"Which it borders Milton and Dorchester and it's so easy so if you're not really a hiker and you want to just see how you do it walking for a little bit or biking it's it's a basically a bikeway or walkway that starts of pope John Paul park in Dorchester and then heads west differentially ends up Mattapan it's really gorgeous it's really easy to do nice way to if you're in the city pretty easily get there by the subway or bus and just really beautiful right by the river peaceful so there's a lot of places like that in Boston itself and then if you have a car the it's limitless as far as the places to go I mean I have my favorites and a couple of my favorites are connected to each other no one at woodlands in Dover and hail as a nation in Westwood and it's just one huge heartland area and it's so far away from any highway that you really feel like you're up north and you can just take for eight ten miles you need to make a twelve miles you can spend all day in there and it it does clear the mind that's for sure it clears the head do you have any good hikes around ponds or rivers or lakes or the ocean you'd recommend oh sure definitely got a few levels so castle island is one of my favorites that's kind of an old school Boston placed at the tip of South Boston and they called the sugar bowl you can go around this because way and I don't win the day you don't want to be there it's really exposed but incredible views of the Boston Harbor islands great views of the city skyline and it's so close you can take the silver line to there and you can take a bus and you can drive there are plenty of parking as far as in land waterways Middlesex fells has a lot of different ponds is gonna be like eight or ten ponds and they're seeking just kind of wander around and check out some big journalism reservoirs that you can't get to close them because are off limits but you can get some good views there and there's actually there are some great places to see some river views to the site mention of the Poncet river that's definitely one of the better ones and you can also you can walk along the Charles river I mean that's that's definitely one that people tend to know about it and it's so simple but it and so close to downtown Boston but sometimes people forget that it's there and it's so nice downplayed by the S. plan it isn't even on the memorial drive side I think the people I've never really see a lot of people walking on the Cambridge side but there's you know plenty of sidewalks on that side for the most part of the boat house there I can walk by get some incredible photos of the city to radio just before the mass bridge between mass separation may be no matter which way I guess yes Sir to get some really great views of the Boston skyline and it's it's definitely a lot quieter stroke right side but both of both sides a great you can do both sides you can just cross the river you can go over the massive bridge and wander around and and then again you also have the city walks I mean right now the city is so quiet that you could walk through Beacon Hill and probably wouldn't see many people at all again we do want to encourage social distancing it's important we don't wanna you know go out and do this in groups but if you're just by yourself you want to get a little fresh air is sometimes you just have to clear your mind you can only be in your house for so many days that is before you need to get a little bit of fresh air exactly and I I think just in case it's probably better to consider doing that sooner rather than later I mean there's always that slight chance that we could end up sheltering in place or worse the total lockdown like France and Spain we're not at that point yet so for now I'd say especially beautiful days like we're having over the next several days definitely get our clear you head through important yeah I mean as long as we continue to practice you know what the officials want us to do and do it responsibly you like you said the weather's incredible right now so you might as well take advantage of it and you know if you've got a dog you got to walk the dog eventually might as well go do it in a pretty spot right exactly and again what I've been saying is the only people out right now or dog walkers it's just too bad you know it I think people really do need to they need to get out we need to get away from work if they're working right now they need to get away from just that allies and fear that so many people have and and yeah I've been talking a few people who has that right now and I think just even stepping outside for a couple minutes might help anything at all no I did I I completely understand how that goes I do and and sometimes when it comes to a situation like this it can even be hard just to get outside for a couple minutes take a walk around your neighborhood go around the block a couple of times but we're we're in that we're in a time where it's very important to do I I don't necessarily always like the free self care I think it's a little contrived but it's important to take care of yourself and that's mentally and physically and and and always as well okay marker which from Boston restaurant talk and Boston's hidden restaurants thanks for coming on and giving us a glimpse into the industry right now and hopefully this all works out thank you Michael obviously this is a very fast moving situation it's a very fast developing situation we've got you covered.

"You don't have to be anywhere. It's just again to where it'll be, you know, looking for places I stay in spring training bothering that. It's a phone call, and it's just kind of oh with a new team. And you know, you just go about your normal offseason routine. And you don't have to worry about like packing up or anything. Just kind of now starting to look at different places, the state's spring training and time to four many relationships or. Develop in affection for the city or the Paul park or something like a at one of these stops. Did you make a friend or something? And we're like, oh, I like that guy. And now I've got to leave. So this sucks. Yeah. That happens with every team you're on, you know, you go around obviously, the Laci with a teen you develop closer relationships. But I was watching it. You know that every team I went on all the guys were awesome. And definitely as it continued everyone kind of very curious about what my year was like, you know, it would be a lot of running jokes about it. So how did this affect your pitching? Exactly. Because you know, your your a probably didn't end up where you wanted to be. But teams are looking at things other than that these days, and you actually pitched pretty well. If you look at the peripherals, but how much did just being transplanted like this and having to work with different coaches, and different catchers and just everything changing and just the uncertainty of not knowing where you're going to be from week to week. How does that? That get in your head or or does it not. It got tough at times especially late in the year. You know, 'cause you're trying not to live and die with every outing and watering like, oh, if I have a bad one, I'm not going to be move again. Or you know, how explained the catchers exactly how you like the pitch. And then getting an understanding of what you do. And then the hardest part was party the inbetween teams when you're sitting in your waiting around and you're trying to find someone to play catch with stay sharp because you know, I'd go pitching a game. And then it'd be you know, almost two weeks before my next up here today and just up and then you gotta get major league hitters, so you find ways to get those guys and stay sharp. But I kept joking that a lot of times when I was home. My my catch partner was offense at my old little league field. 'cause I just go until some baseball's against it. Just try to stay ready. So at least speaking, psychologically, given what you went through you you set a record for the most teams played for in in a season. That's a fun one goes on your plaque. But what percentage of the days do either wake up or go to bed feeling like? All right. This is good. A lot of teams one me versus what percentage of the days, you feel like, oh, this is bad teams. Don't want me. Our what's your how do you maintain perspective on this? Try to stay real positive. You know, you take the ups and downs, you know, in the game and just in life in general, you, you know, you can have good days at that base. And I'm I'm very fortunate that was strong support system from life to my family, my friends, so even when times got tough, they prop domestic that helps get you a positive mindset. So really, it was just kind of the support from them that made it a lot easier. You talk to your agent very frequently throughout this process and save. Hey, what can I do anything about? This. Can.

"So I've known like match Chapman in that Olson for like six, seven years Adam. There had them from time to time and spring training. So you know, it's easier when you get a good relationship with these guys, you can talk to one a daily basis. Like, how's that plan? They're pretty good about giving us feedback also what they like and how they don't like fields. And yeah, I mean, Matt Chapman uses the entire space of the Paul park, and there is a a lot of it there because else the Coliseum and there's a ton of fell territory. How does that affect your job? It's. It's definitely different in one way is a little bit easier because there's more room for guys to run around and warm up. And so the grass doesn't get as beat up is if you had a small area. So it's easier for media and people to be out there. It takes longer to Mojo in the morning guy that walks to the sideline area definitely has a lot more mowing to do. This is a this is sort of an instructional question, but just for I don't have a lawn. I'm a blogger. I can't have a lawn, but my brother's more of an adult. He has a lawn and and my brother's always been fascinated by by stadiums by grants keeping. So he he tries to mow stripes into his lawn. Like right now, the patterns in so for anyone who's interested in like mowing patterns or stripes in their lawn, who's at home, who's listening to this who's doing better than I am than than Ben is what I, what advice might you have for for? 'cause I assume you can't just do that with a regular without any sort of database? Yeah, usually that they don't have the right tools on the mowers. I mean, one thing, obviously, if your grass is healthy, it's gonna stripe better. If it's a little bit longer, it's probably gonna stripe better, too. But the way we do it as we have heavy rollers on her mower and it's just bending the grass, two different directions. In the way the sun reflects off a wonder action and then is absorbed by the other. So a roller works. I've seen people use brushes brooms standing that can stand the grass one direction and then come back and stand up the other push down. Actually, she can get pretty creative. Do you have a fist Idia Slee kept lawn of your own at home or you like hell? No, I am not cutting grass when I'm at home. That's my day job. I'm actually trying. It's like when the teams at home, it kinda goes down a little bit and maintenance. And then when the teams on the road, I kinda keep it a little bit better. But it's funny. We actually had a couple of small scraps. We just took off the field from the change over and I got like three by three foot section. I think I'm gonna throw it my trunk and hopefully to one of these. I try to got a tiny little one, but nice. Just sit out there when you're not work and relax. Yeah. What is the most challenging situation you've ever faced or or the roughest condition you've ever had a field in whether because of whether red drought or a special event or or what just what was the hardest time you've ever faced?.

"The patriots put seven runs on the scoreboard on sixteen hitch which tied a franchise postseason record at a single postseason game sixteen that you have to go all the way back to two thousand and three the last time that happened for the patriots round being a seven one victory as somerset took a one nothing series lead however in last night's ballgame it was the ducks who responded matt larkins on the mound he's pitch well against the patriots all season long he was tab as be game two starting pitcher for the ducks and markets pitch very well once again against the patriots wound up only working five and twothirds innings but allow just one run over that span the patriots had a couple of opportunities their runners that person third worth one out in the fifth inning robbed a pace it by by dan lines at shortstop had the bases loaded in the sixth bending with two out couldn't come through the talks would add another run in the bottom of the sixth meeting they won the ball game four to one so here we are now back at td bank ballpark and this series is all tied up at one game apiece eight basically like we're starting from scratch it has turned into a threegame series that'll be played right here first team two wins in this paul park will advance over to the atlantic league championship series of course the patriots they won the first half liberty division championship which gives them homefield advantage this is what they've been working towards the fans and his fans have already been filling out here at citibank ballpark and it is now will oliver who comes on the mound poor somerset tonight oliver looking to spark again some post season magic oliver has been quite strong hong as the postseason pitcher for the patriots and very strong as of late in the regular season as well and we'll get it to his numbers in a little bit but first we will go over the teabag starting lineup for the visiting long island ducks hitting a curveball is hard that's why there are no curve balls at td bank they make it easy stop by and say hi one human to another td bank america's most convenient bag member fdic citibank na.
