Daniel Horowitz on Biden's Warning of an Even Bigger Looming Pandemic

"Right now is an incredibly wise and great patriot, someone who has been speaking out against COVID tyranny, and has also been unafraid to go into the weeds and do research whether it's Ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and really waging a very effective war against Remdesivir, and he's been one of the most articulate and effective writers in the last couple of years, and he's been keeping keeping the bad guys on defense, which is just terrific. It's Daniel Horowitz, who has a new article out all about this topic we're talking about Daniel Horowitz says, quote, states must preemptively nullify any WHO international pandemic regulations. Daniel, welcome back to the program. Tell us what is the WHO poised to do, separate fact from fiction and how should we respond? Sure, you can't view this in a vacuum. Let's first of all, you have to look at the broader context that the Biden administration just conducted this global COVID summit where they essentially warned there's going to be an even bigger pandemic that is even more deadly and it's going to happen in the fall and the winter. It's kind of interesting. They seem to always know that. You know, when it's going to happen, so I would take them at face value, I ignored it last decade and never paid attention to this, but now I think we should take them seriously. So the broader point is that the impression that Republicans are trying to give you. And when I say Republicans, I mean the Mitch mcconnells, I mean, a lot of governors and state legislative leaders when I had friends of mine and state legislators, they're like, dude, we got to immunize ourselves against this to make sure it doesn't happen again. Let's utilize the time we live in when all these non pharmaceutical interventions so to speak have become so unpopular and let's make sure we currently ban it in law and state constitutions. And they're like, no, we're done with COVID. Let's move on. They don't want to talk about it. But we're not done with it. We're not done with the biomedical state because Charlie, this wasn't some once in a hundred year natural virus that happened to come and now it's over with. So maybe they responded inappropriately or even in an evil way, but it's over with. No, they induced it. They created it, and they're on to the next thing. And they've already groomed dare I say our generation to automatically acculturate themselves to this sort of reaction. So

Prof. Nicholas Giordano on the Patriot Act and Your Loss of Freedom

"As promised, Nick jordano, professor Nicholas jordano is my guest. He's a Professor of political science at Suffolk community college, a native New Yorker. I love it. I'm also a native New Yorker. But I had a sojourn in Connecticut where I lost the accent. So I apologize. You're a Professor of political science who has been talking about a lot of the stuff that I talk about on this program, which is to say the growth of government bureaucracy and the growth of government at the expense of freedom. So how did you, how did you get to that place? Were you raised in such a way that this was on your radar? Did this come to you as you did your studies? Well, I'm a student of history and the founding fathers made it clear that we want to limited government. We want a small government because governments continually grow expand abuse their power. And so we have to hold government accountable. And then what I saw with the Patriot Act, beginning to unfold, that's what concerned me because I was in Homeland Security. When you say the Patriot Act, talk about what year was the Patriot Act. Shortly after 9 11. So normally it takes about two years to get pieces of legislation through most pieces of legislation never see the light of day. But the Patriot Act passed within two weeks. And it was an encompassing bill that really changed the dynamics of the national security framework of the United States. And people said, well, if you don't support it, then you must be doing something wrong. And many conservatives. You're with that. You're with the terrorists. Correct.

The FBI Is Spying on Parents: A Timeline

"29th, the school board association sends a letter to the Biden White House. 5 days later on October 4th, Merrick Garland issues this memorandum with a press release that lays out and puts a snitch line together to go after parents, then 16 days later, the FBI sends out the email that establishes this threat tag designation that was put on these parents. In 22 days. So I have this letter printed out here from Jim Jordan and Mike Johnson, who's the ranking member on the subcommittee on the constitution civil rights civil liberties, and it's addressed to the honorable Merrick Garland. He says in sworn testimony before this committee, you denied that the Department of Justice or its components were using counter terrorism statutes and resources to target parents at school board meetings. We now have evidence that contrary to your testimony, the FBI is labeled at least dozens of investigations into parents with a threat tag created by the FBI's counter terrorism division to assess and track investigations related to school boards. These cases, now listen closely, include investigations into parents upset about mask mandates. And state elected officials who publicly voiced opposition to vaccine mandates. These investigations into concerned parents are the direct result of and would not have occurred but for your directive to federal law enforcement to target these categories of people. These laying down the gauntlet, both of these representatives are. Laying down the gauntlet saying, this would not have happened, had you not directed the FBI to do so. So what is this testimony that they are referencing? To play cut one ten, this is Merrick Garland assuring Congress, under sworn testimony under oath that the Department of Justice was not using its resources to target concerned parents. Cut one ten. I can't imagine any circumstance in which the Patriot Act would be used in the circumstances of parents complaining about their children, nor can I imagine the circumstance where they would be labeled as domestic terrorism. So then why mister Garland, honorable mister Garland? Are you using counter terrorism tools to label these concerned parents about mask mandates and vaccine mandates, which, by the way, they will be proven completely true. They basically already are. They will be absolutely vindicated. This show will be vindicated, concerned parents across the country will be vindicated. Because masks did not work, they did not stop the spread, nor will they ever. Nevertheless, this is the state of things as they now stand that if parents express concern, if they voice their opposition, they were surveilled by the FBI using counter terrorism tools. We now know

"patriots" Discussed on Patriots Beat

"Bet online where the game starts. Last thing here on the wide receivers, Nikhil Harry, let's just put this out there and be honest. If the Patriots had a trade partner for Nikhil Harry, he'd already be off the team, right? I mean, this is not a matter of the Patriots hanging on for hope that Nikhil Harry is going to prove out to be a good player or live up to that first round expectation. There is nobody that wants to give the Patriots anything for Nikhil Harry. So what do you think ultimately ends up happening with him? Do you think that they cut them? Do you think that they find a trade partner at the end of training camp or maybe they end up keeping them for one more year? He is under contract for one more season and then you can cut bait next off season. There's value in bringing him into camp. You can only increase his trade value. We talked about this on a previous show, right? Let him go out there, let him wash you on Williams a couple of times. Let him do it in a pre season game, get the hype but maybe you can movement a pick swap. They just have too many wide receivers. It's not worth the Ross or spot for them to keep them. And everybody's go, oh, play tight. He's not tight end. That would make it easy. If you use it tight end, that would make it easy. 'cause I'd rather have him probably than Asia or key. Right. But he's not that guy. So they might end up having a cut. There's some dead money, there's not a ton, but yeah, yeah, I can't see him on the team. Yeah. I mean, I think what you're hoping for is that maybe somebody gets hurt in another camp, obviously you're not hoping anybody gets hurt. But the idea is somebody gets hurt in other camp, a team has a few injuries at the wide receiver position. They absolutely just need a body there. Maybe Nikhil Harry becomes somebody that can fill in there, but at this point during the draft, they basically got no calls on him..

Such a pleasure to be here with you and your America first American patriots. Thank you kindly with so glad to have you here because you have a new book that you have written the forward to. It is, where's my main camera? It is zelensky, the first major profile of Ukraine's president Vladimir zelensky, the unlikely Ukrainian hero who defied Putin and united the world written by Andrew urban and Chris McLeod and with your forward before we jump into the book which full disclosure is from my publishers the great regret and I didn't even know about it, but I'm glad it has appeared today being launched today. For those who missed your prior appearances on the show, walk us through your credentials, your work with the CIA, the DIA, and your expertise on Russia. Just give us a summary of your bio Rebecca. Sure. I served as a cine intelligence officer for Russian doctrine and strategy in the defense intelligence agency, which is the military counterpart to CIA. We provide support to our war fighters. And consequently, also to our commander in chief, who is in charge of our armed forces, I also worked with the central intelligence agencies national contestant service on the Russian target. So anything from Putin, his mindset, his goals. The national clandestine service, that's the renaming of the DO, the director of operations. So these aren't just the analysts, these are the actual offices who are doing operations overseas. 100% true. "Let's talk about the conservative response. You're out there, you're delivering the truth every day. Talk to us about Republicans. How they've responded to this. Talk about fundraising for these political prisoners. How weaking and what can people, the millions of people watching, what can they do for these prisoners? Thank you for asking that sub. So I would direct people to a site called the patriot freedom project. When all of this was going down, there was no help from high profile criminal defense attorneys or any attorneys on the right. No one would touch this. There was no help for the families. There was no help any legal defense fund. So patriot freedom project was created by the adoptive aunt of one of the detainees. And she really started this on her own. And it really sort of took off after dinesh d'souza and his wife contributed a $100,000 to it last summer. And I believe it's now raised over 1.3 million, just people stepping up, wanting to help. It's really remarkable. And this fund has been able to retain other good criminal defense attorneys, has given direct help to the families who are suffering because their husband father is in jail and they have no resources. Of course, then struggling with everything else being called a domestic terrorist, a traitor and insurrectionist by everyone from Joe Biden down to local news reporters. So this is where people can go to really help.

And I struggle a little bit, sometimes with those words to come out of my mouth. But look, deterrence depends on two things. Credible military options, right? The Russians, the Chinese, the United States have to believe that the other side is capable of mutually assured destruction, but the key component there is the political will to use it. And when you have the commander in chief, the United States of America leader of the free world on the international stage, we've seen that in our history in a great way, Reagan tear down this wall and other great leaders in this country's history, but when you see on the international stage in a moment of crisis, the president flip flopping around, sending mixed signals, confusing our own troops. Section 7 a of the bill states, notwithstanding any other law, a person shall not be subject to a civil or criminal liability penalty or otherwise deprived of their rights based on their actions or emissions with respect to the pregnancy or actual potential alleged pregnancy outcome, including miscarriage stillbirth or abortion. Thanks for having me. Of course, we're here at a turning point action dinner about to talk about your upcoming movie. I do it, I do it audio and video, and I've been doing it now a little over a year, and so I'm relatively new podcaster, but really enjoying it. Awesome. Tell us about the movie. We've talked about it. A fair amount on this program, but no better person to talk about it than you? Well, I think it's my most important project of all the movies I've done. So this is number 6 of the documentaries. And I'm sensing around at the same kind of electricity I felt around the first movie, which was my Obama film called. Really broke the zeitgeist. Yes, the second most successful political documentary of all time after behind Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9 11. But I think this movie like that film pulls the curtain back. And the first film that was a puzzlement around Obama, Obama was doing all this stuff that seemed to undermine America and it just seemed, is this man so clueless that he keeps giving away American interests. And so there wasn't a good framework to understand Obama. So I got on the plane, I went to Hawaii, I went to Indonesia, I went to Kenya, sort of discovered the real Obama. And here, this is a movie that's not called 2000 meals. It's not about a person, but it's about a burning issue that is surrounded with a veil of censorship. It's about an issue that's on. It's almost like it's haunting the American mind. And I don't think we can really go forward as a country without learning, perhaps not all the truth, but at least some of the truth. And by truth here I mean, documentable, provable facts about the 2020

You know, one of the things that I think is so underreported is Obama administration and we're transitioning this into a little bit later, was so, oh, we're going to get along with the world. We're using this. They were one of the heaviest users of drones and I mean, I mean, how do they how does the Obama administration continue to be so insulated from scrutiny from the mainstream media, even after he's been out of office now for so long? It's a mindset. Listen, I remember the summer of 2008 like it was yesterday and the media was cheering on Barack Obama. There was no chance for John McCain to win that election because the media had fallen in love with the idea that the first black president was going to be elected and then he had this great new liberal progressive agenda that would take us away from the policies of George W. Bush and the wars. In fact, Obama sustained those wars continuously, continued to exercise in some cases, extend the powers of the Patriot Act and became a regular consumer of information that had been unmasked and in fact the unmasking requests under Obama went way up. So did the violations of civil liberties. That's one of the most important things in November of 2016 as Barack Obama is about to head out the door. He drops on the fisa court. Oh, we forgot to tell you about 5 years worth of violation. Sorry about that judge. And they drop all of these violations as they're going out of the door so they wouldn't get in trouble. If the Trump administration came to the court, 5 years of just chronic violations of American civil liberties, they had less regard for civil liberties than the Bush administration. The record in the fisa court is now ultimately clear about that.

Hunter Biden's 'Laptop From Hell' With Miranda Devine

"With us right now is a phenomenal patriot, she's super smart and is shaking the matrix. There's a lot happening. I think it's because of her reporting and because of her book that we're starting to see some rumblings from our federal law enforcement agencies. In the direction of Hunter Biden with us is Miranda divine author of the plainly titled but accurately titled book the laptop from hell, Miranda, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Thanks so much. Charlie, great to be with you. So tell us the book is out I've heard some amazing things about it and so tell us what the reaction has been. Well, look, it's been a bestseller, sold a lot of copies to people on our side of the fence, but really there was this wall between conservatives and people who are, you know, perhaps Trump voters who didn't vote for Joe Biden. And the people who read The New York Times and watched CNN and MSNBC and just were kept in the dark by their favored organs before the election. And until 17 months later, last week, The New York Times broke that wall, just a little, just a little chink by admitting that yes, the laptop from hell, Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop is real and they had authenticated emails on it. I mean, we did that 17 months ago, you know, basically the New York Post that was your previous guest, Emma Joe Morris, my friend, my colleague, she did a brilliant job of doing the due diligence that was necessary. And we also had Charlie Bobbie linsky, who you didn't need the laptop. You could just talk to Tony bubble linsky who was a very is a very credible businessman who got caught up in the Hunter Biden mess and a patriot, a naval veteran. He offered himself to the media and gave a press conference before the election after the New York Post story first came out. And no one was interested. They just dismissed him. They ignored him. We didn't. We published the material that he gave us, which was, you know, it corroborated what was on the laptop and it augmented it. And then there was the chuck grassley and Ron Johnson inquiry, which already about a month before we published that stories had already started laying down the paper trail, the documents that showed all this millions of dollars ended up being tens of millions of dollars coming out of Chinese and Russian and Ukrainian shady coffers into the bank accounts in America of Joe Biden's family members and their business

"But they're scoring at the second highest rate in the league. 48% of the time they get the ball. They score. The only team ahead of them is the chiefs, 48.2. The bills aren't bad, they're 5th. They're 45, but that kind of proves my point. If you limit the drives, which team can get points more consistently, you know, over a certain period of time for the bills it's gonna add up because they're more explosive. Yeah. But if you can limit those drives, the Patriots on a per drive basis are the more actually the more consistent offense. So I think that's a big thing in this game is let's look at the number. And look, I said this, I said for the bucks game, I said, if they hold the bucks to 9 or fewer drives, they would win the game. The buck scored the what ended up being the winning touchdown on the tenth drive of the game. So I'm going to put that number out there again. If they can hold the bills, you know, it's probably needs to be. It might have been 8, 9, actually. That's it. I said, 8 drives. Tampa scored what was the go ahead touchdown on the drive on the Patriots and suing drive. They missed that field golden right if the Patriots could hold the bills to 8 drives or less. They're gonna be right there in this game. It's when you get to drives 9, ten, 11, 12, but this is what the bills have been the last few weeks. Again, please bring back the Payton game plan. Just what I'm saying. That's what this is. The bills were close. They were close in the third quarter against Atlanta. They were close in the third quarter against the jets. They were close in the third quarter against the Patriots in week 16. They need those extra drives to do what they want to do. That's when they break through, they break through late in games and we've seen this defense struggle late in games. So what do you do? And by the way, the whole latent game thing to me, people think of that is.

"They've got to be going for four to 5 yards to carry, staying ahead of the chains, it's chewing up the clock when they have the ball, and then on defense, if you can force the bills to do the same, you just shrink their margin for air. You shrink it significantly because they're built to win. And I'm going to pull the numbers up after I say this. I should have had them in front of me. But the bills are trying to get ten, 11, 12 shots, right? Yeah. Because they figure, they that's the thing about patriots offense. It's not explosive, but they're pretty much going to do what they're going to do. I don't know that they need as many drives to get to the total that they want to get to. They can do what they need to do, especially if they're running the ball well, they can do what they need to do and only 7 or 8 drives. And it helps the defense too, because the defense has been getting picked for the Patriots. The defense has been getting gas late in these games. If the bills, the fewer drives the bills run, the better chance patriots have in that game, again, that's running the ball, it's limiting turnovers, it's forcing them to run the ball. Yeah. So I think that's a huge part of this game. I'm going to pull up the drive numbers. Is this the two high Peyton Manning Broncos game? Remember that game in 2013, the Patriots came out. They played a bunch of dime. They played a lot of too high safety and they forced Peyton man to hand the ball to no Sean Moreno the entire game. I think no Sean ran for like 250 yards. But the Patriots ended up winning the game in overtime. And I look at this game and I think it's a similar style where last game out, they played post safety man to man coverage. They played some split safety man to man with the cutter, you know, the safety is cutting the crossers, but whatever. That's the minutia of it, right? That's getting in the weeds. Right. Regardless of all of that, they played way too much man to man in that game. We know that. I'm not sitting here saying that the bills offense, there's some kryptonite to the bills offense and there's this answer to the bills often if they do this, they'll win the game automatically. That's not no one's suggesting that. But every time I watch the bills on filming, I've watched a ton of bills tape this year because they've now played them three times. Every single time that I watch the bills on tape, they are much worse and much more prone to making mistakes against zone coverage than man coverage. I think that Allen technically throws well against both types of coverages because he's just a good player..

"To develop? I just don't think well, that's the other thing. So I'm glad you brought that up because so just real quick for my point of view before you get because I have my point of view and then you have the right answer. Yes. I think that I don't think Josh McDaniels had a feel for what the Patriots offensive line was doing in that game or what the bills pass versus doing in that game. Because he's calling plays that needed time to develop in that time just wasn't there. And that's not on Mac that's not on the receivers. You just, I think that's the thing where and again, this is a theme of the whole game. I think the Patriots coaches never picked up on the flow on the tempo on the mood, whatever you want to call it. They never picked up on what was happening on the field. This is what, and this is what I criticized the bills for immensely after week 13. And I'll bring it back and say the Patriots did it. The Patriots did what they wanted to do. They put their head down, they put the blinders on they closed their eyes, la la la la la, they did what they wanted to do. They didn't allow the game to dictate any of their decisions. And that's bad coaching. It's bad coaching. And this is another example. Yeah, so your point about Magnum getting rid of the football. I think one of the most interesting statistics that I've seen, not getting rid of the football, I'm saying they were calling plays where he had to hold the ball too. Okay, yeah. Either way, right? Maybe a little bit, yes. I understand where you're coming from. Yeah. So just in general, whether it was scheme related play calling related or Mac related and receiver related, Matt Jones over the last two weeks, his average time to throw Alex has been 3.1.

"The Patriots beat podcast here on the CNS media podcast network and on patriots press pass on YouTube. I'm having Lazar Evan Lazar came and say my own name this morning. This afternoon, whatever time of day it is. Join us always by Alex farth and Alex. First of all, thank you. Thank you for your time today, Alex. I didn't know if you had enough time for us this week with all your 98 5 happenings over there. You can listen to Alex on the radio all week long, right? All week long? Yeah. Tomorrow morning, 6 to 10 a.m.. It's you need to plug your mic and by the way. Tomorrow morning 6 to 10 a.m.. In Thai Anderson Thursday night with ty Anderson 6 to 11 p.m. and then Saturday after whatever the early oh no, there's no bullo game on Saturday. It's four 30 leading into the bruins with Brennan glasheen and then I was on with actually Greg beard today. We had a little seal in this party over a 98 5 sports this morning. You can hear that show back on 98 5 of the sports club dot com. Well, there you go. My mic clearer now. Not even close. Today has been like, for those watching, it's just been, this is the kind of day it's been. Okay, all right. There you go. There you go. There we go. All right, just out of play with it a little bit. Okay, anyways, so obviously. Not the day that not the show, not the day that we wanted to have here today or yesterday for the Patriots falling to buffalo as you can see right down there. 33 to 21, I'm sure all of you watch the game yesterday and we're as frustrated and as disappointed in the Patriots performance. And as we titled the show today, are the Patriots cooked I think is the one theme that everybody is going to come out with over the next couple of days. It was a bad loss. I think on top of everything in terms of the execution, the X's and O's, which we're going to get to here in a little bit, the lack of energy, the lack of urgency, the slow start that they had and just the fact that buffalo yesterday seemed like they wanted it a little bit more than the Patriots, especially to start that game Alex. All those things are frustrating, I would say when you have a game with such high stakes with a chance to win the division or at least essentially when the division on your home turf, you've put yourself in this great position and the bills go out there and as Bill Belichick said after the game, the Patriots didn't do anything well enough to truly be competitive at any point in time in this game. And although they did get it to one score late at 26, 21, it truly felt like the patch were outplayed from start to finish in this game. Yeah, you know, I talked a ton last week, the one thing I didn't think would happen. And the bills are talented team. I certainly thought there was a chance that they came in and we got to shoot.

"They're at home. The Titans have nobody, the Patriots should be expected to win this game. And now losing this game, I don't care how much they win by, right? I'm not gonna get into all of you only win by three points. It's not impressive. A win is a win, right? But now they should be held accountable for winning a football game like this because the Titans are just decimated by injuries. Yeah, and I mean, you know, you look at kind of what they're doing. I think if you're the Patriots, the plan is easy. Get up early because they don't, you know, they still have all their tight ends, but they don't throw the ball in tight ends a ton, especially down the field, Anthony first, or is their leading receiver among tight ends, 20 sorry, 19 catches for a 138 yards. I mean, that's not, you know, they're thrown underneath to those guys off play action. Those guys are the checkdown options off play action. So if you can get ahead and take the running game out 'cause I do like devonta foreman, the offense line's okay. They're banged up there as well. But if the Patriots, you just can't, it's almost like going back to the falcons game now. I feel like where that was the taking care of business game, right? That's kind of what this is. Get up early, forced them to be predictable forced them to throw the ball and you should be fine. I think that's where you're at at this point and just, you know, Mike variables a much better coach than Arthur Smith. I don't think anybody's going to disagree with that. So just be on the offensive side of the ball, don't turn the ball over. They're able to have something dialed up and don't play in his hand. Variable just seems to be the only thing going for the Titans right now is that his somewhat institutional knowledge, I think it's a little he played for the Patriots 20 years ago. So it's not like he has a ton of institutional knowledge, but at least some of it, he's not afraid to come in here and play Bill Belichick and play the Patriots. And like you said, this feels like a game where every trick play that the Titans have and their playbook offensively is in play on Sunday. They're gonna, it's gonna be really difficult for them to make yards on the offensive side of the ball. Just by going head to head against these patriots defenders, right? The Patriots are going to have a lot of advantages when they when the Titans have the football. So trick plays, double passes, double reverses. Running backs throwing passes, wide receivers throwing away new, whatever they have, right? Whatever they have in that book. They're going to bring out. Now, I want to talk about the Patriots offense against the Titans defense. The Titans defense has some injuries on it too. But most of their main guys, it sounds like Harold Landry is going to play in this game. Jeffrey Simmons is playing bayards playing. So they have most of those guys on the defensive side of the ball. This isn't an analytics darling of a defense. Football outsiders and DVO aid. Think they're okay, you know, 12, 13, somewhere around there and EPA and DVA and all those types of metrics. So not an elite defense by the metrics..

"patriots" Discussed on Greg Bedard Patriots Podcast with Nick Cattles

"This is the Greg bedard patriots podcast with Nick cabins. Well, that was utter domination and I think mostly unexpected how easy it looked patriots beat the browns 45 to 7 and Greg the question that people are asking are the Patriots back? I want to say yes Nick, but I don't want to over promise and under deliver with this team. As a journalist, you try not to get caught up into what's going on and just sort of deal with the facts. And look, there's no question that whether it was in the press box or reviewing the film and I've watched all the offense film. I have not finished the defense yet. It was as an impressive patriots performance that I've seen in some time. In terms of utter domination, wire to wire, I think I would have to go back to the 2019 season opener. Yeah, 2019 season opener. Against the Steelers. And the way they executed in this game in all phases and the way they beat you in so many different ways was just really really impressive and it reminds you of patriots teams past. Now the thing that all caution and I'm just, I know I'm not going to go overboard. I'm sure the fans are. I'm not going to go overboard yet because I'm just not sure what this team's ceiling is. There have been years past where we've seen performances like this, maybe like, you know, like 2019, where down the stretch, it didn't hold up and they kind of got exposed that they beat up against a soft schedule. Will we look back and say this stretch of games was really a lot softer than we thought. Maybe, but in just in terms of what I look for in a game, I was happy watching this film, it's been a long time since I've been happy and the Patriots were just they were great and all the phases. It was very fun to watch. They were dominant in the trenches after that first drive on both sides of the football. They really dictated this game from beginning to end. Again, from the first drive and on. Obviously, the first drive was a disaster. The Johnson ran the football down their throat. But after that first drive, man, they dictated this game. And when we look at this in the big picture, I tend to agree with you as far as the ceiling. I'm not really sure what the ceiling is, but I'm also not really sure what the ceiling for the rest of the conference is. This is a very season. The AFC is as wide open as I could ever remember a conference being this deep into a season. You can almost flip a coin to tell me who's the better team in this conference. I mean, Tennessee, at least, record wise is the best team in the conference, but their offense the last two weeks has not been good. They've had like 470 total yards the last two weeks combined, they're really led by their defense. I'm interested to see if a team can get through that defense without Derek Henry is Tennessee good enough..

"Is Henry. We'll see. Another, by the way, we already did XFL AF legends. What about when Tony Pollard goes in the game for Zeke? Still pretty good. But still pretty good. Not as good also, you're looking at a little differently here because I think we overrated Ezekiel Elliott for a long time. That's what I would say about that rookie season he was amazing. He was, but let's not also forget for the majority of his career, he's run behind the top three offensive line in the NFL. Like the offensive line dictates running back successful time. Thank you. That's the point, right? That's what that's why a guy like AP can step in for Derek Henry. But what I'm telling you is the offensive line and a good system of football well. I'm not saying, look, I'm not saying that running backs are solely responsible for their own success. But what I'm saying is, Derek Henry, it's different. Derek Henry can generate his own success regardless of the offense. You can't tackle patriots. The Patriots play the Titans, was that week 12? Yeah. I think it is. And there's a chance that Derek Henry might not play in that game, but at least we're gonna have a sample size of what four games. I think it is of Adrian Peterson in there for I'm not saying that he's gonna be as good as Derek Henry, but I'm saying that it's actually three games. Week 12, three games right after Thanksgiving is when the Patriots play the Titans. I'm not saying that it's going to be as good as Eric Henry. I'm saying that you're not going to notice a huge discrepancy just like you will. There's having noticed a huge discrepancy with choba hover on the ground. So here's what I'd say. Derek Henry and I can't remember the exact number. I found this data a long time ago and I can't refine it. But when the NFL, and this is going to send you through the roof, but this is for everybody else. When the NFL stats tackles, there's two kinds of tackles. They're solo tackles in combo tackles. The highest percentage of, you know, for any ball carrier, the highest percentage of combo tackles. So the guy who is hardest to tackle one on one last year was Derek Henry, and he was something like 15 points ahead of the next closest player. You spent that's beyond the offensive line because the offensive line gets him the hole, but no other player refuses to be brought down by the first person to come tackle them other than Derek Henry, and that's where I go back to that combination. The only comparison I can think of for that was prime Rob Gronkowski because when Gronk was in his back, right? When he was at like 2013 when he had that massive season, right? 2011 was 2011. Did he go back, remember the plane Washington where he's carrying three guys down the sideline? The first person to Rob Gronkowski never made the tackle. Never. That's what Derek Henry does that job doesn't do it. Elliott doesn't do it. Khmer doesn't do it. None of them do it. Derek Henry, it's on another level because the offensive line. All right, well we'll see because like I mentioned,.

"So if they can put some of those plays and install some of those plays in this week into the game plan and into that opening script, that might give the patrons some problems early, then maybe you get a touchdown drive out of that early. And then if you can play playground football a couple of times, that's how you get the Patriots into trouble in this game. And by the way, somebody asks if walker's so good and we're talking him up a lot. Like if walker's so good, why is Sam darnold at starter? That's a good question. Yeah. There was a smarter because he was a former first round pick and they traded a bunch to get them. But there were conversations at the end of the preseason that he didn't let me wasn't a walk. I think by the end of the preseason it wasn't a locked Arnold who was gonna start. Like you said, I think they paid that price for him and they had to stardom. But if you go back and you look at what they didn't camp and what they did in the preseason, walker did just as much to win that job as darnold did. You know, I don't know that he's a franchise quarterback because, you know, he's not super accurate from the pocket, but he's, you know he's a solid bridge guy. If you needed a bridge quarterback, if you need a guy to start for a year or you know, you lost your quarterback early in the season. You have a good roster. You still want to try to be competitive. PJ walker is a real NFL quarterback. He is. And darnold might be at least a starting quarterback. I think he can be. Sam darnold might be on his way out of that conversation. PJ walker can play. Yeah, so it's going to be a nearly interesting week of defending PJ walker and I look at some of the game plans that the Patriots have had in the past. Again, some of these mobile quarterbacks and it seemed like when they played Kyler and they played Lamar last year that Bill Belichick finally found a formula that worked against those types of guys where he put Kyle duggar and Adrian Phillips out on the edges as overhang players to kind of force the run back inside and force the quarter back back inside, plus you get put those guys out there instead of some of the bigger linebackers at the Patriots have and those guys are obviously more athletic to bring those guys down and contain a guy like PJ walker. So if the question is, I guess, is how much do the Patriots? How much do the patrons actually fear a guy like PJ walker and do they have, do they feel like they need to go full game plan mode against him like they did last year with Lamar and with Kyler, 'cause if they come out with that sort of same formation where they had to overhang and it was duggar on one side.

"And welcome into a patriots beat after dark edition. It is ten p.m. on the east coast right now. And for full disclosure, I have a wedding this weekend, so we had to tape this at an obscure time. But we are excited to talk patriots Panthers with you folks tonight. Pretty good night for Boston sports so far out to blow out wins for the bruins and the Celtics and the jets are down three touchdowns to the colts, although for playoffs eating, I'm not sure if that's a good thing for the Patriots maybe. We are lost as football fans. If Mike white's going to miss time, the legend Mike white, we all lost not getting to watch him. Yeah, Mike white is injured for the jets. Now two quarterbacks down Josh Johnson is in the game for New York, but we're going to talk about the Patriots here. We're going to talk about some news that we can say that rumors, whatever you want to call it, often on top of the show here. And I know that there's going to be a lot of people in the chat and in the comment section asking us about Desean Jackson Alex. He was released officially by the rams. He has cleared waivers. He is now a free agent set to sign free to sign with any team that he's so chooses. So first and foremost, I guess the main question is is do you like the idea of Desean Jackson coming here and being a New England patriot? And where do you fall on DJs? Yeah, I mean, I'm obviously I'm not getting my hopes up. I don't necessarily think they'll do it, you know, you say this to me all the time. They've had a million chances to quiet this guy and they've never done it. So he is kind of redundant to Nelson Aguilar. He's probably better, but I think they would see him as redundant. So, look, they did it, I'd be happy. I don't know where they get the money to do it. But he are actually no, because the rams are still on the hook for his contract, right? It's what he's. So his contract is now the Patriots are going to have to pay his entire salary if they do sign them. But the points he's already getting paid by the rams. So I would have to go look and see if he got any guaranteed money. I'm sure he did get some guaranteed money in that deal. So yeah, technically speaking he's already been paid for the season in a way. Yeah. I don't think it's going to happen as much as I want to see it as much as I'd be all for it. I think they have Nelson agglo in that role. I think they like him in that role right now and you know, they already have one receiver Nikhil Harry who they can't really get on the field and I just don't think they would see it as having a spot for him. I think it's definitely the redundancy thing with Nelson Aguilar because Desean Jackson's not a Truex, right? If somebody came available of D Jack's caliber, that was a true receiver on the outside. I'd be really interested in that kind of move. But to me, he is a Z or he's a player that's going to play condense to the formation more than he's going to play, truly out on the boundary and be a factor outside the numbers as a deep threat. So in that respect, it sounds a ton like his skill set sounds a ton like Nelson Aguilar skill set..

"You want the cap to go up, right? Yeah, so that's, that's my opinion. And hopefully I laid out why I think like that, It's basically the Patriots have been trying to get as not to go back and they just been getting older this year. They started getting younger and it's just continued to trying to get younger in 2021. They invested ways to do so was to sign players in the 24 25 26 range. Let the guys go who are in their thirties go. Yeah, I agree and even like when we spoke to get up to we just talked about Allen Robinson. He's twenty-eight years old. He feels like he's like thirty two, but he's only 28 years old. But if you're talking about a five-year hundred million dollar for a twenty-eight-year-old receiver, I don't really like them either. You know what I mean? Like cuz you're going to end up paying age 31 32 33 or what-have-you is going to end up being a very expensive year for a receiver. That's probably going to be on the decline at that point them are usually the contracts that the Patriots like to stay away from so I'm glad you clarified that though because I think that there's a lot of mixed signals out there and they don't always have to agree with you but you're always right. So I'm just always wage. I I at least I try to back this stuff up what I'm saying and attacks me up when people say like some guy asked me today like you had sent out the Tweet about the 11 draft picks. Yeah, and I said there's a month. Faded the ones of the Jets and another and the guy asked me ask us again. I thought you wanted yes, but like like like if you're going to say I thought they did something approve it, you know said hey, I was looking at a chart and they they made a trade with the Jets and they traded in to that pick and they traded out of the pick again and I got confused..

"Do it like a first-year number is usually around 30% of the total deal and I want to go from Have my 13 219-222-2224 around those around that. All right, so that's what they do. So so let's say they sign off if you sign the player, let's say to a hundred million dollars. Huh? Allen Robinson. Allen Robinson is probably going to get twenty over. Let's say a hundred million dollars, you might get more than that, but five year at $1,000 if you sign with the Patriots, let's say let's do that 13% of that. Let's just like 13% of that. We thirteen million dollars would be his 2021 cap number. It wouldn't be twenty million dollars. So so that's how the pictures could sign several. Elite players to the deal if they continue with the structure. It's really up to how much cash the Patriots are willing to to allocate this year two thousand this year and I'll say this 2021 is the first year of the three of a the cash spending requirement. Right? Right. They know and I you know, I'm pretty sure they had they had to have met the 89% been requiring for last for the previous four years. Without the most expensive typically the most expensive player on their roster to QB right now is we difficult for the patience to get to that meet that need a spending requirement for the next three years without if they have a rookie deal with a rookie on a quarterback for a frown rookie such thing. So you want to so if they have let's say they exact trade up and get a rookie quarterback, right? He's still be on a rookie deal. Now that you guys still spend cash to read that cash that minimum. That's where you spend the money on on the other place.

"He's obviously been in the news and and been a lot of attention on him and his staff. Moving forward with the Patriots so I wrote all about nikhil today my Patriots game plan, which goes over some of the things that me and Alan discussed about this game on Sunday against the Dolphins whether you want the Patriots to win or lose, you know, so a lot of people want the Patriots to lose at this point better their draft standing a moving forward but Bill Belichick's going to try to win this football game. I can guarantee that he's not going to roll over so we will cover the game. Like they're trying to win. We will have a lot of wall coverage on Sunday from the home base. Unfortunately as we have been all season, but I'm feeling this media. Com on our YouTube channel Patriots, press pass and then we will be back next week on Patriots. Beat to break down Patriots bills Monday Night Football another game against the potential playoff team for New England in the division. This is just weird. It's just weird that it's so backwards at this point for me, but that's the way that's where we're at. And it's it's not a bad thing. Well, the Patriots will get out of it, but it's fun to watch that Dolphins change tonight game. I'm sure it's a great danger everybody else. I'm sure it is and I'm sure he's rolling Islands rolling his eyes at me right now is I'm saying that it's a it's it's I don't like it but it's a great sort of way of looking into it because I'm the Dolphins in the bills at both sort of done a really nice job of kind of rebuilding their teams for the long term and not just building teams that are going to be good. Like they have in the past for maybe a flash, you know for a season or for a stretch of games. These two teams are really building something in there to organizations. And that's what the Patriots we'll obviously be trying to do again Flash Forward. But until then signing off for my guest Allen poop are I'm Adam lazhar. Thanks for listening..

"I thought it was crazy that the past thirteen dolphin matchups dolphin Pat's match up before this one the Patriots were the favorites. That streak is ending this week that the Dolphins are two point favorites. In fact, it's 33 the past 34 think about how crazy that is. And the only time that that wasn't a dolphin's wage favorites before before this week with in 2013. If you remember the Dolphins went 2420 with safety Michael Thomas five days after being signed off the 49ers practice squad intercept Tom Brady in the end zone to seal the win. So that's one of the things I wrote about 2 in the channels are facing a Bill Belichick defense or again. Everything and anything about the Dolphins this week and about this matchup will be on on the website all dolphins on the SI Network. I absolutely believe that and that's why I had Al-Anon because I knew he would deliver the goods and I really appreciate it now and then in terms of the Patriots not being favored in this game. It's a disappointing as a fan but it's obviously, you know justifiable as somebody in an objective Observer and did this game and it's interesting times here in New England to say the least. This is I think even maybe even worth and then some people expected it's even better than other people expected with you know, the year after Tom Brady, so it's kind of following exactly where I think it should fall, you know, when you lose a quarterback of that caliber and you kind of get the reset button on your

"Think this is where we need to start because it's where everybody is starting when we talk about the Patriots and where we're at with Cam Newton right now in terms of the Patriots quarterback of the here-and-now home and also maybe even looking Beyond here and now to the 2021 season even and here in New England you turn on Boston sports radio, and I'm not trying to pick on those guys, but there are definitely talking a lot about Jarrett Stidham and the possibility of benching Cam Newton for Jarrett Stidham. I think they're crazy. But that that's a topic for another day. Mostly I want to focus on what are your opinions right knee about how cam is playing and how he can obviously improve from objectively. What was a very bad game on Sunday against the Cardinals whether you're a chemist and or a cam hater. Yeah, and it wasn't dead. A game against Arizona and Arizona. First of all, I think you have to remember that Arizona's defense is a lot different than Houston's defense. It's a lot different than Seattle's defense back in week to that Houston game. That's you know game those were two games with Jim actually got the passing game going and you felt hey maybe they could put together a passing game that could actually be effective Arizona see on their athletic. They fly all over the place Isaiah Simmons budda Baker. Like they have guys that can play they have some different things and they certainly they were putting an egg nine guys in the box of times. I'm sure having you saw that as well. I know you have from some of the work you've done they were basically dare in New England like go ahead. S game by throwing the football and it looked like they couldn't, you know, they got a couple breaks at the end with a missed field-goal and Isaiah Simmons penalty then put them in position to win, but they didn't win that game because of the passing game, but you know, that often said, I think we all have to sort of take a step back and realize a couple of things one. You mentioned I studied quarterbacks. Each week at USA Today. I have to do what we call a QB camp where I put up five of my quarterback videos of the most notable quarterback performances. There are some weeks friends. It's hard to find five good quarterback package, which is league-wide It's just tough. This is one of those weeks like you might get Baker Mayfield than that because there's just not great quarterback players Patriots fans were spoiled from two decades of Tom Brady where we took the best at the quarterback position weekend and week out but then when you take a step back and you don't have that and you see guys like, you know, Derek Carr and his high variance play or Baker Mayfield in his high variance player. Look at Carson waves, I mean talk about somebody that's regressed. He's regressed all the way back to his senior year at North Dakota State quarterback plays tough. And right now we have a quarterback. That's high variance. Well, that's one thing. I think we need to remember the other is this he came in late in a strange year in the midst of a pandemic with no training camp more minimal training camp. No minicamps. No OTAs, no prestige. James be tough complicated offense to run that has so many different moving parts. You've read The Playbook, you know, Evan every road has like six different variations. I'm trying to do is hard. There are some play books that are easy. It's like oh, yes, this makes sense Bruce Arians Playbook. It's kind of easy. Nothing really changes Josh McDaniels doing the Patriots Playbook. It's like quantum physics for me. Like I I can't figure it out. And so to try to do that in the midst of all this is difficult. So with that context, I think you know, if you want to get into the home Jared versus cam debate. I don't really think there is one because as you pointed out this week on Twitter Bill Belichick has seen Jarrett Stidham now for almost two years. He's seen him every day in practice if Jake was going to be the answer to what fixed to what else is Patriots passing game. Yes, he would play him but he's not so that tells you what you need to know about Jackson them. I was on Jarrett Stidham home. Right before they signed Camp. I remember I wrote the peace and said look Jack said it was a planet quarterback everybody and I'm so glad I snuck in at the ad. Well, look if they could get can do it for cheap short not be great. But Jarod said it was a planet like two weeks later. I signed Cam Newton Cam right now gives them the best chance to win games. Is it through the passing game most weeks? Probably not, you know this week might be a get right opportunity. But if I you know, if for the 2021 season, I still think canvas done enough to earn the chance to win this job with a full complement of training camp preseason, all that stuff of the engine needs to get better at Short of the mechanics break. Absolutely not do they matter. Sometimes they actually do but right now he's the best shot they've got week in and week out to win games.

"Might be one of the best offensive lineman in the best player at his position in maybe you know, two or three seasons down the road. They got an absolute stud in MC. I backed in in the draft last year and the Patriots have really struggled with stopping outside Zone in particular to the strong side of the formation where that tight end can kind of chip John Simon and get him turned inside because for one they haven't really set the edge particularly. Well and for two when they do set the edge and that bounces that run back up the middle Juwan Bentley has not made the tackle. So that's been a big struggle for them. They giving up 5.8 yards-per-carry against outside Zone this month. Which is obviously not very good and then you start to integrate the play-action off of those types of Concepts. So I think there is a game script of cases smart enough to realize these weaknesses. There is a script for them, especially on that opening couple of Series where they could give the Patriots defense and problems with kind of like San Francisco buffalo-style schemes where they're running a lot of outside Zone and a lot of hard play-action off of that. Yeah. I mean, it's it's not hard. I mean, we we watched we've we've watched the Patriots got run over by that one all season long, you know, it's and and you feel bad. I mean I did like you want Bentley, you know the first couple of years. I just feel like he's being overused right now and they're just asking so much of him, you know, and and it doesn't help that you've got, you know, Nick Thurman a practice-squad guy who you know, it's just getting called up. I mean that's that was my big just you know thing this offseason was that you know, everyone made fun of me that I wanted front seven guys that wanted to you know, and I feel like as much as you know, some people say, oh, well, it seems can run all over you but they gotta score points and it's not the end of the world, but it's like I also just wage Your front seven is your team's personality and you know when they're getting pushed around, I mean those those draw the first drive of the first half and the first drive of the second half last week against against the bills where you know, they just took it to them know, you know physicality. I think I believe you post actually like what their missed tackle rate is this year? I mean, it's just it's not Patriots football. It's not what we're used to seeing in any way, you know, you wonder what long situation is..

"I am here with a very special guest. It is Bobby Peters. You can follow him on Twitter at Bobby Orr be underscore Peters 12, I believe is what it is and I just want to let everybody know who Bobby is he writes great books about offensive scheme. He has one out about the Patriots offense and the Forty Niners offense. That's why he's on with me today the Patriots handbook that Bobby sent me though. Seriously, I watched film with it next to me all the time now and use everything in there to identify things and see things that I wouldn't normally see before I read the book. So if you're a Patriots fan that's trying to get into X's and O's definitely pick up Bobby's book on Amazon and now I'll bring him Bobby. What's up Bobby? Not much man. How you doing? I'm doing well and I really do mean dog. Every time I watch tape of the Patriots offense now and they're passing game. I sit there with your book right next to me and every single time. I see something that I recognized from the book. I you know quickly opened to that page and it might need to break down the entire route, you know tree basically entire concept really which is pretty awesome. And these are two of the very best coaches getting into the game now, please. Jaguar Shanahan, it doesn't get much better than this. I would say in McDaniels to and Robert solid. I can throw them all in there two of the best coaching staffs. I would say in the NFL right now, Yeah, I definitely agree. I actually I think I tweeted out probably before the season even started that I had this Sunday circled on my calendar as a as a can't miss game can't mismatch up, you know going back to the Superbowl or the Falcons Patriots Super Bowl, you know, Kyle Shanahan going up against balance check and that defense. I mean just the the the the chess match going on between those coaches and their staffs is it's fun to watch. I wish this was a magic game. Got every year quite honestly, but you know, unfortunately that's how the NFL scheduling works. Yeah, absolutely. So every four years we have to wait for this one..
