"So i don't think it's gonna work But patrick willis and john taylor got into the forty niners hall of fame that was announced during the state of the franchise of chapin Last week I believe or like last week garlic a little bit before And so they both did interviews inside them for this week so it has something to talk about And stuff so. I watch vocal on this morning just to kind of get a refresher in both really good. patrick willis talked about The sm like if he if he remembered when he last wore the jersey like the first time he will report Jersey in the second time he wore Blossom your jersey hammered. That had a little bit about that. He talked about they asked him. About warner andrey greenlaw. And how. They're like a good deal linebacker. Do in how that change and he said he really think they're playing really well and relax what they were doing. inside He talked about his feet a little bit and stuff which Always forget he had a lot of feet problems on. He mentioned that Quite a bit Iras how big of a deal. That was back then But yeah he. I guess he had to get a surgery on one any just kept having like bunions on his toe with big. Tell what he uses a push off of And stuff so. He said he had had a lot of problems And it was really hard for him. I'm during the time But yeah i mean there wasn't a whole like there's a lot of cool stuff on it but a lot of it was just like reminiscing about the days. I didn't realize he was a cowboys. Fan growing up. I didn't realize that because you mentioned that a couple of times. He said it was weird. He got draft like it was weird to being opponents uniform and he was playing but he said it felt right He talked about Some different things just like they ask questions on receiver actually played a video. Might be are now. We're going to get audio. That s the problem Comment we never got audio on that other little video. I've played I did turn up the volume I don't think i could all the way it's going to destroy my ears because it's going to go through here So yeah. I don't know and i don't want unplugging want wanted to be like a weird echo because i do have the for To monitor the stream do twitch so yeah That is pretty much on patrick. Was he talked about some other stuff. he's having his own business now Name and stuff like that in this. What he's been up to now in They asked about. It just has about a random lot of random. Stop if lead game every show Playing here About a lot of different lot of random stuff Whatnot man. He was so good just watching him. I just kept thinking about having bowman playing linebacker position. There were just so good as a duo is crazy They did ask about Well speaking a little bit John taylor because john taylor other interview To a bit Did ask combat john taylor. Because they were interviewing him next and unresolved interviews and stuff and He he just had a lot of respect for him in a lot of fun Talking about that and how would have been cool to be teammates of him and stuff in Just watching him go. 'cause like the all know the big names here like joe and steven jerry and stuff like that So he's always like well. This guy's also really really good And stuff like that. So it's pretty cool yeah Men i really wish like i could play it because it have been so much better to kind of like react to it. There's don't remember All the questions Pretty simple pretty straightforward He's just he's in a good Seems like he's in a good place now. he He got. I guess he got the phone call that he is going to be into When he was flying somewhere and He missed the call from jed which i thought was pretty. Funny that I guess he got Tax or something in Is up and got roped into what was going on so i thought that was very funny. what else They just reminded me how much. Sometimes i miss them but he was really good. They'll get wrong. I love the group. We have now but man when having bowman that defense something out sometimes They're so good Yeah i mean nothing to to to crazy About him that we could talk about Now did they ask you about no. I only be active about Trae i don't think so. The ad they ass. John taylor road trae yet. Actually get answer Actually like taylor with a little bit of a better more lively interview. Been well as well as bad. But you could tell taylor was a little bit more comfortable in the interview That would have more accepted. I didn't know So i like that whatnot Yeah i mean that was pretty much willis's interview. I mean that into crazy They i mean he just. He remembers it Rumors his career obviously in his all that stuff in he did a good job and he has his own business now on. So he's doing it i do. I do think. I still follow him on instagram. He has imposed he post. But like some of it's always gets lost in the instagram algorithm crap. So i don't see a lot of what he's doing But yeah he's been. Yeah you just been chilling on basically so Yeah i guess that's really it Her.

He never got that piece of hardware. So I mean it Z. Not easy, you know, and it's all I can do is kind of figure out in my own mind, you know, using my own criteria of who I believe should be the next 15 out of the Listen 25 now and some of some might top 15 probably won't make it and And you, you readjust and you, you know, then what you get in the room, You hear all the arguments and you? You picked 10. And then that there was it down to 10 and then out of those final 10 5 will make it. Hey, Maddie. Enjoy Thanksgiving. We missed you last week. "Of those guys got in because you know, I might vote for two offensive lineman. You might vote for two offensive lineman, but they might be different offensive lineman And so in essence, you gotta They kind of cancel each other out. So that's kind of the process. I just hope was wish we could all kind of sit down and go. Okay. Yeah, I know. We're only Allowed five guys per year. Let's just all agree that these five get in this year. These five get in next year in these five get in the year after that, but that's just not the way it works. Is for you mentioned. Well, listen, he didn't make the next cut when you make a case for him. What is obviously the big thing? Hold them back is how many years he played. Can he overcome that? Because a supplier on the field. He's a hall of Famer, but a lot of people think he didn't play long enough. Yeah, that will be the issue. Clearly. I mean, I think the case would be that he was a supernova He played basically played seven years in the league. Has a pier was cut short after six games to do it, the foot injury and every means you just can't poke holes in those seven full seasons. He played. I mean, seven Pro bowls. Five All pros, You know it is. The case for him is going to be similar to the case that will be made this year for Calvin Johnson, and it will be very similar will be I'd say identical to the case is going to be made in four years for looky Clea. I guess the only thing I mean, I've just thought that while you can't vote for you can't vote for key. Clea. If you haven't voted for Patrick Willis, my guess is I believe quickly was NFL defensive player of the year one year That would probably be the argument. From the key, please. Supporters of why he should get in over over Patrick Willis skins, even though Patrick Willis played at that level for multiple seasons. He never got that piece of of hardware. So I mean it Z. Not easy, you know, and it's all I can do is kind of figure out in my own mind, you know, using my own criteria of who I believe should be the next 15 out of the list of 25 now, and some of some might top 15 probably won't make it. And then you readjust and you, you know, then it once you get in the room, you hear all the arguments and you you picked 10. And then that narrows it down to 10 and then out of those final 10 5 will make it All right, one thing, Matty. Before we let you go on the contemporary 40 Niners and I think one day we'll have a spirited discussion about Trent Williams going out of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but his career still is raging and he is a free agent. But a more pressing matter is him being on the covert 19 list for a second time. And I guess he did in an interview, say that he is a positive with the virus, which is different. So what do we know about his availability? You know, blocking this L a Rams front on Sunday. Medic. It doesn't sound great. I mean, I think a lot of the guys who haven't missed games.

"Time to do some some news from south the America. Why don't you explain what that yeah that was a news drive which the audio version contain no information? Well actually it did because we had marshmallows mark can. I did the Chubby bunny contest this morning. And it's on our instagram. The podcast where we were shoving as many marshmallows that we could in our mouth and saying players that were playing in championship weekend. What is the Chubby Bunny Party with you cowboys? It's one marshmallow at a time. And then you pull a name out of a cup and try to read it and it's easy with one but then Erica. Nearly threw up upon the fourth marshmallow. White throws like Ariel podcasts. We do together the Jessica Rosenthal Vanity Project. Every week she suggests us we do a viral sensation video. Never once is that idea passed. Now you stuck in this one. Yeah well I'm Greg Gear so fun to be around all right. Let's get into the news. Let's start we have a tiffany black. I believe joining us in a little bit To talk about this huge story coming out of Charlotte Panthers Linebacker Luke Quigley is retiring after eight seasons reasons. He announced it in a very twenty twenty way via a video message posted online. He had this to say it's never the right time to step away but now is the right time for me. It's a tough decision. I've thought about it a lot And he went on to say There's only one way to play. This is game since I was a little kid. Play fast play physical and play strong and at this point. I don't know if I am able to do that anymore. And that's the part that makes it the Most Difficult Kiki's Eglise Twenty eight years old He's a seven time pro bowler five time first team all pro in twenty thirteen and was just a second year in the League Defensive Offensive Player of the year. And this was a stunner Greg We know he's had concussion issues in the past and there was that one especially kind of chilling incident in a primetime game where he was getting carted off after a head injury against the saints I believe and he had tears streaming down his face but this past season he played all sixteen games for Carolina. I had one hundred and forty four tackles and two picks So he didn't have any injury that cost them time and yet he decides to walk away. what were your initial feelings that pound for pound. I think he's the best inside linebacker of the last two decades that I've seen get drafted and started their career. You're basically they lose in the. Yeah since I started since the last two decades. He was from the nineties. But I mean I would say I would take him over Bobby Wagner take him over Patrick Willis and it's a shame that I think probably the two guys right near the top of their list. Him in Willis didn't make it to their age thirty season season. And that keithly had everything that you could want out of the position. You know rookie of the year defensive player of the year and that for someone who obviously obviously loves the game as much as he does. It must've taken like a lot of courage and a lot of difficulty to make a decision like this and all you can do is kind of a plot plot them for doing that because I think it had to be so tough and no one really knows the entire story behind the scenes but I don't think he would be doing this unless he felt like it was really necessary. Yeah he reminds me. So much Patrick Willis both of whom I think are definite hall of famers. They were the best at the position for almost a decade. And I would throw Brian Urlacher in that. Mix guys from this century. who were great middle linebackers? When I think of Keithly I think back to our first year of the podcast when we had the team of? At at L.. And the reason why we did it was because Greg and I watched a panthers and come away raving about Luke keithly and Thomas Davis in the ground they were covering the range they had and when you watch for the next six seven years and just astonished that he knows what the play is before the snap a more than any linebacker overseeing he he reads the offenses intentions and his instincts. Were on point. I think for me it just that we call it a stunning announcement in a stunning turn of events. But maybe it's just because we've we've heard every type of NFL news story at this point. I don't think that retirement at this age needs should be viewed as stunning. We've gotten we've gotten so many more of them from. I'm not fringe players but star players at this point that the long the days of the fifteen year. NFL career probably largely over for players. That could to play a much longer than they did. I think that your it was a stunner win. Jim Brown retired still at the peak of his powers. And Luke Right there too and it's not a money thing he's got. He's walking away from a ton of cash if you look at his cap hit that. It's a life decision and playing into your mid thirties as a defensive player taking multiple head injuries not viewed as a smart choice by anyone at this point but these players I almost Davis is doing. I'm just saying it's stunning. When the when we we're GONNA get five more of these in the know someone who very publicly struggled with concussions? That looked severe and I know they didn't announce any concussions this year and the League does a better job Bob of helping out players that get concussions. But I think if you listen to the players I think it's obvious that they suffer. Far Far more concussions Russians especially the ones that are prone to it then we know about or or there's a middle ground between concussion and whatever struggles he's dealing with on on a weekly basis in in a life basis and this is a life choice I mean. I don't think it's because he you know his fingers weren't her. It's he's worried about his long-term future hall of Famer I think so yes. Look at Hall of famers differently. If you're going to get more and more players walking away from an extra three or four years on their career Willis I think is already already eligible and he doesn't even made the finalist which is crazy to me. Keithly I think would be a slight tear above Willis but you could certainly argue the other way and I understand that but the fact that he made first team all pro five times that get you in a GPO. which is I hate the idea that these these guys that get to all pros and their career and there's a decent amount of them in the hall of fame but stick around for fourteen years are pros? His aren't everything immediate everything. I'm getting bad luck to be at the same position as another great player at the same time. And just because you I mean some compositions you're right there with the first guy and it's kind of like the Jimmy Johnson. Bill Kaur were to couch. That just got in. GimMe the Jimmy Johnson. Right GIMME THEY WANNA change the game that we that anyone watching could say keithly was at the very top of the game when he was in it all right. Here's some reckless SPEC speculation on throughout their mark mark. You made the point. He's walking away from a ton of cash. Wes You made the point that he's an expert at diagnosing plays in real time uh I will add that. He's photogenic. Kind of looks like Superman. The time there's reports circulating that certain networks are UH UH looking for talent to be Being become a color analyst for Game I just don't be stunned if he gets connected to this somehow. I don't know if that's even a path. He wants to walk down but we just heard that the report that we talked about on Tuesday. Show that Tony Romo might be moving to. USPS wonder if keithly and part of the decision. Maybe because you can can make a ton of money as we know from doing broadcasting's you're not gonNA lose a lot of money. Ultimately he just a side thing somewhat be leapfrogging Greg Olsen who I think has done an awesome job. When he's been on broadcast August? Tiffany Blackman spoke about. Who will not be with US keithly on the network and she pointed out how he's not on social media how he he's the nicest guy behind hind the scenes but really stays away from the limelight and it really sounded like he wanted to stay involved in football in some way? I think broadcasting feels like that wouldn't be the type of thing the guy who is always trying to avoid a microphone and being in the spotlight with Reagan's down on your theory Dan from what I talk about like coaches which isn't a maybe he would he would be a co involved in a GM as much money as a coach is you can In the CS chair just reckless speculation. As I I said I like it. Great great player. Great Career Luke. keithly walks away at age. Twenty eight whatever they read this quote from. Thomas Davis to tiffany blank black men because this is about as far as his teammate praise gets. He was the best teammate. That I've ever had on any level easily. The nicest guy off the field you'll ever meet and the most fierce competitor you'll ever meet. The game is truly going to Miss Luke. That's a great player talking about another great player and the Panthers Team we already know they have the new head coach and Matt Rule the Cam Newton up in the air now look equally. The face of that defense is gone is a whole new era in Charlotte In other news the New Orleans police on Thursday issued a an arrest warrant for browns wide receiver. They have issued arrest warrants. So Beckham has got himself in a little bit of a mess and If you watch the video it's you you know it just it. Just Typical Beckham Stupidity. Quite frankly can buy opinion. Oh I think the security guard put that in jail for wasting our time and money not using a modicum of common sense throughout the whole situation. I mean just please a little common sense in your police work or your security guard work. Put that guy in jail for wasting our. That's terrible. Take what what what is what does he got touched on the but by the way what does that have to do with your feeling on what he did as a security ready guard have to do with Beckham in an animated fashion reaching back and slapping guy in the ass embarrassing him. It's just that it's very disrespectful. But the guy doesn't need to be in there trying to shut down controlled environments. What security guards do I mean? What is it a crime? Get Your Kazeem charged with a crime. Is it something that he didn't know. No nausea the security guard. Be and they're doing that in the first place you know. That's a security guards..

"Well I I think well this over time I honestly I think it was a better player than Patrick Willis was a great player Patrick was pure speed and man master different you would man match about Jimmy Graham you would man match amount of back that he was a a a it would look Keatley played everybody he he's like Draymond green let you know where where Patrick Willis is like I have a Scotty roamed around maybe more like a Michael Cooper or you just put him on the ball or like a Klay Thompson you know Patrick Willis should be clay worries on one specific guy and it do the run game shows up but Keatley guards everybody keep please that good so I think the bottom line is John keep the retiring at such a young age will help Patrick Willis eventually make the hall of fame I think kick the will go in well you know he's obviously got more a more of a waiting period so Patrick should be on the ballot a lot more but I think the bottom line is Luke low key Klay retiring so young is good for Patrick Willis to one day make the hall of fame because there's no way yeah I don't care if you played five games locate please a hall of fame plays like gale Sayers that he's got to go on the whole I think what started to happen here is is that people say we'll get there's a trend of guys retire young there's a trend of guys retiring young who have money it was reported a loop keeping a lot sixty three million dollars now he's given up ten million dollars next year I don't care how much you have to give up ten million but as you just pointed out Patrick Willis Rumkowski I think was this way they just I think luck was different because only to physically do it but they didn't see themselves as guys who couldn't play at the certain level that their custom to and if they have a bunch of money socked away they're fine with it you can just retire it's like me are you but you have the money to realize that good the only an exhausted all these guys and I think from a hall of fame standpoint that will help everybody don't you want to play fifteen years I and take the hall of fame out of these are men and these are these are gonna be for fathers and grandfathers and uncles and citizens and they want to live and I I remember asking Patrick is Patrick looks like he's is playing where am I going to come out of the dryer you know is right after I think go climb got hurt I think the next couple days but you know you lose kwon Alexander okay Patrick Willis retirement he could do it and what he said was he got up and he actually demonstrated it he said when I'm around the alumni now and he got up and he's you know who she is what he is walking slowly keys broken down I don't want to.

"Lawyers go ahead yeah without just I just wanted to say also to you know to some degree Seattle police expose the forty Niners the reason I say that is because okay those those receivers kept dropping the ball and this is like the last time I talk to be about they needed Patrick Willis tight okay player I mean to to help develop him well if they develop of Patrick will there even be better and then they need to you know because they're not deep at certain positions well we have the depth is gonna go when guys start getting hurt thanks for calling it's it's it's good to hear from you there's nothing bad to say about the forty Niners defense I mean were or were where we go in there for those defenses been epic but absolutely I pick Farhan Zaidi highs spoken publicly about with regard to the Gabe Kapler situation in LA specific to these allegations that were not reported to outside of the organization authorities remember who else was in the organization at that time our house IT bonds IT he was parties conversations to nobody brought that up when out when he was hired so Gabe Kapler was the first point man but you best believe is IT all was one of the guys who receive these reports with regard to the minor leaguers and the incidence involved when he and Kapler were in LA here is far Hans quote quote the biggest mistake we made was asking the wrong questions we asked what we had to do instead of what was the right thing to do I'm truly sorry for my perspective that I didn't ask the right questions I will say this I've done a lot of reading on the way that went down there's nothing that happened with Kapler or his ID that would make you think all these are bad dudes like they have their right they had their intentions in the wrong place it doesn't come across that way at all there was a mistake made here you have Zaidi already saying like we yeah we made we made a mistake with an **** right questions but there's it doesn't come across if you really read it's not they're trying to protect our guys like always sexual assault and let's just sweep it under the rug and protect our players that's not what happened it's not what happened okay let's keep going Michael in Gilroy on the sports later hi Michael it's up tonight Hey not much mark tell you doing I'm fantastic Sir I you know my recollection is that far Han and cap or had a pre existing relationship prior to you taking a job with the giant expand their works right exactly and anytime you're looking at a potential managerial candidate if you have a preexisting relationship it makes for a more coal we see managerial style going forward and I think the consensus with everybody is is far on a pretty smart guy yeah and the consensus from listing tell you Chris Harris and get a cab or talk with the wise I express themselves you could kind of tell their war then the sharpest knives in the drawer they're not uneducated people and all that they're there for I thank you firstly in the age of the analytics and stuff I think you have to lean on me the guy in charge farm on and and you know you can't how to get out of hand please come to call the shots he needs to be able to have a god there that he feels comfortable with and that will build for more by and give and take Manziel relationship will also willing mean bill might good personnel decisions Michael thanks for the call here's here's something to Michaels tapping into that's absolutely correct you know it means a lot to me in this situation what means a lot to me is that far halls IT really really really likes this guy that means something to me right think about this now we don't actually know you think you know you don't actually know Gabe Kapler okay if a really close friend of yours I'm introduces you to a friend of theirs says I think that you're you're gonna get along great aren't you like well yeah okay well yeah let's let's let's have an open mind here let's meet this person I'm I'm not saying Farrakhan's ideas some great friend of mine but I have a lot of faith in our guy he's a great dude I've talked to many many times and I think is incredibly smart baseball person another quote from society who says he is aware that many fans may have reservations about this decision and says quote I am really optimistic that as they get to know him they'll get to know the person that I got to know in LA and feel is just a real high caliber person is going to do an outstanding job for us that's another quote directly from Farhan Zaidi tonight odd that the reporting of Alex Pavlovich on Twitter okay how bout dis Stephen Australian next up on the sports leader hi Steve okay doing I'm great man it's good to hear from you know what's going on good good thank you I don't know if you remember or not but I call you back in July after the joint but the cop the tiff my family too they game for the first time and we had a great not that not I actually do remember that call Steve fantastic and I just want to give a call up about the guide kapple hiring and I've noticed that the bad bullpen coach hedges is actually left the organization as well yeah you're not gonna see a lot of you're not gonna see a lot of hold overs SO bam bam is gone he's got a job with the Marlins purges is gone this is what's going to happen the the the giants to turn this thing over and that's what both she knew and that's why you left so I guess my my question is in there because it seems to be a lot of people who get circling back to the mismanagement of the bull pen and the Phillies organization that guy kapple hat do you think that the management a looking to put in place a more experienced bullpen coach to help him died through a situation the main you know going to get anybody he is as smart as well but she was in his handling of the bullpen but somebody who has some experience around the league already many of the prisoners all Eyez former teacher like way in rags was within the organization not so much wracked with somebody like that of that ilk yeah yeah see here's what I think is great to hear from you always thank you here is what I think I think everybody who watches giants baseball needs to get ready for a whole New World a hole in the world in a whole new way so are they gonna get a bull pen go room I don't know maybe or maybe they're gonna use the ball pen completely differently than they have in the past what's happening here is that the giants are turning their organization over to a completely new approach it's what they did the moment they brought in Barnes IT and so you might see openers you might see a different approach on the ball pen out we all love Bruce pochi he brought this city three world championships but at the same time as we all give this unbelievable praise the way he handled the ball pen and he deserves that sometimes I think in that process we forget are that it has been over a thousand days since the giants were good baseball to it's been over a thousand days and for some reason and this is fascinating to me people want to hang on to it just hang on for dear life Hey offer Boetsch Heian for belt Hey all for Crawford let's hang on I get it there's there's beauty in what took place but it's been over a thousand days since the giants were good baseball team and the organization up top decided it's time for them to join the new revolution and so that's what they're doing so I think there's gonna be a lot of new things that you haven't seen before coming to oracle park this year all right eight oh eight can be our is the number choose your fate is out forget it it's gone Gabe Kapler is what we're talking about eight o'clock forty niner football against the Seahawks on the table as well we keep going with your calls it it away can be are your tax I want to read through some of these as well are Chris Biederman sag beyond the forty Niners around the corner and about a half hour also mark whether on the sports later excuse the mark Willard show on KNBR one oh four five six eighty three supports leader March twenty six twenty twenty twenty opening date for your San Francisco Giants the beginning of a new era in the modern game having a manager that can have productive in trusting relationships is really important as the proud flagship of orange and black baseball.

"Offers you, sixty six million dollars fully guaranteed. Yeah. Thirty two million a year. So I think it's a no brainer for him. The question for the eagles is whether or not you do this now or. You wait and see how this year plays out. See if he can stay healthy. See if you plays a high level, and then give them the deal. The eagles, are obviously very confident that he would do that. Because otherwise they would have waited and then they probably would have paid them be seven million year. Couple of million more than what Russell Wilson got. So the eagles are saving five million a year in my mind by doing this now if he stays healthy and plays well, which they're clearly betting on if he doesn't then it's probably not going to work out. Well, well for them, if you get hurt again, and can't play a high level, but based on what they saw in the spring, they seem pretty confidence going to happen. San Francisco forty Niners were in the news, as well left tackle, Joe Staley, getting a two year extension and Navarro Bowman is going to retire as a member of the team. Love that Joe Staley gets to finish his career there. He's been such a good player for a long time. I obviously was the exact opposite of this. But I think it's truly unique and special when a guy can spend their entire career with one team. Really? Really? Awesome. I'm thrilled for him and of aural. Bowman, you know, never really came back from that serious injury against the Seahawks. Such a good player. I thought he was a better player, frankly than Patrick Willis. I thought Navarro was that good. But he had that devastating injury and was never really the same, which isn't he'd already gotten a contract. But it is a good example, and a good reminder of if you get a chance to get one of those deals man, you're gonna take. I mean you can get a guaranteed money. You gotta take it because they're really really is. No telling whether or not you'll ever be able to be that guy again. There just isn't. So I'm thrilled. Any guy that gets big money. It's a very, very rough sport. We all can attest. Smother left tackle news includes the cardinals claiming Desmond Harrison after the Browns cut him and Trent Williams, reportedly telling people he's never going to play for the Redskins again that comes after how was medical situation was handled that does not seem like a real good situation there, whatever happened with Trent and the Redskins. He seems pretty unhappy. Let me just tell you he's gonna play for the Redskins how it ends is. They give them a new contract, and then everybody's okay with it. That's just the reality. That's just how it works. I mean, that's, that's what will happen. He'll get a new contract everybody will say okay, yeah. We're sorry. It's like a financial apology. Mark my word. That's how it will happen. Desmond harris. And that was a weird one for me for the Browns to cut them undrafted second-year player making league minimum the Saturday games last year. I wonder if they even tried to trade him, I, you know. I would think that they would have gotten something in return for him. Cheese, and some other notes include wide receiver Jemaine, curse is going to sign with the lions jets running back Levy on bell having five hundred thousand dollars worth of jewelry stolen from him and Rams radio. Analyst MAURICE Jones drew said that the ranch on Todd Gurley to be explosive all season. So they're going to limit his wear and tear this year saw. So we're Todd Gurley trying to lose some weight. I mean, they're, they're doing everything. They can now to try to preserve that knee and give him the best chance possible to extend his career. And for the Rams to get a return on that significant investment that they gave him a year ago. Significant, so that's another great example, kudos to girly for signing that deal when he did. Because if he hadn't and was trying to get the deal now he wouldn't get nearly that amount of money. And that reinforces stuff. I say here stuff we talk about on tuck heads dot com, all the time Kirsch with the lions now much say lady on bell man. I mean. I guess I don't really know what to say about that..

"Now at Barron in the hacienda crossings Dublin now back phychi Brooks. And Bob FitzGerald. And rod Brooks. Sixty. Self promotion time. Rod Brooks, and doing appearance at the new red would credit union. San Francisco branch. I know blows my mind to at a Bank loved market and San Francisco marketing Hayes. In downtown San Francisco tomorrow, three thirty to five thirty. Have you ever wondered whether inside of a Bank vault looks like I'm going to find out, maybe come hang on, which we are giving away. Giants hit kits. Dodgers are coming up so fake those tickets might be available for giveaway. Lots of swag will be given away by playing kmby or six eighty WinCo. We gotta play board when are we going to Waco board. Are we playing? Oh, definitely plink. Oh, nice SF, hometown creamery will be scooping ice cream and we've a giant jingle game. Wow. Promotions department has gotten a lot. Cooler. So yeah, you guys are playing Jenga most certainly are. And I'm might make it rang with the big bills, so we might make thunderstorm inside of would credit union downtown San Francisco branch market and Hayes. That is tomorrow. We rescheduled it from a couple of weeks ago, we were supposed to do, but had those late season may rains. So kind of hang out with your boy, good time will be had. I don't know. I might I might loan out large sums of money to people who knows I get crazy. Do me a favor just of a big stack of singles and do the sprinkler and just, you know oh that's without a doubt. Yeah. And I am going to finally realize my dream of walking down the street with a comically large canvas bag with money spilling out of Scrooge mcduck style, and it's going to have a giant dollar sign on the front. So yeah, you know, Boyne is. Dream. I'm for warning the Redwood credit union people for rods appearance tomorrow at three thirty if he starts asking questions they seem innocuous, but which of the, the bandit bills that have the the ink talked about exploding. Hoped to me about preventing Bank robbers. How do you guys do that? And then which would be the money that doesn't have the pack. Where is that, that you actually call the police, listen? Bob is twenty nineteen is a fine line between promotional appearance at a Bank and Bank robbery, okay? A tiny tiny fine line. And I'm going to see how fine of a line that is immoral. You know what I call that opportunity? You're the Bank the money in the Bank. Why can't what can't we leave with the money together Redwood? Credit union downtown San Francisco, the brand new branch a here. It is fly market and Hayes. Again. Downtown San Francisco tomorrow, three thirty to five thirty given giants tickets away, a lot of swag playing plink oh as hometown, creamery will be scooping, the ice cream and there's a giant Jing game. I, I don't I don't know what else you want. I understood we, we have a request for you. Okay. On the text line, where they basically just say will rod Brooks. Please doing. Varo Bom in tribute. I most certainly will do that. Navarro Bowman will retire as a San Francisco forty nine right? The Niners have had some great linebackers and I watched most of them play on television. Sing Patrick Willis viral Bowman of close those two dudes were really clicking. Hostile gets man. No, bile, and agile. Those two guys were hostile mobile agile and very, very intelligent linebackers. Navarro Bowman was both. Well spoken. Yes. So we'll spoken Navarro Bowman was an absolute based and just an absolute warrior. And obviously, he's always going to be it's going to be remembered for a lot of things out of uniform. But closing out candlestick in style will definitely be on his resume. Good dude. Nice dude. Softspoken cat still waters run deep Navarro bolan. And when that dude was healthy. He was one of the best I've ever seen. He's absolutely. One of the best I've ever seen that would patch. And Bowman stands alone, just as Williston alone. I just think that their place in nine or history to me, they're always going to be looked at as a tandem. And when both of those dudes were healthy. And right. Right. You you're being on the sidelines watching games you could see offenses. Not want to mess with them. I saw I saw players get real ANSI when being in Bowman Patrick Willis territory. And when Bowman got a head of steam to go get somebody. They got got. I mean he he was just he was an incredible incredible football player in, obviously, you know, because football is such a such violent sport. You know all know how he went out with his knee injury. And I was a sad sight and Seattle, but excellent football player excellent. And I'm glad he's kind of getting to go out on his term here. Retiring with the Niners that, that's that, that should be ceremony that, that a lot of people get a chance to, to someway, somehow be involved. Yeah, that's the. They, they have the Wata guys come back and signed the one day, you know ceremonial things whatever I just think it's closure, and I think it's good. I think it's a way for guy to say this was the franchise that, that meant everything to me. And, and I want to close it out and on a feel good note for where I had my best time. So I, I always think it's a good thing, so know Boeing and Patrick, Willis together man and, and really with the Vic Fangio defensive stuff it was. You know, your Justin Smith and Alden Smith in the fact that they didn't have to blitz those guys, to create pressure, because Boma, Willis when, when you hear people say, sideline to sideline stuff. Oh my God. I mean, those, those guys could do everything. So I mean that that was elite elite linebacking at at very best. So that's, that's, but it's it's always rough when a guy, you know, finally retires particularly football but Patrick went out on his own terms Bowman wasn't quite the same after you know, his last injury, whatever, but, but still, I like the Texas Navarro bomas. Definitely. Worth a mentioned, plus every time we ever had him on the show man, he was good people. It really, really quality person. And, you know, we have the televisions on here in the studio, and they were playing the, the or Super Bowl Niners ravens Super Bowl and the outcome didn't change unfortunately, but watching that game you know, kind of out of the corner of our I as we were doing the show on Monday or whenever it was last week. You just saw those twos. And like, oh, man, I wish they would have got that Super Bowl for core. I wish they would have got that Super Bowl for Navarro Bowman and obviously no disrespect to the ravens, and, and the Niners tried to. May, maybe the Niners red zone offense in the calling wasn't what it should have been. He. But yeah. I wish they would have got that Super Bowl for for those guys. That was on that list because we hadn't done that we'll have. We'll have soccer on the show. Sometimes baseball on during the show. But we haven't done that before it felt like jaws like you knew the people were going to get eaten at the end of the Super Bowl. They're like, but it was still somebody who still gripping, you still watching anyway, drums, somebody good things happening for the Niners. You're like, do they actually come back and win this? And then they get down into the red zone and you're like, what why zone read and give it to go or they're run of the ball, down their throat and Wh-why ways cabinet throwing these out routes like why so yeah. That's that is. You know the warriors losing in game seven with the LeBron track down in the kyri three that was, I think salved by them winning the next couple. Oh, yeah. No doubt the Niners. Anyway. I you know this better than anybody. Other than the players the players are happy with the three titles. They've got maybe this fourth one that's coming up. They're always going to think about the one that got away. That's just how that's just how athletes work. Yeah, you're right. You're right. For the ones at right. But for the night or one, they never had the this one got away. We came back and, and did it, you know. And so those are the ones that hurt even more say all the time in the hardest thing to do. In my mind other than win back to back titles or Baltimore titles in a row is to come back and win a title after you've lost title championship game or a championship series because to dissect backup and do it all over again and climb that mountain push that rock beg up the hill and be victorious, the, the amount of physical and mental acumen. It takes to do that is insane. And obviously the warriors have done that. And we've seen the royals have done that these are the two Spurs this, exactly. But in football. Banda's alc- instant you a right. You remember when the dodgers did it to now they didn't. By the way we better get laughs in about those guys right now. They're good story for different types, but in football, too, because it is so fleeting and it goes so quickly because of the nature of the game because of the way the NFL ultimate year-by-year. Yeah. You just you when you lose those opportunities when they get away from you. Mary's as solid solid change. You just get a chance again. That's what makes it stay gold. Well, it's good that, you know the Seahawks after they do that little. Those, you know, that, that is that's the season long version of, like you mentioned the way. The rockets lost game six of maybe way the raptors loss. Game two is that those losses leave a Mark. Oh, yeah. You know, they, they kinda denture DNA a little bit so to overcome that like the Spurs like the warriors like the royals..
