I o such an uber talent. And we'll never know the true story behind it all but kind of shocking. If i knew this a year ago two years ago cbs definitely that the village dream would be released by me. I would have guessed not a high hopes for this guy. He was in that to commercial with like a bunch of wrestling legends. "This is a billion dollar company. A publicly traded company. They've got television on Fox and USA network. I. Know People don't want to believe this. I know they don't want to give WBZ, the benefit of the doubt. But I don't believe for one second. That they actually believe that there is anything to these stories. If you want to argue that they didn't investigate deep enough to find out more any of that maybe you're right I don't know. But I believe that whatever they did whatever they looked into, they believe that there is nothing to these stories because otherwise there is no way. This guy is back on television. We we have proof we have people that have been fired. We have people that have vanished off TV and may never return. I mean if they believed that there is something to a story you're gone. And I don't see anything. Where velveteen dream would be protected in any way over anybody else based on any evidence that we have has all I'm saying. That wasn't just a a press release that said that that was triple h putting his reputation online because the allegations if you've got something to do with an underage kid. So if you're going to bat for someone to that degree, you've just put your reputation on the line for that person and as well as your company's as you mentioned all the reasons of why it would be very interesting for them to go to that for Patrick Clarke when. A like you mentioned. If, he's not there nothing changes in the world of WWe nothing there's no advantage to keep him. There's no advantage to protecting Patrick Larkin especially at a time where they have not protected others and they have investigated and let other people go. So like you mentioned, I don't have any judgment on this because I don't know and I'm willing to see more as it comes along and and obviously the authorities to get involved in it. But as it stands right now whether you have any feelings towards velveteen dream or not it seems like from a at least from the corporate point of view that. Thing is seemingly clear there. So we'll have to see how this whole thing plays out and these situations as we've seen have been fluid. There have been allegations against people in the past that obviously have not only come up to rear their ugly head they've come up with multiple heads on some people to come back so. This may not be all we hear from it, and unfortunately for the velveteen dreaming for everybody else involved this an ugly situation that I don't think anybody's really gonNA forget about for a long time. US like to say that. To reiterate for people that don't like to listen and want to hear what they want to hear I. Am Not saying that I believe the dream is innocent or guilty. I am merely saying I believe they believe that he's innocent I will say one other thing because I've had people doubt this what I can tell you for sure. Because I know people were doubting yesterday velveteen absolutely was in a car accident. Absolutely. Positively. True. I. Heard About it from people that were down there. They contacted the police long before it broke is an actual story for sure he was in a car accident and the rest would ever hundred about everything else I don't know what's going on but I do know that there was a legitimate car accident. Man After that can we go back to talk about raw? Oh, boy, are we ever? Did I got thirteen emails. In Ninety minutes last night talking about how bad raw was. Now you're GONNA say that's not that. I'm not talking tweets tweet responses tax I'm talking people sat down in front of their computer and took the time to type out an email and send it to me thirteen of those in ninety minutes and I've been flooded today the some of these after the break observer life..

I won many club championships. One of those clubs is Trump national in Westchester suburban New York and bar, would this is about is the state trying to increase the tax on golf courses. They're, they're looking at what would the courses be worth if they were developed into let's say, maybe a condominium complex, like what's the full value? Of course. If it was something else. And that's what they were trying to assess the tax value. And Trump national is appealing that saying they appealed, their taxes, and then this whole plan to tax the courses at a higher rates. Seems to have gone kaput for now. Yeah, pretty good story by our colleagues, Patrick Larkin and Sydney, machi-, this week, this one kind of jumped off the page for me, for example, Westchester country club, which was a former PGA tour, stop the town of Harrison and it's assessment role values the land their values. The course thirty seven million dollars. If you take the current real estate listings for land, just the value of land per acre in Harrison, you. That might be revalued at two hundred eighty million so value right now at thirty seven million actual value might be over two hundred eighty million that just shows the discrepancy here, and obviously taxes on the values of those things differ, very greatly glow. Have they ask why the drama, why drum all this with tax rates? You know why every municipality wants more money and they're trying to figure out ways to get it. What was the movie member Rodney Dangerfield? We said the two biggest wastes of real estate, we're courses and cemetery. I don't remember which one that was Gaddi shack. No, no, no, no, no. I don't think it was. I don't remember back to school who knows. Maybe back to school. I, I don't know. But I just remember him saying to. Real estate golf courses and cemetery. And this was, this was carefully followed for while by, by golf course owners across New York, obviously, golf courses generally are not doing very well. If you look at them over the past ten years, by the way, the argument now on the reassess value that they're not doing very well. The IVA believe that's true. Sure, but any increase in tax, I would think, is an argument that a lot of golf course, owners and operators would say that made from going from profitable unprofitable was talk about the NFL union agreeing to mental health and pain management, studies and the connection involves marijuana. Well, the key here is that just the union, but the NFL and the union together, agreed to assist the players in this way. And you don't hear that no one, you don't hear them agreeing on much. They've started some CVA talks as well, but I would say monumental huge step for the NFL to be willing to look at marijuana as a pain management drug just, you know, just for a very, very conservative league. They're listening. They're watching, and they're addressing the concerns of the players and they're not alone. The NHL is also taking steps forward into this possibility. I would think as more and more states, legalized recreational marijuana. Oh, I would think the future at some point down the line, is that this will be allowed for for players. I don't know how long it's gonna take. But you're right. Certainly a big step right now. And there've been a number of NFL players. Former NFL player Russell Kun jumps out to me, offense lineman, who has been very vocal about this idea that this is a healthier alternative to some of the other potentially more damaging pain, control medication that players are using oftentimes abusing, but it's good to see that the union and the NFL are willing to at least explore the possibility of an step here. Let's talk about NASCAR. They have acquired International Speedway for about two billion dollars. I won many club championships. One of those clubs is Trump national in Westchester suburban New York. And this is about is the state trying to increase the tax on golf courses. They're, they're looking at what would the courses be worth if they were developed into let's say, maybe a condominium complex, like what's the full value of the course if it was something. Else. And that's what they were trying to assess the tax value and Trump national is appealing that saying they appealed, their taxes, and then this whole plan to tax, the courses at a higher rate seems to have gone kaput for now. Pretty good story by our colleagues Patrick Larkin and Sydney, machi- this week, this one kind of jumped off the page for me, for example, Westchester country club, which was a former PGA tour, stop the town of Harrison and it's assessment role values the land their values. The course thirty seven million dollars. If you take the current real estate listings for land, just the value of land, per acre in Harrison, you might be revalued at two hundred eighty million to value right now at thirty seven million actual value might be over two hundred eighty million that just shows the discrepancy here, and obviously taxes on the values of those things differ, very greatly glow. I have to ask why the drama why the drama all this with a tax rates. Why every municipality wants more money and they're trying to figure out ways to get it. What was the movie member? Rodney Dangerfield said the two biggest wastes a real estate. We're. Courses. And cemeteries. I don't remember which one that. No, no, no, no, no. I don't think it was. I don't remember back to school who knows. Maybe back to school. I, I don't know. But I just remember him saying. Real estate golf courses and cemetery. And this was, this was carefully followed for a while by by golf course owners across New York, obviously golf courses generally are not doing very well. If you look at them over the past ten years, by the way, the argument now on the reassess value that they're not doing very well the ivory. That's true. Sure, but any increase in tax. I would think is an argument that a lot of golf course owners and operators would say that forced us from going from profitable unprofitable. Let's talk about the NFL union agreeing to mental health and pain management, studies and the connection involves marijuana. Well, the key here is that just the union, but the NFL and the union together, agreed to assist the players in this way. And you don't hear that no one, you don't hear them agreeing on much. They've started some CBA talks as well, but I would say monumental huge step for the NFL to be willing to look at marijuana as a pain management. Drug. I just, you know, just for a very, very conservative league. They're listening. They're watching, and they're addressing the concerns of the players and they're not alone. The NHL is also kind of taking steps forward into this possibility. I would think, you know, as more and more states, legalized recreational marijuana, I would think the, the future at some point down the line is that this'll be allowed for for players. I don't know how long it's gonna take. But you're right. Certainly a big step right now. And there've been a number of NFL players. Former NFL player Russell Kun jumps out to me, offense lineman, who has been very vocal about this idea that, that this is a healthier alternative to some of the other potentially more damaging pain, control medication that players are using oftentimes abusing, but it's good to see that the union and the NFL are willing to at least explore the possibility of an app here. Let's talk about NASCAR. They have acquired International Speedway for about two billion dollars. Now that is a boost from NASCAR offer of about one point nine billion to last came up a little bit just to take the key here is I've been knows that they're both controlled by the France. Family NASCAR is seeking to sell a minority interest in the entire race series by by bringing these entities. Together. "A pleasure being with you today on in for Frank Beckmann. I hope I've lived up to somewhat the standard. He's set. We have another guest on the line today. I close out with a friend of mine, and we don't have them yet. I've just been told, but I will say this. He's still a friend of mine, and I'm going to give them the benefit of doubt that he just had his his times wrong. But hopefully, we'll have in line with this up. Pastor Kent Clark who is just a I mean, one of the greatest people that I know of the grace centers of hope in Pontiac Michigan to tell us a little bit about what he's up to in in the area. And this again falls in the category of unsung heroes that have do so much for the community, and who who give back and and whose whole life really revolves around doing good for other people. So I know that he's busy because his son in law. Law. The son of his son-in-law is actually part of the NFL draft pick today. David socal the the son-in-law of pastor. Kent Clark has a son who is a tight end at Michigan State University. And is quite an athlete and is part of the discussion on the on the draft today. So I know for a fact that Patrick Clark is in east Lansing right now supporting him and making sure that he does what have rekindled move up in the draft. I don't know if that'll help it all, but you know, it's good to have moral support when you need it. But little little background about the grace centers of hope. It's a it's a nonprofit, it's a Christian organization. It's it's done so much to change the lives of homeless addicted unwanted people in I say that because I really do believe that there are folks out there that fall in the category unfortunately of unwanted and they apply Christian principles in the teach purse. Accountability life skills education in work related programs. And it just is amazing what they have done for the community. It used to be called the Pontiac rescue mission back in nineteen forty two. And when when pastor Clark took it over and he's done a great job in turn turning this into a huge presence in Pontiac. You know, the the Patrick Clark tells me that that the average age of a of a homeless person in our country is nine years old. And if that doesn't if that doesn't grab your heart. I don't know what will they have children like that who have been impacted by through no fault of their own their learned tire life turned upside down by homelessness, and that's exactly the kind of person that that degrades centers of hope have have targeted and they continue to target as part of their mission. They they serve over. Hundred thousand meals this year is just amazing how much they've they've been able to help other people they've got a seven million dollar annual budget. I love this about them. They take it from corporate and private donors. They do not take government assistance. And I wanna tell you pastor Clark. Is one of those guys when you talk to him. He does not mince words. There's no mistaking what he believes in. How you how he thinks about an issue. He doesn't candy coat it. And he is not politically correct, always a gentleman, but not afraid to to let government know where they're feeling and what they can do to improve themselves. But one of his core beliefs is that we should not live in a in a country where the government provides everything and that really has led to a lot of problems in our country. And I think he's absolutely right on that. And I give him credit for for having been a part of that kind of that kind of transformation in the in the sector. So do we have Patrick Larkin the line yet? He's not there yet. So boy, I dunno one of my one of my favorite guys, Chris. I mean, he and he didn't show up. I it's must be this whole draft thing. I it's probably you're probably right. Probably he, you know, getting forty times and. All kinds of stuff. It's it's a it's a daunting task. I have to give them a little little break on this one. I really do. You know, he's his son calling my my my phone right now. Maybe there's something wrong. I hope that there isn't. But I'll have to call them back and find out exactly what's going on. But I just I just wanna make the point that pastor clock is just one of the greatest people you'll meet so and I'm looking forward to catching up with him. When I get a chance he on any given day a hundred and fifty two hundred people men women and children walk through the doors that that place where would they go if they didn't have pastor Clark. And and the grace centers are hoping that huge team there. So so we have we have Patrick Clark here. Bester clark. You there? I'm here. I've been hanging out and listening. I don't know. What's happening might be? My will. I am. I am I portraying this correctly. If I'd done a good job in explaining the grace centers of hope. You've done a great job. And I appreciate you. So very much we go back to what a year two thousand. Well, it's been a long eight. In the Senate, and lately and the house of representatives to pray at you're an awesome friend. Yeah. Hey, I got I think the world of you have pastor Clark. You're one of the greatest one of those people that you know, if I had if I had to build a country by myself, and I depict new founding fathers, you would be one of them. That's how I feel about you. That's how much confidence I haven't you in what I believe in your character. So and you do so much great work for the for the community. I I remember bringing you to the the state Senate and having you speak before you did the prayer, and I have never seen a prayer met with a standing ovation afterwards. I just can't say enough good about that the the energy and level of of of love in a sense of pride. You bring about our country, and what we do our communities. It just amazing to me. All I appreciate that. So very very much grace centers of hope, of course, receives no government funding. We have an eight million dollars budget. They're all comes from the giving American people who believe in what we're doing taking people from homelessness to home ownership and married a four years. The largest in the state of Michigan doing what we do. And we're seeing people get their life back after being addicted. We have an epidemic in our country has some of your guests have already express, but great things are happening in the city of Pontiac. With regard to grace centers of hope we own over fifty houses there are people are going through one year program and then two year after care program, and then have opportunity for home ownership really, entitlement is not the answer. That's right. I knew I'd get you to say that. I'm so glad that you did that's a part of your mantra. And I I'm so grateful, it's personal accountability and responsibility, and you do such a great job at teaching that I want to tell the listeners that they can volunteer at the grace centers of hope, it's a great opportunity. I've taken my staff in there for our Christmas parties to participate in. In serving meals, preparing meals, helping you around the the shelter there. They can volunteer calling the department. The volunteer department at one eight five five help G C H, and that's extension. Eleven forty two. Is my correct on that. You're correct, Mike. Okay. Why encourage everybody to call me a part of this call meet Dr or excuse me, pastor Clark. I was referring to your wife there. Dr Clark, and boy all the best to you and your family. To your son-in-law in your daughter. I hope that there's a high draft pick in your in your future. Thank you. So very very much. I wanted to ask you who that basketball? I know it boy. Well, we're the flagship station for w ever MSU. So it was a great win for the Michigan state Spartans. So just tell my. Okay. Thank you very much. All right. Have a great day.
