"Boom. Name that baseline. Is that right? Yeah, but your catch might have just been a little bit off, but yeah. Well, that's the best I can sing. I never pretend about the frontman of candlebox. Are you telling me that you tell me that the long established bass player for led Zeppelin and also key cog in three man supergroup them crooked vultures has gone about setting up a stand-alone college basketball MTE game in December? Is that where we're at right now? Yes, Robert Plant is touring with Alison Krauss. And John Paul Jones is doing multi team events. At the Mandalay bay. That's exactly what it's a lot. It's wild. Nobody would have predicted this. You know, after physical graffiti came out. Nobody would have predicted this. Jack Jones, hoop fest. Jack Jones, more formally known as John Paul Jones, is a proud memphian who attended law school at Virginia. John Paul Jones arena. Ah. It's named after him, his son is a multi billionaire hedge fund manager, philanthropist, Paul Tudor Jones. He also went to Virginia, donated $35 million to help build Virginia's basketball arena in exchange for naming rights and he named it after his father who is just so we're clear not the former basis for it. But I have long lived with the impression and will continue to do so that Virginia's home arena is also it's also named after the basis from Led Zeppelin. If you go to John Paul Jones arena Wikipedia page, it actually says it is sometimes incorrectly referred to as being named after what it says. That's a part of the Wikipedia page. This is not named after the bass player from last template. So there's a strong connection between Memphis and Virginia and if you're trying to figure out how all of this leads to crate and headlining this event, among the people involved in the Jack Jones hoop fest. Menfi and Ernie Kuiper Ernie of course is run a prominent grassroots program for years. He's the cousin. Former NBA star turned agent Mike Miller whose son mason Miller plays for creighton. So connect all those dots did leg. I feel like I need the X files theme music right now because it's all one big conspiracy. It's all connected. You just got to see it. I need the Charlie day gift in front of the board. Just classic stop chefs. Creighton last dropped four games in a row in February 2019 if it loses this one, it will be a four straight loss. BYU though. 5 and 5. Kooks don't look to have it this season, man. They have been reliably a 21 plus program. Basically annually every year, except the last time that didn't happen, which was O four O 5, 9 and 21 in the last year under Steve, Cleveland. Steve Cleveland certainly sounds like, I don't know. A mob boss from the 1930s, but regardless, we can move this along. I'm going to take great they got to show up and play well here and I'll take them to cover. Creighton hasn't won a game since the Maui semifinals. On November 22nd, they haven't won a game in 17 days more than two weeks. Three straight losses, Arizona, Texas, Nebraska, they shot Tina 40 from three against Nebraska, four of 27 from three against Texas. So creighton is 14 of 67 from three past two games, both of which were losses. That's 20.9%. How do you think Doug McDermott feels watching his Alma mater shoot like this? Disgusted. What about Ethan raggy? I mean, come on, man. How do you think great gifts feeling? But yes. I'm rewriting history. We've established this. Probably rolling over in his book gifts. And Frank is just a vintage college baller. Probably rolling over and he's great watching this. All right, we both take and creighton? Yeah, I got to. BYU is like just 5 and 5 after losing four of its past 6 games. Plus, it's whole team is at risk of being suspended by Saturday night. You never know. They get tricky. This can get tricky for BYU in Las Vegas. We've talked about it before. So absolutely, I'm taking crate number into points. Okay, games to know before we get to the end one, Friday. There's only one. Maybe we'll see four and four Washington at 6 and three Gonzaga, 9 eastern. You already know it's en route. Saturday? I got a server time, but it's your call. We're trying to get you out of here quick. You want this? Let's speed it up. Okay, no trivia time. If I miss this flight my whole day is ruined. That's true. That's not exaggeration. Saturday. There's games to be aware of. 8 one Arkansas versus 7 two Oklahoma and Tulsa, one eastern ESPN two. That's a Southwest conference the row back game, by the way. Good match up there. Also on Saturday, 7 and two San Diego state versus 7 and three saint Mary's in Phoenix, two eastern ESPN+. Across down shootout, 6 and three Xavier at 6 and three Cincinnati three eastern on ESPN2 that game is always worth the watch weirdly kind of varied in the middle of the afternoon there though because it's always worth the watch because they might fight. They might actually they very well might. We'll see obviously Xavier first year coach John Miller second year guy. Wes Miller, Miller on Miller in this game. 7 two Memphis versus 8 no auburn, by the way, in Atlanta, 5 eastern on ESPN2 on Saturday. We'll see what the tigers can do in that spot. By that, I mean, both of them literally auburn, you know, they got to kind of get a win of note here and then Memphis is obviously been intriguing. We'll see what the tigers do. And then last one on Saturday. Hey, huggins and Andy Kennedy. I like this 7 O one UAB at 7 and two West Virginia 6th eastern on ESPN+. If you have ESPN+ access and you're going to be around on 6 eastern on Saturday, just tune in UAB was projected to be one of the better mid majors in the country in the preseason. It is certainly lived up to that billing and it can definitely go in and steal that game in West Virginia. And then on Sunday, Oklahoma state is against Virginia tech on two eastern ESPN2 that's in Brooklyn,

"I'm right there with you. If I had to ask you right now of like say you're the GM for the Connecticut sun and you can keep Brianna Jones two of the three. Brianna Jones a list of Thompson John Paul Jones, what is your first thought without? Going through analytics, anything like that that we would normally do in this situation. What would you do? I think my first thought is my first simple thought is to keep Alyssa Thomas and John Paul Jones only because JJ is more versatile. Than Brianna Jones, just because she simply doesn't shoot from the outside. That would be my first initial thought, is that there are just more uses and more ways that you can use her. But I think off of watching this season and who I would trust more to keep on my team. I think I would trust breezy more. I do. I think I would trust breezy more. And I think that breezy still has a tremendous upside to her game as well. I think that what we're seeing is not the end all be all of her game. Which is really cool. I do. I think that she can grow in a lot of different ways. I truly do. Yeah, she did a lot of watches of shooting from the outside, especially in this series. Yeah, yeah, she did, which is not normal, right? But I think that that's going to be the next level of her game, right? Is to be able to shoot those consistently and not worry about it. Because obviously she's great in terms of her rate and inside the paint inside the restricted area. I think she was like top 5 in the league in terms of percentage and making those amount of shots in the restricted area. So that would be that would be my thought, but I hear you. I think, you know, obviously DB is there for another year, which is great. I'm not sure the situation on Courtney Williams. I don't know, forgive me for not doing my research all, but I do not know the situation on Courtney Williams. I just know that what she was in Atlanta was not going to be the same as her coming to Connecticut. But I think that I think that the team did a decent job of putting together a group of all stars, all besides one who had not gotten a taste of championship basketball and was able to get them there. You know, they were right there. They were a couple of plays. And to me, one different bench player away from making it happen. Yeah, so next year, the Brown Jones Courtney Williams are both our restricted free agents and the teacher Ottoman is a restrictive free agent. Gotcha. Okay. So yeah, I mean, I think we want to bring back her too, especially after what she showed. I think she would have other incentives to bring her back. So yeah, I could see that too, for sure. Yeah. Me and her dad had all the playoff games, always. I know, it's so funny. I was watching the game yesterday with a friend of mine. He's like, that guy by the bench is really animated as it didn't know. He's number tens dad. He's more than animated. That man is invested in this. But yeah, he's awesome. He's a treat, for sure. Well, all in all, we love this season. New champion. We love new champions. It's three in the last four years. Can't beat that. As long as it wasn't Seattle, I'm all right. Yeah. I mean, I guess. No comment. Well, we have a lot of content coming for you in the future with dice it up. I think we're going to dive into some of the overseas aspects is most of you. If some of you don't know, ice does play professionally overseas. She last played in Greece and we're steadily awaiting where she's going to end up next. Doesn't matter. I'll still travel there. And of course, we're going to do a lot with the college game. The women's college game is awesome. We have so many data points insides on her hoop status dot com, go sign up. I mean, I was just going down rabbit holes on the biggies today. So many so many cool nuggets. So excited for those next couple seasons and I mean, I feel like I'm very excited to learn about kind of the just more about overseas in general because I don't know and that would be great to get a lot of your insights and talk to some of the people that you play with all over the world. Yeah, yeah, I'm excited about it. I think that, you know, as someone who loves college basketball and overseas basketball, the best time of the year is kind of coming up, unfortunately. Unfortunately, it doesn't include the W, but I think all college basketball all overseas basketball NBA will start back up. We're getting into the thick of it, where you can literally watch basketball anytime any day. So it's a little slow period right now though. I saw a tweet that did say, this is the point where there's no MBA, WNBA, or college basketball on TV. Like are we supposed to do? I said, yeah, 'cause I'm not really a football person. I don't really know. But it's fine. We'll push through until we get there. But yeah, I'm excited to cover overseas stuff and college basketball stuff. I think it's ever growing. So it's going to be great. Yeah, I mean, those of you in the greater New York area gain avatar had 23 second half points and is directly gained the other day. I texted ice immediately. I was like, I got so hot I was on my Chelsea great stuff. Maybe it was another language. Oh, yeah, just a little bit. What was my response? It was so much proud of you. I'm so high for you. It's lit. Shooter shoot. Do you shoot? That's right. I did tell her I was zero for 6 in the first half from three. But we got hot. Yeah, you got to keep it, you know, you got to tell the whole story. Nothing but the truth, the whole truth, but it's fine. I know, I did leave with 23 second half points. I was in man. I love all my Friends at the shooters because it's the worst. It's the worst when they're not. Well, before you end up going to wherever you end up going, we do need to go shoot around together. We do. We do. We should do matter fact. That should be our next podcast. We'll watch us shoot, yeah, why not? Yeah, we should go shoot with some players who are playing. I mean, I know coach was all invited us over down to is it orange? What city is eating Holland? No disrespect. I love it. This is so simple. I just say north Jersey, seeton Hong. I feel like they play in Newark. I'm supposed to know this. Nobody's saying anything. Jersey City. California orange. South orange new here's. Okay, okay, okay. One of the oranges, there you go. Yeah, okay. Cool. Well, maybe we'll do one over there. See how badly ice and Lauren park link can outshoot myself, but either way, it was a lovely WNBA season. So much to look forward to and loved being on dice it up, always. And we're going to keep on keeping on. Yeah, love it. Thanks everybody for staying with us all throughout the W season. Toxin?

All right, so let's talk a little bit about founding Graham capital in 1994. You leave John Henry, you have a little time to think about what you want to do, what was the process like launching a new hedge fund in the early to mid 90s. You know, it was, I mean, this is not an easy thing to do ever. I would say probably somewhat easier to do in 94 than it would be today where the world has become so institutional. And I've been a longtime close friends with Paul Jones and mark Dalton, a president, and when Paula, the founder, and CEO of tutor, and when I left Henry, we talked about a couple of ideas I had about starting my own fund. And they were kind enough and eager to invest and help me see Graham, which made it a lot easier to get the fund off the ground. I am investing my prop capital alongside of their prop capital and we began trading in, I guess it was July or something like that of 1994. Coming up, we continue our conversation with Ken, chairman and founder of Graham capital management, discussing

"Next week, I don't know. We'll figure out what we're gonna do because I'm sure something crazy is gonna happen this weekend. Yeah, but the free agency. Oh my gosh, always a blast. Oh my God, we, of course, I'm sorry. Come on back. No, so I did want to mention one thing before going off court side. Cut the lights out. We were about to do it. Rachel's alligator reported that, but this might be on the transactions list. But Rachel Gallagher reported that the son have core John Paul Jones, so she can not negotiate with other teams. Yeah. So it's official. Official official nice, the Connecticut son John quill Jones, so she can not negotiate with other teams making more likely that she would be back in Connecticut. Of course she could force our way out through a trade like a song Natasha Howard dude last year. He did. That's unexpected to happen at the moment. No. That's the last thing I got. Oh, that's all right, but that's good news, though, John 12 Jones. We'd love to see it. And I know the Connecticut sun fans are excited too. We have more women's hoops in front of us and that is going to be exciting to continue to chop it up with you guys next week about the free agency in the WNBA and obviously all the great things going on at the NCAA level and those top 16 seeds. We're going to see what they look like as conference play proceeds. But for right now, they're going to cut the lights out on us. We don't have to go home. But we had to get up out of here, Gabe. It has been a blast. As usual, sitting courtside with you, my friend, on this edition of courtside with Christie and Gabe, on the her hoop sets, podcast network, we will see you next time..

"It's always for the New York liberty. No, I just think that it has to be discussed, right? We all know that Liz wants to go to a major market. New York and LA kind of seem to be like the no brainers. But just to play devil's advocate, you know, I don't see anybody looking at Cheryl reeve or Don's daily. I don't see Candace Parker looking to share a rever Don's daily and saying my frustration of not being on Team USA is towards the head coach, right? I don't know how it works with the opals, but I would assume that sandy brondello isn't the end all be all of who gets picked for that roster. But look, okay, so how about John Paul Jones? Now, I know, you know, Connecticut has offered her the core and we'll see. I think we're all just assuming she's going to return to Connecticut. I certainly believe that myself. But you know, why not go for it, or at least try, you know, if you're New York, now I get Natasha Howard and John Paul Jones. How does that how does that look together? I kinda like it. Why not? But, you know, I'm just, again, I'm throwing more names out there that could potentially be those high profile but this is what I want to throw out there when it comes to New York. And maybe I'm reading into shaded tweets a little too much. When Natasha Howard left Seattle, it was very clear she could have stayed in Seattle. They probably would have run it back last year. Yeah, run it back. Sorry, I had to get my ears in proper order. She tweeted out something to the effect of only thing left to do is when an MVP. Because she's one of its player of the year. She's been a key clog. She's one multiple rings. All that's left, you know, as a bench player as a starter, find whatever. All that's left is to win MVP. Now when I see that from a player, I think that's a positive, especially when they're moving on to a new team that's kind of in a rebuild mode. They're no longer in that rebuild ish mode anymore. Now they're kind of in a middle mode. Yeah, exactly. So for me, it's like, you know, if I'm playing to our team's egos. I don't want to shadow Natasha Howard with a big name signing. A Tina Charles type player. Is not winning another MVP in this league, realistically with this team, right? Harsh as that might sound. Sure, but that also, you know, it does just brings we just have too big of a question mark. What can Natasha Howard B for the New York liberty? We still don't know, you know? We really did. The chance to see that. So that's tough for us to assess and determine what are some pieces you put around. I don't know, it's interesting. But I think that I'm excited for New York. This is a little more exciting to me than Dallas or I mean, honestly, it's kind of on the scale of Las Vegas because I see the potential in these rosters. And I think New York could take a big time jump, but yeah, they're gonna end up having to cut ties with a couple players here that are just bogging down this roster. And I think they'll maybe try to attract size, a vet, a nice core piece that makes sense and kind of solidifies their core group. They're starting 6 rotation. But yeah, I don't know. This is a good one. New York's gonna be in one of those teams that has the most eyes on them. This for agency in my opinion. And that's it for this episode..

"The Connecticut sun forward John Paul Jones has been named league MVP, taking 48 of 49 first place votes. Jones average over 19 points 11 boards a game good for fourth in the league and scoring first in rebounding. Top ten in blocks, shot 36% from three just a complete player in all phases of the game. How did the league let you know that you were indeed the MVP? So before practice yesterday we thought we were going to watch film and our head coach Kurt comes in a lot of companies like just 2004, really quickly. So he went around the floor and we see the company as I'm like dumble time, the front off with our staff and everything and the whole organization is lying around based on and she saw as well. Just listen to different awards and the people that want. So she started recurring congratulating him as close to the year. We are Jones and our team. One most important in the game, they got to me and told me what I want and be so every time they announced a winner and everybody was like pop up and confetti and stuff. It was a fun vibe and a government be a different type of live and a good way to find them. I mean, yeah. Yeah, that makes sense. It's a great, yeah. I love that that's all of our take. Yep, a 100% great moment. I think you're old. I loved it. I mean, honestly, because I was just her journey to get there to get to MVP. You know, she didn't come in as like she's not the number one overall pick that comes through. No, she's the first most improved one most improved and 6 woman of the year, which is MVP. She's won all three of those awards. So that's impressive to me. Now she's just coach of the year. It's my early, that's my early prediction for I need her to win defensive. She could be the first do you mean Grand Slam winner that actually would be if humans defensive? And honestly, she easily. She's in the discussion. Yeah, that's not out of the question. This is going to sound critical and weird and people might think she comes off as like the possibly the most unlikely MVP winner, the league's possibly ever had. And I love that. I love that she, 'cause she's been in that short list discussion for a couple years now. And but it never felt like it would quite happen because it often is some of those more obvious names that tend to come up and this is one of those times when it was fun to watch that happen because I was critical of it when she was in the early race discussion part way into the season and then there was just no denying it to a certain point. And you were right to be because she missed 5 6 7 games and there had never been an MVP before that had missed that kind of.

And I think you concur with that, is that correct? At this point, at this point, to strike it as we go through county wide process, looking at number three. Oh, rich. Yes. Yes. You're the department. Okay. Okay. Mark only wants to make you happy, Richard. And then I did not have any others. Nope. For discussion, or discussion. Is there any other? Nope. Okay. So everything else will go on. On consent as I think is as written or as approved as approved or doctor or adopted. What do you think is the whole language right adopt? What's the language you need on numbers? You Paul Jones here to tell us which ones we had in denial. So number 6 do we have to say that we were approving? So that one is approved. "Gimme frigging. Diane's rossy give me frigging smith like in those moments. I want those two rather than what las vegas has. I think las vegas can make a close. I don't think they can win. Do you think that all is going to happen for you. I i am not sure. I mean after watching that really only sixty point performance and phoenix their ability to score eighty seven in that game a seven sixty s a lot of ground to gain. I just think that you know for all the reasons that she said. The clutch play ability of phoenix and the many players who can fill that role for them. I just think that is going to get them over the hump against a team. Like vegas. But i can never really count out vegas team at the chelsea gray on it Asia wilson playing volts at. It's going to be close like you said i don't think he's gonna be another blackout game. Four but the advantage like you said of the home court for phoenix. I think will make a huge difference as well. And i just think phoenix is going to advance at. I think it's going to be phoenix in this game. And i want vegas to be better because i've seen them better so i want them to play better collectively as a unit. But it's just gonna be tough to to beat a team like phoenix that has the firepower the experienced brittany griner inside playing in one of her best seasons of her career and turner the x factor. That tilts the scale for me for phoenix. And i hope it's not a blowout. I could see if you're asking me a pick like between aces winning and phoenix blah picking phoenix block. A pinks is like it's not close right now. Who is the better team. It's not like oh you know. Hey like you know the las vegas just off really slow start. And that's what happens. Like las vegas after slow start and it really slow middle that really slow end and they got worked. So i don't see they gotta make up a log ground for me to sit here and and be confident in their chances in that game four. We'll see. i mean obviously like you mentioned. This team has off town. This team has a ton of talent coming for coming on this aside so they could still win it. It's it's taboo. Gave is is really tough because you go back to the beginning of the season in all the prognostication that we were doing and not just two of us but everyone that watches it covers. The league in vegas was picked to be number one right and are picked championship right but now here we are okay and you know so. It's not for lack of. Yeah we want the expectations. Are there for you to be this team. And now it's up to biggest inside how they're going to fill those expectations of themselves. Not for us. Don't feel are filled the expectations that you have on yourself collectively as a group and see if you can advance In a hostile environment on the road against phoenix. And obviously after coming of this game where you have your tail between your legs and you had to walk out of that arena. And i have to walk right back in it and be better to advance and you have to win two four games so i made i. I'm also game fives. I want to gain fives but man the cards that we have been dealt terms of watching these games. It's gonna be a tough road. Is going to be tough for both connecticut and vegas two teams that. I think we're at the top of the list at the beginning of this year. And it's it's gonna be very very interesting off seasons for both these cds but they lose those game force if connecticut vegas lose the wnba. He's got a lot crazier. We can give you a quick run. Let me tell you about what's happening yet. Las vegas is cap sheets. Asia wilson restricted free agent. Quantum williams unrestricted free agent than at the top. Let's can be restricted free agent angel qadri restricted free agent. The that it could be a time for a quick seth in vegas yob asia wilson. You have kelsey flom. You have jackie young. You have a good quarter built around you. Just great here for another year. Maybe it's time to switch your style. Like i understand what bill wants to do. But at some point you had to say while it's not maximizing the talent we have because we have talent like asia wilson. We need to maximize. We need to get her in the spots where she is playing the best and i don't think personally that is with his campaign texture year as great of a player as liz. Is you know what i'm saying like it just doesn't fit on that side then. I wanna take you to connecticut. Where is so brand. January's unrestricted free agent smaller thing. I and john paul jones on restricted free agent. Ll losing ella. Short of your expectations now. When your best player is an unrestricted our adrian. Well we talked about this. A seattle we did in our last podcasts. At this is not what you want. So i i mean adds to adds to. The whole thing adds to the drama. That's gonna be on wednesday ninety that these two teams. I mean it could be the last time. We see them together as constructive. So we'll see. I mean chrissy. That's that's all i got. Oh we forgot to say her social media stuff get down on gave town active on the short ebrahim on twitter you can follow at her stats for all of our all of our stuff you have great newsletter be have a great stats sites that have been using like crazy to bring bring somebody stats to you guys. You're doing giving it the best shot you got. You know what i mean but you you could hear the production on earlier recordings. You know. They like i. I wish i got. I wish to production was up to snuff is now i mean john paul jones even said they asked him what what would be. If somebody had never heard zeppelin. What would you give them to us. He said the first one. You said. everything's on it. You know like the acoustic stuff. The heavy stuff that like every every move that we had is on that record and john jones had the only thing that i don't like about that you could it sound dated the production with the reverberate visit. You know what i mean. It sounds like that time period. You know like when you look at close you look at other pictures. Are we look at motion pictures and you could just see by the cars that are in the movie. You know what we're television show you know. Zach let me take a guess. I go take guess what year. And you'll like seventy four and know we'll look at the thing on tv. And he goes nineteen seventy joe. I told you we're watching kojak. Or whatever you know what i mean like you know what year episode is trump. You know because you could tell by the fashion. Tell by the clothes you could tell by the cars you could tell you know so i mean that's correct. Yeah that's what would john paul jones's reference was to that. I you know he said it. Sounds like it's from nineteen sixty nine like when he listens to you know as you can hear the production going on with the records it sounds more and more dialed.

Bitcoin tops $40,000 for first time, pushing cryptocurrency market value past $1 trillion

"Bitcoin has quadrupled in price in just the past couple of months from ten thousand dollars per coin to forty thousand dollars yesterday and the crypto market in its entirety is now worth over a trillion dollars. There's a few probable reasons for bitcoin spiking so much but the main reason is this the first rally was all about small investor fomo but the second rally is all about big investor from retail fomo three years ago corporate fomo today for example square the payment processing company. They just bought fifty million dollars. Bitcoin just in october famous hedge fund run by a man named paul jones has had two percent of all their asset is now in bitcoin and boston. Favourite finality is now accepting bitcoin as collateral for loans. I'll tell you i'm good for it. Got bitcoin in the back. So jack what's the takeaway for our buddies over in bitcoin. Bitcoin has one main superpower and that is anti inflation all right because he can't trap a fraction of a bitcoin to pay for a smoothie. Right now and it's probably like a little too volatile fairmont and just like the retail fomo of three years ago this corporate morality that could pop and crash and plummet as well keep in mind. I mean jack toussaint in two thousand seventeen. The value of bitcoin crashed almost ninety percent. Right after a jump. Like this if you bought at the top of that bubble you experienced a lot of pain in the next two months but there is a fascinating real value in bitcoin right now which isn't as a currency but actually just to protect against inflation smackers because of the global pandemic governments across the world are printing money to pay for stimulus packages to rescue the economy. So we get cash flowing into the financial system all in hopes of juicing up the economy right now all that new cash though could dilute away the value of the money in that country. And that's the inflation. When like a one dollars orange could eventually cost you two dollars because your money is actually worth less. Because there's too much money out there now. Inflation like nick. Just describe with the oranges and the dollars that is not possible with bitcoin because there are a finite number of bitcoin that could ever be mind in this earth so similar goals the protection against inflation is bitcoins superpower we think that's why corporations and institutions are buying bitcoin right now

‘The Bachelorette’ Casting Shakeup Expected for Upcoming Season

"And I know we don't normally cover bachelor bachelorette stuff but this one thing kind of just took our interest and personally having watched bachelor in paradise. I have a real liking towards Teixeira. So we just wanted to discuss because I think it's interesting. So. As you guys know Clare Carly was the Bachelorette her season of course was interrupted with the whole Cova situation. And nothing is confirmed with basically the rumor is that she refused to continue shortly after filming began. Because she fell in love with one of her contestants. This guy named Del Moss he's thirty one. You know he there was a little bit of drama I think early on with his social media activity according to reality Steve which I can't speeches reliability but I can say he has been right. A lot of times said the basically she fell in love with him night one she gave him the first impression rose and she you know think about anyone else she felt so hard and she was done. and. So. I guess she really just didn't want to continue filming and so. The producers obviously were freaking out and Teixeira Adams who is twenty nine years old she was on Colton season she was basically the runner up. Her and Hannah after Colton basically quit to get. CASSIE and she was on Bachelor in paradise and she was dating John Paul. Jones. She's just a bombshell. I've always thought she was a class act. She's stunning. She's really good energy. I actually am really surprised that she was not always the choice now that I'm looking back on it although. I. Remember when Clare was initially announced we were thrilled because I think it's really exciting when. The woman is a little bit older maybe want something different in her life at that point whatever. But what's interesting is if you remember when they had done the initial casting, they had to let some people go because they wanted order contestants. So apparently, and again, I can't tell you this designed to present. This is what's being reported apparently, they kind of were calling back on both some of the contestants eight initially lecco because they were too young and also some of the contestants that Clare had eliminated. So I don't know what's going to happen, but you know Franz Verbs, let's just take this as factual. I think it's more fun to analyze it that way. And I have to say like while I'm thrilled if this is the case these I would so much rather watch tasty to be honest I think she's just really fun and lively and I didn't I got a bad taste in my mouth from Clare after initially liking the whole Matt James Situation I just thought that that was a little bit. I don't know I was not into it when she kinda call now for basically doing charity work and like I'm happy that Claire Found love that's going on. But what's the fuck? How many people think they found their person the first night you know what? Yeah. I mean listen I'm not a bachelor watcher. So I don't like there's a lot of I guess. Details and and patterns and things that happen over the seasons like with different people and people who nuclear people don't like I'm not involved in any of that I really don't know I have a very like personal view of the situation but to me I always thought the whole point was to find the person you wanted to be with the bachelor and a lot of people probably knew in the beginning but continued to date throughout the show like I just I just thought that was the point maybe I'm off with all of my lack of experience in the bachelor but from the very beginning watcher beginning understand her it seems like that's kind of the point of the show. No. I mean, yeah you know listen I do believe that there are certain times when you just know and you're like, this is my person and there's two sides to that one one I'm sure one side could say like. She's right. It wasn't paired the other guy she was doing them a favor, but the other side is. Okay fine. You have that in how much better of a story will be that at the end of the day you knew since day one I don't know the whole thing seems weird. If this is really the case, all I will say like of Clare's happy and she's with this guy in their happy he's hot For her but if tastes the Bachelorette, that would be some shit.

The time America invaded Britain

"Was seventeen seventy eight an American ship called the ranger was headed to France. The ranger had two missions I to deliver news of the British surrender at Saratoga. The Americans hoped the victory would persuade King Louis the sixteenth to lend troops to Americans fighting the revolutionary war the second goal cause problems for the British John Paul Jones was the rangers captain tune on his voyage. The ranger sunk brig loaded with flaxseed a schooner filled with barley and oats in a merchant's loop filled with beer but Jones was a fiery ambitious captain. He wanted more than just to sink ships so as he sailed through the Irish Sea he hatched a plan to bring the American revolution to Britain chores specifically to the shores of a town called whitehaven where he'd begun his naval career in the name of the United States Navy Jones decided. He didn't made his home town. That idea of course was met with resistance from his top lieutenants. Jones spent a day on board the ranger trying to convince his men to carry out the rate. Finally thirty men agreed in the wee hours of the morning Jones in his crew paddled the two miles to shore and took a nearby British fort without incident Hay success. Yes another crew launched in a second vote. Their job was to set fire to the ships in the harbor into the town. They veered a bit off course instead of setting fire to the ships as planned the men invaded a tavern and got drunk one crewmen the scape and ran through the village to alert the fire brigade of the coming destruction when the people of Whitehaven woke up and gathered at the docks only one ship hip was on fire Jones posted guards at the end of the dock and threw flaming pinecone into the ship's cargo hold he later wrote that the cargo hold was filled filled with coal and if it caught fire it would've spread well it didn't so his crew piled into a Guinea breath and paddled in the morning daylight back to the ranger taking cannon fire from townspeople while they retreated the ship fire. Meanwhile was easily extinguished. The plot was such a failure but Jones only narrowly avoided a mutiny from his crew but it may be Jones got the last laugh. His operation wasn't a success but it ravaged public opinion of the war in Britain Britain British generals had assured parliament the mainland was safe and humorous some Pesky American landing right on their shores according to revolutionary war or historian Tim McGrath the British papers were furious and as for Jones himself. His legacy has survived through history. You may not remember his his name or his infamous raid but you've probably heard the word. She cried soon. After during a naval battle off the Yorkshire Coast when asked if he wished surrender Jones declared I have not yet begun to fight. That battle ended in victory.
