You know, he'd be the guy that I would like to see come back if I'm a Cubs fan, and I'm sure that the Cubs er thinking about it, But I don't know. He seems to be enjoying himself in San Francisco. I love the way you said if I'm a Cubs fan, So, um do you do you take it right down the middle and you don't identify with any team, or I mean, I'm just saying as a fan, I would be thinking, okay. That's the guy I would want back just because of what I was saying. You know the fact that he's Legit power threat and a guy that can play multiple positions. Uh, you wouldn't have to go and spend a lot of money on shoring up certain positions because you know, he could probably play both of them once you know, once during the week, and once on the weekend, if you needed him to with He'd be the guy. I think that they would circle. Here's what stuns me as a cubs fan when a team is as mediocre or bad as they are, I say you're giving them a lot of credit. Same mediocre. I'm an optimist stuff. It comes. Yeah, so when they're this bad Isn't it amazing that no one has risen to the top. You would think someone on that team would take this moment to just stand out to stand out and I don't see it. That could be part of the problem, too, because you've got opportunity, and some guys are trying way too hard to make that impression. And they're getting outside their own abilities, which is something you worry about, sometimes with a younger club. You could argue that Patrick Wisdom is a guy that maybe is making his mark known and, uh Could factor into things passed this year as well. There have been, uh, frank swindles. Another guy that kind of been around the block. Was performing pretty well. But, you know, sometimes you worry about that, with a younger group that they try to Do things that they're not capable of doing just in order to kind of stand up as you mentioned ahead of everybody else and hey, look at me. Look at me. I should be here next year, Right? Right. There's always a lot of drinking that goes on at Wrigley. Some joke that it's the biggest bar on the north side. "You're class coming up in twelve thirteen. Th the next couple of guys the guys you came up through the minors with The number of guys that got to the big leagues. I'd i'd have to dig in. But i imagine that there aren't a ton of teams with classes from nine or ten or eight years ago with a handful of guys. Six seven eight guys still in the big leagues. Yeah i know it's pretty special. We we definitely had a really good class I still stay in contact with those guys. It's just really cool to see them all doing well at the big league level Except for like last weekend yes and then obviously like. Because i think we all understood the you know the the quote unquote grind the minor leagues plant bus trips. And you just get to know people by onsite him for a couple of years and it's just really cool to see them get their shod and do well in the big leagues and sign extensions. You just kinda take off it's It's really closely. And i got to ask you about your family and i don't want to get the story wrong but i saw a post that your lovely wife put up on instagram and san francisco in the bleachers that ballpark there's a special significance for the two of you in the last time that you were both there together so to speak right. Yeah so i went to school. You know twenty five minutes from there and so going to a game was date night. Activity isn't cheap. Tickets and enjoy the ballgame and so happen to be like years ago from that day we were going to a game and then i was actually playing in that game that day. Nine years you know from that day in so she posted a picture of us at the game. But then i went walked around the field in the morning and facetime them but yeah it was. Just kind of ironic. How that picture was that. We have to same field nine years ago. I don't know it was kind of mind. Boggling to was. Was that one of your first. Dates had been one of our first first couple dates prequel. Yeah i was exciting. Yeah it like to be able to share this with your family. I know that you know right. Now it's got to be tough at times to To not able to be with them as much as you'd like pat but you're a girl dead times to now to share all of this over the last couple of years you know. How can you even start to describe what it's been like to have them. You know on this journey with you that time. I mean it's definitely special. That word comes to mind. But it's hard to put into words Just the sacrifices that she's made you know to for me to pursue my dream and continue to play and You know a lot of credit goes to her for keeping on the right track and keep me mentally like focused insane You know i.
