"I also think that you know the opposite of Nb and disconnect rise in friendship too you know like if there's somebody who's having like you know a great book deal or an amazing partner They appear to be having just their best life in this moment. And we're not you can feel like oh that their success their happiness detracting bit for my own sort. Is this incredible healing. That can happen through being able to to access happiness at our friends good fortune. I think there it's also liberal or sometimes we really don't have enough you know and so it would be. I think inappropriate to say to someone who's Material needs aren't getting mad or who is because of racism are transphobia or you know fat phobia or some other form of oppression continually passed over for opportunities to like. Oh just be happy for your friend like no actually. This is a moment where my sense of envy is tipping me off that. There's something got i want. You know they don't currently have in that that there's nothing like not spiritual about wanting to be happy wanting to have a beautiful experience in this lifetime also so not counter what he said but just kind of add on like an end to demonstrate how how infinitely more complex is to practice these principles around friendship in a society like ours. Yeah no i think. It's a really important distinction nationally. Appreciate you sharing that And i agree it's complicated. You know part of what you're signing up for is is that it is complicated and that there are real hard truths you know and real inequities of and that's all part of what we're saying yesterday was like. Let's actually let's step into this conversation. Let's step into the abyss container of action taking naturally like expanded but Yeah i saw so many powerful ideas But just the notion zooming the lens out of friendship as a mechanism for not only the the betterment of my life in your life okay. We're new friends but like it's actually potentially mechanism for broader impact and justice social justice and change and to drop back into more of the buddha's language liberation You know. I think it's it's a powerful notion one that i'll be sitting with for a long time Feels like a good place for us to come paul circle in our conversation as well so hanging out in this container of good life project. If i offer up the phrase to live a good life what comes up for me is being free to give and receive all the love that i need to be able to really feel that love fully. Thank you thank you. "Benefit? Well, well, Who's asking for that? You know is our Let's Let's add that question to why the Jew guards falsified records that were supposed to be watching over Jeffrey Epstein. Every 30 minutes falsified records to say they were doing their job when in reality, they were taking a nap. They were shopping online, and they were looking at sports news websites. We'll get the answer to both those questions to why Why were they doing that? But nobody was asking for that is these are these bad viruses? They just aren't infecting humans quite effective enough. Need to enhance That ability makes super bad viruses. The takeaway from this New York Times piece from this veteran science reporter Nicholas Wade is that the lab League theory has a mountain of circumstantial evidence to support it. While the animal theory has Ciro. There's nothing there's there's no circumstantial evidence to support. It is just a that's what happens Sometimes it's just a likely way that it could have happened. But you know if you don't have any evidence to support it, and look whether I don't really I don't want to say I don't care because I do care. I care where this came from. But I care more about just knowing the truth. Right? There's no agenda here is I think I wanna wanna nail China against the wall on this or nothing. I just I don't want to know the truth because then possibly we could Prevent it from happening again. And I never understand. I mean, I do kind of understand why so many people are so adamant that don't even ask questions. Don't even look into it. You know, It's like that with the election. It's like that with the origins of this, like, what are you trying to hide? Why is it so important to you that I just accept this narrative that I just accept this story blindly without questioning? Well, this goes back. You asked it last week. We talked about this morning. So why did the entire corporate media dismissed? The lab league theory is some crazy conspiracy theory last year Well, because Trump and his supporters suggested it. That was it. It was it didn't it? Didn't It didn't matter. I mean, did the list is long and distinguished of the number of things that turned out to be legitimate that were criticized, vilified and demonized simply Because Trump brought it up or Trump supporters brought it up. We could we could spend the rest of the show coming up with an examples. I'll start well, everyone will have a vaccine. Everyone that wants the vaccine will have been available by April. Trump said that in what September it was September, he said that and it was mocked and laughed at and Aaron Rue par tweeted it a million times with the without evidence. Comma, Trump says, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And you're right. Trump did indicate early on that there was some information some intelligence that indicated this might have come from a lab and I remember the headlines as plain as day. Without evidence tried defying the U. S Intel community, Trump suggests that Corona virus could have come from the lab. So in Sam's top five earlier, Fauci Came out and said That he could not dismiss. The idea came from a lab. The CDC ruling it out Deceive. You see director recently said that last made an interview with National Geographic. Though Fauci dismissed the theory that Cove it could have escaped. From a from a lab. That's what he said Back then it was more important to win an election. In America than it was to figure out where this virus was coming from. That was killing hundreds of thousands of people. If you miss the recent exchange between Fauci and Senator Rand Paul on the subject, it is worth watching the full it in full impartially Deceive. Fauci is breathtaking arrogance and gone dissension, but mostly to see how he refuses to answer or even engage. Ah, fairly straightforward question, Okay? So Fauci insist right that the NIH has never and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institution of Kerala. Gee, he repeats this mantra throughout his exchange, with Paul circling it back to it every time the senator presses on him on why the U. S government was funding a collaboration with the Wuhan Institute of Rod of a Murali Ji. Crouchy If he were concerned, like the rest of us are about the oranges, The cove in 19. If he really wanted to find out whether or not it could have been the result of a game and function research and somehow escaped the lab in Wuhan, wouldn't he have gone to great lengths to answer Paul's questions? No. He didn't know it would make sense. He ignored it. Other prominent neurologist are willing to talk about this. Why isn't Fauci and you talked about it? Just a moment ago in the article ends on this. Their hatred of Trump and his supporters made it impossible for them to not To not not to politicize the pandemic to insist that Cove it couldn't have escaped from a lab because it would benefit Trump and validate his supporters. And now it will prevent them from telling the truth. When the truth eventually comes out, just watch and I don't even know that it would have benefited Trump. I mean, you know, just because you could write it, but I couldn't risk it. I know. I know it couldn't. They couldn't risk that There was a knee jerk. Every time something came out of Trump's mouth. There was a knee jerk reaction from most of the press to say that that's a lie. That's wrong. That's fault. Even when he was speaking truth, even you know, you could come out and say the sky's blue. And you, you know the U. S intelligence community disputes. Trump's claim that the sky is blue, you know they would come out on the new will come up with plenty of stories to discredit anything and everything, he said during a pandemic when we needed more than anything else we needed to have faith. In the messaging that was coming from people right? I mean how much damage has been done to our public health community right now, because of these mixed messages and these inconsistent messages and everything being politicized. Now we've had fun talking about the UFO and you AP deal in this congressional report, But there is something relevant because it's it's along the same lines. You've got individuals who used to be a part of these projects who are saying look, disclosure about the possibility of extraterrestrial life right? It's not something that we can just drop on the American public. It has to be something that that you know. People have to have a conversation and talk about it. It's not going toe couldn't be able to convince individuals just by looking at at at these videos and these radar footage, right, And that's why I think a lot of people believe this is a very slow sort of roll out to the American public of of what the air Force and what our military just don't know about these vehicles and all this. So what does it have to relate to this? Because we're dealing with exactly the same thing. Post Trump presidency right now. It seems like every single week we have another piece of evidence that the criticisms that trump that Trump took the brunt of the complaints of Trump and these things that were said we're just flat out lies pushing back simply because they had to win the election. Trump could do No right. And so what's happening now? We're getting a slow rollout of the truth. And this Wuhan lab situation is a perfect example of that. As you laid out he was criticized. He was vilified for it. How dare you? You call it the China virus, you racist blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And now we have this very slow. CDC says it's a possibility. Fauci Oh, it's a possibility. Now. We've all just accepted the fact that it did come from China..

"Team Durant leading team LeBron by one of the second quarter, 63 62. It was less than two weeks ago that the second half scheduled for the embassy was released. What it did allow for was better matchups for nationally televised games on TV. And, of course, radio. Marquesas. Sure asked Commissioner Adam Silver about this and if it could be something going forward To split have schedules wave in our television schedule works If we had a half a season to see which teams are emerging, and then had a break in an opportunity to reset the television, that schedule and the season schedule that would create some real additional opportunities for fans and for team did. "News app. Hey, thanks So much for being here, talked about this a little bit yesterday, and it's It's amazing to see what's happening yesterday. Kind of threw it out there. I like the political debate. I do. I love to argue in a fun way. Not in a in an angry way. And he gets contentious on social media sometimes, and you know, I get called out for it. By the bosses for jumping in a little bit too harsh. And I admit I get a little harsh on social media, sometimes. So we turned it around yesterday. We had a story yesterday about ST Mary's Food bank, and it's not just them. But the story was about ST Mary's and how they are thousands of Turkey short. For a couple of reasons and one of them being There are a lot more people in need this Thanksgiving and we've seen before. So I kind of threw it out there to the people that we just say that I disagree with on especially not just them, but the people on social media. Let's agree on one thing. We all can do something that here in our community, whether your person wins or my person wins or propositions or how it's working whether the president should stay the course. We're going to continue to argue. I'm not. I don't think we're going to agree on those things. But we all live in the same valley. We all love the place where we live. We all want to see people with full bellies on Thanksgiving. Let's jump in together, and sure enough, a bunch of people have reached out to ST Mary's and made donations, saying that they were listeners to the show, and I didn't do it. For that reason. There's nothing formal about this. I was just saying, Let's do something together. Just in the moment, and so many of you did it and yesterday, um Somebody donated Understand to me this morning, A donation from Twitter donated 400 bucks to ST Mary's provided 2800 meals. With his donation and it which it blew me away that we can disagree on so much, but we always confined common ground. And what a great thing that no matter where you are on the political aisle it we don't have the corner on charity. We don't have the corner corner on giving. So, um, you know, people say, and I don't agree with you about the election, but Great stuff. I can't thank you enough for jumping in with me for doing this. It was just a spur of the moment idea, So thank you. Thank you. Thank you Keep it up. If you can not just ST Mary's ST Vincent de Paul Circle the city Salvation Army. There are so many worthwhile organizations they're gonna overwhelm for Thanksgiving. Find one You love find one you trust do what you can when you can I say that because of this goofy story in front of me. I'm not a I'm not a big fan of celebrities anyway. Have some friends that are and they're great people, but the ones that just lived to be celebrities kind of hurt me sometimes. Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, the billionaire Was urging people to give money to food banks instead of giving money to the Georgia Senate runoff races. And John Legend. Got angry. John legend. The singer got angry because, he said in the long run, If the Democrats win that race, homeless people would be better off and I saw that story and I thought, you know, it's really funny that Someone can be so dug in politically. I'm not even go down the political argument of charity in one party or the other. But isn't it amazing that you've got a billionaire? That's encouraging people to give And you've got a multi millionaire that saying no, it should be for politics. At first, I was angry, and then I laughed. And then a part of me actually felt bad for this guy. If you are it and for any of us, and I gotta put myself and check a lot of times as well. If I am so emotionally invested in a political candidate or in a political issue, or in a political party, that it starts to affect my mood, and it starts to affect my outlook on life. Gotta get that in check. Um, there are so many examples. Off. What's more important, sometimes I am. Those examples when you start thinking about people that are seriously concerned about feeding their family for Thanksgiving. And How easy it is for us. To be able to just do something to ease that a little bit. For those people to someday get back on their feet, hopefully sooner rather than later. And have been touched by the charity of others that will then spend their lives giving back That somehow we allow politics or an issue or something to drive us to the point where we can't see anything outside of that issue. We see everything through the prism off that issue. Whatever that is. Race, gender, sexual orientation politics, whatever it is. You know, I go to a sporting event. I go to a football game. I love a season ticket holder with the Cardinals. I love the Cardinals. I love going to Cardinals games. If I am ever so devastated by a play or a loss that I get into a fistfight with an opposing player. I'm giving away my tickets. I'm never going to another game. I don't I don't understand it. We have an opportunity as a country like we did after 9 11. This cove in 19 thing has devastated so many people. It's not over yet. We have an opportunity to show who we are in a great way. And if you remember back in the day when, when Rudy Giuliani was making sense Rouge, Giuliani talked about 9 11 and said the worst of humanity was met by the best in humanity because of the outpouring of people that showed up in New York City tow work and to donate time and given up their vacations to feed workers at ground zero. It showed who we were. And you know, when I look on social media and people, I have no idea who they are. Personally, they don't know me either Accept what they hear on the radio, and we banter back and forth, sometimes a little bit vitriolic, sometimes a little upset..

"Being here Just a few minutes left in the show. I want to say a big thank you to a few people. You know, it's it's fun to banter on social media. I love it. I really do. I don't take it seriously. I stand my ground on my on my beliefs, and so do the other people. And it gets a little contentious. I mean, you know, we say things and make accusations and goof around. But I put a call out just because of the story about the people of ST Mary's Food Bank, and it's not a unique situation at ST Mary's, um that there's a big need this time of year. They're down thousands of turkeys for the needs. They're gonna have. Part of it is, you know, people are hurting right now, and part of it is they have a huge uptick in people that are in need. So what? I put the challenge out and I'm not doing anything formal. It's too hard to do something formal right now with covert 19, But we're going to bring somebody on next week from ST Mary's to talk about it and the reason why, and I told you I've got an affiliation a deep affiliation with ST Vincent de Paul. They work hand in hand with ST Mary's ST Mary's is a phenomenal place. Same attitude toward people that give they want to make sure they're good stewards of the donations that they get. I talked about circle the city, which works specifically with homeless people, and and medical needs down. It cast that campus for homeless people downtown. I've been moved to tears literally to tears. Seeing that people now in such a tough difficulty. Financial time are still giving. And it's like we feel blessed because we don't have as much as we thought. It was a little precarious, but thank God for what we do have and so people have been giving more. And so I just put it out there finding organization, Salvation Army ST Mary's ST Vincent de Paul Circle the city find an organization this time of year and do what you can. If you don't have a lot don't give a lot. But if you can give anything Please do and specifically a couple of people on social media that I've argued. We argue with we say not nice things to each other all in, you know the spirit of banter. It's nothing horrible, but we disagree. First ones to jump in and say I'm doing it and they did it. And so we matched up s. So it's 100 bucks for me, 100 bucks from him. Someone else sent me a text message and said, I'm doing it too. And so, um, it's nothing formal. It's not a formal movement. It's just a reminder to each other that you know we're pretty blessed that we live in a great country. We're watching this election. It's contentious and covert 19 and it gets contentious. But it's a time where we're able to put all of that aside for just a couple of minutes. It's It's kind of like when you're at a sporting event. That when they play the national anthem, I can stand next to a 40 Niners fan and in unison, pay tribute to our country, and then when it's over game on, we're back to the game, but we're still unified at the base at the core of who we are. We all live in the same town. We all live in the same valley. We all wanted to be the best it can be and think about how great it is for us to be in a position where we can help someone. It's the greatest feeling in the world to feel like you can help another human being. And for me, it's a blessing to be able to give If you've ever been in a position where you can't give or you've ever been in a position where you had to be the recipient of someone else's kindness, you thank God for those people when you're in need But when you're in the position to give, it feels so much better to realize I am in a blessed position where I can give to others. So I'm not telling you who to give to how much you to give. I'm asking you to think about it. And if you're in a position where you can give Find a way to do it. It was simple. For me. It was 30 seconds online to ST Mary's. I was, You know, I made $100 donation to pace for 700 meals, um, pretty remarkable on their website, so ST Vincent de Paul is another one that I can vouch for. That squeezes every penny out of every dollar you donate when they say that they feed, clothe house in hell they do. They are such a huge resource for medicine for dental work for clothing for off food to people in need all over the state of Arizona. They have been for years and years and years, and I got to tell you that it's that there's such a great resource, so whoever it is whatever organization you can, I hope you will. We're going to continue to debate. We're going to continue to disagree. This election in Arizona is not over yet. It's close. I mean, there's only what 22,000 votes I think left account. It's close to being over. And when it is it is, but until then, we're going to disagree. Covert 19 the pathway out We're going to disagree the next four years of a Biden administration. If it happens, we're going to Disagree like we did about the Trump administration. I'm not giving up because it's not over yet, And I still want to see if my guy can pull it out. I don't want there to be stunts. I don't want them to the illegalities. I don't want there. I wanted to be just over with in the fairest fashion when it is will all move forward, And I'm looking forward to the fight. And maybe maybe if we can kind of join hands, figuratively in something as simple as providing a Thanksgiving for a family who might not have it if we work together on that. Maybe we can drop the gloves a little bit. And maybe not. Fight is hard toward each other personally, as we do when we stand by ideals. I don't know. I just I do like the debate. I don't like the arguing in the fighting. I don't like the division. Maybe this is one pathway to we're not so divided. After all. Who knows? Maybe I'm too pie in the sky about the whole thing, But it really was. It was great today to just throw it out there and have people respond. It was moving, So thank you to those that did And hopefully you'll be able to find a way to jump in and help in the future. Um, before we get out the numbers today for covert 99 9% rate of infection or positive testing rate, which is good yesterday was 22% very scary to people thinking we were jumping back again to that super high level. Well, hopefully it's going to stay below 10%. Let's kind of lower this. As people are starting to learn to manage covert 19. I think more than anything else, management of the virus is going to be the pathway out, and I think that should be the next message. We start hearing from our leaders about managing covert 19. We heard from Dr Fauci saying. People aren't in favor of a shutdown. He thinks we can manage our way out of this. Especially with the vaccine right around the corner for.

"On our news, 92 3 FM and the news Thanks so much for being here it is. It's Mike Groom had show way. Appreciate you being with us homos problem in Arizona is growing and it we have grown in the city of Phoenix in homelessness in a while, and there are a lot of groups to do a great job. You've heard me talk about them before. Because other major cities it's seen a lot more in Phoenix. It's kind of in an area of downtown In 500. People sleep every night in sleeping bags, tents, makeshift tarp shelters on the streets around human services campus in south of downtown Phoenix. And that's cast. That's this campus. That's downtown. But what covert 19 has done is this homeless People used to be able to go into a respite centre during the day and get out of the heat. They can't because of covert 19. They had to stay outside in the shade. Sleeping conditions used to be. They were packed together well because of covert 19. They put up chains and they made it harder so that people would distance and so the homeless camps are now spread out in a bigger area. People are distanced more And the reason why I'm bringing this up is specifically about covert 19, but about the problem of homelessness that is about to come to us. And I think we're going to start seeing more and more people, unexpected people becoming homeless, at least for a short time because of what covert 19 has done to our economy. We have put a moratorium on evictions. But that's not going to last forever. And although some people be able to cut deals with landlords and get their jobs back and climb out of that hole, we understand statistically, there will be people. That right now have homes that will not in the future, And it's going to make this problem even worse. So the story that I get this from is from a part of downtown where the business is say, you know, we've been We have been apart of this forever and really, the city isn't doing a whole lot about it. I don't think that it's a municipal problem. Um And I don't think, um, I think it's done by the private sector in a better way. I've been down to cast I I've mentioned before I friend Marty. It circled the city and what they're doing The great work they do, Andi just it's it's all privately funded, I would say, mostly privately funded. And to see the different holes that they fill when it comes to homeless people is remarkable and they deserve our attention and our support. I've told this story before that I had a cousin who was my hero. When we were little kids. He was the older brother. I didn't have. We spent summers together and and we grew up together until I moved to Florida when I was very young when we stayed in touch. When his mother died When he was in high school, he went down the road of drugs and alcohol, and he drowned his sorrows that way and became homeless lived in Vegas, where my his oldest sister, My oldest cousin lived, and when I would go in visit, I would always find him. He always knew I was coming and we would hang out. And he looked like a typical homeless person, but not not to me. He was just my cousin. And That for me became the face of homelessness. My cousin died in a homeless camp in Vegas. Whether it was an overdose or a seizure. He died. And so when I see the face of a homeless person, I know there's a story and there are people that love them, and now my cousin was homeless by his own devices. He caused the problem. He didn't want to fix the problem. He wanted to stay on the streets. But there are many people out there that want and need the help that we can give them. We're going to see families on the street. We're going to see more and more people looking for shelter and they're not going to find it. This is not a problem. It's going to go. That's going to go away without the help of people like you and me. And if you think it doesn't affect you, it does And it will. And until someone in your life touches you that's homeless until someone you know is without a home. You may be human. It may not be a problem that moves you. But there are people out there in the private sector that are working very hard to solve parts of these problems. Then there's ways we can help the three things we offer. The world is money, talent in time, and those three things we have the different degrees at different times in our life. And if you're involved in a cause that you believe in, I think that's awesome. If you're looking for girl Group of people to get involved with these organisations, whether it's ST Vincent de Paul Circle the city they're giving masks to homeless people. When homeless people are Covad 19 positive. They're testing them. They're putting them places that are separated, whether their pods or sometimes these old hotels where they're giving them rooms so that the Koven 19 problem. Would spread like wildfire throughout the homeless community. These organizations are making sure that doesn't happen. They're getting some basic medical care. They give them hygiene kits so they can have the basics of toothbrushes and toothpaste and a mask. And there's a lot of work that's happening to make sure that society isn't spreading covert 19 through the homeless community and at the same time trying to fill their daily needs of just nourishment in water. And maybe cure the problem for those that are looking, and many of these groups are doing a great job off, making sure that they can get off the streets. Whatever their issues are, whether it's a money or a legal problem that keeps him from getting a driver's license, a transportation issue a drug issue or a mental health issue, helping these people overcome these basic problems and then getting them back. Into a home and back into the mainstream of society. That's something that I want to be a part of, But I bring it up because in the coming months when covert 19 is over in the moratorium on evictions end we're going to see more and more people face homelessness. And it's going to be people just like you and me. And we could help stave that problem off right now. If we get involved find an organization that's fighting it and get involved. Nancy Pelosi unloads on the media coming up after the next hour. We're going to talk about her unloading and what she said in wide. Trading wealth is in place for you and your retirement, and they got advice for you. If you've been separated from a job for whatever reason during covert 19, and you still have money with a former employer in there for a one care retirement account, get control of those dollars. You want to have control of those dollars because if they close or sell your money could be tied up for a long time without your control. And then trading wealth is going to help you stay on track for retirement. What's great about this? Is there going to help you make sure that you're navigating the good times. You're prepared for the times that we were unexpected, and when it's time for you to retire, you have.

"The mike groom head show Appreciate you being with us today. We're going to get Teo just after the top of the hour. We're going to talk about More anti police sentiment in our community that kind of make me shake my head and wonder what the world's going on. We're going to get to it in a moment. Let me remind you whether it's so you've heard us talk about partnering with the Venus Rescue mission. ST. Vincent de Paul ST Mary's Food Bank, is doing a big drive for water. Koven, 19 is impacted everyone and one of the things that people aren't very aware of is that with covert 19 the way it is and the homeless population there is a campus called Cast in downtown Phoenix. I talked about circle, the city and the other organizations. But what usually happens is they make room for homeless people indoors to congregate to get out of the heat during the hottest part of the day because of the distancing regulations and covert 19 there isn't a lot of shelter for homeless people, which means more of them are outside, so the need for water right now is bigger than it's ever been. So ST Mary's food bank is doing a drive they've got. They've got a location at 31st Avenue and Thomas just south of Thomas. They've got went out. Surprise. You've got ST Vincent de Paul Circle the city all of these organizations. That are already out there helping homeless people. If you think about it while you're out grocery shopping and you have the means to do it, grab an extra case of water, drop it off at one of these organizations and just help them hydrate the homeless people. It really is a simple way to help people keep people alive during these hottest days of the summer. Mom and it really This is something that really is going to save lives. So if you condemn it, please do it. Mountainside fitness failed to stay open. They challenge the governors and they went through the courts Court said. No, they've closed down. They are going toe, Tom Hatton, Hatton said. He's gonna pay his employees through the 27th because that is the day that this shutdown is expected to expire. Now, whether or not the governor carries that longer than July 27th. We don't know. But Theo's fitness and life time fitness were two other groups to other fitness clubs. Chains that were also opened for a short time asleep one or two of their location sighted. And then they closed down as well. EOS and Lifetime are saying they're working behind the scenes with the governor's office. Or at least that's what the story's air saying to come up with a plan where they may be able to reopen before the July 27th deadline. Now, that would be very interesting to me if they were able to pull this off because in speaking with Mr Hatton, and in a press conference that he had he had been trying to work with the governor's lawyers in just that capacity in finding a way to come up with new protocol that could keep the fitness industry open, give people a chance to work out. It's going to be 120 degrees. Steve and I were talking earlier this morning. It's only happened three times in Arizona, where they've recorded temperatures over 1 20 It happened back in the nineties early 1990. Then it happened twice in back to back days in 1995. I remember that because that's the year I moved here. That was my first Arizona's summer 1 2121 on those two days. I think it was actually two days in 1990 wasn't I thought one day and night if I thought it was night, two in 95 looking, but I think that was we set a record that that summer for days over 1 12 or something. It was my first Arizona summer. And I was working as an electrician's outside. It's almost impossible. I don't care if you get up in 4 a.m. It's going to be impossible for people to get outside, getting a run. Get in a workout or a hike and those that are trying. Even the seasoned veterans and hiking and other things are finding themselves physically unable to do this. So you're going to really need to find a way to do it Be creative, and so the fitness industry for people's mental well being, not just only our physical well being is going to be a necessary thing. There's gotta be a way to give people the ability to get back into the gym. And blow off some steam going toe workout in and it I think it's essential to your well being. And this isn't something frivolous to other people to the people that don't exercise regularly. I understand that I get it. But for the people for them, it is the physical release. It is the mental well being is the way they escape and what it does for your physical and emotional condition. It's already well documented of how good that is for people. There's got to be a way. Toe work in these industries and be able to open these facilities again. And I'm hoping against hope that this is what's gonna happen, and I'm wondering how this is going to To play out because according to the story that I have in front of me, they're saying that they're talking with the governor's office. This is lifetime Indios in a plan that may allow them to open before the 27th with new protocol. And I'll be honest. One of the safest places I feel is when I go to the gym. You know, when my gym opened, I'm in a different and unique situation because I work, you know, and one on one training. And there's never anybody in the gym, but the trainer and myself and but the even them the extent that they were going to this is a very when I say very small in comparison to the large fitness is it's a smaller Jim. But they've got stations with the spray and the sanitizing spray and wipes. They have somebody that's constantly mopping the floor and it's just it is the cleanest place except for a doctor's office that I've been in. There's got to be a way to get these doors open again has to be Just after 11 o'clock. We've been talking about anti police sentiment that's been permeating everything from our school system. Tio two different events. There's one more That really just I looked at him and I shook my head..

"Triathlon would say I'm joined by Matt Burden Including Season One of Friday night lights as well as the first couple episodes of season. Two fuel falling along watching three episodes of the hit. Tv show per week and this is a big week for us. A lot going on this one. That a lot going on in more than I bargained for way more than you bought. You thought the racism is going to be the peak of unbelievable plotlines or the child molester. Living next door. Tim Riggins you thought all that would be the peak. Oh my friend. Friday night lights has a way of dragging it deeper and deeper you. Just wait till you get to seize the FI. You want him believe it Friday Night Lights. It's like Friday night lights trying to be like breaking bad going on everything has got just. They're just missing the drug. They're missing the Neth okay. So here's my columns today of the different categories. I have the football team which obviously in this these three episodes they play at the state title game against Voodoo Tatum. I have the Taylor's in everything that's going on with Julie and her mother and her father over the course of this episodes I have Matt. I have sorry I have met Graham all Lila Entira who obviously spend some time together. All three of those. You somehow find time together in these episodes and my have finally obviously Tyra and Landry the rule if we can end with the man. What do you want to get into? I don't I don't know if we're going to start off with a hard hitting suffers or say about. I think we need to get into it. I just think we just need to jump right into because it's hard to avoid talking about that for extended being very true. It's like Mia Madison. Did the book of Eli recently. Which have you seen this film? I have been a minute. Okay well the big. If you've seen it at least you hopefully know this. Part of the big reveal at the end of the movies. He's blind and like you find wind at the very end. It's like we've we spent the first five minutes trying to dance around that Madison. Where I'm just gonNA tell everybody that I think this plotline with Landry and tyra is a little bit of the same. So yeah so. I'll just lay the picture I'll let you Bring home here because you had not seen this before landry. Tyra are spending more time together and obviously landry is trying to further that relationship because he has a crush on tyler seeing a clar that is following tyra around town at one point he. The car almost hits tyrod in a parking lot and it becomes clear that it's the person who tried to rape her in the tasty freeze parking lot a few episodes ago. Finally Tire is confronted by her assailant in the parking lot. Is it the same tasty freeze? No no it's a convenience store. She's confronted by her Salem. And I'll just let you talk through it. Tell me what you were thinking. What happened at all? Okay so my first lady go. Then later he goes into the store get entira all the things that she wants. Law print wrinkles get mentioned a lot in the show. Hey maybe they signed the deal. Smart Business decision by pringles to have a little product placement in Friday Night Lights. No doubt So you hear the guy. I talked to her like say something. Like you're hanging out with that loser or something like that like as he's walking behind her which very eerie very scary it would. I would be scared if a guy came up to me and said like something ominous to me. When I'm like by myself in a parking lot like I would be scared. I can only imagine what a high school girl feels like if a guy came up behind her and say that and knowing that someone has been falling her like you you gotta automatically assume like. That's the dude who tried to rape you so I was like okay this moment. Like this is his moment like Like back to the future like whenever Marnie McGuire. Actually the movie in Madison or doing tomorrow there. You go good title. Paul Circle Mrs Moment he's GonNa like clock this dude and then they're gonna like go home like he's GonNa Comfort her and they're finding GonNa Kiss. I was like okay. Yeah that's like the the story about thing but I I completely forgot that. This is Friday night. They bring in racism and like a Damn Radio. Rode a train. The chemical explosion like this. Yeah they're bringing they bring up everything so I did not think whenever whenever they get into the total lander gets you know Lindor gets punch gets kinda flattened into the trash and I see the metal bar. I'm like okay can use that in like him like across the back No he goes straight for the headshot. Yeah boom right on the head twice not once twice staggers in once and then finishes the job Then you know entire like she sees the blood like on She sees the blood on the backwards head. She's like what like whats I'll say okay. There's no way in that like this show include murder. That was my first thought I was like. There's absolutely no way. Yeah this show will include a high school kid murdering somebody right But that's exactly what happened and not only did they have a high school kid murder someone but they had high school kids dispose of the body without going celebrities. Nothing like that. They had heighten decided to throw a body that they had that they killed. Accidentally I I wouldn't say intentionally killed him but okay this the second. The second shot was much that was my point is that I one. He's clearly so out of he might have died there but landry. I mean just. Put the icing on the cake. That second one. Right across the jaw. Kate now this guy. That died wasn't a scumbag. Obviously clear SCUMBAG. He wasn't he was gonNA probably without him right. He was gonNA walk away free clear then he hit. Landry entira with the. I'm definitely GONNA come back for you in points to tire. And that's when Landry picks up the pipe now she's like no. Yeah no you're not gonNA come back so you know I I just. I did not think that murder would be involved in this. Especially like 'cause we've been we've been like trying to find relatable things like from our high school days when whenever we've been going through this like me and you like. Oh that's kind of like a Mario Lopez kind of like I could see that happening. Yukon like Blah Blah In no I don't think I mean I'm going to speak for you here. I don't think murdering someone with someone else one of my other classmates. That's not very relatable. No no so so. They're kind of locked me a little bit like come on like what we're doing here we're we're murdering someone else so let's spend. Let's just talk through. How ridiculous because you're right? I off as you mentioned tyrod notices the blood right right so they pick up the body they put it in. Landry's let's assume they clean Landry's car that means there's blood on the payment. Do they clean up the blood on the pavement and during that entire course? There's no one in. The convenience store comes outside. No one comes into the convenience store because they're not like around the back of the they're just right on the side. I mean right out in the open against a road so no one sees putting the body into the car. No one finds the blood on the outside. There's apparently no security camera footage of any kind that they have to worry about like they're just all free and clear. Everything works out flawlessly. Yeah yeah seriously. It's usually I have so many questions and it was just. I did not feel like it was necessary to have an murder. Somebody like I get him trying to like saving her. Yes that would have been cool like you thought it was gonna be lasted like Superhero. Then him it's high where we're GONNA go out and bang later. That's what he thought was going to happen right. You thought I was going to happen in plus because we've been rooting for Landry. Like this whole time. No doubt. He's like he's helped him. He's helped him well. He didn't really helped him. He did. Tim's work for him and then he's been trying to. He's been trying to win over tyrod someone who is kind of out of his league not then she did league and you know he kind of root for the underdog you know he killed somebody you. I don't know it's just it's weird. I didn't think that it was necessary to add that storyline because we have a storyline going on. I didn't think that was a necessary. Storyline to go down right and so when I now so now. I'm watching this for whatever the third time I think and you start. I'm trying to start picking picking out by bigger like wisest going on because it. I like to your point when you watch this I I. It's just so jarring that whole my. Gosh what is this is a TV show but a high school football team and now all of a sudden. I'M WORRIED ABOUT THEM. Cleaning up a body correctly like what's happening. I think they made a decision and now going forward. I'm really curious of what it's going to look like. But obviously they just that the murder happens in episode one of Season Two obviously episode twenty two last episode of Season. One is the State Championship Game. Which entire show is built around the football team? Obviously note the name. I think they made the conscious decision when they were writing out. What this plotline was going to look like. They knew re-booting season. I mean look for the football team. The second football season they're going to have to find ways to not make that slog feel the same right because they can't just do what they did in the first. They relied so heavily on what was going on with the football team. And Oh my God. Are They GonNa win this week? They couldn't do that. Basically the copy and paste the exact same thing twice and so I think they're launching in not only the murder but also the surprise pregnancy at birth of a child in this show that I think they're using those two plotlines to try to keep the audience engaged as the Football Team. Kinda gets towards the end of whatever they're going to be doing this year so that way it kind of keeps the story turning because truthfully if it just came in and it was like. Here's the panthers trying to fend their state title. I really think though this show would have lost some of its its pull some of its drawing. But now I don't know about you but the first time I saw this is like okay. So what the Hell's going to happen with this dead body. GotTa wash up on the point. Right someone's GonNa find. It is landry going to go to jail Landry for the first time show talks about his dad being a cop so now. I'm not even that is all I am thinking about right and I think that was kind of on purpose because they knew they couldn't just go back to the well of well. There's a football team and they're trying to win some games right. No I get that I get that I just these cockamamie literally cream. It's just a little. I mean the murder is so crazy and that's not to mention again. That coach Taylor's wife has a baby. And she's what forty she's Gotta. Be Iota Forties. She has a kid in high school. Those are two insane things that are I mean the murder vastly more insane than childbirth. But that's two really big block. Jenner's kind of plopped together in a forty five minute stretch and that to me trying to think existential which maybe I'm over thinking. Maybe that's why they're there is that we have a reason to kind of stay with the dillon. Panthers I get it I get it. I knew I just admit the admit that you're curious how this is all GonNa work out now though right. Oh No. I'm I'm definitely curious because the murder is not like something that like. That Lila did where you know. We just completely forget about her smashing into the dam like all the cars and the car dealership and then we never hear about it again. Right isn't the murder actually taking the other there's a murder But no so yeah I am drawn in. I was just like with that like in especially like you have to be landry like did it have to be the underdog that we're all rooting for like come on. That was my only gripe. Yeah now I really liked major. Probably we probably be prefaced. If haven't seen the show spoiler but obviously landry didn't do it on purpose. He was trying to kill the guy..

"Catoon to emerge in me around me or am. I following my own narcissistic intuition here. My Messiah Complex Yeah. I've been accused of it all my life and I have to say to what degree is it true. Why don't a thousand other ministers and priests say what I'm saying and actually they do? In many cases they just were given the the immense platform the providence seems to have given me that I I get to say these things and allow them to be heard. That's a gift. That trust in the relational field thinking goes Paul Circle for talking about devotion and simplicity and living into this public justice that we're in relationship whether we realize it or not were in conscious relationship with one another were in relationship to Christ things. There's there's this cosmic Catholic city that becomes our new capital. T. Tradition that we can trust even if many of us are. I feel like I'm a Christian. I don't really and I remember. I came to you Richard Actually two years ago. I and I was like you know feeling like I needed to like join the joining somewhere. Because I felt expulsed from my evangelical background says maybe it should be maybe I should convert to Catholicism like this makes so much sense you know I love the mystics mystics or mostly. Catholic should totally be Catholic. They have all the symbols. I like in the incense.

"Right all right we're back. I'm confessing day rich while I used to live in Philly. She was pregnant with Julie. Paul Circle Your Do. Is that now here on the story about my parents is that my mom was dating my dad and was falling in love with him. Didn't I didn't realize or didn't think that they were dating other people. My mom was like such a smoke like she. At the beginning of data my dad she was dating other people and then I think she was like I am falling for this guy and the all the other guys kind of fell by the wayside and the stories that she really getting ready. That was like Friday night and my dad was like in the shower and she would be like. Hey what do you WanNa do this weekend. You know and he was like Ah. I gotTa go to Connecticut. And my mom's like what and it was because he had to break up with his girlfriend up there so he had a girlfriend to and then he realized what time for my mom and I had to go basically break it off with this other girlfriends. The thing about your story that I feel so funny is that it's so typical men and women that like least got to this breaking point because of this information at the exact same time that you realize you wanted to commit to are the same night she was like I'm fucking dying and yeah you're like I want to be with the same catch. Yeah Yeah Yeah Absolutely Yeah Shame Feline pageant. Shower just reminded me of the time of it. I told her that I loved you by accident. Happened like two months runs into the relationship that we were you know. Well we weren't no. We released shout the bottle of Wine Island. I know and I don't do that okay. Hi do due. Listen it's very real. I told the guy that I was living with that I loved him. I told him in the middle of sex. I love it I said I love you. I did it again with a guy this fall I they. They just kept talking me so thank you both of them for ever say anything. 'cause I die bitch man. Girls don't handle that MS true I was GonNa say it's kind of like how I adore that she cries at everything. I love it right. Anybody who love it good nothing also so to get back to my hair and ice like oh I love you and it was a total accident. He was just like explodes around like awkward but so he made it funny and awkward and I was like you know what I meant like whatever but we re look that slipped out or did you realize how now I think I was just like all of you. Thank you for doing like she also told me like a month before I remember it anyway so yeah of course you don't remember your blackout but so I love this she's like a blackout drunk. And you're sober. And it's not she liked doesn't really early drain it's rarity was harsher date. It was hard to go on a date so but right yeah. It's hard to date sewer. I mean I can't even imagine it I really obviously. It wasn't problem property at any rate to get back to our narrative so we thirty six hours and then she finally gets back to me and says I canelo starts the dialogue back again and it was like all right. Well we need to talk. Let's let's let's go on a date and she showed up state at least three Zanex on board to the wind. You anything fucking thank you do anymore gone. I mean I feel like I've I'm so much younger than I can't even fathom doing that stuff now but yes okay so we wind up. It was like well. I only you WanNa be with you. I only want you. So we did Mutual destruction same time. We both pulled up tender and we put our phones on the table and like instead the honeymoon thing where you like give each other. The champagne is like three to one. Boom tenders gone. Because this was I mean that was pretty much the only happened and at that point we tell people we met on craigslist we once he won many asked how and he taught me to say the abortion clinic and without missing a beat though. Jim goes well at least now. You both don't want kids like on the comment like no talks about fucking transvestite. I I exactly. I just knew that that would be up his alley Mississippi it so yeah so yeah so. That's our words story. I love the end and this show our show kind of came about because like she quickly was becoming the vet to all my comic friends ends and I mean you know half most comics are broke so it'd be like hey. Can I talk to Lisa. Just like trying to figure out what they needed to do. But it was a lot of stuff like Alex was dog sitting for somebody. He's like so if there was like five. We'd gummy bears. When I left the House I can only find one of them.

"Wouldn't you just think thinks that he's a Dick in <hes> in don't look back right. He is terrible intellect back. He's mean to reporters reporters. He's been to Donovan Donovan dressed as a reporter wearing a hat with a label says press in it. I think it's easy to be hard on dylan because he's so lionised he everyone that should have been hard on him. Wasn't your punching up basically yeah. That's right when you punch Bob Dylan my my friend David Reese who food is a world famous anti skeptic who truly believes he's a true believer. He wrote the comic. Get your war on correct but he is of the opinion that the death of Bob Dylan will more than any other popstar be the one that that that the irritates gen-x up no it will it will it will demarcate the change when Dylan dies. Everything thing goes with him generation. That's right so every single publication will have it on the front page. It will be like Lady Diana there except there will be seven million times more critical reappraisal of his catalog and his significant. We've already lost to Beatles. I mean we we have the experience and so that's the argument against this idea of Dylan is well. No Paul McCartney really is the bigger but he says no no no no. We've already already lost you. Beatles McCartney will get you know he'll get a good send off. He will probably outlive ringo at least hard to know though Ringo. Just you know plan just pieces his way through everything we can look younger every time I said what's he doing wrinkle could be I mean Ringo has never exerted himself gleason all playing the drums shitting Edel. If you want to live a long time she played a little tennis or something I mean he's still gets out but I guess Paul. McCartney does too Paul still does three and a half hour shows polls vegetarian balls Mitch and I'm Paul did fewer drugs. Oh well Paul would argue that no he was right there doing the drugs. That's one of the one of the things about Paul is that he he he has very little sense of how it looks when someone praises John Lennon and he has to step in and say well you know we knew due to others that to what does that so who's the last I it depends on who the last Beatles will be like Ringo is the last beadle then you know nobody's GonNa be beating their breasts and putting on sackcloth and ashes. He'll be on the cover of time probably but yeah it's not time will not there's a hostelry concept of time but Paul Circle. I think that's right. That's right time time. We'll be a MOEBIUS. A Strip club Newsweek will be a flat circle. <hes> the the thing about Paul. Is We already know we've already evaluated Paul all away but dylan remains a mystery. He's an enigma he really is. Did you read the story. It wasn't that long ago that he got picked up by the cops in some <hes> in some like New Jersey Beach town like blue collar beach down just because he was walking around late at night in a Hoodie just keeping in windows and the somebody called the cops on this Weirdo and begin grab picked him up and he was like Oh. It's Bob Dylan if he I was just like Oh yeah. I liked to do well on the one hand. I like an old white white person getting arrested just for wearing a Hoodie. It seems only fair sure but also windows wants material music might have been just one of those small towns where the houses are close to the street so you can't help but look in the window of his next album is all like songs from New Jersey living rooms and they watch in American idol but they're watching it on devaux. Although those New Jersey beach towns are like it's like a their blue-collar places springsteen territories called the cops she was like hey bob come over and he's like hey there's going to be this Weirdo on the Kreiner..
