"Thank you a big Joe. So how's the idea? Even come up that Janet Jackson went to work with you guys. Okay so the story. There is There was okay so John Maclean was in our guy at Am records he had Called us to work on Howard Johnson's hand Yup so Which so far is one of the best records of all time to me. I mean it's what an amazing record but anyway so this was like the follow up album and he called US and said you want to do some stuff on our job so we said yeah. Yeah that'd be cool so anyway. We did a couple of things on him. It didn't jump off big or anything but it was great work with him very talented too and I remember we were really into Steve Arrington at that point and so we did. This record called me very very very another body part. Yeah yeah no it worked so anyway So then the next thing he asks us did we want to do he said Hey. Girl in Atlantic Star is GonNa make a solo album. Do you WanNa you WanNa work with her and I said Oh yeah we love Sharon Bryant. Yeah that was cool so we you know we were like okay. We're excited we know we're ready to go. So then we get a phone call and he goes and we started working on tracks for and stuff so he got a phone call and he just said. Hey you know. I don't know how to say this but you know she doesn't really WanNa work with y'all She's got yeah. She's got another producer. She wants to work with her. Whatever I guess her boyfriend or whoever was at the time right so we were like so. We were like okay. Cool that's cool. Whatever any semantic embarrassment he so he said what is it. Is there something else on? You know that you would like to work on for us. You know whatever. And we said well send the roster so they sent a roster and military looked at the roster and we going down the names and then Janet Jackson. We both stopped Janet Jackson and looked at each other and said Jackson so we call John and we sit down and we WANNA do Janet and he says Oh okay. Yeah that's cool. How many do you want to do three or four songs? So now we will do the whole album you do. Yeah we're even back then because as far as I know were ill matic esque productions a thing on armed records back. Then were there. Different produces the first to generate a chain albums. You're right you're right. You're right did you guys. Did you guys choose Janet because of Jesse working with her on the previous Jesse had? Yes because what happened. Was We actually went? Were in a session with her on the first album that Rene and Angela did half of it and I think Leeann sobers at the other half and we were actually in the session with her and actually don't give it up this good thing. Yeah don't give up this good thing and The one I love was come come to me. That was the one I loved and So we knew she was cool. She was big fans at the time. She said front row when we played Long Beach when we could play the form they played. Lumbishi sat front row whether mom and came back after medicine stuff she was so sweet and all that so anyway so we newer already. We felt like we already kind of had a little bit of a relationship with her. But when Jesse did Fast girls and that we just thought. Wow okay that's more. She's got a little attitude too because we knew young she had an attitude because what she was doing the whole may west thing in the variety. Show stuff she always had such a personality. Sassy right so we were like. That's what needs to be happening with her to me. Is that kind of thing. So that's what we terry. We're both thinking that same thing so that was kind of the idea so we said okay cool. That's that's what we're going to do. That's what we'll do and So we had a meeting and I remember at the meeting. It was her dad and her and John and are remember. They played heat of heat by Patti Austin which was the current record. We had just done. Yeah craziest you I would have to go that level you know. What though she it was funny. We didn't know her well enough to know her sense of humor. She's great those three songs in like a day. Oh my God we were sitting there. She's because we book three days. We figure we'll do a song a day and she tore through whatever the first song we did. She tore through it. That leads background so fast. It'd be a terrier sitting there looking at each other going. Is there something else to do? Patty WanNa do the next song? Yeah let's do it. Okay cool then we did it and then we were like okay. Well we'll do the next one tomorrow. I guess we I- unbelievable. I never heard somebody saying that fast. But so we didn't really get to know her like she had a great personalities. He was very nice. We were just too young nervous doing something for Quincy Jones. All by God right. We're trying to do string arrangements. And we're trying to like all we got to impress quincy because he's trusting us with this even at this point all by God yes okay. That's Quincy Jones. Come on. I mean really we jam yeah point were you like. I kiss my ass prints Control no never really. I don't I don't think we I don't think we've ever felt that way Because to me you in the audience the night that he was twenty you guys about I. WanNa hear this on your records. Yes I mean. I never took it as a real insult. Just like okay. He's giving you guys props like what did you. I took it as an insult because he because he he came by he came by. I remember he drove by my house. right after the control album came out and he like through the CD out the window or that some line. Yeah you yeah. Yeah so it was. It was weird and I remember thinking right I really. My Mom told me my mom was the one that would always say you know what people do that. It means that they really. They're jealous of you for something and I'm going because I'm always thinking to myself. How the Hell is Prince Jealous of me? I said that dude is the most talented dude ever in the history of people period. How is he tells us to me? I can't even I no where near you. Because you're you're inside the bubble and couldn't be outside the see it but well that literally took over black music. No I get I get the result of what it was but I never. I never felt like I just felt like we did our job like we like. We set out to do with control album. Our whole thing was and I think I've been quoted on a few times in our neighborhood that we lived in at the time there was a in L. A. Because we were we were we had still had a place in L. A. And we would drive up the street and you'd hear music blasting out of everybody's Hopes right and we just wanted to be that record that everybody was blasting out their home and so it had to be funky and had to be aggressive and had to be loud. There was already. I mean females weren't really making those kinds of records. Those records were all rap records. Right whatever and we wanted to make that kind of record because we felt she had the attitude to pull it off. And so that was the whole thing and That's the the best one of the best days of my life was actually when the album came out and I remember driving up that same street and here in that record blast and everything and at that point. Forget whether we're we're up the charts where we're at IT'S SALES. I felt like we did. We accomplish accomplish what we set out to do. And I hadn't really felt that way honestly as a producer never felt like we. The first record we did that actually turned out in real life the way we heard it in our heads was the finest by the SOS that record. We heard it in our heads because we said we gotta switch up from the show eight thing we did borrowed love on that album right because they say because the record companies like well you got to have another one. That sounds like we said okay. Fine we'll do that but we got all but we asked for like a totally an e minor. Yes just be good to me. Yes they did yes they did yes they did. I was and and so we were like okay. Yeah we'll do that but that's not what we really here for them and when we did the finest it was like in our heads we were like. This is the cut for them to keep them. Boom boom can be. It was about the space of that song. The my favorite part of that song is just the fact that it stops right. It's love it stops right. Well that's the yeah. I mean there's some about that song sophisticated I always thought the SOS ban was really sophisticated. Because even from take your time do it right. You not hear songs. They'd have glacken. Spiel in it. You know what I'm saying. So that was the thing but that record actually came up the way we thought it would. We wanted it to come out. What what is it about? This is one of the first questions I asked you on twitter when I I realized that that was actually you I finally got verified by the way. Yeah so we did that did that. Really Oh okay okay Dave Fuck Dame for thankful to what is it about e flat. My I know you said like you know whatever the song calls for in my head. That's what I make it right but I mean a lot of your. Is there by design? Do you feel that that that e flat minor is like the black the black black life? Experience Your your best funk songs for what have you done for me lately too. Yeah the finest to you know. A lot of your grittier funky songs are done. Aman ki which I mean that it allows you to hit all the black keys and not. It's never a wrong key. That's right but what what D minor was for James Brown almost feel like e flat. I'd used to identify it as Stevie wonder's key but now I that's the jam and Lewis key to meet like. Is it something about or is it just the singers you pick? Their range is strictly met that particular or overthinking lab. Let's go with that Sarah..

He's half Japanese and it's as beautiful old saying that basically means to like take life on and to enjoy the adventure right right and honestly. I don't even remember sentimental but I remember that was amazing. It was it was about taking the adventure of life embracing the fearlessness of you. Know taking in your life on and living it fully so much so that was wearing all the time and one time it fell off and I was traveling that I never wear it traveling Every time I was a double gift because Sort of Ronnie when rates when Ronnie's older and by the way Ron so that's the rose asp asp fast but I feel like a really good sentimental gift is coming from your this year necklace. E You know what I mean like masculine rules you know but like I dunno fire maybe Sapphire. You like some kind of really expensive assertive if all goes wrong it I mean that's really anyway but I love I love. I love the idea of Christmas so fun for me. Not about sentimental I mean yes. That's great but the thoughtful ideas that go into getting Christmas presence even if they're funny even if it's funny shit you know what I mean just got you a funny one. But it's it's just so right now And a sentimental. There's one but I think our family you know and and and also we don't. We did this at Thanksgiving traditions and all of that But we really do have a very I mean I think people have gotten a sense of that through the years just from the things like instagram or snapchat that we get together we have so much fun. It's very jolly and we always pray for Snowy Christmas. And did you look at the weather. It says it's time now when you wake up in the morning and it's just snowing The best and we love it. We love it and we have a great great time and it is it is truly so fun. Yeah and we started drinking gluck very early in the morning. Steve Brings Club of Christmas line. It's like a kind of mold wine. But it's lug what the it might be the same thing. I'm sure same. It's like it's a fine or something and then we you know we have lox and bagels. Usually every morning and tradition is that Santa leaves the presence unwrapped so everything out there. Yeah from Santa Everything that you see. That has no wrapping on. Yeah and has left. Santa's been good to us. I mean I remember getting coal. Remember that year yeah I do. I don't deserve. It was actually very deserved Europe. Kohl what did I do. I don't know you were nightmare. It was your hormonal years. It was your teenage like fifteen sixteen. I do remember getting coal. Yeah that's Bullshit Shit. I don't think I've ever gotten Cole. No I'm usually like Kinda like pull it out by the end of the year even if there's some Shim questionable things that have gone down. I usually come out on top. Yeah I try to pull that together or Santa though because I stay up all all night letting things setting shit together putting all the putting all the toy except of course donald stories because he puts those up. Yes I have have to build something and I take out the instructions it it could be the worst. It's just about every you're sitting being there all with the screwdriver and your little like legs crossed and I can see your back on like oh I I try to stay away. I think Danny's the good one to do that. He actually enjoys that. You know. Sometimes it's just when it's midnight. I pull out like this ice ice cream cart for Rio. And she's supposed to be like you. Know is creamer delivering ice cream and tiny screws. And it's the most you know intricate sort of build old and I know that it's over. I'm done I'm going to be there for hours and hours why it helps me though. Bing's Christmas list. It was seriously extensive. It was one of the funniest Christmas lists. I mean really had some funny stuff very very extreme. It's not like you know. He wants his whole house to become you know a skateboarding The best though is to be famous famous on Tick Tock. That's on his list asking Santa. I know I know. That's the best part it's so funny. Classic and then riders is Great. Writers had his since like you know August. Writers had a list of very specific things. You now that he's older He understands like the things that he actually wants a little more expensive. That's the thing the kids get older and the the trinkets become real trinkets and you're just sort of my last two years of talks with the kids and just telling us they look guys. There's not going to be all this wasteful bullshit anymore. I know what I mean because it really is. There's like sometimes it gets excessive to the point where it makes me nauseous. And I'm just like this is ridiculous. We ended up giving half of their presence away actually once we get them because sometimes they're not even opened you know and it's like why are. Are we doing this and so now it's just like you guys. Look you're going to get a couple really cool things. Yeah you're not gonNA open presents for nine hours of your son. John sent me his Christmas list. And it was all link last links I was like. Oh Wow this is this is amazing. May's my favorite one was as I got heavily into skateboarding. He wants a snapchat or instagram accounts. Because he says it's more fun not going to get it. No no what do you want to hear some founds crazy and it sounds stupid. You know because you're like oh come on. Let's go because I honestly I don't want anything I mean I meaning like I don't want can't I like the same things I always like. I like home stuff I like. I like anything computer. I love my matches. You know so My dinner ware serving where I loved entertain. That's my I love cooking. I asked for a couple of big stockpiling one really big stock pot so I love another stock. This stock like bone broth. Well I want world.

God gave us Easter which New York today bestseller and the beloved God gave us Children's series which has sold over two point. Five million copies B.'s. That is a lot of books so LISA. I cannot wait to dive into your story. That really doesn't tell us anything. Obviously besides you sold a lot of books. Why don't you give us some of your back history of kind of just the well? Sorry before we get into your back district tell us a little. What about like you your family? Just kind of a thirty thousand foot view. Your mom of three. My kids are big now. They're twenty four four twenty one in sixteen. I've been the wife of Tim for Twenty seven years going on twenty eight go to him. Yes he's awesome And I'm an inquisitive. Curious person always looking should know more about my world so I love to travel and I'm a huge introverts hurt so after an in studio interview today in this podcast with you I'll be wiped out. Sounds like my life. That is hilarious. It's funny you say that when we go out in public a lot out doing stuff when we're done I'm getting like amped up in charge by everybody around me and she's ready she's like and I'm wiped out it's time for bed. We need to recharge for sure. Absolutely so okay. Why don't you tell us a little bit about your history As far as the book kind of how you got started. I've read a little bit of stuff about you but I would love to hear it. I'm actually really excited to hear the story. Because it's God story that gave you the book so why don't you tell us all about it. Her Act so on my my publishing story really begins about thirty years ago and at that point I graduated from college with an English degree and wasn't ready to have a real job yet so I agreed to join friends and go to Parks Utah to be a ski bum for winter and I had grown up in the faith Went went to Sunday school every Sunday of my life. Church every Sunday Youth Group all of that but in my through that winter in Park City. I really really found that I was oath surrounded by the lost and also fairly lost myself my faith foundations. I was off off Mike Faith foundations in it was really my mom. Sending a frank pretis books that really helped me think about the spiritual realm in a whole a new way and my old Christian music from Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith the speaking to me speaking to me in over the course of about twenty four hours. I had my own personal reformation where God really just brought me back front and center in before for his feet and I was space down in the midst of this gross apartment in this terrible shag carpets. And all I can say is that it. God was present but I saw an inch of his robe. And I'm totally overwhelmed. So in that moment I decided added. It was my time there was done and went to Israel in Egypt and my cousin was studying The life journeys of Paul in Old City Jerusalem. And so I was able stay with him and his wife and we went all over. Israel and I came from knowing wanted to serve in industry that had had such a big impact. Tacked on me and my life in so Christian music and books fiction that was really motivating for me so I got a job with a Christian in music company met and married my husband and later got a job with a Christian publisher in the same day. They gave me a job in marketing marketing. They offered me a contract on May first novel. So is this amazing Santa Claus Day where I had my first real doubt that I loved and was passionate Senate about and also was on my way to being a published author. Okay so we got to back it up. I got unpack some really interested. You talked about okay. You mentioned you said You were lost but obviously you grew up in church. Went to Sunday school. You know the stories all the stuff I'd like to dive live into that a little bit. Why were you lost? I think that's great because I think as a parent maybe you've experienced this and I think maybe parents listening. Sometimes we think you know our kids. It should quote unquote be a certain way because they grew up in church or do stuff and maybe when they leave the house. They're not where we spiritually want him. I guess I think your story is phenomenal because I always think like. I've always looked at my life instead of if God is big enough to save me in the biggest mess that I was in then he you can definitely work in. My kids lives so talk about that a little bit as the parent of young adult children. I can tell are you that. It's the hardest thing is to watch your children. Make their on. Patty WanNA continue to try to direct them in make it your own story and they really have to have there own story with God and they have to make their faith their own. May We as parents do our best to lay the foundation for them and for me. That was lifesaving because is it really helped me get back on track. When I realized that I might foundation has had slipped or I'd come off my own nation? I'm so it's battled that we bring kids up in the faith and give them. I also caught like the the ribs of a ship. You know if you were building a big old ship you would want to have the Keel in those ribs all very solid. But it's up to the kids to plink that ship the kids in God and so they have to find their way through through that. And hopefully you've given them enough tools in the toolbox so they can be great shipbuilders room but sometimes it's slower and rougher than others. That's a great. I'm GONNA analogy person. That's a great analogy in from one parent to another for those listening as a parent. How do you do that like maybe an example or something something? If you don't mind or you can give a separate but like how do you. How do you steer your kids in that direction? With obviously at this point they're grown up and out the door but you still want the example right so if my daughter calls me with a life crisis will often talk through all of that talk through all the angles of it and then we will finish with a prayer. I'll say can we just grab us to bring it back to place of that is not just about us that God is interested. Interested in a part of all of our life story helps them to see that they can go to God to when they're trying to muddle through and figure out things that are Challenging in life yeah. That's that's great advice because it kind of takes us out of the picture allows them Again back to original answer it allows them to have their own story with a father because ultimately that's what they need. They don't need our faith. They need their own face. You Bet you bet there's there's nothing sweeter than seeing their a start shoe blossom and become its own unique thing not just an echo of your your own story very but how God created them uniquely in his easing them uniquely. I love watching that happens. It'll bring tears to your eyes. I think even even with our kids. There's Times where you see. They have this like Aha moment or like the Holy Spirit showed them something and they bring it to you when they leave like. I'm in tears years in like Oh lord thank you so much Is such such good stuff so okay Over the years I always like to ask my guests. Have you had kind of inspirational scripture or success quote or maybe just even the season that you're in right now one that just really highlights to your mind. I don't think I.

"Now? I'm here to listen even if it's ten minutes in the morning or you get ten minutes after work and you just want them to listen and you both event and you need to connect and can be intimate with your partner. Always seems distracted. And they're not really listening to you. It makes us feel the UNE valued and unimportant and not special so if you do pay attention to them. They feel the opposite. Feel valued the important prioritize special. So Stop Stop what you're doing and try to connect with your partner like even five ten minutes a day. She's using her cough button. Everyone to drink a train So for men. Here's the thing for man so you know it's typical that when a woman opens up to a man things like maybe acumen from work and had a bad day day. I had this happen their partner and she's like hunting this and that and maybe. TV's on you heard before my boss was jerk and then this thing happened and my eh is raised. But I tried and this other bitch next thing you know what I mean. Women go out sometimes about. I dated a woman as the men. Naturally pro naturally are fixers. You just want to fix it like you guys. Don't WanNa hear you just want to unload exactly so they weren't distrust. That's part of being a manager biology. It's how you're wired tired but a lot of times. Don't want that solution. We just WANNA process. That's how we want you to listen. She's process with his fame. Sorry that sounds really hard. It sounds like it's even if you're like I've heard this eight times and then another moment in time will be like you know what you should do that thing but in that moment it's really frustrating guy. It's like watching you guys. I do a crossword puzzle. And you're like at seven across and it's like a president's name Anna word for penis and I don't know what it is I like we know it's Johnson but we're not allowed to tell you in that moment. Just sit there and Bite Tong tough. I know but you know it makes it makes it in mixed off low. It makes it all. It's it's one thing but this is what I'm talking about like biology menu and you want to feel like it's just our women. We are naturally worn bitch even with our girlfriends we communicate we listen. We're not trying to. It's how we're wire so that's why you come to the same welcome to the same conclusion. Just two different times for men for women When you have a problem and he offers advice like even the we told not to don't immediately object him you can listen to it and you can also thank him for make him feel like you know I so appreciate your opinion about that Because because he just wants fixed it up but then CPI tell you more. And I would appreciate if you'd listen and I think everyone can who loves you can take that advice. Does that blow up doll thing. And the more you confront in front these things in the moment as they're happening the more likely you they're not gonNa Fester and get angry like Anderson does like Barnes You goddamn Pizza Hut. This time bitch would never get pizza but she loves it and I get it for her. I don't WanNa really good. Compliment is life you look you look era party to go. You know what you're so lucky. I don't care about looks. Look you're such a cool person looks don't matter to me at all. I have said that a few times but I was joking. I think they knew that I was joking. You think they never called. You Got Lucky Leaner looks you can ever guys you have the best. This guy was eating you the coolest chick. I've the best time with you. They've ever out with your so cool but like that fell good firm like Patty WanNa being me. You know this is before the bang now is after the main then vignette he wants to bang. You funny was cool and really you take it that way. Because that's the greatest compliment awesome actually never wanted anyone but I wanna hang audio knows really nice. That's what he's saying is like yours even if you're a dude. Even if I didn't want to ban you WANNA hang out with you. which is a huge compliment? That's true okay so I guess that was a cop. It's really good round. It was felt really good okay. So here's the thing so also here's another thing. This is you'd part with enthusiasm so they walked to the door instead of simply glancing up like. Oh it's union see every night making a deal like hug kiss on sale. Oh how was your day and I think that could be impossible. You're in the middle of something but you know you're happy that they're there and if you saw him eight hours ago and talked to them the whole ride home you know means something to touch that rhythm is that right you gotta be because each other like hello. Yeah Yeah I get up helped. Open the door. That kind of thing I I know she's coming in the door can say well. No there's like. She comes into the through the backyard so I see her coming across the grass and I got up and opened the door. I even paused hockey game a lot of the time. You pause the hockey deposit. Yeah that's really sweet and down. Don't stop and ask her about a day or do you go right back Vaki or care or I told you the score zip it up. It's time for women's guide. Love's guy just women stop talking. Women want guys want women women's she's quite. I'm looking at Scott Unload time when people get home from work and they just want want to go right into all that yes and it's tough but you gotta sit there and listen patients. Women sometimes worn but other guys you were just like me. But most of them aren't but they WanNa Talk Hawk everything and process okay so and okay we come back. I'm going to give you some more tips about that about how you can make sure that you during the right things you continue to have amazing exacts is share. It's really really easy. Do you ever meet someone who hasn't tried your favorite food or watch your favorite TV show and then you get them to try it and their mind is blown that happened to me all the time but with Lube.

"He'll refrain from ranting about all the band's that should be in the rock and Roll Hall of fame before the car's Adam Corolla EAC. Get it on got to get it on a church to get a mandate on. Thanks for tuning in. Thanks for sharing with a friend that about you. Gina grads right and Baldwin in wired spalding yeah. I the cars I liked. The cars of always liked the cars. I've always liked their deep cuts. It's much more than their poppy lots of spin countless at least in that respect yeah police long as I like not the ones. I always hear Yes yes. They are are one hundred percent simpatico the same and that the police have like the kind of wrapped around your finger stuff because if you just keep hearing over and over and over Roxanne again right right and and I don't think you would call those bad songs. They're just aft out versus. Some of the deeper cuts. It's which are a little raw little raw a little more interesting. Yeah you're out the songs classic rock radio is ruined as if that if you heard Hotel California or every refugee for the very first time today your mind to be blown but with a million times right right so there's that and I was I feel the same way so yes. The cars brought the same. They have deeper cuts. If you get those albums you'll love those ounce and you'll love the deeper cuts that you almost. I never hear on the radio. I was thinking about that also got Rick Okay Cicle. He's lead a pretty good life. Yeah had a model adult. Life debt seemed to have some balance between celebrity and reclusive that seemed to work for him. I don't know what it was has but it seemed he didn't seem bothered by the Paparazzi. He was out there enough but he wasn't pushing himself. I don't know I never met him. I don't know anything anything about him other than he seemed to be able to do it on his terms seem to be able to navigate this crazy world now kind of on his term he he got into producing and cultivating younger bands and sort of you know spreading his knowledge forward a friend of mine. he produced their album and yeah he was a super he was a renaissance man. The the looking at a couple of the songs. I realized that Benjamin or who died earlier in the year two thousand thousand Ghandi died early. Didn't he just fifty three at the time he had a few songs like all mixed up and bye bye. Love actually enjoyed his stuff. I think probably more than the rick okays stuff but Dr Dawson then order saying Dr Yeah Yeah so he drunkenly ruined Christie's night one night when we were going to bed. I try songs like you know the song I they got played like seven times in a row to try to go to bed. Did she not know this song. I the way I was thinking you know it's. He's like Oh yeah this song. We're listening to this again. I ran the roast which I didn't actually see yesterday. It's gotTA SORTA reporting back on on some stuff they do the usual cuts for time but then we cut that we cut a few in they'll do it in such away that it doesn't make sense with the flow messes with the flow and one joke they cut which got a good response in the room and it had been getting a good response which is the first joke which was me and Schon Hayes and I was explaining it was sort of out of the gate so the problem is is the next joke see cutting time is fine but when it starts getting confusing that's when it becomes difficult because then you'll go the next joke is sort of while we're on the top of the I joke but if you cut the first job up then we're just on the topic out of they cut your establishing Joe. The Blue Yeah the joke was do you have do. We have have that from the comedy store so recorded me. Doing some of these jokes at the comedy store and I have the script. Sean Hayes is here uh-huh. I set it up by saying here's on who you know you hear me say Robert Deniro. It's because he's on the kind of thing and Sean Hayes is the master ceremonies Germany's and so I went and recorded myself doing a couple of jokes up at the comedy store because I wanted to hear what direction was given to Mike Lynch so he could kind of hear what the reaction was to the jokes is well but again keep keep in mind. I'm standing on stage holding a piece of paper reading it which I'm not really young like a joke so it's not quite what you what you'd want. I don't know you got the first. Shun Hayes one so I recorded myself up in the belly room one night and on the main stage the other night the belly room is much more intimate and much more certification here people they're sort of sounds come out at him but but the but the main room it was more of a bigger audience you kind of get more a feeling for all right. Max Patty WanNa buy a little time. This is one you did the Shawn Heins. He's joking the belly room so this is all I did on the on the main stage to but you can play the Valley Rams Fun okay here. We go everybody my radio. Doc So buddy reminders by era when he had a sense of humor cut fat represented by route. Call Glad you the angriest Fox on the planet that I cut. I love the days I'm always kind of wonder what it like being when it'd be like being blow by Dude I imagine it'd be a lot like wearing craw aw this feels great until you down. Alcan heard of will and Grace John One home back. Everybody incidently shuns nickname in high school was back good yeah yeah. That's it must have been in a different order on the that was on the main stage that wasn't in the belly room room. I must have done a different order. Beller but anyway it started with Sean Hayes everybody hey will and grace everybody what a Comeback Incidentally Schantz ons nickname and high school was come back so that got me and then I always then it then it sort of lead into other curious. It'd be like being blown by dude so it's sort of lead lead into it. Yeah the final script had had the will and grace second and then the crock thing last and just cut right to your crock joke which was actually the tag hag of the entire so little time. When do you find that information out. You're trying to get together just on. It's just how they just. They just cut cut it up. That's all and you know I get it you gotta do. I mean you gotTa. You gotta cut stuff. I ended up doing a little under five minutes. You know some people want a little over five minutes. You know I'm not gonNA. Complain at Deniro went six months yeah. It's fine but like There is a few comedians that one over five could have given me that twenty eight seconds with a evenings at the table. I don't know if it was too dirty for them or like what the rest of the night. I didn't hold Ida by comedy central last night to watch the roast. I love the rose and I'm glad I did because it was a great show but no oh that would not have been the dirtiest joke those appropriate. They did not do it for for that interesting. The only thing I heard them bleep discount yeah interesting so there was that joke got got cut which I I liked. I liked the joke comeback Nick in high school but also to kind of help get me into the gay stuff but then I was fine and then there was the last one with with Baldwin which it got a big God come back out a big laugh in the room and the last one cat a big big laugh with them tim but I don't know but they cut that one. I think to all right. Allie Bobin isn't here because you hate them. collies are here because they you best friend isn't here because he hung himself the best friend yeah all right so. I don't know why they cut that. One like I was my end also was was my end Joe. Wow Aldo like here's where we're at like. We're done now well. That's good well. We'll give you a big huggins. Say How can I think I think. It was quote fucking funny man. He's a sweet guy it. It was funny because they make them and played it for a lot of the reactions. You know what I mean like the shake hands on whatever and there were there were mixed somewhere great job in some way and then someone like hit you you and the black you loved Chris Red Thread. Oh I had a Chris read. Joke got two guys. I I love brothers. He's got three of them. Good couldn't twelve seconds yeah that was that good have been nine. I meant the extended laughter to Chris Red Worried about you. EARN money black deer with leaving God talking about Leslie Jokes. I don't know they look at that a hate crime. I think I think the last time somebody knocked around Leslie Elite Jones a little bit run from twitter into a thing and I just think they don't want now well. Maybe they were focusing on the unfunny part and not the dude food part had to be specifically Leslie Johns because Caitlin Jenner took. Every joke in the book. Last night couldn't have been because you called her dude. Leslie Jones is a little bit of an endangered species like she don't do that. She has a little protection and there was that whole thing where she kinda got knocked around a few years ago ago and then she fought back and then it kinda turned into this she was on the dais. You could make that she's not trapped null friendly fire right right we have the we have the Caitlyn Jenner Caitlyn Jenner joke that got cut again. These are just sort of. I'm reading off a script and the belly room or something but at least we have it in front of sorry. I haven't done a rose in a long time like the First Roast did was gossiping. Cosby is the Hugh Hefner rose almost years ago back at home one back then I was young man Caitlyn jeter with bill got a good reaction like that's one one of those I like for me. I like come back Joe. That's a funnier joke or better job for me but then there's also jokes are just work on a more or universal level and that that joke worked well at the at the roast. I don't know why after cut that one anyway yeah they're they. Were like really quick so I don't understand why you would cut those if they have equality. They just cut every I mean they cut..

And I'm pissed that the narrative now is that you need to be a number one and have your company because a lot of people are gonna lose money on the table because that's just the narrative some such a positive guy. I struggle to think about the things I'm bad at but fifth awareness requires understanding both and then choosing which Patty wanna go through. I'm a big fan of going all in new strength. And don't give a fuck about. What you suck at some women's isn't only just betting on your strength. It's accepting. Or your shortcomings? Let me tell you one thing. What works for me does not necessarily work for you. I think being a peace with yourself and your skill set is such an important part of this to people try to be like me because at Sicily in it's sexy and people want to be charismatic and onstage. So many of you do so many things better than I do. You can look at like how people roll. And like, it's great admire and things of that nature. But it's so damn and poor to stick to like, your DNA try to get to where you understand yourself and understand what your strengths are. You've gotta find yourself awareness, all your shortcomings or there for a reason. They're also allow you to be great deep in your brain, deeping, your heart. You actually, accept all. Those shortcomings is the second your life goes on the offense or the people don't tap into their strikes. You have to audit who who actually are. Because then you're not going to both yourself score until you you'd motivate yourself. You're not gonna bullshit yourself at once you believe that either for yourself. Or someone else told you go directly all chips all into that. We've all got something, and you just need to accept what yours and go in on that. Then you've got a starting point to success. And so self awareness of finace is accepting your shortcomings, and accentuating your shrinks. Entrepreneur. The guys hope that was a good episode and just try to collect some data.
