"Acceptance and grace. You're only getting that from your didi because of bloodshed. that's it. If blood was not shed he would not be able to forgive you. He would not find you worthy such as i. I am not worthy because i do not accept this bloodshed. I do not accept jesus blood and don't pour it on me. I don't wash myself in the blood of the lamb. Know such a weird song bathe in the blood of the lambert. Wow slowdown oto going on here. You need this bloodshed in order for you to have this worth to have this forgiveness. That's what i see out of it. S disgusting. And i can do that. I can get all of that for you without any bloodshed. None of it not a drop. You don't even have to prick your finger. Nothing that's what. I'm that's what makes me better more moral more competent than your deity at that point you as well. You're the same way. I one hundred percent guarantee you. You do not require anybody to bleed to forgive them. You don't need personally. I do not require. Although i will say that i probably could use a little bit a little bit more refinement in the area of grace and forgiveness right. We all could. I'm sure but we're not gonna require bloodshed in order to perfect that grace of forgiveness and that's what sets us apart from your deity or not jealous punishing children for the sins of their father or not requiring bloodshed for forgiveness. None of that man we. We're we're moral. Were empathetic were fathers. We do the best we can without any of that. And i i think that makes us better than your god. And that's where i'm at and that's where we're close it out. I'm gonna let you get the last word and then tell us where we can find all your stuff. No great points brother. I'll would like say that. I think the only thing separates you. And i is face face. That's it We're we're we can still be prince napoli We could still live in this world together. We can still work to make this world a better. A better place I at the end of the day. The only difference is our faith And the fact that one of bus routes our our faith in our values stricture and one of us doesn't i you. I would argue that. You don't get your faith or your faith but the values. I would argue you. Don't get your values from the bible. Because like i said we're not recording bloodshed for forgiveness. We're not killing of jealousy. We're not stoning people to death for for ridiculous things. We don't think slavery is a good idea. We can both agree on the slate everything but throughout the bible we find these things. Sorry go ahead. I interrupted you. Get good points on. We do not do that. But that's because the bible tells us we should not do that or do we have to do that Well that's a whole other topic of discussion y as far as where people could find me. Brother north man podcasts. "Yeah ankle wing and and being a part of unity bill to but but even from there. I would say that that i wasn't a really know what faith was would mantelet out my faith Biblically scripturally. it took me many years man. I mean i went through Many relationships was married pretenders at three sons first wife totally wreck that just because i was living very aimlessly and i understand that not everyone You don't have to have got to live purposeful life right. Good thank you. Yeah yeah and so. Let's get a look different for everyone for me personally I will say that once. I started reading scripture. Wants us for me. Was about the forgiveness. Because i was already condemning myself For everything i had ever done. I was i had already Relegated myself to a human being the quite frankly was just not capable was not worthy Because of the wrongs that dumb. Because of the people that i had heard. And when i started reading in scripture about forgiveness and grace and the that i am worthy a worthy human beings will that that changed my perspective and started. Help me shift. Mind my mind set. My heart says and so i'm just i'm just kind of giving you a high level here like why how i feel. Faith is played a role me personally. Feel that that's just where. I really started to find value in paul being an paul p.m is because i found Found that assurance in scripture more so than new testament. I will say the old. The old testament is a testament is is a piece to wrap your mind around but when you start getting to the new testament which is a believed that both the old testament and the new testament pointed did jesus christ jesus christ points to grace and love in my mind. Some people may say that they believe that. Jesus represents more More of a negative aspect of life for me He's represents grace and love acceptance and that's where i found might my hope and so i will say that for me. That is kind of y. My faith has kinda bald in the round of christianity. Economy taking biblical principles. Because i believe that the principles of faith hope love grace gratitude They have helped shape and form. Who i am as a man. Today they have helped me overcome some of the most dramatic up been through him alive. And so so maybe that that hopefully. That's an explanation of why field that i kinda to to my faith in god and he's in scripture..

"Our gut who we are individual. How a function in his life. And i think oftentimes that can be god speaking to and we as humans tend to convolute it more than necessary. Well how do you distinguish between the holy spirit your gut and jiminy cricket. How do you distinguish between those things. Our own thoughts your own circumstances and the things you've seen and done your own morality that you've gotten through life through Living in a civilized world. How do you distinguish those things. Bef- between galway who who tells us throughout the bible that he's a jealous god who punish his kids. We don't do that. I don't punish get out of jealousy. Y'all always says he does several you know. How do we distinguish. It's not our own our own conscience our own. Jiminy cricket as opposed on gut as you call as opposed to. This child killing is documented. Child killer you know. What i mean is invisible. Documents journal at sought says richer scripture talks about a meditating on what is good and righteous pure and holy and i think a lot of that comes from Clinging to to to the to the wholesome part of who were supposed to be right and so the more we we know about scripture. Which i understand where you're coming from. There are many things in scripture that that are distasteful right But i also know that that my will say that there are some distasteful things about me will as good as a man is. i feel like i am There are things that they're like. Yeah mmg do better in this area. Absolutely one hundred percent thing same here on numbers in not the best in the world. But you know i try. I try and that's the difference. Is i'm still trying and i don't tell my children that i'm gonna punish them out of jealousy. There's a big difference there. Y'all y'all we does things to children. Because he's jealous and unable to control his anger towards them so children being You're talking about like from a christian perspective. If were his children he punches us. Exit one well actually a lot of times in the old testament jose and nine he starves children because their parents worship the wrong deity. And i've heard the excuse while they were killing their kids. Some of them to another god. Holy cow so what happened. Y'all way comes in and kills all their kids being. Where's the right. It's not even right man. There's no good in that. I don't understand how that's good. He starves them. He drowns them in the in the flood when he doesn't like what people are doing. Where the kids. The infants making him mad to apparently even all the puppies and kittens screw it. Drown them all start over clean slate. I'm done with this mess. I mean he created that mass that was his. It's there's so many things in there that tell me he's not a loving father and i wouldn't be doing these things. So that gives me a moral high ground over. Y'all way because i would not punish kids to that extreme to understand i mean there's so many things in there i mean blasphemy the holy spirit. You can say bad things about jesus all you want but the second you say anything bad about you always ghost. You're doomed for hell forever. That's it you're screwed that there's so much wrong with it man. There's so much. I just don't understand how.

"There who are doing good things but just because they don't say jesus as my savior with they're gonna go to hell i. That's that's tough. I'll will freely admit that maybe some of my kristen counterparts kristen compadres will be angry with me because of that. But i don't care you know. I want to be true. I want to be real be authentic and raw and that's my raw emotions in god is a real god and god is an all powerful. God he's gonna understand that he's going to be okay with me asking that question and saying i don't understand this. Why why can you tell me what. Because he can handle it can add. Some questions can answer those kind of questions. Good questions i think in time maybe sometimes he can. I think he can't do believe there are questions. Have answers in this life as he answered may be one of them with. I'm sorry go ahead. Has he answered any of your tough questions. That you've come up with a in regards to who i am as a man how supposed to operate in this world. I believe he has certainly guided me on the right. Pass a believed that. Even if i have not heard his voice audibly indirectly he had he has placed certain people in my life both believers and non-believers who have led me to clean to certain values that are wholesome and there. There are meant to edify uplift those in my life. Now i do. I do believe he. He uses different methods For speaking to us it may not always be audible. I don't. I cannot say that. I've ever audibly heard god's voice unless he's used your voice or someone else's voice to to ask questions like you're asking or to give advice like others have given me Tell make me a better human being. Why do you think that is. Why do you think he doesn't uses own voice or show up.

"Kind of the landscape. And i know that paul beam is imperfect and i know that paul beam is insecure in this area and this area. He's weak in this area. This area so i can use those weaknesses And term those in to too good right and so a lot of jesus At that point though you figure these out you know. I can do the same thing you know. I'm definitely not a weakness all over the place. Doubts all over the place you know. We're not for people and that's what we strive to do. We see our downs. We see we see our imperfections and we work on them toward worked towards getting them. Better bettering ourselves every day. I don't need an invisible man died for no reason and came back now lives in heaven and didn't really sacrifice everything. I don't need that. I don't need some god. Who's who says to kill gay people or witches or or needs bloodshed. I don't i separate myself from that. And i take part were. Let's better myself without invisible people. I don't need that. You know what i mean accents. Yeah yeah.

"This is my son and this is me will be reunited ought to be looked upon as savior of the world is a is a legacy that no one else can claim So is that a gift or is that a curse. I don't know. I guess it just depends on the way you look at. It was his was his death. The ultimate death was his debt. Ethel ultimate resurrection in the ultimate life being reunited with his father. And the keying in you know raining with god. He's an eternal being. Jesus is an eternal being. He was created to be this eternal being delivered with galway so he was gonna live forever. He gave up three days two days three days. Most if we're going with that That's it. I mean really. Not much of a sacrifice your entire. Your tire life was for this reason. I i wouldn't create something just to kill it to have it back. Come back to me and then say oh. I saved the world through this pointless. This pointless thing that's pointless sacrifice. He didn't need legit. Why didn't he just go. You know all these. The blood's not working. I'm not gonna make something with perfect blood that will be able to accept. I'm just not going to take blood anymore. I don't think blood is excellent reason or a good good way to go about things now. He takes a step further. He creates take some of himself. Take some a man makes this being these like okay. Now that's perfect now kill it now. I'm satisfied now. i'm good you don't have to go to hell while some of you don't have to go to hell but now i'm good. I mean that's such a ridiculous story it doesn't it just blows my mind how. This is the good guy in the story. The good guy doesn't do that. The good guy doesn't require bloodshed for forgiveness. The good guy just forgives the good guy stops the guy who's trying to get bloodshed. You know what i mean. Yeah yeah no. That's a great point. Rather than i will give you that such a such a profound way to look at it right Took to look at it from that angle front from a different angle than what the majority of people are. Probably looking at it annexed out. Think there's anything wrong with asking that question as there's something wrong with me not being able to answer that question. Nope maybe nothing wrong with that. You say you're good again. I love the. I don't know if you don't know something that's great. We can figure it out later. Sit on it you know. Let it roast a little bit. You're good. I mean i don't expect you to have all the answers. One hundred percent. This stuff is difficult man. I've been there. I was in the church. I grew up in the church. I grew up believing all of this stuff. And then one day i picked up the bible and just gave us some critical thinking and in may holy cow. Dude you read that thing from front to cover and you write down your issues and questions that you have in your right one hundred percent. There are more questions than there are.

"Jesus coming back With his army and eradicating able a. I don't know that. I necessarily see that as a bad thing. Now as a non believer in the bible. I am seen as evil eye deserving of hellfire. I deserve turtle torment. Because god doesn't come down and showed himself to be. Yeah i see what you're saying. And i'm going to be one of those people that jesus finds evil and he's going to toss me into the hellfire for for eternity. I'm not going willingly man. I'm going kicking screaming. Jesus comes up no way man. I don't wanna spend heaven. I don't wanna spend eternity in heaven with this guy either. Honestly he's he's documented child killer who needs blood shed for forgiveness. Which we'll get into i. I don't see that as an awesome time. I really don't know. That's that's a very valid point. Because i can sit here on. This call right now could say michael. Like we're friends dea alike you did he know But i'm sorry at the end of the day you're going to hell when jesus comes back And that's not for me to say all right. So that's where i guess we do. We have a little glitch right. That's like a slight me. You know. I'm saying my mind will step. I'm going to heaven. Michael's go into hell. That's one of those areas for me to that. I'm like i don't know what to think about that night Abbott thought about that. I haven't thought of in that way. Look you as a as a human being. It's worthy of the same things i'm worthy of. And so at the end of the day fly man. Jesus why lord dot y'all way whatever you wanna call you why do but i don't have an answer there nor nor can i like sit here and try to like feel okay about trying to convince you that you should be away that you don't feel you should be that you should believe.

"Going to make me go do a little more research It's gonna make me think on a broader level but also at the end of the day it doesn't change how my life has been impacted simply bought by the time that i rooted mike my value system in scripture. And at the same time like you you can operate with your values and that may serve your life very well It may serve you in. It may serve your family very well. And that's for me to judge. You know and i have no idea where i'm going with that this slide against it's apparent that all of humanity looks at live from little differently But at the end of the day were all left with questions that are going to go unanswered answer and maybe one day. We'll have the answer to those questions. Maybe science and technology will answer questions. Maybe our will be when questions are answered or maybe not you know. We're all going to have questions. That probably go unanswered until her death when upon death. You know we're gonna have that answer. We're not and our faith. The bible with the bible says probably not be a dividing point especially for me as a christian. If i'm allowing perfect 'cause division between myself in you more than i'm operating out of line with valley Because i should be able to to look at your perspective it in respect where you're coming from and not make you feel like you're less than because of your perspect- appreciate that. I want get into the parts. You pick out now i. I'm sure the parts you pick out are not things that are rattling around in my head. You're going to pick out the love. Your neighbor the the happy jesus stuff you know the stuff were jesus teaches you values to love yourself. Love your neighbour be kind. Feed the poor stuff like that. I'm sure those are the values. You're picking up right. Sure sure so. The parts are not picking out the part. You're leaving behind. Is the slavery part the stone which is part the stone gay people the stone disobedient children part that the jealous god who punishes children for the sins of their fathers. All of these things. You're going to not have part of your your your daily life that i don't know you don't think gay people should be to death right and disobedient children which is right where we're on the same page with that there are some. I've talked to some that. Just right off..

"I wanted to get from point eight point. Being the quickest way possible hence ask cars. Did i have dreams and aspirations while. Yeah i had dreams and aspirations. I wanted to be a movie star are had. There is a time where. I wanted to be a stuntman in. I even took that to the point. Where i took to teaching the local kids on my block martial arts for free so like get them to do stunt scenes with me but who i am today looks at what could turn that into back then and and and i think to myself damn. I left so much on the table. I didn't push them or myself to be more to do more to have more. Because i had not evolved to that point yet so this is where you hear me often asking. Have you reviewed what you want and who you need to be. Gum get it because if you aren't reviewing frequently ours are you're not evolving towards it. Hell quite probably you're getting further and further and further with the away from it each passing day. Look you're going to evolve. You're gonna refined who. You are either actively or passively. It is just gonna happen. The question is. Are you going to be active in that evolution towards empowering your dreams or you gonna let others do it for you in to empower their dreams in thought number four establish trust paul is tackling a very specific audience in this case men in he knows that an order for them to come to his events and really get the most out of it. They're going to have to open up and communicate'' not exactly something that men are really know for now. Can this serve men in some ways. We yeah this. Being held closed and beard macho can her serve them. You know but. I think in the long run. If you do not open up and communicate'' then you lose more than you win. Let's not get it twisted here. Right is be straight. I'm not talking about talking crap over few drinks at the bar while you know obsessing during while the bull gate the ball game is on. I'm talking about sitting down with someone you trust in. Let it out. Whatever it might be it might be your heart. Break your dreams your plans your desires your frustrations that ear most shit. That boils inside of you that you keep putting a lid on if you keep compressing it you run the risk of it. Exploding in quite probably negatively impacting your life or one could say even worse it. Let's say it never explodes instead. It just keeps seeping out as it seeps out. It keeps picking away day by day chip by chip inch by inch. Pushing you off track off course off the path to your dream but the key here is that word trust. Paul starts off even before their meetings begin. That weaken event begins through different methods building. That trust so that when those participants arrive the get in there and they get involved and get the most out of the event. What can you do to build trust with your audience long before you ask them for that. I e mail or that. I phone number or even that first dollar. How can you let them know that you are truly here to serve them your audience and bring them as much value as you possibly can to your tribe who man. It's been an honor to be with you on your show A really appreciate you taking time out of your day to interview and to be part of your audience we have going on the Darkhorse podcast absolutely. It's been my pleasure. Thanks so much for coming on. Paul appreciate you. Yes sir extracting who there you go. Hey you have it my man. Paul beamed dropping some men packed fulfilment knowledge. Honest says bomb after bomb. Here's some of the thoughts. I came away with thought number one lack of integrity and identity and ozer issues. Paul mentioned that his life. He didn't know who he was. You know our how to be a manner how to treat a spouse or how to run his life as finances and dick cetera et cetera as a result of this lack of integrity and identity. He made choices that were not the best for himself or at the time is family. Do you know who you are. I mean do you really know who you are or you just or hey or do you know who you wanna be when you grow up. I don't care if you're fifteen or fifty when it comes to this question because here's the deal my friend if you do not know who you are at the core. You're going to continue to make choices that will in the long run really not lead you. To happiness not lead you to fulfillment and not lead you to things that empower you to be all you can be as my military experience coming actor. Here's the thing. Yeah sure you can blame things on your past. You can blame your mom for not levin you now you can blame your dad for not spanking or four spanking you right of for not being there when you needed him or for that significant other that treated you like shit for all that time for the kids that never call or they're listened to you are they. Don't clean the room or whatever bed that whatever excuses or blame inflamed reason you have to. You could go on laying with that. Dog was in that bed of dog blame right. Yeah you could but you know what happens when you lay with dogs right. Yeah that's right. You can wake up with fleas. Right and remember that devastation. Paul mentioned he left in his previous wake. Yeah you're just going to be a little of that happening with at the same time so gives us thing. Look i. i'm not preaching from this holier than thou point of view. Here hell no right. I've done my fair share of stupid things. Dirty dis scandalous deals and taking actions. That today i would never ever make but my friends best. Because i finally sat down and worked through who. I am what i stand for. What the hell. I won't stand for what i want out of life and what i know i'm going to have to give in order to earn it. You hear that earn it have you. Yeah not. I'm willing to bet you have at some level but have you reviewed that recently. You heard me. I said recently. If not i'm really going to urge you to do so right. It works wonders on keeping you on track towards who you are towards what you want to urge what you know you're gonna have to give in order to earn it thought number. Two paul found a gap in gathered his tribe into an event. Uc after after paul finished his education he pulled his core audience together into an event he pulled together turn learn from them but he also felt that he had value to offer given to things he had been through. Paul knew that he had valued that he could bring to the table of those like him. Perhaps they weren't as far along in their journey. He could you know help them. Springboard forward right perhaps they were alongside him in their journey and they could benefit from a reminder or a different perspective as could he right he could learn from their stories as well and and obviously perhaps they were further along in he could learn from them not to make some future path choices that he was yet aware of a think about this for a moment. Paul was putting himself out there saying. Hey let's all come together and share experiences and learn from another or learn from one another and yet they were looking to him as the quote unquote leader. Given the fact he was hosting event but being vulnerable in sharing his experiences his flaws as foibles and his journey to where he is now could help those wanting to be where he is and help them get there. Faster right and at the end of the day. isn't that what we want to do with our prospects our customers and our clients Yeah you wanna serve them and the best way you can you get them that any result in the most effective and efficient means possible but to do that you have to come from a place of service. Not just prophet. Yeah i get it right you you got you got a roof over. You had yet to pay for you at par car payments and water bills in a spouse and kids. Whatever right i'm not saying that's not a priority but what i'm saying is when you come to serve to truly give of yourself to those willing to step into your sphere of influence and pay for that service. You damn well have to give it all right. You have to leave it all on the mat as my daughter and her cheerleading. Tim team teammates would have said back in the day. You don't If you don't right and you lose you're going regret it. You're gonna greg greg not giving that hundred and ten percent if you do it on a mat and they bail on you and they being the customers and the prospects right well then you know that they weren't a right fit for you and you weren't right for them right but when you do and you win right which in a lot of the time you are gonna win. You're gonna feel that reward that motivation and that genuine drive to push forward to get more to give more to give. My friend will result in you getting more. That's just how the world the universe and business works thought number. Three we are creatures that evolve be eight in your wisdom your beliefs your knowledge your faith or any of the other areas of your life we grow and we evolve in like how policy we refined who we are versus who we are yesterday or yesteryear or yester- decade. "Group of guys than you would your your boys back home just because i was back home. The rowdy is it takes it takes structure. It takes effort intention. -ality to form the kinda relationships help these deaths form of course of one and then the other thing is i would just say that breakthrough component. We've had guys we've got testimony one of our videos a guy i said. I'm taking more away from this event than i received in two years of council. Wow that's huge. that's huge. Yeah so these guys truly are walking the walk through the gate there authentified their integrity gaps. They're they're being real consoles with everyone around him in there walking away with a new identity and a plan on how they're in a truly out that it'd be the man that they're meant to be and make the impact that they're they're supposed to make the world swayed in. How could you not get so filled giving that two men or or anybody for that matter. Absolute so i i i have to ask. Just be an i. frankly don't give a darn. I think it's kinda cool that you have a man camp. Why just men is. Because i know the kind of man. I grew up with and i learned how awesome he was. Well as his foibles. Of course like you. I didn't learn a lot of those foibles until late into my twenties early into my third. His i okay. Well that's not working anymore. We're not the sixties You can't be like that and still be able to move forward in in life effectively. So why men okay. this is. this is a fairly easy for may Number one on a feel compelled to help men One avoid the mistakes that i made as a young or number to help them out of those trenches if they are in them Because i believe that when a man truly latch onto their identity in their purpose and they start walking in those with intention. Howdy and when it's not just about them that is where the world really gets. Experience driver impact. That is where if we can change a man's life if we can call him to life and call him to lead a selfless manner. The world is gonna fill that yeah and not in a bad way but in a good way but this other this other thing one of my weaknesses in the past has been women. So i mean i was not faithful to my first wife. I had many affairs. And i've always had the steamed for women and so while i can connect with women and relate to them to me that is not where mitt to be no simply because they have been one of my weaknesses. Fatchett on right and so. It's not that. I'm trying to completely avoid them right. But how can i as a believe that i speak a man's language better person so the other thing say because i was raised by my mother until i was nine a believe. That's probably why relate to women sir bill in that nope but the other thing is that's also why you know for the longest. I was so uncomfortable around men just because always try each select trauma miserable if you don't wanna look a man in in his eyes because you're you just feel insecure right and that's me right in. So what a better way to challenge myself to force myself to be on the stage in front of men forced myself to be looking men in the is really speaking live into them and calling them out calling them up. You know so. I think there's a couple of different. Now there's a couple of different variables to that but ultimately this is what i say is the man. If they're called up in out a given life they have the potential to make a huge impact in their their spouses. Life in their children's lives and life in the world. You know it's it's compound. Only i truly feel that. That's that's where my call my call is plus i have my wife here You know we've been married now for going on seven years my second marriage and Lead at some point. She'll probably be speaking to women you know so we can tack that together right up on because he's got a great story as well as very why soupy tells it to like probably on the iq skill. I would say she's definitely a right up there around genius level. I hear men's now. What's that. I hear men's a-coming society you. You definitely did better than me. It took me three tries to find the right woman that That works well with me. And i have an amazing woman. And she completely me five celia on that one. And i get it. You know the man theaters certain. I totally believe that A lot of men. Don't get good lessons right because of some of the facades that let's call it society. I'll say society puts them there. You have to be like this. You can't cry yet. You know all these different things that are just bs and You know a. I remember my dad. Who is my father are say. Menu is a twenty three year lifer in the united states army. So there that kind of tells you you can encapsulate him because he was the cliche sergeant in the military but he was six foot three and looked like he should have been a linebacker for football on. Nfl right just just a big jolly man and so when you see that in very friendly was a great networker but showing any kind of weakness in emotion and cry get about it not gonna happen right although he felt emotion and i go saw some of that and i'm not talking about anger right It wasn't until his mother passed away by him. Cry and i was probably a in my early twenties when that happened and i saw my dad fallout in ball. Like a baby into you know it was. It was really weird for me. You're in a as as when i was. When i was older reflecting and thinking back of that moment of how uncomfortable i felt being around him as he did that. That was wrong. I should have been there been comforting. You know hey dad you know and just let him be him. It's so those are some of the lessons. I learned later on. But i think having that environment where we can you can crack through some those things out guys just be themselves in and support one another in all. The ways that are needed is awesome. Thank you all right. So i i want to be mindful of your time. We've been hanging out here. This is this has been awesome. I wanted if anyone wants to. Learn more about paul beaming man camp or anything. Where should we send them to. Yeah yeah uh-huh so we have. A website is true hyphen north hyphen ministries com. That will be changing soon. "Family first so honored the the commitment that i made but when i got out of the service it it just wasn't working so we are separate ways shortly later right. Same mentality is going on. Oh it's time to get married again. I you know against a young lady india. The motherly way. I do the right thing we get married. Raise the kids and we just started going further and further apart as our lives progress. You know you get married in early mid twenties but a time. Your your kids are about the exit out of high school. Unless you're traveling the same path to gather intentionally. You're gonna just the get the chasm is gonna grow in you know. Hey it got really big and it got really bad there towards the end and that was one of my opinions. Oh my god. I have to stand up and say look. This ain't working any work view at any working for me right so that was now. I'm looking at the has his amazing women. So it's it's these journeys we go on through all the phases of relationships in business that make sense. Yes absolutely yeah. Absolutely so i wanna i wanna i wanna route around in your so. You created this True north and then you've got the man camp. Are they now like the same thing. They're encompassing together. The north organization is the five. Oh one c. got it. The actual organization in the madcap is one of our events that we host our that way. Now you mentioned in the in the in the camp it's based on some pillars. You went to a walk us through those sure. i can't. i mean as far as the foundational components you know we we offer community aspect we offer Of course music and then we we have food. We have competitive events and then we have messages swift speakers who speak on certain topics and then these guys break up into teams. They do a deep dive on these topics. Thrash questions the series of questions kind of open up from there. You know those be in the five original pillars. We now have so many other things like the guys are on their on teams and ask small group breakouts that they really do great work in an open. An up and Nowadays you see so many men. Philip they just cannot be benthic or vulnerable cannot express themselves macho metality which you know sometimes that is beneficial for us than other times is very it's a hindrance and so we truly believe that we can establish trust moment. The man walked through the gate. At our event. These men will be willing to open up. You know there's different tactics. We users to protect as through different strategies that we go through even before the men walked with the game two weeks before there. Are you know or making contact these men off. So that that's another thing in just Petition out there knowing that men are coming to The coming to an event where they're gonna learn whether going to grow but we also mix in the fun aspect of it right that way. It's not just like all this heavy weekend. Sure we make it makes that fun. The fun component. The competitive component were or guys get out there and beat their chests a little bit laugh and have a good time. Sure that's cool. I like that a man cab. So let's talk about when a go here for a minute. i'm really Literally hooked. i'm envisioning as a man camp. And of course i've got a military background to did any of your military experience kind of make its way into your man camp out. Say say there's definitely militaristic vibe not that we intentionally did that But i guess it's just who surround yourself with some time like a lot of the guys on my team veterans okay. I'll get a few special forces guys on the team as well as others that military by for sure. Because that's that's who we were who we still are when you're in the military they kind of instill these core disciplines in mindset in fact this is a. This is one of shirts as it says. This is war with a brain grenade. I see that that's cool. And so that was one of our themes of the one of our events was was this war so we had a three part series on this war. The first one was a heart grenade. the second was a brain. Grenade is so the first one we're we're talking about the battles we fight in her heart. The second was the battles we fight in our mind in the third one was the battles that they're going back towards yeah after And so yeah definitely. Military vibe with will always try to keep things succinct on track. Although with events unforeseen things arises sometimes you have to pivot on on-command interest. Make less what you have overcome as so we definitely try to bring a certain certain certain degree of that. Swayed the a as you can tell him. Pro kind of really hooked on this this man camp. Khan yup come join us. I i definitely will have to check it out is it. I'm going to give it an either or but You can answer you to. Is it kind of break. It down and rebuild or breakthrough would say it's more of a breakthrough breakdown of rebuild grew. Might take a longer than a weekend. Shirt yeah yeah. There's a degree that i guess but it would be more self guide in respect right. I mean yes i would say. It's more breakthrough breakdown on the on the other side guys. That are coming out of this. I mean what. What's the most often words of praise you get out of this. You you hear from them. Obviously it's gotta be a phenomenal the fulfiling to hear their their their praise. But i'm interested what you hear most often from these men as they go in there. And and have these breakthroughs sure. Yeah i think a couple of things stand out. Number one is The community like these guys. They spend the weekend with a team of men. So they're together all weekend they're having discussions all weekend they're competing together and building camaraderie all weekend so they walk away with new friends that really they would not have expected because we have a certain process we use for placing these men on teams Excite up together. We just put them on a team when they walked through the gate. They don't know where they're going to do when they walk through the gay but when they register they don't know who's than we formulate those teams reform those teams before they walk case they do know but when they're registering they have no idea a by the end of the weekend because of everything that we take these men through because of all the content we use in because of the structure that we put in place. These men walk away with with a new group of friends. Did they know that they can share. Both wins and losses with without judge. And then they know they're you know there's gonna be times when they'll be encouraged by this group be times when challenged about it right. Now if they try love slip into their old habits patterns or if they're trying to be the victim the they may be called out very well by the team sure so they walk away with with with new friends. That is a little bit different than you may find in the workplace. Maybe you met. You're going to.

"Whatever it was you were doing and i think that's a big pivot moment for a lot of folks. I've been lucky enough to talk to where in myself included where you take a look back you can almost say you look back into the abyss of some of the poor choices you made and you try to figure out a maybe what motivated them was just selfishness who knows and then what you can learn what lessons can you glean so that you can go forward you can start being demanded you were telling yourself is that about right. Yeah yeah absolutely. I believe the in order for us to come a better Absolutely without a doubt requires not just certain degree of reflection an internal reflection reflection a great degree of looking within. Answer some really hard really serious questions yet. You gotta get in there and route around where it's uncomfortable where it hurts where it makes you cry. Were pisses you write off. You're like god damn why you know and it doesn't happen all at once. I know it didn't for me right. I had a number of breakthroughs. I mean how was your breakthrough. Experience was all heiko jones skies opened up or was the kind of like an evolution over weeks months or whatever sure yeah a believe there are certain things that i had immediate breakers on but the entire process has has been a process. It has you know. I like to tell man we. We didn't matter what you believe in your fate is we are creatures that evolve over that is our beliefs that wisdom that knowledge that his faith we evolve is human beings and that being you can also equate it to you know maybe a better term for some refined to be refined learn we grow. We look back. We learn from whether it's wins or losses and then we look for. We say how we're gonna change that. Or how am i going to do better than we continue to be refined and then there. There's something else you know Of course my faith background i. I am a christian and So i would say that. At a young age i was introduced. Christianity was introduced to the the concepts of jesus christ and christ me and my savior and a believe that as a teen encounter that really captured. My attention and i believe. Because i didn't have anyone to continue to to mentor me to help develop that that account just lost that ryan on a loss of who know how to really fully mature into that and so that didn't happen until what twin twelve already thirties. And that's when. I really started thinking. What does this look like if i surrender and i just because my stuff ain't working on right the way on living life it at work in the things. I'm doing a work. The pursuits that i'm taking on there are not working. They're just leaving me empty. Their leave me void. Leave me tired of leaving. That trill devastation. that i have mentioned And so. I knew that something had to change. And like i felt like i had been running from my purpose for a long time and then when i finally surrendered to that as when things started to shift and i started to fill a void. Being like filled up started a field as fulfillment gunning. Yeah yeah now. I will say this to A lot of people. And i'm not sure about yourself or your listeners But from christian standpoint a lot of people look at christians. They say all what you believe what you believe because it's easy that's your crutch that makes you feel better about death dying and your future. This is what i'll say is the minute that i surrendered in submitted in the minute that i said i was going to be a different man and i started taking on a new identity. Follower of christ Is the minute my life. Got difficult is the minute i started fighting real battles but it's also when i started being more fulfilled in so one thing i'd like to tell guys to is. Don't think that those two cannot coexist thank you cannot face adversity any fulfillment at the same time. Because you can't because i've been experiencing less multiple years have been facing tons of adversity tons of stress but at the same time it's like i know ex right. I know unfulfilled my mission. My purpose and the whole heart is gone. Like i know that. I'm here to serve others not myself on though that amish different man and i used to be in every facet and so to me that's fulfilling and i was trying to go somewhere else with that in lost track. That's okay you you rolled. Was it really well man. That's good. I'm good with that You funny is As you were you were talking about the adversity and fulfillment living side-by-side or or consecutively for me. The the times. When i have felt the most fulfillment is f words. We can put into a sentence at art before letter one. No but now. The times i've felt the fullest amount of the film. It and there's three now is is while i was either facing adversity or a. Just come through it right. And i'm not talking about iran from it in escape i'm talking about i looked at sucker did in the eyes and said i'm coming after you and you start chasing that whether it's a dream or you you've you've got some obstacle in front of you the you've gotta dig under gore around go over or just bust right on through the fulfilment right on the other side and for me and as you might echo this and i'll shut up so you can you can chime in is it's not always on the other side sometimes it it you start feeling it the moment you start facing that guy right in the eye and say i'm coming after you. All right there's a little bit of fulfillment then you start taking those steps to go bus through that obstacle or that adversity and you get more fulfilled which moves you so. It's like this. You know this cycle of motivation. That once you start busting after it's the fulfilment starts to get you right. Yeah absolutely you know i think. Part of part of being fulfilled is being able to embrace that journey to the chorus entrepreneur. Podcast brace the journey that you're on knowing the They're gonna be ups and downs. But that's okay because it is offer are good at the end of the day. Everything we'd go through doesn't happen to us but it happens for us. But the caveat to that is what is our mindset heart set around that if we choose to be the victim of it will but if we choose to use it for good it will absolutely catapulted into a whole new dimension. Yeah no that's so true. And that's my gosh she says and i know we've been going down to a pretty pass in discussion but really you can take these same messages and with a minor couple of words tweak you know it comes down to your education path or to your business pass or trio relationship path right. 'cause i know if i look back at you know i was Married twice before as well and both times you know. I got married for the right in the wrong reasons. The first time. I was seventeen. And i signed up to on the defer program deferred entry program for the united states army. And that was like hey. I signed up in july. And i didn't have to leave till february okay. Well in that time i became eighteen. Eight when it was time to go. I wanted something to bring with me. So what else. I'm gonna do i'm gonna marry my you know my school girlfriend right and This a worst reason to marry somebody right. And as soon as i got deployed over to germany where i wanted to be i was like oh my god. This is amazing. Why did i get married but you know what my father had instilled in.

"To saying this stuff speaks on vision. Identity purpose in life change in is also an ordained minister. The paul's childhood and life choices had led him down a path where he now feels that. It's his call to duty to a called it. His duty to call men to a higher standard of living lives with purpose and intention. Now the lives of service to others rather than service of self paul. Welcome to the dark horse entrepreneur. How you doing good. Tracy thank you so much for having me on Really do appreciate dude. You've just jammed a whole bunch of stuff into your life in the past few years avenue while certainly try certainly sounds like you're your. You're your competition. That by high standards. So i i literally wanna take a step back from the mike and shut my mouth in my mouth. Forever's you know. But i want you to kind of tell your story into the good. The bad the ugly the road traveled to bring you to where you are today in one. Look do what you do so much. Sure yeah absolutely. Love show that story saw with anyone's life We all have a story right. I knew foremost might we all have a story. we've all bent. We've all shared are a. We have our fair share of victories. We have our fair share adversities in all of those culminating together to to make us who we are if we allow that allow to do so. There's no difference for me. You know. I was raised from from infancy to age nine by my mother. Loans provided very. Well for us took care of me very close to our family so the first nine years of my life were really good man. My mother got married. When i was nine on the rug for lack of better word was your out from underneath us and so life took a turn. Morales nine didn't have a good role model. As far as a a mel figure to teach how to be a father how to be a husband had a friend out of a man in general and so my life for the most part Thirty three years old was pretty tumultuous. And i was i was just kinda living painlessly and not really knowing who truly was No was a no how via mandate no what it looked like budget to the work. Hard you know. I mean. I worked hard also spent a lot of money on a say did not take care finance to really be husband treat. You know your spouse wife. In to really raise. Young men had three sons three biological sons with my. I live so i was very for ten years first time around two thousand. Two thousand eleven is so ten. Run years there too That i was married with three biological sons. So you know my my selfish ways aimless ways my lack of integrity my lack of identity all led to me basically walking walking out the door on family and so two thousand thirteen house. Two thousand eleven two thousand thirteen things Our to kind of shift. The main started to to really feel convicted for my past behaviors really filled nickname for past decisions. Anna started looking back and seeing the just a trail of devastation. That might decision said had left also from that point on at Up gotta start. Being the person that i've always. The ethics always told myself that i was a certain man. But my actions didn't line up with who i said i was sure i i knew it was time. So it's almost like a knew who i was in my mind. My mind and my heart didn't connect because wouldn't put into action when put in motion. You're never was at process of really figuring that out and so two thousand thirteen Going through a really intensive four-month counting program and the kind of helped me start taking a look at the end and from their two thousand fourteen. I went back to school. The side of the finish a finish out my degree using my gi veal. And so that's where you know. Started in what they call director of christian education pro concordia university and throughout the throughout the course of studies. What ended a fair was. That's really not the route of wanted to take. And i was like okay. Why don't wanna waste all these credits. So how can i picked it and make the most of this Degree in the criticism. Getting right now said wealth. What i'm willing to do a really wanted to help man really when the help people who have serve really wanted to help us tap into their identity figure out who they are and really wanting to also kind of have a deeper understanding of faith and you know biblical truths and concepts understand how that is and then also wanted to understand how we function as human beings and emotionally as well in order to help people rebuild communicate a finnish out a keep study. Communication skills also need to feel like a one avid deeper understanding for my own faith of biblical principle. So i went in kept the course of study with religious education studies. And then i said okay. What would a deeper understanding how we function as human beings need to continue diving into psychology in. So that's what i did and so. The caller multidisciplinary degree studied all three of those fields. And here we have multiple multidisciplinary degree in legit education education and psychology and from their two thousand fifteen started working offense that i called mankind and basically that was just result of me. Avenue is a desire to be around other men so that i can learn from them but at the same time also felt like a had value to offer a based on the life that i had been through and so i wanted to be around that i can also speak into and so cloud hosted event Hosmer own event. Basically i was going through a mega church. At one thing i realized was they. They would have a women's treat every year without fail but they never head men's retreat. This weird this is. It's up of that church. Yeah that runs. I don't know a ten thousand members. Like i don't understand this I also lost the weight here. See a gap. And i'm gonna feel the gap and so i started host retreats then of course. The time are from have in effective retreat. That really makes an impact in a man's life. What are the pillars of this type. Event that we host ryan. I just really started thinking about myself. But i have needed back. And we'll do. I need now And so over. Time has created this event that we hills called makeup created the pillars that are involved in the us to kind of structure and also through that over i would say the first three or four vents. We really started create created a process. You've been kind helps men identify integrity gaps in life and that's been super valuable for the men who walk is gates each of our vents. So of course we continue to refine we continue to Make tweaks here and there based on feedback that we get at every everyone. A all of our bids. So that's kind of my. My mom story summed up.
