"I was one of them. I know you need to watch out for these people because I was one of them. Paul's never shy about sharing his own story, his story about his conversion about his past. About his unexpected path to Christ. He tells that story a number of times in the book of acts. But here in this letter to the Philippians, Paul's words are not only a testimonial, they are a confession. Paul tells us and he tells his readers. This is who I wass. If you want to know about those people. Look at my past. Because for most of his life, Paul Bet everything he add on his record, and that record was built on four pillars. First Pillar was his pedigree, He says. If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have Mohr circumcised on the eighth day of the people of Israel of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of he, Bruce. Paul is saying I was born in the right family. I am in the right tribe. I am one of God's chosen people. You can't touch me. I have been born in the right place. Don't ask Paul. If he was born again, he'd say I was born right the first time. And he was putting all of his eggs in that basket. I mean, the right family and the right try. Not only that. In addition to his ethnic identity and his family identity, he also had his position as to the law, a heresy. He was in the right party. The Pharisees were both well respected and influential and his identity as a Ferris. He gave him position and status in the community. The third pillar was his power. As to zeal, a persecutor of the church. Say Paul liked.

Ross and Carrie are Falsifiable

"Hello and welcome to Oh no Ross and Carrie the show where we don't just report on for in science rally and claims of the paranormal, but take part ourselves. Yup, and they make the claims we show on to carry poppy and I'm raw spot sure, and this is a little updates and corrections episode. We've been meaning to do that for a long time because it's been a while since we've Enron, we've updated ourselves in corrected ourselves. Well. We do that off and on anyway, so we've released lots of little mini corrections along the way, because whenever relevant and not to off-topic. We like to let you know when we messed up. Set things wrong or just update every body. Right? 'cause there's all. All these little things that continually happened after investigations they never fully leave us. We are left with newsletters. We are left with new bell respondents video obsessions right yet new subscriptions to youtube channels. That's kind of the danger of the show in our format is we cover so many topics and we try to stay kind of tapped into all of them. That's at ten on the danger rating is. Youtube Rabbit Hole! Danger Ratings from all the investigations. Just add them up. You'll probably notice when we get to corrections that a lot of these corrections are like. When did they ever even talk about that bright? I don't remember that it's not important to me well. It was important to someone who emailed us a lot of the Times. It'll be something that we sort of tangents. Head tangent all. The most dangerous territory when I remember hearing about this thing Blah Blah well anyway. Moving on that's when I get things wrong than when we hear about him, but this is good. We WanNA. Know when we're wrong. There's nothing wrong with being wrong. We're always going to be wrong. Everybody's wrong about things all the time and the way you find out to to get them right in change, you know sometimes people right and say well. You got this thing wrong here you. Are you getting mad? Mad, at other people for getting things wrong. Yeah, the this fine people get things wrong. There's a difference when you're making a claim. That's part of Your Business. Your Job Your profession, your promoting Brung ideas, and there's also another thing where you know you learn, and you stop saying things and say Oh. Sorry, oops! I was wrong about that. I won't get that wrong again. I think. How central is that thing to your point? The theme of whatever you're doing. Quite a bit his. Your whole thing is that you're the world's most supported medical medium. Most supported most backed by the scientific establishment I. Don't know. Maybe you should know what a double blind study is. It's that whole maximum of extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. There's kind of a similar scale there. Where there's a level of importance to the thing you're saying. Yeah, and how much rides on you getting correct anyways. We want to clear the air when we get things wrong so mostly people write very nicely. Yes, that's when we really appreciate that all right anyway. I update and or correction So, we cured cove Ed. That's what my notes say. Okay, so this is in relation to our recent homeopathy for covid nineteen class that we took. Yeah, so we offhandedly asked what hydrotherapy is because she kind of went quickly passed that I guess in a slide and we were like what's bad. Things with water. Is that drinking water? What is that? We're going to be bothered? Yeah, there is I mean so much flies by in that class. It's wild, but a few people wrote in or tweeted. Let us know what it is, so we're right. It's using water for pretty much anything. It's a big catch all term for some things varying levels of repute. Yeah, so that's one of the problems is that it's so widely applied that. Up Studies about like a hundred therapies real. Does it work including like using an ice pack? You know like on a sprained ankle as an example of water therapy. Therapy. Okay that works saying well yeah yeah. Agree Fun of the thing that comes to my mind is Charles. Darwin had a water cure that he was really into and Thurston is run. A good cure for Thursday's to drink water. Yes, very good Charles Darwin I didn't find out about this until I saw the two thousand nine film creation with Paul Bet knee playing Charles. Darwin and there was this whole scene where he takes his daughter to this practitioner, and they dumped just tons of water on him, and I'm watching the movie thinking he didn't do that. That's crazy. Turns out he did. He had a series of terrible complaints of all kinds of things going wrong with his body. Body he was vomiting, he had nausea. He had I think headaches and eggs, Emma and just everything was wrong with Charles. Darwin Poor Guy People now think it was maybe some problem with his autonomic nervous system. That's like the system that runs all of your unconscious functioning of your body so newest poor guy. He was miserable all the time, and so he would have like water dumped on him and Yeah, he had a doctor trying out the on, and he didn't buy into that so much. Charles Darwin because it was pretty new at the time. anyways. That's what I think. When I think of water therapy, you were saying. Well we've also of course heard. It applied to colonic hydrotherapy, which is right, shooting water up here, but for various reasons, and that's definitely on the less supported by the evidence

"All right on the line as always our friend friend cousins sal. You know. I was talking to coach K.. Today south and he said you know I was thinking about that Sao. He is the face of a winner. What that's what he said? Well you really talking to coach K.. Now you didn't see that coach K.. Did the thing they did the cowboys game with it. I missed it. I was Off Off wow what happened. Collins were talked about how they it was like this whole thing coach k.. Talking about Dak Prescott at how. He had a face of a winner. It was this whole produced in the bathroom. Why didn't more jinx's hair? That's great. Yeah well He. He did have the face of a winner today. I didn't win the game. It was the most interesting game. Vikings cowboys of a really disjointed bazaar. They football that featured multiple times are quarterback throwing football and it was the ruling complete but then it was ruled fumble another game and it was basically the same play over and over again and I don't know what happened to them so China ahead talking about goff versus cousins and the and the ball that's men it's at the hand is going forward or if it's not yeah they they need to figure something than out with this whole thing. I very miss it was. It was definitely not a good day to try to make money. That's for sure. Lots of favorites went down lots of money. Line parleys biggest upset of the year in Saints Falcons and the colts were a big favourite. They lost and who else Well the the co- The colts and the saints were double digit favorites. Yes and if you ran obviously we're a big big loss there. If you can't Casey was I was a disgusting loss. Yeah yeah well we were do we we. We we always know in November. That's true there's a wonky weekend did not expect it to be this weekend. I was more appalled by the quality of football for the most part in all these games. Which is why the dowsman aside now? You're still licking your wounds. You boys lost but yeah. The quality of play was really high in that game. I actually thought both quarterbacks played while I thought the running games were really good and you know unlike all the other crap we watched all day. There wasn't turnover filled. Wasn't a lot of controversies. This is the well played game. It was good and I felt like they were adjustments. Made like I thought it was going to be really raw long night like fourteen nothing early. Lots of pressure on that than the outside. I dont there and it just. It didn't seem like it was going to end. And then you know then the offensive line like tighten things up. It was Nice Dax passing all over them. Just couldn't stop the run on May Minnesota at one hundred thirty five yards rushing to recorders and it. You know it didn't end. There just could not stop them and you know I. I don't know what the blame Jason Garrett I don't know who's calling the plays anymore but I knew second into down where we were. He held onto his time outs. I'll give them that. That was nice but I think I said to my son has to be designed. RUN HERE FOR DAX. That's what they're not looking for. That's what they haven't seen all game. I don't think they play. I don't think they practice a fourth into you out. Pattern to Zeke. I really don't now. was there go through there on fourth down. Not ultimately killed him for that. Last drive Dak was on fire the whole all day and then they basically took it out of his hands with some runs and I did not agree with that decision. But go Franco cobb over one hundred yards. Now Hooper over one hundred yards. It was nice as night to watch and then it got down close and they got very conservative in a big big mess. Well I owe somebody an apology. 'cause house tonight took the cowboys minus three and million dollar picks on Thursday and the big reason was it was kirk cousins on a Sunday night that he was gonna do something dumb and give Dallas game never did never did and I don't think Mckee he had a good game. It's GonNa look better than it was. He had like two one yard. Touchdown passes the right before the half eleven seconds left at at a time out or something he threw threw it to the five yard line to get a closer field goal. I don't know what he did so he mismanaged a few things. But like I said it didn't matter he was running running running running it up on this team. Where here's the thing? was that no interceptions. No fumbles only took one sack. Yeah that's a great game for Kirk. It's the best game of his life but I thought I think both teams are playoff teams. I don't know if both teams are going to make the playoffs. uh-huh we're at a weird situation the NFC or we have the niners who were point. SEATTLE tomorrow night. Eight now. Packers are now eighty two which is really confusing using if you watch them especially if you watch the Carolina game today they do not feel like it'd be into theme Saint Seven and two common off probably the most embarrassing loss anybody had this year seahawks seventy-two and Minnesota seven and three and then it drops see. Have that as your top five to win. Drop off to Dallas the rams and the Eagles and Carolina all five and four. And that's one spot those those guys are fighting for well but the thing is Dallas isn't philly one of those who have to make the playoffs right right so if you look at everybody else there are actually three Two wins and in Chicago's cases. Three wins behind the second wildcard team. See it's bizarre. I mean the rams are five and four. The chiefs are six and four not to the jump to the AFC. But you would never you never think that right that right. These teams have all eight losses between them. And I don't know what to think with the Rams and you know what my therapist said. Stop blaming quarterback so much not looking at the offensive line. So I've done on that. I think it's it's it may be is going to add years to my life. Because I'm constantly blaming a quarterbacks in trubisky and golf and they have their terrible moments but that offensive line was gotten getting thrown around today for the rams and they can never seem to run the ball anyway but think we give we. Don't give the steelers enough credit defensively. It was a game I feel like they should not have one and I think that golf call completely changed the game. I actually don't think either either team should have won. It probably should have just ended up within a tie. Weren't there a lot of. I mean it lends to what you were saying with low. The quality of play was law. I didn't think anyone should have won the bills browns game. That was You know Arizona's Tampa Bay kind of felt the same way On jets giants. You could throw that in any week. Neither though seems deserve to win but yeah I felt that I felt the same. I'm way about those guys yet. The bugs cards game and the titans chiefs game. We're actually pretty fun. But for the most part it was pretty bad football and I I can't tell if it's just kind of that midseason Malays where everybody now has enough tape to scout everybody else or whether so many different teams have have injuries like you saw the chiefs game. They ran that graphic with their offensive line. What was that in the second half and it was like four guys were out l.? Right right and it was like. Oh my God. The team's only keep like eight offensive. Lineman Max Risky I WANNA boomers Schwartz. who had like Thousands of snap consecutive streep broken. So that really whenever have a guy like bad out it really throws it off. Because you don't know how to move guys in and out you know. There are a lot of lot of mediocre teams and Yeah I'm mediocre occur teams and kicking You look up at any screen. You like this kicks in a mess. This is four hundred yards on the road. This guy is not yet this extra point as a fifty five percent chance of going through it. Just why is it kicking getting so much worse right now with the bills. The browns scored the first touchdown of the browns bills game. And of course get a tawny penalty and the touchdown right the bills. Look at it and go. Normally the team takes it on the kickoff In the bills are like no. We're GONNA take it now go. We don't think this guy that can make a forty eight yard. Pat They were he missed it and it was sixth out the instead of seven others so stupid there was a big point so many stupid things frigging point if you have plus lost three all over the place and and the buffalo bills but but look at this thou AFC. PATS eight one raven seven and two. Yeah texted six and three three bills still somehow six and three even though if you watch them you they don't stand out more than fifteen in these crap teams right. Chiefs are a stunning six. Four for And then steelers raiders colts all five and four and the titans are five and five. This was the first day I really started to wonder if the steelers steelers could actually make the playoffs. Yeah just like just by almost by accident. Jacoby thing. I think you know I. There's no way they lose to Miami. If he's playing that Guy Brian who was so bad. And if if the if the mistake probably was trusting Brian Hoyer they not just not just running the ball on controlling the clock or just trying to keep it low scoring game but But the steelers. This is the first time like nine and seven is probably going to get into the playoffs and they can probably get tonight at seven with their defense right well. They might be the full of crap team that we'd Never WanNa believe in and we we wait too long to believe in them and lose a bundle of money doing doing so You know six days. They beat the dolphins on Monday night. Game they will losing. They ended up winning by ten points but lucky to win that one thing if you watch that then they they play the colts and like you said Brusett goes getting this right. That was it right. Yeah resent that was in six days and then today they wanna loss but then then you look at it like this Minkah Fitzpatrick trich thing. This might have been a really good deal like the first two games. The defense will allow six touchdown passes and had no interceptions. Yeah and weeks. Three through ten nine nine touchdown passes and seven weeks and thirteen interceptions in that guy is all over the place returning touchdowns and pinballs off. He's spectacular it. Takes out your the best receiver. A it was a great trade for them. I still do not agree with not lottery protecting the pick. Yeah I still. I think that's indefensible. But I think you're gonNA matter though right. I mean they're gonNA matter now but I mean think of the the they were down fourteen. Nothing to Miami. If percent doesn't get hurt last last week they probably don't win that game and then this game I have no idea how they won and it really did flip. Their offense scored ten points today. I think the team you have to watch out for all right. I know I know it's tough to watch them with the ball and Rudolf is going to be Rudolph. But and McVeigh. Everyone's like oh how did he lose to route off to you. Know it's like I don't know I think it was the defense stepped up the raiders of that team. I think let's say the bills. Get the five. The raiders are scary at five and four next to Game Cincinnati and at the jets. Yeah they're seven seven and four I don I. I think they could score on the chiefs right couple of game left there. The chargers still I think well improbably there have came out of the out of the AFC west.

"Star wars story entertainment weekly is running a cover story this week and of course tons of details are revealed jakup what have we learned yeah there were a few stories are released today or uncover part two of them right now both of them involve a plot details in some character details bowl for new and old faces was the start with the a cover story uh on our robot incite what's interesting is that we learn that the main focus of soulless our store or at least maybe the first main job making people in the trouble is a train robbery a but the train we see in in the trailer which is the sort of rollercoaster fast exciting looking vehicle it's called the convey x and something on the on the convicts is gonna be stolen by a cruella by tobias beckett who is what he harrelson's character and his team includes vow attending newton and there may be working for dryden boss a paul bet me and at this point in the story or leeson's dr was time line up consulate them or idealistic he's been dreamer and that he gets pulled on this team uh after they see something in him and as of now like who plays han solo says i think figuring out who's good and who's bad exactly what han trying to do throughout this film so it's very much a traditional uh crime movie set up the crew gets together to do a job and resume me the job by the goes really well at the end orcas really poorly midway who the movie in a deal to follow up some curious to see what structure the movie follows also kathleen kennedy and other people involved in production throw around all kinds of words scribe in this movie there is a westerners nawar there's heist gunslinger tight movie so it feels like there's a lot of a lot of things going han hit solo hanzo story sorry solo as star wars story.
