you want to be pulled over by this guy. Oh, good God. Did you look on your Twitter lottery to eat this for the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety Lieutenant Hunter Martin. That is not who you thought to be staring down at you Drive your bull's eyes. Is this the guy we did a ride along with with the dogs last summer? A couple summers ago. Oh, kind of kind of a big muscular dude. Yeah, well, you know, you know, he's not that guy. This is a different big, muscular for the state troopers. Man. This guy, this Lieutenant hunter, it looks like Lieutenant Martin. It looks like this. Others were right. OK, here, hold my gun, so don't get damaged and he goes through this guy tough. He looks good. He does, man. Lieutenant Martin. Oh, there's no doubt It's that Smokey The bear brim hat to man. They they were. I'm not going to say that. Maybe I was in the front end of that from a Georgia state trooper that he kept poking me in the more him with that, Bram. Cause they're all made exactly the same. They have that darn state trooper hat that looks like Smokey the bear and pokes you right in the head. But with Georgia they know we have an accident. Of course we don't hear it because we're from here, but we have an accident. But Georgia, you have an accident. Georgia Way got pulled over two carloads of us, headed to Daytona Beach by a one state trooper pulled both cars over. After we may or may not allegedly had something illegal in the trunk of a body, so no, no, no, not that serious legal. It's legal in many states now. OK, OK, so anyway, all we wanted to do was get our ticket. Move on. All right, right there. Take it. Move on. Both cars we knew was it was in the truck right now. We're just getting a ticket. We could all chip in. We could deal with this, but then the state trooper said. Okay, Here's your take it you have 45 days to. Ah, pay this. Thank you And then the guy with us? No. Does he go on or five days ago? You said four or five days or 45 days, he said 4 to 5 days. You say 4 to 509 He starts yelling State Trooper 4 to 5 days, 4 to 5 days. And I don't know what he's saying, right? Yes, Trooper. Yes. Shut up! Yes. Yes. No, I I've been in that same situation And I've always said I'm sorry. What did you know? I just take it and you know I can. Sorry. I can't understand you. We didn't have Internet back then. But now you can say you know what? I'll figure it out. It's next to the expressway. So your long going by your like, came here What you're saying? So what address or I'll go to you go to 13. No, I'm sure I will. But what address? Do we need to pay this? 32 for? What did you eat? Can you Can you text it to me? Not Teo Semi down. Ah, OK, So if you're a gambling guy, three states have approved of gaming on the hot dog eating contest this week. Wow is could be Joey Chestnut's right. Well, he's the only one of them. There's there's the one in New Jersey. There's one in Connecticut, and there's another one. So there's three big time. Hot dog eating contest this week. They still haven't even with Kobe 19 going on. I would have guessed so, yeah, So do other hot dog eaters. They they find it where Joey's going, and then they change, But I'm going to Jersey now. Is Joe is the wood? Yeah, There are absolutely we used to have a contest all the time, and you could tell who was from out of town. The second that they sat down and they started eating. You're like, Oh, I got it because once the Internet came up kind of a big thing, that's when that professional eating became a thing so they would just get online and look for big prizes. And then they would drive to the town and get into the eating contest. They take the body out. They dip it in water, so it slides right down there going Well, you could see pros like we did a week contest for Hooters. Shocking for like it A TV There's a $7000 TV. We had two guys show up that you could tell right away. They were like they were just It was amazing what they were doing. Yeah. Choking down him wings, not an ounce of meat on them on the wing on a bone either on abounds Big.

"Down, Don't text and drive, distracted driving And, of course, don't ever drink and dry. There's too many options right now. Dwight and Dave To to plan ahead If you're gonna have money this weekend to make sure to plan ahead and get a ride if you're gonna have if you're going to have just one drink, you gotta plan ahead. So this is part of our safe driving program that we do every single summer and now we're going to bring in Lieutenant 100 Martin Knight now, Lieutenant. How are you, sir? I'm doing Well, Dwight, how are you? We're doing great doing, Lieutenant Mark, Let me ask you. This. You you're on the part of your job is Cub accident reconstruction, so When there's an unfortunate case of a fatality. Someone during something. They're not supposed to do it. It doesn't even have to be drinking. Dropping. It could be just texting and driving or not paying attention. What you doing? You've got to show up and reconstruct that, and it's a tedious, long, long task. But along with that You are. Usually you have to break the news and you have to see this. How hard is that to carry around, man? Because it's something when you're when you're a man in your position. And I would drag it down. But it is what it is. When you're in your position. You have to see these fatalities and reconstruct them and go through it Piece by piece, and you're there. That's got away on you, does it not Well, yes, it does. But with something when they were trained for will show up on one of these scenes. Quite frankly, um, we're You're busy getting out of the details, trying to figure out exactly what happened, and sometimes we're not focused so much on the report. The death that occurred is we are trying to figure out Exactly what happened in trying to put the pieces and parts together the best we can so we can give. Ah, fair and exactly portal what happened and we can help the families through the terrible tragedy. Simply properly investigating and telling them what happened. He obviously, prevention is what we're going for here, so you don't have to reconstruct those accidents. What is the state police where you guys going to get up to this Fourth of July weekend extra that you don't normally do to keep people safe. Well, it's a holiday weekend, so we're gonna have ahh, lot more traffic on the road, people going to see family and Fourth of July festivities. So you're going to see more police officers on the roads we're gonna be in our highly visible Patrol in Ha crashed areas. You're going to see us pulling cars over that. We see if they're driving too fast or using their cell phone, which I've heard you mentioned earlier. If they're only phone section. That's something that we're going to be paying attention to. We're just going to be much more visible. Nearly. We want to have people see us out there and slow down without having issues Citation. But if we do happen to see somebody doing something wrong, we will do our job issue citations as we have to. Lieutenant. Is there any any story you want to share with us that that you have been a part of that you had to reconstruct that was particularly emotional, too. You are something that would hit home with folks that are going to head out on the Fourth of July weekend. Um Ah. Few years ago, we had a case in Shelbyville. It was one of the first cases in Kentucky, where we were able to prove that a truck driver was watching a movie on his cellphone rub and driving the truck. Uh, Unfortunately, he killed a couple of people. And that was ah, pretty well. The first case I've been involved in where we could actually physically go through the forensics from the phone, improve what the driver was watching in the second leading up to the crash. Just, um really, really bother me because it's just something you see every day. You see people on their phones, not paying attention, and that case in particular really hit home with me. That distracted driving is just It's a huge problem out there and again. We just want to courage or by just just put your phone down, you know, Put your phone down. Focus on the task at hand arrives safely to your destination, and that's that's all we're asking for this weekend. Lieutenant Martin. I doubt if you have the statistic s I don't expect you to know what about, but I'm sure I'm sure that that statistic is out there. It seems to me like The majority not off, but it seems to me like oftentimes when someone is distracted or drinking and driving for some reason, they may go with just your knot. It's a severe injury were the person that which is minding their own business. Being an average Joe going to work going to see their mother. Whatever. They're the ones that have a fatality or severe injuries. It that's got to be hard to take. When you roll up on. You see somebody that just Was minding their own business. And now the family is not going to see him again for the rest of their life. But you've pretty much hit the nail on the head. Uh, sometimes the traffic crashes. We've we've got the Truest, most innocent victims in some of our crimes. Just a family out for a evening drive going to see relatives and then someone that chooses to drink and drive. He'd text eyes involved with a crash with him, and you know it destroyed an entire family. We've got the casing. Kitten County were a drunk driver was passing in a no passing zone and wiped out an entire family of five. He had Just a complete tragedy, all because of driver decided to drink and drive and pass through no past. Lieutenant Hunter Martin with the state police. Now, a lot of people think that Well, we see you guys on the interstates. You guys just pull truckers over, but the state police do Ah lot more than that kind of tell us about that. Well, we're we're primarily in the rural parts of the state. So some of our counties don't have big interstates like we do around Lexington, Louisville, So we're also gonna be on the back roads in the small communities trying to keep them safe is what Lieutenant. We really appreciate everything that the state troopers do in conjunction with the local police when they when they are needed. In what area you guys are the best. You guys at the top in the best of the best in the state Trooper. You really got to have it together to make it to that level. And ah, I know I speak for Dave and Dwight that that we support you guys in every way. And and we wish. I hope that you all are really not busy this weekend. Ah, And if you are, I know you carry that with you. Every every crash. I'm sure is somewhere in your memory and ah, you will carry that with you Arrest your life. So you guys really you really do go the extra mile for the rest of us. We appreciate it, and we appreciate you being on our show for the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety. Thank you. All right. Have a great weekend, sir. You know it is the officers that were involved and have to see that and live with that and carry that weight the rest of our lives, But I'll never forget on the 30th anniversary of the Carrollton bus crash. We had the prosecutor Paul Ridge Walski in our studio, and I looked across the studio on air at him. And I started saying, Hey, this and that. And Paul Rydwelski. 30 years later started reciting the names of the victims and the parents,.

We came out of six ten came in fifth, though sixteen. Why are you going to do that? Man. They didn't know that we lost to, like ninety eight nine radio now. Interesting. You said the Tony Dwight show, but I don't think I was invited. Well wasn't invited though run by girls cannot tell you so. Saying. Off air knits. Tell you why they didn't have you participate. If this is going to be a sexist comment about how women can't drive. Not it's not the only reason that you weren't offered to participate in this exercise is the big wheels that we used to do this with no did not have blinkers on it. So it wasn't any way for you. Leave your blinker on. I, I knew turned say, no, I knew I was going to be sure. You knew in your head. He's going to turn on me. Before it came out of his mouth. I'm like, why am I even going going to check in with Jody doubling of from Omaha here about fifteen minutes down syndrome, Louisville's going to be here? They have sang group, right? Yes. Yes, listen, man. We can't wait to meet these guys. Things are called backstreet drain. Okay. Came weight Rucker from ninety eight nine radio Nigel give us that none of those things are hip. And why would I not use real money on you know that I told him this morning? Do you know anything about it? And can you explain it to Tony Dwight ni-, and he was really quiet for a while. Like if you don't know about it. You don't have to. And he goes, no, I know all about it. I just don't know how to explain it in enough layman terms that you guys would understand what here. So. He's probably still thinking that and partners in this as pay pal. Why would just use pay pal? Real money. You're there you go. I think they're all right. We're going to have stand Weiss come in here in about thirty minutes. Stan is an SEC breath. He is earned his way from working local games here. He's from Louisville you which Turney high school in one thousand nine hundred eighty s and he worked his way through and he's been in SCC ref forever. He's an awesome guy. He's going to be very honest about being Aref. And we're gonna ask him questions that you all would know. What's the process? What's it feel like to miss a call or a call on a play? How bad do the saints? Get right. Yeah. They 'cause the NFL came out yesterday. They hit admitted to Sean Payton miscall, they they had called the coach before the press conference after the NFC championship game. And said, look we missed the call. We want to admit that was blown call. And then they did it again this past Tuesday, the NFL came out officially and said that was a blown call because they are obviously in a lawsuit these damn saints fans want to replay the fourth quarter. I don't know. Lost listened to play didn't go your way, we lost. You can't have a loss. And I get it. I get it all comes out in the wash. There were some good costs and bad causes should even out. But a game that big, you know, you don't get to replay the stupid, and we're also at seven fifteen going to give away the see the hulk bobble head over there. We're going to give that away. And we have today is that we are supposed to give it away as part of the Louisville batch thing this summer, he looks a Mesa we forgot what do you mean? Look look at his eyes are sunken any looks like as his cheekbones ralian DNA or something. St. needs kind of built. So we'll have stay in Weiss on. And I believe our buddy Paul ridge wall ski is gonna join us. He's going to give us a call policy. Local prosecutor he's been a high school ref here in Kentucky for a lot of years. Also, here's a nice story of the day guy. South Oldham ball field is going to is going to honor the fallen police officer DD Meghan dealt by naming the field after her. She was known because her son played it that field so much. She was in the dugout. She was known as the dugout mall. Oh, is that just that is so good? That's sad. Boy, I will say one thing about the great city that I love so much Louisville Kentucky we take care of our own. They really do step up. That is true. A new study shows that women need more sleep because they use brain their brains more constantly for overemphasizes overthinking everything. Look, I get it. If if every day all day, you over thought everything I get it, you need more everything. I can't even sit for five minutes and meditate because my brain is constantly move. And you can't say these simple words to your partner. Why do you complicate everything? You can't be smacked in the face. Wow. Okay. That's what I'm saying. Go ahead, say whatever you want physical violence, and when we come hang out. Speaking of women overthinking women reveal the passive sexism. They have to experience for men. I swear I'm so happy. I'm married because I don't know how anybody could get a date in two thousand and nineteen with women so offended on everything. I mean, I know just don't sexually assault. People. Be sexually so weird thing that say. I can't say, hey, hey, hey, Lee. You look nice today. Or what do you mean by that? Yes. Nelken six packs a day since I was. That's how we hear you. I have to admit correct about that. You sound like the excesses. She's hit are with us. One of the examples that he's about to talk about this give you a little example when you come back, please don't go anywhere, passive aggressiveness is like when a woman is always grumpy the saying was she must be. Yes, I was saying on her period. Bisbee vulgar, vulgar, take it to the guttering. Women's reproductive system is Volker. Agree. Disagree ring that bell for disagreement. Oh, contrary. Hey, craig. Baby. Oh, how I love the guys in the gals at Craig and land earth why because they take care of the city of Louisville. Andy, I don't care where you are. If you're in southern Indiana, go, see my buddy Jimmy Smith out on Dixie highway. See Joey Craig by point is there's Craig inlanders all around you in every single neighborhood. It's easy to do. But let's Greg ladders knows everybody doesn't have as much time on their hands as they used to during.

"To review film here to show off their highlights but the defensive coordinator thirty happy we got two defensive touchdowns one by each team. Interception return for a touchdown earlier in the second quarter by Anthony Roberson four Palmer ridge. And then Andy Smith at fifty five yard fumble recovery. Took it to the house. Both teams now have one turnover. We talked about Palmer ridge coming into tonight's game. They had to take care of the ball. Ty. Evans eight interceptions entering tonight's contest. And he just basically had ripped right from his arms. That is a strip now strip sack because Evans was downfield running. But certainly a strip that von Miller would be proud of. As Smith just ripped it out of the arms of Evans and ran it back for a touchdown. So now, what are they marking off something? Apparently there was a penalty marriage. Yeah. So now homesteads going to get a kick it from the Palmer ridge forty five if he doesn't get it out of the back of the end zone, then might be a little bit of trouble here. This one is I think if you're if you're Pueblo south, you just try to do a little pooch puck, maybe let it hit the grass somewhere nights the free ball. Otherwise, he's got forty five yards. A kick it into the end zone. And there will do exactly that almost an onside kick. It is recovered though, it was caught in the air by Paul marriage. So not great execution, but Palmer ridge able to recover it. So they'll take over first and ten we didn't see any penalty called had to have been something that happened after the play was over to tack on so much so many yards, right? Yeah. After the PAT I didn't see any laundry on the field Ryan. But there was something that push the kickoff return all the way, basically onto Paula regicide. Talking about like. Swayne? Yeah. Rich, Paul ridge. Now. Seventy five yards to hit pay dirt. So bears moving left to right. Ty. Evans will once again be in the shotgun. He has a running back on his left hip. Takes a snap hill handed to them and the runner doesn't get much around the left side as let's see ten colds players. There was one that was in the defensive backfield the quarterback to state over on his field. The rest of the colts defenseless on that play. So four and a half minutes to go in the second quarter were back tied up at fourteen a pick six by Anthony Roberson in a strip and a TD for Andy Smith has this thing tied back up again on second down to be a hand off. And again Rafe rule without any room to run you'll get around the right side and gets up to the twenty five so bring up a manageable third down. But a third down. Nonetheless. Rules.

It's summer or talking football, the anticipation of the season. And yes, I'm ready to see live action. I don't expect any of the main players to be planned tomorrow night in that game, which is fine because we do. We want to see some of the. Jax. Let's get to a little bit of news and notes. I everyone that continues to up on socials, but amazing. Adams left. Go tell your friends download subscribed. Let's friends tell you friends. Let's steal something from the barstool guys. They got one thing right, subscribe unsubscribe, and then re subscribe. It sends you higher on the list. That's what they do at some bullshit, but I like it. Let's deal that. Bullshit. I like little quick injury. Note. You're just telling me that Jordan Mathews was released from the New England, Patriots. This is recording Wednesday afternoon. Josh Doksan out five to six weeks with a broken collarbone. Wow, big time. That is big time. I thought about two things. One thing for each of them right Dez Bryant now would love to go to washing no doubt about may need him in Washington now with Doxa being hurt because they were already relying on him. But I look at the patriots wide receiving corps, Chris, HOGAN elements, missing four games, Kenny Britt doors set. Okay. Never mind. Malcolm Mitchell Cordeiro ally. More than you think the problem arching right now though, is Malcolm Mitchell and Kenny Brit? I don't think are totally one hundred percent either. So that's the issue they're going to look at. But Washington for deaths Washington for as Joshua on the same t-. Yeah, love that would be cool. I hear you. Hey, does there's something to his game? Certainly that's going to be valuable. I mean him on the outside of physical wide receiver, being able to catch back shoulder balls, things like that fifty fifty balls. He is still very good about that. And that would be a team. I would look at seriously, I would think consider them because your role Richardson's your speed guy in crowded inside ACL injury. Let's not forget Paul ridges and junior tore his ACL last year late in the season. No, I'm going to say it was midway maybe because I have Paul Richardson to my fantasy team Shannon check to see I will you got Josh dachshunds hurt. And then after that it's Brian quick, Robert Davis MAURICE Harris. I think they have a legitimate need for Dez Bryant. Yes, I think he could. Fit into a Jay Gruden. Do you think you can fit into that office? I do. And I think Jay is the type of coach to that would just all all. I think Jay in that organization type organization that can handle that type of personality. I mean, they handling Josh Norman for a single game last year. Paul Richardson who am I tours ACL twenty fifty three years ago. Okay. Sorry, good. I was like, man, that was winning game, so then they are Jamison Crowder there, right? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. They need another guy. They got the speed guy. Jamison Crowder plays at inside roll. The guy I think does is the guy he has Dallas twice. He gets Dallas twice. That'd be awesome. Yeah, it would be. We have two interviews coming up on today's show. One big fill. The big fucker back. The other guy we've been talking about him a lot this off season and he wasn't on the show. I mean, he wasn't. He's out on a team right now and I texted you and I said, what do you think we get them? And man, Chris, the best booking producer that this company has just kidding. I'm better than them who getting in this corner. We're getting a cornerback who was recently knocked out a person that works out in an airport. His name is pacman Jones. Wow. So pacman Jones coming up at about ten minutes. We're gonna call him. He's always been one of our favorite guests. Yes. Tells it like it is doesn't care, and I got a lot of questions we do, and let's help them out. It's fun of team for exactly. Right. I think that's what we're going to do because he's knowing pacman through the years, like as competitive as they get..

"I'm saying these, like you tell me he's speaking out of both sides of his mouth on one breath and once out of his mouth is skill. I don't know. He criticized LeBron per se, LeBron didn't want to compete because he wanted all the best players. He doesn't go join the team to have all the best players. And now he what it can cause aren't for you. Explain why LeBron chose the Lakers without any guarantee of Paul Georgia Leonard for this year, it feels like his his sixteenth season is just a wash. It says honeymoon seasonal light without measure. Without expectation Vanna can explain it. Randy can explain maverick. Ritchie, Paul kidding lane one person. Paul ridge. Going only one person can give you insight. In the real reason. He did. What he did is LeBron Jane willing person can go lead this team to the Western Conference title niche year. I'll be impressed skills that that would make a resounding statement. I knew what I was doing. I didn't need Paul Georgia. Elim. As your question, do you believe Kevin Durant could live the Sacramento Kings to the NBA finals? The Western Conference out LeBron James that the greatest player of all of player not the greatest team. It's only five compla- at one time. Got four. The top twenty players in the NBA county told you yesterday, Michael Jordan could lead this label. He could not no to the western style and his prime at his best LeBron's little on the downside. So he'll be k. d. Steph curry, Klay dre, still skip stopping even it for now because are we gonna see peoper performance from Hezekiah Elliot. I wanna hear what he has. No, we'll talk about it next. Cowboy's training camp is underway here in California last year, z q Elliott ran for nearly a thousand yards just ten games because of his suspension. But apparently it's a new year and a new. Zeke Cowboys running backs. Coach, Gary Brown said last year, Zeke was stressed out in this year. He's quote happy and jubilant Brown added that Zeke is in the right place mentally, and he's in much better shape than last year Shannon, what will we see from Zeke? This season. Big Zeke to have them off the skit. I would be shocked if he didn't have somewhere between three hundred fifty and four hundred carries when they say they're gonna make this offense more debt friendly. That means zeke's going to have a hairy award. I'm with that. They're going to run and you mentioned they're going to give opportunity to carry the to catch the ball out of the backfield. So I expect him to catch the ball somewhere between thirty and forty times a game. A lot more than what he did is I two years in the league. He the special talents get and with the weight of am I going to be spended am I not going to be suspended in? Maybe he didn't take off season conditioning as serious as he needed to take it last year because when he showed up I, he looks a little heavy. He like that guy that used to have his shirt rolled up. He got tennis balls in the stomach agree. He did look like that and I think it showed, but that was a lot to have a young man's plate, especially what he was being accused of. He was basically fighting for his ability play in endings fighting for his family and his in his name. And but I expect him to to have a Mazda year DeMarco. Murray's single season rush record is in trouble that eight of the Cowboys. Now that eighteen forty eight is in serious jeopardy because I believe he'll get somewhere between three fifty. Four hundred carries a season and he'll be somewhere between four and a half, maybe even five yards. So he could easily approach that two thousand yard burying Zeke Elliott is going to be a monster. Thank you for opening that door for me because I'm going to run through the door. You just open. I'm going to go you several better on this one. I'm gonna. I remind you that we're approaching our to your anniversary undisputed, our partnership. We welcome Ginny, the partnership, but two years on September six. Soon after we launched two years ago, I started predicting that Russell Westbrook would average a triple double for that twenty six seventeen season and he did. So I'm about to make another prediction. I believe that if all goes well, obviously health plays a bigger factor, bigger role often in football than it doesn't basketball. If a bunch of people stay healthy for the Dallas Cowboys offense, including most of all Zeke, you'll Elliot..

Crash for Larry Mahoney because the prosecutor in in Carrollton. County had heart attacks so they had to go and. Move in and get a. Team from Louisville we've gone. Over what has happened on on the bus grass were up to the tree is basically what happened and basically this is. Unprecedented there are twenty seven bodies there are forty injured, people and. A crime scene that is gigantic and it's. On one of the busiest highways in Kentucky and let's talk about the crime scene for a. Second the bus they had the aluminum windows down the side you said they melted Correct the the bus parts. Of the bells bus had melted how hot does a, fire have. To burn to melt those windows Aluminum's fifteen. Hundred degrees yeah wow It only? One. Of the children that were passed away right could be identified as it I mean it's crazy all right listen so what did you think of. Larry. Mahoney Well Is this came out to, trolley had a criminal, record but it was mostly from, minor some disorderly conduct. Things he had one prior DUI back then there was not the look back period that we have today where you can get them with successive repeat. Offenders so in, fact this is the least of his. Worries but he we had to try him as a first offender. DUI he was really pretty Hollow, I'd say no Ramoche ine through six. Weeks of the trial he just stared at a spot in the. Floor I don't know I don't know if he was. Drugged or what they did to him but he. Showed no emotion We had forty, kids come in and testify And of course we met with them and prepare them as we would any. Witness about how to, conduct yourself in court I don't. Know why and you mentioned the kids earlier they went told me. They went and ages from ten to nineteen that was. The age of the kids on the bus And for some reason. The defense attorney who was very very good defense attorney here one. After one of the kids it was a young girl Because. I told them you know when you testify talk, to the jury because that's all you have to convince and he asked her for some reason he didn't ask any of. The other thirty nine, but he asked her how come, you're not looking at my client and he was on the. Other side of the room And she said, no reason I mean it just jumped all over I never understood it in the few cases I've tried in my life And then, he, said, did you. Meet with the, prosecutor before this case and she said? Yes and did, he tell you, what to. Say she, said well yeah sort of. And he said what did he tell you. To say and she said Told us to? Tell the truth So that just got him I thought because I looked at that Jerry and they looked at him, and and again to this day I don't know why And she's a pretty cute. Blonde hit, a little girl wide these witnesses you want to tangle with? I mean they wanna be there they lost their friends they. Went through, horrific deal so anyway, did Larry Mahoney. Understand the magnitude of what. Was going on basically his his life was going to be pretty much over you know that's a good, question wondered about that Because we, you know we did. We did about Two weeks jury selection and the first week was individual one at a time..

What happened that night in the Carrollton bus crash of what we're, before you do that tell, us what you said when you when. You, caught this case. What. You wanted to do how far back you wanted to go well It's time? Was In the, attorney general's office and I was the director of the. Special prosecutions unit and this case happened, in Carroll county which had a duly elected Commonwealth attorney by the name. Of John ackman and normally that would have, been John's case Within two or three days of the crash John was stricken with a heart attack, and immobilized and who survived but it was a pretty. Monumental thing the state police were obviously, in just the beginning their investigation and what you have to keep in. Mind too is you have a mass disaster You have. A tremendous tragedy you know it was and is still today the, worst DUI vehicular homicide case in the. Nation's history thank God it hasn't been topped but, this was was bad enough so you've got a mass disaster, and you have a crime scene All. Rolled into one because, you know the perpetrator mister Mahoney. Survived and again one of those crazy things that happens is unbelted Built on if I showed you that Toyota, pickup truck and. How the, front end of that just wrapped right around him Hollywood how is it possible exactly exactly and the the call went out for help The first on the forget this he was my first, witness. Our first witness was a, young volunteer, firefighter named Tommy web of Campbell's Berg Kentucky and with the, rural departments you know they meet at a location or go into town or whatever but he heard the call and he went ahead. And you just heard? About, a. Crash with a bus and maybe a fire So Tommy went to the scene and all he had was a flashlight And a radio and a first aid kit Oh incredible that's all they, had and when he saw this horrendous scene, he just got on. The radio and said, send me everything, have so when he said by the way the numbers are twenty twenty-seven perished and forty got out triage area was gigantic and also of the forty twelve of those, kids sustain what we call, serious physical, injuries a which are life threatening. Burns scars inhalation injuries were just horrific injuries. And that's the first time that I learned there was. Such a thing as a, fourth. Degree, burn everybody just thinks there's three right. Well fourth degrees. Clear through to the bone oh my gosh and that was a young lady up in..
