"But last night I saw match on raw where somebody came out of the back and attacks someone at ringside neither competitor in the match and they called for the bell. Dude. We see this on every show, somebody runs out and attacks somebody ringside every show. This happens this week. It was a d q because somebody forgot the rules after seventy four years or they were just like us. And they just decided that was what they do for a Finnish. Pro Their little bit. This person here says, this raw underground stuff could have been really cool if impact or any other promotion, did it listen I off? Jakara did this. I'm ninety percent sure based on something that I was told that this is where they got the idea somebody's videon. Somebody. saw them doing all basically this in Chicago in but listen. Dude. This isn't gonNA work anywhere because. You've got a professional wrestling show where people are doing professional wrestling matches, but then you cut away to. Real. Fights. But by the way aren't real. So they're bad. I mean they would be bad if they were real and it would be bad. Real. But so am I supposed to believe that like raw underground Shane McMahon is brought real fighting to raw? In the middle of all of the fake fighting that everybody else does lay, there was two minutes of combined action on these fights in nine million camera cuts. They still show somebody slapping their leg into real fast. Well, Eric of the Viking raiders gets in there and he does all of the moves. He doesn't a normal match, but in a normal match they. They just keep wrestling, but in raw underground hits, his knee and the guys knocked unconscious and you've got to stop the fight because I guess that's real. But everything else is fake. No promotion. Dave noted last night GNOCCHI tried this with new Japan. It didn't work in Japan. If it didn't work in Japan, it ain't GonNa work here. I'll tell you that much. And tvos being a new heel faction will surely grab the eighteen to thirty four demo. This person says no way Rodney over one point five million. Dude. Charlie interviewed the Bachelorette for Youtube and alerted her that she had a crush. It was the most natural thing I've ever seen. Well, it's going to be hard to top Lacey Evans Promo, but I'll take your word for it. Now. Exact. You spend it by the way at night Jackson suspended. Okay. So. So last week. Nigeria got mad about something, which was so compelling. Remember it. She beat up Pat Buck. So the story line is that she needs to come out and apologized pat buck. So she comes out and of course, it's the usual Wedo. She doesn't apologize. She pretends like she's going to that. She doesn't. She wants to fight Pat Buck. Pat. Buck says, no, she insists. So then he suspends her. She knows you have no power to suspend me. He even noted the only reason I'm out here was I was told to come out because there was going to be an apology. What that is cross. T.'s what what and they suspend. Nyah in like I don't know if we're supposed to care what. But like she beats up Pat Buck, he know the other thing too I. Mean I realized that I particularly hated this episode of Raw. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but this is going to be a weird analogy was gonna make sense years ago. See punk did a pipe bomb promo. where he very w e he buried. Vince. McMahon. He buried triple H. he just read Russia verbally over this company. You guys remember this Promo famous, Promo I'm sure you all remember I do. So comes out. that. In fact that was supposed to be. A he'll promo. Convinces. Mind when Siham punk said, all of these bad things about raw, you're supposed to turn on him for saying such. Terrible things about the W universe. Instead, he cuts this. Promo. Touches a nerve with fans like damn right skies right about everything. He was like a folk hero after this Promo Vincent, so clueless, he thought that this was going to be a he'll promo. So, now, we've got like a group that wants to take down raw. Like they're supposed to be a heel faction. I. Mean Dude. I'm cheering for these people. Take down this show, take the Molotov cocktail, the whole man, tear this showdown. please. But they're supposed to be horrible people that are taking down this raw show that you love. We'll see how this one does. I'll. We should take. We should like somehow take bets number one. Are they going to be there next week? They probably will because they tape two weeks TV. But like the week after or are they going to be there? That's number one and. Was the other one. I've already forgotten about it. Probably like Vince s well, how long do they go with underground? How is this underground gonNA. Be there in two weeks. Are. The invaders? It is underground going to be there two weeks from now. I'm not even sure they'll be there next week because as we've already seen, he can tape a show on the same day.

"Who is the Michael Jordan of wrestling and I thought about it a lot and at first you just like okay? Michael Jordan grazed of all time. I Guess Hulk Hogan you know Michael Jordan is like the Babe Ruth of Basketball Babe Ruth Michael Jordan Hulk Hogan you know I I think right but I really started to think about this and this is after watching the documentary. And what's important to me in? The documentary is this is not a guy who Michael Jordan was got to where he got. Judah just simply physical gifts right. That's part of it. Of course you know some of its God given but the reason that he was not just very good the reason he was the greatest of all time was because he Worked any busted his ass and the one thing that comes through in the doc is that he was always obsessed with being the best from the time he got there. His only goal was to be the best to ever do it. There's only a few people everybody wants to be the best that ever do it. But there's only a few people that will actually put the work in and really make it their goal to be the best to ever do something that they're doing and I think that is a key component to when factoring in the Michael Jordan of other professions a Scott to be somebody who came in with a singular goal of. I'm going to be the best of all time. Somebody who is naturally gifted but not somebody who would I on their debut. Michael Jordan was drafted. Third Right so would have to be somebody we're talking about. Wwe somebody wasn't necessarily pegged as. Oh yeah he's going to be the greatest of all time. You know what I mean. He's Oh yeah he's champion right away and somebody that has to work for it right. It's not just enough. That they did work for it is that they had to work for it. And it's somebody who's obsessed with winning and doing well every single time they go out there. Jordan played every single game like it was a championship game. And that's when I got to thinking. Okay who is that really and it's somebody who can do it over time. Jordan's got six rings. You know what I'm saying. So for me for me. Steve Austin could be a candidate in the sense that he wasn't pegged to be the best of all time he worked as balls off and became that way. However I think because Steve Austin only lasted the amount of time that he lasted as the best and it took him so long to get there that he doesn't factor in exactly what the Michael Jordan of wrestling the rock to me is a little more Lebron James. He also has the same thing with with Austin in the sense. That is run wasn't quite long enough on top to be considered a Michael Jordan but also not that. The Rock didn't work. You know we all know the six bucks story but the Rock was pegged to be a star from the beginning whether it worked or not Rocky Maya view was supposed to be a star and a lot of it was God given. You could say John Sina you could. I don't think John. Seen a quite. I think the difference with John. Seen is while he is in the conversation of the best of all time. I just don't see him. As Jordan Jordan had a style about him there was a style about Jordan that even a non basketball fan would look at it and go. Oh my God. What's that that to me is? What's missing with John? Cena to me the only real answer and the only choice you could say Rick Flair. And that's a debate you could have but I don't know that Rick Flair. I don't know if it's the fact that he didn't win enough because really in wrestling wins and losses. Don't matter so much I mean. Ric flair is a great match after great match. But you know first of all you couldn't call in the Michael Jordan of the wwe for sure because so much of what he did was outside of the wwe so maybe if you open this wrestling wide you could have a bigger conversation but if we're just talking about wwe it's certainly not ric flair because he didn't do that work in wwe. So with that with all of that taken into account for and I would love for you guys to tweet a love for you guys to write in comments you can email not same wrestling gmail.com. However you want to communicate with me communicate with me but tell me what you think of this because in my mind the only answer for who is the Michael Jordan of wrestling. You'd even leave it in the comments on Youtube is Shawn Michaels to me Shawn. Michaels is the Michael Jordan wrestling. He checks all the boxes. You're talking about a guy who greatness could last over the course of years. You're talking about a guy who was always good but never pegged to be the best of all time. You're talking about a guy obsessed with becoming the best of all time. You're talking about a guy who every night would go out there and try to steal the show and try to have the match of the night and try to deliver the same quality of match as if it were wrestlemainia. You're talking about a guy who did it with that style. That certain Juno say qual- the Michael Jordan. Did it with and a guy who when you look back at his career you could say yeah. Yeah that might be the best guy to ever do it. Yeah I know. Those conversations were happening while he was still playing. But when you look back at the entire career becomes much more difficult. And I'll never forget an interview that I did with with Shawn Michaels. That just made me rethink everything when he was talking about. I mean he did return match. But we don't really talk about that match. He's talking about why he didn't return and how he looked at his career and how it was all one story that he thought on that level. And that's the level of thinking that you need to think on if you're the Michael Jordan of professional wrestling to me there's no question. Shawn Michaels is the Michael Jordan of professional wrestling. I'd love to hear your opinions. Tell me I'm wrong but I doubt you can. You can prove me wrong. I doubt you could say Shawn Michaels. Not that's what I think. Somebody's worked his ASS OFF IS FRIEND OF THE SHOW. Pat Buck Pat Buck. He is one of the founders or is the founder I guess of Wrestle Pro Big Indy promotion out here on the East Coast. Pat Bug is a journeyman in this world of wrestling had a dream to make it to the WWe superstar that dream was not fulfilled for various different reasons. But as a huge shock to me he ended up a producer for. Wwe which I don't know if he ever saw coming but I certainly did not see coming. I thought he may end up you know. He owns a school called creative. Pro alongside the Prince of Queen's. Brian Myers formerly known as Curt Hawkins And I thought that that might translate into him. Coaching at the performance center. I could have seen that for him. You know he's got a lot of friends and wwe. I'm like yeah I could see him people and people really like him. He's a good trainer as I could see him I could see him as a as a as a coach at the performance center. And I'll remember I never. I'll always remember when I heard that. He got the GIG. I can't remember who told me. Might have been my wife talking to his wife but I was like always moving to Orlando and she goes. No He's going on the road. I was like what and then I found out. He was going to be a producer and he spent He spent a while at. Wwe Is a producer but he was one of the casualties of the Recent releases he was one of I think nine producers who were released but PAT has a fascinating story. And he's got a new podcast called the Pat Buck show and when I heard that he's got a new podcast. I said Pat. Why don't you come on Nazi? I'm wrestling? We have about wrestling will promote your podcast. It'll be all good. He said Sam. That's a great idea. So this is it this week on Nazism wrestling enjoy the one and only pat buck before we go a step further..

"You know teams of five and then we were striving to survive but it became such an event. It was the thing that we could count on. I think uh over the course of maybe twenty years it became just another paper. You I mean there's a lot of great survivor series moments that don't center around the team Warfare Affair. You know you talk about US great but I would say Classic moments memorable moments. Whether it's the Montreal. Screw job whether it's the first Elimination Nation Chamber match whether it's the deadly Games Tournament and the rock turning heel so much stuff so many things Shawn Michaels and his brown tights. They've all happened at survivor series. But I think part of looking forward to survivor series was there was. There was a theme about the show. I love themed pay purview. We don't have very many of them anymore. And that's why survivor series having the brand warfare. I Know Corey Graves on his podcast. was saying that That there I need to be stakes in order for us to care but I disagree I think if anything it just adds something like at the end of the day. When survivor series was first introduced as as a pay per view of teams of five striving to survive? Why did they need to be teams? I don't know just because because it's the thing. Stop asking questions maybe be you know I think brand warfares the same thing you know we. We've we've spent enough time establishing that it's not about the survivor series. Elimination matches anymore anymore. So let's make it about something else. Let's make it about brand warfare and it's been great for Annex T so why not. I'm excited about it. I'm pumped I hope you are too And that's why I wanted to do a special podcast dedicated to a but before we get there. I did want to give a shout out to Dan off and wrestle pro over the weekend and I went to wrestle pros show in Ralway New Jersey their last show of the year. Russell pro is a small independent organization. That has run out of Ralway way. New Jersey started by Pat Buck. Who is now a producer for? WWe You know him as the guy in a suit the gets beat up in every single segment geman that our producer needs to get beat up in pet bucks the guy that does it you also know him as the guy from the Internet the punch big cast in the face at one of his shows. That was pat. Buck Pat Buck and of course. He started wrestle pro before He was working for. WWe He's been on the podcast couple times. He's he's been a friend for a long time he also runs creative pro with Curt Hawkins. That's a wrestling school. That's in both Ralway and Long Island. That's the school by the way. That trained 'EM J. F.. And a bunch of other people that you're gonNA start seeing pop up which is just amazing to see enter only being a few years in business to watch the level of talent popping out of that school that is popping out of it is pretty remarkable but I say all this to say wrestle pro and something special special man. It's a really cool experience to be a part of it's a it's a organization that to me. You don't get consistency a lot in independent wrestling promotions agents and Russell pro does that. Wrestle pro gives you good old-fashioned classic independent wrestling and they put on good shows every single time. I don't have a a lot of time in my schedule to go to independent shows you know and I tried to start at the time but when I have a Saturday night that's free and russell pro is running a show in Ralway you you can count on me to pop up. And that's exactly what I did on Saturday however on Saturday I made it a point to be there because on Saturday Dan. Moth wrestled What is now going to be his final match in Russell? Pro Dam off is a guy I've known for a long time. I met Dan Moth When I a was called by a guy named Steve Mac Steve Aka Monster Mac. He called me. You know ten years more than ten years ago years in years and years ago many many years ago I I was. I was a producer for radio show called Open Anthony and I was reaching out to independent promoters now saying hey hey man. Is there anything I can do to help you with your show. I'm not looking for payday. I'm not looking for anything I'm just looking to be involved in this world and one show finally said okay it. I was here locally in Westchester. And they let me be a referee and a boxer wrestler match involving Larry Sweeney Sweet and sour. And I met Steve Mac at this show and Lo and behold steve called me and there's a couple of months after he said. Hey Man I know you're looking to do more wrestling stuff but we're we're looking for a commentator at Jersey all pro wrestling. We run shows every month. And would you WANNA come down. Maybe do some commentary force and I said are you kidding me. I would love to He gave me a shot when I'd never done any kind of commentary I'd never done anything and it was whatever I mean. It's just you just beat himself. He's good dude. The Steve Mac and I went down there and I was a part of Jersey zero pro for probably a year and a half or so There last year and a half of doing regular shows and at Jersey. All pro is where I met a guy named Dan. muff Dan Mafia was a guy. I mean big as a house. The bore Equa- beast the baone bad ass Dan off and I love Dan off because of the level of intensity that he brought to every single performance every match every Promo every everything Dan mop mafia brought things to a level that you could not believe at one point they said you know we would go get promos. It was just a thing that me and this Guy Mark Clemson. Who's doing commentary with me? Did we go get PROMOS. And so I went and and he was like you got moth little. Did I know what I was in for Mafia. I think he had just come off a loss. There was some reason that he was super extra intense. And I swear to you we did not have a conversation sation beforehand. We did not talk about what was going to go on. I said Dan Moffzoah. And so what's the haves. I don't know what I said to him but he grabbed me by the shirt collar on camera and threw me as hard as he could into a stack of folded up chairs. And I said okay. He's the real deal. He had had great match after great match. It was every single time he was in the ring. I look forward to it and later on when Russell pro kind of took over the railway REC center the Promotion. That run ran that building every month Dan Moth started becoming a a regular wrestle pro and he had this whole we'll second life on his career and I mean I see the guy. Now he's in better shape than I've ever seen him in. He's having better matches than I've ever seen him have. He's just amazing. Seizing and there've been a lot of times in my life where I've sat there and I've wondered. Why isn't there more of a buzz about him? Why isn't he a bigger deal on the Internet? Why aren't more promotions? Trying trying to sign him. What what's what is it and I think it's just one of those things because it hadn't happened until it did happen and it was announced this week that Dan Mov or last week? I guess since Monday the damn off was had signed a contract with ring of honor and I am so happy I mean Damn Emma is a guy and you can take a lot of life lessons out of professional wrestling but this is a big one. Dan Moth is a guy who had every reason to say a well. I made a go of it. Obviously it's not gonNa work out for me. It's time to move onto the next thing and just stop but it's the only thing that Dan mov never did did was stop. He just kept going. He kept going. He kept getting better. He kept having good matches matches. And you just stop he and sit there and go like well if I get signed this year. Then I'll keep going but if not I'm just GONNA quit and I'm sure you had those moments. Everybody does no matter what your profession is but he just didn't stop. He said this is the thing that I wanNA do. I'm just going to keep doing it until my body doesn't allow me to do it anymore. And eventually somebody will notice or they won't but that's not what it's about and guess what they noticed. Dan Moth is going over to ring of honoree at his last match and Russell pro against a guy named I'm Shaun Donovan. It was a phenomenal match and it was really cool to be there. Live and see it so any of you. Guys that are ring of honor fans be on the lookout gaffer. Dan Mov He's great I should have had him on the podcast years ago. But hopefully I'll have them on the podcasts at some point. It's just one of those things I've known him forever and it just never. I guess it's never come up but probably my fault. So congratulations big time. Congratulations to Dan off. He's the man and now I want to move move in to a little survivor series. Talk so on Thursday. Not Sam Thursday. We will get into everything going on at survivor series. We're GONNA go over the car. We're going to go down the whole deal but today I want to give you guys a little taste. There's a show that I do call. Captive audience is a spinoff show of not San Wrestling. Haven't done one in a while but I want to get back into them especially as the holidays start and I have a couple of off days. I'll be able to get some people in here to watch some wrestling shows. I love doing captive audience shows because in captive captive audience I take somebody wrestling fan or non wrestling fan and I show them a show that they are not familiar with. And it's I try to explain into them. The context of the show who what why when and where and why. I think it's awesome and you know what why this this why I'm a fan of this and we do it as we watch So today I have a hot dog. I've talked about here on the show before hotdog is important needs a wrestling fan. Although he wasn't watching back in the day And he's also the only person I know that at the Royal Rumble in Twenty Nineteen predicted that Kofi Kingston was GonNa win the royal rumble and go onto Wrestlemainia and win the WWe championship. I said your total idiot hotdog. It'll never happen. I sat there giant Stadium I watched Kofi Kingston at Wrestlemainia Win The wwe championship. I said hot dog. I guess you're hired. You got a job for life so today. Hotdog joins me and I show survivor series. Ninety one for the very first time. That's our interview segment. That's our state of wrestling segment.
