"Went to a coaching clinic out in California. That was being run by a bunch of well known coaches at the time among them, Bear Bryant. I've heard that story. Is that an amazing story? It's not. It's it's Marv. Whoa for meal and Bobby Ross and Bobby Ross, right? He was the fourth Bobby Rock. I don't know if it's Bob down off his dick for me, and I think it might have been I can't remember the other jump pretty sure it was different. It might have been, but they go out there and the four those guys It's the last session of the camp and everybody else is left scattered because it was late in the summer, and not everybody started camp and everything. So everything the place evacuated Bear Bryant's going to give this presentation bear freaking Bryant Bear Bryant. And Marv and those three other guys, Bobby. Well, not just three other guys. Bill Walsh crossing international title Challenge Bill washes and all the Super Bowl guys. They're the only four guys in the On the place. So bear. Yeah. Puts his arms around, says Come on down, and he spends the whole day goes. You guys want to do it? We'll do it. And he gave him soup to nuts How to put together a program? Yeah. From top to bottom. Bear Bryant and that and all those four years cool story. I once I had heard it. I was like, Oh, my God. I gotta talk tomorrow, and it lasted that relationship between those five now it lasted for a while. Marv was They were all had a relationship with Barb and Bill Walsh. Coach together it Cal. I want to say you know his dick for a meal. They might all been on that Cal staff. Don't know if it was all the same time. I'll have to look at their bios. But I do wanna share that story with our listeners because it's a great story. I asked my got great feedback when I put it up on Buffalo Bills calm, so it's over 10 years, so a lot of people probably didn't hear it or read it in Marv's descriptions of it, So I want to walk down that Memory lane a little bit, too with Marv when we get him on, in addition to all of the things that we I think a lot of bills fans don't know too much about Marv success in the CFL so well, obviously get into that with him when we talked to him in the next hour and then the final hour of the show. We've got NFL draft analyst John Legend. He also does stuff for the pewter report as he's Ah, he's a writer for and covers the box who just came off a Super Bowl winning season. But he also his roots are in the NFL draft, and we'll talk to him about that. And I'm curious to see what he thinks about the A F. C East landscape as it pertains to the draft. Now that free agency is kind of fallen by the wayside, and the main focus is the draft. Bills obviously have two teams in their division and the Dolphins and the Jets, who are armed with a pair of first round draft choices. And so, you know, looking at that. How could they Effectively try to close the gap on the bills armed with the draft capital that those two teams now possess, and then, to a lesser extent, the New England Patriots, who many feel may try to trade up to land right future franchise quarterback. I think they're really it's really intriguing to watch the Patriots and what they've done. Obviously they are Looking at their season last year, and there Unhappy to say the least. And they are any. Almost when you get you see the market how, and they've been criticized for this isn't just me talking. When you look at the market, how to free agency transpired across the NFL. Most people will tell you that Patriots jumped really high for some guys that maybe they didn't He jump that high for particularly wide receiver. Not so much the tight end guys a lot of money those They paid a lot of money early on, right, and it was a really subdued free agency period. Although a lot of guys moved there were some trade's happening. The market financially was repressed. I think a little bit was. I think it was down the lid was down off financially for it, and they got kind of criticized. That's the only reason people did is because they thought they paid too much for the guys they got and The considered conjecture, is it It's a reaction to what they did last year in the regular season, the record they had, they're going to get back into it, and that's it. They're going to do it and Which sets him up for this draft, like OK, Are they really in that mentality? Let's see it. Are they going to trade up? Are they going to get a guy? That's a difference maker in the first round? Are they going to do something to get a guy tow? Understudy. Cam Cam Newton at quarterback. Are they gonna get that guy to sit in Hannah's a bridge or they're gonna use? Yeah, There's Cam Newton become a bridge quarterback for a guy they're gonna grab in this draft. I mean, it's a really intriguing prospect in the chance. To get some insight into what they're thinking. So we will talk to John Legend about that in the third hour program about an hour and 45 minutes from now, and we are officially in countdown mode, Steve. I know in days away, they 2021 NFL draft live from Cleveland. Hi. I'm kind of banks of Lake area kind of happy It's in Cleveland. You are? Yeah, just you know, I'm I know you They're going to do it for first of all, but cleaning seems it's It's close enough that you know you could go down if you wanted to. But I think some bills fans will do that. Yeah, I think they will It Zen, close enough proximity that they will certainly do the club. Every club is the bills or send the bills themselves are sending some 1st 1st responders down to represent the club in the fan base. Each team gets to send 10 tenants. Well, that was 12 12. I don't know something like that. Well, something like that. And so they're sending him down And that's gonna be great. I just I think it's going to save that energy. When you have the fans there. I think it's going to see that thing that we're all experiencing right now. That little thing is like, Oh, yeah. I remember what it used to be like me. It's not gonna Billy hands booing, right? It's not gonna be like that. But you're gonna get it. We've all been there like Oh, yeah. Wouldn't it be nice if it was the old days, you know? I think that's going to give us a big glimpse into one more moment of that mindset, right? And with that in mind, our Twitter poll today deals with that very subject. The draft is 16 days away. You may have for gotten with a virtual draft last year. Is it didn't quite measure up to what it usually was, although they did a pretty good job in light of the circumstances, But the Twitter poll today What's the best part of the NFL draft for you? And why we have choices for you, but you can always pick other if there's something else that really gets you going and juiced up for the NFL draft, But the choices are a following or doing mock draft. Be Your team landing possible top talent. See Draft day trades or D something else and out in front here in the early going is your team landing top talent, and I mean that's really what it is Steve. The draft is all about hope. For the future of your franchise. I mean, these are potential building blocks. For your team. You know, corner stone type players, especially on day one and day two. It's it is the it's hope with a capital H. Yeah, for bills fans. I'm sure other fan base is kind of feel a little bit like this. The Bills fans I mean, it's a part of your like adopting a son. You know, I mean, it's really I mean, this could be You know another Josh Tremaine today? Venus, Bruce. Jim Thurman on all these guys that go by one name in buffalo, right? I mean, that's who they're gonna get. It's another and that's pretty exciting for building and I get it. But it's big for bills, fans getting that guy that you're gonna know. And you're gonna be able to talk to your friends about with one word. What Josh do You know how? Josh, look. What did you see today? Did you see Trade? A Get the pick. Did you see? Did you see Tremaine knock that pastor. Do you see the sack or whatever, and I think the appeal of the draft. Will always be there. But I think it's there for different reasons now for bills fans than it used to be because during the drought The draft. Steve was essentially the Super Bowl. Oh yeah of the football calendar year for bills, fans and a lot of other teams that could not get to the playoffs. This was your This was your marquee event because it was it was your it was pinning your hopes. On what you wanted to believe We're going to be better days going forward if the team made the right decisions and how to construct or in the bills case during the drought, reconstruct their roster and Now It's different, though..

Is New England Patriots GM Bill Belichick in the hot seat?
"Bill belichick may be the most winningest coach in the nfl. But after the patriots finished last season with a losing record. While you know at the same time seeing mr tom brady capturing number seven with the buffs former. Nfl linebacker lavar. Arrington says he believes now must prove he can win without brady saying quote. That seat is warmer. Bill belichick in that might sound crazy for some people but bill. Belichick has to have a good season this year. And you know why because there are whispers. It was tom it was always. Tom couldn't have been anything else. But tom and bill belichick has to show before he gets too far away from tom. Brady leaving that. It was not tom brady that it was in fact and indeed. The system of bill belichick built in new

"To stay away from those guys and i don't trust us snag. Laura by any stretch. Kendrick bourne sells a lot to prove so myers the only one that i looked for. But i'll look for late. I don't want to really trust any of the patriots. Pass captors after what i saw last year and still the expectations of not necessarily being the best pastor at this point in his career he still has a lot to prove at least for me. I'm hopeful i think he'll do things with his legs. But not something that. I'm going to be targeting from passing down perspective for the patriots offense all right. Let's get into what we were supposed to talk about today. Which is the bounce back candidates. Stephen adam gave us a list here of some guys that have some bounce back potential. But i don't know you guys got into this yesterday. But i'll ask you this dave. I'll start with you heat. You can follow. What's your definition of bounce back candidate bounce back candidates a guy who had a down year year before who you expect to rebound not necessarily be better by ten percent guy that has seven hundred fifty yards and he gets eight hundred and fifty yards next year. You're not gonna say oh is about spek year. That's not enough. You need to have a bigger year. Adam feeling last year had a bounceback year in two thousand and nineteen total disappointment. Twenty twenty scored. A lot of touchdowns really came back to being fantasy. relevant will fuller the willfuller. Basically you could say. He had a breakout year because he had that number one receiver role in houston and he did a great job with it to me. That's about spec a guy that's coming off a down year. Who has got a chance to really step up and help fantasy managers the following year and we thought about this because adam has no definition of a candidate. Someone who's going to be better than they were last year. I think I think the. I think the key distinction is someone who was good or very good before last year. Who wasn't as good last year. Who we think we will be good or very good again. How much injury. Play a part in that. Because i think that's something a lot of people look at and say okay. This guy was great. For example. Twenty nine thousand nine hundred suffered through some injuries and twenty twenty has a chance to be great again in two thousand twenty one. Let's say george kittle. for example. Who was awesome..

Robert Kraft Gives Honest Assessment of Patriots Drafting
"Heard from Robert Kraft yesterday was a man who was completely honest about where the the team is in a lot of different areas. I wouldn't will get into this but I don't think his quarterback comments were Something to really weigh in heavily on but I do think that overall I mean him talking about, you know, the draft specifically the personality just sound thrilled with having to Shell out as much money as he did and he basically admitted that the only reason they had to do that cuz they didn't draft well in recent years and and he committed what a lot of us have said where it's not sustainable to do that. You need the draft to be the lifeblood of your team so that you can do other things like you can't just every three years song ten free agents. It just it it's probably not going to happen be it's not economically feasible. And so I thought it was very refreshing for Robert to to talk to the assemblage yesterday and and really be honest and I think you know in judging from the comments at Boston Sports Journal com from my column off of this press conference wage. Think on a whole I thought the Patriots the Patriots fans reacted very well to it that are really like, okay. Well, at least now we know that the person in charge realizes is a isn't happy about it called last season horrible and B thinks that the team has made correction and is moving in the right direction. That's all anybody ever wanted to to hear from anybody at at one page place and they heard it from Craft and I think it made Patriot Nation breathe a little bit easier. Not that they weren't confident in Bill Belichick rebounding in any event, but I just think it reinforced that. All right. Well, we're still the Patriots thought we had a we had an off-year didn't go well we're going to correct things were going to get things back on track.
Kraft Admits Patriots Are Not Perfect
"Kraft speaking some truth Greg about the 2020 season and how the team got to this point. Yeah, I thought it was really refreshing Nick. I thought that you know, look the only person I understand how the Patriots are set up and I don't disagree with the way the Patriots are set up that page during the football season bills the one who talks for the football organization and I get it. I don't disagree with it, but it's a little bit problematic when off season is going down the tubes and you're not getting any real answers from the chief executive of the football team like this past season with Belichick. He basically deflected everything off at defensive about any questions. Look he's in charge of the team. I understand pointed comments about say there. Their inability to draft. Well the past couple of years wouldn't exactly reflect. Well on the players, he's currently trying to coach but there is a way to say what everybody wants said without saying it and Bill just decides to do things the quickest way possible the easy way possible. I understand why he does it I'm not going to I'm not criticizing him for it. But it it does cause problems when the team looks like it's floundering off where we going. What is the direction things like that? And no one's answering any questions directly and what I heard from Robert Kraft yesterday was a man who was completely honest about where the the team is in a lot of different areas.

Miami Beach braces for new spring break visitors
"Is the start of another spring break weekend in south florida and miami beach which has grabbed headlines for out of control crowds for weeks is bracing for another influx of tourists and possibly trouble. What i've been observing. The last few weeks is a lot of people crowding on ocean drive. Which is the main strip full of art deco hotels parallel to the beach. Veronica's is reporter with w. l. r. n. The public radio station for miami and south florida. It's been really crowded by for much of this time. It's been peaceful just a lot of people that perhaps would raise your eye brows because of the potential for the coronavirus to spread in fact. Bronco lives within walking distance of ocean drive. She says locals. Miami are mostly used to the partying. Everybody who lives in. Miami beach has to have a tolerance for tourism. Because that is the lifeline of the city and it's a city that welcomes but this year. Ronca says something changed. I have spoken to locals. Who felt that This is just it was too much. There have been businesses that shutdown that they didn't feel that they're patriots or the staff would be safe. Even businesses used to serving rowdy partners or saying what was going on in south beach was just too much for them one of them. The cleveland is a a party. Venue that's extremely popular on ocean drive in. They close down on friday and that that just kind of made people feel like maybe this is getting out of hand that really rattled. Locals are people from south florida
Three-Time Super Bowl Champion James White Re-Signing With Patriots
"About the real world. Now Greg a couple of big re-signings yesterday. I think both of them to me was a you know, they were a surprise I do not expect James White to be back. I thought that ship had sailed. Apparently, it had not white back on a one-year deal about 2 and 1/2 2 and 1/2 months guaranteed your thoughts on that decision by white and that decision by the Patriots. Yeah. I was I was a little bit surprised by this everything that I had heard up till now I pointed to White going to Florida where his mom is still I think recovering from the car accident that she had in September with her husband James bit dead or he he died as a result of his injuries. And so that was a pretty traumatic thing for him all year. And and there were a lot of people around the NFL who thought he was destined first from Miami, but then it looks like that was dead. Happened for some reason I think and we've sort of talked about this Nick in in. Oh, I know I talked about on felger & Mazz a got the south Florida media all abuzz, you know people are calling me and you know throwing bombs and things like that, but from what I've heard, let's just say that the a lot of Patriots are not getting good feedback on what's going on with the dolphins and really revealing around a lot of people is if you end up with the dolphins, you're straight going for the bag and Adam Butler I think signed with them this year probably was his best offer. I think Al and Roberts just signed back. I don't know how many offers he had butt off, you know, we'd really didn't hear James his name with the dolphins very much during this free agency. There was a there was a hint at it early on and then from what I heard dead. White was basically signed sealed and delivered to the Box because that's what Brady wanted and Brady

Because he's the one who's updating every day with the number of masseuses who are charging accusing deshaun watson of inappropriate behavior. But but but two things two things here. He gives all this advice florio and it's reasonable. He said he'd sit down and try to get all the women or their representative in a room to make one big settlement trying to make it all. Go away with one big paycheck that they could and they clearly are looking for that because they're not having gone to the cops which brings me to point number two and end to the point where they try to basically extort him out of thirty one of them tried to extort him out of thirty grand in january. I believe i'm not sure that's extortion. If you're saying will agree not to charge you and these are hard working people at working class girls. Maybe who and by way are people like julia to cairo in on people like Niece smelly they waiting to see what race these women are. Because they haven't had much to say about this yet. But i assume they are. They going to wait and see what race they are and then they decide how they feel about it. Which is madness.
Is Cam Newton Ready to be Patriots Quarterback?
"The biggest question of all and of course, I'm talking about Cam Newton Cam Newton ready to be the quarterback for this team or false pause, as of today. It's false and I wrote a column this weekend for Boston Sports Journal, that basically laid out and I'm talking to different people both around the team and also around the league about where Cam is and there's three things that need to go on Nick and it needs to go on now and it needs to go on every day off of the day until the season kicks off and number one. It's cam has to lose weight. He can't he can't play a 250 anymore. He's not a young buck. We saw dead. You know, I thought this but it was confirmed by a couple of NFL people that I I talked to and I trust they said that cams legs got heavier as the season went on and off and run as much he wasn't as a as Elusive and the big thing is not only that but your legs are everything when you throw the ball, if you don't have your legs which you did earlier in the season, they threw the ball a little bit better. If you don't have your legs then you have nothing as far as power and things like that and also just accuracy if you don't have your legs then you have to compensate upper body and things just get all out of whack and that's what happened. When cam last year. So in cam I will give him credit on the I am athlete podcast. He did say, I think he was trying to lose ten pounds. I'd go less. I think he needs to get to 3235. I think that gives them a better chance to be sustainable. He doesn't he doesn't need to be 2:50 to run over linebackers anymore. There aren't that many linebackers that are 2:50 a.m. Should be in a business and his age are going to be 32 a plow on those guys over. So there's that there is he has to get into he he has a he has to get with her own coach. I hope he's working with one but he better be working on one that works on his mechanics all the time every day. Get back to where he was at the beginning of last season get it out of her system because he needs to learn how to just be able to flick the ball. Ten yards instead of making a whole body convulsion just to get the ball out in the last thing is the biggest thing Nick and we've talked about it. I thought is he needs he needs Express 24-hour premium tutoring on the Patriots Playbook and what goes on as far as all right. If the defense does this then I can change to this and what's my audible what's my check because I know everybody's all excited about Johnny Smith and Hunter Henry and you know, we you can also factor in The athletic fullbacks that they've wanted to have for two years. Dan Vitality is coming back supposedly and also they dropped adult and Keen to play that position because there's a choice that they want to be more like the 49ers with use checked. And so it's all nice and dandy that they have two tight ends and athletic fullback and people are absolutely right to say that benefit of that is you get match up issues where all right, if it's safety then we're just going to run over them if their linebackers then we're just going to run past them. We're going to throw the ball. That is great and all but it doesn't mean Jack if you don't have a quarterback who can't see the defense see what's going on check to the right play and take advantage of the defense and last year cam wasn't even close to that. So unless all those things happen and he's not there at this point. He is not ready to be the starting quarterback for the for the Patriots. Do I think he can get there and be better? Yeah, but we'll have to see.
Raiders make surprise pick in latest Mel Kiper Jr. mock draft
"Mock draft three point. Oh is available on. Espn plus right. Now and here. We go no surprise at the top. Trevor lawrence has been there and we'll be there for the moment and started to the moment. That pig is made. He's going jacksonville. And that's not going to change at number. Two mel projects the jets to stay put and select quarterback zach wilson who would be the team's highest drafted quarterback since they took joe nemeth thousand nine hundred sixty five at number three. We have a trade that panthers would move up from number eight to select justin fields from ohio state carolina getting its quarterback of the future miami. Picking up more prime picks. And the falcons make it four for four to begin the draft selecting their quarterback of the future trae lanes. Should it go this way. It would be the first time ever that quarterbacks go with each of the first four picks in the draft. We take a look at the rest of mel's top ten. After the four consecutive quarterbacks we see some other names you will get to know. Kyle pitch superstar tight end. More pass catchers jamarcus devante smith jail waddell notably absent on this screen. Max jones the fifth quarterback in this first round the star from alabama who mel projects. Going number fifteen to the new england patriots and let's start there because mel we spoke about this the last time you broke this down for us. You had max jones going considerably higher namely number eight overall. Why do you see this drop. Greenwich carolina eight with matt rule had max jones at the senior bowl practices where he was exceptional right. So you figure carolina's stuck at eight. They would look at mack. Jones new england and fifteen is built. Bellichik nick sabin connection and obviously looking at a quarterback to get back to. Maybe the tom brady days. Okay get your that type of quarterback which is what mack jones is his style and the way he goes about his business as a pocket passer so once carolina in my mach three point. Zero was moving up to get justin field. Mack jones next opportunity to come off. The board for me would be new england at fifteen.

"Really prototypical Patriot type of player Patrick Stewart is probably going to be a top ten top 15 pick but he's definitely a patriot type of corner, press 15 to 25. Maybe. I don't know. It depends on who you ask for. Now on Caleb Farley has a lot of people dead. Spooning as well because of his athleticism. But either way he's going to be in the top ten top fifteen of the NFL draft JC horn I think is another guy who might be the most physical Corner in the entire draft, right? He plays a really physical brand of football both against the past and in run support he can tackle he can really play press man coverage. He's got fluidity. He's got all the man coverage skills in the world that you're going to want to stop all skills is. Lengths. He went to South Carolina just like Gilmore, right? You know there there's a lot of things that he resembles in a patriot type of corner as well. So there are guys in the draft especially at first round conversation at fifteen that the value is going to be there and the skill set and the translation into the Patriots defense is 100% going to be there now. None of us really want our closing time for the Patriots to take the corner in the first round necessarily, but if they lose a guy like Gilmore, they need to have somebody in that spot that can start and play productively right away. You can't really go off. With all let's see what happens with Joanne Williams at that spot or let's put Jason McCourty there at that spot of his age. I think that's a losing proposition. So somebody next to the other side of Jesse Jackson may be a ready tailor-made corner and I think it's there's a bunch of options in the first round there that I just mentioned. I don't know if Farley is necessarily their type of guy. He's pretty raw but Patrick's aren't and JC horn in particular two guys that definitely check a lot of boxes for the Patriots. Yeah. And I mean, I it's an interesting point about Gallup you kind of just trade one need for another I I'm still you know, I think they can get a first-round pick them trading in to the top fifteen within they're not going to do that. But again a team like the Packers that the windows so small, what does that first round pick really do for them right by the time that guys ready to go off is Aaron Rodgers even still there? Okay. So like I look at that and I think it just makes all the sense in the world for them to bring in a veteran. There's not a ton they can do with that pic. I know you have to figure out the cap side of it but the dog As Belichick lights to say can be maneuvered so I'm not I don't know like if you trade for a guy like Michael Gallup, right who you just brought up.

"Ready to say it rules out a quarterback with a premium pick it lessens the odds but it's certainly doesn't rule it out. Yeah, I would agree with everything that you said. I think the big thing that came from this report was that they do want to show some that they have of more united front most of more stability in that position and they don't want to go like you said into July without a quarterback because that we saw what it was last year. We saw how difficult it was not only for the player and Cam Newton to get up to speed and getting ready for the season with the Patriots. But also we know that if they're kind of sitting there and they have stood him on the roster and they don't really have a quarterback going into dropped weekend. No free agents going to want to sign here with that being the plan with it. So up in the air so they do want some stability at that spot. And to me that really doesn't speak to it. We're going to talk about some of the guys that maybe they could they could pull in before free agency really gets Undead. Play but to me that speaks to Cam Newton again, which is something that re said last week as well. We talked about it last week. You know, I reported the door is not closed on Cam Newton race kind of said something similar. Then he comes this week and says they want to get this done early in free agency to start attracting free agents. I'm not necessarily saying Cam Newton attracts free agents, but there are some stability there at the position. It was a guy that they had here last year and I think the other thing that which is a big element for it to me with the draft is that it doesn't rule out the fact that maybe they don't Mac Jones to me is the type of guy for instance. That is pretty Pro ready, right? He's been at Alabama. He's played started there for almost into two full seasons..

"You want the cap to go up, right? Yeah, so that's, that's my opinion. And hopefully I laid out why I think like that, It's basically the Patriots have been trying to get as not to go back and they just been getting older this year. They started getting younger and it's just continued to trying to get younger in 2021. They invested ways to do so was to sign players in the 24 25 26 range. Let the guys go who are in their thirties go. Yeah, I agree and even like when we spoke to get up to we just talked about Allen Robinson. He's twenty-eight years old. He feels like he's like thirty two, but he's only 28 years old. But if you're talking about a five-year hundred million dollar for a twenty-eight-year-old receiver, I don't really like them either. You know what I mean? Like cuz you're going to end up paying age 31 32 33 or what-have-you is going to end up being a very expensive year for a receiver. That's probably going to be on the decline at that point them are usually the contracts that the Patriots like to stay away from so I'm glad you clarified that though because I think that there's a lot of mixed signals out there and they don't always have to agree with you but you're always right. So I'm just always wage. I I at least I try to back this stuff up what I'm saying and attacks me up when people say like some guy asked me today like you had sent out the Tweet about the 11 draft picks. Yeah, and I said there's a month. Faded the ones of the Jets and another and the guy asked me ask us again. I thought you wanted yes, but like like like if you're going to say I thought they did something approve it, you know said hey, I was looking at a chart and they they made a trade with the Jets and they traded in to that pick and they traded out of the pick again and I got confused..

"Do it like a first-year number is usually around 30% of the total deal and I want to go from Have my 13 219-222-2224 around those around that. All right, so that's what they do. So so let's say they sign off if you sign the player, let's say to a hundred million dollars. Huh? Allen Robinson. Allen Robinson is probably going to get twenty over. Let's say a hundred million dollars, you might get more than that, but five year at $1,000 if you sign with the Patriots, let's say let's do that 13% of that. Let's just like 13% of that. We thirteen million dollars would be his 2021 cap number. It wouldn't be twenty million dollars. So so that's how the pictures could sign several. Elite players to the deal if they continue with the structure. It's really up to how much cash the Patriots are willing to to allocate this year two thousand this year and I'll say this 2021 is the first year of the three of a the cash spending requirement. Right? Right. They know and I you know, I'm pretty sure they had they had to have met the 89% been requiring for last for the previous four years. Without the most expensive typically the most expensive player on their roster to QB right now is we difficult for the patience to get to that meet that need a spending requirement for the next three years without if they have a rookie deal with a rookie on a quarterback for a frown rookie such thing. So you want to so if they have let's say they exact trade up and get a rookie quarterback, right? He's still be on a rookie deal. Now that you guys still spend cash to read that cash that minimum. That's where you spend the money on on the other place.

"Because i thought he looked a little bit faster. I thought that he looked a little bit. More confident out there in the weeks before that banded for him against buffalo that now as a disaster of a game. And like you said i think there were flashes against the ramsey. Hit that stuttering. Golly highpoint of the ball. He ran another stuttering go. It should have been pass interference. It went on called but there were those like two flashes where maybe this could be something to build on. It didn't go back to it and like you said he just doesn't have the speed four or five to the again vo combine which is fast enough for receiver his size. You think that defenses saying this guy is six three to twenty runs four five local five. You should be a vertical threat leads. We have two game plan for that but they're not respecting it and like you said it's affecting the intermediate underneath concepts of the offense because he's not a threat vertically the guy who in the nfl right now who really think nicole harris best case scenario right now is mike williams of the charters because he is another low four five guy big dig body but his contested catch ability is just out of his world but it's also high points as when a guy's on his hip it's along the boundary it's getting horizontal his catchphrases so expanded that defenses have to respect it and then they're now pushing vertical on him and allowing kia now and get underneath. Maybe that can be what the patriots have harry and meyers on a maybe a slightly smaller scale but it has to come from kyo harry waning more consistently at least aiding enough separation learning how to use his hands and create separation late in the catch process. Small things like that that might williams does than akil. Harry has has an input on tape to get defensive now respect his ability to get article instill be able to win when they're when they're respecting your ability downfield..

"This offseason. If he's going to retire. Even as jason mccourty who i think there's mccourty is Some patriots fans of definitely soured on him very quickly. I i don't know what your thoughts are on him brad but he's he's kinda serviceable but he's obviously not an impact player. So i think i would be in that camp that have kinda soured on him in the past year and really. I don't think it's any fault of his own other than the fact that he's now i think thirty three years old and for a lot of corners some corners retire thirty one game at thirty years old. And it's kind of what happens in their early thirties position last year. He went for giving up zero touchdowns and less than ten yards a catch to this year. Giving up fifteen yards per catch and five touchdowns with no interceptions so is production. Hasn't been there has been thrown into a few games as as boundary starting corner role where Because of injuries. And that's been that's a little unfair to him. He should be more of better role of maybe buying inside depending on the match up to get the particular match up for him. But i think as far as you look at the depth of of position with the patriots. You get more jesse jackson. But even beyond that the of johnson jones miles. Brian has Thanks far as death goes. They could sustain a loss of jason mccourty. I would want to retire. I don't want him to play for another team because he's only been here for three years the fact that he's devon's twain and it kind of feels like he's always he's always kinda been a patriot or patriots favorite. I don't want him to that. You might as well see him. Retire and i can remember the days and that playing super bowl and i don't have to see him play for the jets next year on energy bill rate. And when you look at cornerback specifically i feel like when guys are in the vicinity of the past but never actually breaking any passes up or intercepting any passes. I usually hands. So maybe they've lost a half a step. I don't think. I think he can run with guys still. But he'd just isn't making those kind of explosive finishes on the ball. And that's something that i think that you look at it and you say okay was. He wasn't necessarily all ever jc jackson or safai. You'll more type. That was always you know getting their hands on the football anyways but he was doing it more often than not earlier on in his career. It compared to what he's doing now. So i think that's where you can see a clear. Drop it that production as you mentioned. Discount waiting off and every time is targeted. It seems like he's in the area aries kid competitive of in in the. It's not like he's getting beat by ten yards or anything like that but he's just not able to kind of finish the play at the catch point or or a really stave off the receiver when all your on his direction and quite the way that you like. And i think that there's a really good chance in a good argument for playing doin williams or a miles. Brian's and you have jonathan jones miles bryant on the inside maybe john williams is a guy that can kind of wake up here and you're three of his career. Maybe not maybe hands a fussing. There's also a very good possibility. That bill belichick address cornerback early in the draft as much as that might hurt some patriots fans that that's where we're headed is preparing now especially traits defined gilmore..

"He's obviously been in the news and and been a lot of attention on him and his staff. Moving forward with the Patriots so I wrote all about nikhil today my Patriots game plan, which goes over some of the things that me and Alan discussed about this game on Sunday against the Dolphins whether you want the Patriots to win or lose, you know, so a lot of people want the Patriots to lose at this point better their draft standing a moving forward but Bill Belichick's going to try to win this football game. I can guarantee that he's not going to roll over so we will cover the game. Like they're trying to win. We will have a lot of wall coverage on Sunday from the home base. Unfortunately as we have been all season, but I'm feeling this media. Com on our YouTube channel Patriots, press pass and then we will be back next week on Patriots. Beat to break down Patriots bills Monday Night Football another game against the potential playoff team for New England in the division. This is just weird. It's just weird that it's so backwards at this point for me, but that's the way that's where we're at. And it's it's not a bad thing. Well, the Patriots will get out of it, but it's fun to watch that Dolphins change tonight game. I'm sure it's a great danger everybody else. I'm sure it is and I'm sure he's rolling Islands rolling his eyes at me right now is I'm saying that it's a it's it's I don't like it but it's a great sort of way of looking into it because I'm the Dolphins in the bills at both sort of done a really nice job of kind of rebuilding their teams for the long term and not just building teams that are going to be good. Like they have in the past for maybe a flash, you know for a season or for a stretch of games. These two teams are really building something in there to organizations. And that's what the Patriots we'll obviously be trying to do again Flash Forward. But until then signing off for my guest Allen poop are I'm Adam lazhar. Thanks for listening..

"I thought it was crazy that the past thirteen dolphin matchups dolphin Pat's match up before this one the Patriots were the favorites. That streak is ending this week that the Dolphins are two point favorites. In fact, it's 33 the past 34 think about how crazy that is. And the only time that that wasn't a dolphin's wage favorites before before this week with in 2013. If you remember the Dolphins went 2420 with safety Michael Thomas five days after being signed off the 49ers practice squad intercept Tom Brady in the end zone to seal the win. So that's one of the things I wrote about 2 in the channels are facing a Bill Belichick defense or again. Everything and anything about the Dolphins this week and about this matchup will be on on the website all dolphins on the SI Network. I absolutely believe that and that's why I had Al-Anon because I knew he would deliver the goods and I really appreciate it now and then in terms of the Patriots not being favored in this game. It's a disappointing as a fan but it's obviously, you know justifiable as somebody in an objective Observer and did this game and it's interesting times here in New England to say the least. This is I think even maybe even worth and then some people expected it's even better than other people expected with you know, the year after Tom Brady, so it's kind of following exactly where I think it should fall, you know, when you lose a quarterback of that caliber and you kind of get the reset button on your

"Think this is where we need to start because it's where everybody is starting when we talk about the Patriots and where we're at with Cam Newton right now in terms of the Patriots quarterback of the here-and-now home and also maybe even looking Beyond here and now to the 2021 season even and here in New England you turn on Boston sports radio, and I'm not trying to pick on those guys, but there are definitely talking a lot about Jarrett Stidham and the possibility of benching Cam Newton for Jarrett Stidham. I think they're crazy. But that that's a topic for another day. Mostly I want to focus on what are your opinions right knee about how cam is playing and how he can obviously improve from objectively. What was a very bad game on Sunday against the Cardinals whether you're a chemist and or a cam hater. Yeah, and it wasn't dead. A game against Arizona and Arizona. First of all, I think you have to remember that Arizona's defense is a lot different than Houston's defense. It's a lot different than Seattle's defense back in week to that Houston game. That's you know game those were two games with Jim actually got the passing game going and you felt hey maybe they could put together a passing game that could actually be effective Arizona see on their athletic. They fly all over the place Isaiah Simmons budda Baker. Like they have guys that can play they have some different things and they certainly they were putting an egg nine guys in the box of times. I'm sure having you saw that as well. I know you have from some of the work you've done they were basically dare in New England like go ahead. S game by throwing the football and it looked like they couldn't, you know, they got a couple breaks at the end with a missed field-goal and Isaiah Simmons penalty then put them in position to win, but they didn't win that game because of the passing game, but you know, that often said, I think we all have to sort of take a step back and realize a couple of things one. You mentioned I studied quarterbacks. Each week at USA Today. I have to do what we call a QB camp where I put up five of my quarterback videos of the most notable quarterback performances. There are some weeks friends. It's hard to find five good quarterback package, which is league-wide It's just tough. This is one of those weeks like you might get Baker Mayfield than that because there's just not great quarterback players Patriots fans were spoiled from two decades of Tom Brady where we took the best at the quarterback position weekend and week out but then when you take a step back and you don't have that and you see guys like, you know, Derek Carr and his high variance play or Baker Mayfield in his high variance player. Look at Carson waves, I mean talk about somebody that's regressed. He's regressed all the way back to his senior year at North Dakota State quarterback plays tough. And right now we have a quarterback. That's high variance. Well, that's one thing. I think we need to remember the other is this he came in late in a strange year in the midst of a pandemic with no training camp more minimal training camp. No minicamps. No OTAs, no prestige. James be tough complicated offense to run that has so many different moving parts. You've read The Playbook, you know, Evan every road has like six different variations. I'm trying to do is hard. There are some play books that are easy. It's like oh, yes, this makes sense Bruce Arians Playbook. It's kind of easy. Nothing really changes Josh McDaniels doing the Patriots Playbook. It's like quantum physics for me. Like I I can't figure it out. And so to try to do that in the midst of all this is difficult. So with that context, I think you know, if you want to get into the home Jared versus cam debate. I don't really think there is one because as you pointed out this week on Twitter Bill Belichick has seen Jarrett Stidham now for almost two years. He's seen him every day in practice if Jake was going to be the answer to what fixed to what else is Patriots passing game. Yes, he would play him but he's not so that tells you what you need to know about Jackson them. I was on Jarrett Stidham home. Right before they signed Camp. I remember I wrote the peace and said look Jack said it was a planet quarterback everybody and I'm so glad I snuck in at the ad. Well, look if they could get can do it for cheap short not be great. But Jarod said it was a planet like two weeks later. I signed Cam Newton Cam right now gives them the best chance to win games. Is it through the passing game most weeks? Probably not, you know this week might be a get right opportunity. But if I you know, if for the 2021 season, I still think canvas done enough to earn the chance to win this job with a full complement of training camp preseason, all that stuff of the engine needs to get better at Short of the mechanics break. Absolutely not do they matter. Sometimes they actually do but right now he's the best shot they've got week in and week out to win games.

"So it's great to watch a defense that has it again. You mentioned that you Don and Bowser and losing those guys in free agency. If I was a Patriots fan, I would write both of those names down right now because I guess those guys would fit extremely well there needs here as kind of strong-side wage. Fenders definitely would be in the in the conversation and free agency for New England. The last question. I wanted to ask will just one more point the one that you mentioned about throwing to the outside that I think is interesting is I was watching Jimmy Smith is a fantastic football player. He doesn't even play all the time, right cuz Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters take a lot of those snaps but a lot of the time in that Pittsburgh game and specifically then try to throw it to the outside maybe on the back side of your head or something and Jimmy Smith is just like all over it every single time, especially as a cover to Corner that guy's really good football player for a long time that I don't think it's a lot of Pub because he's not, you know, big-name Corner necessarily, but he's been doing it for a long time. I wanted to talk to you about Humphrey as well the Patriots educopia Myers. I'm sure you heard about it on Thursday night had sort of a break out game yet 269 receiving yards against the Jets. This is going to be a good matchup. I think Humphrey he's going to he's going to be healthy. I think right for this game and is probably going to draw. Jacobean coverage. Should they do shadowing in my opinion? It'll be left cornerback. Right? Cornerback. Peters is very comfortable on that shoulder. So I don't think they'll Shadow Myers. Okay, gotcha. Okay, so but Humphrey does place to slot, correct? Okay. So Humphrey would play on the slot if they had three corners. They did this week acquire Tramon Williams. The X Green Bay corner is now thirty seven but was a pretty terrific slockbower last year still so there's some question as to whether he would play slot or not. Jimmy Smith has had been moved into this basically every down roll again as a as a third cornerback even before Humphrey got hurt absolutely every down when Humphrey was was I sorry on Tramon Williams might be a guy this week who see snaps and might be a guy to cover him in the slot and okay. Well, I'll be really interesting matchup to me because listen no offense to the jet pack not exactly the best secondary in the NFL. So I'm really fascinated to see how Jacoby does against some really good corners and and Baltimore. This is if you can put up numbers against Humphrey and back doors and and Williams and Smith in this group and the Patriots might have something Brewing here. Do they do the Patriots have anybody who's a fumbler among their receivers a fumbler among their receivers? Well, the if a girl Harry plays he's had a fumble early on in the season where he was kind of reaching for the goal line and the ball came out early, but I wouldn't say that they have any guys that are obvious from those Ryan Fridays are there tight end had a fumble after he made a cat she turned upfield to run and got the ball punched out but the Patriots receivers as a whole I would say, I mean, obviously, you know that they're they're very limited group in terms of Tampa. Really in general but I would say as a whole the biggest thing with the Patriots receivers. That's the biggest issue..

"Might be one of the best offensive lineman in the best player at his position in maybe you know, two or three seasons down the road. They got an absolute stud in MC. I backed in in the draft last year and the Patriots have really struggled with stopping outside Zone in particular to the strong side of the formation where that tight end can kind of chip John Simon and get him turned inside because for one they haven't really set the edge particularly. Well and for two when they do set the edge and that bounces that run back up the middle Juwan Bentley has not made the tackle. So that's been a big struggle for them. They giving up 5.8 yards-per-carry against outside Zone this month. Which is obviously not very good and then you start to integrate the play-action off of those types of Concepts. So I think there is a game script of cases smart enough to realize these weaknesses. There is a script for them, especially on that opening couple of Series where they could give the Patriots defense and problems with kind of like San Francisco buffalo-style schemes where they're running a lot of outside Zone and a lot of hard play-action off of that. Yeah. I mean, it's it's not hard. I mean, we we watched we've we've watched the Patriots got run over by that one all season long, you know, it's and and you feel bad. I mean I did like you want Bentley, you know the first couple of years. I just feel like he's being overused right now and they're just asking so much of him, you know, and and it doesn't help that you've got, you know, Nick Thurman a practice-squad guy who you know, it's just getting called up. I mean that's that was my big just you know thing this offseason was that you know, everyone made fun of me that I wanted front seven guys that wanted to you know, and I feel like as much as you know, some people say, oh, well, it seems can run all over you but they gotta score points and it's not the end of the world, but it's like I also just wage Your front seven is your team's personality and you know when they're getting pushed around, I mean those those draw the first drive of the first half and the first drive of the second half last week against against the bills where you know, they just took it to them know, you know physicality. I think I believe you post actually like what their missed tackle rate is this year? I mean, it's just it's not Patriots football. It's not what we're used to seeing in any way, you know, you wonder what long situation is..

"I mean, I know you've been you know following this forever as well, you know, just to see how quickly Brady was able to get the ball out and you know, I think now it seems like and it's probably a good question for you is you know, I think the Reliance on play-action it really it kind of slows down some of the process with those quick passes and I notice you know bird is open sometimes off the line and a quick slant. I mean all they seem to want to throw him come back for those, you know, but but it seems like there are plays there if it could just kind of trust it so I mean cam I think with the dump off passes last week, you know being safe for the ball right down to that last turn over. I think that's the name. This thing and you know, if they can kind of build off of that as Josh talked about yesterday and and just eliminate the mistakes. I mean for you know, they always ask us what's your key for this week? I'm going on 3 weeks in a row and like just don't turn it over, you know, just repeat yourself heard that a hundred times from Belichick, you know, first thing you gotta do is not beat yourself and and it's hard to say in in a lot of these games that they've lost that that they've really beaten themselves and haven't given them a chance. Yeah and the thing about Brady and I think that you know as a younger younger Buck. I haven't seen you know, a lot of other Patriots quarterbacks in my time. So I was so used to watching one quarterback and you do you take it for granted thought you you don't realize like, oh my God, like how quickly he gets through a progression is absolutely insane. It's insane when you get a quarterback like Cam Newton who no offense to Camp Bow out a great talent in his own right? It's just such a stark difference when you look at how quickly and I was watching that Bucks game on Monday night as I'm sure a lot of Patriots fans were and Tom Brady took them down. Filled out a touchdown Drive where it was all checked out. It was it was just you know, one two three checked out one two three checked out and I'm thinking to myself like if Cam could just just do this happened and not worry about holding the ball to push it down the field all the time and just take the six or seven yards out of time..

"Okay, I'm back here with my guests and Mike Dussault of patriots.com and we are going to preview the Patriots against the Jets now on Monday Night Football and it's hard to believe that I'm even saying that this is remotely going to be a football game the Jets of course r o n 8. They're clearly one of the worst teams in the NFL. They're going to be in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes for the rest of the season. So I think the question really is though is are the Jets just completely tanked, you know, and we have nothing to worry about here or are they going to try to make a game of this against the Patriots? I think in Adam gase this case. He probably don't really care if they drafted the topic of the first round next April because he might not be the head coach of the New York Jets by that point. Yeah. I mean at this point, you know given what we've seen that the Patriots it's hard to like, you know, having a sudden expectations that they're all the Jets are haven't won a game yet. We're going to go roll over them. And you know as you mentioned any Greg Williams, I think his defense is always something serious that you got to deal with and you know, if there is one I think strength of the jet pack Insist their run defense and you know as you pointed out we're very well, you know teams are are keying off that and it's for good reason. That's what makes the Patriots offense go if they can't get the play-action going, you know, I think they're in trouble. So I think that this is a a dicey match up, you know, of course on the other side of the ball, you do have a Jets, you know offensive that just such a weird kind of performance last week where they they kind of looked effective in the first half and then they did absolutely nothing in the second half. So you wonder what their head space is going to be we all know, you know, Sam darnold see ghosts last year. He's not seeing any ghosts this year from the Patriots defense, but you know, I I mean, I I started writing about the Patriots was always drawn them, you know, draw me to analyzing football. It's been defense and you know, I look at this Patriots defense some of the inconsistencies that they show and especially in the Run game, you know, it's about eighty-five year-old Frank or coming to town and it's still a concern, you know, especially we don't know what Lawrence guys situation is. They brought in Carl Davis. He got a concussion, you know, they're they're trying to sign another, you know guy from Tennessee birth. He's going to be out for another week. So I think there's a huge questions about the Patriots front and as bad as the as the Jets have been certainly they're passing offense has been terrible. But you know at the Jets can get Frank Gore going if they can get. Not going those guys. I mean, you know, nobody was fearing Buffalo's rushing attack last week and and look what they did. So I think that that's that's kind of where the game is for me. It's it's it's all about the to run games and you know, I'm hoping that the Patriots can show off some progress in their passing game, but I think Greg Williams going to make it real tough on them. Yeah. That's a good point about pointing out that Isaiah forward and Isaiah Mac or both can have to go through covid-19 calls. So they're not going to be in this game this week..

"Game of watching him and I think you're right on that same path of just having the understanding of modern coverage schemes, modern route combinations being able to see really what's going on and why He I've much more emotional than what Eric is in. He really helps me when I overreact to things and get upset of all my gosh why did Teheran give know toasted I'm eric well, he had the under route and the guy had be over out in is actually a great throw over the corner. There's not a lot you can do to beat that. He didn't get beat. That's what his job was So I get mad at him for explaining to me why I shouldn't be mad. But it's it's great and and certainly worthwhile to come check out. So cover one dot net. App You can find the cover one now buffalo podcast. I, can't recommend these guys enough people eric is one of those people that had certainly inspired me to do more film breakdowns on twitter and always shows me up with all of his fancy editing and stuff like that. You know he's he's much better at that than I am so definitely gonNA give everybody cover want to follow here. On the Patriots podcast will be back next week with the New England next match-up. But until then Sunday, we will have waterlog coverage obviously unfortunately, not going to buffalo this year but will still have you covered from home aged bills before during after the.

"I am here with a very special guest. It is Bobby Peters. You can follow him on Twitter at Bobby Orr be underscore Peters 12, I believe is what it is and I just want to let everybody know who Bobby is he writes great books about offensive scheme. He has one out about the Patriots offense and the Forty Niners offense. That's why he's on with me today the Patriots handbook that Bobby sent me though. Seriously, I watched film with it next to me all the time now and use everything in there to identify things and see things that I wouldn't normally see before I read the book. So if you're a Patriots fan that's trying to get into X's and O's definitely pick up Bobby's book on Amazon and now I'll bring him Bobby. What's up Bobby? Not much man. How you doing? I'm doing well and I really do mean dog. Every time I watch tape of the Patriots offense now and they're passing game. I sit there with your book right next to me and every single time. I see something that I recognized from the book. I you know quickly opened to that page and it might need to break down the entire route, you know tree basically entire concept really which is pretty awesome. And these are two of the very best coaches getting into the game now, please. Jaguar Shanahan, it doesn't get much better than this. I would say in McDaniels to and Robert solid. I can throw them all in there two of the best coaching staffs. I would say in the NFL right now, Yeah, I definitely agree. I actually I think I tweeted out probably before the season even started that I had this Sunday circled on my calendar as a as a can't miss game can't mismatch up, you know going back to the Superbowl or the Falcons Patriots Super Bowl, you know, Kyle Shanahan going up against balance check and that defense. I mean just the the the the chess match going on between those coaches and their staffs is it's fun to watch. I wish this was a magic game. Got every year quite honestly, but you know, unfortunately that's how the NFL scheduling works. Yeah, absolutely. So every four years we have to wait for this one..

"We'll hopefully finally take on the Denver Broncos this Sunday after this game was of course postponed last when you could do with the coronavirus care in New England, so this is our second stab at a preview of Broncos Patriots. So I wanted to bring in Brandon Thorn from establish the rod that you can follow him on Twitter at Brandenburg an NFL to talk The Trenches with me some offensive lines of Defense of line stuff Brandon. Thank you so much for joining us. Yeah. Absolutely. Thanks for having me. No problem. So if people don't know Brandon, you probably should know Brandon right now. I mentioned his Twitter handle make sure to go follow him on Twitter. This guy grinds he posts more clips than just about anybody that I know on Twitter mostly focused on offensive breath. Defensive line plays I wanted to have a mom because the Patriots offensive line is off to such a great start and granted. I know you're a huge Dante scarnecchia guy as all of us are as well. And the month after scarnecchia is retirement the first time around the Patriots actually won the Super Bowl, but then it got pretty gross after that in 2015 this year first four games, at least this unit is off running and looks basically like stars still coaching even though he's not in the building. Yeah. Definitely. I mean, you know, I I update my offensive and defensive line rankings weekly for published The Run and I mean right now I have them as a top five offensive line in the NFL which is pretty incredible considering not only that scarnecchia is gone, but also the injuries that they've dealt with in the shuffling that's had to take place up for Undisputed and so it's really an incredible job that they're doing there in New England right now. I know that they're the dog Coaching situation right now and I think that's kind of another topic but I think that's really a smart approach to it a couple of teams that have done that over the years and I think that they've had pretty good results. But but anyway, yeah, I mean, I'm sure are using a lot of the same teachings. That's Carnegie and you know implemented there but either way very impressive so far, you know, I I do think that there's some isolated weaknesses there. But as a unit they're they're playing really well together and it's you know along with the scheme helping mask a lot of what those kind of minor weaknesses are. Yeah, I'll get to the Dual offensive line coaches in a second cuz I'm glad you brought that up. But I just wanted to ask you about this scheme and to you, you know, somebody that studies offensive lines across the league, you know all 32 teams. What is it about the Patriots scheme about fundamentals that you notice that is puts them in a kind of A Cut Above the Rest in a lot of Seasons..

"Before the break John, we were talking about a score metrics I want to get more into what they are and how they are based. On Different? Data. points. Okay. All right. So what we do is we we back test like thousands and thousands of patterns and micro trends and I guess that I have a couple of here that I'll. You guys in the second at we developed them in this what we call super patterns. So it's not just one pattern it's not. Well let me explain to you. Let me learn I have one that I wrote down here. Let me just read it off for you. Because I I don't remember all these things obviously. Down Let's talk about the Patriots. Actually this is all they I'm it's actually not written down. It's typed on a piece of paper. You don't write anything down anymore panel. Yeah. You don't. You don't lose it on your screen on your laptop going between five different desktops on your right. On the cloud now. So I have everything. I, the. Let's talk about the Patriots over the last twenty years. I give you could. You could argue, but it would be a futile argument to say that the Patriots are the most success successful sports franchise in probably anywhere I? Don't think anybody has reached level of success. They are as an actual franchise wins and losses but you know how are they against the spread and that's always something that you wonder because the bookmakers are. Smart and they're able to figure out with within a few points of win a what most games are going to be. Now sometimes, you'll see a blow out that no one predicted. But if they say, it's a seven point game will usually be a six seven or eight point game the Patriots or sixty one point two percent of the last twenty years against the spread. which is very impressive. The average team, our fifty, three percent. So the Patriots are head above the best higher than I would have expected. It's very hot. Yes. Considering how smart they are Vegas in the adjustments that.
