Chiefs vs. Chargers: Kansas City Defense Looking Weak Ahead of Sunday's Game
"All right folks will this next game that we've got Is going to be against our division rivals. The kansas talk Yeah so let's take a look at a couple of games for them. Their first game of the season was against the cleveland browns. That's who they played in the playoffs last year Let's see patrick. Mahomes put up over three hundred and thirty yards three touchdowns in that game Tyreek hill almost got two hundred yards. Goodness gracious On that game with a touchdown. And travis kelsey seventy six yards with two touchdowns so clearly we know who favor targets are guys from that game tyreek hill and travis kelsey They were pretty comparable as far as their stats go. Cleveland was able to put up a four hundred fifty seven yards. That's a big difference I think the big thing here is the rushing yards in this game in the next game. They they've put up very few rushing yards and they put up seventy two their week. One game against the browns. They put up sixty two week. Two against the ravens. So i'll and then the ravens put up to fifty and the browns put up one hundred fifty three so just looking at this and how close these games are this. Kansas city chiefs team is defense. Isn't what he was no. You can clearly see that. And i'm looking at these stance here. It looks like against baltimore. Game tyreek hill only got fourteen yards leagues. What happened here. So they've they've shut them down. While i think that's you know we put this in here to just show the fact that if we can lockdown kelsey and hill and just moderately. Stop the run. I think we're going to have a good chance and we just need to score touchdowns like you're gonna have to score thirty to beat these

"New evidence shows massive ancient volcanoes erupted on Mars The so called super eruptions occurred in a region of northern Mars called Arabia Terra over a period of 500 million years dating back approximately four billion years. The news was published in a paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters this summer and said researchers who studied the topography of mineral composition of the region made the discovery. The research said each one of these eruptions would have had a significant climate impact. Patrick Wheelie, a geologist at Nasa's Goddard Space Flight Center, led the Arabia Terra Analysis said to release that it's possible release gas made the atmosphere thicker or block the sun and made the atmospheric holder modelers of bars say they still have work to do to try to fully understand the impact of the volcanoes. Bike Fitting 101 with Coach Patrick Carey
"Let's just dive right in how to even define a good bike fit. I think that's a great place to start. Might take that every good bikes. It starts with the bike fitting the rider not the other way around and unfortunately oftentimes what happens is people are shoehorned onto their bikes. And that's really the office of what we want to happen. We want to set every bike up for each rider so that the rider just naturally falls into position on the bike. There's no pain points. You're not running into impingement and you're also not contracting yourself. In any way you're not overreaching. You're not spending your wrist some awkward way and and in that same idea if something hurts when you ride your bike. It's not right. Don't ever let someone tell you all that's just how riding a bike is. It's supposed to be a little uncomfortable. Now it's supposed to be joyful and supposed to be wonderful and when you get your bike set up correctly for you. it can be. That was is very much aligned. With what would. I often talk about it. We're not creating a bicycle. Recreating a cyborg and the interface between the animal and the machine is how you achieve that. Let's dive in even further so different approaches to fit. Probably what most people have been used to throw a leg over at approach literally. Stand over the bike. If you can clear the top tube. That's probably a good place. And then when you throw the word sit in there. Usually what ends up happening. Is you all the saddle height. The stem may be gets flipped. It probably does not get changed. And then also a lot of that is relying on the charts. So by companies. Put out the charts. Says if you're five seven you should be on. This is mike. If you're five ten you should be on the size bike. I personally believe that very often unfortunately results in people being on the wrong sized bike typically bike. That's too big which means that they're overreaching on that bike and you end up chasing the front end of the bike so the front end it becomes somewhat fixed in space and you can always shorten the stem so much so then that rider ends up being shoved way way forward on the bike and yeah like cement to create enjoyment. This takes away from
Interview With Patrick Bangert of Samsung SDS
"So patrick i'm glad to be able to have you with us on the program here today and we're gonna be talking. Ai at the edge particularly in the world of medical devices. Which is i know where a lot of your focus is here. We're gonna get into some of the unique challenges of leveraging data and ai at the edge in the medical space. But i want to talk first. About what kinds of products. We're talking about people think medical devices. Okay well medtronic is tracking my blood sugar on the side of my arm and you know. Then i've got a big cat scan machine kicking around over here. What kind of devices does your work involve with. And and his edge relevant From your experience. Thank you for having me on the show pleasure to be here. We are dealing with medical imaging devices. So if you have a smart watch on your wrist. That's not what we deal with. Even though those are very useful of course to measure your exercise and sleep patterns we're dealing with technologies like an ultrasound and mri is not an x ray. And what's called digital pathology which is where a biopsy is removed and put on a microscopic slide. Those kinds of technologies produce images that are relevant to telling you whether you're sick at all hopefully not or if you are what kind of disease it is. And so the job of computer vision in this case is to detect whether is a disease diagnose what it is to find out where it is to find out how big it is advanced in if cancer stage one. Three how advanced it is. And all of these outputs can of course be created. Virtually instantaneously by executing artificial intelligence models at the edge and the edge in this case is the device itself. Yeah okay so. Some devices are huge. Mri scanners take up a whole room. As some devices are quite small ultrasound. Machines view could transport it in your suitcase and so there's obviously also price difference here but nonetheless. All of these technologies do produce an image that that is then analyzed by
Mosaic Megachurch Pastor Erwin McManus on the Genius of Jesus
"A lot of times genius is not expressed in physics mathematics is expressed in so many different arenas of life but you have to have a domain where that genius is expressed. And i think that's where the genius jesus lost because there isn't an expected domain. This is hang. Hang on just want to say. That's a really cool idea. That's another idea. I've never thought of that. That's a big idea what you just said that. He didn't have you know he didn't write sonnets. He didn't right I it so yeah. So he just lived his life and share things that other people grabbed and wrote down so keep going. But that's a fascinating concept. This is why the genes of jesus is so easily missed because his domain was the human spirit that his work of art was the way his teachings his ideas his influence transformed what it looked like to be human. And so when you have a genius that affects the domain of humanity. It can be so easily overlook oxygen in the room. You don't think about the air in the room except when there is no oxygen add. The domain of jesus is the transformation of the human spirit. Now eric during unicorn during covert everybody has like their crazy moments and i wrote this book during quarantine. I was in my back house and having a conversation with myself which. I do all the time which is why. I'm rarely lonely. And but you know how sometimes you have those conflicting voices and you're not sure. Which one is you. But you're having an argument with yourself. And and i had the stock. How odd that. My entire life is centers around this person. Who two thousand years ago now. I know i'm not supposed to be having that question because i'm the founder of mosaic patrick's church. I'm a follower of jesus. But i always have these these questions and and i thought to myself how odd that my whole life is centered around this person named jesus said one thing i can't deny is that my life has been changed by jesus but objectively. I could argue that. Jesus doesn't exist. I could argue that. Jesus isn't god. But i can't actually argue that. My life hasn't been changed by this dynamic. That i've identified as jesus so i had this thought either at been changed by the reality of jesus being god himself or have been changed by the idea of
Why the Browns Should Feel Good After Losing to Chiefs
"Joe thanks for joining us. If you're a browns fan. How do you feel today. I think you feel great. And they should feel great because going into the season everybody wanted to tell them but how great they were and you always worry about your toll in that first game. I know they didn't win but they beat kansas city in that game. If you watch it from start to finish and it's just a matter for them now just learning how to finish down the stretch. This is a team that turned the entire organization and franchise around when kevin's too fancy. Got there the mentality has completely changed. The culture has changed now. Just learning how to win down the stretch but having the chiefs who two years ago they won the super bowl last year there in the super bowl a lot of people thought that they probably could have won that super bowl and going into their place in week one and really playing him. I don't think that that is anybody's something that anybody should be ashamed of if you're a browns fan

Apples iPhone Launch Event Is Confirmed. What Do We Expect?
"Joining us to come through the mess of rumors and speculation out. There is fun. Reviewer patrick colin. Welcome patrick hello. Thanks for having me first off. When is this event actually happening. It's happening tuesday september fourteenth. All right so it's less than a week away. And i know some copies in the midst of this pandemic have been experimenting with different kinds of presentations than i know. Google had a hybrid one with some folks there. This one is this. Are we expecting some a virtual only pre canned type fair. Or you think the be any kind of wrinkles. Toss at us here. That's a great question because to be honest we don't know really but we do so last fall. Apples event was virtual only and predominantly over the past year. There's been one one exception where their events have been all virtual that means everything's either prerecorded or or filmed and edited and they're basically playing video as they announced these products. And the was the google. I o event where they had some of their developers in employees. That was like a a live broadcast but it wasn't kind of like our typical event. And actually i went to a motorola event for a much smaller muss well-known phone call the motorola edge and that was the first in-person press event for a piece of hardware. I believe in the world since the pandemic started. So it's interesting. I think a lot of its are hoping that this event might be in person. I think there's a thousand reasons. Why part of the biggest reasons cove it. And when we received word about the event we received a invitation and on the invitation said california streaming which could be a reprint of the fact that this is a virtual event that will be streaming. So
"patrick " Discussed on The Dan Patrick Show
"We lived in new york. It's children we would always be the yankee stadium. It would be on in the car every time we had an outing. It was always a radio station. Always the game. And he'd be yelling and screaming if they were losing alabama. I mean it was crazy and then you know we come home and the and the game would be on and he'd be throwing stuff at the tv and my brother. And i would just go. Oh my god. So that was really our introduction. We were always athletic and we love to play outside and play sports and do all that stuff with him but watching the game was never my thing especially on tv. Going to the events i loved. I mean that's always exciting and always great you know and learning about it. I was always amazed when people would get together and they would have these in depth conversations. Know the names the history. No the batting averages no all of that stuff and i would just sit there looking at airplanes in the sky going. Okay what what was that one. I mean but don't you have topics that are similar to that as far as your depth of knowledge on it. yeah. I completely relate to that. I just wish that i knew more about it. So my point being that. I'm beginning to be more interested in learning those little things because my partner is a big sports fanatic plays soccer hockey all of that stuff growing up and he watches every game basketball every football game. You know all the tickets. So i've been getting into that now and learning those ins and outs so i don't feel like such a do f- when they're having these conversations are when he's trying to explain something to me. I don't look like there's birds flying over my head You still like that. My wife is the same way. My wife loves going to the events but she doesn't know you know the details right but she knows enough that if she sits there then she can offer up a conversation about it. But and i have three daughters to and now you know. They're meeting boys in the boys. Of course no all this sports and then my daughters are blaming me. Because i didn't make them learn sports when they were growing up. So yeah i said no you were around it all the time you chose not to learn and now they're around these guys in all they want to do is talk sports because they think my daughter's new sports because they're related to me right. I know a lot of girls that know a lot about sports. So it's it's really impressive. I mean and i mean and they are right there. You know what i mean. They know how to go to a baseball game. And shoot for that touchdown. i'll take a look at the. Nfl the nfl probably has a good thirty five. To forty percent of its audience is female. Yeah big time. They understand that one of my first dates. I ever had with my wife. We went to a mets game. And i taught her how to keep score during the game. She loved it. It was something that was interactive and she learned know kind of the nuances of baseball through. It you have to find a way into it. My experience was similar. My mother hated when the football season came around with my father. Got so excited. But in my problem was i can never understand like okay. There's two games are. There's two teams going on here and neither one is my city. Cincinnatian me is like. Oh i don't care who wins. How does that affect my i. No i know but if it was los angeles at least i could get behind it zillow. That's my team right now. That's who i would root for. But otherwise i couldn't quite get into like why do i care of one or the other one wins. Although i love watching the game or i love being there if it's a close game because i don't really care who wins but if it's closed it gets exciting well in football. I don't think you you don't need to have of territorial rooting interest. You'll watch a game. You could be betting on it. There's fantasy football. You know the the nfl checks all the boxes there that you don't it's rare when you go into a game and you go. I don't really have a rooting interest. It could be. I'm gambling or you know somebody's on my fantasy team. Somebody facing they have somebody playing in this game. Yeah betting helped especially at the horse track. Yeah for sure people who won't if they don't have any interest in a game they'll put money on it so they have a rooting interest in the game. And you only do that. When i really was football. Yeah it was funny about twenty years ago. I was at a super bowl party and it was a bunch of our friends may about four or five guys you know and then it was all the husbands and wives so most of the wives were in the kitchen when the game was going on preparing all the snacks and the food for the for the guests and everything and so me and the few guys that i brought we were in the kitchen with the wives talking help cooking swapping recipes all that bullshit and then halftime comes around and all the guys get up from the living room come into the kitchen and start eating and then all of us the wives and us we go into the living room because it was diana ross dropping from a helicopter to sing know i will survive or whatever the big and so you hear it all the ruining the guys turn around and they look into the living room with all of us in the living room in front of the tv yelling and screaming like meanwhile nobody cared about the game. You know the dichotomy of the two things was hilarious. You're making as much noise during halftime as they did during the during the game. Exactly that was. Yeah so dan you know. A lot of people have asked us how we got this show and they said. Why would dan. Patrick ever be interested in youtube people. We've heard this. We've heard it a thousand times. It's the horse's mouth. We want you to explain to them since we can't. I still haven't come up with an answer so we but i'm working on it when it was brought to me by my agent paul anderson and he said just listen. Listen to these guys. I'm more about the quality of the broadcast. Not as much content as i am how people interact like does it sound good. And that's the first thing i heard is. It sounded comfortable. And then after that then you start listening for the content with and how it was different. And i didn't want to be known as hell. You're just the sports guy right. Look i love music. Movies art cars a lot of different things. I'm interested in those things. And that's why i thought getting a different perspective of hollywood. Is it intrigued. Me and your chemistry is what really sold me because it just works it just without even trying. I don't think a lot of times you know partners will try to figure out. How do we make it sound better. I think to just do it. And it sounds better in and that sort of an innate ability to be able to do something that you're comfortable with and understand the other person strengths and weaknesses so those are the things that sound like this off the air. Well thank you thank you. Yeah i mean we've had a lot of practice. You've been friends for thirty five years so but it sounds away has but a lot of times what you wanna do is and i am to do this when i interview. People is. I want to give you the feeling you're eavesdropping on a conversation right. This isn't something that i'm broadcasting to you as much as you kind of tuned into something in your like. Am i supposed to be hearing this. I i want you to have that feel of voyeuristic but you know in in an audible way and an audible. Yeah yeah well that answers our next question about why. Getting into the hollywood podcast. But you know it's interesting. You mentioned that you're you're that you like theater and all those other things which by the way musical theater. I want to see cabaret. I went to see. Les ms catz. Yes all right. Well forget that last.

"Yeah. But I can't promise. Anything on my show. It's your showed. I'm an actor. So I do have an IMDB, but I wouldn't feel comfortable, having Dan, Patrick on modern family with no lines, and I can't promise you lines on network television shows, great as you are. Being on what about cash? How about how about dinner? Okay. Yeah. I mean, that'd be an honor. With you. But I roll really deep because if, if, if you bring me then it's, you know, the, the place Haller Africa, you know, that place five guys that's not the restaurant, I'm talking about here. These are the five guys right here we go to dinner. Now, if you wanna bring somebody. Yeah. You can if, if, if I lose the I think it would be amazing right now to make a bet that if what are we betting first of all the chiefs beat the chargers who is who goes farther. Chiefs wind. That she chargers Chaves, okay? I got the chargers going farther for a role on modern family, and then whoever picks up you in modern failing again. Okay. My just want to be part of a winner for change. Yeah. Well, we're we're has been they don't they like the shiny stuff man. We're in our eleven maybe since you're bringing for people, Eric, you can bring bring like lake bell. And okay. Inappropriate. All of your other whatever's, he's asking me to bring a married woman to dinner, Kevin Hart. I'm saying like other cast members I'm not saying on the lines of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey and then they can stare at you the whole game. Okay. Hold dinner. All right. And be like good. Good, good, take, Dan. Way to go. Dan? That was awesome. Dan? I wish you a lot of luck and success. Eric in the secret life of pets, too. No. I don't. All right, June seventh. But I do love modern family. Why we appreciate that. I do modern family. I think it's, it's, it's. You know when you look at something that lasts that long. But involves and then you have different characters and they, they allow you all. I think that that's great. Didn't stay with a one trick with. No. They're always, so many great stories coming up with new stuff and doing different things. And I think the our, our final season will we're not there's not gonna be any petitions to read, no Denault dying, nobody dies. I don't I don't think we can kill anybody. We got to stay away from that. The, the movie he's reprising his role as the Duke secret life of pets, too. He's Eric Stonestreet. He's won a couple of Emmys, and it's the eleventh and final season of modern family, we are back after this on the Dan Patrick show. The summer is heating up, which means that football season is just around the corner. I think that that's ridiculous. "Or look the other way with others doing it, then you're almost forcing other players who may not want to do this to do it Patrick Peterson who would have ever thought, as, as let athletic as he was coming out of college at LSU that you'd go man, he needed a little pick me up her here or was it come back from an injury. I mean, 'Antonio gauges a physical freak Julius peppers might be as athletic as any player who's ever played this game. And they use them. Now that, that's what's interesting about this. Patrick Peterson is an unbelievable and lead, but at twenty nine and he's on his way to being a hall of Famer. So I, I don't know. I think it's kind of interesting that, you know. You know, you and then he met with the media, but then his PR, people said, don't ask him anything about this. This is just I just got this from Bob mcmanamon, and he's the Zona Republic reporter. Yes, we were told he would be making a brief statement about this suspension, if we had questions to please, keep them charity related, or they would yank, Patrick Peterson off the red carpet. Patrick Peterson was in a decent mood though. So we just read the room as it were got him to answer a few suspension related questions, anyway, although there were two charity questions, if I recall, okay, we, we were curious if somebody because they were they were trying to intimidate these writers there. I what if the fluorescent? Yeah. Okay, we'll keep it shared related. When you were taking PD's to help your career was it all about the kids. There you go. You're asking about the charity, one of these days, somebody might come forward and say, all right. You know what sit down? Let me tell you how this works. This is what I did. This is where I got it. And these are the benefit of former NFL player said to me, because I said, why did players didn't take them it goes because they work that was it. It was so sustained it was worth the risk. Okay. You're going to sit me down for six game. Now it's going to cost Patrick Peterson a couple of million dollars here. But I mean who would have thought Patrick Peterson as athletically, gifted his he is? I don't know if he is battling an injury or anything mclovin, but at age twenty nine at that position defensive back, I guess so I haven't read about an injury. The other thing, too, is like we say as twenty nine why do we, I'm assuming everyone in high school. College pros, I think. These guys are taking steroids at every level probably, yes. But everybody, but it's big in highschool. I I've heard to really big because you can go on the web and you can get it. You, you could order it right now before the end of the show in probably get it delivered to you. That's how easy it is. If you know where to go, and what happens is somebody gets teammate gets it says. Hey, I got this, and this is what it costs. This is how you get it. And you get teams who are using this, and the only, you know, the scary, part of that is, there's no adult supervision. At least in the NFL you could afford somebody who can help you, you know what they get is. They'll have somebody who will look at their urine. I mean they'll look at everything they'll look at Aboul movement specimen to see what is in it. They wanna see what passes through your system, and what is going to be a red flag. But you can afford that. And that's what they do you can afford great doctors to help you with that to oversee that. Yeah. Mclovin. And what's scary about what you say is? I don't think that PD's at the NFL level or that, that dangerous to their health, probably. But in high school, they're probably using more recklessly..

"And so it gives the offense of play caller and play designer the ability to call different things for their offense that yes guys with their teams with other quarterbacks with less than average arms or average arms. They're not going to be able to dream of calling some of those plays. Why did everybody miss Patrick Mahomes? My big thing is it was Texas Tech. So everybody thought all this is just one of those system. They throw the ball every time, and then they looked at the five and seven record. And they thought well how good can he really be? I don't I it was one of those and you can go back and look at what I used to say on Bleacher report at the time. Time. I I will Pat myself on the back with this one and even Patrick Mahomes giving me credit for this as I said the first time, I watched this film. I can remember watching the film, and I called my dad when I got done and I went oh my gosh, dad this Patrick Mahomes. You gotta check him out. This guy is like unbelievable. I don't know if I've seen anybody throw the ball like him here in the recent history or anything like that. And I went on Bleacher report or podcast and said it, and I got text messages from NFL people like right away. You're crazy Mahomes. Isn't that good? What are you looking at blah, blah, blah. And then you weeks went by and everybody was his stock was rising. But what happens a lot of times is you'll have people in the media who have mock drafts. And then they're surprised when somebody moves up, but the NFL teams get their hands on you. They're not gonna let you know what they're going to do. No. And that's when I got word that I should have Patrick a scout said you should have Patrick Mahomes on prior to the draft. He's moving up, right? And we had him on. And then. Of course, he moved up a moved on months before the draft. We had him on because I was told he's the guy who's moving up him in watching. Right. We're moving up and it turned out to be true. It did. Well, it goes back to what we talked about a little earlier in the show is just a league traits. Right. And those two guys had things where I well. There's just not many people in the history of the sport that can do some of the things they do this is special like Watson's ability not only to make big throws. But dance around the pocket and make big throws in big moments. That was special then Mahomes, you know, there was enough special every game. I watched right? Just went. Whoa. I mean that is like that's Aaron Rodgers type throws right there. And then people would knock them down and go all what about the TCU game. And there was games. Like this where I wanted to go. Okay. That's great. But you know, let's go back and watch some of those games together. Tell me who's opener who he's supposed to throw to in some of these moments, and I never saw I came in. I think they played Oklahoma state and I came in on Monday. And I said, I don't know if he can play right, but I've never seen some. Buddy looked like they were in the backyard taking control and just having fun. And that's what we saw. Fritzy, what'd you learn today, by the way, if the Sixers win at all you're okay with giving mclovin a day off to attend the parade club. And what did you learn Chris pre decent jump shot? Seal Connor, what did you? Learn people not interested in Chris Simms arm strength anymore. What did you learn Mr. Bisky loves you, Dan? What did you learn today? Chris what this is that it pays to be Dan, Patrick and have a studio like this. That's what I learned. I mean, this is gosh can't hide money. Dan. Fritzy wooded I learned today. We all thought of having bed hair or losing it makes you nauseous. Yeah. Yeah. Not not the chemotherapy. Thanks for joining us. Once again, thanks for all the people reached out yesterday and today, thank you. And maybe by Monday, Tom Brady, and Michael Jordan, and Wayne Gretzky and some of those guys won't reach out. Well, maybe they've just got the message have a great weekend.

"Those guys scored a lot of points with their less defense back then I'm looking at the numbers are crazy. Yeah. But you know, I don't think you had as many great athletes. So if you were a great athlete chances are you weren't going up against quality competition every single night because I I remember watching the Chicago Bulls had Bob Weiss, and Jerry Sloan not great athletes, but they were playing they were they played a lot. Jerry Sloan was a tough guy. But Bob Weiss, not a great athlete at least watching him play against Nate Archibald or Pete Mira richer, Jerry West or will Frazier. Amick club, and you had some guys with male pattern. Baldness back. Did that happen in the seventies? If she'd clips. I'm gonna show him to. I know. I saw Bob Weiss play did. Right. The what those guys were going to shave their head like, Michael, Jordan. That was pre shaving. Hey, we're getting away from the topic about James hardening. Knucklehead. All right. Here's Kevin Durant. Talking about Patrick beverly's defense on him in the clippers. Golden State matchup. Let's go back to last month. Defined this way for a while. And we got to this series. Gang. One has some nice motel kinda give defense which been working top block and everything on remedy so God's not even looking at three point line, and forcing Gaza sat point mile. So for us when I get the bottom us bus. You know, I got a pest Patrick Beverley who was up on the Neath me acted definitely shoot over the top score every time if there's a one on one situation, but we got gotta got Joplin and help and we've got another guy that's sitting on the way from you to jewelry basketball the basketball floor. I can you know, I could probably make forty three percent of my shots at shooting like that. But that's not really going to do nothing for us at the outcome of the game. You know, because we got a nice floor by touching a rough. Okay. Wait minute seeing score. Whenever you want to be. You don't want. Then he likened it to he is Goliath and Patrick Beverley is David. If Kevin Durant can score when he needs to score. Then you probably should have him score. Now, you want to have everybody touch the ball. But ino- Patrick Beverley is doing what we saw Chris Paul do a year ago where he guarded. Kevin durant? If you're taller, you don't like the the smaller guy on you quicker guy in beverly's, not afraid. So if you're Kevin Durant. I would take it to Patrick Beverley, and I'd probably start tonight. You just don't want to give this clipper team more confidence than you already. Have. But I love watching Patrick Beverley play certainly against a rent it. It is a game within a game. And I think that Kevin Durant saying, hey, I can do what I wanna do when I want to do it. I don't know if it's as easy as that against Patrick. Beverley he made up may put up forty five tonight. He might need to put up forty five

"Like that was a that was a big big deal. It wasn't just Zion. It was the Hoyas. And it was Patrick Ewing was John Thompson. And you know, you just I was there when he was drafted. I was there that day when he was drafted. I was there for the lottery when the Knicks won the lottery. So I've been there to watch him play at different stages of his career. And the fact that the relationship changed when we were in San Antonio for the NBA finals years ago, and I was working at the mothership, and I was with John berry and Mark Jackson and Michael wilbon, we're going to go to dinner in San Antonio. And Mark then says he can't go that he's going to go out with Patrick Ewing. And I gave a little grief like well. I mean, we could always go, and he goes, no, you can't go John can go, but you can't go like it was players only. So we go we ended up going to the same restaurant. So I'm there with John Kerry. And it's awkward because there's Mark Jackson, Patrick Ewing. So we go. Hey, mark. We just seen him like thirty minutes prior. Hey, mark. And then he goes, hey, guys and Patrick's there Mark says, hey, you know, John, Dan, Patrick, and so I'm getting the feeling for Mark Jackson like okay Salo, and then get out of here because Patrick wasn't going to be comfortable with me there. So Jon, Barry, who's not afraid of anything. He said, let's just sit down. And so we sat down Patrick's to the left of me. Mark Jackson to the right? And we just started talking a couple of glasses of wine next thing. I know Mark Jackson says, hey, you wanna tell Patrick you? Don't like him. I go. What are you talking about in? Mark wasn't drinking one I should say John berry. And I were and I said we talk about it goes to tell. Who you would take a came allies you on or him, and I go I would take came and Ewing had the biggest laugh, and he thought it was great that here. I am two feet away from him. And I'm saying to Patrick Ewing. I would take came allies on over you. He loved it. And after that he was he became available. He was just comfortable with us. And then when we had him in San Antonio last year at the final four, and he came over, and we sat down did an interview. And then we started shooting hoops so poli I look over in police got I believe tears in his eyes. Now, I think because of the wind and the cold that may be that you're not really tearing like you were emotional when Patrick Ewing was out there shooting hoops, and you wanted to shoot hoops against Patrick Ewing one when he walked onto the set. I felt like I was twelve because before Michael Jordan, Chicago, my favorite college basketball player and pro. Ballplayer was Patrick you editor Jewish or Xiao was so cool. Everyone in our neighborhood and all neighborhoods bought Georgetown gear, and it's just one of those athletes. I don't think I ever expected for us to have onset..

"So you just kind of nudge them along their my my bracket won't be filled out until late tomorrow. At this time, I will be working on filling out my bracket. Probably during the final commercial break at around eleven forty. I will fill out my brackets, and then send him in. I hate it hate doing it. Because I can't watch the games. Yes. Mclovin. Do you want it to k we I'm feeling a lot of I feel like we're all miserable right now. Can we just opt out of it is that a option because we're asking these celebrities to be in the bracket challenge presented by subway, and that'd be soft. If we bow out because they want to measure a lot of these people that were having, you know, join us with this. They they don't have this opportunity. You know, they're not hard core. Sports fans, or they have an opportunity to talk sports three hours a day. So this big deal for them. It's fun for will Ferrell to do it and Bryan Cranston. And the fact that Michael Douglas is doing it. Josh do Mel sent his brackets in from Tanzania now. So this is fun for them. And we're happy to have them involved in the show. So I you know as much as I'd love to win out. Just so I can watch the games. I can't. Yeah. Polling. Do do you ever been Evan Vegas for the first round the jail? I can't go to Vegas. Well now, you can maybe now. No, not tablet. All I don't. I can't get close to that. No. I don't want any. I don't want to get close to gambling. Like, I I can't I'm in rehab. You should see Vegas those. I four the I bet it's wild. I've seen video. But I can't I can't get involved in that. Because it's a gateway and be like put a nickel here. Put a dime here. Next thing. You know, my wife's asking what's your withdrawing a lot of money. Yep. Mine a lot of drinks on bond a lot of drinks here. But no, I don't I don't want to go down that road. I did something really cool yesterday. Police said, hey, Patrick Ewing wants to interview you. He's got a podcast. I said, wait. Patrick Ewing is hosting a podcast. He wants to interview me. He said, yeah. I said, okay. So I call in Patrick Ewing. And he's with the former Washington Redskins tied in doc. Walker who's been in the media in Washington DC for probably thirty years. So Patrick was doing the interview he did his research. And he said all, you know, a little birdie told me that you used to be a disc jockey a little birdie used to toe told me used to play basketball eastern, Kentucky, little birdie too. You know, so he had my resume there. And he was asking me these questions because he said I want to get better at this. And you're somebody I always admired, and I would love if you could critique me on what I'm doing and give me some tips, and then you start to. I mean, this is Patrick Ewing asking for this. So the fact that back in the mid eighties before he he gets to the NBA I go to Georgetown, I'm covering Georgetown going into the tournament. And they were Rockstars back. Then, but you never I never got to sit down with Patrick Ewing and interviewing, but I did talk to John Thompson a few times when I went there. So you know, it's not lost on Patrick that. I was there when he was a junior and senior in college, and I couldn't talk to him. I had to talk to his coach, but the one moment, and you think Xian's famous like Patrick Ewing back then because you didn't get to see all of the games. You got to saw you got see a lot of them because of the biggies, but he stayed for years, and he had John Thompson Hoya paranoia..

One first hour heard a lot from Rams fans a little later in the in the hour. We're gonna hear more lines a loaded with Rams fans unveiling the pain today Pearl off. I mean, the most pain we heard was Ross Tucker complaining about all media room lay out for lunch. That was that was tough radio. That was really heartening. I'm not sure who is tougher to be around when they haven't had a full meal you or Ross Tucker because if you're not well fed you could be a little surly yourself. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Atlanta. I don't know if you guys noticed, but I it was there were some desperate food situation. When we are on the road. We get in about two hours before the show. And if the food is in there within an hour the first day Monday, you guys remember what happened with catering? I will never forget this. Yeah, there's come till nine some of the stuff that we had to fight through Seton that not having omelettes onset early. And that's what we expect. It was a disastrous start to the week. There's no doubt about that. I mean, I, oh, I couldn't think of it's it's just as disastrous as Tom Brady. Throwing an interception on the first play the Super Bowl. Or his first throw of the Super Bowl. I mean, it was that catastrophic. I gotta tell you though, I stayed extra day in Atlanta. I came home Sunday show. Many people came up to me and talked about various guests on our show last week. It was incredible. What what was did any guest question? Stand up more than others of the Dan Patrick show last week us. Well, yeah, there's that. But it wasn't just just Kyla berry. I know you're talking about it was a lot of Cam Jordan saquon Barkley. There's so many guys got a lot of reaction to shec- people. Just love the interviews. We had last week. And then there was Kyla Murray. We are going to talk about the column our interview last week and bring back some audio. From that interview. Let's talk about last night. Where were you guys set up for the game? What's your strategy? I'll go last. But what's fritzy I'll start with you? What was your strategy your back home? Did you go party? Did you bunk bunker down with some many hotdogs what you do? I would've loved the there with my wife, and my daughter up the road to a friend's house to watch the first half who are the Super Bowl they had a Super Bowl pointed. But thankfully, I had a nice chair in front of a big TV trying to avoid a whole lot of chatting. I said hi to everybody when I first got there. So then I can kind of be antisocial just focus on the game. While it was going on. You have a choice to not go to the party. I did. But I had blown it off a few other times. And in speaking with my wife, she said let why don't we go for the first half may or may not stay for the, you know, the halftime show. And then she promised me we'd get backed by the second half. So I could sit at my laptop and watch the game in the privacy, everyone homework on guests and all that kind of thing. So I worked on nicely. Got some food said hi to some friends and by by the start of the third quarter. I was home. And it was it was quite lovely. I went into. An isolation chamber in the bedroom and headroom. Yeah. So the bedroom. That's probably I'm not a huge TV you're dealing with. No, I had a small TV, but the distractions downstairs with the kids I did not want to risk it. Not the issue was I had made a huge Chile two kinds of meat. No big deal. And I had to eat that in the bedroom, which my wife was upset. I'm like at Super Bowl. We all have to do things adjustable with adjust. Yeah. I did the same actually not in the in the bedroom..

"Well, let's see how they do when they get into the postseason. Well, they're not going to beat the Yankees. Well, they're not going to beat the Astros. So it's this drum beat of negativity that just continues the churn because that's the you can't have a parade every day after every win. Well, we've almost pinned the needle so far in the other direction where I mean, Sony, Michelle. Was. Said to suck up until around week ten, and they still stand on that, you know, some local radio, and and you know, prominent folks here a lot of them. What do you think happens this weekend in Kansas City? Think the patriots are gonna win. I think that America is gonna just again say, oh, why why why why why Patrick Mahomes is so much fun? We could've had tyreek hill y y indie read pouring Andy Reid, but they're going to get another dose of Bella chicken breeding. I think the reason for that is health has nothing to do with anything, but they feel better. And that's why the drop off. I think in two thousand eighteen to two from two thousand seventeen I mean what they did in the Super Bowl was insane. I think a lot of the reason they lost that game was a personnel decision with Malcolm Butler. So they should've been back to back Super Bowl winners. And then this year they play underwhelming -ly. They didn't overnight get old. They got hurt. And you know, we always talk about Bella check. He takes away your best weapon. Well, I wasn't sure who that best weapon is on Kansas City. Is it Patrick Mahomes? Or is it tyreek hill? And if it's tyreek hill how do you take him out of his comfort zone here? Because it feels like that's where the game could be won or lost. They haven't done it in either meeting two thousand seventeen Oper opener two thousand eighteen he's got about two hundred sixty six yards receiving. He's got four touchdowns demo mcchord east fastest player. He scored two touchdowns on him where he just ran away from him seventy five yard touchdown. So you you have to station somebody. Way back away from the line of scrimmage and just try and corral him. But the reason the patriots lost those games is their inability to stop those huge fifty yard plus plays. I think the most coaches can go into a game and say, let's try not give up a sixty I bomb and the defense can say, yeah, we I think we can do that against Kansas City. They make that happen, regardless of how many precautions you put it house. Gronk is there any chance gronk is at threat as a receiver. Yes. And again just to go back to that game. Again was week six, but he took over that game late and we had three catches, but Kansas City eventually lost track of them. And he had the two catches which set up the game winning field goal for for Stephen Gostkowski. Yeah, he can be a threat. And when you look at how Weli blocked last week that was the role that he had and he still doesn't get available in the red zone necessarily. I don't know why he's not as quick as he had men because he was very quick last year. But I do think that he said a much better spot than he has been both mentally and physically than he has been the entire year. Currently covers patriots NBC sports Boston. Joining us Dan Patrick show. If you could know the full true answer to just one of these which one would you pick? Why Malcolm Butler was benched in the Super Bowl or who orchestrated? The Jimmy Garoppolo trade. Butler. Bummer completely because I got a pretty good handle on the Garoppolo thing you want to know what happened..

"So isn't he the flavor your well during the regular season, you want the Sean McVeigh, but you know, it's game to gain. Now winning a game. It's out coaching somebody, you know, that this is why Bella check has the legacy. He has he's he's won a lot of games. But we remember winning these kind of games where he'll out coach you. We'll talk to Ian O'Connor. He wrote the book on Bill Belichick and had some interesting things to say about Bella check, you know, that that had to win back the locker room that that was really a big hurdle after what happened with Malcolm Butler in the Super Bowl last year, which we still haven't. Gotten answers on and Bella checks, not going to tell you anything about it. But, you know, Connor said, you know, at the end of his book on Bella check. He talked about how he lost the locker room with what happened in the Super Bowl when he benched, Malcolm Butler and also is this is best coaching job. I was watching pardon the interruption yesterday with Mike, and Tony and they had the question who had a better year Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes and their take was Mahomes at his age Brady at his age. And I think they both sided with Brady at his age, which I would have as well because I also look at what Brady was working with. And what Mahomes was working you had injuries at all the wide receiving the positions for the patriot Sony. Michelle was injured, and you know, even though he was the first round draft pick. You know, Brady didn't have in dozen have good wide receiving corps. Not at all. You know, Hogan's not the same didn't have Ataman gronk is, you know, one step done, you know, that's game to game. Josh, Gordon, gone. You know, they didn't have Dion Lewis. I mean, they had James white and Sony, Michelle. So you could look at Brady had a better year. A meeting was twenty nine touchdowns eleven interceptions with that group. He had no pro bowlers. Mahomes has Kelsey, you know, I guess you could say the best titan and tyreek hill is unstoppable any ad Kareem hunt for a while. So you know, if you if you slant it that way Brady at a better season than Patrick Mahomes with what he had to work with any lost one of his best offensive lineman early in the season. Mclovin. Cub on. That is such a contrary. Take by you three. It's it. I'm learning. I'm learning from skip Bayless, screaming ace man Brady's knee, which heard all year. And that's why he was thrown into the dirt. When a pass rusher. Got with an eight yards of him. He seemed awfully careful early in the season. Yes, boy, he Brady was a sixty six percent passer. Forty three hundred yards twenty nine touchdowns eleven picks. That's now a little down for him over the past three little, mclovin. I it's slanting this. I said at forty one. Yeah. What Brady did with no weapons is more impressive. If you're looking at it in you know, in that prism, then Patrick Mahomes. The dude was throwing first hand I left handed. He was crazy. I I, you know, it just I'm much more on the surface that Mahomes Caesar was so hopefully games blindfolded. Remember, though. That's right. Yeah. Not looking at his receives throwing no look left hand passes thirty yards out of field. I think he had one. Game where he didn't even play in pads. Like, he just went out and dockers, right? Yeah. He's more like a legendary like the legend of Patrick, by the way is that going to work against the patriots. Are they going to bait him into doing something? Like, I just wanna know how Bella check are you taking away Patrick Mahomes. Are you taking tyreek hill? And I think that the indication of who's more dangerous bell checks trying to figure out tyreek hill what about Kelsey to. Well, you you're one guy who's going to benefit. But Bella check has gotta take away tyreek hill if he doesn't then they don't win this game. If tyreek hill has a quiet game. I think the patriots went again. I don't think the patriots care what the weather's like if it's frigid Amine. You're in New England Julian Edelman joined us and said, hey, we we practice outside like that's not going to be a big deal..

Reggie miller. We'll stop by as well. Say good morning to our radio and TV partners. We got a poll question. Don't we mclovin? Are we sticking with that? Yeah. We could switch it up. Right now, we have his Kyla Murray had at the NFL baseball. Basically fifty four percent. They could be a first round pick and play in the NFL. Twenty six percent baseball. Twenty four percents set grounder. Rounder. I'd another poll option. Okay. I had a couple of them. If I gave you the field versus Duke is anybody picking Duke right now to win the national title in college basketball. I'd like to know the severity of trae Jones's entering shoulder and the other one maybe more of a topic. This James harden shoot too much or is this cool. I think he's averaging twenty three shots a game a little over that. Yeah. But if they're winning then I I mean, I don't like to be solely reliant on James harden. But you almost have to be with Chris Paul injured. It's like a running quarterback though, you may win short-term. Are you going to win long term? Are you gonna win a title with that their fourth in the west right now? And it hasn't been a good start for them. I teased this at the end of last hour. The odds for which team Cuyler Murray will be playing for week one of the twenty nineteen NFL regular season this according to odds shark. Anybody wanna guess? As I had mentioned this initially. This was the team. I mentioned initially. That's at the top of the list. Mclovin. You mentioned them initially. Yeah. The dolphins. Nope. Giants raiders. Raiders. Yeah. They got three first round picks. And I still don't think cars their quarterback when they get Vegas. But raiders are number one on the list the Jags number to follow by the giants. Redskins. Cardinals are in there. Then it's the Broncos dolphins and buccaneers Bruce Arians. I believe reportedly is all in on James Winston. So he he's known him for a long time. And I think James Winston is his quarterback in Tampa back. Broncos are still looking for a quarterback dolphins looking for a quarterback. Do you trade? Josh roque. Can you get a first round pick for Josh Rosen? If you're the cardinals if I said to cliff Kingsbury, I'll get you a first round pick. It's not going to be as high as you used on Josh Rosen. But then you have an opportunity to take Murray would cliff Kingsbury if he knew he could trae Josh Rosen would he take Murray? Or would you take Nick Bosa? The Redskins need a quarterback with the injury with Alex Smith the giants that feels like it's a Haskins call than it is a Murray call with the giants Jags. And then the raiders raiders with one of those three first round picks in this guy. Jon gruden. It's early be fun. Yep. We I guess you could say we in the media are so desirous of Cuyler Murray going in the draft because this is a dry draft. I don't care where he goes just wanting to go. Yeah. We're just saying oh, you got to. He's got to be in this draft. Come on come on. There's no other quarterbacks you got Haskins. But oh, I don't. Depends on where he goes. But he goes to the giants. And that certainly be interesting. What Jacksonville does do you guys? Get the feeling that Doug Peterson said goodbye to Nick foles. It sounded like that. Like, we have some nice parting gifts and thank you for everything you've done for this franchise. And then paulie goes. Well, if you look at the numbers here, if I could give you two, you know, quality quarterbacks one who won the Super Bowl and one who's considered one of the bright stars of the game and for less than twenty one million dollars. I can you can have both of those now full says, you know, I want to start. I he doesn't want to be a backup. To course in wins. I it feels like Philadelphia would accommodate him for what he's done for the team the app on..

"Now, they just have to pair them with the defensive coordinator that he can hand the keys to that side of the ball off and then go to work, but I kings berry and and Josh Rosen, I think is going to an interesting compr- combination. And I'll look forward to watching it. But he didn't win at Texas Tech. And he had Patrick Mahomes, married. You know, so I I just I did. Didn't see the jump from. You got fired at Texas Tech. You you stop by USC to visit the campus. And now you're the head coach at Zona when I have made him the offensive coordinator. Or I would have insisted that my whoever I'm hiring is a head coach bring him is the offense coordinator, but head coach is big. That's a big jump, man. Big jump. It is a big jump. I'm anxious to see how it works in their team that really gets into bind is s e because now I think clay Helton has to stay with that particular style of offense. It's hard for him to go. Just go get another name coordinator. Because now looks as if the only hire the name they was thinking that was the system he needed to be in to be successful. Everybody can understand. But that means yes to hire that system again. And where's it going? Is it it's it's an interesting conundrum now for for clay, especially given all the recruits that signed up to be part of air raid, you know, southern. In california. And now he's gotta find another air raid guy. Interesting dilemma, I just don't know why Kingsbury signed with USC when you know, if your goal is to coach in the NFL as an assistant or as a head coach like my go to USC because if you do well, then clay Helton keeps his job. So you're not even getting the head coaching job at USC. Right. But you know, he's he's a guy that maybe wanted to just get back to the offense of side of the ball. Maybe ultimately as we've seen because he took the job in the NFL that was the ultimate goal. And to prove that he had the chops to to take a big time program back to a mantle that they so desperately crave. As you, and I know about USC, so I I understand the lure of that particular job. And that particular brand it's it's it's got everybody's eyes wide open in the football coaching world that he got he took getting fired from Texas Tech to a a job in the NFL usually takes ten or eleven in season to get that kind of noticed. But we're in a in a world of trickle up football. Meaning think of all the high school coaches that now have big multimillion dollar deals at at at the collegiate level, right? Gus malzahn, right? We went who from Springdale Arkansas went all the. Way up announced making forty nine million bucks and the same things happening because we he took that little offense are riles was a high school coach and took his offense to college. You saw all these moves. And now the college fences are making their way to the NFL, and everybody's going I need to get one of those. Right. I need one of that as fancy cars and Kingsbury represents. What about Bruce Arians who said he was done? And I know that you guys are lifers. Like if somebody called you, you know, you're coaching right now. So there is on a hotshots. I'm surprised you're not here on location doing then. Then it's creepy on the on the on the punt team. Yeah, I'm sure there's probably room for us to play. But Bruce Arians was done. Rick get uniform. Yeah. You know, he must not have liked the broadcast. You must not liked it. Well, you know, what it is you control freaks, and then all of a sudden you sit around and you go I I don't have anything to do. Right. Yeah. Well, obviously, he couldn't hit it down the middle. You know, I it will play in a heavy fate got all foreign playing from the rump from the trees the tribe. So he just said let me get into whistle again. But I'm certainly I'm sure that they're going to be a bunch of coach is going to be joining that troop again and good for Tampa Bay good. Visit with you. We'll wait for that song. And thanks for joining us as always coach how they'll screw. How screw? All right. My friend. Take care. Rick.

"Maybe but it struck me as how that's one of the selling points. Now, you can try to sell this that hey at Patrick Mahomes. Canna losing record Mike Leach had a winning record at Texas Tech. But you know, what? Mike Leach doesn't percent himself the way cliff Kingsbury does Sean McVeigh. He's crazy. Great crazy genius. But you're not going to be hiring Mike Leach to run your team, and my point with cliff Kingsbury it look don't take the USC job. If I knew that there were teams interested in you and the NFL to be an offensive. I was told offense coordinator the cardinals went above and beyond the call of duty in meeting the head coach, that's different. I would have hired him as an offensive coordinator. I don't know if he can be a successful head coach because he wasn't at Texas Tech. And he had Patrick Mahomes. But Arezzo brings him in because they want to salvage that first round pick with Josh Rosen. That's what this is about. We gotta get a quarterback whisperer in here which us Rosen, and maybe get Larry FitzGerald, Gerald back one more time. But. And even Matt leflore with Green Bay, these could be one of those where you go, man. I didn't see that one coming. You know, Sean McVeigh at least had a pedigree with his family, and he was considered a bright offense minded guy with Washington. And he's done well with the Rams, but if you're going to go, well, we're the NBA's been looking for the next Michael Jordan for how long. Twenty years. Brad Stevens, you're gonna find the next Brad Stevens as coach in the NBA. Like, it's it's dangerous when you do that. But everybody it's a copycat league. So you're trying to find that in Arizona hiring cliff Kingsbury because he looked successful. Doesn't mean he'll be successful. Why wasn't he successful Texas Tech because he wasn't he had a losing record? In going to USC was not the right move in the first place, in my opinion. Because if you're successful the head coach keeps his job. By the way, USC looks terrible with this with how this all played out. Like, you bring him in all of a sudden not gonna let him interview. Then you let interview and then, you know, once I found out he was interview. And that's why I said yesterday in kind of cryptic terms. He wasn't coming back. Now didn't have a big buy out. He was gone. But I thought offense coordinator was going to be the role for him in the NFL. And if he was going to take a job in college would be as a head coach, but you know, Matt leflore with Green Bay, I'm right there with you. I have no idea, but Matt leflore, no, Sean McVeigh. Did they put that in the press release with Green Bay friends of Sean McVeigh? Once said Hello to Sean McVeigh. Was in line at Starbucks was Sean McVeigh. Yes, he cliff Kingsbury right now is leading the league in controversial post higher biographies because he had this one where he was a friend of Sean McVay, but you know, a week ago or whatever when he took the US siege. I remember it had cliff is single. Like that in there. Well, that's. It's easier for him to move. Tying him down. He can pack up and move in two weeks. No route he can leave, you know, southern California. It can be an Arizona and couple of weeks get the U-Haul packed up. He didn't even unpack in Los Angeles..

"The Dan Patrick show on Fox Sports radio idea. Antonio Brown story which came out yesterday. Where apparently Antonio Brown was was a healthy scratch going back to Sunday's must-win game against the Cincinnati Bengals which they ultimately end up not making the playoffs. The story goes that yet he got into it with with his quarterback and ends up throwing throwing a football at his quarterback leaves practice. Doesn't return. Doesn't return text doesn't talk to anybody. And then shows up Sunday like he's going to play. And they're like he had. No, you're you're you're not playing how do you? How do you think? Pittsburgh tries to fix the situation in the off season. Well, my colleague, I should mention that wall covers the Steelers extensively. I also add if it Brown left the stadium at halftime on Sunday. I mean, there's there's a lot to unpack with that situation. I think that same things. Bubble over you know, we've been Rothlisberger and a variety of different teammates in the past whether it's Libya on bone. Whether it's you know, things I said when more Caiphus Bryant got suspended, again, certainly he's been critical times of Antonio Brown. And so this was my understanding I heard about this in some capacity days ago that this was the point of real frustration even for she was coaches before the game because this is a must win. Now they needed help to get into the playoffs, and they did not get it. But you want your best player on the field. And for whatever reason Antonio Brown was not in the head space where he was going to be able to do that, you know, in terms of the need. You know, does he have an injury versus you know, an injury that could not have played on. There's some some gray area there. And we may get more answers from my Tom went on that. But yeah, I mean, it's a problem. This is the drama that has been around the Steelers if feels like for years and a lot of it centers on Antonio Brown. Whether he is live streaming my. Mike Tomlin talking about the patriots in the locker room going into a playoff game or something like that happened this past week. And when you're playing now receivers in general are different cats TJ, you know, that plenty well, but you know, you also hope you're able to manage those personalities and not of a situation like that play out like, he's just unfortunate. So. You would think would what's on the line last game of the season that this wouldn't come to a head? But is it very surprising considering how the season started? You got your offense of lying coming out. Bashing lady on Bill you have been coming out technically bashing Antonio Brown midseason. Does Tomlin have to sit down with everyone before the start of next season. And say listen, this is what's not going to be tolerated. No excuses. No second chances. Everybody's been warned. This is how it's going to be because elect like he can be losing team. If he doesn't address this a set. One of the unique things when we're talking about like Tomlin is that. You know, I was level db of him credit for having all these push analogies that he is tipped from combusting for years at least not bubbling over publicly versus okay? You know as you losing control of the team. I mean, he's got he's got some guys there that requires some management and every team in the NFL you got fifty three guys on Wasco. They're gonna be a couple of guys who recall a lot of extra attention. If they're good enough players on you deal with it moving forward. I it's usually seems if if whether you want to call it an accountability issue or a cultural issue is something here where you know, things went to a little bit off the rails. We were Eck and at midseason we were talking about Mike Tomlin as a coach of the year candidate because they had gotten through the bell drama. They've gotten a lot out of James Connor the defense was playing better with Schuster was a breakthrough candidate. It was you look at all the all the distractions everything he's had to manage in their winning games. But then things fall. Apart? And it's you know, how much of the finger. Do you pointed Mike Tomlin within that context? I guess that's full through everybody on the outside. The judge would certainly thinks the change by next season. I let let's let's look forward to the to the playoffs..
