Ukrainian soldiers near finish of Patriot missile training
"Some Ukrainian soldiers of nearly finished patriot missile training at a U.S. Army post. On Norman hall, journalists invited by the army have seen dozens of Ukrainian soldiers conduct training exercises in a southwest Oklahoma Prairie at fort sill army post since January 65 Ukrainians have been taught how to use the patriot missile system, which can track and shoot down into the missiles. The system which hasn't yet been deployed in Ukraine is particularly useful for defending population centers and critical infrastructure. The Chinese are expected to leave Oklahoma the next several days for additional training in Europe before they deploy to Ukraine. On Norman hall

Something Has Happened in America...
"Has happened in America where we can call it the left, but it's really the anti American left. This is not good liberals like Alan Dershowitz or Naomi wolf or whoever you want to mention. People that love America that love truth and justice and the American way. No, these are people that are at war with the freedoms and the ordered liberty for which patriots have died through the centuries. They are at war with America and they have taken control of certain institutions much of it, I guess, backed by George Soros, who isn't actually Satan, but they're good friends. And the fact of the matter is this is happening in America. And if we don't stand against it and recognize it for what it is, it's the abrogation of America. The founder's vision of justice for all when it happens on this level, I kind of, what I find funny, Sean, is it's sort of like, you know, it's like watching an old wildlife film or something and these two animals are battling it out. And the level of desperation has just gone code red that they would do this shows that they don't care if they burn down the house. They just can not bear the idea that Trump might be the next president. So they will do they will do the kind of thing that it's just impossible for us to comprehend that anyone would do, but we're kind of there. In other words, they've done a number of these sorts of things. And they have inured or they're trying to endure the American public to increasingly extreme action. So

Kash Patel Shares the Story Behind the J6 Prisoner Song
"45th president of the United States with the January 6 prison choir, a song that was released without much fanfare, but which has shot up through the charts. Why was it released and how did it get released? Let's talk to a man who's at the center of getting justice for all patriots. He's a fighter extraordinaire. I could spend the next hour rattling off his positions at the DoJ on Capitol Hill in The Pentagon and working for the Trump administration. Let's just say he's a good friend of all patriots. Cash Patel. Welcome back to Mercer first one on one. Seth, thanks so much for having me back on the show and opening with the song. It's a great start. Now, I saw you at cpac, of course, we had a lot of fun at cpac recently and you said something big is going to happen. I can't tell you can't tell you, but something big is going to happen. I think we know what that big thing is right now. Will you tell us about the story behind the song and why it was released and president Trump's involvement? Yeah, absolutely. So fortunately, I was able to be a part of this. We thought, hey, we need to raise not just awareness for the Jan 6 movement, not just to show that there's a two tier system of justice that DoJ and FBI are doing. But to make people effectuate change. So we thought, and real America's voice in Ed Henry were great partner with great pyramid records. And we put together this song. Hang on. Hang on, hang on hang on. Ed Henry did something serious in his life? Ed Henry? And fun old clowny head Henry did something serious. God bless that Henry. Yeah, I gotta give it to him on this one. A great partner. And most people don't know this, but the prisoners sing the national anthem every single night at 6 p.m..

Julie Kelly Unpacks Tucker Carlson's J6 Footage Release
"Whole Tucker Carlson footage release Kevin McCarthy promise and so forth. There are those who have said it's amazing. Especially when we see the coverage, the actual footage of Brian sicknick, safe and well after he was meant to have been killed by the January 6th protesters, we see jape chansley being escorted through the building at times by more than 9 police officers who did nothing to stop him. Then we have Mitch McConnell, we have Chuck Schumer saying, don't release any more footage, and it looks like something happened the next show Tuesday night with Tucker was not the show he clearly was preparing to release less footage came out than we expected. Talk to us about what you think is going on and more importantly, what the consequences of the handing over of these 44,000 hours from speaking McCarthy to at least one news outlet could be. Is this good news? Will it make a difference, Julie? I think it will. And look, as someone who I believe was the first on our side back in May of 2021, to call for the release of all of the video after the capitol police filed in one of the cases that they considered this all of this footage highly sensitive government material, the DoJ was putting it under protective orders. Weed American greatness were like, wait a second. No, no, no, no. If you're going to call this a terror attack, we deserve to see all of it. So it was very gratifying to see Kevin McCarthy fulfill his pledge really at the behest of a handful of Republican lawmakers to release this video. I really did not think that he would. I supported giving it to Tucker and here's the reason why stab. First of all, you have to be extremely knowledgeable and informed about the events of January 6th to know where to look, see who some of these people are, what their movements were and to build a case about some sort of malfeasance. They're very few people and Tucker is one of them who's followed this from the very beginning, as you know, he produced a three part documentary patriot purge in 2021. So he was on to this from the very beginning.

A Lot of People Had High Hopes for Mike Pence... Not John Zmirak
"Lot of people had high hopes for Mike Pence and would disappoint it. I never had the slightest hopes for Mike Pence because back in 2015, at the stream, I wrote a column on how useless he was. Mike Pence had put through a religious freedom bill protecting the rights of Christians to associate and hire people, despite the attacks of the LGBTQ my name is legion movement. In other words, it was a religious freedom restoration act. And what it did was, it said, Christian employers could not be forced to hire people who were advancing openly gay, lifestyles. It said that no federal law mandating gay gay rights could Trump the First Amendment. The Chamber of Commerce in Indiana rebelled. Under the pressure of the gay lobby, the Chamber of Commerce said, oh no, they're going to be boycotts. They won't have college sports games. Indiana will suffer and Pence caved. Penn's caved in a red state of which he was already governor. So I said, okay, this is a weak sister. This is not somebody we need. And when Trump picked and for vice president, I said, oh boy, we are screwed. And then the deep state conducted its coup d'etat against our legitimately elected president. It started during the transition period. When Trump tried to hire Mike Flynn to supervise the deep state to sort of see what they were doing because George Bush trashed the constitution by passing the Patriot Act. It allowed federal intelligence agencies to collude to surveil Americans. It created the kind of joke kangaroo court, the fisa court that would rubber scam, surveillance, and every American on the slightest pretext, Obama, the Obama administration weaponized that and started going after conservatives and Christians using the deep state.

Eric Welcomes FBI Veteran Thomas Baker
"Today is Thomas baker, a 33 year veteran of the FBI who has written a brand new book called the fall of the FBI, how a once great agency became a threat to democracy. It's a, it's a major thing for someone like you who obviously joined the FBI, what? Over 50 years ago to come to this very heartbreaking conclusion, Thomas, where did you grow up? It sounds like you grew up in the New York area. Well, you're right about that, Eric. I grew up in New York City. I joined the FBI in New York City at the young age of 21, so as I said at the beginning of this interview, essentially the FBI has been my entire adult life. And so there's nobody who could see better from the inside what we're talking about. You saw this happen. Do you think that there's hope for the FBI? Because the part of me that when I see these institutions, these three letter agencies weaponized and politicized, I want to say defund the FBI. In other words, the idea that these people charged with protecting Americans would become politicized and would, in many cases, become the enemies of patriots. What they did to Roger Stone, what they did to so many others, it's nothing less than despicable and horrifying and I, I don't know enough to know what one can do, but it is astonishing to me that that level of politicization could be happening. Where do you see, do you see hope that it could be depoliticized at this point? I am by my own nature, always an optimist. And that is why I wrote the book. And that's why I'm on shows like yours, talking about this urging the FBI to reform. I love the FBI. I would not personally advocate defunding it, although I realized that's a tool of constitutional tool that Congress has to bring about pressure.

Dinesh and Debbie Discuss New January 6 Revelations
"I wanted to begin with this topic of January 6th because we got to give credit to Jim Jordan. He might have reluctantly agreed to do this, but this is something that people like Marjorie Taylor Greene have long wanted. The release of the full footage. Why? Because we know that the DoJ and these trials. Now, in the January 6th trials, the defendants are entitled to look at video footage, but very often they don't get the full video. The only get limited clips that pertain to that defendant, and that's often an adequate, because you can't see the context of what's happening. What's the crowd doing? Are there police officers that are marching toward you heavily armed and blasting you with pepper sprays? That's why you did what you did. Well, interestingly, I saw a video clip of a man asking the arms capitol police, hey guys, why isn't there more security? What's going on? Why are you guys just standing there? Why aren't you doing something? And that was really interesting because we had never seen that before. And really, it goes to show you that they weren't all that interested in security on that day. This is a key point. Here's another point. There's an interesting video. Again, in one of the new videos, where you see this group of patriots coming in, they're very calm. They're very subdued. And they're walking in between the ropes at the capitol. Right. And you see in a fire. In a line. So now ask yourself this, does this look like an insurrection? In other words, people proceeding they're unarmed. They're proceeding in an orderly fashion, and they're so well mannered, could contrast this with left wing activists who start trashing the walls and writing all kinds of signs. Exactly. They're facing the place. These guys are moving almost solemnly through a line. And I think this is the reason a video like this is not released by the January 6th committee because it undercuts the narrative.

If patriot freedom project didn't exist, and we didn't tell these stories through the book due process denied, that is, how would these people be able to keep their heads above water? And Jose is not going to trial anytime soon. Right now it's set for May and it might get delayed again. He's been denied bond and they still haven't had a visit with each other. You're talking over two years that this man has been separated from his wife in history incredible sons. And he's not the only one in the D.C. jail that is still sitting in pre trial detention. So what is he what is he being charged with? You know, he is being charged with violent crime, but there's a lot of people Charlie that are being charged with a violent crime that did not commit violence to that guy. Yeah, I believe. For example, I'm sure you're familiar with the very large Trump sign that there was a ton of people standing underneath and they were walking underneath it and ray eps, the famous raps underneath that that's yeah, so lots of people have been charged with assaults, you know, assault with a weapon, deadly weapon for just touching that sign.

Cynthia, welcome to the program. Hi, Charlie. Thank you for having me back. It's nice to see you. Nice to see you again. I also want to make sure everyone knows that the proceeds from the book and the docu series go to patriot freedom project and we'll talk more about that. So Cynthia, why don't you reintroduce yourself to our audience and the important work that you're doing? So my name is Cynthia Hughes. The founder of the patriot freedom project. I'm also a family member of a J 6 defendant who is currently serving his prison time here in New Jersey at fort Dix. He spent a lot of time in the D.C. gulag in solitary confinement. Denied due process on nonviolent charges. I think it's very important that we talk about that. Because a lot of people are still sitting in jail on nonviolently charges, people have been sentenced to lengthy prison terms on nonviolent charges. Like Julie and cater, some of the footage we saw last night on officer sicknick might have been helpful to Julian before he was forced into a very horrific plea deal and then eventually sentenced to 6 years in prison. Where he's already been bounced around from different prisons since a sentencing and it's really, really very sad. He's being sued by the government and, you know, I just lost my lighting. I'm sorry. And, you know, and these are things that we have to keep talking about. And until we, until we, and so we see all the footage, we're not going to, you know, we're not going to be able to make it forward of decisions and none of these trials should be continuing. And these people should be released.

'Red Dawn' Has Great Scenes for Gun Nuts
"Okay, what else do we need to say about this incredible movie? I love this one thing. If you're a gun not like me and Chris can attest to that. So can John, there's this moment. Do you remember at the beginning when they just landed the troop is just landed and the officer gives guidance to one of his lieutenants, go to the gun stores and get form four four 7 three, which is the background check you have to do to buy a gun. Why? What's the message? This is a massive gun guy. I mean, he's the Second Amendment. Yeah, this is a political idea of who have this form. You've got the addresses of everyone who bought a gun. This is the trouble. And actually this makes sense. This could have even been the idea behind the entire script. Yeah. It's like this is a problem. Like what if this happened? They're like, oh, what if this happened? This is a good idea. Maybe let's not have lists of people who have guns in case somebody wants to take our liberties away from us. What I actually saw that part of the film, I thought, well, that can't be real. Okay. But yeah, that makes sense, because back then they wouldn't have had some kind of Internet database. They would have had just performs. He calls himself what is he saying? He's in a zen ionicus. He's asked politically whether he's a millionaire. It's not exactly conservative or libertarian or left wing, but he is a patriot and he loves his guns.

So I don't believe in funding other countries on their pensions. Got it. Got it. Actually, all right. Well, then we don't have a disagreement. What don't I know what I'm talking about? Well, the mere fact that we shouldn't be giving a military sport. I'm an American patriot. I'm X and navy. I do find my flag. And I'm a staunch Trump supporter. So I'm going to lay that out there. However, I work with kind of a sensitive organization out of the Ukraine. And if we don't help them stop Russia on their eastern border, there will be a total migration and Putin will keep on going and charging through that country. And then a good chance that he can move on to another one too, even a possible ally, which you would think would be a mistake, but it would also be World War three. There's not a day that I don't have a conference call with the people in Ukraine where I hear a air raid siren going overhead or I'm talking to a woman who tells me her father is on the husband rather is on the front line or debt and she's worried about her kids that are sitting in the school right now. Yeah. It's awful. It's awful. It's awful. We get it. So I've got to ask you what I ask everybody else. Obviously, the fear or the concern is that Russia escalates that Russia and China align and they set their sights on us at what point do we have to acknowledge we might wind up in a military confrontation with Russia. And if so, what does that look like, Sean? I don't think we'll end up fighting Russia in the Ukraine. I don't think we'll be putting troops in there.

They're not quite up to the task. Look, for how long now about a hundred years, not even, but the church has been so radically privatized with secularization and we used to be just think of medieval architecture, the church was always the most prominent building in the most glorious city match right here, and I'm talking to someone from Hungary, one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. Whereas you look at urban planning today, churches don't even appear. And if they are there, they're in the place of consumption next to Pizza Hut and dry cleaners. Speaker fight as well in the rearview mirror. Talk about the pace to talk about the results. Talk about how this Congress is currently contrasting with the one that just ended. Well, look, I got to tell you this Congress has actually moved faster and done more things. And even I anticipated, I mean, I was hopeful. It's what I wanted to see happen, but we've been moving at breakneck speed. Obviously everybody pays attention to oversight and judiciary, but even in the other committee's homeland, agriculture, natural resources, my other committee financial services, we're all moving at warp speed. On financial services, I'm on the ESG task force appointed by chairman of mchenry on that task force. I mean, we're really looking into everything. And so, you know, that's really has me optimistic. The second part is, you know, the members want to do the work. You know, the members are excited about being in a majority. They want to hold this administration. Accountable, just like everybody watching your show and people who listen to shows and activists, patriots, conservatives, you know, people who just want to see the country back on track. But for this crop of Republicans is committed to that work. So it's not been a thing where you have members saying, oh, maybe we shouldn't go here. Oh, maybe we should stay away from that. You know, what's The New York Times going to say, you know, what might CNN run? Everybody's like, no, that's just going to get it done. And so that's kind of the attitude in the atmosphere right now. Both guys are left outside of the tackle, easy run. This is the foreman run. Again, one linebacker scraping to the sideline, the pressure guy does not close off the edge for us as an offense. Thank you. That is easy work for us. Watch the linebacker on this next play. He's gonna run up to coverage, never even look at anything. This is one of those RPOs that Marcus just talked about. There's no clothes. There's no linebacker because he's going to cover someone without ever looking at the actual quarterback and tailback and a play. So that's three clips. We can give you 15 of them. And there's a reason why those numbers look the way they are. This is a very right now, a very undisciplined unit, disconnected unit and lacking of pride unit. Yeah. I mean, I think the other thing about this unit is Marcus made a great point, right? They're not stopping anything. It's like Burger King. You can have it your way, but they have to lay the hat on getting back to what Todd Bowles made this team and made this defense. Hard Bose has to put his imprint back on who they are, the Devin white, the Levante David, it's the Vita Vegas. They need to step up. And now if you make teams have to pass and you are playing the Kenny Pickett, the Mitchell trubisky's and PJ walkers of the world, you can make plays on the back end because you can pin your ears back and rush. They aren't stopping anything, which is making it very difficult for you. 'cause both these teams Green Bay and Tampa are both struggling. We hear Aaron Rodgers say, well, our weekly habits have to be better. And then we see Tom Brady say, we got to earn everything. It's just interesting hearing those quarterbacks kind of hint that that's going on in their building. It's unusual. It seems like discipline though, it all goes back to that. Time for one more thing before we go. And for that, we turn to former patriot cornerback. Asante Samuel, he took a little shot, maybe a big shot. And it's where we're going to go check on Twitter saying Belichick's starting to show you he is an average coach without Brady. Golly, RC, you were talking about earlier, like, it's okay to fight or whatever. I mean, I think asante is looking for a fight. I don't know. What are you guys? I don't necessarily believe he's looking for a fight, but we have heard this sentiment about Bill Belichick, especially since Tom Brady has been going. It's weird when you hear it from people in the building, but maybe there's something to it. Belichick now 20 and 20 since Brady left New England? The greatest cars of all time. You can't take away from him what he has accomplished, but you do have to look at this team and even some of the questions about how he handled the quarterback last night and know that this could be a little sketchy without the goat. I have an old saying. You can coach like hell. If you ain't got Michael Jordan, you ain't winning no championships. That's what it bored. Well, there you go. Good thing we got Michael Jordan here. It was quite about something else, 'cause I'm over this. But I will say, Patrick Mahomes was 7 of 7 on passes thrown 15 or more yards downfield Sunday. That didn't happen that often. He's the second quarterback over the last 15 seasons to go 7 of 7 or better on those throws. Joining Drew Brees. I know, isn't that cool? We're all excited to see how Christian McCaffrey fit into this forty-niners offense after the train. He made an impact in his debut with 60 two total yards. That was after being with his new team, just a few days. The forty-niners have the rams on Sunday, Sean mcvay was asked about the addition yesterday. Sean, what were your thoughts about the forty-niners trade and for Christian McCaffrey? No, you thought, oh, you know, they get another great player. Sean last year, oh, they got OBJ. They got von Miller. Just kidding. Anyway, RC, should other coaches around the league be dropping expletives about thinking about this forty-niners offense now? I mean, it all depends on, you know, how you use your expertise, but yeah, sure. Why not? But when you think about this team, it only works if Kyle Shanahan uses Christian McCaffrey out of the ordinary way he's used running backs. We've seen that this team understands how to get any running back who has some skill to be productive. So now it's time to go play basketball. Let's go play 5 on 5 with our skill players and find the best matchup. Hey, Chauncey billups. You got the matchup tonight. You go win it, rasheed Wallace. You have it tonight. You go with it. Tayshaun prince, rip Hamilton, whoever it is who has the best matchup, let's utilize that, let's utilize that by formation and also versatile skill set. So if Kyle Shanahan finds ways to integrate Christian McCaffrey into this offense in different places, but that also frees up debo frees up George kittle frees up Brandon and I you to have the right matchup to win. Now it's on Jimmy G to say, here is where it is. Here is where it is. Here is where it is and for Kyle Shanahan to set it up that way to where I have to make a decision. So here, Mark, I'm the deviate a little bit. Here and you talk, I would expect that this offense starts to implement some wildcat into it right now. Could you imagine snapping the ball in the backfield to McCaffrey or 19 O right there? And then you got McCaffrey one in the wildcat can either of them throw kittles and match a problem. You got used checks still. You have a wide receiver that could play running back. You have a running back that can play wide receiver in McCaffrey. You have kid who could play tight end and wide receiver, have you checked, use checker could play fullback or HVAC. I agree with you. Did you get the point though? Like, if you just put Christian McCaffrey where Jeff Wilson is or retired David's voice is so waste of getting him. Everybody can run the ball game. No, it's a great point. He's right. The pressure really falls on Kyle now to use this the right way. And again, being so imaginative, I'd expect Kyle to have basically no stone unturned with how he can use McCaffrey. You know, and that also makes me think and no shade of Jimmy jail that was probably going to come across that way. That helps you if Jimmy G's not having success. You do a little change up at the quarterback spot using wildcat. Marcus, what'd you think? You had like a face look like you tasted something bad. It was bread. Well, I just love that idea wildcat. Damn, just pissed off every defensive coordinator that got to play San Francisco. Here's the thing, guys. And we all know this. Laura, please don't let you be messed this up. 'cause it's all there for. And I'm going to be that guy to go to go own narrative and say Jimmy Jean man just stay within what the plan is for this offense. Throw it out of bounds if you don't have it, okay? Hit the one or two throws that you're going to be asked to make and let your guys do the work. Right. Because when I look at this, Kansas City game and we just showed the play. Forty-niners were playing well. They were moving the ball, defense was getting off the field, and then that was, I believe, right after turnover, when he threw the interception in the end zone. Jimmy J, please don't mess this up. You have everything. This a quarterback dream. Just live within what you need to live in and don't take unnecessary. It should be the greatest yak team ever. Yards after catching. Yak. Yak yards after the catch. I like when you explain what that is, just so someone doesn't think it's the other kind of yak. This is Tom Brady. I'm back from my 23rd NFL season, and so is my podcast. Let's go with me, Jim gray, and future Hall of Famer, Larry Fitzgerald, Tom's experience, always shows up. That means in depth football talk, the best guess in the podcast world. The one and only Snoop Dogg chiming in. We just gonna pretend to do what we do. This is all we know. And whatever else is on my mind. You can find let's go on SiriusXM, Pandora, stitcher, or wherever you get your podcasts. Don't forget to follow the show so you never miss an episode. Now what you guys have missed is that Dan orlowski has been over here back paladin and bicycling out of his break. And maybe some DBs need to start doing it. To show you how Joe burrow and Ja'Marr chase have jumped in a Delorean and taking us all the way back to 2019 in the Bayou. I want to play the clips for everybody at home before we break it down because here's the reality. It's the same route. It's essentially the same coverage. It's a different kind of throw, but it's the same result. It's Joe burrow dropping back, finding the default to Ja'Marr chase in equal and touchdowns. Okay, so the first one. I want everyone to realize that this is Jamar chase down at the bottom of the screen. I got the three by one. I want tricks up to the field. The great thing we love about Jamar chase is he can play by himself solo. Now once Joe burrow catches this snap, he's gonna do one thing. He's gonna peek at this safety right now to see. Now here we go. I don't wanna cut you off. You say you got the three by one. So if I know I have three by one, the first thing I'm thinking is all of my threats are here. The free state is gonna work off. Tyler Boyd and the tight end. The issue is, when you have Jamar chase here, I need to be able to deter your burrow right now. So if I want to be wider here, so Joe immediately goes right back to the top side of the field. And I love the fact that Joe realizes he's got soft by this nickel so it's more than likely man coverage. I hold that free safety. Now here's everything. One, two, three is I hold that free safety. Now Joe's starting to make this throw, and once he sees that Jamar chase is in that leverage, we call that he's won. You're on top. Now it's paramount. Bo's gotta come out on time, and I need Jamar chase to stay vertical down the field. For the big thing is here. This corner knows he's now about to be stacked. So in being stacked, he's going to have to try to play the hands right here. He needs to have vision on Jamar chase, understand where the apex point is going to be and get right to it. He's going to hesitate a simple little bit and this throw and catch is absolutely perfect. It's perfect. So the fact is this Jamar chase won over the top and Joe Perot puts it over the top perfectly for the touchdown. Now we go to the very next plate. It's going to be another three by one set. This time it's going to be to a bunch. I have the bunch down here. Now I want Jamar chase to be by himself soloed up. I'm going to get a very similar coverage where I'm going to get that single high rotation at this net. The first thing I'm going to ask is this right here. The first communication we need to have is if we get this formation, I understand I don't have to get his wife to get to the three by one. But I've communicated to my corner already. I am leaning to you. You can now slip underneath Jamar chase and I'll play over top the ball. So I love that. When you talk about that lean, I say, here's that. That's safety starts to drift away. He's trying to lie over like. Something different than he did the first time. Beautiful, and that's this safety drops down right now. Joe's got to do a great job of understanding there's that vision. He sees that safety drop down. He sees that he starts to go back to middle of the field, but to your point, RC, now that corner, this is the same throw that corners on top. Jamar Chase has widened, he has not won, so I gotta throw that as a quarterback to his back shoulder for a beautiful ball placement. You know what this does, though? This essentially tells any cornerback any defense you can't win on a Jamar. Because they

"Audiences know what they like, and with touch points for every passion, Amazon ads, knows how to reach them. What a QB roller coaster it was on Monday Night Football. The bears won, by the way, Justin Fields looked improved. That's a nice roller coaster day and we'll talk about what on earth happened with Mac Jones and Bailey. It's like Marvin to something good. Okay, that's what you think. That state orlowski, that's where in Clark, Marcus spears is with us too. Let's revisit last night guys to begin as we begin with. The Patriots hosting the bears, Mac Jones, were wondering if he's gonna start, but turns out he is making his return as a starting quarterback. It's Justin Fields turn first, though, bear's already up three zero. They got first and goal from the three. Fields takes it themselves. We saw this all night condensed split. You get the motion and freeze defenders, and then you pull people the lead out in front touchdown Chicago. Early second quarter, ten, nothing. Oh no. Don't do it. One hand. Yum. Do it. This terrible decision, bad play. That's not who you are. Second and ten, you're down in essentially field goal range defenses one to rep because of their rush to throw the bottom bounds. All right, so the next patriots drive Bailey zappy subbed in at quarterback fans of Gillette are pumped and zap you with play action throws to a wide open Jacoby Myers of course he's wide open with zappy comes in. Patriots trill ten 7. Ridiculous adjustment on that throw by Jacoby Mars because that's not a good throw by zappy ends in a good result. How about this? All of them RC coming up for zappy. Well, this is a great catch down the sideline by devonta Parker. He goes up, he climbs the ladder. This is why they acquired him in the off season, but it seems like everything's going right for the backup. Patriots score later in the drive to take the 14 to ten lead two minutes ago in the half. Bears with the ball at the pat's 25 fields able to get it to Khalil Herbert. He's got blockers in front walks into the end zone. The bears go up, 17 to 14. Let's go halfway through the fourth quarter. Bears with a commanding lead, zappy still in the game at this point, he starts to struggle. He had struggled before this, too. Dropping back passing, it's batted by roquan Smith coming up with the interception. The bears beat the Pats 33 to 14. Here's Bill Belichick after the game. When Mac came out of the game bill was that a medical decision, the timing of following him? So is that related to the interception that was his last plate tonight? We had planned to play my total quarterbacks though. We were going to play both of them. And so was the plan for three series. It just seems when his last plays in interception, it looks like a benching for performance. That's not what it was, but you know, you can write whatever you want to write. That's not what it was. Well, not sure we thought we were going to get a whole lot from Bill Belichick on this one, but really mysterious across the board. Dan, I'll start with you on this. What did you make of how the quarterbacks were handled last night for the Patriots? I hated it. You know, respectfully, coach Belichick, there's no way that you can believe or have us think that whether we've been around football or a fan that that's not a benching. It looks every bit of a benching. And I would have preferred you after the game to say yes, I benched Mac Jones. I gave him the chance to start he said he was healthy enough. He moved around fine, but dagon, I can't have him give the football away. And when I saw that, I said, okay, enough. I've seen one. We're down ten nothing. Let's bring out Debbie. And my next thing would be about this about Mac Jones. Mac, I love you, dude. And if I was Joe judge, the quarterback coach, I'd walk into that room and be like, what the fudge, dude, you can't do that. You've got a head coach that for 20 years built the greatest organization ever, unlike all the cliche things that have to do with sports. One of them is, do not give the ball away, right? There's a difference between a turnover and a takeover. That's a legit turnover. I loved Mack because you knew who he was coming out of draft. That's not you. Damn, but then rid of it. Danny, like stop it though. Like the dude threw one pick. Like, I could see if he had an opportunity to play until halftime. And he threw two interceptions and he was fumbling the football in the pocket. And it was one of those things where you felt like he was in over his head in the return. This wasn't it. To me, this was premeditated. When you come into a game and a guy is pulled after he throws an interception, it's because you might believe in the other guy, at least at this point, a little more. And it's different if we are playing like we have two really good quarterbacks, right? Right. The fact that okay, Mac, you're not really feeling it right now. Let's bring in belly. Okay, barely, you're starting to struggle. We've seen Mac do this for an entire year. Let's put him back in the game and ride that hot hand. That wasn't what he was doing. I agree with you on this. It was a benching. When you pull it and you don't pull him back in the game and that's your starter, he was bitch. The problem is this. Everybody was in the stands. Oh, we got Tom Brady. Drew Bledsoe. Lies, you tell zappy throws two picks now, and now you're in a situation to figure out who starts next week. Yeah, that fairytale story didn't quite come to the ending that patriots fans wanted it to. We're going to get to Marcus in just a moment, but Mike Reese covers the Patriots for ESPN. Thanks so much for being with us here, Mike. And you spoke with Bill Belichick this morning. What did he have to say about all this? Well, so Laura, here's what we got. The day after he played the two quarterbacks, which you were just talking about, he's not ready to narrow it down to just one. So he holds this day after game, video conference, and the thing that stood out to me was that he hinted that Mac Jones health is still a key consideration, have a listen. As you move forward, if he's healthy Bill, is he, is it

Is Glenn's story and Leigh Wong guests from patriot mobile with the CEO and the VP of government affairs because NBC, we talked about this yesterday, they are going hard against patriot mobile and what was the headline, right? It was the far right Christian cell phone provider that is taking over Texas school boards. I want to get them on to get their side of the story because boy, they are really mad that the rights and really just common sense regular Christian folks because this is the fight of our country and here patriot mobile is one company that is willing to stand up. Glenn Lee, welcome to the program. Thank you for having us. Jack, thank you for having us. It's always great to see you. Oh, it's great. We were just down at cpac together. We did an incredible event. We did the book signing. We had my antifa book. We just did a segment talking about some of the stuff that was in the NT support, by the way. Kenosha, but first, tell us what was it that you all were up to with the Texas school boards, and then explain why at NBC is so mad at you guys. Well, NBC being mad at us is not a new thing. And this particular reporter has a history of being very interesting with facts, but the bottom line is what happened Monday night in Texas. Is elected officials did in an elected position. What they said, they were going to do when they ran for office. And neither the left nor the right is used to that.

"Giardia as part of his coal strange report also said that, you know, as far as someone was lurking and he's really confident that someone was lurking in in love with Thornton and the majority has just gone full honk. Who is sources patriot sources? I don't know, but he brought up maybe Pittsburgh as that team lurking. Or maybe they like some of the stuff they saw in film. So I agree with though, Thornton is the is the swing pick. And works out if they hit a home run with thorium. I don't think many people are crying about this draft. A 100%, 100%. If he's what they drafted them to be, this draft is great. All right, let's run through quickly the rest of the draft here. Marcus Jones at 85, Greg. Love him, baller, ballplayer. I would have picked this guy in the same spot, you know, he's your future slot guy, kick returner, can give you probably a few snaps on offense too. I worry about his shoulders. He had shoulder surgery on both of them already, that's an issue for an interior sort of guy and a willing tackler, but love him. Absolutely love him. Love the pick. Arizona state cornerback, Jack Jones with one 21. This was another pick where people were screaming. Oh my God. What a reach by Belichick. Your thoughts on Jack Jones. Yeah, I would have, you know, he's a bit of a reach, you know, you hear that he has man covered traits and look, if the Patriots, again, this is another swing pick. It's a risky pick. It's a swing pick. If they got their man corner later, then I wanted to. I wanted elam in the first round. They got theirs later, picked up more picks. They got their inside cornerback and Marcus Jones of the future. Then great. I do think there's questions about Jones and, you know, he had a lot of off field issues earlier. We'll see if those are still the case. Obviously the Patriots Matt gros said they did a lot of homework. So I'm good with that. I took I took shaker Khalil shaker wide receiver Boise state in my draft in the spot. The Patriots met with Jones top 30 visit. They went out to Arizona to talk to the Arizona state people about Jones. So yeah, they did a lot of homework on him. He was a 5 star recruit, I believe, coming out of high school, he was really, really good in his freshman year. And then the off the field stuff bit him. Now, we know that there's been some past examples of this. Malcolm butler, JC Jackson, some things going on where guys were very talented, but it didn't work out for one reason or another. I'm not selling you that Jack Jones is going to be butler or JC Jackson. But the Patriots have a history of this and they feel comfortable with the homework they've done. They were right on butler. They were right on Jackson. We'll see if they're right on Jack Jones. Pierre strong at one 27 running back, home run hitter, Greg. Like, love the pick, good player, can give you a bunch of things. James White with speed. So I like to pick there. Yeah, and let's not forget that white over the weekend said he's got a ways to go. He might not be back. He might. I hope he comes back, but it's a hip significant injury to the hip and insert into the hip. So yeah, I'm not banking on James White. I love him. Hopefully he comes back and he looks like James White, but I'm not banking on it. One 37..

"Talking about the chiefs just reminds me of, you know, Brandon staley in that game. That he blew with the Chargers because he kept going forward on fort dawn down and passing up field goals. You know, him saying you've got to score touchdowns against that team was so out of touch and just actually not correct. It was like basically this was an equivalent of him saying like if they played the Patriots being like, well, you have to score touchdowns against that team, because you know they're going to come back at some point. After Tom Brady left, like that's not acknowledging that Tom Brady left. It's the same thing as not acknowledging Patrick Mahomes is not the same guy. They are not the same team on offense. So for me, I think no matter where it is, Casey, here, whatever. I think the chiefs are very beatable. The Patriots know how to play them defensively, the chiefs don't have the weapons to exploit it. And I think the Patriots can control the line of scrimmage in that game. As for the Bengals, we alluded to it a couple times in the pod. There is a feeling based off of their choice to rest Joe burrow, who did kind of tweak a knee a little bit in that late game debacle situation there. In the win over the chiefs, Joe Mixon on the COVID list so he's out anyway and resting some other players. They're going in with a preseason sort of lineup in their season finale against the browns. The browns aren't really going to put up that much of a fight themselves. So this could be a total rock fight. But there are some people who believe Bengals are resting on purpose because they're trying to position themselves for a first round matchup with the Patriots. You don't buy that. I buy it. Well, let me ask you this. Who's the weakest team in the playoff? Put yourself on the other side of the coin. Which team scares you the least in the playoffs of the ones in there right now..

"About that. But the Bengals have a shaky offensive line that negates some things will help the Patriots get pressure. So yeah, I want the Bengals if I have my brothers. Okay. And we will talk about whether the Bengals want you, but we'll run through the rest of the AFC. One of the top two seeds either gonna be Kansas City or Tennessee. It's Tennessee as it stands right now if everyone holds served. You know, that they'll be the one seed. Should they fall to two? That is a potential patriots opponent between Casey and Tennessee. It looks on paper that Casey is the scarier team, but in terms of a matchup with the Patriots, Tennessee might be the bigger issue. It might be the bigger problem. Yeah. I'm scared to death at a time. I don't want to play. I don't want nothing to do with them in the playoffs. Yeah. I mean, and you initially I should point out on Boston sports journal, you pointed out your predictions when you thought the Patriots were going to win the AFC was a second round loss to Tennessee. You know, and that's how you had the season ending. You're face him in the first round. It's just, you know, it's a quicker death. Yeah, and I actually have a decent chance of my preseason prediction coming through, which was 11 and 6. Beat the bills at buffalo in the first round lose at Kansas City in the divisional round. So I got a chance. My pre season prediction of pretty good. Spot on. Yeah. But yeah, the Titans, I'm scared to death of the Titans. Look, they're not, they're not going to run away from you. They're not formidable, so in a lot of ways you're like, all right, well, at least we know we're not going to get blown out of the water or fall behind like 27, nothing in the first quarter. Where the chiefs have that possibility, they haven't been that team in a long time, probably going back to the beginning of last year before Patrick Mahomes had that turf toe. They've never been the same really since then. The Titans Derrick Henry's coming back come back to practice this week. They could have a buy where they're rested, Mike vrabel with more time to think of stuff to just screw with the Patriots, scares me to death. The Titans, if they want to run the ball, they can do that. All of a sudden a patriots have to put more resources to stop in the run, all of a sudden that opens it up to AJ Brown and it Julio Jones is back and you know all these guys who are coming back from injury who you didn't have to worry about the first time. I mean, the Titans didn't have anybody coming in here. And it was still, they were one yard away for making it a one score game midway through the fourth quarter. What do you think they're gonna do with a full squad?.

"But my third thing that I feel good about related to that is just is Mac. Max settled down. You know, for two games, you got sped up. He settled down. I was a little bit worried there was a play. I think near the end of the first quarter, it was a third down pass and I think it went to Kendrick born over the middle it was contested catch could throw good catch converted. It was like a third and 7, I think they got like 9 yards. And Matt got me a little bit worried because he, it's funny, this is what you see and sometimes you see out of Brady too when Brady gets sped up. These pocket guys, they run into pressure. And he started to run into the line. Like Mac like moved up. He had a fine pocket, but for some reason he was seeing ghosts and he moved up, but he still completed the past, but I was just like, oh boy, I hope he settled down a little bit. And then he ended up doing that, but I think Mac is max back on track back to that Ascension that we saw before this little three game low and that's a great time. My final thing is the running backs. I mean, you lose Harris for the week. Stevenson doesn't practice all week. You plop him in the game and the dude's a beast. And Brandon Bolden has been much better than I expected him to JJ Taylor, not a great day, not a ton of opportunity. Not a great day for him. But for Andre Stevenson, his unexpected speed when he finds that extra gear, his finish. Like this guy finishes runs. If you're gonna want to try to tackle him, just get ready, cause the trains coming on through. I mean, he is such a strong impactful, powerful runner. With that speed, he can catch the football. He's got some wiggle. I mean, you're sitting there watching this game on Sunday and you're thinking to yourself, Mac Jones, Christian barmore, Rahman Jay Stevenson. Not too shabby. And, you know, maybe Ronnie Perkins, whenever he gets healthy, if he gets healthy, can also flash, but Stevenson was tremendous on Sunday. And you know, I just think as long as long as things go well for him with the team and I know you've said that there were maybe some things about whether or not he was, you know, it's totally focused and all that stuff and he had to lose some weight and trim down a little bit. But he was fantastic on Sunday. And if you can keep rolling if Harris comes back and you've got that two headed monster of Harris and Stevenson, with this offensive line rounding into form with Mac, if he's protected the way he can play, this offensive ceiling is probably higher than I thought it was. Let's get to three things that might concern you. Let's start with the defense.

"We'll have to figure out Isaiah win, I wonder if Isaiah wins performance in this game makes them reconsider the whole trend Brown thing. I think if you, nobody knows what they think of Trump Brown at left tackle anymore. Certainly played that when he was here. Everybody wants them to move, they haven't shown one inkling that that's going to happen from training camp to now his return. They had plenty of time to train them up in practices to be ready to play left tackle, Isaiah win has a 5th year option. It was very surprising that Micah Winnie was the guy to go to the bench when Brown came back and not Ted Keras or Isaiah win. That was interesting. But I think that this offensive line, the version that we saw on Sunday in terms of their run blocking, past protection for young quarterback to give him time, this is what we thought we were going to get when we started the season. It took of a hell of a long time longer than it should have for this group to round into form, but it's here and it's spectacular. I will say Josh McDaniels, you touched on this a lot earlier. He had a fantastic game. You know, he's figuring out things with this offense and what they are. We've been talking about their identity over the past couple of weeks. They're pretty much solidified upfront as you just mentioned. And they have figured out what works for them. And McDaniels, I think, was in such a groove on Sunday. And you look back, you know, was it first in 20 or whatever it was when they run the reverse to born? Great play call. You pick up a huge chunk when you're in a tough situation. Third and 13, I know Cleveland didn't play it well, but the Brandon Bolden screen. Good play call. Perfect timing for that. I just thought there were a lot of different calls. And you mentioned a lot of stuff that he did. I thought mcdaniel was excellent on Sunday. How about the receiver's Greg? Well, at least the past catchers if you want to include hunter Henry. Yeah, I just thought that in terms of catching the ball and making tough.

"I'm not sure I'm ready to crown them as the number one cornerback in the league again after 17 snaps. Yeah, I think that's a good point and by Kyle, you mean Kyle pets The Rookie tight end for the falcons. And I thought, you know, that interception that he had, when I first saw it on Sunday, you know, in the TV clips, because of course all patriots Twitter was talking about Gilmore, picking off the pass. And I think that was right before the Patriots played the Chargers in the afternoon game. And when I first saw it, I was like, oh, that's, you know, Matt was under pressure off his back foot or whatever, but when I saw it on the all 22, I was like, you know, that stuff being stuff. He realized what the route was, broke on it went underneath, like, that's classic stuff right there. Yeah, again, and I don't know if it's because of just his personality and persona and the soft voice that never changes. Like I said, know, he's irritated with the Patriots or he's saying he's irritated with the Patriots and it sounds the same as it when he's praising Belichick or praising his teammates. The voice never changes the tone never changes. So I don't know if maybe because he's quiet that people didn't necessarily get a good glimpse into the football IQ and the intelligence that he has, but you talk to the players. I mean, you've talked to him. Helping helping Mac Jones and summer helping receivers things that he points out when he's watching during a game or even a practice saying like, hey, that release work for you. Don't be afraid to go back to it. Hey, you know, he's playing you this way. You might have to do this. He's seen a lot. He studies a lot. I give him a ton of credit for still being buried in the film, all these years and just, you know, he trusts that film study and to your point, I mean, it paid off beautifully on that play. And it's, again, it was sort of like a low energy play. He didn't have to overextend himself because he didn't get caught chasing. He just, he knew what was going to happen and he read it perfectly and made the play. If you're the Patriots this week, how cognizant would you be about where stuff on Gilmore is and what he's doing? Are you, are you worried about him this week? Do you stay away from him? Do you go after him? Well, see, here's the thing with the way their roster is.

"Everybody welcome into the great vidar patriot podcast. We are pleased and honored to welcome in our good friend Mike giardi from NFL network. We will not hold it against him that he's from millis. Considering nothing good ever comes from millis, and there's a big, that's why I had to wear my midway Mustang stuff today because, you know, a huge Thanksgiving Day rivalry between millis and midway and so Mike, thanks for coming. I appreciate it. Even though you're a medway guy, I relented. I'm sure I'm sure Mike leach somewhere is creating his teeth over this. No doubt. But yeah, so let's just dive into stuff on Gilmore. I know you've done a lot of reporting on that this week. For NFL network. And also before he went to Carolina and it was with the Patriots. One thing I was curious about in your reporting that I didn't quite understand and maybe you could just give us the Gilmore perspective. You made reference to him not being thrilled that the Patriots put him on pup. I'm not sure if that means initially or that he was on for all of training camp. Just, you know, can you explain that a little flesh it out a little bit more? Sure, my understanding Greg is that he didn't like being kept on the pulp to start the season that he felt like there was a window there where he would be ready to go back and be able to play and contribute now soon that was. If you listen to Steph the other day, when we talk to him, or if you listen to him at the podium and Carolina, there's a little bit of a contradiction there with him. You know, it sort of goes back to what I reported on back in the spring where he was like, I'm ready to go. I can do this. He told Joe saint Anderson the same thing. And then he said the other day while he wouldn't have been totally ready to go at the start of training camp. But yeah, to my understanding of it was just he felt like he would be ready to play somewhere in that window of the 6 weeks that he was forced to sit after training camp. Yeah, I mean, I understand that a little bit better now because, you know, if he was say ready, let's say he was ready within the first couple weeks of the season to be full go, that means he's out there sooner showing that he's worth more money..

"I think he's like I'll get really excited about him next year. Not to say I'm not excited about him. He's just I mean Santa repeat these Raw. It's coming off an injury but Papa Patriot in the game. Here, I just want to read this cuz he nailed it, I could care less about stats on passing yards. Just when ground-and-pound screen, pass all day, if that works, keep doing it, until they stop it. That's what I like about this Patriots, team heaven. And those words I was trying to find that I couldn't find in a week, passing game can certainly get you over the top, but when you go up against a good defense, right? Look at what happened, the Chiefs went up against that great Tampa, defense, they shut it down what I thought about the Patriots, what they're built to do with their strengths are built for. It's not necessarily sexy but even if you know what's coming, it's hard to stop weapons matter but we're getting a lot of getting caught up in the fact that these that the, the Patriots don't have. All I'm doing is telling you just don't get it. One more data, all of that on the more, what more do you want them to do? Besides church for Julio Jones? They went out and they spent forty million dollars on pass-catchers forty million dollars on pass-catchers. And we're still sitting here saying that the Patriots have no weapon wage. Here's my question is, do we got him scratch? Here's my question. Why are Hunter Henry and Johnny Smith not weapons? Because they're not because it says TV next, to their name on the roster, instead of you are, wage is why I guess, what, if they've gone out and signed Kenny golladay and, and, and Keenan Allen Aur Juju or whoever I I bet we there'd be people saying. Yeah, but they're still suck a Toyota. Yeah, we can move on from this, but I'm just saying, like, we talked about n'keal Harry real quick. Yes, some people didn't notice. His name has been absent from this conversation, and there's a reason for that. Yeah, so we haven't thought much about nikhil Harry. I do think that there's something. There's some benefit right to the fact that he doesn't have to be the first round, pick wide receiver. That's going to come in and be the Savior said, he doesn't have to be that guy anymore. He can sort of develop behind veteran receivers, but at the same time, it's gut-check time for a nickel area, right? If it, if he can't put anything together this song, And if you can't kind of solidified himself as an nfl-caliber receiver in this in this offense, then he's either traded. Maybe he's even cut in Camp. He's gotta have faith and show it cap. He's gotta do something, this training camp because they, they got some depth now, you know, they got, they got born, they got Myers. They got some guys that are right now. We have talked about those three guys ahead of the first round. Pick, n'keal Harry all the time, like those three guys are just a walk to be ahead of him at this point. So it is, it's it's put-up-or-shut-up time now for nuclear. Yeah. Right now, he feels like a, a Red Zone, specialist a role player. I honestly don't think he's like, I don't think he's as bad as he's looked. He wasn't the pick. AJ Brown was the pick like down towards the or device..

"Heard from Robert Kraft yesterday was a man who was completely honest about where the the team is in a lot of different areas. I wouldn't will get into this but I don't think his quarterback comments were Something to really weigh in heavily on but I do think that overall I mean him talking about, you know, the draft specifically the personality just sound thrilled with having to Shell out as much money as he did and he basically admitted that the only reason they had to do that cuz they didn't draft well in recent years and and he committed what a lot of us have said where it's not sustainable to do that. You need the draft to be the lifeblood of your team so that you can do other things like you can't just every three years song ten free agents. It just it it's probably not going to happen be it's not economically feasible. And so I thought it was very refreshing for Robert to to talk to the assemblage yesterday and and really be honest and I think you know in judging from the comments at Boston Sports Journal com from my column off of this press conference wage. Think on a whole I thought the Patriots the Patriots fans reacted very well to it that are really like, okay. Well, at least now we know that the person in charge realizes is a isn't happy about it called last season horrible and B thinks that the team has made correction and is moving in the right direction. That's all anybody ever wanted to to hear from anybody at at one page place and they heard it from Craft and I think it made Patriot Nation breathe a little bit easier. Not that they weren't confident in Bill Belichick rebounding in any event, but I just think it reinforced that. All right. Well, we're still the Patriots thought we had a we had an off-year didn't go well we're going to correct things were going to get things back on track.

"Yeah. I mean it all depends on the options, right and that's really what we're left with. I mean, you're not going to get Zach Wilson or Trevor Lawrence. I don't think it's likely you get one of the top four guys unless one of them Falls two at fifteen and you like him so much that you're going to draft him there. We look at these other names, you know, it is quite possible if not probable at San Francisco. It doesn't make a move and Jimmy G is stuck. They're dead. And you start to look around in there aren't as many options for the Patriots with Stafford swatting them away and him going to La you know with with golf going to Detroit in with when it's going to Indy you have these moves. I don't think they're going to be in on Watson. Unfortunately for them the Jets in Miami might be the two best possibilities for a Watson trade, but I don't think I don't think you believe that either team is going to work with the Patriots to give them the quarterback of the freaking future. So I don't think Donald would be available to them who is not going to be available to them the second pick and third pick I don't think will be available to them. So when you start to look at the options, you know given how the rest of the market Falls the idea of men shook am in a developmental Prospect. I don't think is the worst thing in the world. Let's jump to your number one nugget one more thing on that and and I wonder what year I'd like to get your thoughts in this cuz I was just thinking this way you were what you English Talking cuz I thought you brought up some valid points. So my initial advice to the Patriot be like look look if you love Cam and Bill loves can look. I understand that but my advice to you is don't be any rush and I don't think they need to be, you know, like look go through free agency. See what you can do make whatever trade you can if something becomes a parent that Jimmy G, like even if they traded for a men's shoe that doesn't Proclaim preclude them say the 49ers make a big move up in the draft and then they say Jimmy's available. You can still get Jimmy and you could have minchew and but my advice to the Patriots is don't do anything with Cam until after the draft like and and I just wonder how they thought they think. We need to do something because of free agency and all that that we need to get Cam. So he's texting guys or what. My advice is like don't believe in that like and I don't think they do. I think they real life going to have to make a competitive offer for the last nugget that we're going to talk about..
